Round 1
Propaganda under the cut
Relena Peacecraft
She made the mistake of having a crush on the serial killer/child soldier lead character, and also wearing pink. Like, she's one of the OG characters to have a "-bashing" tag on FFN and then AO3. The other half of the yaoi pair was a boy with a butt-length braid, a fake American name, and a priest outfit. Poor Ms Peacecraft never stood a chance.
Relena is a very competent and accomplished character with her own plot lines and goals in a series full of complicated political and military upheavals. The main characters are 5 teenage boys who pilot Gundams, and each boy has at least one potential female love interest counterpart (all of whom are interesting characters in their own right). Relena is the counterpart to the main pilot, Heero. Her importance to Heero and the story is substantial enough that yaoi shippers often feel the need to kill her off specifically, while other female characters get to play the roll of supportive fujoshi friend to the yaoi ships instead. The hate for Relena was truly vitriolic in the height of the yaoi fandom in the mid 90s/early 00s, so much so that the memories of her tortures live on in my memory to this day…
she suffers the indignity of being an implied LI in the most fujobait season of gundam ever and for that she had to die (in fanfiction) just look at any 1x2x1 fic on any platform, be it ffn or private website or anywhere, she gets vilainized to hell and back, if relena does not win this fuckign poll i'm goign to jump off a bridge she was villainised SO FUCKING HARD have you ever tried looking for any 1x2 fic that doesn't have relena bashing. it's impossible. she deserves a hefty victim's compensation from Big Yaoi is all i'm saying.
Ada Wong
A mysterious and capable agent of a shadowy bioterrorism organization, she has a romance with government agent Leon S Kennedy spanning multiple games and movies. No one knows her true loyalties, but Leon trusts her. But, who cares! Leon and Chris argued once and that means they must be in love. Ada has also been convicted of fandom high crimes of lying to the fandom's babygirl and doing morally grey things while not being a man.
lots of explicit romantic chemistry with leon kennedy but large parts of the fandom treat her like a heartless monster who only hurts him and uses him for her goals so that they can pair him with a guy (its hard to be a girlboss)
She has a will-they-won't-they relationship with Leon in Resident Evil 2, 4, and 6. But since m/m ships like Chris/Leon and Luis/Leon are really popular, she's usually written out of fan content completely or, in rare cases, she's seen as a "mean lesbian" or antagonist to Leon's potential yaoi moment. I love her so much she doesn't deserve it :(

OR IS HE?
I present to you, the Michael Knight Manwhore Index!
This was shamelessly ripped off from inspired by Sara_merry’s Michael Knight Sex Project on LJ, which tragically appears to have been abandoned after the first 14 episodes. But having a) a ton of spare time on my hands due to the ongoing Coronapocalypse, b) a steadfast dedication to sitting around in my pajamas watching Knight Rider instead of cleaning the gutters or replacing my car’s valve cover gaskets and c) a burning need to know how accurate my estimate of Michael’s conquests was in my last trashy fanfic, I persevered.
Methodology: I assigned each prominent female guest character (and the occasional male and/or regular character) a probability of having gotten it on with Michael, based on my subjective interpretation of how much they flirted/made out/made plans for a romantic getaway/actually went on a romantic getaway. Episodes in which at least one character had a 50% or greater probability (including with characters who were talked about but not seen onscreen) were assigned a value of 1. Episodes with a 49% or lower probability were assigned a value of 0. Values were totaled to calculate each season’s MKMI number.
TL;DR results:
(# denotes probable sexytimes with someone who wasn’t seen onscreen, * denotes Michael’s participation was most likely non-consensual)
Season 1 MKMI number: 13
04 - Good Day at White Rock 05 - Slammin’ Sammy’s Stunt Show Spectacular 06 - Just My Bill # 07 - Not a Drop to Drink 08 - No Big Thing # 09 - Trust Doesn’t Rust # 10 - Inside Out 11 - The Final Verdict 13 - Forget Me Not 15 - Give Me Liberty... or Give Me Death 16 - The Topaz Connection 17 - A Nice, Indecent Little Town 20 - Knight Moves
Season 2 MKMI number: 6
06 - Return to Cadiz 07 - KITT the Cat 08 - Custom KITT 14 - Diamonds Aren’t a Girl’s Best Friend 18/19 - Goliath Returns * 23 - Let It Be Me
Season 3 MKMI number: 7
09 - Dead of Knight 12 - Custom Made Killer # 13 - Knight by A Nose 14 - Junk Yard Dog 15 - Buy Out 17 - The Nineteenth Hole 22 - Circus Knights
Season 4 MKMI number: 5
03 - KITTnap 08 - Many Happy Returns 12 - The Scent of Roses 16 - Redemption of a Champion 22 - Voo Doo Knight
Conclusion: Michael is not nearly as much of a manwhore as people think, at least based on what we see onscreen. Although he clearly does have a social life outside of what we’re shown in every episode, so there’s still a world of possibilities...
Detailed episode analysis below the cut:
s1e01/02 - Knight of the Phoenix
Lonnie - Don't seem to know each other very well, no signs of other than professional interest. Probability: 0%
Tanya - Some kind of working relationship as Michael Long, but she doesn't seem to recognize his voice as MK. Plus he was possibly still engaged to Stevie as ML.
T: "I can promise you a very rewarding... *partnership*." M: "Not this time."
Probability: 5% (as ML) 0% (as MK)
Maggie - She expresses regret at not going for him at the end, but also seems more interested in finding a father figure for her son. It's implied that Michael left town before anything could happen. He did say he'd come back and visit. Did he ever? Would Maggie be up for a fling even though she knows he can't settle down? Potentially but not necessarily.
Probability - 30%
s1e03 - Deadly Maneuvers
Robin - They keep things mostly professional during the investigation. Michael goes to his own hotel room. At the end, it looks like he and Devon are leaving together. Michael is wearing a different shirt in the last scene than in the one where he rescues Robin from the munitions range so it's unclear how much time has passed. Theoretically sexytimes could have transpired but there aren't really any strong suggestions that they have.
Probability: 10%
s1e04 - Good Day at White Rock
Sherry - "Keep driving." "For how long?" "Until one of us runs out of gas."
Probability: 95%
s1e05 - Slammin' Sammy's Stunt Show Spectacular
Lisa - She's definitely interested. And he's sticking around for another 3 weeks, so definitely some opportunity. He doesn't seem as flirtatious with her as he was with Sherry but it's definitely a possibility.
Probability: 70%
s1e06 - Just My Bill
Sabrina (offscreen) - Devon breaks Michael's date with her. Not enough info to draw any conclusions about whether it's a first and/or last date. A definite possibility.
Probability: 50%
Senator Maggie - That would have been subversive af, but alas, no.
Probability: 0%
Jane - Doesn't seem that into him at their first meeting. At their breakfast date he asks her how she slept, which presumably he'd know if he'd been there. She does go out to lunch with him and Devon at the end. Possible but not conclusive.
Probability: 25%
s1e07 - Not A Drop to Drink
Francesca - They have kind of a "channel the sexual tension into arguments" thing, but like Maggie in the pilot, she's probably looking more for somebody who can settle down. Another one where he talks at the end about coming back to visit but we don't know if he ever does. Maybe?
Probability: 50%
S1e08 - No Big Thing
The Unnamed 200-Mile Diversion Girl (offscreen) - I doubt he drove 200 miles out of his way just for coffee and friendly conversation.
Probability: 90%
Carol Reston - They have dinner together but seem to be keeping things strictly business. No apparent indication that they're romantically interested, no "Come back and visit sometime."
Probability: 0%
s1e09 - Trust Doesn't Rust
Rosalyn and/or Rosalie (offscreen) - "What's wrong with a little 'companionship'?"
Probability: 90%
Bonnie - They almost kiss after defeating KARR, but mutually think better of it. Presumably the moment passes and stays passed for another few seasons of UST.
Probability: 0%
s1e10 - Inside Out
(This ep has a higher than average amount of sexual innuendo, including KITT's breathless response to Bonnie adjusting his components, Michael commenting that Bonnie knows how to turn KITT on, KITT straight-facedly giving Michael an accounting of Bonnie's measurements after Michael wonders whether there's a real woman under her jumpsuit, and Michael & KITT's "Maybe I can get something from the girl"/ "I wouldn't touch that line with a 10 foot driveshaft" conversation. "Don't worry, I'll distract her."/"I'll bet." "What was that all about?"/"Biology.")
Linda - WTF was up with him grabbing her in the woods like a skeezoid rapist when he just wanted to give her dinner? She doesn't kick him in the balls so I guess that counts for something. They hug after a conversation in her room later, hold hands and smooch before she goes off to do... something mission related. She saves his ass and helps him drop off the bad guys at the prison. Do they celebrate later? Maybe.
Probability: 70%
s1e11 - The Final Verdict
Cheryl - They're pretty touchy-feely when he visits her in jail, and she gives him a pretty good kiss at the end. Odds are good that they had/will have a romantic relationship at some point.
Probability: 90%
s1e12- A Plush Ride
M: I wanna search Margo's room. K: I've heard that one before. M: It'll give you something to brood about during the night.
Margo - (spoiler alert) She's a terrorist. They get physical when she catches him searching her room but it doesn't turn into anything more than fighting. He kisses her (in front of everybody, wtf) after she (supposedly) saves him from being murdered by Jacobs. But the next time we see the two of them together, she's taking him prisoner. She's pretty touchy-feely with him while he's tied up but there's no time for her to do anything (and presumably he wouldn't be into it if she did, what with her being a terrorist and all).
Probability: 0%
Bonnie - Uncharacteristically flirtatious, appears to be a bit tipsy. No real implication that anything happened, though.
Probability: 0%
s1e13 - Forget Me Not
Maria Elena - They're flirting up a storm in their first scene. And their third one. And fourth one. Also she's frequently scantily clad around him. Michael to KITT in the last scene: "See you in two days, buddy." Oh yeah, he was planning something.
Probability: 95%
Micki - She's a little flirtatious too before she loses her memory (although he starts it by fake-flirting with her). And also feels comfortable enough to just run around in Michael's shirt and little else after she loses her memory, although she says she doesn't just meet guys at parties and go home with them (she thinks). He tells her she's a nice lady but doesn't seem that romantically interested in her.
Probability: 10% Until...
Maria Elena & Micki - They've become fast friends by the last scene and both kiss him on the cheek at the same time after he brings them both flowers (at KITT's instigation). Why do I get the feeling "Anybody wanna cruise a hamburger joint?" was as close as they could get to implying a threesome on 80s family hour tv?
Probability: 60%
s1e14 - Hearts of Stone
M: KITT, don't fall in love with one of these beautiful cars and run off on me, huh?
K: I wouldn't dream of it.
Angie - She's with Roberto. Also (spoiler alert) a scam artist criminal.
Probability - 0%
The blonde lady at the bar - They flirt and she tells him she hopes to see him later, but no indication that she ever does.
Probability: 5%
Devon - Oh man, the way he's eyeing Michael up in his hotel room. And if we're still in the pilot universe, Michael is a dead ringer for a young Wilton, whom I will never be unconvinced Devon wasn't either secretly in love with or a relationship with, s2 Devon Miles Heterosexuality Minutes be damned. We never really get any indication that Michael swings that way, though (at least with non-automotive males, *wink*).
Probability: 0%
The nurse - In the novelization she flirts with him and kisses him, but no indication of romantic interest in the actual episode.
Probability: 0%
s1e15 - Give Me Liberty... Or Give Me Death
Bonnie - He tries to ask her out, but she's busy spending the night with KITT. :D She also doesn't seem very impressed with his Liberty drama.
Probability: 0%
Liberty Cox - When she shows up in his room, he seems a lot less interested in her than she is in him, but he doesn't exactly fight her off when she starts kissing him. He tells KITT he went to bed and she went back to her room, but she's sure more pissed about not getting to ride along with him the next day than you'd think she'd be if all they'd done was smooch. Also she's back at FLAG HQ at the end so maybe she's spending some time in town.
Probability: 90%
Dorothy Ackridge - He tries to be flirtatious but she has no time for his shenanigans. she's grateful when he saves her life but doesn't express any romantic interest in him.
Probability: 0%
s1e16 - The Topaz Connection
Lauren Royce - She takes half the episode to warm up to him but they have fun in Vegas. "You do the cake, I'll do the champagne, and we'll see what else comes to mind." "Deal." Things look like they might be headed in a steamy direction as evidenced by the romantic music playing but they get cockblocked by Bob. They smooch before she gets on the bogus plane. In the last scene they kiss some more and she tells him they have some unfinished business.
Probability: 95%
s1e17 - A Nice, Indecent Little Town
KITT: Michael is... indisposed. Devon: Oh. That means he's either with a young lady or in jail.
Jobina - He's definitely turning on the charm. She helps Michael escape from jail (with KITT's assistance). "Is there anything this car can't do?" "I think a woman would be a better judge of that." "I beg your pardon?" I don't even know what that's supposed to mean but I want to believe it's something saucy. Not actually much indication onscreen that anything happened but in the last scene Michael says he hopes Jobina will stay in town and Bonnie asks if that's so he'll know where to find her. Michael responds, "Yeah, that's a thought." Possibilities here.
Probability: 50%
s1e18 - Chariot of Gold
Dr. Charlene Litton - He chats her up at the party, but it's in the line of duty. She's kind of condescending to him. She does break away from the creepy IQ cult and help Michael foil their plans, but isn't seen again.
Probability: 0%
Bonnie - They do their usual UST thing, and dance at the party until Devon cuts in. He's extremely protective of her. He talks her out of her brainwashing by telling her "We're a team, we love each other." He makes her breakfast and brings her a rose at the end. Still, no overt indication that anything beyond camaraderie happens.
Probability: 0%
s1e19 - White Bird
Stevie - Presumably they've gotten it on in the past but there was too much going on in this episode for anything to happen. Also presumably Wilton didn't do any renovations below Michael's neck so if they'd gotten it on she would have known with 100% certainty who he was.
Probability: 95% (as ML) 5% (as MK)
s1e20 - Knight Moves
Terri - He asks her to go dancing. She turns him down but finds him likable/trustworthy enough to let him give her a lift home. They seem to be bonding but when he goes in for a kiss she says goodnight and goes in the house (alone). His little smile afterwards suggests he's up for the challenge. After he saves her life and her other driver threatens to quit she tells him she really likes him and hugs her but doesn't push it further than that. She tells him the next day that it was the first time she ever wanted to kiss a man (but that she had before anyway D: ). At the end they do go dancing (and she puts on a dress because heaven forbid a tough woman should ever fail to embrace conventional femininity immediately upon being found attractive by any halfway decent dude) and it's a reasonable assumption that they did more than just *dance* until dawn. I kind of want to roast Michael a little for not being more aghast about the fact that she's kissed dudes she didn't really want to and for encouraging her to give up her Tomboy Terri persona but it was a less enlightened era and at least he didn't hit on her when she was vulnerable which is more than a lot of dudes of his time (or this one, for that matter) would have done so I'll cut him some slack.
Probability: 90%
s1e21 - Nobody Does It Better
Connie - He's checking her out on the tennis court but (spoiler alert) she gets murdered.
Probability: 0%
Flannery Roe - Things are off to a rocky start. She seems to take his "do you like to play?" at the club as a come on, pulls a gun on him (not entirely unjustifiably) when he corners her in the cul-de-sac and has him arrested on suspicion of being a stalker and/or rapist. She warms up to him a bit after he provides a comforting hug when she finds Connie's body but still gets a little shirty with him at the restaurant and turns down his offer of a ride home. She's antagonistic toward him when they meet again at the club. He saves her from the bad guys and for some reason she's back at the Foundation HQ at the end but they don't do any huggy-kissy stuff so odds are minimal.
Probability: 1%
s1e22 - Short Notice
K: Since you haven't asked, I'll tell you. It was demoralizing, demeaning. M: What? K: Police impound. M: Oh. You had me worried there for a minute.
Nicole - She keeps him at arm's length initially (understandably since she's hitching). Turns out she's another single mom, so her main preoccupation is getting her kid back, and she doesn't really care if she dicks Michael over in the process. He does get along well with her kid when they find her so that probably gets him a few points in her eyes. They hold hands after he beats all the bad guys in the western town and hug at the end but don't kiss. She's probably looking for a new dad for Natalie. He tells Natalie he hopes they'll see him again but nothing conclusive.
Probability: 10%
s2e01/02 - Goliath
Rita Wilcox - Another one where there was possible interest but probably wasn't time for anything to happen. She spends half the episode either pissed off at him or faking a relationship with Garthe, and then they're busy trying to take out Goliath. They hug after Garthe and Goliath are out of commission but don't kiss. At the end she's on her way out of town. It's unclear how much time has passed between that and the last scene but when she implies he should look her up if he's in LA, he doesn't mention that the Foundation's home base is in SoCal (or so it appears)? I don't think he's the type who wouldn't go for a woman he was interested in just because she'd hooked up with his evil twin (even if he was a little judgy when he found out she was shacking up with Garthe again), so maybe he's just not that into her.
Probability: 25%
s2e03 - Brother's Keeper
Lisa - Things aren't exactly off to a great start when he kidnaps her. She warms up to him a little by the end and they give each other a fairly chaste goodbye smooch. He says they'll see each other again and she says she hopes so. Maybe?
Probability: 30%
April: He's on a kidnapping spree and drags her to the beach at the end. Still, no real indicator that anything romantic is going to ensue.
Probability: 5%
s2e04 - Merchants of Death
Camela - They seem to keep it professional except for a goodbye kiss. Not even a "We'll see each other again." Odds are minimal.
Probability: 5%
s2e05 - Blind Spot
Julie - She's in some kind of platonic lifemate relationship with John, which may end up being more than platonic thanks to Michael's yenta-ing.
Probability: 0%
s2e06 - Return to Cadiz
Jennifer Shell - They have dinner together and she seems to open up to him but it isn't overtly romantic. They have a spat but hug and make up when he finds the secret treasure cave. She kisses him after he rescues her from the bad guys. An undisclosed amount of time has passed before they have dinner and he heads out but they do the "Will I see you again?/count on it" thing before she kisses him goodbye. It's possible, maybe even likely.
Probability: 50%
s2e07 - KITT the Cat
Grace - She's definitely flirting with him when she invites him to the party. And then tries to convince him she's not the burglar by making out with him. At the end he kisses her goodbye pretty interestedly while promising to keep a closer eye on her. Odds are good.
Probability: 85%
s2e08 - Custom KITT
Suzanne Weston - She's pretty overt about her interest in him, but when she shows up in his room he seems relieved when KITT beeps him on the comlink. She tells him he knows where to find her if he's ever in the mood for something other than "good, clean" fun, so by implication he hasn't been.
Probability: 0%
Carrie - She's into him enough to get jealous when she thinks he hooked up with Suzanne. "If our plan works and the thief tries to steal KITT tonight, you can thank me." She kisses him first, but then he kisses her and tells her that's "very close" to his way of wanting to be thanked. The implications aren't particularly subtle. They enthusiastically hug after catching the bad guys. When she wins the car show, they smooch with more "I don't know how to thank you... but I'm sure I'll think of a way" innuendo. He tells her he'll see her later, and I think it's a strong possibility that he will.
Probability: 90%
s2e09 - Soul Survivor
M: Devon, I felt something in here... I don't know, a presence... KITT's presence.
K: Oh Michael, do I look just dreadful? Be honest. M: KITT, what matters to me is who you are, not what you look like. Sure we don't have the car. So we can't turbo boost. So we can't go over 200 miles an hour. It was all icing on the cake anyway. It wasn't you. K: It wasn't? M: No, the car was fantastic but if you break it down it was steel, rubber and glass. We can always make another one. But you, you are a lot more than silicon chips and fancy circuitry, You're my buddy. You're my partner. KITT, you're one of a kind. K: Thank you, Michael. The feeling's mutual.
K: What was it like, Michael? M: What, KITT? K: Seeing my body functioning without me? Or you? M: A little spooky, let me tell ya. K: Did it seem like me? M: Yeah, it did and it didn't. It looked like you, but somehow it just wasn't the same. K: I don't understand. M: It didn't have your soul, KITT. Without that, it could never be the same. K: Thank you, Michael.
Adrianne - She techno-roofies him and the way Randy sticks his head in the door and then guiltily ducks back out as she's leaning over him on the couch kind of suggests he's walking in on something he knows he shouldn't see. Still, Michael appears to be fully clothed when he wakes up in a ditch. Adrianne is totally a creepy douchebag and/or rapist (as we will see more of in Goliath Returns) but she was probably too preoccupied with stealing KITT to do anything in this ep.
Probability: 20%
s2e10 - Ring of Fire
(This is one of two eps where Michael utters the phrase "come on, baby" to KITT while trying to get out of a jam. Obviously NBC's censors had to ruin our fun because it never happens again after this season.)
Layla - She's still married. Doesn't really express romantic interest in Michael and the hero of an 80s family hour tv series probably wouldn't have gotten it on with a married woman no matter how much of an abusive dick her husband was. They do kiss goodbye at the end and he tells her if she ever decides to leave the bayou, she knows where he'll be. If anything ever happens, it's probably in the distant future.
Probability: 5%
s2e11 - Knightmares
M: Whoa, you are hot! K: Quite true, Michael.
Cara - She tries to look out for him after he gets amnesia, but not a lot of indication that she's romantically interested in him, and he's too busy trying to figure out wtf is going on to hit on her. They hug after he rescues her from drowning but we don't see any more of them together.
Probability: 5%
s2e12 - Silent Knight
Marta - No real indication of romantic interest on either side. We don't see what they're doing as Tino is saying goodbye to KITT but considering he offered her a handshake and not a kiss or even a hug, it's probably safe to say nothing happened.
Probability: 0%
s2e13 - A Knight in Shining Armor
Katherine - She's a little young for him (Michael tells her the treasure was supposed to be her 21st birthday present so presumably she's legal but the fact that she's still in prep school makes her seem younger). Also this is another episode where he begins their acquaintance by first rescuing, then kidnapping the female lead. They don't particularly like each other at first, but hug after his "if nobody can hurt you, then nobody can love you" chat with her, again after he rescues her from the bad guy (again) and after escaping the cave collapse. It seems more friendly than romantic, though. He takes her hand in the cave but it comes off more as sharing a moment than a romantic overture. They kiss at the end but he tells her goodbye and leaves. No indication that they're going to see each other again.
Probability: 5%
s2e14 - Diamonds Aren't A Girl's Best Friend
Lauren - She makes out with him when he first shows up as part of her cover story and he clearly doesn't mind. He's pretty committed to maintaining their cover in subsequent scenes. In the last scene she tells him she'd like "to do it for real" but she's pretty clearly referring to kissing, not *it*. By implication they haven't done more than kiss at this point but when she asks if she'll see him again, he tells her "unless you change her name and move to Okinawa." Future potential.
Probability: 50%
Lauren's boss - She's kind of flirtatious with him when they first meet but no indicator that anything happens.
Probability: 0%
s2e15 - White Line Warriors
Cindy - She's with Ron, who is apparently pretty understanding since he doesn't seem to object to her giving Michael a thank-you kiss at the end.
Probability: 0%
s2e16 - Race For Life
April - He's emotionally supportive and her niece has been introduced to Michael and KITT but no significant indications of anything romantic.
Probability: 0%
s2e17 - Speed Demons
Sabrina - He comes to her rescue when Wade is harassing her at the party, They hug after she talks to him about Kelly. They give each other a chaste goodbye kiss but no real indication of romantic interest.
Probability: 0%
s2318/19 - Goliath Returns
Adrianne - This one gets an asterisk, because whatever happened in Garthe's creepy dungeon after the cutaway to a scandalized KITT didn't look consensual on Michael's side. She pretty obviously went down to there to sleep with him, and the way she staggers out in her bathrobe the next morning while Garthe bitches about how she slept in pretty strongly implies that she actually did, but Michael really seems the opposite of into her and her basically telling him "please me [in bed] and maybe I'll make sure my psycho boyfriend doesn't murder you" is rape by coercion if not by force. Did he grit his teeth and do it just to hedge his bets? Maybe.
Probability: 80%*
s20 - A Good Knight's Work
Gina - He's obviously interested and kisses her before he goes to MMM, but (spoiler alert) she's playing him. Except maybe she's not so bad because she lets him talk her out of shooting him and then they hug. They kiss goodbye at the end but she's going into witness protection and there isn't really any indication that they'll see each other again or that anything romantic transpired.
Probability: 10%
s2e21/22 - Mouth of the Snake
Joanna - She was more interested in Dalton. I deeply want to believe Dalton's invitation to Michael to hang out with them at the end was really an invitation to join them for a threesome because it's the only thing that would make this episode interesting, but Michael takes a rain check and heads out of town.
Probability: 0%
s2e23 - Let It Be Me
Stevie - She's still pretty broken up about her boyfriend's death. He kisses her when they go back to her apartment and she tells him she still dreams about him. The next scene they're wearing different clothes and seemingly some time has passed so maybe something happened after the cutaway?
Probability: 50%
s2e24 - Big Iron
Lucy - She was the woman who was coming out of the hotel room at the beginning. He seemed to be checking her out in that scene but obviously he's not going for a married woman even if she didn't have some other drama going on.
Probability: 0%
s3e01/02 - Knight of the Drones
Bonnie - They hug when he shows up at the university and he makes the "You can sail with me anytime" comment to her at the marina at the end and they link arms to walk to the boat, but not really anything more romantic than that.
Probability: 0%
Margo - She fakes romantic interest in him and he plays along, but (spoiler alert) she's setting him up to be murdered.
Probability: 0%
s3e03 - The Ice Bandits
Bonnie - They walk arm-in-arm into the diamond place, but Michael was making innuendoes about other women when she was sitting right next to him in the car 30 seconds previously so probably nothing really going on.
Probability: 5%
Jody - She's engaged to Charlie. Michael tells Charlie "She's not the one I'm interested in, it's *you*," with his standard flirtatious grin and god, that's hot. Spoiler alert: Charlie is a crook. Even after she finds out the truth she doesn't really express romantic interest in Michael although she does paint his portrait.
Probability: 5%
s3e04 - Knights of the Fast Lane
Diane - He's too preoccupied with Stacy's case to flirt. She hugs him after he rescues her but we don't see them together again.
Probability: 5%
The random cheerleader - She seems interested, but we don't see them together again either.
Probability: 5%
s3e05 - Halloween Knight
Bonnie - He's very protective. Tinhats would probably make something of the fact that her costume is Scarlett O'Hara and his is Rhett Butler. Still, nothing too overtly romantic.
Probability: 5%
Esmerelda - She'd probably put a love spell on him in a hot minute but I think he finds her a little terrifying.
Probability: 5%
Denise - She's friendly but not overly flirtatious. Also she gets murdered before anything can happen.
Probability: 0%
s3e06 - KITT vs. KARR
Mandy - She's with John. No indicators that they're interested in a threesome.
Probability: 0%
s3e07 - The Rotten Apples
Marilyn - They're hardcore flirting and she says she hopes to see him again. They kiss after he wins the mechanical bull contest, but then she catches a bus out of town. She kisses him goodbye and he does this "oh yeah, I still got it" move but we don't get any strong evidence that anything else happened.
Probability: 10%
Rebecca - Not a lot of flirtation, and the kids are always around cockblocking.
Probability: 10%
s3e08 - Knight in Disgrace
(I was almost too distracted by KITT and Michael in this ep to pay attention to the GOTW, lol. KITT's hurt confusion when Michael leaves and him being a total bitch to Michael's would-be replacement and the way he goes with Michael even when he thinks he's on the wrong side of the law, I'm *dying* here...)
Linda - She comes onto him and roofies him at the bar and he wakes up with his shirt undone, but she's Boyd's girlfriend and (spoiler alert) another hapless single mom so she probably didn't do anything untoward, assuming he was even conscious enough by the time she got him home. After she gets to know and trust him she doesn't make any moves on him and they don't smooch or anything at the end.
Probability: 5%
s3e09 - Dead of Knight
Cindy - It's not entirely clear what their relationship is. At the beginning it looks more like he's trying to pick up on her than they're actually dating. He's obviously really invested in helping her but he'd undoubtedly do the same for anybody who was in mortal peril because of him. At the end in the ambulance he calls her "baby" and says they have a date. In the last scene Cindy is leaving for Broadway soon but they're all together at the Foundation and it's unclear how much time has elapsed. Not conclusive but suggestive.
Probability: 50%
Renard's girlfriend - She's putting the moves on him while he's feverish and loopy and somehow his shirt has gotten unbuttoned but there's a guard in the room so probably nothing happened.
Probability: 10%
s3e10 - Lost Knight
"If I may be so bold, what on earth were you *doing* down there?"
(LBR, Michael is too busy angsting about KITT to try and get laid in this ep.)
Doug's mom - In a relationship, although at the end she decides to break things off with her boyfriend so she can focus more on her son. She and Michael kiss goodbye but it's improbable that there's anything more than that since she just said she doesn't need another man around right now.
Probability: 0%
s3e11 - Knight of the Chameleon
Tonie Baxter - They seem to know each other from a previous case. He kisses her on the forehead at the end of their first scene. They don't really seem to interact romantically during this episode. Michael gets distracted by KITT's contest winnings before they have a chance for a goodbye kiss.
Probability: 10%
s3e12 - Custom Made Killer
Unnamed Dancer (offscreen) - Devon: "You've been rather difficult to reach lately. Particularly last night." Michael: "I got a weakness for dancers." HIs protest that they're "innocent girls working their way through college" leaves little doubt about what kind of dancer this was.
Probability: 95%
Joan - No evidence of romantic interest. Also (spoiler alert) she's collaborating with the bad guys.
Probability: 0%
Debra - He flirts at the end and she kisses him goodbye. Lewis says "He'll be back" and she gives a suggestive eyebrow raise. Possible but not conclusive.
Probability: 25%
s3e13 - Knight By A Nose
M: KITT, how close are you? It's getting stuffy in here. K: Any closer and I'll have to marry this limo.
Maxine - They hug and he calls her "sweetheart" when he shows up. Devon accuses Michael of being biased because Max is attractive but he describes her as "a very, very close friend." Yet we never actually see them kiss. Maybe they really are just friends?
Probability: 25%
s3e14 - Junkyard Dog
Fran - He's too preoccupied with KITT to do much flirting for most of the episode, but they're having a picnic/makeout session together in the semi, seemingly alone, at the end. It's a reasonable assumption that things escalated at some point, even if they didn't want a scandalized KITT watching and commenting at that particular moment.
Probability: 80%
s3e15 - Buy Out
Mel - They keep it professional for most of the ep but after he catches the bad guy he tells her she's attractive without her welding mask and they kiss. We don't see them together again but it's possible that more happened.
Probability: 50%
s3e16 - Knightlines
Janet Morgan - She's recently widowed and not in the market yet. No romantic interaction.
Probability: 0%
s3e17 - The Nineteenth Hole
Daisy: Is that thing blown? KITT: I beg your pardon?
Jamie - After they fake being married at the hotel she kisses him before the race. Not a lot of other romantic interaction but he and Bonnie and Devon do seem to be sticking around to watch the race so something could happen.
Probability: 50%
Daisy - He flirts with her a little at the meetup but no indication that it goes beyond that.
Probability: 0%
s3e18 - Knight and Knerd
Allie - She rides off into the sunset with Elliot.
Probability: 0%
Receptionist at Gifford's - He flirts but no indication that it goes anywhere.
Probability: 0%
Vanessa Sutton - Apparently he gives a really good massage but she's (understandably) pissed off that he wasn't who she was expecting the massage from. Also she's a villain and is too busy setting him up to get murdered for anything to happen.
Probability: 0%
s3e19 - Ten Wheel Trouble
M: Hey, are you hungry back there, partner? K: Perhaps a little lonely, Michael. But rather enjoying my independence.
Sally - He turns on the charm when they first meet but things go south rapidly when he talks her brother into going to jail. By the end he's back in her good graces and she likes him enough to steal a kiss from him before he says goodbye. You know her hormonal teenage brain is thinking about it but for reasons that should be obvious, he isn't going there.
Probability: 0%
s3e20 - Knight In Retreat
KITT: Of course, there is one other possibility. Devon: What is that? KITT: The lady of the retreat. She's quite attractive. Of course, knowing Michael the way I do, it would strictly be in the line of duty.
Bianca - She seems to find him physically attractive, and maybe if she hadn't been so busy torturing him she would have tried to have a little fun with him. But considering what he suspects her of, he probably wouldn't have gone too far unless he absolutely had to.
Probability: 0%
Monica - She flirts with him at the bar and comments on what a waste it is to kill him, but nothing is likely to have happened due to both time constraints and her being Bianca's henchwoman.
Probability: 0%
s3e21 - Knight Strike
Sheila - She acts jealous when he makes the date with Tyler but he seems more exasperated than romantically interested in her. They kiss before he goes into the warehouse but it's fairly short and chaste. At the end, she goes off with O'Malley.
Probability: 0%
Tyler - She makes a date with him at the gun range but it's just a distraction. He flirts with her but it's all in the line of duty.
Probability: 0%
s3e22 - Circus Knights
Bonnie: I have to admit, Devon, he looks fantastic. Devon: Yes, in spite of that ridiculous costume he's wearing. Bonnie: No, I'm talking about KITT!
Terri - They keep things professional at first, although when they're in the car together she asks if circus-folk camaraderie is the only reason he's interested in helping her. He says he's be lying if he said yes and presumably she reads it as him being interested romantically. After his near-murder in the ring they have a heart-to-heart talk and kiss. At the end he tells her to call him if she needs anything. *Anything?* Hmmm...
Probability: 50%
Tiger - She hits on him but he's not into it.
Probability: 0%
s4e01/02 - Knight of the Juggernaut
K: I'm asking you how I look. M: You look great, same as always!
Marta - They have some chemistry in their first meeting. He asks her out when they get back to her apartment. But (spoiler alert) she's part of the conspiracy to steal the cernium and sets him up to get murdered (twice). He cools it on the flirting after the first incident (understandably, since if he takes her story at face value she was assaulted and possibly worse) although he still acts protective of her. After she helps them get the bad guys she's hanging out with the Foundation crew at the end but we don't see any more romantic interaction.
Probability: 25%
Jennifer - No overtly romantic interaction. They're antagonistic for most of the episode although they make up at the end.
Probability: 0%
s4e03 - KITTnap
Karen - She's doing her doctoral thesis on KITT and spending a lot of time with Michael in the progress. Judging by the way they're holding hands in their first scene and then making out at her apartment, there's obvious romantic interest. And she clearly has more than academic interest even after (spoiler alert) she gets held hostage by the bad guys so it's a reasonable assumption that if they weren't already banging they're going to at some point.
Probability: 95%
s4e04 - Sky Knight
Bonnie - He's pretty touchy-feely at the airport and they hug after saving the day but no overt romance.
Probability: 5%
s4e05 - Burial Ground
Susan - They keep it professional for most of the episode. He tries to hit on her at the end but she's in a relationship with Eagle. That doesn't stop her from giving him a goodbye kiss but no indicator that it goes any further than that.
Probability: 0%
s4e06 - The Wrong Crowd
Ann - She spends most of the episode being menaced and/or held hostage by the bikers and we don't really see them interact with each other in a non-case-related way.
Probability: 0%
RC - Michael is very tenderly concerned when he finds him knocked out by the side of the road. But probably neither of them swing that way.
Probability: 0%
s4e07 - Knight Sting
Gaye - She seems young. And also kind of annoying. He hugs her in the hospital but it doesn't look particularly romantic. No evidence of interest on either side.
Probability: 0%
Bonnie - He flirts with her when they're planning the operation and she shows him her dress. The rest of the episode they're too busy with the mission for any shenanigans.
Probability: 0%
RC - He's clearly been raiding Michael's closet for that sweater. But Michael is cool with it. No overt indication that they're more than bros, though.
Probability: 0%
s4e08 - Many Happy Returns
Amy - He's flirting up a storm but whoops, Devon is cockblocking and she's actually there with a mission for him. However, it's not all business and she surprises him with a birthday cupcake and some birthday smoochin', until duty calls again. She makes some innuendo about "getting to adolescence and maturity later" as he's leaving so she's obviously willing to take a rain check. She's back in the semi with them at the end and Michael invites her on vacation with him. We don't see her answer but it's a safe bet it's a yes.
Probability: 95%
s4e09 - Knight Racer
Elena - At first it's all business but they seem to be having fun dancing at the reception. They have a heart-to-heart talk in the parking lot until the hit man shows up. They hug after the big reveal about Elena's dad and the fight with Wayne's partner but don't kiss. Maybe Michael would think twice about getting involved with a friend of Bonnie's.
Probability: 10%
Unnamed track bunnies - Michael says it wasn't easy ignoring all those trophy queens and their phone numbers, implying that he did indeed ignore them (maybe more because he had to get back to the office than out of disinterest).
Probability: 0%
s4e10 - Knight Behind Bars
Julie - He agrees with KITT that she's cute, but they don't really express romantic interest to each other beyond a hug after he tosses Nelson into the ocean. Also at 20 she's a little young for him.
Probability: 0%
Gymnastics instructor - She flirtatiously tells him she's free the rest of the day, but he isn't. No indication that they see each other again.
Probability: 0%
s4e11 - Knight Song
Bonnie and/or RC - They're all playing hookie together and conspiring to keep it from Devon. Shenanigans?
Probability: 5%
Sanford - No indication of romantic interest, also she's a villain.
Probability: 0%
s4e12 - The Scent of Roses
K: I'm sorry, they don't allow cars in hospitals. I would have been closer. M: I know you would.
Stevie - They appear to have been staying at the beach house together so it's a safe bet, even if (spoiler alert) they never got to consummate their marriage.
Probability: 95%
s4e13 - Killer KITT
"Not now, Michael. I have a headache."
Bronwen - She and Michael barely interact, plus she's probably Berio's girlfriend.
Probability: 0%
s4e14 - Out of the Woods
Sam - He's flirtatious when they first get reacquainted but too busy working on the case for anything to happen before it's revealed that (spoiler alert) she's a villain. He does hug her when she surrenders at the end but I assume that trying to murder him is a dealbreaker.
Probability: 0%
Ellen - No real evidence of romantic interest and she says goodbye with a handshake rather than a kiss.
Probability: 0%
s4e15 - Deadly Knightshade
Bonnie - She's more preoccupied with Templeton. He does give her a swan in his magic act at the end.
Probability: 0%
Nancy - He's too busy with the investigation to even do much flirting.
Probability: 0%
s4e16 - Redemption of a Champion
Miss Cooper - Michael obviously has a hot date that most likely would have ended with some lovin' if he hadn't once again been cockblocked by KITT and Devon. At the end, Michael is dressed up for Date Night, Take 2, but gets called back to the semi again. Does she give him a third chance? I mean, *I* would...
Probability: 50%
Nurse Tremount - He flirts with her to get info and comforts her after she breaks down and confesses to the scam but no indication that it goes further than that. Plus she’s in an adulterous relationship with the villainous doctor.
Probability: 0%
s4e17 - Knight of A Thousand Devils
Claudia Terrell - She's a villain. When she makes a pseudo-date with him it's just to set him up.
Probability: 0%
Agent Jonas - They bet dinner on the arrest and Michael seems to be taking his death extremely personally. Juggernaut slash ships have been built on less. If he were a chick I'd say "extremely probable" except for the fact that Jonas was married with kids. Not that it stops some people, but it would most likely stop Michael.
Probability: 0%
"Ana-Lucia" - She keeps him up all night working on her car and he says he's going to come back after the race is over and demand equal time. Her response: "You won't have to demand." Plot twist: She's actually a Federale. We don't see her again after they apprehend the bad guy so it's questionable whether their flirtation was still valid for her real identity.
Probability: 10%
s4e18 - Hills of Fire
Sandra Rusk - Barely any interaction and also she's a villain.
Probability: 0%
Tess Hubbard: No significant romantic interaction. Probably too busy with her charitable work to go chasing after pretty-boys.
Probability: 0%
s4e19 - Knight Flight to Freedom
Lisa - Too busy dealing with a revolution for any shenanigans.
Probability: 0%
s4e20 - Fright Night
Karen - They keep things mostly professional but she buys him lunch at the end. No real indicator that it ends in anything romantic, though.
Probability: 5%
Liz - They flirt a little when he interviews her ("I appreciate your interest." "I'm interested!") but it doesn't really go anywhere.
Probability: 5%
s4e21 - Knight of the Rising Sun
N/A - No female guest characters and nothing particularly shippy with Bonnie.
Probability: 0%
s4e22 - Voo Doo Knight
Harana - She's a little flirtatious at the party. When she puts one of her zombifying earrings on him, she gets a little touchy-feely and tells him they could have had a future together but there are two of her goons in the room and she's sending him to the soon-to-be-demolished building so she probably doesn't have time to take advantage of him even if she wanted to do it with an audience.
Probability: 0%
Elizabeth - Michael nudges Devon into letting her stay an extra few days, and she seems pretty good with that. We don't see them kiss but they're engaged in a pretty intense hug at the end.
Probability: 90%

35 Questions for Fanfic Writers
Thanks @bachint for tagging me! I’ll try to provide you with the best answers I can come up with ^^
1. From one to five stars, how would you rate your writing? (No downplaying yourself!) Probably three stars, maybe four? Yeah, four. I know it seems arrogant but aside from the occasional “OMG EVERYTHING I WRITE IS CRAP!” that ever writer experiences from time to time, I usually like what I’m writing and especially how I write ^^
2. Why do you write fanfiction? Bc I love exploring the universes and characters I love further. Ehy accept the canon as it is? ;D
3. What do you think makes your writing stand out from other works? Puuh, that’s a hard one? Maybe that I like to kill a bunch of characters? :D Naah, it’s probably the length of what I write. Once I get started I can’t seem to stop.
4. Are there any writers that inspire you? Since I study literature and read a bunch of books for it, absolutely. It can be any book from any author I read. But Arthur Conan Doyle inspires me a lot, Simon Beckett and Paulo Coelho.
5. What’s the fic you’re most proud of? My Professor Layton fanfic “The Cogs of Time” ^^
6. What element of writing do you find comes easily? The start. I hear a lot of people say this is the hardest and in some ways I agree with them. But I usually just start writing and go with the flow. Or I immediately have the beginning of a story/chapter in my mind once I start thinking about it.
7. What element of writing do you struggle with most? Writing believable dialogue between parents and their kids. I’m fine as long as the kids are little (let’s say up to 8, maybe 10), but then I’m stumped.
8. Which character(s) do you find easiest to write? Like in general or specific characters? I can write any characters as long as they are not parents. Then I have a bit of a problem.
9. Which character(s) do you find most difficult to write? Ah. Okay. Tying in with (7) here, parents (:
10. What’s your favorite genre to write for? To write for? Hm... probably adventure, crime fiction/detective fiction and Young Adult? I don’t know, I like a quite realistic approach that can and will take a dark turn.
11. Who or what do you find yourself writing about most? About the world. About what’s wrong. About relationships that took a wrong turn, about things that are almost right, about figure skating (big fan!), about growing up, about changing.
12. Tell us about a WIP you’re excited about. Currently, I’m absolutely excited about my Layton Brothers; Mystery Room fanfic “A Game of Murder”! I’m SO close to the ending and I can’t wait to solve the murder and finally reveal the killer! Everyone will hate me XD
13. First fandom you ever wrote for? Disney’s “Frozen”
14. What’s your favorite fandom to write for? That changes according to my current obsession. At the moment, my favourite fandoms are Professor Layton and Pokemon.
15. What’s the weirdest fandom you’ve ever written for? Weird in what way? I don’t believe in that concept, sorry :)
16. Any guilty pleasure trope(s)? Does murdering characters I and the audience love count? Then it’s that XD
17. A trope you’ll never, ever write for. Probably more of a genre but romance. If romance is the main plot/trope I’m off. If it is a sub plot that’s interesting AND supports the story in some way, I will take a look.
18. Wildest fic you’ve ever written? Probably also “Cogs of Time”. So much death in the end that no one expected, so much heartbreak. I admit, I indeed was a bit of an asshole with that last chapter XD
19. Do you prefer canon-compliant, AUs, or something in-between? I like giving the canon a little twist and AUs ^^
20. Gen fic or shippy stuff? Gen. If it’s shippy, then it’s usually just something short. Like I said, I’m not one for romance.
21. Favorite pairing to write for? (platonic or romantic!) That also depends on my current obsession. At the moment, that would be LayClaire and Lemmy (both romantic, both Professor Layton) and Lucifendi (platonic and romantic, Layton Brothers; Mystery Room). And any Pokemon couple for friendship ^^
22. Do you listen to anything while you write? MUSIC! Always!!
23. Do you prefer prompts and challenges, or completely independent ideas? independent ideas. But I often find myself including a line I’ve read as a prompt somewhere or making it the theme of a chapter.
24. One-shots or multi-chaptered works? Multi-chapter works.
25. Have you ever daydreamed about side adventures/spin-offs from your fic?Tell us about them! I have dreamt about my fics being movies or TV series, but spin-offs? If I want a spin-off I write it :D
26. Is there anything you’ve wanted to write, but you’ve been too scared to try? So far, nope. As Margaret Atwood once said, “The paper basket is your friend. It was invented for you by God.”
27. What’s the nicest comment you’ve ever received? Someone saying I made their day with my writing :) I love to make people happy!”
28. How well do you handle criticism when it comes to your writing? It does hurt but I know people want to help so I try to be open to it and look back into the part that was given critic.
29. Have you ever gone outside of your comfort zone for a fic? How did it turn out? I always do that when I have to write interaction between parents and older children. I always feel like it’s very stiff but my friends say it’s okay. Well.
30. Tooth-rotting fluff or merciless angst? MERCILESS ANGST ALL THE WAY.
31. Do you have any OCs? Tell us about them! Yep! I once created a Professor Layton OC whom was the dead (well, we never really got to know if she was indeed dead, she has just vanished) daughter of a character. She was instead just kidnapped by the criminal organisation her father was fighting and trained to be one of their soldiers. I never write the fanfic but it never left my mind. Might do that one day :)
32. Summarize a random fic of yours in 10 words or less. “Let’s play my favourite game. A game of murder.”
33. Is there anything you wish your audience knew about your writing or writing process? That I put as much effort in as I can to make it as good as possible fir you guys!! And that I usually do a lot of research and put the most effort into the tiniest things to make it realistic and add another layer to make it a shade darker ;D
34. Copy and paste an excerpt you’re particularly fond of. I’m really proud of this but it’s not a fanfic. I hope that’s okay. I can’t really think of one thing that I’m proud of bc there are many. It’ from the book I’m currently writing.
He let go of him so suddenly that the cold hit him like a brick. Mikhail gasped for air, needed a few seconds until he could open his eyes again. The view was heaven-sent. Vasja was standing above him, the gaze of his icy blue eyes troubled yet so piercing and captivating that Mikhail found himself sitting up without another thought as if someone had turned him into a puppet. At times, he felt as if Vasja was the great puppet master who made Mikhail’s entire world dance as he liked. And he loved dancing for Vasja. The gaze of his icy blue eyes contrasted with his ruby red hair which surrounded his face like a bloody halo; it made his snow white skin glow even more. He remembered the feeling of Vasja’s hair between his fingers, as soft as velvet, as clouds, as a mild breeze o fair on one oft he first days of spring. He reached out for Vasja but he was quick to grab the boy’s hands and place them low on his stomach. A shudder ran down Mikhail’s spine when he felt Vasja’s finger travel across his arms until they cupped his face. He lifted it so Mikhail had to look at him. „You know the rules, right, Micky?“
35. Ramble about any fic-related thing you want! Like, it’s so amazing?? You get millions of words for FREE and the authors don’t get ANYTHING but STILL we have this amazing community who keeps writing and reading and commenting... It’s just AWESOME!! I’m so glad I discovered fanfiction bc the community is so awesome and I always wanted to give some canons a good twist or just think of new things with characters I love!!

1 2 3 4 5 for 3 of your ocs?
i’m sorry, i’m bad at picking OCs. I just threw the ones I didn’t do for this ask meme yet into a randomizer, i hope that’s alright!
(01) Is your OC in love? If so, with whom, and for how long?
Malek fell for Alejo the very minute he saw him. This isn’t exaggerated talk, either. In his setting, vampirism comes with different strains and weaknesses, and the weakness of his clan just happens to be “They are often overcome by the beauty they see around them and can become immobilized with fascination.” He lost his heart to that boy the second he laid his eyes on him and he wasn’t even aware of it.OTP Tag: To Bring Me Love
Hafiz has been in love with Aidan ever since it became clear to him that him and his ex-wife just don’t work out anymore. For Aidan and Hafiz it started like your usual “No Strings Attached” relationship, but Hafiz quickly fell for their charm and ever since the day Aidan asked him to stay at their place, they’ve been inseparable.OTP Tag: When Roses Bloom
Revaz has been told he’s a burden and unlovable for all his life, so when Zaria came into it not giving a damn about other people’s opinions on him, it was only a question of time for him to fall for her. Similar to that, he fell for Ben because there’s a deep understanding about their respective conditions, they get each other on a level no one else could ever comprehend. If he ever were to lose any of them, his mental health would take a big hit and I don’t think he could ever recover from that.OTP Tags for the three of them don’t exist yet
(02) Does another OC love your OC? If so, whom, and does your OC know?
Alejo ran into Malek years before they actually got to talk and although Malek didn’t remember him, Alejo held onto his face imagining what kind of person he’d be. When he was attacked, and saved from certain death by Malek, he couldn’t pass up that chance. Even if he’s convinced fate is bullshit.
To Aidan, Hafiz was just a time killer for months. But over time they found themself wanting something more and their “strong arms, strong mind, I wanna be that strong, he can help me be that strong, I can totally throw him out when I’m done with him” mindset slowly turned into love. They simply never ended up being done with him.
Zaria fell for Rev in a classic “see him from across the room, slow motion acting like a fool, dance half the night away and finally kiss on that dance floor” manner.Meanwhile Ben loves him in the sense of extreme appreciation and attachment. He can never get to what other people might consider “love”, but it’s so so so close to it. If Rev was taken away from him, that would be like taking his heart away.
(03) Are there any romantic gestures that your OC loves?
Malek loves being physically intimate. It’s a “naked as we came, no secrets between us, only you and me exisiting for each other at this moment” thing for him. There’s one thing about his body he’s very uncomfortable talking about, so if someone just accepts that part of him as “a part of him and that’s that”, that’s something he really values.
Hafiz really likes being acknowledged. Because of his profession, he’s confronted with violence every other day, and people tend to just take his strength for granted. He’s all the more grateful if someone takes the time out of their day to l i s t e n and be there for him, even if it’s only just for a short while.
Rev likes being hit with the occasional reminder that he was on someone’s mind. He doesn’t need grand gestures or displays of love. Just needs to know he’s appreciated at the very least.
(04) Are there any romantic gestures that your OC hates?
None, for either of them, really. All three of them are very much into the “make your feelings loud and clear, and don’t ever turn your partners away by being distant” thing, so you’d never hear them complain about what their partners did for them.
(05) What is the most romantic thing your OC has done for someone else?
Malek recreated their entire first date with Alejo for one of their Valentine Days, despite always being low on money. An evening that was in the planning for months, and he made sure not to miss a single detail. It might not be unique or overly creative, but it was a nice callback to a time where everything was still very uncertain, only this time it wasn’t and it’s proof of how far along they’ve come eventually.
Hafiz’ proposal was probably the most romantic thing he did for Aidan. He took all their interests into consideration and really went for the “I’m going to surprise them in a relaxed setting” thing there, only what he didn’t take into consideration was Aidan and their obliviousness, so it ended up being a very funny ordeal. But they agreed and that’s all he ever wanted and it’s one of his fondest memories.
For Revaz that’s probably reuniting Zaria with her parents after 20 years of them being separated. There’s little moments, where he plays the piano for her or puts her before others, but those are hardly the “most romantic” things he did for her. With Ben, that was when he rallied a stronger vampire behind him to help him save Ben’s life when he sensed his pain and fear. He’d die for him and he’d kill for him without hesitation and that will never change.
again, thanks for the ask and sorry for my late answer! there was a lot i had to take care of the past weeks and only now do i have the time to get back to all the asks i’ve received. thanks for sending them in anyway, they’re the kinda distraction i could very much use atm!
questions came from here

Once she found out. Im sorry for the long ass rant I just wanted to vent.
*~* (continued) addressed in the show which is really dumb. Ether way Bloom shouldn’t have openly flirted and kissed Andy while she was dating Sky(see episode 4,6,18). Next I want to talk about StellaxBrandon. So Mitzy kisses Brandon on the cheek and Stella gets upset and accused him of cheating. Now what I don’t understand is how this couple, who openly flirted with other people as a fun game (see season 2 episode 8) suddenly one of them can’t at least listen to both sides of the situation.
*~* (continued) And Finally....MusaxRiven..xJason. This couple is annoying. Now Riven was in the wrong for getting bitchy with Andy and his crew, however you can understand his anger toward Jason. You’re not supposed to be on a first name bases with your boss, whom you just met. Further more after Musa and Riven break up her dumbass thinks that Jason had a thing for her even though he was engaged to someone else. But what really GRINDS MY GEARS is that she wanted to go crawling back to Riven
***
I feel like I’m missing chunks of this rant and I have no idea where they are. Regardless, I also have been displeased by how relationships were handled in the show. However, because I’m a happy ace who, while not aro, is not yet interested in a romantic relationship, I’ve got no idea how I can write realistic relationships. But I’ll try to make the Reversed relationships reasonable, and I’m relying on my readers (and my extensive if inaccurate fiction- and fanfiction-based understanding) to keep me honest! TBH I’m bad with emotions in general, so I’m really gonna need your help when the relationships come in to play. I know that there are lots of ranges in relationships such as sexual intimacy, non-sexual physical intimacy, emotional intimacy, and all sorts of other things, from cuteness to seriously messed up stuff, but I’ve experienced none of it, so HELP.
Anyhow, my emotional and relationship constipation aside, here are my ideas for the Reversed relationships.
Bloom and Sky - tbh I never liked this couple as much as some of the others. Sky gets possessive and I can’t stand that, and Bloom can be pretty nasty to Diaspro (not that Diaspro isn’t asking for it half the time in the show). My goal with this relationship is really to underscore the difference between a commoner-raised, liberal-minded girl and a noble-raised, more conservative boy, and how the two sides can balance each other out. I want sweetness, awkwardness, cultural disconnect, and all sorts of other things.
Stella and Brandon - I always found these guys pretty wholesome in the classic seasons (1-4), even if Stella was a bit much a lot of the time. In Reversed, however, Stella is sharp AF and just plays blond ditz. So expect both cuteness and intellectual conversations. If I were to give my Stella a Hogwarts house, she’d be Slytherin all the way, while Brandon would be a Hufflepuff. His loyalty and chill is the perfect balance for her determination and drive. I also want them to have a healthy open relationship, where they can flirt and sleep with whoever, or even bring home someone to share, while still knowing that they are the only two for each other.
Aisha and ? - I’m only really familiar with classic (5 made me sad, 6 I didn’t watch all the way through even though I wanted to, and 7 I couldn’t even try), so... yeah. Despite her tough exterior, Aisha is actually quite insecure, so whoever she’s with will have to work to get her to be emotionally open. However, this girl will take care of and support her partner with her life, and she’ll grow to let her heart be vulnerable eventually.
Flora and Helia - these two have historically been my favorite couple! It may be because my aesthetic is pretty boys and Helia is very much my type. Anyhow, these two will be super wholesome and emotionally supportive, and this will all be in the face of Flora being one half cold-blooded killer and one half supportive potioneer, while Helia is a pacifist. I guess they’ll go through some trials and tribulations in coming to terms with who they are as people, but it’ll end up good for them, I promise!
Tecna and Timmy - I always found these guys blah in classic, and I want them to be completely not that in this. I imagine Timmy as getting over his awkward quickly with my Tecna, who just does not have a concept of what awkward is. He’ll teach her what he knows about interaction, and she’ll teach him directness and confidence. Anyhow, my inspiration for my Tecna was Sherlock from the recent BBC show, so Timmy will grow to be the John that tempers and complements her.
Musa and Riven - I’ve historically had problems with this relationship because Riven is generally an ass in canon. I mean, if I’m remembering right he did mature a bit from 1 to 4, but then ownership changed and in 5 and 6 he was back to being annoying. Anyway, there will be none of that Reversed. My Riven doesn’t start respecting women, that’s for sure, but my Musa is no teary-eyed pushover either. They’ll be a slow burn, starting as friends because both have backgrounds that don’t let them trust enough to jump into a relationship. They’ll earn each other’s respect and start caring about each other more deeply, and then they’ll be in a relationship without even noticing the dynamic change or making it official.

Best New Horror Movies on Netflix: Winter 2018
There's an overwhelming amount of horror movies to sift through on Netflix, so I've decided to take out some of the legwork by compiling a list of the season’s best new genre titles available on Netflix’s instant streaming service.
Please feel free to leave a comment with any I may have missed and share your thoughts on any of the films you watch. You can also peruse past installments of Best New Horror Moves on Netflix for more suggestions.
1. Gerald's Game
IT was undoubtedly the most entertaining Stephen King adaptation in recent memory, but Gerald's Game may be the most tense. The novel - which revolves around a middle-aged married couple's attempt to spice up their love life - was seemingly un-filmable, but director Mike Flanagan (Oculus, Ouija: Origin of Evil) takes a creative yet logical approach to successfully translate the story from the page to the screen. The direction is stylish, despite largely involving only two actors in a single bedroom. Carla Gugino (Watchmen) and Bruce Greenwood (Star Trek) star, both delivering brilliant performances, with Henry Thomas (E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial) and Carel Struycken (The Addams Family) in chilling supporting roles. Its left-field epilogue won't work for some, but the film remains a suspenseful, dead-filled experience that includes perhaps the most cringe-inducing sequence of the year.
2. 1922
1922 is an adaptation of a little-known Stephen King novella, published in his 2010 collection, Full Dark, No Stars. Like much of King's work, it doesn't shy away from the supernatural, yet it's firmly grounded in reality. The always-reliable Thomas Jane delivers a transformative performance in his third King film (following Dreamcatcher and The Mist). He stars as Wilfred James, a conflicted man who confesses to murdering his wife (Molly Parker. Deadwood) with the aid of his son (Dylan Schmid, Once Upon a Time) in 1922. Akin to Edgar Allan Poe's "The Tell-Tale Heart," Wilfred's unbearable guilt manifests itself. Cinematographer Ben Richardson (The Fault in Our Stars) utilizes a lot of natural light, while Faith No More's Mike Patton composes an atonal score. Writer-director Zak Hilditch (whose previous film, These Final Hours, is also worth seeking out) delivers a brooding, character-driven slow burner.
3. Raw
Raw made waves on the festival circuit when it caused multiple viewers to faint. It is indeed a uniquely repulsive film in more ways than one might expect - depicting everything from animal dissecting to bikini waxing to eye licking in graphic detail - but it's much more than a mindless gorefest. The French film is a compelling, darkly humorous coming-of-age story... with cannibalism. The plot revolves around Justine (Garance Marillier), a young vegetarian, as she enters her first semester at veterinary school. She receives the full college experience: hazing, coed living, experimentation, partying, flesh eating. Marillier's fearless performance is matched by a strong vision from writer-director Julia Ducournau.
4. Super Dark Times
From the first act of Super Dark Times, you might expect it to be a coming-of-age genre tale in the vein of Stranger Things and IT, but by the end you will find a film that shares more in common with River's Edge and Stand By Me. It's set in the '90s, complete with scrambled "adult" channels, but it doesn't beat the viewer over the head with nostalgia. Owen Campbell (The Americans) and Charlie Tahan (Ozark) star as best friends with a secret that drives a wedge between them. Co-writers Ben Collins and Luke Piotrowski (Siren) capture the adolescent banter better than most films, while director Kevin Phillips makes an impressive feature debut. Living up to its title, Super Dark Times is a dark, tense experience.
5. Cult of Chucky
Child’s Play is a rare horror franchise that has maintained its original continuity, thanks to having Don Mancini - who has written every installment and directed the latter three - as the driving creative force. Cult of Chucky, the seventh entry in the series, brings together the franchise’s three distinct story lines - Nica (Fiona Dourif) from Curse of Chucky, Andy Barclay (Alex Vincent) from Child’s Play 1-3, and Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly) from Bride/Seed of Chucky. Taking cues from A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warrior, the film takes place in a mental institution, where Nica bonds with the members of her therapy group. When they start dying one by one, Nica struggles to convince anyone that a possessed doll named Chucky (voiced, as always, by Brad Dourif) is responsible. Mancini’s well-paced script is fearless in its exploration of delightfully weird ideas, in addition to balancing the more serious tone with lighthearted fun. The result is as close as you can get to pleasing fans of all eras of Chucky. Read my full review of the film here.
6. The Bar
The Bar is the latest effort from reliable Spanish filmmaker Álex de la Iglesia (The Oxford Murders). It finds a group of strangers trapped in a seedy bar in downtown Madrid. Anyone that tries to leave is killed by an unseen assailant, with their bodies disappearing - blood and all - when no one is looking. Reminiscent of an episode of The Twilight Zone, suspicion grows and intrigue builds as the group must come together to solve the mystery. Iglesia does a fine job establishing an ensemble of quirky characters in a short time and then maintaining that momentum throughout the duration. He also injects his signature dark humor into the plot, helping to further set it apart from other contained thrillers.
7. Creep 2
2014's Creep (which is also streaming on Netflix and should be viewed first) was perhaps the last good, original found footage movie, made on a shoestring budget with copious improvisation. Star/co-writer Mark Duplass (Safety Not Guaranteed), whose eerie performance as an idiosyncratic murderer anchored Creep, and director/co-writer Patrick Brice return for Creep 2, which slightly expands the mythology without sacrificing the intimacy that made the first film so effective. Duplass' character now goes by Aaron, assuming not only the name of Brice's character from the first Creep but also his interest in filmmaking. Sara (Desiree Akhavan) responds to Aaron's Craigslist ad looking for a videographer, and it’s not long after their meeting that he admits to being a serial killer. But Aaron is going through a bit of a midlife crisis, so he employs Sara to film a documentary about him. Much like the first Creep, not a whole lot happens before the climax, but Duplass' eccentric character and vulnerable performance keep you watching with bated breath.
8. Killing Ground
Killing Ground is an unapologetic Australian thriller in the vein of Eden Lake, Wolf Creek, Deliverance, and The Hills Have Eyes. In other words, it's an intense punch in the gut. In the film, a couple's romantic camping trip is interrupted by unhinged locals against whom they must fight for survival. The familiar set-up is elevated by intriguing flashbacks to events a few days prior to the main story, the context of which adds even more weight to the harrowing situation. Although not the most original story ever told, Killing Ground is an effective, realistic debut for writer-director Damien Power.
9. Veronica
Verónica is a Spanish-language psychological thriller from Mexico. Co-directors Carlos Algara and Alejandro Martinez-Beltran opted to shoot the film in black and white with gorgeous, precise cinematography, bringing to mind the recent The Eyes of My Mother. A psychologist (Arcelia Ramírez) is offered a substantial sum of money to take on the evasive yet intelligent Veronica de la Serna (Olga Segura) as a patient. It's a simple set-up, consisting of little more than dialogue between the two characters, but the intriguing therapy sessions slowly reveal Veronica's deep-seated issues. The plot takes an unexpected, exciting turn for the final act, but it ultimately leads to a twist that is trite and, frankly, unnecessary. But don't let that deter you; the rest of the film is positively riveting.
10. Red Christmas
Red Christmas is a holiday horror film that - despite hailing from Australia - captures the typical Christmas season quite well, complete with the family drama it often entails. It also addresses the topical subject of reproductive rights, employs both a genre legend (E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial's Dee Wallace, in one of her strongest performances in years) and an actor with Down syndrome (Gerard O'dwyer), and tells a decent horror story in the process. Similar to You're Next, the film features a killer interrupting a strained family gathering, blending home invasion and slasher influences. It won’t replace any of the classics, but Red Christmas is a fine addition to the Christmas horror pantheon. Read my full review of the film here.
11. Don't Kill It
Don't Kill It is a fun amalgam of horror, action, comedy, and western from director Mike Mendez (Big Ass Spider). A rash of homicides - in which each killer murders the previous killer - lead FBI agent Evelyn Pierce (Kristina Klebe, Halloween) back to the podunk Mississippi town she once called home in order to investigate the case. She reluctantly teams with Jebediah Woodley (Dolph Lundgren, Rocky IV), a self-described demon hunter, to stop the body-hopping demon on the loose. There are a couple of big, bloody set pieces that make the abundance of exposition worthwhile. Clocking in at a lean 83 minutes, the film plays like a more charming and entertaining version of a Syfy original movie.
Bonus: Dark
Comparisons between Dark and Stranger Things are inevitable - both Netflix original series concern a mystery of a missing child in a small town in which supernatural elements are at play - but Dark approaches the material in am much more subtle, subversive manner. In addition to Stranger Things' coming-of-age through a genre lens, the German show has the mind-bending rhetoric of Donnie Darko and the mystique of Twin Peaks, with a touch of Back to the Future for good measure. There may be a few too many characters for its own good, but the story - in which a disappearance in the present is somehow tied to similar events that occurred in 1986 - is undeniably well told and well shot. I'm already eager to binge a second season.
Bonus: Mindhunter
Mindhunter is an original series from executive producer David Fincher (Gone Girl, Seven), who also directs several episodes, with Joe Penhall (The Road) serving as showrunner. Based on the true crime book Mind Hunter: Inside the FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit, it follows FBI agents Holden Ford (Jonathan Groff. Glee) and Bill Tench (Holt McCallany, Alien 3) as they conduct interviews with convicted murderers in the late '70s for their groundbreaking work in behavioral science. After an attention-grabbing opening scene, the show takes a couple of episodes to gain momentum, but it's virtually impossible to look away after that. There's an abundance of heady dialogue, in typical Fincher fashion, though it's never short of enthralling.

ALL oc questions (numbers and letters) for Piper Dean :D
Okay here we goooo:
QUESTIONS FOR YOUR OCs
1. What’s the maximum amount of time your character can sit still with nothing to do?
Piper is actually pretty good at doing nothing! She’s especially relaxed if she’s been smoking pot. She’s a real procrastination expert so doing nothing can come naturally to her sometimes.
2. How easy is it for your character to laugh?
Not very. Piper isn’t easily amused and it can take a fair bit to make her crack a smile at a joke let alone laugh.
3. How do they put themselves to bed at night (reading, singing, thinking?)
She’d never admit it, but Piper is actually an avid reader. She finds that putting her phone down an hour before bed and snuggling up with a good book is her best bet for a good night’s sleep.
4. How easy is it to earn their trust?
It’s difficult. Piper has been through some traumatic experiences and it’s made it hard for her to want to rely on anyone. She takes a lot to open up, and even more to trust someone.
5. How easy is it to earn their mistrust?
Quite easy. Piper is pretty quick to become suspicious of other people. Any motive, any unexplained lapse, any change in their behaviour and she will pounce on it.
6. Do they consider laws flexible, or immovable?
Kind of flexible. She has a lawyer for a dad, so she’s often content in the knowledge that he will bail her out of trouble.
7. What triggers nostalgia for them, most often? Do they enjoy that feeling?
Music! Specific songs can trigger various memories, some are quite pleasant and others are very painful.
8. What were they told to stop/start doing most often as a child
Eating fruit! Piper didn’t eat very healthily as a young kid.
9. Do they swear? Do they remember their first swear word?
Oh, she definitely swears. Her first swear word was probably ‘shit’.
10. What lie do they most frequently remember telling? Does it haunt them?
I think the lie she tells the most frequently is acting like she’s okay even when she isn’t. She’s so adamant about keeping up the act that her life is perfect and wanting to feel like people envy her, even if they don’t know the truth.
11. How do they cope with confusion (seek clarification, pretend they understand, etc)?
Usually she seeks clarification. Piper doesn’t like the feeling of being confused.
12. How do they deal with an itch found in a place they can’t quite reach?
She’d probably use a ruler or another object to scratch it.
13. What color do they think they look best in? Do they actually look best in that color?
Pink, but she actually looks best in white.
14. What animal do they fear most?
I would say bears.
15. How do they speak? Is what they say usually thought of on the spot, or do they rehearse it in their mind first?
Nope, Piper definitely speaks her mind without thinking. She’s quite an impulsive person.
16. What makes their stomach turn?
Fuckboys.
17. Are they easily embarrassed?
Not usually. She generally flips her hair back and acts like nothing phases her.
18. What embarrasses them?
I think being called out on her shit. When people show the fact that her life isn’t as perfect as she makes out.
19. What is their favorite number?
8.
20. If they were asked to explain the difference between romantic and platonic or familial love, how would they do so?
She’d say romantic love is when all you can think about is kissing them, platonic is where hugs are the most affection you’d get and give, and familial is seeing someone like a part of your family.
21. Why do they get up in the morning?
I think to push for a better future for herself. She’s had some messed up things happen to her and around her, and I think Piper really wants to rise above that instead of being caught up in it.
22. How does jealousy manifest itself in them (they become possessive, they become aloof, etc)?
She’s extremely passive aggressive. She would act like she doesn’t care at all, but it would be really obvious by her behaviour that she does.
23. How does envy manifest itself in them (they take what they want, they become resentful, etc)?
Piper usually gets what she wants. So I think if she saw something someone had and she wanted it, she’d start a new trend of her own with something similar but not quite the same.
24. Is sex something that they’re comfortable speaking about? To whom?
Piper is pretty open talking about sex with her friends. But she doesn’t speak about it much with her family.
25. What are their thoughts on marriage?
She isn’t a huge fan of the idea. She can see that her parents argue a fair bit. She sees it as a bit daunting.
26. What is their preferred mode of transportation?
By car.
27. What causes them to feel dread?
I think people keeping secrets. Piper is aware it’s hypocritical, but she’s always worried about what others know and what they’re hiding.
28. Would they prefer a lie over an unpleasant truth?
Oh definitely prefer a lie.
29. Do they usually live up to their own ideals?
Nope, she’s struggling with that.
30. Who do they most regret meeting?
Jason Blossom.
31. Who are they the most glad to have met?
Veronica Lodge.
32. Do they have a go-to story in conversation? Or a joke?
I don’t think so, it really depends where the conversation is going, but Piper loves regaling her little crowd with tales of her latest adventures.
33. Could they be considered lazy?
For sure.
34. How hard is it for them to shake a sense of guilt?
It’s pretty difficult. She can unreasonably blame herself or find fault in her actions when it wasn’t her fault.
35. How do they treat the things their friends come to them excited about? Are they supportive?
Pre Jason’s death, she wasn’t supportive. She’d smile and nod and then go on about something related to her. She was competitive. But post Jason’s death she realises how selfish she’s been and she’s very much more supportive of her friends.
36. Do they actively seek romance, or do they wait for it to fall into their lap?
She definitely doesn’t seek romance. After her relationship with Jason, Piper is wary of romantic relationships.
37. Do they have a system for remembering names, long lists of numbers, things that need to go in a certain order (like anagrams, putting things to melodies, etc)?
Hmmm, not really. Piper has a pretty good memory.
38. What memory do they revisit the most often?
I think some of the more painful ones related to Jason. She can’t help herself. It’s a wound she itches and won’t let heal, but she really needs to.
39. How easy is it for them to ignore flaws in other people?
Fairly easy. Jason being a good example.
40. How sensitive are they to their own flaws?
Fairly sensitive, she doesn’t like being called out on them.
41. How do they feel about children?
She really does not like them.
42. How badly do they want to reach their end goal?
Hmm she doesn’t have a specific goal yet, she just wants to graduate.
43. If someone asked them to explain their sexuality, how would they do so?
She’d probably just shrug and say she likes dick.
QUESTIONS FOR CREATORS
A) Why are you excited about this character?
I’m excited for her because she’s a lot of fun to write. Piper is that girl people love to hate - she’s bitchy, she’s selfish, she basically starts off this Regina George type of girl who you really think “wow she’s awful”. But then you start to realise there’s more to that act and there’s a very damaged, vulnerable girl beneath it all.
B) What inspired you to create them?
From the start I knew I wanted her to be a love interest for Jughead, but I really needed her to be more than that and have her own story too. I wanted someone who could be relatable, but who wasn’t miss perfect.
C) Did you have trouble figuring out where they fit in their own story?
Not really. I knew from the start I had a specific story I wanted to tell with Piper, specific issues I wanted to delve into. I had a bit of trouble in the sense that I was scared it would be too much for people, but I also think sexual assault is something that’s so prevalent in high schools and universities that it’s a topic worth talking about.
D) Have they always had the same physical appearance, or have you had to edit how they look?
For the most part it’s stayed the same.
E) Are they someone you would get along with? Would they get along with you?
I definitely don’t think so! Piper is a total party girl who’s out until all hours of the night and always with her friends. I’m a lot more of a homebody.
F) What do you feel when you think of your OC (pride, excitement, frustration, etc)?
I’m pretty proud. I like to think what I’ve created with Piper is a realistic character, someone who’s flawed but you don’t realise all of her flaws at first.
G) What trait of theirs bothers you the most?
Definitely her selfishness. She’s such a bitch at the start and it was hard to get into the mindset of a girl who literally did not care about anyone other than herself.
H) What trait do you admire most?
Her stubbornness and determination. She’s definitely adamant on being a part of solving Jason’s murder, even if she and Jason weren’t particularly close at the end of his life.
I) Do you prefer to keep them in their canon universe?
For the most part.
J) Did you have to manipulate or exclude canon factors to allow them to create their character?
There are several changes I’ve had to make (eg. no Bughead, Jason’s killer is not who they were in canon).

Wu Assassins: 5 Things It Did Well (And 5 Things That Could Have Been Better)
Wu Assassins is the story of how Kai, the new Wu Assassin, must restore the balance of the universe by taking the wu from Wu Warlords. The Wu Warlords each hold one of the elements: wood, fire, water, metal, and earth. This makes them powerful and dangerous.
RELATED: Wu Assassins: 10 Questions We Have After Season 1
To help or hinder Kai on his path are his childhood friends (Tommy, Jenny and Lu Xin), an undercover police agent (CG), his father (Triad crime boss and Fire Wu), and 1000 monk faces and powers. Season 1 just aired on Netflix this August. Here are five things it did well and five things that it could have done better.
10 Did Well: The Fight Scenes
These are well-choreographed and exciting fight scenes. Nearly each character has martial arts skills, and it was fascinating not only watching those skills, but how their characters were revealed through the fighting. For instance, Jenny appears to be used to being underestimated by most opponents. When she saves Tommy, she doesn't fight until she has to, and she uses many low-to-ground rolls and skills. Her opponent assumes he has bested her, but she has him just where she wants him. She uses her petite size and their narrow-mindedness to her benefit.
9 Could Have Been Better: The Role of CG and the Police
CG goes undercover to try to bring both Alec's Russian crew and Uncle's Six's crew in. She works for Lu Xin initially to gather data, but also to find dirt about him. Occasionally, we hear from the other police who are trying to keep the peace between these two warring fractions. However, as CG gets pulled into the Wu world, her initial role falters. The police present a subplot that never truly developed. While we like CG and consider her useful, her story feels spotty at best.
8 Did Well: The Earth Wu
The Earth Wu is barely in the show, but makes a big impact. Seeing that his son is a disappointment and shouldn't inherit the Wu, the Earth Wu kidnaps potentials in order to interview them. If they pass the interview, they would receive the Wu. If they don't, the Earth Wu kills them. All have been killed so far.
The Earth Wu is very connected to his element and protecting nature. His story is interesting in that his use of power is more grounded in helping the earth, rather than in what power he can get from it. While very eccentric, even he knows not to buddy up with Alec, the Wood Wu, and cautions Kai to keep away from him. The Earth Wu is unique and surprisingly well-developed even in his short screen time.
7 Could Have Been Better: Water Wu
The Water Wu is played by the fantastic actress Summer Glau, but she feels quite under-utilized. We know little about her besides the fact that she follows the Wood Wu and has had a romantic relationship with the Metal Wu (regardless of the body he is in). True, the Water Wu is beautiful and dangerous, but what else? Her sole purpose seems to be assuming the role of the sexy one, leaving her character flat. She is like the Sleeping Beauty of the Wu Warlords — on the screen, but only passively active. While she does kill a man, she kills him for the Wood Wu, not any motive unique to herself.
RELATED: 10 Best Sci-Fi Shows on Hulu
6 Did Well: The Childhood Friendship
Kai, Lu Xin, Jenny and Tommy have been friends since Uncle Six took Kai in as his own. We see them together as teenagers: getting tattoos, eating and goofing around. The scenes from their youth help show their history and chemistry. Kai comes across as more reserved than the other three, and they come across as protective of him. This continues into adulthood. However, when they dine together at the end, they seem less connected than before. This suggests that the tight friendship between them may have some challenges in the next season.
5 Could Have Been Better: The Monks' Faces and Powers
1000 monks gave their powers for the Wu Assassin (Kai) in order to successfully fight the Wu Warlords, restoring balance. In addition, when Kai needs to hide his identity, a monk's face appears as his own as a way to protect him. While we see a couple of the monks' faces, we don't see others. We don't know if each monk had a unique power that Kai comes to possess. Basically, we know little about their story.
RELATED: MCWho? 10 Shared Cinematic Universes
Also, people find that Kai was the Wu Assassin pretty early, so the masks of the monks' faces become of little use.
4 Did Well: Family Struggles and Loyalty
In this series, we have multiple examples of family. We have Tommy and Jenny, a tight-knit sibling pair trying to live up to the high expectations of their family. Then there is Zan of the Triad who has no family and envies Jenny. We also have Alec the Wood Wu, who began his game just so he could go back to his family. Even CG talks about her father and how he led her to the life she has now. Then there is the Earth Wu and his talk of passing the Wu power down generation to generation. Last but not least, we have Kai and Uncle Six, who share a strong bond.
In each of these narratives, family or the lack of family is important. It determines the characters' values and what they are willing to do to protect those close to them. Zan, the one without a family, seems to be searching for hers. Instead, she chooses power and betrayal — both of which will probably not give her the sense of belonging she wants.
3 Could Have Been Better: Lu Xin's Shame and Anger
Out of the four friends, Lu Xin is the one who was burnt and harmed by the fire when they were teens and trapped in the building. His face and ear were scarred, and it is something he is sensitive about, thinking people treat him differently because of it. However, until other characters mentioned the scars, we didn't really notice much about them. On the screen, they seem minimal. The actor who plays Lu Xin, Lewis Tan, is a very handsome man, so Lu Xin doesn't come across as the rejected/judged outsider. He's also joyful. For the scars to have affected him more, we should see them manifest in the way Lu Xin views himself throughout the full series, and not just towards the end.

2 Did Well: Kai and Uncle Six's Relationship
Uncle Six seems only sincere when he is with Kai. While we doubt many things about Uncle Six, we never doubt his love for Kai. Even though Kai may be angry with Uncle Six, he also loves him. Uncle Six notes that Kai doesn't use the expensive knife Uncle Six bought him, but Kai also doesn't throw it away. This symbolizes their relationship — while Kai doesn't adhere to all of whom Uncle Six is, h also doesn't throw away his love and teachings. This relationships shone and it allowed us to see Uncle Six's softer, more noble side.
1 Could Have Been Better: "I Am Not a Killer"
A key part of Kai's personality is that he is not a killer. Uncle Six likes this about Kai and considers it a strength. Ying Ying tells Kai that as the Wu Assassin, he will need to kill. Kai answers back that he isn't a killer. However, when it comes time to kill, Kai does this easily and without much struggle. In contrast, another MCU superhero, Daredevil lives by the code of not killing, and struggles not to cross that line. Whereas, Kai just accepts that he has to kill with little to no inner struggle.

Blog: Love behind bars; online dating for prisoners.
Maybe I’m old fashioned. Maybe I’m crazy. Maybe I’m old. Maybe I’m boring. But I truly don’t get the desire to pick a criminal’s profile to correspond with on a dating site. But it happens. Regularly enough for there to be a few sites catering to this need. One of my tweets even had a response from one of those sites offering free subscription or something. I didn’t take them up on the offer. Hell if I struggle to find a normal decent guy on the dating apps and sites I’m currently using why would I then look for love in prisons?
Take the example of Canadian killer Dustin Hales. He killed his wife while the lady both he and his wife had been having a relationship with watched. He was found guilty and given a life sentence with 17 years non parole. Now he’s on one of the dating sites for women on the outside to write to men inside called “Canadian Inmates Connect.” The majority of men on the site are openly looking for love or- at least- conjugal visits.
When asked why she set the site up founder Melissa Fazzina said she thought it could help promote rehabilitation by allowing the inmates the chance to forge and nurture positive connections in the outside world. Those working in the field cautiously agree.
“Almost anything that can create a sense of community and belonging upon release, or even while you’re in there, increases the possibility of a safe reintegration—because often these guys are coming out with nothing and nobody.”
Catherine Latimer, the executive director of the John Howard Society of Canada, a non-profit organization that works with offenders and promotes just and humane responses to crime, echoes this sentiment: “They’re in prison as punishment, not for punishment. They have a right to communicate with people. They have a right to have family and friends on the outside,” she says. (1)
It should also pointed out that even without the websites this sort of thing happens and has done for a long time. Consider Charles Manson, for example, who almost married his long time pen pal/fiancee. In England notorious inmate Charles Bronson, serving a life sentence, married a lady who wrote to him. Serial killer Richard Ramirez, the so-called Night Stalker, who murdered and dismembered 13 people in the 1980s, had no trouble finding a bride. Doreen Lioy started writing to Ramirez after falling for his picture in the paper. They were married in 1996 in the prison waiting room. Ted Bundy, a rapist-murderer who was suspected of murdering 35 young women, attracted gangs of admiring groupies who sat patiently through his court cases. Even John Wayne Gacy - not the most eligible man, with a history of drugging, raping and murdering 30 young men in Chicago - ended up marrying a woman he met while awaiting the death penalty. Even Josef Fritzl, who imprisoned his daughter in a purpose built cellar as his sex slave for 24 years, received hundreds of letters.
The cliche of the prison bride as trailed trash with peroxide dyed hair and a cigarette hanging out her mouth with a vocabulary that consists mainly of swear words is actually misguided. Research has shown these women all come from different backgrounds, different socioeconomic classes, different professions, different levels of education. Some were married, some weren’t. Some had kids, some didn’t. Carlos the Jackal become engaged to his lawyer last year. The famous Glasgow hard man Jimmy Boyle married a psychiatrist he met in prison. But it does make us ask why?
From the research I’ve done quite often serial killers or those who have committed a crime- or crimes plural- are often inundated with “fan mail”. And often the letters are super sexually explicit, contain naked photos, and proposals of marriage. From what I can gather all too often the women want to try and understand the man behind the monster, perhaps even to help them find redemption. What makes someone do this? Are they lonely and in search of emotional dependence from a captive audience? Or manipulative sociopaths living vicariously through ‘celebrity’ prisoners? Are they turned on by the fame that these ‘celebrity’ prisoners gain? Do they have their own issues- psychological or otherwise- that makes these men attractive to them? Englishman Alex Cavendish, former inmate and currently a social anthropologist, cites a few reasons.
Major factors to consider are dependency and control. “Dependence works both ways - financial for many prisoners, particularly those who don’t have family ties, as well as emotional.” He explains. In describing the type of women who write to prisoners he says, "I’ll be honest and say that a fair few of the female correspondents are lonely women who often have body-image concerns (many of those whose photos I’ve seen tend to be overweight.) They feel perhaps that a prisoner is likely to be less judgmental and more appreciative of any support - emotional and/or financial.” Of course it’s not all about love. Many women (and men) choose to reach out simply to provide friendship and compassion to those behind bars. Their actions provide a much welcome lifeline, a window to the outside world. (2)
A book called "Women who love men who kill” author Sheila Isenberg examines the idea of prison lovers and it seems that my feelings of why are common. Family and friends, even strangers, genuinely are bewildered at why women would put themselves in such a complex situation. (2)
She also explains that most often these women are damaged- they’ve been hurt in the past; they’ve been sexually abused, psychologically, emotionally abused. So a relationship with a man in prison leaves the woman in control. He’s locked away, he can’t hurt you, you decide when to visit him, you even decide whether or not to accept his collect phone calls. So they feel safer. (3)
Issenberg cites an example of a British woman who has been engaged to several death-row inmates in the USA, all of whom have since been executed. Yet she, and many of these women, claim they didn’t specifically chose the course for themselves. Karen Richey’s partner, for instance, is on death row in Ohio. Karen says that she wasn’t looking for a love affair when she made contact with Kenny, a 38-year-old Scot: “My war cry is that I only wanted to be a pen pal. Kenny insists this is going to be on my grave stone.” (4)
There is a condition known as hybristophilia (often referred to as “Bonnie and Clyde syndrome) which Wikipedia defines as "a paraphilia in which sexual arousal, facilitation and attainment of sexual orgasm are responsive to and contingent upon being with a partner known to have committed an outrage, cheating, lying, known infidelities or crime, such as rape, murder, or armed robbery. ” Don’t get me wrong- we all have had the bad boy phase at some point in our lives but I think this is taking it a bit too far.
The thing is though that the fantasy of these types of romances rarely matches the reality. For starters physical contact us obviously limited thus they often never progress past the courting stage. The men spend their days exercising or working in their prison jobs and in the evening writing letters to the women or trying to phone them. They are more compliant and attentive than they would be on the outside because the women send money, pay for their legal representation and afford them the tremendous parole advantage of a permanent address as well as the fact there are little female distractions whilst locked up.
Clinical Psychologist Dr Stuart Fischoff likens it thus; “The love object is almost irrelevant at this point. [The prisoner] is a dream lover, a phantom limb.” (2) Prison relationships therefore seem to retain the intoxicating elements of the “honeymoon period” of all relationships, where that first endorphin-flush of love always involves a degree of transference; whereby we all see our partners as we hope them to be, imagining that the love object embodies the qualities we crave. The excuses the women give for their partner’s alleged crimes operate as in all other relationships. They do what we all sometimes do when faced with negative information about loved ones: they refuse to believe it. They aren’t having to ask the men to pick up their dirty socks or put the toilet seat down.
When it comes to how these women dealt with the knowledge they were in love with someone who’d committed a terrible crime found ways to rationalise it or mitigate the crime and excuse it. For example: he didn’t really mean to be that murderer. In the course of interviewing women for her book Issenberg cited one woman who said, 'He was awkward and when the door hit him in the arm, the gun went off.’ And another one who said, 'His friends were all drinking and doing drugs and he got carried away and he didn’t mean to do it.’ (3)
So how do these dating sites for men behind bars work? Well they are like dating profiles on conventional dating sites. There’s a photograph, a short bio, hobbies and interests. The only difference in this part is the details of their incarceration. Again like conventional sites women pick the guy they like the look and sound of and start writing to them, building a rapport and hopefully a romantic relationship.
“Love a Prisoner” claims to have a “75% compatibility rating for those looking for their soul mate” – including inmates on death row. “Our mission is to give inmates a sense of hopefulness by connecting them to people on the ‘outside world’,” the website states. (5)
The forums on "Write a prisoner” give insight into what the women are looking for. They include things such as chatty prisoners, ones who don’t ask for money, and ones who haven’t committed sex crimes. The women have also slammed claims they are “groupies” of men who have committed vile acts. (5)
“Meet-an-Inmate” claims to be ranked #1 among prison pen pal websites and has been helping inmates connect with the outside world since 1988. They claim it’s a free, easy way to brighten up an inmates day but stress they are NOT a dating service. (6) However despite this romantic feelings can- and do- develop. There have been quite a few marriages from the site over the years. The founder, Arlen Bischke, explained that many prisoners get cut off from their family and friends so correspondence can really brighten their day. (7)
Christian Science Monitor reported that the online prisoner dating industry has grown from humble beginnings. Leading sites now boast “between 7,000 and 10,000 ads” and ABC News claim there are over a dozen major prisoner dating sites now. (7)
In conclusion I must admit to a certain fascination with true crime. I’ve got two shelves on my bookshelf dedicated to the genre after having discovered it during my undergrad legal degree and then my postgrad in criminology, as well as my time working in prosecution and the courts for the government. Shows about true crimes fascinate me. I devoured “making a murderer” (and read Jereme Butings book about that and the illusion of justice for indigent defendants which is pretty much the same in Australia these days given legal aid cuts mean cases are means tested and if they don’t think there’s a chance of winning they won’t take it purely because of lack of resources) and am loving “murder uncovered.” I’ve read a heap of books on Ivan Milat, Julian Knight, Bradley Murdoch and the infamous underbelly” underworld crime spree. But would I then think to myself okay I’m going to write to these guilty criminals and maybe start some kind of friendship that could perhaps grow into a relationship? Hell no I don’t. (NB: I don’t believe that Steve Avery of MAM fame was guilty but that’s beside the point here.) I have no desire to want to correspond with killers, with men who will likely die in prison, let alone try and fall in love with them! Not only would it be an unequal and strange relationship but there would be no point. Plus the little fact that I don’t get turned on by men who could kill another human being with scant regard, or no regard, for the sanctity of life and the pain and suffering it would consequently create. And though I’ve really tried to understand the women who do this while researching and writing this blog post, and whilst I even partly understand some of the reasoning in bits, I just don’t get it. Love behind bars is just not for me.

Over the weekend, Amazon picked up sci-fi series The Expanse for a fourth season, after it had been cancelled by Syfy earlier in May. On Tuesday, Deadline brought word that Jamie Foxx would play the lead role in creator Todd McFarlane’s film adaptation of his comic book Spawn, about a black ops guy who dies, ends up in Hell, and is then sent back to Earth as a demonic warrior.
On Wednesday, Woody Harrelson confirmed in an interview that he does indeed have a role in the upcoming Spider-Man spin-off Venom, and revealed that he’s also signed up for a sequel. There’s no official word on his role, but rumours abound that Harrelson might be playing serial killer Cletus Kasady aka Carnage. We’ll find out when Venom releases October 5.
Also on Wednesday, Deadline said that Apple had greenlit a comedy based on 19th-century poet Emily Dickinson, with Hailee Steinfeld (The Edge of Seventeen) in the lead role. On Thursday, Variety reported that Westworld’s James Marsden had been cast for Sonic the Hedgehog movie, where he’ll reportedly play a cop named Tom who teams up with Sonic. The film is slated for November 15, 2019.
Lastly, we got a poster and synopsis for How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World, which presents a romantic interest for the dragon Toothless. How to Train Your Dragon 3 is slated for release on March 1, 2019.
That’s all the entertainment news for this week. Welcome back to The Weekend Chill, your one-stop destination for what to watch, play, or listen to this weekend. Here are the best picks.
TV: The Americans Picking up three years after the conclusion of season five, The Americans finds the Jennings in a very different world. While Philip (Matthew Rhys) has moved away from the KGB spy life to focus on their travel-agency cover business, Elizabeth (Keri Russell) and their daughter Paige (Holly Taylor) are now involved deeper than before. Stan Beeman (Noah Emmerich) has settled down and shuttered the Soviet task force.
The sixth and final season of the show – a shortened run of 10 episodes, which ended earlier this week – uses the time jump to push its fictional world closer to the geopolitical upheaval around the corner (the end of the Cold War), though it’s more interested, as always, in how people get caught up on the other sides of battle lines through no inclination of their own.
Critics are full of praise for the season finale, calling it a heart-breaking and excellent end to a terrific show, and some labelling it one of the top 10 finales of all-time. “Part of the reason The Americans became such a rare treat is because it so rarely bowed to the usual pressures of TV story-building,” Variety’s Caroline Framke wrote. “It allowed itself to be slow and insular in a deliberate way that almost always found a satisfying payoff.”

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt Created by Tina Fey and Robert Carlock – the latter of whom served as showrunner for the former’s previous comedy 30 Rock – for Netflix, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt follows Kimmy, a woman in her thirties, who was rescued along with three others from a doomsday cult in Indiana, where Reverend Richard Wayne Gary Wayne (Jon Hamm) had held them for 15 years.
After getting out, Kimmy decides to move to New York City, where she meets gay, struggling actor, Titus Andromedon (Tituss Burgess), and street-wise landlady Lillian Kaushtupper (Carol Kane), and gets a job as a nanny for high-strung and lonely socialite Jacqueline Voorhees (Jane Krakowski). In the three seasons since, Kimmy adjusts to modern-day customs and slowly rebuilds her life, going to college among other things.
The show’s fourth and final season will air in two parts, with six episodes earlier this week and the other six in January 2019. Reviews have been positive: The Atlantic’s Sophie Gilbert noted how it “jokes, over and over again, about how injustice is ingrained within every level of society”, and Vox’s Alissa Wilkinson said “the darkness that’s always been present is finally breaking through, even though it’s also loaded with the same hysterical one-liners and fast-paced humour”.

Pose Prolific producer-creator Ryan Murphy, who recently signed a $300-million deal with Netflix, is back with a new show on FX: a musical dance drama called Pose, created by Murphy, Brad Falchuk (Glee), and Steven Canals. Set in the mid-1980s New York, it looks “at the juxtaposition of several segments of life and society: the rise of the luxury Trump-era universe, the downtown social and literary scene and the ball culture world”.
Pose includes the largest transgender cast ever assembled, according to FX, with over 50 transgender characters in some form. Well-known actors include Kate Mara (Megan Leavey), Evan Peters (American Horror Story), James Van Der Beek (Dawson’s Creek), Angelica Ross (Her Story), and stage performers Billy Porter and Charlayne Woodard. The show starts Sunday in the US, and will be available on Hotstar in India from Monday.
Reviews are mostly favourable. Entertainment Weekly’s Kristen Baldwin said: “For all of its ballroom flash and diva fierceness, Pose is a sweet, touching drama about finding your family, your purpose, yourself.” The Hollywood Reporter’s Dan Fienberg noted “an introductory quality to the opening episodes” and added: “Pose is poignant, funny and completely accessible, whether you’ve been part of this community or your only point of reference is Madonna’s ‘Vogue’ video.”

Movies: Black Panther Set immediately after the events of Captain America: Civil War, T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman) returns home to Wakanda, the technologically advanced African nation that poses as an agrarian nation to its neighbours. Now king after the death of his father, he finds his rule being challenged by factions within Wakanda, who seek to overthrow him.
Black Panther must work with members of the Dora Milaje, Wakanadan special forces, and CIA to prevent his country from being dragged into an all-out war. In addition to Boseman, the film stars Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, and Andy Serkis. As always, Stan Lee has a cameo.
Black Panther Is the King of Marvel Movies
Directed by Ryan Coogler (Creed), the film received stellar reviews upon release from critics, including us. Thanks to an impressive cast, three-dimensional characters (plus a great villain), stellar writing and direction, resonating themes, and a soundtrack like no other Marvel film, Black Panther is likely the best of the MCU lot. And it’s now available for purchase on Blu-ray and digital media.

Amazon Prime Video now has Batman Begins, which was earlier only on Netflix. The first two seasons of The Magicians are now available on Amazon as well.
Video games: Street Fighter: 30th Anniversary Edition For the thirtieth anniversary of its popular fighting franchise, Capcom decided to package the arcade versions of 12 Street Fighter games: the original Street Fighter, all five versions of Street Fighter II: The World Warrior, Champion Edition, Turbo: Hyper Fighting, Super, and Super Turbo; all three versions of Street Fighter Alpha: Alpha, Alpha 2, and Alpha 3; and all three versions of Street Fighter III: New Generation, 2nd Impact, and 3rd Strike.
Of these twelves, four titles – Turbo: Hyper Fighting, Super Turbo, Alpha 3, and 3rd Strike – also have support for online multiplayer, where four players can join lobbies. The game’s Nintendo Switch version has an exclusive eight-player local mode for Super Street Fighter II. Bonus features include a Museum Mode where you can view concept art from the past three decades, a music player to listen to tracks, and biographies for characters.
Street Fighter: 30th Anniversary Edition has received good reviews. It looks good on modern hardware despite the respective age of the 12 titles (between 1987 and 1999), sports responsive controls, sounds great, and has a lot on offer in main content and extras. The only things we didn’t like were a lack of context in some places, and a higher price on the Switch.

Other mentions: Beyond that, you should check out Yoku’s Island Express, which brings together pinball mechanics, platforming and open world exploration. It’s getting good reviews, and it’s available on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
This week also brought a new action RPG with rogue-lite elements, called Moonlighter. If that’s more your style, be sure to read our review, where it scored a 7 out of 10. It’s available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
There’s also Ikaruga, Sega’s 2001 shoot ‘em up, which has been ported over to the Nintendo Switch. It’s getting great reviews, so if you’ve Nintendo’s handheld and have been looking for a new game, try Ikaruga.

15 Little Known Facts About Ted Bundy That Will Chill You To Your Core
New Post has been published on http://foursprout.com/happiness/15-little-known-facts-about-ted-bundy-that-will-chill-you-to-your-core/
15 Little Known Facts About Ted Bundy That Will Chill You To Your Core
Being from Florida, I thought it was fitting to research Ted Bundy, our very well known American serial killer. These are just 15 facts about Ted Bundy that I found the most bone chilling. The stories seem almost never-ending. He was a master manipulator and very charming. It was almost as if he had no personality at all – only the ability to show people what they wanted to see in order to get what he wanted from them.
Ted Bundy Mug Shot
1. In the early 1970s, Bundy worked for a suicide hotline in Seattle. His coworkers, including author Ann Rule, remember him as a skilled volunteer who helped ease troubled callers and saved lives. Talk about irony.
2. Bundy confessed to 30, (yes 30), homicides committed in seven different states between 1974 and 1978. However, the possibility of a higher victim count is plausible.
3. Bundy was uncertain of who is father was. (Maybe that cause me some issues for him) His mother was Louis Cowell.
Ted Bundy’s Volkswagen Beetle
4. The Cowells were devout Methodists and they were ashamed and embarrassed when they found out that Louise was pregnant outside of wedlock. So, they sent her away to a home for unwed mothers in Vermont so that she could give birth in secret. A few months later, Louise returned to her family in Philadelphia. Her father, Sam Cowell, traveled to the home for unwed mothers to retrieve baby Ted. He and his wife pretended that they had adopted Ted from an orphanage. Ted grew up thinking that Louise was his sister and not his mother. Eventually, Ted found out the truth, but no one knows for sure how old he was when he learned his family secret.
5. The man who was assigned on Bundy’s birth certificate as his father, Lloyd Marshall, was a salesman and Air Force Veteran. However, Bundy’s mother made claims that she had been seduced by a sailor named Jack Worthington, but after investigations were made; there was no record of anyone by that name in Navy and Marine Archives. What’s the truth? We will never know.
6. But if you think THAT’S insane, get this: there have been claims made by Bundy’s family that Bundy might have been fathered by his mother’s abusive father, Samuel Cowell. Of course, those are only claims, and there is nothing to support this or prove it wrong.
Ted Bundy’s Murder Kit
7. Other accounts of Ted’s childhood are forbidding. One relative described Ted’s grandfather as a maniac with an explosive temper. He was a church deacon who was accused of being obsessed with pornography, and is rumored to have owned a large collection of it. It is believed that Ted was exposed to his grandfather’s collection of pornography as a young child, which some believe may have sparked his utter fascination and preoccupation with pornography and violent sex, Whether Ted was sexually molested as a child is unknown, though it has been rumored.
8. How old was he when he began killing? No one knows. There is some evidence suggests that he abducted and killed 8-year-old Ann Marie Burr of Tacoma in 1961 when he was 14, an allegation he denied repeatedly. However, there is a bone chilling story about Ted, while he was staying with one of his aunts. That while she was sleeping, he placed several butcher knives under the covers in the bed next to her. When she woke up and discovered the knives, young Ted could not stop laughing.
9. Believe it or not Bundy attended College and studied Chinese, but dropped out nearly 2 years later and began working minimum wage jobs.
Bundy after his first arrest.
10. During Bundy’s time at college in 1967, he became romantically involved with Stephanie Brooks, but she ended their relationship due to his “lack of ambition” and “immaturity. All of Bundy’s victims are believed to look similar to Stephanie, as they all were white females between the age of 15 to 25, were college students and mostly from middle-class backgrounds. They also had long, straight dark brown hair with a part in the middle, just like Stephanie.
11. Ted Bundy is thought to have decapitated 12 of his victims, and would often keep some of the severed heads in his apartment for a long period of time
12. Ted Bundy believed the motive behind most of his killings was due to an intense fascination with pornography, and claimed that every serial killer he has ever met had also shared the same problem. (Maybe the claims about his grandfather are true?) He claims that he may never have committed the horrific crimes if it wasn’t for his absorption in pornography. He sometimes revisited his secondary crime scenes for hours at a time, grooming and performing sexual acts with the decomposing corpses until putrefaction and destruction by wild animals made further interaction impossible. (I know, pretty disgusting)
14. Bundy faced murder charges in Colorado, he escaped prison and committed further assaults, including three murders, before his ultimate recapture in Florida in 1978 where he received three death sentences in two separate trials for the Florida homicides.

15. During his trial, many women became interested and infatuated with Bundy, as if they were his fans. Bundy would wind up marrying a woman he met while he was incarcerated, Carol Ann Boone, with whom he fathered a daughter. Ted’s daughter, reportedly named Rose, has changed her name and lived a life hidden from the public eye.

Review by JG
Nightshade by (Redemption #3) Molly McAdams My rating: 4 of 5 stars
“The girl was poison. My personal nightshade.”
Another powerful and well-written story by Molly McAdams who seems to revel in her role as a pen-wielding sadist by unleashing such painfully poignant books.
The Redemption series books really do build with a slow burn. The story, whilst intriguing, appears to simmer until it literally explodes in front of your eyes. At times, I questioned whether the story was building too slowly to maintain my interest but then I remembered that the same thing had happened in Books 1 & 2 and their conclusions made the waiting all the more worthwhile. This is exactly what happened with Nightshade. The story meanders in a way which creates more questions than answers and whilst it appears confusing at times, all of your answers and more are explained in perfect detail by the end of the book.
This story was perhaps even more painful than its predecessors and even made me cry! I loved Kieran’s character before, and the way he was portrayed as a cold and callous killer, but we get to see an altogether different side of him in Nightshade as he meets a girl who tames his inner darkness.
He looked like a lethal contradiction. So calm. So savagely animalistic. Eyes wild. Yet lifeless. He was terrifying. And he was beautiful.
Jessica has her own fair share of demons but it is clear from the outset that she has unrivalled determination when it comes to protecting her loved ones. From her first interaction with Kieran/Nightshade, Jessica sees that they are both trying to contain their demons, but for very different reasons. Jessica is trying to keep drug dealers at bay to protect her mother and Kieran is part of the syndicate responsible for providing her with the drugs. With Jessica’s only option to meet the spiralling debts from her mother’s addiction by selling her body, she finds herself not only on Beck’s radar but also Kieran’s. What you don’t realise until later into the book is the level of debt that Jessica is in and to whom. With men threatening her from all directions, it’s no surprise that Jessica is a little crazy and untrusting.
Happiness wasn’t meant for girls like me.
I loved the relationship that forms between Jessica and Kieran. With neither able to trust the other but their bodies ruling their minds, they seek solace in each other's arms but is Kieran ready to move on after Lily and can Jessica escape the men determined to break her?
This is definitely a book to savour and to read at leisure. Please don’t try to squeeze it in between other books or read it in snippets. In order to experience the full effect of this story, it is worth taking the time to allow the book to consume and break you before putting you back together.

Tagging game :)
Thank you, dear @abybweisse for having tagged me too! <3 1. How has your opinion of yourself changed over the years? Unfortunately yes. I say “unfortunately” because when I was younger I used to be emotionally stronger, but the presence of certain people in my life made me become less confident (especially when it comes to people whom I love deeply, because I am more vulnerable to their opinions and attacks and I started suffering of panic attacks because of this). 2. If you had to pick one book to read for the rest of your life, which book would you pick? Kushiel’s Legacy (both Phèdre and Imriel’s saga) series. Those books are an endless source of inspiration. 3. What’s your favorite season? Do you have a particular reason for liking it? I’d say summer because of the light (I feel better when there is light all around). But here summer is like Hell because it’s hot af, so we are in July and I can breath flames… XD 4. What’s your favorite thing to do when you want to relax? Daydream about stories. Preferably mine… XD The ones I should write, the ones I wrote but I still have something to say. 5. Do you consider yourself lazy? I was born under the sign of Cancer. So yes, I am basically a lazy person, but when I find something interesting, I am not lazy anymore. 6. What’s your view on morality? I feel that many things do not go as they were meant to go, because we live in a very unfair world. To be honest, I believe that it is very important to listen to people’s reasons, but this is not so easy, because we are often too focussed on our beliefs. So it depends. 7. When are you most productive? When I am under pressure. Exams helped me a lot in this (instead of studying XD). Luckily I am about to finish! 8. Do you have any strong opinions about things most people don’t think much about? Love. About love. I strongly believe that love (in a romantic way) exists only in fiction, and I am totally unable to feel it for another person (my ex is the proof XD). Anyway I believe that the sole, endless love is the one between a mother and her child! ;_;<3 9. How do you handle stress? Mh… listen to some kind of music, mostly. 10. What would your ideal world be like? An ideal world would be like the one everyone has in his mind. Anyway, a world that allows children to be themselves and helps them to bloom would be a very good world. Extra Questions: 1.) What’s one story that you want to write/create but won’t (or haven’t yet)? Uuuuuuh… well: I started to write a story about a young student of Psychology in Boston, Kate, who is the only eyewitness of a little girl’s murder few days before Christmas. After that moment, few years later, she joins detective Alexander Graham’s Division as the departmental psychologist in order to find “the Magician”, the mysterious murderer of the little girl, when she finds out that he was also the killer of Alexander’s little daughter, Lily. Also, Kate discovers that her superior is not exactly a good person (actually not that he does too much for hiding his dark temper XD), but when he was a college student, he was the leader of a secret élite, the Dark Circus (just like other members of their team... I picture him like Vincent Phantomhive, Kougami Shinya and our beautiful Italian Leo Cagliostro) and the past involving both is more entwined that they could even suspect. Well, this is my “Dark Circus”, a story I really would love to write (I wrote some chapters but nothing more) and I have lots of ideas and the finale too, but lack of inspiration and university are not a good thing for a novelist… -__-“ Ah, I also wanted to write some one-shots for my *happily finished* fantasy “Underworld – La Croix du Lac” but same thing as DC. 2.) What’s an interesting moment of self-discovery in your life? My first job assignation (as a secondary school professor) and my teacher-training in Primary Education: I found out that I am really good as a teacher! 3.) Dream job? Cat-sitting! *_______________* And being mom! <3 Unfortunately, since I can’t find the raw material, I believe it won’t be easy for me to become a mother, one day… ;_; 4.) What’s a book/movie/show that has had a large influence on you? I do not know, actually… I can say that Kushiel’s Legacy has a large influence on my writing style, perhaps. But also, it depends on moments. 5.) Has music ever changed your life, or at least your outlook on life? I will never stop thanking and blessing Marconi Union for their Weightless! 6.) Imagine you’ve become an established author/artist/creator. What would you want the fandom for your works to be like? “Discussing written works and theorizing about it/analyzing it, maybe creating fanfics that would work within canon. Creating fan art that is true to canon. Commissioning artwork or crafts from me”. @abybweisse I made copy/paste here because this is my exact opinion too! 7.) Same scenario as #6. What would the fandom actually be like? I experienced this on EFP with my “Underworld”. I noticed that my “fandom” was really curious and prone to theorize things (I still giggling at them thinking that Aurore’s father was an angel or something similar, Shemar being Sebastian’s relative, Liger being Evan… ok, this one was right! XD Aaaaah and I loved when they showed lots of empathy toward Celia and her backstory ç_ç). 8.) What’s a subject that you think should be taught in schools but typically isn’t taught at all? Guys, we are talking about Italian school here. As a teacher, I can say that in Italy there is a general lack of attention towards social studies. We try to study some arguments by transversal subjects, but in the end, what do we know about others, really? 9.) What’s a subject that you think should be taught differently in schools from how it usually is? Math (but also several subjects, especially in the secondary school). But the way Math is taught is terrible. No wonder that Italian students are among the worst in Europe. 10.) Are there any patterns in your interests/works that wouldn’t be immediately obvious to an outside observer? I love complex things. Perhaps this is because I am a very complicated person myself. But I believe that nothing is like it appears, that is why in my works I always hide things, details, hints that one day will help things to be clear (like many authors do, after all). When I wrote Underworld, I made several references to the fact that Liger, the main “enemy” of the story, was in fact Evan, Aurore’s adopted brother, like him playing with a Rubik cube, symbolizing his “triple identity”: Evan Kensington/Liger/Evandrus Delacroix or Aurore recalling that Evan’s favorite animals were the tiger and the lion and him claiming that it existed a hybrid called “liger”) but I noticed that my readers were too much in Aurore’s shoes that they could not noticed them at all (technically this is not a bad thing, since the surprise was shocking for Aurore and for them too XD). Only one reader suspected that Evan was Liger and the last living Delacroix (he made a fun parallel with Batman/Bruce Wayne’s story) after reading Celia’s backstory aaaaand… I know that I am going off at a tangent… XD Well, tagging time... whoever wants to do it! :) Fee free to do it!! :) I choose to not tag because I noticed that sometimes people are not interested, so I don’t want to bother... >_<
