Actually it’s because I had a dream where my twin sister (who I hated) had died years ago, then I became a dancer with one of those celebrity lookalike/impersonator people, but she was pretending to be my sister instead of a celebrity and I wished my real twin sister was there to dance with me because I got along with the impersonator and would have loved to get along with my real twin sister as well.

I do not have a twin sister. I also hate dancing. It was a weird dream.

I think about that too often alflfk Time travel aside, from a canon perspective Chuck created so many worlds there's no way there aren't/weren't other versions of Lucifer besides the one AU!Michael killed (I'm not counting canon Endverse Lucifer as real because Zachariah created Endverse, but Chuck could have created a world in which the events of the Endverse timeline actually occured). Imagine S5 Lucifer learning the truth about all these parallel universes and meeting a version of himself that never fell because Michael is the Devil/because God left his world before he created humans... A version of him that ran away Gabriel-style after he got out of the Cage, or a version that killed Michael. Depending on the number of worlds Chuck made Lucifer wouldn't need to time travel at all (+wouldn't have to worry about time paradoxes and accidentally erasing himself or his loved ones from the timeline, which is a great bonus) to meet an actual past version of himself that went through the exact same experiences as him because as a lazy writer Chuck probably "copy pasted" some worlds - and considering his obsession for Sam and Dean it's highly probable he copy-pasted that specific world over and over and only tried to alter the timeline after Sam and Dean were born

As gen-AI becomes more normalized (Chappell Roan encouraging it, grifters on the rise, young artists using it), I wanna express how I will never turn to it because it fundamentally bores me to my core. There is no reason for me to want to use gen-AI because I will never want to give up my autonomy in creating art. I never want to become reliant on an inhuman object for expression, least of all if that object is created and controlled by tech companies. I draw not because I want a drawing but because I love the process of drawing. So even in a future where everyone’s accepted it, I’m never gonna sway on this.

i’ve started babysitting for a VERY christian family which is great because they pay me a lot of money but as someone who was raised almost completely agnostic it’s kind of insane. the 2 year old keeps asking me to read her stories from the bible. (why are we reading david and goliath to a 2 year old????) the 5 year old told me today that he was going to bring his legos to heaven with him. he also has repeatedly told me that the lego spaceships he builds are stronger than jesus. (not sure what to say to that. do i deny it??? are things allowed to be stronger than jesus??) had to stop myself mid sentence today because i almost told them im not going to heaven which would DEFINITELY have caused several meltdowns. they’re also both completely fascinated by my nose ring

Saw people talking about not liking first person, which is fair, but their reasoning was like "I would not do that" and I don't understand that mindset.

First person stories are still about a character. A character making their own decisions. First person isn't about you???? At least I thought it wasn't. What am I missing? I've always seen first person as just a more in-depth look into a character's mind and stricter POV. Not as a reader stand-in.
