so uh. i haven't posted in a while. hopefully that'll change? maybe lmao, i'm kinda busy lately. anyway this started as a birthday art if you can't tell, but then i realized 21 is his date of death, not birth. always fact check your sources (fanarts on pinterest) lmao. but hey we don't know when his birthday is. he could have died on his birthday. my chances are 1/365 and i used to play genshin, so i'm liking those odds lmao. so yeh that's the story behind this piece. i'm experimenting with colour a little, limited palettes and all that. also i spent 5 minutes redrawing that kaomoji by hand because none of my fonts read it. and you can see how i struggled with the cake. i think this was my first time drawing cake. see ya in 2 months lmao

Today marks the 1 year anniversary of October 7th, the day our fellow Jews were violently murdered and kidnapped from their homes. 90+ who were taken hostage that day are still in Gaza 365 days later and we demand their immediate return home. Today we mourn the loss of all those who died that day, all those who died as a hostage, and every IDF soldier who has died fighting for Israel. We are taking a step away from posting funny things and are spending the day reflecting upon the terrible year behind us. LA NOSTRA SCUOLA

La nostra scuola è privata. È in due stanze della canonica più due che ci servono da officina. D’inverno ci stiamo un po’ stretti. Ma da aprile a ottobre facciamo scuola all’aperto e allora il posto non ci manca! Ora siamo 29. Tre bambine e 26 ragazzi. Soltanto nove hanno la famiglia nella parrocchia di Barbiana. Altri cinque vivono ospiti di famiglie di qui perché le loro case sono troppo lontane. Gli altri quindici sono di altre parrocchie e tornano a casa ogni giorno: chi a piedi, chi in bicicletta, chi in motorino. Qualcuno viene molto da lontano, per es. Luciano cammina nel bosco quasi due ore per venire e altrettanto per tornare. Il più piccolo di noi ha 11 anni, il più grande 18. I più piccoli fanno la prima media. Poi c’è una seconda e una terza industriali. Quelli che hanno finito le industriali studiano altre lingue straniere e disegno meccanico. Le lingue sono: il francese, l’inglese, lo spagnolo e il tedesco. Francuccio che vuol fare il missionario comincia ora anche l’arabo. L’orario è dalle otto di mattina alle sette e mezzo di sera. C’è solo una breve interruzione per mangiare. La mattina prima delle otto quelli più vicini in genere lavorano in casa loro nella stalla o a spezzare legna. Non facciamo mai ricreazione e mai nessun gioco. Quando c’è la neve sciamo un’ora dopo mangiato e d’estate nuotiamo un’ora in una piccola piscina che abbiamo costruito noi. Queste non le chiamiamo ricreazioni ma materie scolastiche particolarmente appassionanti! Il priore ce le fa imparare solo perché potranno esserci utili nella vita. I giorni di scuola sono 365 l’anno. 366 negli anni bisestili. La domenica si distingue dagli altri giorni solo perché prendiamo la messa. Abbiamo due stanze che chiamiamo officina. Lì impariamo a lavorare il legno e il ferro e costruiamo tutti gli oggetti che servono per la scuola. Abbiamo 23 maestri! Perché, esclusi i sette più piccoli, tutti gli altri insegnano a quelli che sono minori di loro. Il priore insegna solo ai più grandi. Per prendere i diplomi andiamo a fare gli esami come privatisti nelle scuole di stato.

Hazbin Hotel - Rewatch Thoughts (Episode 1, Part 4)

Charlie gets home and does *not* want to admit just how bad things went, but I think she actually was going to tell Vaggie before she got interrupted to see the new commercial.  But with Vaggie so happy and excited, she can’t just crush her enthusiasm like that, so she lets Vaggie drag her over to the couch.

(Are Angel’s feet *on Husk’s tail?*  Poor kitty.  No wonder he looks so pouty.)

I kind of wish we had seen the finished commercial.  I feel like it was still destined to be a little bit of a mess, honestly.  Vaggie’s few words of delivery are cardboard flat, Alastor is glitching out in the corner, and no one could pull that bottle out of Husk’s claws. 

Also, is the “Now Playing” a joke for us?  It should say something like “Now Open” or “Vacancies” (if any of these guys knew how to run a hotel.)

Niffty is so gleeful at Charlie, Vaggie, and Angel’s anger when it gets interrupted.  Husk is watching their reactions, and Alastor is, as you’d expect, as unconcerned as possible because he’s Alastor.  So much for the outcome of his limb-pulling.

He seems almost as amused as Niffty, just more quietly.

If you’ve never taken the time to read the ticker tape on the 666 News, you should.  It’s one of the awesome things about Vivziepop shows – there are a million little hidden extras.  No lorum ipsum for them!

We watch the countdown go from 358 (365 minus the week it’s been, so that’s spot on) down to 176.  Six months is half a year, and half of a year is 182.5 but even if we take out the seven days half of 358 is 179 instead of 176, so my guess is that this six months takes place over a winter/spring and a short month like February accounts for the lost couple of days.

I’m also guessing it’s 6:50 in the evening – the hands on the clock look the same length to me, but it does seem like a full day has passed rather than it being like 10:35 in the morning.  But since Adam offered Charlie lunch earlier in the episode, I think that means our poor sad girl was either stuck hearing Adam ramble about his hook-ups for literal hours (highly probable), listening to a lot longer rendition of “Hell is Forever” than the rest of us got, or wandered around in a lost daze after the meeting, not wanting to go home and face her failure.

Someone make our poor sad girl a hot cup of tea and put a blanket around her.

This ending scene gets a little time-fucky because it seems like it would have to logically be a flashback.  Unless a body was just laying there for a week and the Exorcists didn’t notice one of their own missing for that long. 

We have no idea if Exorcists give a flip about each other since we only really spend time with the two most extremes (Vaggie and Lute) but they do seem aware of each other if only because all of them are so pissed at Vaggie later.

Also, if it wasn’t a flashback then Adam moved up the Extermination before they found the body.  Which I guess they could have if as noted above they moved it up because someone reported an Exorcist missing after the Extermination.  Missing, presumed dead.  But then that also implies that Lucifer just lets them fly their little spy drones around all of the time. 

Maybe he does, but you’d think someone would mention it.

(At what point did Velvette and the other Vees find the head?  Or did it just get popped off so good that it was no where near the rest of the body?)

I love the hypocrisy of the angels here.  “We can go down and murder loads of them just for funzies, but if one of us dies then it’s time to wipe Sinners off the face of Hell.”  Sounds about right. 

So much for a nice holy “turn the other cheek.”  But this is really emphasizing that, to Adam and the Exorcists and very likely Sera, the Sinners have no rights *at all.*  Not even a right to exist, since fighting back against the wiping out of their own soul existence is unacceptable to them.

Also, how do they not know that it was Carmilla that killed the angel?  The Exorcist wasn’t alone when it descended upon her daughters – they had five angels around them on Extermination Day, but there’s only one body, so presumably the other four got away (ran away after seeing Carmilla kill one of their own.)  Do the Exorcists practice “snitches get stitches” or something?

Un’auto del genere (250km autonomia) ha bisogno di essere ricaricata 1 volta ogni 5 giorni Dovendo caricare 40 milioni di auto, nostro parco attuale, abbiamo in media 8 milioni al giorno di ricariche da 50Kwh Energia che serve in un giorno = 8.000.000 x 50 = 400 Mil Kwh = 400 Gwh = 0,4 Twh In un anno servono 365 x 0,4 = 146 Twh

Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona (very first) Prototype by Scaglietti

In the late 1960s, it seemed as if the performance car world was at a crossroads. With the introduction of Lamborghini’s P400 Miura and its revolutionary mid-engined design, some thought this design would be the future for the upper echelons of performance cars, and that front-engined cars would begin to fade from popularity.

Spurred on by the success of the Miura, Ferrari knew that the replacement of the 275 GTB/4 needed to be something spectacular and new in order to take the fight to Lamborghini. Rather than move to a mid-engined format, it was decided that the front-engined V-12 platform would remain, alongside coachwork penned by Pininfarina. Quite simply, if it works for you and your clients, why go about reinventing the wheel? After all, this is what Ferrari had built their reputation on, and there was no one better at building twelve-cylinder, front-engined GT cars than Ferrari. They were not to be outdone by this team of renegades at Lamborghini, headquartered just down the road from Maranello!

Chassis number 10287 was the genesis of that new model of Ferraris and the Scuderia’s fighting back against the Lamborghini and the Miura. At first glance to the casual observer, the car offered here seems to tread the line between a 275 GTB/4 and a 365 GTB/4 Daytona. Visual cues to both can be seen and some design elements seem to have blended together, but this car is far more than a design study to determine Ferrari’s future. A total of six 365 GTB/4 prototypes would be built, but this example, as the first, remains the most recognizable, the most unique, the most significant, and is undoubtedly the most desirable.

Chassis number 10287 is that of a Tipo 596 chassis, the same type which was used for the 275 GTB/4, made of tubular steel and a wheelbase measuring 2,400 mm (a wheelbase length shared by both 275 GTB/4 and 365 GTB/4). At its heart is a completely unique Lampredi engine, one that would not be seen in any other Ferrari road car at the time. Designated Tipo 243 internally, it is fitted with dry sump, three-valve heads rather than the usual four valves per cylinder, dual ignition, twin spark plugs per cylinder, and is topped with six Weber 40 DCN18 carburetors. The block itself is based on that of a 330 GT but has been bored out to 4,380 cc. What is worth noting about this completely unique and radically redesigned engine is that it bears similarities to the engines found in the 330 P4 prototype racers, the race car that won numerous races and earned its place in the history books after their memorable 1-2 finish with a 412 P coming in third at the 1967 24 Hours of Daytona. These racing cars also have double inlet valves with one exhaust valve per cylinder.

Aesthetically, the design in front of the windshield was similar to that of a 275 GTB/4, albeit with a slightly stretched and flattened nose, still boasting covered headlights and a bonnet with a central bulge similar to a 275 GTB/4. The shape of the tail section of the bodywork is instantly recognizable to anyone familiar with a Daytona, utilizing 275 GTB/4 boot hinges and a full-width rear chrome bumper. Chassis number 10287's side profile is most evocative of the production Daytona, and allegedly what Enzo Ferrari loved most about this particular prototype, featuring a near identical rear ¾ section and roofline. Looking at the nose and bonnet, similarities can be seen between this and Jaguar’s E-Type.

Once completed in early 1967, 10287 saw extensive factory testing at the Modena Autodrome over the course of that year. It was first registered on May 8, 1968, wearing Italian number plates ‘Roma B 85391’ through the official Ferrari dealer in Rome, Motor S.a.s. di Carla Allegretti e C, noting a sales price of 8,000,000 Italian Lira. It is interesting to note that, at the time, this was similar in price to a new 275 GTB/4, but by that time, the production version of the 365 GTB/4 Daytona had yet to be introduced, this being about five months before the 1968 Paris Auto Salon.
