Okay Smallville friends, here we go: finale time.
"And now, the series finale of Smallville" WHAT IF I'M ALREADY SAD
"Special Guest Star: Michael Rosenbaum" wow spoilers much?? I mean not for me obviously but for OG viewers. I would have SCREAMED.
Lois, sweetie, he could be saving people every minute he's doing anything, by that logic. Why is his working at the Planet, etc, any different than spending time with you?
Aww, bye Luthor Mansion. You've been a fun place to stage so, so many Clex fics. Hmm I wonder if there are more fics set there or in the barn loft? I'm torn between them, personally.
Kind of rich for Martha to complain about Clark moving on when she hasn't been around for years. "This is our home" okay but you left him here. He's had to cope without you. It's not fair to put the responsibility of keeping the past alive on his shoulders alone.
Oh no his vows 😭😭😭
I feel like we don't have enough time to wrap up this (rather dull) Darkseid plotline AND have a wedding AND bring Lex back? I know this is a double episode but still. Although I suppose Lex's scene will be short and right near the end.
Oh no her vows 😭😭😭
Again I ask: has there ever been a TV wedding that just goes smoothly?
At least Lois's dress is nicer than Lana's. That bow haunts me.
Is he gonna walk down with her AGGHHHH this is so sweet 😭
Uh oh. Lois girl, pay attention, that's not the right ring. Oh thank god for Chloe.
Can't believe they're doing this to Oliver ☹️ hasn't he suffered enough?
So wait: did Clark Luthor not have powers? Did I miss that? I swear he was throwing people around and shit.
Lol is that a Herve Leger bandage dress on Lois?
Agggh Tom does vulnerable so well. "I can't, Dad" just like a little baby boy, I weep.
OH GOD I KEEP FORGETTING ABOUT ALT!LIONEL, it's a fucking jump scare every time.
Oh my god so this Lex is a fucking Frankenstein?? That's...weird. A Frankenlex.
OH MY GOD HE'S GONNA TAKE TESS'S HEART
IS THAT MICHAEL?? Wait probably not, we didn't see his face.
YES GIRL KICK THEIR ASSES
YES GIRL KILL THAT OLD BASTARD!
God this Darkseid CG is so bad
Omg omg omg omg omg OH MY GODDDDD
Oh I hate when they take an already blurry photo and then CSI-style ENHANCE! it to magically unblur it
OH MY GOD OKAY HERE WE GO
I see one of the Franken-pieces was his sassy ass mouth. God I've missed him.
Lex, honey, you've been back for thirty seconds and you're already waxing poetic about how he says your name??? I see another of the Franken-pieces was the need to make every interaction so incredibly gay. "Yet...with a hopeful finish" oh my god honestly
Apologies in advance: I might have a comment on every line of this dialogue.
Oh dear, you can see the bald cap a bit when he raises his eyebrows. I remember Michael said the bald cap was more trouble than just shaving his head lol
Lord, it wouldn't be a proper Lex return without a history speech. HONEY I'VE MISSED YOUUU!
"that's the thing about memories: you can't forget them" mmmm I don't think that's true baby.
Oh gosh the vitriol.
"You and I - we will both be great men. Because of each other." Honey the WAY you talk about the two of you. THE VOICE CRACK. "We have a destiny together, Clark, only on different sides."
Everything he says sounds like a love confession I'M SO SORRY BUT IT DOES
Stop wait one fucking minute here. The last piece of Clark's little "am I strong enough to face this threat" puzzle, the last person to give him the courage and the conviction to do what he needs to do - is LEX FUCKING LUTHOR??? NOT LOIS NOT HIS PARENTS NOT CHLOE BUT LEX??????? oh my god what is happening that is INSANE OF THEM
I need to watch that again. Gosh I haven't done that since the Lexana scene from Fracture.
HAHA I missed Lex's joke about Lionel's heart the first time around. Why is he so funny
God Michael is so fucking good. He just elevates the tone. It's really what's been missing from these last seasons. The others are good - Tom is so good, I'm not discounting him at all - but Michael is on another level.
Hmm seemed a bit too easy killing the Prophets
Oh poor John Glover. This is Not Good. He was always so suave and cool as Lionel, this is a step down.
Aww look how far our sweet boy has come 😭 I'm so proud of him.
HE'S FLYING 😭😭😭
OH I DIDN'T KNOW WE GOT MORE LEX I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST THE SCENE WITH CLARK
Ahh jeez. I kinda came around to Tess. She wasn't Lex but she was fun.
Oh riiiiiiight, I forgot he gets his memory wiped. Again.
OH MY GOD THE LAST MEMORY IS HIM AND CLARK OF COURSE IT FUCKING IS
Lol what the fuck does he think is happening, now that he can't remember?
THE LUTHORCORP SIGN TURNING INTO LEXCORP THAT WAS SO RAD
Our baby finally in the suit 😭
Girl I don't think they just let you film the President like that. That camera is gonna be taken away IMMEDIATELY.
Oh yeah I forgot about Jimmy. That was...a choice.
ALL HAIL PRESIDENT LEX!!!!
"yes Miss Lane" "that's so hot" girl yes it is.
Oh the theme 😭 what an ending
That was so great. A bit hokey in parts, but overall such a satisfying finale. What a ride.
#i need to recover emotionally#but I do want to revisit the first few seasons#for the Clex of it all#I'm sorry but that's not going anywhere#my days of yelling about Smallville are not over#thanks for coming along on the journey Tumblr#there's no other place I could imagine getting to experience this show the way I have#10x21 finale#smallville#not spn

Mr. Scratch - Aaron Hotchner x GN!Reader
a little hurt/comfort inspired by ep. 10x21 - mr. scratch aaron's hallucination is you getting killed right in front of him. pre-relationship <3 words: 1.6k warnings: basically everything bad that happens in that episode: being drugged, hallucinations, blood, feeling paranoid
Aaron stayed unfazed by the sight of the gun pointed at him; his stare cold and unwavering.
“Oh, that was good. Oh, that was so good,” Peter whispered. “That was so impressive.”
His eyes almost sparkled with excitement as he went on, “The way you got into my head…It makes me want to know how I get into yours.”
A sound from right outside interrupted him and Aaron already knew where it was coming from. His team was there, you were there.
“You were right,” Peter said. “They did come calling for you.”
“They’ll kill you,” he threatened him with the same certainty he knew the sun would come up in the morning.
Peter’s next words though made his heart tremble with fear. “Are you sure about that?”
The dead silence in the house allowed him to focus on every little sound being made. His ears despite having been injured in the past could almost hear the door open. They could almost hear the sound of footsteps. He was certain, you were inside the house.
Peter had disappeared in the darkness and he could only pray you would get to him first. What if you weren’t fast enough? What if he drugged you too? What if-
A gunshot from the next room tore his heart in half.
He cursed himself for being unable to move, frozen in the same place as if he was stuck in the middle of a nightmare. Someone was being hurt and he was too weak to help; too slow to save them.
More gunshots followed, he thought he heard someone scream.
And then he heard you. “Hotch!”
Your voice was desperate, scared. But it meant you were alive, and that was more than enough to him.
“Here,” he said with every inch of power he had left in his body.
“Where?”
“Here,” he repeated. “In the study.”
First he saw the outline of your body, moving like a shadow towards him. Your eyes were wide with worry, like every time you saw him in danger. His sweet Y/N, who cared for him in a way he never knew he needed before.
“Where? Where is he?” he breathed as you knelt next to him.
“I shot him. He’s down,” you said.
Before he had the chance to feel relief, before he had the chance to look into your eyes for just a moment of comfort, a body hid the light behind you. He wasn’t dead.
“Y/N!” Aaron yelled, but the bullet had already left Peter’s gun.
You fell to the ground and your hand covering the wound in your neck did nothing to stop the blood from running.
“No,” he screamed with desperation. “No, no, no.”
Tears ran down his cheeks getting mixed with your blood that had been splashed on his face, but he was unable to move. He wanted to run to you, to take you in his arms, to steal you away, but he was stuck watching your terrified expression as you were bleeding to death.
“No,” he cried. “No, baby, not you. Help!” he screamed. “Somebody help!”
His body was shaking, but as if he was under a spell, he couldn’t even lift his arm. A feeling of helplessness took over his body that he had only experienced once before; the day he lost Haley.
“Not my Y/N,” he choked on his sobs.
“Now I know what scares you,” Peter said, towering over him.
The gun he pointed at Aaron turned towards your body again and you were met with a final shot.
“No!”
His eyes closed, his blood boiling with fury. “Son of a bitch. Son of a bitch.”
When he opened them again, he had to blink a few times before he realized that your body was gone. His head was dizzy and his vision was blurred, but he was certain of one thing: you were no longer lifeless, laying right in front of him.
“It’s okay. You can move now.”
He had been fooled, just like all of his victims before. Aaron knew what he had to do now, the fact that you were still alive giving him some clarity.
“I’m about to come through that front door.”
He was lying, but still Aaron accepted the knife Peter gave him and turned to the door. You were about to come in, and this time for real; he had to play along. This time he had a second chance. A second chance to save the person he loved that was so brutally taken away from him the first time.
“My gun,” he asked. “I need my gun.”
“Look. Here I come,” Peter said. “Kill me.”
Aaron reached out for his gun and pointed at the spot he had shown him. As soon as he saw the door open, he turned around and shot Peter as fast as he could.
“Hotch!” you ran to him. “We need a medic in here!” you asked.
“Take it,” he said, terrified, giving you his gun. He didn’t trust himself with it; not when it was you right in front of him. “Take it.”
You did as he said, placing your hand on his arm, trying to figure out a way to comfort him.
“He made me see things,” he cried. And then in a breath he said again, “He made me see things...”
“It’s over,” you said softly. “You’re okay. Look at me.”
Aaron met your gaze and you didn’t seem to think twice before reaching out to him and taking him into your arms. He couldn’t help but melt into your embrace.
“It’s okay,” you kept repeating to him, and it wasn’t the words you used, but the sound of your voice that calmed his shaking body down. “I’m here, I got you.”
“He’s gone,” Spencer informed you.
--
“He looks traumatized,” JJ said, staring at her boss. Peter had just been arrested but it didn’t seem to have calmed him down. His attention was completely devoted to you, as you held his hand and talked to him at the back of the ambulance.
“His hallucinations were probably traumatic,” Rossi said.
“He needs to talk about it,” Derek added.
“I’m sure he will. He has Y/N to talk to.”
Their attention turned back to you. You were holding a piece of cotton now, patting it softly over his wound. He kept insisting to the medics he was fine, but seemed fine with you touching him.
Your free hand was still holding his.
“I didn’t know they were…” JJ said before David interrupted her.
“This isn’t the time or the place for a conversation like this. Let’s just be grateful he’s letting someone in.”
“You’re right,” Morgan said.
--
You insisted on driving Aaron home and if he was honest with himself he had no issues with it, since he had also no intention of ever leaving you out of his sight again.
He was thankful Jack wasn’t home. The last thing he wanted was for his son to see him in that state.
Closing the door behind you, you made your way around his couch and sat next to him. You seemed almost awkward in your moves.
The fact that you were a soft spot for him was not a piece of information he had ever shared with you before. But after that night it would be ridiculous for either of you to pretend you were just a unit chief and his subordinate. Your dynamic had shifted.
“Thank you,” he said. “For driving me home.”
“I would never let you drive in that state.”
Any other day your sweet words would have made him smile, but Aaron didn’t have it in him at that moment. He was exhausted and scared.
“Aaron,” you said, reaching out for his hand. The sweet gesture and the use of his first name made his heart flutter. “You can talk to me…about what you saw.”
Flashes of your bleeding body appeared right in front of him. He was back in that house, frozen to the ground, hearing your desperate chokes as you bled away.
“Hotch? Aaron?”
It all vanished the next second, as he blinked to send them away.
“I saw your death.”
His words visibly shook you, and you slightly opened your mouth but without making a sound.
Aaron’s voice broke. “He shot you right in front of my eyes. You were bleeding to death and I couldn’t move.”
His breaths were getting shorter as he sobbed and you moved closer to him, placing your palm right over his heart. “I was too late again. I didn’t save you.”
“You did. You shot him, remember? You saved me,” you smiled sweetly. “You saved all of us. He drugged you and you still managed to shoot him.”
He couldn’t help but let all the tears out. “I’m scared I never woke up from it. I’m scared you’re not real.”
“I’m real. I’m right here, I promise.”
“Y/N…”
Your movements were careful as you lifted your hand to cup his cheek, and the comforting motion of your thumb rubbing the side of his head brought him back to reality. You were real, his inner voice repeated.
“I am terrified of losing you,” he admitted.
“You won’t.”
He tried to speak again but his sobs wouldn’t allow him to.
“It’s okay,” you said. “It’s okay.”
Your eyes were watery too, and he wanted nothing more than to kiss your tears away. But you put him back to his place, silently reminding him that he was the one who needed comfort this time, as you wiped his tears away with your hand. “I’m here.”
“Will you stay?”
“Do you think I would leave you here alone? I would stay even if you didn’t want me to,” you answered.
“I would never not want you here, Y/N.”
Aaron fell into your arms and you held him there with no intention of letting him go. “I know.”

Ok, so i could be putting too much thought into this & completely reading into things that Andrea has no intentions of fulfilling, but this is where I'm at with the Stellaride baby slow burn. @chicagofires & @stella-kidd, this is for you 😆
It started clicking for me back in 13x08 when Stella was talking to Ritter when he was spinning out about moving in with Dwayne. She said, "You guys are good. You're just asking for more time. " I started wondering why they'd have Stella be the one to deliver that line versus a Violet or Novak, especially with the baby talk conversation not being addressed since 13x01.
It felt like they were acknowledging the elephant in the room with the audience even though Stellaride themselves haven't. To be fair between the mess with Damon, Stella almost losing her job, the Bishop two parter, Stella & Kelly missing their respective episodes there hasn't really been too many moments where it would have made sense for stellaride to address the elephant in the room. They just need more time.
Prior to last weeks episode getting pulled, we would have had the episodes in this order 13x10- "You got this" a saying very specific to Stella & Stellaride hanging randomly in a children's classroom. Let's face it the call itself was very minor in scale. They could have had that same call at a different location. Hell, it would have made sense for the police cadets that were training to be the ones impacted by the gases, yet they weren't they chose to have it at a community center for young kids. That sign placement being in a childrens classroom, imo was very intentional.
Also, Stella asking Hermann how Mouch did as acting LT. This is a valid question to ask for sure, but it also goes to the topic of her knowing that her rig would be in great hands pending she has to step away. It's finally stabilized after Gallo, Gibson & Damon. Carver seems to be back on track. Ritter is meshing well & clearly stepping up. Mouch jumped right on in as acting LT & didn't miss a beat. Her first baby (T81) is good. ✅️
Next would have been 13x11- Stella's cousin comes to town to reveal family history. At this point I don't think this cousin is coming with ill intent. Again, this is just my feelings. I have nothing to base it off of. Whatever this family history is would have sparked a conversation again with Stellaride. Do I think this conversation would have ended with Stella saying she's ready, no, not exactly. I think it would have ended still up in the air, but the topic at least brought back to the surface & acknowledged. I also think it would give Stella some resolution to some unsolved family trauma. Stella getting closure from her traumatic past ✅️
We say this all the time. STELLARIDE needs big life altering pushes to make decisions most times. Kelly & Stella had been in this weird holding pattern for the majority of early S6, even when Zach was in the picture. They both were dancing around the matter until 6x15, when Stella's trapped with bullets flying (big push). "Kelly for once can you just tell me what you're feeling" (BIG PUSH)
Other notable pushes: Stella breaks up with Kelly in S7, forcing him to choose to be a better man for her. Kelly is unsure if he should propose, 9x15 "I'm never going to leave you happens" he drops to one knee & asks her. Both scared of getting married until 10x21 happens then it's let's get married next week. Kelly kidnapped held at gunpoint. Don't you have a wife & kids? 12x11 prompted 12x13 confession of maybe we start our own... BIG PUSHES
So what's the BIG PUSH for S13? Oh idk maybe the first crossover in 5 years. In the last crossover, Kelly verbalized for the first time he saw himself & Stella growing old together with a family of their own. And don't get me wrong I'm not saying she's going to come out of this crossover like omg I want a baby right now but it would be hard for me not to assume that she doesn't come out of it ready to have a genuine CANDID conversation that leads to action.
Ultimately if after 13x12 they still aren't acknowledging the elephant in the room then I'll start to become annoyed again but currently I'm enjoying watching these subtle pieces fall into place & am interested on how they play out. The ONLY thing I'm curious about is how or if them switching the episode, order around will have any impact from a continuity standpoint.
I do not believe these crossover episodes will be standalone & that topics brought up in them won't spill over or show up in other episodes.
Again, I could be way off base here, but these are my thoughts. What are yours?

listen all i’m saying is a LOT of the necessary pieces are falling into place for stellaride to be pregnant this season
-first of all, stellaride’s marriage is super solid right now ✅
-a perfect replacement lieutenant for truck while stella’s on maternity leave (mouch)✅
-stella backstory storyline confirmed which is gonna lead to a ton of important development. also 13x10 seems promising✅
-stella is most likely gonna be in danger in the crossover which to me is a good sign considering near death experiences often lead to important development for them (6x15, 10x21, etc.) especially considering it seems likely she’s trapped with ruzek who is a parent✅
-kelly finally knowing he’s not benny✅
-kelly considering a future in OFI, which is also confirmed to be more of a thing again this season✅
-renewal all but confirmed✅
like i’m trying not to get my hopes up but AHHHHHHHHHHHH

Hey, I'm the spn anon from the incest poll blog. I'm this 👌 close to watching the damn thing, but 15 seasons is A Lot and I heard it kinda goes downhill, so is there a "the show should have ended here" season or should I stick with it to the bitter end? Also, any tips?
the traditional stopping point if you want to get off the ride while the getting's good is the end of s5, when the original showrunner left and wrapped up all the main plot arcs. everything after that is going to have at least one big dangling cliffhanger to reel you back in.
otherwise, bail after the s8 finale if you don't want to watch the show get more rough-bad than just silly-bad, or after the s11 finale if you don't want to watch it devolve any further into self-parodic gibberish. (note: these are just, like, my opinions, man, but they do track actual ragequit-inducing shifts in the show and correspond to decent stopping points. s5 i think is the only one that's widely agreed upon.)
also, tips: don't skip episodes, at least not until the show really jumps the shark a few episodes into s7. after that, feel free to look up fans' viewing guides, and have no compunction about skipping widely-beloathed stinkers. (on skimming an episode list, i'd nominate 7x05, 7x08, 8x15, 9x20, and 12x05 as "nothing of value would be lost" standouts, and 7x03, 10x21, and 11x22 for "not skippable per se, but Fucking Brace Yourself for ragequit-inducing bullshit." past s12 or so, if you're still watching, it's because the show has frog-boiled you into a level of ambient masochism that makes it pointless to try and single out individual episodes as "bad.")

Why do u think laroyce tagged Jesse in his post?
I honestly have no clue other than it was probably just a mistake, especially since Jay wasn’t mentioned in 10x21. I know I’m not getting my hopes up. We have one more episode left and then this hell season will finally be over.

Hey,
Hey,
I was wondering your thoughts on this from Norman's EW interview, "His journey was a long one," says the actor. "Longer and even harder and weirder than you would think. He was so close to getting what he wanted and to where he wanted to be. And, of course, in Walking Dead rules, he had it ripped away. To Daryl, you might as well have dropped him on the moon. This world now, it's bigger, it's deeper, and just as heavy, if not heavier."
I have several questions about this. First "weirder"? How much weirder for the GA than Beth surviving her gun shot wound and being alive all this time?
Next, what does Daryl really want and where does he really want to be? I think what he has always wanted is someone who understands him, loves him, and wants a family with him. We know Beth understands him probably better than anyone. We could see her falling in love with him, and she most definitely wants a family. Many would argue that Judith, RJ, and Carol are his family. That is true, but they are never truly his. They are Rick and Michonne's, as evidenced in the finale, they are not HIS happy ending. The only time Daryl himself asked someone to stay in a place for a while is Beth at the mortuary. He even says that if the people come back, they could make it work. I think that France will be another time jump. He will already have found Beth, and they were planning a life together. Something went wrong and he ended up on a ship. Possibly he does not remember the last few years at first, but we will see their story start to emerge as he regains his memories in flashbacks. This will cause a HUGE wave of publicity for the show and maybe attract viewers they lost after seasons 5 and 6.
On somewhat of a side note, I saw a pic that looks like MMB filming in Paris, but the report said she was filming with Dog. What are the chances of Dog sailing to France? I think MMB is filming flashback scenes.
On a side note,
I love this, and I could probably write volumes about it. In general, it shows that how Daryl gets to France isn't what most of the general audience thinks it is. I've been saying since the spinoff was announced that it can't be as simple as him ending up on a boat that gets shipwrecked. There had to be a specific journey, a specific reason for him to be there.
Obviously, there's a whole reason for him to end up where he did. The beginning of the spinoff isn't the beginning of Daryl's journey. It's the center of his story and they're just plopping us all down right in the middle.
He went to a specific place for a specific reason--probably searching for something--and that's where we, the audience, will join him.
I'll post more of my fellow theorists' observations later in the week, but based on the location he comes ashore, he's not coming from the Atlantic Ocean, as you might expect if he set sail from the Easter side of the US. He's coming from the Mediterranean Sea, which has such a lush, biblical feel to it. I can't wait to find out more about his story and what he's doing in Europe. And more specifically, why he was headed there to begin with.
Another thing I'll have to post more about at some point is that the episode Diverged (ep 10x21) foreshadowed this spinoff in Detail. Daryl and Carol part ways at the beginning, and Dog goes with Carol. So, they may be flashbacks, but I honestly don't think they are. I think we're definitely seeing a fulfillment of what they set up in Diverged.
Either way, I can't wait for October! How about you?
Thanks, Nonny! Xoxo! 🎆😍

Hey how's it going? I don't want to bother you, but I would like to know if you could clarify a doubt for me: I saw that they inform the synopses of the final episodes 10x20 and 10x22, but there is no information about 10x21, which according to the Fandom girls would be centered on Towers! Do you have any suggestions as to why this mystery? Please, I'm just asking for your PERSONAL opinion, I was just curious about this mystery and your opinion is always very relevant to me! Thank you for everything💓🌹
Hi! Not a bother!
The lack of synopsis for episode 21 wasn't some kind of slight towards the episode. The episode 22 synopsis was released with an article (TV Line? I don't remember) that highlighted finales for several shows coming up. We only got it earlier than usual so it could be included in that article. Also, the 21 synopsis is out now!

Now that it looks like 10x21 will be a Torres episode as well, I‘m seriously starting to doubt we‘ll get closure on the Hailey (and by extension, Jay) storyline by the end of the season.
And if they’re gonna address it again in the finale, whatever the outcome may be, it will most likely be done without the proper build-up and feel rushed.
It's hard to judge a book by the cover. We have seen very limited BTS photos recently and the background casting posts give us a very limited scope into what's going on. I know it's hard and we may not get what we want by the end of ten, but I also think we don't know enough yet to draw full conclusions. But that's just my opinion. We will see what happens.

everett and grace lynch managed to rival foyet and cat adams if we’re talking about returning unsubs and i’d say that was fairly impressive given the show was coming to a close and the writers were already having to reintegrate cold storylines in order to fill out the seasons (in both s14 and 15).
I would say with the exception of 10x21 and maybee 13x01 (but that’s a stretch) lynch made a more compelling unsub than mr.scratch whose storyline dragged by the end, and lynch’s surprise escape felt like an actually consistent thematic choice especially for the show’s finale (ignoring the revival that is).
the mr. scratch plot probably fell by the wayside due to thomas gibson being yeeted off set and the whole scramble with reid’s prison arc that didn’t exactly fit, but still, everett lynch was a coherent enemy and just the right amount of unlikeable yet capable enough to present a threat to the bau where mr.scratch just…. didn’t?
he’s perhaps not the most interesting unsub - and i’d say scratch would have held that title uncontested if his character hadn’t become a random boogeyman instead of having actual motivations like in his first episode - but lynch does his job as an antagonist and *no one* can deny that the his and grace’s escape sequence in 15x01 isn’t captivating. Not just in terms of the team’s response but the heist-atmosphere itself.
anyway everett lynch is slept on as an unsub
#criminal minds#spencer reid#david rossi#aaron hotchner#mr scratch#not to dunk on the prison arc massively as a do enjoy it in a fan-servicey way#criminal minds spoilers#criminal minds fandom

"Thinking of a life without you felt like no life at all"
I fear we don't talk about this episode, this scene, this monologue. The fact that it took her almost an entire season to finally verbalize how 10x01 impacted her emotionally.
Also, now I'm curious how long Stella knew where she wanted to have the ceremony. Like she clearly put lots of thought into it. The location was sentimental and represented, where she almost lost the love of her life... uuuuugh, the more i think about it, the more i get emotional because what do you mean the thought alone was too much to process. That just makes 10x21 & 12x11 hit 1000x harder. She meant it when she said this was her last marriage. Also, that explains her very valid reaction to him doing arson cases because for the first time, there was something that could take him away from her that was actually in his control. Losing him to a call going bad is out of their control per se. But arson, ATF cases, all of that was a choice & I'm sure it felt in that moment that he was choosing that over her over them.

listen i understand why people are worried about stella’s reaction to the kids conversation but also this is like the formula for big stellaride milestones: they go through a really big blow up, eventually work through it and wind up in a really good place, start considering their next step but are afraid because #commitmentphobes, but eventually take the leap. here are a couple examples
-season 9: kelly shut down on stella, they made up and kelly started considering proposing but was worried that stella didn’t want to get married because of grant, but she showed him that she wanted it as badly as he did and so he proposed
-season 10: stella went MIA, they made up and were happy and kelly gave her an engagement ring, but they got cold feet before the wedding before deciding they were ready in the 10x21 hospital scene and getting married sooner than planned
now let’s evaluate where we’re at after season 12: kelly went MIA, they eventually made up and were in a really good place, kelly brought up the idea of kids and stella seemed hesitant. which means that the next step in the formula is them deciding to start trying!
so yeah i’m really not worried. i’ll genuinely be shocked if stella isn’t pregnant by the season 13 finale at the LATEST
