to contrast that other anon ive been thinking about getting into saw to read your saw fics 😭 i saw some of the movies ages ago when i was too young to watch them so id have to begin from scratch i think

There's nothing worse than stumbling across a movie that you were too young to be watching. I like the Blair Witch Project movie well enough now, but as a very young kid... 💀

The Saw movies are a time. I can't say that they're... objectively good, but I love the franchise to absolute pieces and don't even want to know how many times my friend (@danime25) and I have marked them as rewatched on letterboxd. There's a genuine heart to them born from clearly being a passion project among friends that certainly dragged me in, so I'm biased and would say that they're worth a watch if you're open to horror movies! :)

I've been thinking about going to go see it, but it's hard to muster up the desire when I've really enjoyed other new releases this past month (Twisters, Longlegs) and still haven't dragged myself out of my cave to go see Alien: Romulus. I'll definitely give it a watch when it hits digital though!! I'm looking forward to it since you're right, I think I could really like Cooper. 👍
