Emmanuel used to have long curly brunette hair, but she cut it short and dyed it pink. It now looks like cotton candy. (Never ask why and hair was changed aftermath of book 4) She has a peachy-light skin color and brown-hazel eyes. 

She does have the appearance of a teenager in their early teens, but her smile is something heart warming to see. 

𝐃𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦

Emmanuel’s dorm uniform was designed by her after inspiration from Cinderella’s maid outfit in the stories. It’s a blue button dress with a brown button vest, and with a signature blue ribbon as a bow tie around her neck. She has black flats for shoes and white high knee socks.

𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲

Emmanuel is too kind and too nice to understand anything, and always there for others. It’s easy to manipulate her but, never do that. Because once you do you’ll ruin her trust and just break her more (unless you’re sadistic). She’s just a teenage child. Doesn’t know any better and relies on those who are older and seem trustworthy. She is sensitive about some things and believes in dreams coming true.

But as she continues to grow, she’s forced into growing up. Meaning as she takes in responsibility as Ramshackle Prefect, she’s slowly becoming an Old Soul. She is maturing, but all too soon, she still has a heart that replaces her mind, but she’s growing up too fast and maturing too quickly for her age.

Emmanuel was born from Monterrey, Mexcio, but by the time she was 5 months old, her parents and family moved to Houston, Texas. She did grow up in that part of Texas, but it was just her parents, grandparents (from mom’s side), and other family relatives who lived near her.

She originally attended a K-12 school, and grew up with her two best friends, David and Oliver, but she did live a decent life. Her mother owned a clothing store while her father worked at a local restaurant.

Emmanuel learned how to make clothes and sew from her mother, but since both her parents aren’t home most of the time, she would go with her best friends to adventure creeks, forests, or even abandoned places.

𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐚

Emmanuel loves to make clothing for herself out of scraps or any sort of fabric, she hopes to open her own clothing store like how her mother did.

She likes to collect trinkets from people she knows, or from exploring creeks, forests, and abandoned places.

Her first language was Spanish, since her parents wanted her to learn their native language, but she does know English well just not at an expert level.

It can be a surprise when it comes to her music taste, most people think she likes Pop music.

Whenever she sees someone cry, she cries too but not intentionally or feeling sad. It’s how her body responds when she sees others cry, it’s like her body can reflect sorrowful emotions without Emmanuel actually intending to cry.

Emmanuel somehow managed to bond with woodland creatures and they moved into her dorm. Grim has come company now but all the woodland critters have their own lil outfits!

She likes head butting people. Why? For absolutely no reason!

Food review: North America 2010, volume one, part two

May 14th, 2010

Welcome back to another instalment of us eating our way across America.

28th April Covington, Kentucky.

Covington hadn’t provided us with that much during the day.  A trip across the Ohio river into Cincinnati led to a market research interview in a bagel shop, which included false names and the impracticality of bottomless coffee mugs.

We did find a sports bar in Covington that included a whole variety of rock inspired Mac n’ Cheeses’ including Nirvana, Cream and Green Day.  Now I don’t like Green Day, but I decided to go for their take on Mac n’ Cheese.  I’m not sure if Billie Joe had had any input into it, but if he had his ideas were pretty good.  The Green Day contained spinach and sun-dried tomatoes, this created a better flavour to the Mac n’ Cheese and also a bit more colour.  I find Mac n’ Cheese a bit bland and not the most attractive of meals, but the spinach and the tomato changed this.  It was a nice size, the perfect amount of a quick meal before the show.

29th April, Madison, Wisconsin.

The last time we played Madison, whilst we were annoying the students in their beer hall, I decided to ask some of them where was good to eat.  We were kindly sent to the Top of the World and had an amazing meal.  We decided we would go back there.  Top of the World is a Himalayan restaurant serving dishes from Nepal, Tibet and India.  I had the Goat Curry last time and it was so good, I had it again.  With the meal you were given a dhaal or a salad.  I went for dhaal.  This one was more of a soup, normally it is a lot thicker, but the spices and the spinach created a lightly balanced soup that was refreshing.

The curry came and the meat just fell off the bone.  It was so tender and the spices created an amazing flavour, the spices dancing on my tongue.  Despite it being quite dense, it felt really light, and I felt contented at the end.  I was left sucking the bones to get all the flavours off.  Despite it being one of the more expensive meals of the tour (average plate cost $16), it was definitely worth it.

30th April, Chicago Illinois

No visit to Chicago is complete until you’ve gone to Intelligentsia Coffee; probably my favourite coffee shop in the world.  Unlike Gimme Coffee in New York, it doesn’t have the snobbery and the staff were really helpful in suggesting different beans for my espresso. Me and Tom both came away bearing some beans.

Today’s meal was eaten and then I realised I hadn’t taken a picture.  Sorry fans, my stomach comes first.  I went across the road to Azteca De Oro and got a couple of tacos.  First tacos of the tour and they were great.  It’s hard to muck up a taco and these were satisfying and full of flavour.

After the show I crossed the street again to a hot dog place called Wrigleyville Dogs.  And though it was a great meal at 1am, it wasn’t as good as a Pink’s in L.A. The chilli sauce had made the bun go too soggy and this led to it all spilling out.  Nonetheless, after a show and a massive thunder storm it was satisfying.

1st May, Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Some of us ended up in a Tequila bar for dinner called Barrio.  As well as having a massive selection of tequila, which we failed to try, they served Mexican “tapas”, which was basically small mexican dishes mainly tacos.  I had a carnitas taco and a crab taco.  Both appeared well presented with a few extra touches such as fresh coriander.  The crab taco was very good, when were in Mexico we had tuna sashimi tacos and they were amazing.  The crab created a different feel to the taco, the lightness of the crab meat contrasting really well with the lime and the coriander.  Despite being in a fancier place these tacos didn’t cost that much more than anywhere else so it was still excellent value, and being served a man called Machete also helped.

2nd May, Billings, Montana.

So how many of you have been to Billings?  Well, we’ve been there twice.  Both times we’ve been to a restaurant called Walkers, which serves pretty fancy food in a town that doesn’t seem that big.  With a vast beer and wine selection, they have a very appealing menu.  I had the confit of duck which came with Cannellini Beans, pancetta, fried garlic and asparagus.  The duck was so tender and had been cooked really well; the meat falling off the bones.  The beans had been cooked in a creamy sauce.  The fried garlic was very good, and that with a bit of duck meat and the beans lit up my mouth.  The asparagus had been cooked very well, it was still a bit crunchy and the creaminess of the beans really complemented it.  It was pretty expensive but well worth the price.

In part 3, we reach the West coast and hit up some of our favourite food establishments.

Dream’s skin had a purple ribbon on it (everyone else was wearing it), I saw it on 5upp’s stream, at first I was just switching, because there was a lot of time left, I was on Bad’s munchy mc stream first, then I was on Fundy, Punz, Jack, etc, and also, George looked so freaking cool what? Then I stayed there and watched George training ponk, it was so fun to watch lmao, he literally had a stopwatch and whistle with him, then Quackity joined the server, and he was using that demonic autotune and then Quackity and Ponk and a speed bridge race, which was just chaos, and then Quackity asked for Ponk’s meat, and then they had fun in the fun zone, then Quackity turned off his autotune, and then George said that if then had fun in the fun zone he’ll give them a prize, and as you expected they had fun in the fun zone, it was really fun to watch lmao.

And then I went to Wilbur's stream for a second, where he was talking about fart spaces, then I went to Ranboo’s stream, where he was talking about that he will turn off his face cam while the actual game.

Then I went to poop.

Then I went back to George's stream, where they were just fooling around, I mean, practicing, and then Quackity said George's headband and wrist bands look like Italy but George said it was Germany.

Then George did a very very terrifying demonic laugh, I actually got scared, and then Callahan also joined the server.

And then Callahan killed quackity and left the game.

And then they started fooling around, Callahan joined the game again.

And then Quackity and Ponk started a duel, Ponk won the first round.

Ponk also won the second round, but Quackity won the last round and then George played sad music.

And then I joined Bad’s stream, who was playing hole in the wall with Tommy and fell every. Single. Time.

And then he said that we literally don't know how much he practiced, and he said he muffined up his first mcc. And then he was just hyping himself up, he said he kind of had food poisoning.

And then everybody left to go to the main server, and he was all alone, he didn't know there was a main server, and then he joined the main server.

And then Seapeekay gave an interview and then George and Sapnap were twerking on each other, Dream paused as he stared at them, Bad came in between them, and then George and Sapnap pretended like nothing happened.

And then Dream distributed burgers and they all went to the decision dome.

They decided to vote for grid runners, almost everyone wanted grid runners.

1st Game: Grid Runners

Dream said that he was the narrator and read the whole guide.

They decided if they had to split, Bad and Dream, and Seapeekay and Finn will stay together.

1st Challenge: Jungle Temple

They had to kill all the mobs

2nd Challenge: Bakery

They had to eat all the cakes present in the bakery

3rd Challenge: Sawmill

They had to push the gold; there were a couple of red stone powered buttons, and they had to push them at the same time to complete the challenge

4th Challenge: Wild west

They had to shoot the targets(mobs)

5th Challenge: Kitchen

They had to gather the items, like bread, steak, fish, etc

6th Challenge: Golf

There were four towers, and they had to punch each other on each tower, for example, Callum punched Bad in a tower, Callum also punched Finn and he also punched Dream to Finn, then Finn punched Dream to the final tower.

7th Challenge: Tower

They had to unlock the exit; they had to pull levers for the blocks to push ahead, as Dream complete a parkour course to reach a top to get a key and finish the challenge

8th Challenge: Prison

They had to copy a sculpture; Dream and Finn directed them, Bad and Callum placed the blocks, kind of like build mart, but the sculpture is in another room.

9th Challenge:

Just a simple race to reach the end

They ended up in 3rd place in this game!

Overall, they end up in 3rd place again.

Dream predicted that red will end up in dodgebolt.

Then he did an ad for mcc, promoting grid runners.

And then Callum and Dream went to watch the greens.

And then went to watch blue bats, who were stuck on the tower challenge. Then they hyped them up, but sadly blue couldn't complete the course, but they still did well!!

And then Rat made a barking appearance.

Niki was in the first place!!!<333 Good job Niki!!! (i smiled so hard)

And then Finn expressed excitement about mcc merch.

And then they went to decision dome,

2nd Game: Sky Battle

1st Round

They told they had a special strategy, their communication skills were looking good

Dream got 4 kills.

Bad got 1 kill.

Finn got 0 kills.

Callum got 2 kills.

They got 3rd place!

2nd Round

Ponk killed Bad

And Dream got George.

Dream had a special strategy including the lava bucket, but the lava bucket was removed so it threw them off.

3rd Game: Parkour Tag

Ponk had to pee so they had to wait a little.

Unfortunately, all the runners got hunted.

But since Dream hunted the opposite team quicker, they won this round.

Dream was the hunter again, he also got them all quickly

They were also in the first place in the game.

Seapeekay was hunting this time, he got them all!

The runners except Dream got hunted.

They were still in first place.

4th round

Seapeekay was he hunter again, they did the bait and switch (dream pretended he was the hunter), but he couldn't get George,

All the runners got tagged by Sapnap (good job Sapnap<33)

But the pinks still won because they got them quicker.

Finn is hunting this round, he only got 2 of the runners

They end up in 3rd place overall.

When the game started, they did the buddy system, Seapeekay and Finn, Dream and Bad, and they technically decided to stick together.

Their communication and coordination were phenomenal.

Well, it was just plain chaos, but I was still watching it.

It was 4 am by then

and I was very much sleep-deprived.

when dream fell in the lava in dodgebolt, most of the other teams thought he did that on purpose

they really popped off in parkour tag (Dream and Seapeekay were CRACKED) and the way Finn suddenly cracked in the fourth round was phenomenal,

they ALSO popped off in tgttosawaf (Bad did so good except in the 6th round lmao)

their communication was good in survival games, but they were more on the defensive side, and they just jumped in when there was a crowd, like seapeekay said, they should’ve just waited for clean up.

but they crushed sands of times!! (Bad especially)

GRYLES!!!

Rebuilding the Gryles Timeline expertly crafted here because I’m always afraid of broken links and people going private and losing data.

Not only is there a ton of great evidence that these guys were dating such as Harry leaving Nick’s place in the morning wearing the same clothes as he’d worn the night before, I’ve also got a friend who works in the UK music industry and she did tell me these guys did date.  Nick is 100% out as gay so it really does all add up.

Gryles very obviously takes place during Haylor, debunking Harry as the 1989 muse, and if it’s not Harry you do have to wonder... who with green eyes and an obsession with Alice and Wonderland was heavily featured in Taylor’s life and then disappeared before 1989 - a breakup album about someone with green eyes who seems to relate to Alice in Wonderland drops?

This is a little game I like to call "let's talk about Nick/Harry dates and how they line up with Harry leaving and entering the country".

06. February 5th 2012 - Harry and Nick go to a Super Bowl party together.

One Direction in Sweden February 12th - 14th. (Came home by train on the 14th.)

07. February 14, 2012 - VALENTINE'S DAY!

08. February 18, 2012 - Stella McCartney Fashion show with Nick's mom.

09. February 21, 2012 - Brit Awards!

10. February 22, 2012 - They attend a party together. (Nick might have been DJing?)

11. February 23, 2012 - Harry spotted leaving Nick Grimshaw's flat in the same outfit he was wearing the night before.

The morning of February 23rd One Direction flies to the US for their tour and doesn't return to the UK until April 24th, 2012.

This trip is supposedly where Haylor 1.0 happens.  Harry supposedly meets Taylor at the KCA’s on March 31 and they fall for one another.  Taylor supposedly goes to NYC to be with Harry (even though she spends the whole time with Dianna) during the first week of April.  Then they supposedly enter into a long distance relationship that is broken up because Harry was seen out with another girl.

All the while the last thing Harry does before he leaves the UK is spend the night with Nick and then the first thing he does is goes back to him.

Yeah, I’m not buying Haylor 1.0 it seems pretty clear to me that Taylor wanted to pin I Knew You Were Trouble on Harry as a big pop anthem to support her transition to pop.  I think it’s even possible they faked Harry being spotted out with that girl or perhaps he and Nick had some kind of agreement.  I’m not saying Gryles was always exclusive (they may have been), but regardless I don’t see Red era Taylor being cool enough to share her boyfriend with a man.

12. April 25, 2012 - Nick and Harry out together the morning after he returned.

Harry also calls into Nick's radio show on the 25th and confirms that the first thing he did upon returning on the 24th was meet up with Nick and Matt Fincham for drinks so one can theorize he probably crashed w/ Nick that night.

Harry goes to LA by himself on May 1st and returns to the UK on the 5th.

May 5th, 2012 - Harry out with Annie Mac and Nick. (Thanks to my anon for clueing me into this little gem of information.)

13. May 7th, 2012 - Harry and Nick out with friends

One Direction goes to Sweden from May 10th to May 16th.

Finchy asks Harry when he’s back and Harry says “in a couple of days”. (Small side note here that I don’t think Finchy and Harry are at the level of friends where they keep track of one another’s schedules so the only way Finchy could have known that Harry was heading back out of town to Japan that very day is if Nick told him.)

I'm not going to count this as a time they were together because I have no hard evidence, but the night of January 20th Harry was spotted in a grocery store buying wine and Annie Mac mentions on her show that Nick ditched coming over for dinner that evening to have a friend round to his house instead. We assume it was Harry, but w/o actual proof I don't want to say it concretely.

40. January 21, 2013 - Baking for Radio 1! (Tweet confirming the friend was Harry.)

Nick tells this story the morning of the 22nd about how he forgot he had to bake, so he got up from bed, went to the store for supplies, and forgot eggs. So, he texted his friend who was coming over to bring eggs and then Nick baked while his friend yelled at him to add more butter.

Do what you will with this one. Obviously there is not definite way to tell if this is Harry or not, but given the evidence of the amount of time they spend together that has been laid forth thus far, I feel comfortable saying those are indeed Harry's legs.

PD Character 01 - Popeye Sailor Man

History:

In the year 1929 (Jan 17 to be exact) artist/cartoonist Elzie Crisler Segar. debuted a little known character called Popeye The Sailor Man in the newspaper strip Thimble Theatre, which had already been running for a decade with Olive Oyl as the lead character (or mostly lead) but Popeye would quickly rise in popularity and become the lead star of Thimble Theatre. He has since appeared in cartoons (many of which are also in the public domain) an underrated feature film starring Robin Williams, doing a damn near perfect impression. And has continued to appear in comics and children’s entertainment ever since.

Here’s the tricky part: Popeye The Sailor Man and many of his friends that were created by Segar became PD in the European Union (UK included) January 1st 2009 - 70 years after Segars death. Any country that has a similar length of copyright (70yrs or less) also have Popeye and co in the PD. (Canada has a 50 year limit which in my opinion is about right).

From what I’ve read and this part is cursory, so I’m not 100 percent on this part but I’m close to it - Characters like Olive Oyl, Bluto the terrible (not Brutus that came later) and many others are also in the PD. but only Segars version of the characters anything added by other artists is not public domain (so if he had a blue scar in the beginning and then a new artist wanted it to be red then red scarfed Popeye isn’t PD. (Odd I know).

The US has a slightly longer length of copyright protection which is 95 years for a work for hire and can be stretched to 125 years but King Features would have to PROVE it was a work for hire rather than Segar’s out right creation and with the US copyright running out around 2024/25 we may see them attempt to do so.

Trademark (Biggie here):

Even though the characters themselves are PD their names are still trademarked. Trademark is endless so long as the company or person who owns that trademark protects and uses it and you know King Features will sue anyone who dares use their trademarked names to sell their own version of Popeye…pssst (whisper voice now) there is a possible loophole, there have been one or two cases that have seen people use trademarked names INSIDE a book or comic and not on the cover itself so they can say that they never used the trademark to sell the product, it’s a sketchy loophole that’s been used in Europe (Zorro, Dracula etc.).

Interesting Facts:

Before Popeye; Olive Oyl was dating and (sometimes) engaged to a character called Hamgravy, who was a slacker who preferred to chase after rich women over earning his own money. She would leave Hamgravy for Popeye within a year or two (can’t find an exact date) and the two have been together on and off mostly ever since. Swee'Pea, was adopted by Popeye, not that there’s anything wrong with being adopted just something I never knew and thought was very interesting. Final one: Segar mandated that the Popeye strip was to be different from the others of its time stories were to be complex and realistic which meant Spinach made very rare appearances and Bluto was seen only once. Extra: Some people believe that Popeye’s look was inspired by Frank ‘Rocky’ Fiegel.

A BIT of invisibility

I always read my dad’s tech magazine when I visit my parents, and it always has these science news at the end. I recall reading about Bio-Inherent Translucence a couple of months ago, and I know that the biggest dairy producer in Finland was in the works to develop an invisible milk. According to the news article, popularity of drinking milk has dropped so much in the last few years that kids who want to appear cool refuse to drink it because of fear of being embarrased. The dairy company believes an invisible milk could turn this trend around. Of course, this is Finland, so we usually get all the latest trends much later than the rest of the world, so I haven’t seen any actual invisible products being sold here yet. But it’s exciting non the less - and it’s really fascinating to see Rhett and Link try the invisible foods on GMM!

I wonder how much more an invisible burrito costs than a regular one? It would require several different ingredients to be turned invisible, and I can only imagine how hard it must be to construct such a complicated dish when you can’t see what you’re doing. You’d need somekind of special training to be able to do that. I’m not sure if I’d be willing to pay the extra price for that, even if the taste is there.

You know what would be cool? Having invisible spinach. Spinach is really healthy and tasty, but every single time I consume anything with spinach, it gets stuck in my teeth, just like popcorn. But I really want some popcorn right now, seeing Rhett and Link eat always makes me hungry!

An invisible popsicle is a great idea - but maybe in a less confusing flavour than fear - popsicles have a bad habit of ending up dripping on my t-shirts, and if they were invisible, that wouldn’t be so much of a problem. But I would get pretty selfconscious if I was licking an invisible popsicle in public. Maybe after they get popular enough for everyone to be eating them...

Ok, where do I sign up for the invisible toaster waiting list? It’s so awesome! Of course, it would require cleaning regularly, because an invisible toaster filled with bread crumbs would look pretty strange. But I’m willing to invest in one. 

Thank god, Rhett got to Hiram in time. Link was about to take dying of laughter to a whole new level, and if it had to be either Link or the tickle bot, the bot had to go. As funny it is to have a good tickle party, this robot requires somekind of redesign. Maybe add an emergency off-switch button? Not on Hiram, of course, he’s gone, but the next version.

Hey! Why didn’t Rhett invite Zachary Pinto, Quinto or Blinto on the show, but did invite Kerry Washington? Also, considering some of the outfits of celebrities on red carpets, which have turned pretty invisible lately, I wouldn’t be surprised if the celebs themselves turned invisible next. But “what a beautiful photo of Padma Lakshmi fall day!”

Ok, obviously all of the above is me trying to be funny. For future audiences, this was written on April 1st, and should be treated accordingly. And now that I’m being honest, I think the post-production team at Mythical made a great job adding the sound effects, floating toast and even the steam to that bag of invisible popcorn on today’s episode. Their skills were far from invisible on this episode!

My sims Virgillius and Remus are main characters from a book that I wrote during my childhood. 2009 or 2010 my hard drive broke and I lost everything. I didn’t give it another try but I used the characters in role plays etc.

As number 13 indicates, I used to write when I was younger.

A publisher agreed to publish a manga that I was working on when I was ~16 years old, but I was too much of a perfectionist to ever finalize it. I honestly think it was good to not go for it as it would have been very very cringey. I wasn’t that good.

During my childhood, I was eager to find dead animals in the streets to dissect them.

I have a thing for sharp pointy teeth and claws.

I have a thing for monstrous creatures.

I add so much milk to my coffe that it should be called coffee-flavoured milk instead. 

I have a driver’s licence but I didn’t drive for many years as I walk to work every morning.

I used to have fancy hair colours in the past (either black and white or black and blue/turquoise/green/red/violet). Now I’m bald tough.

I don’t like children.

I’m definitely not boyfriend-material and quite unromantic. 

I’m taken nevertheless.

I have a high IQ which peaks in logical and numerical thinking but I struggle with spatial imagination big time.

My native language is German. I’m somewhat fluent in English and I also know French and Latin (enough to understand and form simple sentences but definitely not enough for big discussions).

Back in school I took advanced courses in mathematics and physics, but changed to arts and biology later.

In between 11th and 12th grade I stayed awake for 5 days (4 nights) to learn for school and it messed up my sleep cycle so much that I had to stay home and repeat the whole semester. Guys, do yourself a favor and sleep properly. 

I have a big scar on my leg that happened under mysterious circumstances and I will never know what happened exactly. 

I tried to teach myself how to play the violin and it was awful for everyone involved.

I took classical singing lessons for half a year and while I did make some progress it was basically a waste of money in the end.

I’m socially awkward.

I’m misanthropist. I’m still friendly most of the time.

I played every the sims game and enjoyed the sims 3 the most. 

I have a thing for cat love bites. 

I was introduced to computers when I was 8.

I am a huge fan of dance dance revolution and even won a couple of contests in the past.

I enjoy pretty much every rhythm game except for those that includes actual dancing. Guitar Hero, Rock Band and Dance Dance Revolution are my favs!

The better you get to know me, the weirder I get.

I lost 7 kg during the past 4 weeks. 25 to go. 

Morrowind was the best game I ever played and I’m sure it had a huge impact on my art stuff. 

I have 2 sisters and a dead twin brother (no, his name was not Romulus)

My great uncle is a catholic priest.

I’m agnostic but I’m leaning more towards atheism. 

I like aristocrat goth fashion.

My eye colour is grey usually but sometimes it appears blue or dark green for whatever reason. 

I find joy in organizing things.

I most likely have a list for everything.

If you can’t tell by now: I’m a pedantic perfectionist.

When I was a kid, doctor’s predicted that I would be 2 m (6′7′’) when I’m fully grown up. Sadly I stopped growing at 1.76 m (5′9′’)  D:

I relax by being (pseudo-)productive (e.g. creating cc, sorting sims stuff, writing lists. It’s productive in a way but it doesn’t really serve any useful purpose)

I’m bisexual kinda, more interested in men but hardly interested in human beings in general.

I’m not part of any fandom, neither am I a fan of any celebrities nor any series. There are some series I enjoyed though. The terror was a really nice one. The whole atmosphere was just great. 

I don’t like sports 

I work for a food analysis and marketing company in my free time where I analyse the outcome of tastings. I don’t enjoy it though.

(Koki is cooking)

RYOTA:        Wow! That’s such a beautiful scrambled egg. It looks so delicious.

KOKI:            Ryo likes it a little soft, right?

KOKI:            And Ken likes it with some cheese.

KENSUKE:   Uwaah~ It’s melty. The cheese is melting~

KENSUKE:   It looks so good!

MAMORU:   The relaxing green of the spinach and the fresh redness of the tomato, together with the gentle pink of the bacon~

MAMORU:   Partner that with a beautiful fragrance.

MAMORU:   This is truly…!

MAMORU:   Cooking granted to us by Heaven itself!

RYOTA:        Mamoru, shut up.

RYOTA:        But I do get what you mean.

KENSUKE:   Yeah~ I get it!

KOKI:            It’s just, balancing lessons and work and school is a lot harder than I thought it would be.

RYOTA:        This is about as much as we can do for a break, huh?

RYOTA:        You’re amazing as always.

RYOTA:        I thought that I should learn to adjust as soon as possible.

RYOTA:        But for me to be able to do something like this is still far in the future.

KENSUKE:   Ditto.

MAMORU:   Same here.

MAMORU:   But, really~ Ko-kun’s great at cleaning and doing laundry, too!

KENSUKE:   Ko! Please marry me!1

KOKI:            But we’re already living under the same roof.

MAMORU:   See? That black thing that flies around—

Arplis - News: My 14 Goals for 2020

Goal #1 – Take Full Advantage of Having My Husband Home 24/7 The party lights are finally up! The HH decided 2 strands were enough and the back patio area is starting to come together. Even if the temps still hover around freezing at night and the yard is still in that awkward stage, we are making good progress! Goal #2 – Take Better Care of Myself.  The local beaches and usual stretch of sidewalk we walk on have been shut down, but no worries, the HH and I found a new area to walk with ocean views so all is well. It’s a good 5 mile walk so we are definitely getting our exercise in. Goal #3 – Get Organized Guess who was a total no show for the second week in a row for INDOOR projects? Yep, that’s me. The plan was: March 22 – 28 Paint Kitchen Walls, Trim Doors and Office Door March 29 – April 4th – Finish Garden Beds {Raspberry & Asparagus Beds, 3 New Flower Beds Along the Back of the House} April 5th – 11th – Paint Master Bedroom Walls, Trim and Doors April 12th – 18th – Make Window Treatments for Master Bedroom April 19th – May 2nd  Make Window Treatments for Sunroom I did get all the brick garden beds done so at least there’s that. Also, who wants to spend time INSIDE when they can be OUTSIDE digging in the dirt? Goal #4 – Get Proper Window Coverings on All Our Windows.  Working on it. If only mentally. Goal #5 – Master Bedroom Make Over We have decided to put off refinishing the floors until the late fall but we have the curtains and rods, and 1 of the 5 walls painted. So progress is being made. I also ordered black paint to refinish my little work desk and once that arrives, I know I’ll feel the need to get the rest of the room painted.   Goal #6 – Kitchen Update Something I’m getting really good at; Finding something to do other than paint my kitchen. I was planning on painting the kitchen today, but I just checked the forecast and it looks like the weather is going to be pretty decent today but rain tomorrow so now my painting plans have been pushed back a day. Goal #7 – Install Vegetable Garden We were so busy in the garden this past week! {I’ll write up a separate post to show you everything we did, it was a lot!} The good news is the stack of bricks we’ve scavenged from the back patio, the fire pit and along the side of the house is dwindling. The bad news is, the entire yard is a shade of pale green and yellow. But I guess that’s just what April in Maine looks like. Topsoil is being delivered in a few days though so once we get that, we’ll be able to prep the front and back lawn and fill in the bare areas and get it ready for grass seed. The raspberry canes and asparagus crowns arrived last week and those have been planted. Now I just need to figure out what I’m going to do about an edge for those beds. If I was a little old lady living here all by myself, my entire yard would be dug up and the entire backyard would be one giant vegetable patch. But the HH needs a lawn to mow, and would prefer to have the ENTIRE backyard grass. So I think we are both compromising pretty well.
