Also about 2-5 weeks ago Jacob asked me out. I said no write (I know spelled wrong lol) away then about 2-4 weeks ago at 9pm Brayden txt is this [my real name] I said yes. He said it’s [his last name]. He asked me what I was doing I said brushing my hair. He said wow that must be fun I said yes Brayden it’s realy (spelling mistake again) fun 2 brush hair. Then I went upstairs to go 2 bed. Then he txt I will never date Haley again. I said cool. Then I asked y did he try to get me set up with Connor he doesn’t even like me. He said I no. Then he said would u date anyone. I said I don’t no. Then he said if someone asked u out and u said no would u tell all ur friends I said it depends if that guy wanted me 2 or not but I would tell Taylor no matter what cause she is my best friend but she wouldn’t tell anyone if I told her not 2. Then I said y. He said well the thing is I was wondering if you would go out with me. I said I don’t no I’ll have to ask my mom if I’m aloud 2 date and ask Taylor (I just didn’t want to be mean and say no right away like I did with Jacob). Then he said ok. Then I said y do u even like me. No one likes me except Jacob but he don’t count. (Okay 1 that’s brutal of me lol and 2 I’m out here acting like 4 people didn’t just ask me out in the span of a few months. It was a popular trend in my school for boys to ask out girls and when the girls said yes he and his friends would laugh and be like ew I don’t actually like you but now I know you like me and I was terrified of that happening to me. I thought I was so unlikable and un-pretty that the boys must have been joking. I was also terrified to date because I was one of the few who hadn’t yet and I was afraid I wouldn’t know what to do. Anxiety started young with me). Then he said because ur pretty and funny. Then he said not to rush u or anything but r we considered dating write now. (This was a red flag to me. Why did he need to know right now. Was it actually a joke or was he playing a game with his friends to see who get get the most girls to aggressive to go out with them?) I said idk. Then he said if it was ur choice right now would u say yes 2 me. I said idk I really don’t (I was lying). Then he said well I want 2 no so I said no sorry but I’m in a club till 7th grade/next year and I promised in that club not 2 date till 7th grade/next year.

Totally random thing, I’ve got no idea if this has already been mentioned but, Percy Jackson’s reasons for getting expelled were so obviously not his fault (I get that that’s the point), like:

‘See, bad things happen to me on field trips. Like at my fifth-grade school, when we went to the Saratoga battlefield, I had this accident with a Revolutionary War cannon. I wasn’t aiming for the school bus, but of course I got expelled anyway. And before that, at my fourth-grade school, when we took a behind-the-scenes tour of the Marine World shark pool, I sort of hit the wrong lever on the catwalk and our class took an unplanned swim. And the time before that… Well, you get the idea.’

I’m sorry but, both of those were a case of the adults being incompetent.

1) Why would you let a 9-11yr old, who is known for doing stupid and impulsive things, be that unsupervised on a school trip? (like, I knew kids who had to hold a teacher’s hand (and stay next to a teacher during lunch) the entire time because they did impulsive stuff that was nowhere near that extreme)

2) Why was the revolutionary war cannon functional? And if it was meant to be, why could kids get to it? And why did it have accessible ammunition? And how long was Percy out of a teacher’s sight for him to be able to load, “aim”, and fire a cannon? (I’m not saying Percy should’ve done it, but I am saying that it shouldn’t have been able to happen)

3) Why were the kids able to access the shark pool catwalk lever? How does the catwalk retract in order for everyone to fall in? If it went upwards, then everyone could, reasonably, walk back off the catwalk. If it went downwards, sure, everyone might fall in, but why would it go down? It might hit the sharks. If it retracts back into the wall, how fast would it need to be going for everyone to fall in? Also, why was the lever to control the catwalk on the catwalk? That seems like an atrociously bad idea. Also, just, generally, why were there not precautions in place to prevent this from happening? (Once again, not saying that Percy was right to do it, but he shouldn’t have been able to do it)

In summary, none of those events were completely Percy’s fault. It was literally just a combination of the sites having zero precautions in place and the adults not supervising him well.

Headcannon: legend has terrible handwriting

This is because he started adventuring really young when his handwriting was still horribly illegible, and has not had time between adventuring to improve his handwriting.

Sure he has improved a bit since then, obviously, because he has to occasionally write a letter or such, but he hasnt had to write consistantly or often so his handwriting is only barely readable, maybe even a bit worse than that

Hi I just stumbled across this blog and idk if you'll see this but I have inanimate insanity headcanons I need to dump SOMEWHERE so here

- cheesy has one of those meme soundboards downloaded on his phone and he plays meme sounds at the WORST times like 2 people will be arguing and you'll hear vine booms after every line and you'll look over and he's just casually doing that

- tissues has weird random beef with SO many people, specifically soap, test tube, and salt

-idk if y'all have spirit weeks at your schools but we had a bring anything but a backpack to school days and I think lightbulb would do that but like. Everyday. It's always smth different too one time she carried her stuff in a washing machine and no one blinked an eye bc it's LB

-the cherries called nickel cringe once and he's never been the same sense

-SOAP IS A THEATRE KID IM A THEATRE KID AND I CAN FEEL IT

-Clover decorated Cabby's shelves once with doodles and stickers :)

- hotel oj has just one big TV in the common room and paper and knife are CONSTANTLY hogging it and watching shitty reality TV shows. The others hate them for it.

-Blocky's sense of humor entirely revolves around making people eat those godawful bean boozled jelly beans. He always knows what the bad ones are and he gives them to people without telling them

-Lollipop has a whole brand of kitchen appliances but like they're all kind of useful and they flopped and gelatin teases her abt it constantly
