hiring channel in my server cafe dot

work with indies, remote game jobs, reddit subs

reaching out to indie studios and shooting your shot (works better than you think, sometimes u just need the audacity)

there are some more niche ways based around certain communities. twitch pixel artists + streamers end up doing overlays and emotes for people. stream avatars commissions if you join the discord server for the app. it depends on your interests and communities

genuinely being a part of a community is helpful and people who like you will wanna commission you (as opposed to being 'that guy' who dms everyone like hey please commission me)

if you dont have an audience yet work on that. keep putting yourself out there and getting so big they cant ignore you

Okay so, how do we feel about:

Duul Aman (Tucker Foley's previous/first incarnation) is a child king of Egypt, his kingdom is on shaky footing after the assassination of his father, but then, a pair of winged guardians fall from the heavens in a boat made of metal that prove that Aman is the rightful king. Cater and Shayera crashed on Earth accidentally and just want to go home (there is no ancient aliens-ing happening, they don't build the pyramids or take over or whatever, they're just kinda there).

Aman takes oddly well to them actually being aliens and learns their tech despite being from a pre-electricity society. Aman was already learning magic and alien technology just happens to be very similar, specifically in the mindset one needs to learn them but also a kind of "science and magic are two roads to the same destination, and double tracking is permitted" type situation. He helps them repair their ship and they help him become a good king, they even find the man who killed his father and bring him to justice. The three of them practically adopt each other.

Before the Thanagarians leave, Aman believes so wholly that these two are just meant to be his guardians and mentors, he voluntarily joins their reincarnation cycle. Every lifetime, Carter and Shayera fall in love with each other and end up befriending/mentoring/adopting Aman before the three of them are torn apart again for the cycle to continue.

I could be completely misinterpreting how the Hawk people work, I've only seen them in Justice League, so I'm not an expert in any stretch of the imagination.
