When I made a post complaining about nobody talking about Arshad Nadeem, the 2024 Olympic gold medalist of javelin throw who made the Olympic Record, I didn't do that to invite political debaters completely disregarding what I meant to say and instead attaching replies about their personal issues and opinions with Olympics that have nothing to do with Arshad Nadeem's win or my frustration that a Pakistani athlete making a huge accomplishment got instantly swept under the rug and forgotten about which nobody here would do if it was say, a Western athlete making the same accomplishment

i appreciate people adding #anti [shipname] tags because i have those tags filtered if i don't want to see negative things about it

like. if you say the full name of the characters or ships (which i appreciate over astrix-filled vagueblogging when i follow someone), it'll show up in the searches

if you tag it #anti shipname, people can easily filter it out

Ive said this before but swear the biggest skill to learn as an adult is how to resist high-pressure sales tactics. You do NOT have to answer questions with anything other than "Sorry I'm not interested." No matter how nice they are or no matter how many follow up questions they ask or even how agitated they get when you stand your ground. Just keep saying I'm not interested. Don't answer their questions. Don't give them an opening to try to push back on your reasons. Be a fucking brick wall of I'm not interested.

Sorry to be that person, but "girl math" doesn't mean "girls are bad at math". It's a way of saying "how many women use math irl"

Like "If I get hit with armor, it doesn't count because my health remains the same"

Or "I returned $30 and spent $5, that's a net positive, so I basically got this for free"

Not that girls literally don't understand math and don't get that things cost money. It's a simplification of thought processes and analysis, actually implying high-level thinking, not "girls are so bad at math we don't even try"

I know, it's not that serious, but taken out of context it sounds worse than it is.

I feel like this has to be said, since it’s becoming increasingly popular to be extremely rude to ppl and trash on their interests (especially on tumblr)

You can enjoy any media you like despite what losers on tumblr tell you that you should and shouldn’t enjoy, be it music, books, or shows and movies. If you’re having fun and enjoying yourself that’s all that matters, lame ass ppl on this site will try and make u feel guilty about what you enjoy and I think that’s stupid as fuck

Listen to pop, watch that popular show, read that book that everyone claims is bad. Who cares, ppl are way too obsessed with being different and unique that they’ll try and squash your interests and enjoyment to make themselves seem interesting

Bottom line, just treat people with kindness and don’t diminish their interests, it’s such a shitty thing to do
