huffing like a dog, mark slumped his body on top of yours, groaning loudly as his fingers stilled inside your body. you had mastered the art of fake coming sounds by now, so mark had absolutely no clue that his fingers did absolutely nothing to get you off.

really, you should feel bad for the guy. though in the end, he was nothing but a stuck up prick who thought he was god’s gift to the earth. he was also a complete dickhead, whining and complaining when you wouldn’t give up your virginity to him, to then go off and fuck camille like it was no big deal.

you were fucking miserable, and if it wasn’t for your parents breathing down your neck, you would’ve dumped his ass by now.

sitting up in your bed, you completely ignored mark as you moved to put your underwear back on. he was panting like he’d just run a marathon, and you had the urge to tell him that fumbling to find the clit for a good five minutes was not an olympic sport.

“there’s a party tonight babe, we should totally make an appearance.” mark’s words made you freeze, arms slowly fitting through the sleeves of your shirt. he always talked down to parties, saying that the people who went were junkie burnouts who had nothing better to do than drink and smoke their lives away.

there had to be a hidden motive, so with your brow raised, you turned around and gave him an expectant look.

sighing, mark ran a hand through his light blonde hair, biting on his lip in an awkward fashion. “camille told me about it. said this kid max from one of her classes was throwing it.”

and there it was. of course fucking camille was behind his recent change of direction, but you honestly couldn’t find it in yourself to care. standing up from the bed, you ignored mark as he rambled on about how he wasn’t going to drink and was just going for the company.

yeah, the company of camille’s thighs around his head.

“just give me a bit to get ready and then we can go.” you spoke out, cutting mark off from his incessant ramble off stuff you didn’t care about. when you thought such things like what just went through your head about mark, you knew you sounded like a right hand bitch. but mark was no saint either, and it wasn’t your fault that this relationship was built off of maintaining an image and not love.

walking into your bathroom, you closed the door behind you and leaned against the sink. looking at yourself in the mirror, you wondered what tonight would bring, and if saying yes to this party was a rather bad decision.

an hour had slowly ticked by, and you now found yourself standing in the middle of a packed student house. a lot of people were swarmed around you, and the music blaring through huge speakers didn’t help with the uneasy rattle in your bones.

mark had been in a piss mood all night, directing words such as ‘whore’ and ‘slut’ to the outfit you were wearing. it wasn’t even bad. a plain, denim mini skirt paired with a navy tank top was far from scandalous.

he just had a problem with anything you did, and if you weren’t dressed in a winter coat and snow pants, he’d have a problem either way.

funny thing was, you hadn’t even seen mark since you two got here. he’d run off somewhere, saying he had to meet up with someone and he’d be back. that was utter bullshit and you knew it even more now as you sat on the kitchen island, drink in hand as you watched people filter in and out.

stuck in a daydream, you didn’t even notice the cloud of smoke that flowed into the room when dean entered. he was all bad decisions and a little tipsy, but he knew what he was doing, and he knew that the pretty girl sitting lonely on the counter needed company.

“where’s mark?” you heard a familiar voice whisper in your ear. dean’s breath fanned the shell of your ear, and you shuddered at the feeling. when he circled around you at the counter, you had to bite back the blush that emerged on your cheeks.

yeah, dean winchester was a stoner asshole, but that didn’t make him ugly.

with a backwards cap on his head, you could see the tossled strands of his hair peaking out. his black t-shirt hugged his upper half exceptionally, and the jeans he donned fit his hips in a loose fashion, making him look more the bad type than you could ever imagine.

the smirk on his face was a testament to him knowing of your obvious ogling, but honestly, you couldn’t care.

shrugging when his question registered in your head, you took a tentative sip from your cup and tilted your head to the side. “no idea, ran off when we got here.” the look on dean’s face was thunderous for a quick second, but he masked it just as fast as it came.

“he’s a dick, ya know that right?” dean’s words came out with a sly grin on his lips, but his words came out gritted, like it was taking everything in him to get the words out.

dean hated mark. thought he was a pompous asshole who threw away the best girl he could ever get for someone else. you deserved so much more than that dick, and dean wanted to show you that.

he saw the rebellion and freedom that oozed out of your perfectly curated mask, and he wanted you to be allowed to show your real face.

he would just need to get rid of mark the asshole first.

though when dean watched you answer his question with a shrugging shoulder, eyes vacant of any emotion, he knew that whatever answer you had wasn’t going to be a good one. “yeah, i know that.”

and there it was.

dean’s heart breaking.

“why?” he asked, incredulous as he took another drag of his joint. “he treats you like shit, avidly cheats on you, and is possibly the biggest twat i’ve ever met.”

you laughed at his statement, hiding behind the rim of your cup as you looked up at him from your perch on the counter. “you wanna know why, winchester?” when dean nodded, you replied. “because i’m stuck. my parents paired us off, and if they found out i broke up with him, they’d be fucking pissed.”

“who cares what your parents think?” dean shot back, getting increasingly more angry at your situation. “it’s your life, not theirs. do whatever the fuck you want, princess.”

“that’s the thing,” a sad smile etched across your face, and dean watched as longing and devastation for a life you wish you could have crossed your face. “it is their life. i’m their perfect doll, one who could do no wrong. so if i have to deal with mark cheating on me behind closed doors, than that’s okay.”

it wasn’t okay, and you knew that. your parents made your self esteem so low that you felt mark cheating on you was okay. that it was something you could deal with.

you weren’t the perfect good girl because you wanted to be; you were trained. and as academically smart as you were, you were still your own person, and you wanted to live your life.

dean thought this was all bullshit, and weirdly, at this most perfect timing, he caught something from behind you in the living room that made his blood run cold.

“behind closed doors, you say?” dean asked with a menacing look on his face, and when you nodded, he got even angrier. “then why is mark currently shoving his tongue down camille’s throat right now?”

the heart in your rib cage stopped beating for a second, the feeling of it dropping to your stomach following after. with bated breath, you turned around to see where dean was looking, watching with horror as your boyfriend sloppily made out with another girl in front of a room of people.

there was no logical reason behind why mark doing something that usually made you feel nothing made you feel this devastated, but you had your suspicions.

he never cheated in public, never flaunted camille like he did with you. and maybe this was irrational, but mark doing this in front of a bunch of people was in no match to if he would do it in private.

it was a public humiliation, and you couldn’t stop the lone tear falling down your cheek at the realization of how naive and battered you were.

if your mom and dad were here, they’d tell you to get over it, that your image was most important. but you didn’t care, and you were starting to blame your parents more than mark.

but your parents weren’t here; dean was, and he was fucking livid.

as he watched tears drip down your cheeks at rapid succession, he felt the anger in his chest swell to in immense pain. he was never good with reeling in his emotions, always too hot headed for his own good, but it was usually manageable, something he could deal with.

but now, as he watched you cry over marks public humiliation of you, he saw fucking red.

taking one last aggressive hit of his joint, dean threw it somewhere beside him and mumbled something that sounded an awful lot like, ‘i’m going to fucking kill him,’ before tearing off towards the living room.

in long strides, dean pushed his way through the mass crowd of bodies before he got to where mark and camille were stood clinging to each other. aggressively, dean grabbed the back of mark’s shirt and pulled him off of camille, not giving him a second thought before driving his fist into his face.

“you’re fucking pathetic.” he sneered, fists in a dizzying flurry as he didn’t even let mark get one punch in. “disrespect your girl like that and act like it’s not a big deal? you’re fucking sick.”

pushing your way through the cheering and roaring crowd, you got to where you could see dean beating mark clear as day, with camille on the sidelines screaming like a banshee.

words were muffled over the roaring crowd, but the sound of mark sneering. “you junkie freak! getting riled up over that slut? it’s actually hilarious you care about her that much.”

mark’s words only fuelled dean’s fire more bright, and his fists started coming down even more, a sickening crack being heard when dean broke his nose.

you couldn’t be here anymore, and with frantic feet, you moved as far away from that house as possible, dean’s voice calling after you a whisper in your mind.

If Andrew has piercing/tattoos during

I for one am a huge fan of Andrew being into body mods. I have seen fanart that I adore where my guy's ears have 6 extra holes each, he has snake bites, an eyebrow if not both pierced, nostrils? septum? Heck yeah.

Tattoos in places clothes will cover or just after graduation. Tattoos that may or may not cover the old scars for reasons ranging from silence, those are birthmarks, I don't have tattoos, they make me feel bonita, to I don't need anyone's pity.

But also, for piercings during cannon, we gotta know that taking out piercings doesn't make the holes invisible. Sure, no one else cared enough or got close enough to Andrew or Aaron just in case Andrew to check if his ears were Swiss cheese but Neil after a close car ride would have noticed. If not the lack of cigarettes by Aaron's notably flat ass to Andrew's apparent cake, it would have been the piercings that gave him away. Unless the twins match those too for a while, or Neil was just too far away to see at that point.

Plus, we now got darling Jean wondering how Cody hasn't ripped their piercings out, hoping they remove them before each practice and game. Neil being more if not just equally as obsessed as Jean would have mentioned that too right? He cares about two(2) things and its Exy and Andrew, it would have been mentioned.

So, in my mind, Andrew absolutely goes ham on the mods, maybe they all do, just not visibly until after at least the first book where it no longer has mentionable relevance to Neil's safety needs to know who's who and knows Andrew's got it handled. First- yes. Jily is an amazing ship that can be wholesome and lovely, and is such a beautifully tragic form of love I will ALWAYS respect it and the people who ship it. Me personally, I don’t read fanfic with Jily, but I def engage with Jily related content bcs it’s GOOD.

But you see, people like you simply ruin it for those who are Jegulus shippers and want to Drabble in Jily because you are TOXIC.

No one is reducing Lily to a baby maker for Jegulus. In fact, I’ve seen more fics with TRANS REGULUS GETTING PREGNANT than I have with surrogate Lily. And even in the surrogate Lily fics, it’s usually well written and Lily has a personality beyond “baby maker” and is just a friend consensually agreeing to help a queer couple out with having a child.

There’s also fics where they co-parent Harry, and if that’s what you’re talking about AGAIN that’s literally normal. I’m a child of divorce, my parents co parent- that’s just how bloody divorce works it isn’t misogynist.

As for the canonical death eater bit- please tell me which part of the canon text refers to regulus being a blood purist. He joined Voldemort, correct, he also rebelled against Voldemort- correct. All of the reasons for him doing both of those things are ASSUMPTIONS MADE BY INFERENCES FROM A BIASED PERSPECTIVE.

Obviously you can have your own preferences on what regulus was like, as can I, because CANNON INFORMATION is LIMITED. Therefore, you can do what you want.

And even if it wasn’t you could still, do what you want BECAUSE ITS FICTIONAL.

Ok to celebrate Valentine's day and because I'm bored here are my thoughts on as many murder drones ships as I can think of

Nuzi- nice and sweet ship, just don't think about the age gap

Vuzi- a nice and sweet enemies to lovers

Envy- honestly I don't care for this ship, I don't dislike it but it's not a ship I actively look for fanart of but I don't mind when it does show up

Nuziv or nuvi or envuzi- the best of all worlds, the best ship for these 3 characters (but please decide on a name)

Juzi- it's kinda just vuzi but they never stopped hating each other (toxic Yuri let's gooooo)

Full company/Uzi x N x V x J- honestly the idea of Uzi of all drones stop the robo genocide by banging all the dissembly drones is so funny to me

Tuzi/Tessa x uzi- I'm kinda surprised that this isn't more popular, robot lover x human hater in my opinion it could be great

Cynuzi- it's one of the few ships that involve Cyn that I like

Thuzi- nuzi for people who don't like nuzi

Uzi x Doll- honestly surprised I don't see this more often, rival X main character it's a staple for fandoms

Uzi x Lizzy- bully Yuri or something I'm running out of things to say about Uzi ships

Uzi x Uzi- ah yes because Uzi didn't have enough ships

Oilrose- it's okay but I prefer other ships more

Codegold- I don't like the ship but I also think the part of the fandom that treats it like the most toxic thing ever is dumb

Cyn x J- ok I kinda vibe with this but I only really like it when it's just more Jessa angst with J wanting to be with Tessa and Cyn being the closest thing to her

Cyn x thad- I've seen like 1 person ship this and it was pretty cute fan art so it's approved

Khori- I think it's sweet and nice

I realized I never actually shared this here but for the Drakengard fans, a while ago I was cooking up a Drakengard 3 au inspired by another artist who I genuinely can’t find anymore. Such doubled as a swap au cause Knives as a protag really did and still kinda does interest me.

The whole concept was kinda exploring things from a plant perspective and like, the world REALLY being bad…like bad…and if you’ve watched that 6-7 hour video on Drakenier lore on YouTube you’d KNOW, that canonically there’s constantly different timelines that sometimes converge or diverge so I can make a lot of executive decisions like the watcher’s cult and the flower and what not.

In the instance of Rem project Seeds, in this medieval setting is a lot more like the Cult of Watchers with slightly different intentions like weapon research and mana extraction. They really do weirdly praise the Black Flower though, despite honestly hurting it. After migrating from the city, Rem is very curious about its existence and how it can help with the constant war and environmental crisis befalling Midgard, but is actually more interested in the stars. She’s a scholar at heart and is one to question a lot so I mean, forgive her for falling into the clutches of a cult, it’s a very drab time to be alive. She did her best.

On the topic of Zazie I know we already have Accord as someone who is canonically everywhere all at once as a recorder, but I thought in this au Zazie would really fit that role. They aren’t an android like her though, and are closer to the magical side of the spectrum where dragons and intoners are, just a lil higher. Pure black and a coat felt like a fitting design choice considering they’d be the most enigmatic as the unreliable narrator.

So funny but I actually started with Elendira cause she kinda deserves to be a Drakenier character idk?😭😭 From the style to her personality she’d just do very well in that setting! That said I have the most fun with her in this au cause she’s a breath of fresh air from the melodrama and gives, very little fucks? Her goals are very simple: to live and not simply exist, and to have her own dragon…naturally. It is Vash who takes her in in this au…but that only makes her quote unquote ‘worse’ because she deeply can not comprehend his values. That said, as much as she hates him she respects him. She only barely respects Knives if she does at all.

And on the most important little duo we have the twins who are, Intoners. The only two there is. Like I said Knives is the protagonist and his goal is simply to kill his brother. That’s it. (“They don’t even know how deep this is gonna go” I say in the shadows). I pretty obviously related him to Zero for this design. And just like Zero, he’s a pretty unconventional and bitchy protagonist and the whole question of ethics was already out the window 20 min ago. Have some plant twins as little tiny guys cause I never figured a design out for Vash as a heroic antagonist.

While I consider this au abandoned I re listened to that 7 hour Drakenier lore video and kinda fell in love with it again. I also have Meryl, LR and Legato literally sitting there cause they’re practically almost finished designs. You can ask about drakengard lore anytime but for the love of god never play that game series (it’s peak). Genuinely don’t touch it (best worst games in history, actual art pieces). I have a whole lore doc and a 1000+ one shot on Elendira based on the Drakengard 3 novellas I don’t know what to do with it please someone tell me what to do with it.

Have some rants about my fav Sonic ships

Trust me when I say this is not what I intended to do for Valentine's day, but my access to the proper materials for my next big project is currently fairly limited, so instead have this (I didn't think I had so much to say I got a bit carried away 👉👈). This is heavy with aro/ace/aroace discourse because as an aroace myself I cannot help it, and huh, reminder that this is just for fun and everyone's opinions are accepted around here as long as it's respectful :3

Espilver is so wholesome I am willing to temporaly remove the aromantic label I put on both these guys. And when an aroace person is ready to drop this label for a ship you know it has to be good. (They're still both asexual idc tho)

I am prone to shipping Sonic with pretty much everyone (elligible for that at least) while thinking he's the biggest aroace mood ever (but I know I am not alone on that one)

Since I've started posting Sonic fanart, there has not been a SINGLE sonadow ship art, but I still really love this ship. Like it's mostly what got me into Sonic in the first place but I don't want to draw it (honestly I think my mind is just drawn to less popular things, I mean sonadow is already everywhere on my dashboard)

Because (except for espilver) my top ships are sonjet and surgamy, I'm basically shipping your two main hedgehogs who are sometimes implied to have feelings for eachother in a gay relationship with a green person with spiky hair and an attitude, and I thought it was funny because it was NOT on purpose xD

Speaking of sonjet I have like three different timelines existing in my mind with this, because I love the "they never dated but they are definitely exes now"/"they tried smt some time ago it didn't work out" narrative, but also the one where Sonic can be the perfect boyfriend and respond to Jet's needs and issues I imagined for him, and also the one where Jet is a total girlfailure of a man who tries to rizz up someone who has zero clue.

I have thought over and over about Blaze ships and my mind just blocks it. At first I thought it was just Silvaze because I was overprotective of my Silver's orientation (when I first saw it I thought "yeah he's aroace", and I'm not a fan of shipping a guy and a girl just because they interact with eachother and are close). But it's everything. Sonaze? I mean she blushed around him on several occasions, so what? I feel like she's just not used to social interaction. Blazamy? I see the fluff, I see the awesome lesbian couple (and I'm an Utena fan, I gotta love the pink/purple yuri), but it doesn't light up anything in me. Are they any other Blaze ships? Idk, but I can't see her with anyone romantically. Never has a character given me so much aroace vibes that the very forces of nature are preventing me to ship her.

Vectilla activates my brain chemistry like crazy. TF you mean the only "sega-approved" ship is between two grown ass people who are not even part of the main character group? And one is a single mother too? Like it's very simple but it's already a norm breaker in my opinion. Though usually a bunch of male characters have their own personally-crafted love interest, they fall in love for no reason and the love is immediately reciprocal because of course it is (*cough* looking at you ninjago). I think it also work because both Vector and Vanilla have their own things going on, and the romance is just a nice plus. And since Team Chaotix is already the peak of Sonic found family, it's also cool to think about the shenanigans with the children (aka Espio, Cream and Charmy). I am a strong Vectilla shipper and I will make you care about them >:)

Today is Valentine's Day, but it also marks one year since Miraculous Ladybug re-entered my life!

I discovered the show a bit before the English dub released back in 2015, watching it mainly in Korean with subtitles. It was so exciting seeing more and more people talk about this obscure little french cartoon once the dub came out!

But with increasing popularity came...other things. Art theft, harassment, young kids not really understanding how to behave in fandom spaces, and then Astruc himself replied sarcastically to a comment I'd made under one of his tweets (though in retrospect what he said was actually pretty funny). Then I had to end a really big friendship with someone I'd met because of the show, and I found myself in a weird position. Keep watching the show I loved, even though doing so made me uncomfortable due to those negative associations, or drop it entirely?

So I dropped it entirely. I put all the dolls and action figures somewhere I wouldn't be able to see them. Started a new account where I could engage with other fandoms. I stopped writing and reading Miraculous fanfic, stopped making Miraculous fanart, and forced myself to fixate on other things.

Years passed, and eventually, the thought of the show stopped making me feel so uncomfortable. I still couldn't bring myself to watch it, but I started a rewrite project, trying to fix the things I remembered not enjoying about the first two seasons of the show (which was all I'd seen at the time). I bought a couple of the new Miraculous dolls, super jealous that Kids These Days are getting so much better merch than I had when I was a fan of the show. Got some of the kwami blind bag kwami figures too, and I developed a habit of keeping one with me in my bag when I went to work.

That rewrite project never went very far, since I was hoping to do my own take on the episodes, and most of the episodes had become a distant memory by that point. In fairness, it had been like 6 years. I'd have to rewatch the show, and I still wasn't ready for that.

Then, on this day last year, something happened. I was staying at my parents house after an especially stressful work week, and I was browsing Netflix. And what would be on the front page, but Miraculous Ladybug: The Movie.

I had vivid memories of binging the show on Valentine's Day as a kid. I used to really associate the day with Marinette and Adrien, so Valentine's Day felt a bit like a nice opportunity to appreciate a ship that made me so happy.

So I watched the movie, justifying to myself that it wasn't like I was watching the show, it was just one movie and it would probably suck anyway.

But it didn't suck. It very much didn't suck. In fact, I LOVED it. It brought back so many memories, the love square was so sweet, the kwamis were such a cool idea, Hawkmoth was so fun, the akumas were so creative, Marinette and Adrien were so cute! It reminded of all the things I used to legitimately love about the show, rather than the stuff I didn't. When I was watching the movie, I wasn't thinking about that friendship that ended, or the art that got stolen. I was thinking about these kids, how much I loved them, and how much I loved their story. And I realised something that, in retrospect, should have been obvious.

It wasn't the SHOW that made me uncomfortable. It was my negative associations related to it. The show did nothing wrong, it was always fun and always made me happy. It was my bad experiences themselves that tainted it.

So I thought it over, and decided to continue the show from where I left off, even if the thought of doing so made me feel kind of sick and uncomfortable.

And I liked it. No, I didn't just like it-- I LOVED it. It was so fun?? And interesting??? And--wait oh my god is that PLOT?! Wait wait wait Marinette is overwhelmed???? I've felt like that!!! And--oh!!! Who is this Félix guy?? He's a reference to the pilot!! And he's so fun!! And Kagami? I remembered her being a boyfriend stealer but she's actually not at all and she's actually really sweet??? And Alya!!! Ride or die bestie Alya!!!

Needless to say, I couldn't stop watching after that. I binged seasons 3 and 4 in the span of I think two days, then immediately moved on to season 5, and I had a wonderful time. I was also a lot happier in general. It felt like I'd regained a part of myself that I'd lost, or rather, willingly left behind.

I know there's a lot of discourse online about whether or not the show is good, about if its even worth watching, but to me, that stuff sincerely doesn't matter. Miraculous Ladybug makes me very happy, which is why you'll never see me engage in Miraculous Ladybug salt discussions. I can critique it sometimes, but I've spent enough time looking down on this show. I'd rather love it for what it is and appreciate the joy it's always brought me.

So yes, today isn't just Valentine's Day. It's the anniversary of the day Miraculous Ladybug came back into my life, and the day I regained a piece of myself I'd long forgotten.

I loved the movie so much, I started binging Miraculous Ladybug for the first time in a long time, and I'm having a blast, so I wanted to draw something! It's actually based on a piece I drew in 2016 and then redrew in 2017. I think I've come a long way as an artist, and I'm so proud of the improvement!
