@thunder-tober Day Prompt: 1 - Trouble (combined with day 2 - Protection) Characters: Virgil Tracy, Thunderbird Two Word count: 570

I really wanted to write at least one crossover with a Transformer, and this felt like the perfect opportunity >w< alas, I may be slightly rusty with this one, but anyway x'D He wants something from them. Thunderbird Two won't let him get it. Virgil's just trying not to get stepped on...! (who 'he' is? that's up to the reader's imagination~)

“I have no idea of anything you just said…”

“What’s this? Trying to protect him? What are you going to do? Fight me!?”

Virgil pushed himself off the ground. He had to get up, had to get away. His body ached from that fall, but he managed to find his feet to drag himself out of harm’s way. This robot had come out of nowhere, and it certainly wasn’t anything like they’d seen. Thunderbird Two hadn’t had much time to react when she’d suddenly been barrelled into, and unfortunately lost her grip on her pilot. She missed being able to check if he was okay before being assaulted again… Dust was stirred around them as Virgil slipped away, ducking to hide behind a large rock cropping but still keep watch of his Thunderbird. The 'trouble' that had been reported turned out to be a trap, it seemed…

::I can be there in 10 minutes… Virgil, what the hell’s going on?!::

“Hate to shut you down, Scott, but I don’t want anyone else over here at the moment!” second-eldest protested, flattening himself against the rock when the two 'bots approached his position, just missing his hiding spot by mere inches. “I’m having a hard enough time solo as is-!”

He winced at scraping metal, shifting his gaze to look up. Thunderbird Two had a hand twisted around the other robot’s wing; VTOLs on her shoulders flaring as she kept her balance. The flier could only smirk, keeping his blaster pointed at a spot between her optics.

“Impressive. Are you sure you’re not Cybertronian-?”

“Shut up,” the cargo ship ground out. Rescue vehicle aside, she wasn’t letting him touch her pilot. She’d do her best to protect him from this threat, no matter what. “You made a mistake going after him.”

“To get to you, of course. And you’ve responded so well,” came the sneered response; the more lithe of the two behemoths still clearly uncomfortable in her grip.

“You’re quite insistent, even though I still have absolutely no idea what a Cybertronian is…”

Another resounding clang of metal on cahelium, and Virgil had to shield himself as the sound thundered around him. Just when he thought he’d been safe, he’d ended up in the middle of their squabble again. Without a second thought, he got to his feet and ran.

“No..! Captain!”

He’d stumbled at the cry, but Thunderbird Two had been quicker. Her attacker had spun out of her grip and made a reach for her pilot, but the green craft had managed to catch his other wing and yank him aside, upsetting a shot into the rock-side. Virgil paced back as far as he could before he stopped running and turned back to watch them. John was calling his name through the comms, but was deafly ignored. Thunderbird Two hauled the smaller robot up by a crook in his armour, half-minding his flails and attempts to win back the upper hand.

“You’re just a piece of worthless Earth technology! A mindless machine! … Unhand me, you… you…!”

“If you call me a Cybertronian one more time, I will tear your wings off…” Two muttered. But she wouldn’t, because it wasn’t in her spark to. The threat felt good to call though. She then narrowed her optics, giving the Decepticon a hard shake. “I’m a Thunderbird of International Rescue, and no one gets in the way of us doing our job.”

IMAGINE THIS: Lil baby Damian, bored and being not quite old enough to start learning how to use proper weapons (curse these wooden ones, he wants true steel!) is wandering the base. This is not out of the ordinary, he’s the prince after all. What is out of the ordinary is that his shadow, his Akhi, is not here. 

Technically, he should be napping, but he woke up and neither his mother or his brother- who is quiet but gentle and isn’t a good speaker (mother said it was from a head injury)- is there. Which is how he finds his way to the Pit, which he’s not supposed to be at. Or at least not alone. 

But! His mother and Akhi are there! And- and Akhi is screaming and he’s never heard him scream like that, like he’s in agony- His eyes are green- they were blue, had, had Mother placed him in the Waters- 

And then the pool is bubbling- he should be running away, get assistance or something, he’s five, he shouldn’t be running towards it when everything is screaming to flee. But one moment he’s at the doorway, the next he’s clinging to his akhi as something writhes in the Pit, a mighty bellow echoing even as the Shadows take defensive positions. 

The water cascades, laps at their feet, splashes everywhere as a scaled form rises from the depths, wings like a bloodied sunset spreading as fur bursts into flames. Crimson eyes glare down at them all, pupils slits as they bare down at his Akhi. 

The creature- the dragon- dips its head down, its breath warm as it chuffs at his akhi, wings folding as though it is bowing. His akhi is clinging to Mother, shivering, several scars glowing as they fade and a burst of hair burned white. 

Oh.
