-n and v learned all the constellations because Uzi is a huge star nerd and they occasionally call her starboy

-all of them are severely touch starved but Uzi tends to be touch recessive at the same time because she taught herself how to live without drone (human) touch

-in my Wall-e! AU Uzi actually had a crush on n and v for a while and was genuinely freaking out over it, and then eventually the crush on n dissapered but it still remained on v

-as shown in episode 6 uzis tail has a mind of its own so from time to time the tail just randomly chews on n's hat or v's jacket

-also since we're on the subject of tails, tail holding is a common thing that happens between them. Like they'll just be standing talking and suddenly there tails intertwine like hands would

So I hate facetime but have two small nephews who live very far away and wanted them to know who I was. So when second nephew was born, I started sending first nephew (4 years old) a postcard every week.

The content wasn't anything special. I made cookies, I saw this flower, my cats did this. He likes trucks and machinery so I scoured redbubble for anything related to machinery and got a giant batch of machine postcards. Whenever I traveled, I'd hunt down a postcard for him.

My second nephew turned four this year, and I started sending him postcards as well. Both of them like Pokemon now, so mostly it's been double Pokemon postcards every week. I don't hear much from them, or my sister, so I just generally hope they're enjoyed and try to remember to mail them before Sunday.

However. This week my mom informed me second nephew likes the postcards SO MUCH he brings them into daycare to show around. And when I shared that with my sister, she told me not only does he bring them into daycare, he sleeps with them at naptime.

The only higher honor would be for her to tell me he's eating them.

People often told me that as long as I tried my best, even if I failed, it'd be okay because at least I gave it my best shot and like. Yeah okay I get what they meant by that but holy shit did it fuck me up for a lot of my life. I constantly was yelling at myself for not trying hard enough in any and everything, especially school. Especially especially before my ADHD diagnosis. I didn't realize until pretty recently that my best shot is not something I can force out. That just trying at all was more than good enough. And just because I didn't give something my best doesn't mean I didn't care or deserved less than others. It was just genuinely difficult to even get up to try. Because just trying is more than enough. I just didn't realize it then.
