dragon age update!! finished origins for the second time ever :3

#this also makes it the Only da game i've completed more than once #i did wayyy more sidequests this time too #gonna replay awakening and then onward to da2!!#i may or may not replay dai. if only because i'm pretty heavily switching up my warden and my hawke but.#if it's inquisition it's gonna be steve again .#like . for dao i switched origins switched romances switched major choices . leliana died and wynne left and anora became queen.#switched my specializations completely . very different relationship with alistair #for my hawke im gonna switch classes. gonna do additional romances and both siblings are gonna be there (not sure if it's gonna stick but-#-it's how i'm playing it #sebastian will be there .#im also prob gonna download some sort of cosmetic mods so that i can make a hawke whose appearance im actually satisfied with for once #honestly maybe just a mod to get the blood smear should be fine. but who knows #but my inquisitor? still steve.#ill either painfully recreate him again or i'll use the save i made from as Soon as you can save and just start from there.#he'll romance josie again . he'll be besties with sera again. he'll be close with dorian again . he'll sleep with bull again .#the only real major changes are i think he'll spend more time with vivienne and be closer with her for sure. same thing with blackwall.#and im considering siding with the templars because i hear that quest is a banger and im curious.#the other thing is ive found replaying origins that i have WAY more context for some of the stuff i didn't really get my first time around #so who knows. maybe i'll make completely different decisions.#OH. and actually the rammies of my dao playthrough are kind of gonna rule actually. in comparison to my og worldstate #i do actually want to play through here lies the abyss with alistair as a warden .#and lyrium ghost leliana is a little silly however . lyrium ghost morriana absolutely slaps and it's made soooo funny by. well.#the fact that my warden had a budding relationship with leliana then she killed her then a bit later she got with morrigan #then they had sex to save the wardens life and morrigan dipped #also zevran was there the whole time.#so actually maybe i will replay dai. we shall see.#hang on i failed to mention the warden's political marriage to anora. god i love mods that let me create such fun situations #daposting

#poorly drawn mdzs #mdzs #wei wuxian #wen qing #wen ning #Sibling similarity but you only see it when you realize they have the same soggy eyes.#These two always struck me as a bit of a play on Jiang Cheng and Jiang Yanli for 'siblings who contrast each other.#But after spending a lot more time marinating on Wen Ning I actually think they are way more similar that is initially apparent.#Sure their surface level personality traits are pretty contrastive. But they both are so willing to risk their lives for what's right #Who raised them? In a story so full of examples of how parents shape their children - why are these two lacking in parents?#I imagine that Wen Qing is the older sibling and so her morals of 'help those who need it no matter who they are' got passed a long.#But how did *she* arrive there? Was that instilled within her or was it a reaction against bearing witness to callousness and cruelty?#We'll never know..the only thing I can say for certain is Wen Qing is *so* soggy in the audio drama.#She's like the ant with the bindle. It's a hell of a way to bring a previously sharp tongued character back into the narritive.#Side note: Thank you all for being so patient and kind while I took my break!#It's been a very chaotic few weeks and I didn't realize how bad my burnout was getting. I'm back and ready to keep drawing again!

I swear to God, it was an accident.

My (27) BF (34) has a reputation for getting himself out of any jam you can imagine; and at first it was just a fun little thing the friend group noticed: there goes Oily J wiggling his way out of trouble again. but as the meme evolved in the group, it got to the point where we'd loykey started getting him into situations just to see how he'd get out of 'em, and he akept getting out of em. He was having fun with it too same as us. "Oh you guys," he'd say, "getting me into situations again," before laughing it off and getting out of it, so it was enrichment for our shared enclosures, and as time went on, the situations got more intense.

The trouble is, it turns out that putting a man in too many situations eventually gets the police interested. And not local hobsknockers cops either; they was like, proper three-letter FEDs. They put out a bounty on any information pertaining to his capture and everything. It was good money too so I thought, hey why don't I put J in another situation he can wiggle out of like always (and he'd wiggled outta worse before, so I thought this one'd be relatively mild), and at the next boardgame night (cause it was too late to do anything special for this one) we can buy some extra strong booze and get absolutely blitzed while having a giggle about the situation.

Boardgame night, and we were playing some social deduction nonsense or another and he says: "One of you is gonna betray me tonight." and I can't help but think, looking back on it, that he knew. It's stupid, I know he was talking about the game, but the way he said it, it was like he knew. We all felt it, and we had a big round robin round the table taking turns promising that we'd never betray him. And I said it so easily cause I thought it was true. Sure, I was gonna talk to the feds about a bounty; but, I fully expected my big beautiful oily boy to wiggle his way out of the trouble I was 'bout to cause, and that's not a betrayal. I wasn't lying. I didn't think I was lying.

My big beautiful oily boy didn't manage to wiggle his way out of it. They killed him and I got my blood money. He's gone.

He's gone and I'm devastated, crying, mourning. I loved him so much. We all did. And I can't stop thinking that it's my fault: that I'm the reason he's gone. and it is. and the guilt is eating me up inside. and I just need to talk to someone about it. So, I tell the rest of the group what happened in the group chat, hoping they'd understand that I didn't want this. I didn't want the government's blood money. It was supposed the be a prank. some joint enclosure enrichment. He was supposed to wiggle out of it like he always does... did, i mean.

They call me, among worse things, the asshole and kick me from the group chat. And, I know it's my fault he's dead: I know that. If I didn't do what I did, he wouldn't be dead right now. But, I didn't mean it for it to end up this way. He was supposed to be okay, damn it. I loved him. AITA?
