the girlies love you because: you are the corporate it girl. everyone is obsessed with your paparazzi photos that exude office siren but make it actually work appropriate. there are how-to videos on copying your style. not to mention, you're a businesswoman. every time you attend one of reo's games, you strategically reapply your beauty brand's lipgloss, or tease new products by applying said unreleased products while on camera. someone once asked you in a comment how does it feel to be engaged to a rich ceo? to which you replied @.reomikage how does it feel to be engaged to a rich ceo? just because your man spoils you doesn't mean you put him on a pedestal. princess treatment is the bare minimum for you.

౨ৎ SEISHIRO NAGI — the twitch streamer !! your dynamic is: so silly. you're the type of girl who looks good even with pimple patches on your face and your oversized glasses that you only wear because it has blue light blocking lenses on them. you're a well known streamer and got your start during the peak of fortnite (you started off being comically bad at the game, but again: you're a pretty girl. you being good would've just exploded every guys' brains), but once you got your bag secured, you started posting the content you preferred (dress to impress on roblox). everyone loves you because you're hilarious on camera, but you don't really keep up with sports, so when nagi joins your stream, everyone is going insane but you have no clue as to who he is. when they start spamming the chat about him, you ask your viewers "is he hot? no, scratch that. is he rich?" you've always been nagi's online crush & you basically made his whole entire month when you asked him to join you on your instagram live one day. the whole entire time, he's looking at you on the screen with literal hearts in his eyes, and he struggles to fight back his smile. it's so difficult for him to maintain a neutral expression, and this is the most any of his fans have ever heard him speak, and the comments can't stop talking about "how geeked bro is rn"

the girlies love you because: just like isagi's wag, you are a genuine sweetheart. you never hard launch nagi, but you do tease confirmation on your relationship. you'll wear one of his hoodies that people know is his, or sometimes you'll stream when nagi is over and people can see his shoulder in the frame or they'll hear him say something to you to make you laugh. you post pictures of your view of the field, usually captioning it with something like "damn. i could be going crazy on sims 4 rn" you're just such a fun person to watch, and people consider you + nagi to be their comfort couple (although most of the comforting energy comes from you and your antics).

౨ৎ RENSUKE KUNIGAMI — the pilates instructor !! your dynamic is: fun and flirty, and straight out of a romcom. you're a well-known pilates instructor and in an attempt to get more girls to garner an interest in the sports channel, the network reaches out to you to see if you want to be in a humorous segment where you try to host a pilates class with some of the pro sports team. these guys are all about bulking and lifting and stamina training, and they don't really hold pilates in a high regard, so the comedy could be there. you obviously agree, and you end up teaching kunigami's team first. he can barely concentrate on the class and fumbles a few times because he's too focused on how good you look in your lululemon hot pink set. he's trying so hard to be respectful, and when you talk to him after the class, thanking him for being one of the only guys to not look down on pilates before they had to endure a session, he's trying so hard to avert his gaze because the sight of you slightly sweaty and in your workout clothes is doing something to him. you love teasing him, and the fact that he's a gentleman and still believes in chivalry makes it all the more fun.

the girlies love you because: besides making working out fun, you feature kunigami in some videos and always tease him by making up and demonstrating some freaky positions that always have him turning red in the face. you're always so considerate and supportive of your followers, and in return, they're always supportive of your own endeavors. when you come out with your own workout line, you put your boyfriend's famous name and hot body to use. he's in your marketing campaign, but honestly, the videos of him looking at you when you're wearing your own workout set is advertisement enough.

౨ৎ RIN ITOSHI — the unbothered model !! your dynamic is: centered on the concept of private not secret. neither of you get too personal on social media; you just post aesthetic photos and sponsored content for revolve & rin's socials are managed by a team. like everyone else in the world with decent eyesight, rin's struck by your beauty. unlike most of the guys who are attracted to you, though, rin stands out. for starters, he actually has the confidence to approach you. even better: he's actually polite when he does. normally, the ones bold enough to approach you are bold and loud and kinda sleazy. rin is nothing like that. underneath both yours and his cold exterior, the two of you actually share some of the same niche interests. rin's a pretty intense person on the field and to the public, and there's not a single photo on the internet where you can be seen smiling. the aura the two of you have when paired together is insane... insanely intimidating. he's also the person you're most comfortable with and vice versa. the two of you can be messy and unfiltered and annoying with each other, and no one else.

the girlies love you because: you serve effortless cool girl. at every game you attend to watch rin, not once do the cameras catch you off guard. side profile? stunning. catching your usual neutral expression morph into concern and shock as rin gets shoved by an opponent? you still look insanely good. your hair is always done, nails are always done, your outfits are always fitted and put the other wags to shame. when girls think of iconic partners of athletes, you're always the first on their mind. there are tiktok tutorials that are trying to teach people how to emulate your energy, "[name] outfit inspo", or makeup videos trying to recreate your look. photos of you at rin's game is on every girl's "wag dream life" pinterest board, but the most popular photo is a grainy image someone managed to capture. it's taken after rin's game, and the two of you snuck off to the back of the stadium to be alone. he has his arms wrapped around your waist, and your arms are around his shoulders, and his forehead is pressed against yours and... it's the only photo where people have seen either of you smiling.

You and Rin had never had any issues in your relationship because you both understood each other. You especially knew how important soccer was for him and what his main goals were, so you always chose to support him when it was needed.

You yourself was busy with work. You would work during the times he’d be gone from home or at practice. Whatever excuse called him out of the house. The job you worked at was a career you could do from home except when you had mandatory days to come in, or award ceremonies.

Which was coming up soon, as in tomorrow night soon. This was the first reward you were getting out of the five years you had been working for this company and it wasn’t just a small award, it was being aired on international television and usually you wouldn’t ask for anything but you wanted your boyfriend to join you.

Walking into the bedroom you found Rin sitting there watching his game clips on the iPad while taking notes to work on in his next practice. He heard you come in the room and instead of looking up at you he acknowledged you by speaking. “Hey love.” He says swiping through to the next video, you nervously fidgeted with your fingers walking over to your side of the bed and straightening out the sheets to distract yourself.

In your mind this went by quick and smooth but since this is the first time you were asking for something you were nervous. “Rin hun.” He responded with a low hum writing something down on his notebook, “I have this award show tomorrow night.” You said stopping what you were doing and looking over at him.

His gaze never left the notebook only because he was solely focused on what he was writing down. It’s like he was studying for a final exam and you we’re interrupting him. “I was wondering if you’d join me.” “When?” He asked and you perked up, “Tomorrow night at six, we can leave aft-” your heart dropped at what he said next.

“There’s a game tomorrow night that I needed to go to.” He glanced up at you, those emerald eyes giving you a once over then back down at his main focus. “You don’t have a game tomorrow, your game is the next night…” he lets out a long sigh seemingly looking like he was annoyed. “Never mind.” You put the sheet down and walked out the room gently biting on your finger nail.

A couple of hours passed and as you were sitting on the island stool eating dinner Rin came out the room with his practice bag on his shoulder. He walked over to you and quickly pressed a kiss on your cheek, “I’ll be back late. Don’t wait up okay?” You nodded and watched him leave locking the door behind himself, at that exact moment you got a phone call from your manager trying to confirm that you’ll be there tomorrow night and if you were bringing a date.

You responded saying that someone would be joining you, even though you lied maybe you could convince Rin to join you tomorrow.

There were a few hours before the event so before you started getting ready you wanted to try and convince Rin to come with you again. He was sitting on the sofa watching soccer while eating a bowl of fruit, he noticed you come in and opened his arms for you to sit next to him. You leaned into him watching the game with him for a bit before bringing the award ceremony back up.

“Rin?” He grabbed the remote pausing the tv then looked down at you, “Do you think you could skip the game and come with me tonight?” You started biting on your fingernail again awaiting his answer, “I told you I was going to the game, why do you need me to go with you?” You sat up using his thigh to push yourself up. “This is important to me, I don’t ask you for much I just want you to support me for this time.” He sat up alongside you setting the bowl down on the coffee table.

“You know how important this is to me. This is the team we’re playing tomorrow, I need to see them play.” “You’ve been watching their films since Monday. You can skip one day.” You pulled your nail out of your mouth and picked at the skin around your nail. “This is a game, they’ve grown since the last game.” You sat there for a moment seeing if he would say anything else but he didn’t.

Grabbing your phone the was on the table you dialed your managers number and waited for him to answer. “Hey it’s Y/n, I’ll be by myself tonight. Don’t save any seats.” You hung up the phone feeling yourself about to start crying. Rin saw this and was moving to move to hold you but stopped when you stood up heading towards the bedroom to get ready.

You wore a long fitted emerald green dress that matched your boyfriends eyes. You had ordered his outfit to match your dress because this really was an important night that you wanted him to join you for once. The dress had a right long sleeve while the other side of the top half of the dress was strapless. You finished your hair and makeup and walked over to the bed to grab your shoes which matched your dress. Finally grabbing your clutch you stood up facing the door seeing Rin stand there with a light blush on his cheeks.

“You look beautiful my love.” He gave you a soft smile but you ignored it, “I’ll be out late don’t wait up for me.” You said walking past him and down the hall that led into the living room. “Y/n, are you mad at me?” He asked taking quick steps to catch up to you, “What do you think Rin? I want you there with me tonight because it’s a special night for me but instead of supporting your girlfriend you want to go to some useless game against a team you know you can beat on your own with your eyes closed. If I wasn’t a priority to you then you should have told me before I got into a relationship with you.” You walked into the kitchen to open the fridge grabbing a water bottle to take with you.

“Why are acting like I don’t support you?” His hands rested on the island counter and he stood there watching you slam the fridge door shut. “You don’t. You’ve never supported me, I don’t matter to you. And it’s clear to me now, soccer is all you care about. No it’s beating your brother, THATS all you care about.” You started walking towards the front door making sure you had everything. Your hand twisted the knob on the door but Rin stopped you, “You really think I won’t choose you in a heartbeat?”

You looked into his eyes trying to look for an ounce of truth or something, “No.” with that you walked out the house leaving to go to your award ceremony. As said earlier the ceremony was aired on tv everywhere, Rin felt horrible and decided not to go to the game so he was sitting on the sofa with the remote in his hand while the iPad sat in his lap. He was surfing through channels when a familiar figure appeared on his screen, he saw you sitting at a table towards the front of the room gently smiling watching the host talk into the microphone. You occasionally clapped whenever it was needed but you were just sitting there looking effortlessly beautiful.

He wasn’t even paying attention to what they were saying on the tv he just dropped everything and admired how beautiful you looked. Your hair was curled into a high ponytail and he didn’t notice earlier but you had put little gems in your hair to add to the outfit. On the tv you had stood up holding onto what looked like securities hand as he helped you walk onto stage, you smiled walking over to the host as she handed you a certificate and a small glass trophy.

You stood infront of the microphone smiling at everyone in the audience starting your speech. “…I spent long nights working hard on this project, nights I could’ve spent with my amazing boyfriend. All that work paid off, thank you so much for this amazing opportunity and I hope that our project helps all users around the world. This means a lot to me…” Rin softened hearing your voice through the tv but he felt even worse seeing a tear fall down your cheek as you made eye contact with the camera.

You started to walk away from the mic smiling but it dropped when you thought the camera was off of you but it wasn’t, he could se show sad you looked. He felt like an asshole and he wanted to make it up to you.

You had just sat back down in your seat thanking everyone at the table who said congratulations to you. Right when you got off the stage you had to take a butt load of pictures before sitting down. Your feet were killing you and you were still upset from your argument with Rin.

Setting the certificate and award on the table you pulled out your phone from your clutch scrolling through your phone to call Rin. A phone started to ring behind you and when you turned you saw Rin standing there with an anxious expression as he tried to silence his phone.

“What are you doing here?” You straightened your back noticing that he was wearing the suit you had bought for him, “Can I talk to you? In private…” He asked looking over his shoulder and noticing that cameras where taking pictures of the both of you. He grabbed your hand leading you towards an empty hall, “Rin what are you doing here, aren’t you supposed to be at the game?” You asked looking over his shoulder to try to avoid eye contact with him, his hand came up to brush across the blush on your cheeks.

“I’m here for you. I saw you receive your award on tv but I wanted to be here in person.” You opened your mouth to speak but he stopped you, his fingers lightly gripped your chin so that he could pull you in for a kiss, “I love you and you’re right. I don’t show you and that’s going to change. You do too much for me everyday and I don’t appreciate it enough. I was going to wait until tonight to apologize but I needed to do it now or I felt like I would have been single if I didn’t show up.” He said looking off to the side.

“I’m glad you know.” You said jokingly wrapping your arms around his neck to pull him down for another kiss. He pulled away for a second to whisper a quick congratulations before devouring your lips once again.

The only struggle with this placement is that natives may aspire for so much but never act on it, Jeffrey on the other hand is blessed with strong action placements like Mars conjunct MC that prevent that from happening.

Now with this Neptune placement conjunct moon, it also shows for him emotional stability can come from his ideas and dreams for what he can be in the future, can also indicate owning his dream home as moon represents the home too (which he indeed did do), this placement displays how it makes him feel really good to work on himself and act on his dream. A reason why hes so successful is also because his name, so when he ties his brand to it, it becomes extremely successful and well respected due to the guaranteed high quality reputation that his Capricorn rising gave him. Neptune Capricorn is in a sign of action, but a planet of fantasy, this has an outcome of gradual success.

If you didn’t know, It took him so long to be finally recognised, but once he was everyone wanted to be like him, wanted his reputation, wanted his success, his credibility, his competence, his knowledge of industry, his string sharp bone structure, his way of approaching business. Can I also mention that his Neptunes ruler (Saturn) is in the house of goals and aspirations, 11H represents our aspirations, wealth gained from career (and other things that I will mention in part 2). atsumu absolutely loved his career. he’s made a name for himself, broken records, set goals and continuously achieved them… he was living his dream. but if he had to name one thing he hated about being a professional athlete, it would be the distance it put between you and him.

when he was away for games and you weren’t able to come with him, phone calls, facetiming and texting were all you could do to keep each other somewhat satisfied.

some nights were okay, you kept each other laughing and smiling, and for however long the call lasted you were able to distract each other from the hurt of being apart. in those moments you were the only ones who could do that for the other. no one else could make the ache go away.

other nights were particularly bad. when the longing was stronger and the need to hold each other got to be too much, your calls often turned teary and vulnerable.

“i miss ya so much, y/n,” he sniffed into his hoodie sleeve. “i wish i could come home already.”

you tried to reassure him that his trip was almost over, but you’d be lying if you said you didn’t feel like crying too. it just didn’t feel like home without him. “i miss you too, tsumu. but it’s only three more days until you’re you’re back. i can’t wait to see you.”

he gave you an appreciative smile that didn’t quite reach his eyes. 

“here, why don’t we talk about what we’ll do when we’re together again instead of focusing on the fact we’re apart?”

this time his smile did reach his eyes as he wiped away a stray tear and pushed his hood back. his hair was a little messed up, his nose was still runny and he looked visibly drained, like anyone would after crying, but you only felt more in love with him.

and three days later, when he was finally in your arms again, holding onto you so tight, he was struck with a realization. 

“ya know before i met ya, i never really got homesick?”

that in itself was sweet, and it tugged on your heart a bit, but you could tell he wasn’t finished so you stayed silent. 

“like, whenever i used to say i missed home i really just missed the comfort of my apartment compared to the hotel rooms. but never to the point of it bein’ more than i could handle. i got used to it, i guess. and my mom and samu. but less so cause i was living my dream and i knew i’d never lose their support. and obviously i still miss ‘em a lot when i’m away, but... it’s different.”

“how so, tsum?”

“now when i say i miss home i’m not talkin’ about my apartment. i’m talkin’ about you. yer my home. that’s why i don’t get homesick when ya come with me. we could literally move to the other side of the world and i think i’d still be fine because home is wherever i’m with you. you are my home, y/n. i’ve never felt more comfortable with anyone in my life. it’s the same level of comfort i feel on the court but in a different way. and like, we can function just fine separately but bein’ apart just doesn’t feel right.”

you looked at him with tears in your eyes. he had put everything you were feeling into words. “you’re my home too, atsumu. this apartment doesn’t feel like home until you walk in. i love you more than anything.” it wasn’t exactly as deep or poetic as what he had come out with, but he held you closer to him and kissed you like it was. because he clearly understood you. 

the rest of the night continued on with an unspoken agreement that you had both definitely found your person.

NFL Week 5 Winners and Losers

Week 5 is over; let's see how badly I did. Do I need to be on this list? Some teams did decent, others tanked, and some might have fans returning the brown paper bags. Let's see who made the list. 

Winner 

Kirk Cousins

Cousin and the Atlanta Falcons held off the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a thriller overtime game on Thursday, scoring 30-36, but quarterback Kirk Cousins had himself a game. Going 42-of-58 for a career-high 509 passing yards and 4 touchdowns, giving the Falcons first place in the NFC South, with a 3-2 record. 

It is also essential to know that even when the Falcons were inducting former Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan into their team's hall of fame, Cousins broke Ryan's passing record that night with 509 passing yards of what was previously set by Matt Ryan with 503 yards in 2016.

Jacksonville Jaguars 

It only took 5 games, but you won your first game of the year!

Arizona Cardinals

Impressive road win by the Cardinals, who were struggling at 1-3, able to beat their divisional rivals, the San Francisco 49ers, in the heat at Levi Stadium, 24-23.

This win is interesting because the Cardinals were down by 10 twice and by 13 at halftime. In the second half, the Cardinals' defense shut out the explosive 49ers' offense and forced 3 turnovers, including the game-sealing interception by Cardinals linebacker Kyzir White. This win gives the Cardinals the edge in the NFC West.

Xavier McKinney

Green Bay Packers Xavier McKinney has five interceptions in the season's first five games. He has more interceptions than 24 other teams in the NFL; specifically, he's got more interceptions than the Jaguars, Commanders, and Titans combined.

Bryce Ford-Wheaton. 

The New York Giants were up 23-20 with 45 seconds left in the game, while the Seattle Seahawks attempted a game-tying field goal to send the game into overtime. However, this dream came to an end when the Giants blocked Seattle's field goal attempt and Bryce Ford-Wheaton to it in for the score, clinching the Giants' 29-20 victory, moving the Giants to 2-3 on the season while handing the Seahawks their second straight loss of the season, what an ending that was in the Northwest part of the country.

If you got up at the crack of dawn to watch the Jets-Vikings play in London, all the way through until the end of the Cowboys-Steelers game on Sunday night football, you are a true winner. Sunday night football ended at 12:55 am ET due to the delay in the start of the game due to inclement weather. The game didn't start at 9:45 am ET, and the Jets-Vikings game started at 9:30 am ET due to the game being played in London, England. 

Losers

Cincinnati Bengals.

Your quarterback should not throw 5 touchdowns, put up 38 points, and still lose. Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow put up 392 passing yards and 5 touchdowns, and the Bengals still could not knock off the Baltimore Ravens to a score of 41-38, and what a game that was.

The Bengals became the fifth team in the last ten years to score 38 points or more and still lose. This is the Bengals' second game this season, where they have scored 30 points or more and still lost. What is going on with that defense? 

Losers

New Orleans Saints.

The Saints had us in the first two games, putting up back-to-back 40-point games. Now, they have lost three straight, not a good look after such a fiery start. Where did all of that go???? Sure, they played the Panthers and the Cowboys defense, but this team has taken a complete 180 since Week 2.

Ryan Rehkow.

The Bengals could have won the game with the game-winning field goal if you held the ball right for McPhearson, but now you're 1-4.

Cleveland Browns

The Browns are 1-4 and might be one of the worst football teams in the league. With the offensive line allowing 18 sacks in the last five games, your 200 million dollar quarterback can have a game where he plays decent, and your head coach won't eleven bother making a change at quarterback for one game???? It won't be long before Cleveland brings back the brown paper bags and has the first pick overall in the next draft.

Miami Dolphins.

I never thought how important Tua would be to the Dolphins' offense. Even with Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, and De'von Achene, the fact that you can't put up over 20 points in a game is mind-boggling. 

The Dolphins have scored only 60 points all season, averaging 12 points per game. I get that your star quarterback is hurt, but with these weapons, you have to be prepared if your quarterback gets hurt. There is too much talent on that team to only put up 60 points through the first five games.

Do people know that a tour which lasts months is promo, right? Suga might have “only” 3 weeks for pre-release promo because he is going to spend month touring which is amazing for longevity.

It really bothers me is that armys went overboard with the US charts. If they can’t keep it there they shouldn’t have put him so high just to let him down, literally.

There’s no worse thing that can happen if it free falls and this week is the only one we mostly have the focus on Jimin. After the fighting and whining about why Yoongi isn’t getting this and that like Jimin etc etc is going to start.

At least this one song is going to raise the streams for LC in the last day of tracking.

A tour is really good for promo. He could even do interviews and make radio and TV appearances while the tour is going, and that's brilliant promo too. Jimin got a month because they already knew they'd have to squeeze on the street in there. The preorder was open, sure, but also other stuff was coming out too. I don't think anything else will come out now. Face and dday is all there is now for the foreseeable future (the next three weeks).

Omg but billboard hot 100 was almost an accident😭 the goal was like #40 or less. I don't remember but not many people expected it above 50, same with smf2 that ranked 30 and that was a surprise for everyone. I don't think anyone imagined like crazy would go so high. Everyone was just on Spotify and then the first prediction came out and like crazy was listed #7 just like that.

I have to say tho that I strongly believe pjm fanbases did a lot but silently. I've seen pjm funds tweet that things were going just as they planned but they didn't want to disclose numbers. So everyone was kind of in the dark so nobody saw it coming until the predictions.

Apparently it was also a collateral effect of people buying the album, since billboard 200 was actually the record armys were going for. I'm not familiar with the specifics.

I know everyone cares about the repercussions if it free falls, but I try to be realistic about it and not let myself get carried away by antis madness. Jimin on his own is not really a solo stablished artist, this is just his first EP. Him getting a #1 even for just a week is a major milestone to me. Great majority of artists don't ever get that top position in their entire lives. Miley Cyrus got #1 with flowers, and her only one before that was wrecking ball, a decade ago. And it's Miley Cyrus, she's made a name for herself and it was that hard for her too. Taylor Swift had Willow too, it was #1 for a week and then fell several spots. And that's Taylor Swift, like... Harry got a #5 with his first solo single and that was in 2017 when the chart rules were so much easier to manipulate. He got his first #1 on his second album, it was watermelon sugar that charted #1 for only one week too. His first and only stable #1 until now has been as it was, with his THIRD (!) soloist album.

I try to be realistic and even if I'm no chart expert, I can tell from what I know from other artists I listen to, that getting a #1 even for a week is not easy. I think Jimin has the potential to top charts consistently for many weeks in a row. Face has already been the number one album on itunes worldwide for 11 days straight. But he needs to be somewhat of a household name. Getting BB hot 100 with the current rules on his debut album is a lot.

There's so much I'm wishing that will come true so it can keep that position for at least one more week. I'm wishing with everything in me that it doesn't free fall, not because I care about people who never cracked top 50 will say, but because it's actually a great song! More importantly, because Jimin deserves. I know US pjms/armys who can do something about it, will do it. But even if what they do is not enough for a second week, I think anyone in real life knows that even getting it for only week is a huge accomplishment. Jimin has just started building his career, and the only way is up.

I'm very dramatic in my feelings and the mystical and stuff so I'm also thinking a lot about how BTS got their first #1 during the pandemic with dynamite, and now Jimin is getting his #1 with a song about issues he went through during the pandemic. Full circle.

Earning a Bold.org Scholarship

Dear Reader,

Like many high school and college students, I needed to finance my higher education. One method was to apply for scholarships. I have tried several scholarship websites, including Niche, ScholarshipOwl, Unigo, and StudentScholarships. However, Bold.org remains superior because the process is quick and easy. While the other sites usually send you to another link to apply, Bold lets you apply directly, so there is no middleman.

The first and fastest way I find scholarships on Bold is through the Notifications tab at the top right corner. There, I can see scholarships that have just been published. At a glance, I can tell which scholarship will apply to me based on the title.

If I want to look deeper, I can go through the Scholarships tab in the top middle section. Then, I go to All Scholarships and narrow my searches to Undergraduate for Education Level, Education for Category (select your major), Open for Status, and Newest for the Sort by option. When I click search, I can see a list of scholarships and a brief description of the intended population (type of student, major, career, etc). I can even check the box for No-Essay Only because sometimes, I do not want to write an essay for a scholarship. Fortunately, not all scholarships require an essay. For other sites, no-essay scholarships are luck-dependent. When you apply on Bold, you must also submit your profile. Hence, donors can see your biography, essays and awards, education, career goals, sports, research, arts, public services, and future interests. Therefore, you have a higher chance of winning!

If I want to browse through more lists, I can scroll down on the same page and find scholarships by state, demographics, year, major, and other types of scholarships. There are also lists for undergraduate students, high school students, graduate students, international students, minority students, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) students, local students, women, athletes, and more. There is definitely a scholarship out there that pertains to you because some scholarships are available for any kind of student (but that means the competition will be higher)!

Applying for scholarships is a numbers game. I have applied to over 200 scholarships on this platform, winning one scholarship and becoming a finalist for four scholarships (another benefit of using Bold is knowing whether you were close to winning because most sites do not provide this information!). Winning another scholarship would mean that all my hard has paid off, and quitting after submitting 100 applications would not have led me to this victory. Getting chosen as a winner would also mean that I am one step closer to graduating from college debt-free. Most importantly, being awarded the money would mean that I can invest in my future students' education. Maybe one day, I can return the favor and support a fellow aspiring teacher financially.

You aren’t sure but you can’t just ask someone why they’re blue gosh Karen you’re so – er, wrong story) walk down the street, passing you with a hearty wave and ‘sul sul!’

Welcome to the neighborhood! You managed to finally move away from your parents after an interesting time growing up. In fact, if you did the The Sims (3) Word Crawl Part 1: Aging Up, take a moment to remember your traits, and some other various things that may or may not be important later (you’ll see when we get there).

Key Glock Steps With His Brothers On “Q-Dogz,” His Third May 2024 Single

Blidh's tally would stand as the eventual game-winning goal. Leschyshyn opened the scoring 1:07 into the hockey game, burying his first goal of the Calder Cup Playoffs. Leschyshyn entered the zone on the right-wing side, rushed into the right-wing circle, and then cut into the slot before ripping home the icebreaker on Hartford's first shot of the game. Matthew Robertson was credited with the secondary assist on the goal, the first point of his Calder Cup Playoff career. 4:20 later, the Wolf Pack extended the lead thanks to Blake Hillman's first postseason goal. Brett Berard entered the zone on the left-wing side, setting up along the wall before finding Hillman in the slot. The former Bruin let a quick shot go that beat Bussi for his third career Calder Cup Playoff tally at 5:27. Both Berard and Brennan Othmann picked up their third assists of the playoffs on the marker. The Bruins battled back to even the game 2-2 in the second period, striking twice in a span of 7:22. Jimmy Lambert got the Bruins on the board at 6:19, firing his first career Calder Cup Playoff goal by Dylan Garand from the right-wing side. Lambert then scored his second career playoff goal to tie the game at 13:41. An attempted zone exit was turned over to Oskar Steen, who fed Lambert in the slot. Lambert snapped a quick shot from a high-danger area by Garand to even the game, putting the Wolf Pack on their heels. Pitlick ripped the lead back for the Wolf Pack with 33.5 seconds remaining in the period, tipping home his first goal of the playoffs. Victor Mancini fired a shot towards the net that Pitlick got a piece of, beating Bussi to make it 3-2 in the final minute of the period. Blidh's goal 88 seconds into the third period made it 4-2, giving the Wolf Pack the needed offense on this night. Pitlick collected an assist on the goal, completing his three-point night (1 g, 2 a). Patrick Brown drew the Bruins within a goal at 19:12, tipping in an Anthony Richard shot with the extra attacker. New blog post!

New blog post is up! This is a long one, but it goes into detail about what's been going on for me personally and for LMC over the past ~3 months + details plans for the next 4-6 months. Give it a read here or check it out in full under the break below!

Happy belated new year! + updates

It’s been about 3 months since my last blog post, so I figure it’s past time for an update! First off; happy new year! We made it to 2024! I think 2023 was pretty rough for a lot of people, myself included, so we should all feel proud that we made it another year. Existing is exhausting, and every new day is an adventure. I definitely struggled a lot in 2023, and want to go over some of that in this post. With that said, let’s get into the nitty gritty of things…

First up, as of tomorrow I’m attending classes again. It was supposed to be today, but class was cancelled due to inclement weather. My schedule will be completely full Mondays and Wednesdays (8:30am-6:30pm CST), so if you reach out on those two days please allow some extra time for a response. Tuesdays I’ll also be in class, but I only have two on that day as opposed to three on MW, so I’ll have a little bit more leeway that day (I expect I’ll be occupied 10:30am-4:30pm CST). My planned schedule is Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday as class days (with Tuesday evening open for commission work as necessary) and Thursday, Friday, and Saturday as work days, with ideally Sunday as an off/relaxation day but I’ll be using it to keep up on commissions and emails if I need to. I understand that college is a big commitment while I work on clearing out my queue, but I truly feel that it’s the best option to move forward and continue to grow as well as plan out a career and the next 5-10 years of my adult life. Emails/updates/messages will be responded to daily on Thursdays through Saturdays and I’ll do my absolute best to have quick turnaround times on Sundays through Wednesdays, but can’t guarantee it. Regardless, I’m instating a new personal policy of replying to all emails within 24 hours. Communication is still something I’m struggling with and working on, but I am very much dedicated to improving and holding myself to a high standard of customer service. I’ll also be updating my email signature with a few more tidbits of info to reflect as such :) Additionally, anyone awaiting a response to their email or a progress update will be receiving one this week.

Next up, some personal updates! I had a bit of a bumpy ride closing out 2023 due to aging out of my parents’ insurance and having to get my Very Own Insurance Plan. I was rationing my meds until the 1st because I couldn’t afford to pay $200+ out of pocket for them, which resulted in a brief period of poor communication and general sluggishness/feeling like a zombie (those of you with ADHD probably know exactly what I mean). As of January 5th, I’m back on all my meds for good and don’t foresee any issues occurring with getting them, as they’re free with my insurance plan and I live in an area that doesn’t seem to be affected by shortages, thank god. I was also able to pass my first semester of college with a 4.0, which I am INCREDIBLY proud of, and one of my long-term goals this year is to get healthier and more physically active as well as be more open and transparent with myself and my work/the costume making process. This year I’m also aiming to claw my way out of the messy financial pit I ended up in, thanks in part to the Financial Audit podcast by Caleb Hammer. I highly encourage watching it if you’re financially illiterate, temporarily in a bad spot, or you’re just looking for something to listen to. I didn’t receive much of a financial education in my impressionable years and thus ended up in a rather poor spot, and I very much want to fix that and start building toward my future. This podcast and accompanying resources is helping me a TON in that regard. This brings me to my next topic, which is commission and business updates.

The first thing I want to address is ongoing refunds for those whose commissions were cancelled or delayed; ALL refunds will be returned no later than February 8th. I’ve been refunding people as quickly as I can over the past few months with income from my shop and finished commissions, and I’m pleased to announce that the last refunds should be sent out by that date and I do not anticipate any delays. Picking up the pieces of my struggles over the summer has been an incredibly difficult process for me personally, as it’s been incredibly embarrassing to let people down and to feel like a failure as a business owner, but please know that I am dedicated to making things right with each and every person affected, no matter what “making things right” may look like. I started my business in 2019 with no prior experience managing a business, and that was my first mistake I think, and I feel so incredibly sorry to anyone whose cosplay plans/convention plans/finances I’ve negatively affected due to my lack of experience and lack of business etiquette. I was very much “taking things as they come” and struggled very hard with time management and reasonable expectations from myself, which I am still working on, and looking back on it now I think I was destined for failure and lucky to have made it as far as I did before it became a problem. I’ve been doing a LOT of self-reflection as well as attending bimonthly therapy sessions while working through this process and while I think I’ll be able to manage taking on one or two commissions at a time (read as: per semester) after my queue is emptied, I don’t feel comfortable opening commissions on a larger scale for the foreseeable future. My current plan is to finish my 2-year fashion degree and then go to my current college for a 2-year business degree, then transfer to a university to major in fashion and minor in business. I love being able to create things for people, but it’s been made quite clear that I need a real education in business before I can do things at the scale I was trying to do them. None of the mistakes I’ve made or things I’ve done have been out of malice, but I understand that I’ve had a negative effect on people regardless and I want to be able to rectify those effects and make sure nothing like them ever happens again. And to be clear, for anyone who isn’t aware: I’ve missed deadlines for multiple clients due to poor communication and poor time management, as well as struggled to refund cancelled or overdue commissions due to a fragile financial situation (part of which is compounded by not being able to properly manage my time and get commissions finished quicker). If you’ve heard or seen someone recommending to not work with me, this is what they are referring to, and I’m incredibly ashamed of it. The issue has still been ongoing, albeit on a lesser scale, while I work on cleaning up the mess and that’s the primary reason I’ve had commissions closed since August. I don’t expect the people I’ve affected to forgive me, but I do ask that anyone watching or reading to please allow me the chance to prove that I’m working on changing and becoming the business owner I should have been from the very beginning. On a lighter note, let’s briefly talk shop updates. I’m taking a backseat on artist alleys this year to focus on commissions, with the exception of applying for Naka-Kon as it’s within 15 minutes of my house and thus a very small financial and time commitment. I’m also letting new products take a backseat for the same reason; new items will be fairly sparse until my queue is emptied as I want to focus my money and time on commissions until everything is concluded. I should have been doing this last year as well, but the time management was again an issue here; I thought I could handle having my hands in multiple pots and justified it by “diversifying my income” in order to bring in more money to issue refunds faster. I will still be running my shop, as it brings in enough money to be worth the small amount of time I do spend filling orders, but don’t expect any new items for at least the next 4-6 months.

To conclude this post, I want to again apologize. I feel very guilty and ashamed for letting things get as bad as they did, and I’m deeply sorry to anyone impacted. I hope that by the time I make my next blog post, I’ll have more positive updates to share regarding this process and can start showing the results of my first big steps toward marked improvement.
