man ok so you know the spiciness scale on menus that show you how spicy a dish is so you can order based on your tolerance. can we have that for sauces too please
#im being serious btw. the sauce to rice ratio is very important and sacred to me#whenever i eat at home i get to choose how much sauce i can have with my rice because i dont like absolutely dousing it but i still wanna b#able to taste it yanno. i dont do well with slippery/saucy foods and ive given up trying to understand it. it might be a sensory thing#i am so sorry to admit this on the soup website but i cant handle thick/chunky sauces or curry. forgive me#the worst part is that i actually can handle and even enjoy some like caldereta and congee. but its so hard to tell people ill eat this but#not that.. its embarassing because it feels like im making exceptions. which i am!! because its preference!! but alas#but anyway with the sauce scale. i was thinking it would be nice to include a scale for how much sauce you want with a dish#rather than just skirting away from a food because you feel like you cant handle the texture or feel unsure about it#sauce could be adjustable without completely changing the recipe so it would be more like a matter of quantity or serving size#also i feel like i can make cool names for the scale. like “light drizzle” to “sauceageddon”#im asian so when i eat sauce i pair it with rice and it works because the rice kind of cancels out or makes the sauce more tolerable for me#with caldereta i make it an even 50/50 because i can taste it in the rice without the texture getting in the way#but with pasta and sauce its normally 1/3 sauce because the pasta normally isnt enough to cancel it out#i also grew up with relatives making fun of my eating habits and i really really hate eating at restaurants and gatherings because of it#maybe its because they want to make sure im eating right but!! you dont have to call me out for my 1/3 portion of spaghetti sauce!! damn!!!#anyway im not sure if anyone feels the same abt this and maybe its just me. but it would be really nice to have this a normal thing#without judging ppl for their eating habits and preferences. on god#yapping#food ment#EDIT: ASKING FOR SAUCE ON THE SIDE. I basically forgot to post here but I spent five days over Memorial Day Weekend in Atlanta for Momocon, and I got to meet SungWon, furthering my Dunmeshi dub actor autographs mission, and I also got to meet Steve and Jay from his Lets Play channel! Momocon was HUGE in that I've literally taken drives shorter than entering the convention center and getting to Artists Alley.
#i had much fun but i did feel like dying after day 1 because i did not know the scale#shoutout to ladyloveandjustice sorry we couldnt meet#next time we're both at a con we'll meet maybe one without 50 thousand attendees#im not going to think about how much i spent at artists alley

I like it when Kon gets cat/dog motifs when paired with Ri ngl. Especially cats since Ri has a running relationship with cats in his series.
Like yes eroticism with collars, but both arcs with the Bake Neko where the theme is with grief and the ideas of truth and accountability. And the legends associated with it itself (ex. “Cat takes form of dead loved one,” the Bake Neko as an instigator of justice and retribution in the Nabeshima incident, etc.). There’s obviously the more monstrous legends too.
I think it’d be fun if Kon dies tragically and horribly during a job because he favors humans more and that just does him in. He isn’t “naive,” but he does have clear parallels and foiling to 2007’s in personalities and actions.
It’d be cliché to an extent (but that’s more because “grief drawing out a monster” has existed as a theme since humans could make stories and feel emotions), but the irony of a Mononoke manifesting from a Medicine Seller is fun.
Ri feels like he’d be someone who’d let it fester more (rather than lashing out) tbh even if he’s someone who’s keenly aware of himself (job-related). It’d be fun if the hypothetical Mononoke takes Kon’s appearance.
#i do call Mononoke ‘monsters’ because well they are to humans#but it’s honestly more accurate at times to describe them as tragedies and reactions#the malice and despair from Ochou becsuse of her situation#Genkei and his entire 50 years of guilt and the ‘facade’ of having to uphold the unreachable ideal of a righteous monk#like ofc you can be righteous but what he did was cut everything out rather than accepting it and moving on#the train car full of people who ignored the truth in some way#(which is actually an interesting juxtaposition with Kayo in Bakeneko 1)#considering how the truth eas set up there#and so forth#outside of the rotting wood (where the tragedy is not with the wood itself)#also Chiyo obviously looks like Kayo but it’s neat how the scale just tips toward her for a second upon appearance#2007 and movie aren’t like ‘opposed’ to each other in terms of sympathy#its just in varying amounts on what they prioritize and check up on more#i kind of like twins more than master-disciple here#since twins have their own legends associated with them#like yeah a bunch of people died with the wood#but it’s less a personal tragedy than then the otherd#though I guess Shino’s arc also takes that note too then#whatever

As a rule i usually avoid mods that make the game 'easier' by effecting damage output or giving you all these cool pieces of gear, etc... but ill admit I did add one in bg3 that specifically scales the wild magic barbarian abilities to ur level. honestly its just a failing of 5e itself that they just do pittance damage with low saving throw DCs forever.
#wild magic barb is fun but more fun in tabletop#but suffers from 1) very small table to roll from (theres only like 8 versus the 50 wild magic sorcerer has)#(tho its less than 50 in the game lol)#and the damage doesnt scale so its super useful at the start...a nd less so later#also the saves dont scale iirc which is also an issue#txt

did the rough numbers on my likes poll where 3.6% (currently) say they don't rb at all, just like out of a sample size of 281 people.
so if u assume that there's 28,100,000 tumblr users (key word "assume") that would mean that 784,800 will only ever like their content and never reblog it. and that 3.6% keeps going UP.

#misc stuff#that made me stop scrolling#personal#mental health#eating disorder#finally bought damn kitchen scales#which will make things worse but also more secure#was like 50 % off so that's good#had to file a paypal complain and spent like 15 minutes#protecting my account afterwards that was perfectly safe in the first place#wrote my surgeon to ask if surgery date on 27th is still on as requested#so fingers crossed for that#ugh need to see my GP tomorrow to put my insurance card in the reader#after being sick for two days last week#imma just play some stupid match3 now#force my other 1 l water down my throat#and wait for being bed-tired
