hi this might be weird or idk sad but... what kind of dog is sabine? my dog who was my best friend for almost 8 years passed so suddenly like 2 years ago (wow 2 years already...) and when I see sabine I am reminded of him. not that i want to replace him... but sabine seems like such a good pup. and you seem like such a good pup parent. when you got sabine I remember thinking "oh good for them 🩷" and I have been looking at all of your pup posts and feeling so happy for you! is sabine as good as she seems? is that breed easy to train? are they sociable? easygoing? how do you train her? is she going to get big? pls (if you want) tell me abt sabine

So, as you have so kindly invited me to do so... BEHOLD!! My precious baby Sabine (beanie baby, runner bean, baby bean, baked bean, magic bean, mean bean, beanington, my little Crème Brûlée, my fierce fluffy mandalorian)

She is such a wonderful little pup, so full of love and mischief! She is a cockerpoo just like my own late beloved baby belle, but her coat is growing to be more cock than poo so far, which is the opposite to how belles turned out so brushing her is easier but so is getting grubby!

Beanie gets so many complements on how well behaved she is, it helps that she really loves treats and attention! The six training classes I took her to gave her a big boost with socialising and redirecting her attention when necessary! Sabine absolutely loves a good cuddle and bringing me little rocks she finds and nibbling big baby Rosie's ankles for fun.

I keep a little pack of treats with me at nearly all times so I can make sure to reward her for any good behaviours or redirect any unwanted ones, it helps that I have plenty of time to focus on just her I guess!

She's just passed 6 months old now, so she's still got a bit of growing to do, but it's definitely slowed down! She's so delicate and small under all that fluff, I think she'll definitely fill out a bit at least!

Baby-on-baby violence, big baby Rosie lets Sabine win sometimes. Even though she could defeat her with one giant baby paw.

And Sabine has her own little sun tent because she refuses to go into the shade without me, just like baby belle did.

What would be your dream crossover involving paw patrol?

I spent THE LONGEST TIME not knowing how to answer this because I have just TOO MANY CROSSOVER IDEAS and I'm known for being unable to pick ONE favorite on most stuff in my life - heck, even for the pups I have four favorites with three others being close seconds... Don't ever ask me about favorite Digimon or Pokémon, I literally just CAN'T.

But now I've had an epiphany here...

Paw Patrol Dino Rescue + the Paleo Pines game. That's it. Gimme Rex and Lucky being the best of friends and my soul will ascend.

1. What memory would your OC rather just forget?

Can everything count? I don’t think, once the sessions and such are done for, when continua is established, he wants to remember very much. For an individual answer, I think it would be the slow dawning of realization that Calfuray was most certainly going to be the one to predominate

2. What's something about your OC that people wouldn't expect just from looking at them?

Hmm. I don’t know. Maybe that he actually ends up liking theatre after they’re all separated and Continua is in place

3. What is your OC's fatal flaw? Are they aware of this flaw?

I don’t think he’s truly built with a singular fatal flaw, more a set of dominos that sets off events, but if I had to choose one, it would likely be his fear of death, it’s all consuming and has dictated a large portion of his life, it’s his personal tragedy

4. When scared, does your OC fight, flee, freeze or fawn?

It really depends on the point in the story, if he’s still in the body? Flee, he isn’t about to get not only him, but his siblings killed too, he’s much more scared, believes the only thing that can save him is his wit, and it says to escape the danger as quick as possible

Once he gets to his planet? Even godtiers? He’s more likely to fight, he comes teeth bared with no holding back

5. How far is your OC willing to go to get what they want?

Very far, he was willing to devote his life to figure how to get out, after all

6. How easily could your OC be convinced to do something that goes against their moral compass?

It’s not necessarily that it’s easy, it’s just that he has very little of one to begin with. I think the only hard line he has is at actually killing either of his siblings, and that is not something that will budge without great reason

7. What's one way your OC has changed since you first came up with them?

I honestly thought he was going to come off as a lot more snooty and pretentious, he was gonna be a lot more smug! However, as soon as his fear was established, and his motivations secured, he became a characters that’s a lot less,,,performative, about his knowledge, and instead one that is borderline obsessed in its pursuit. it’s life and death for him, in more ways than one

8. Would your OC ostensibly be able to get away with murder?

Maybe..He could absolutely kill, and I think he doesn’t have many qualms with it, surprisingly enough. But I don’t think he could really hide it completely. It depends why with what point he’s at, but I think no matter what, he’ll come to a bit of a very slow realization that if he can do that to someone, someone could just as easily do it to him, it messes with his head a bit.

10. What's an AU that would be interesting to explore with your OC?

Cat AU! He’s a snake! Stryss drags him outside if he’s hissing at other cats too much

Cotl au is very neat to me too, but I have less ideas for it, just rotates in my brain sometimes

AU where he would be the one to predominate would also be very interesting, if he isn’t motivated by fear, then why does he still go into science, why does he still want them separated?

11. What is your OC's weapon of choice? Have they ever actually used it?

I don’t think he has one, it’s whatever he can get his hands on. Calbhach rarely fights when he doesn’t have to, but when he does, he fights incredibly dirty.

Would still prefer ranged weapons, I think

12. Is your OC self-destructive? In what ways?

Absolutely! He tends to forgo sleep and even occasionally food and drink in order to keep up with his projects. Also trying (even if subconsciously) to bring tensions back whenever the three finally get separated. Although he hated living in fear, I think he hates change too.

13 If you met your OC, would the two of you get along?

Honestly, I could see it! He’s kinda a prick at times, but I could certainly find some enjoyment from talking about or listening to science stuff from him

14. How does your OC want to be seen by other characters?

Real and Alive and Permanent.

No!

16. What is your OC's pain tolerance like?

Hard to say. I’m not quite sure, leaning towards it being low though

17. What is the worst thing you have put your OC through story-wise?

His period on prospit, maybe. Also his death to godtier, he dies alone.

18. Is your OC more cold and detached or up close and personal?

Generally quite cold and detached, but tends to warm up a small bit if stuff along the lines of biology or chemistry is mentioned

19. How does your OC behave when enraged?

He usually either leaves to go forget about it or leaves to go plan, probably very petty, revenge. It honestly all really depends on what got him so worked up

20. Does your OC have a tendency to get jealous? If so, how does this manifest?

Yeah. I don’t think he does much about it but seethe to himself, tries to reason on the rationality of it to make himself feel better and drop it (it doesn’t really work)

21. Does your OC have any illnesses or disorders? How do they handle it?

If anything, I think I’d say Anxiety and/or paranoia, especially over the thought of death and crowds. And he doesn’t

22. What character alignment would you consider your OC to be?

Idk! I think he’s real complicated and character alignment is just a bit hard to fit into nuance! If I had to uhhhh, Neutral? Neutral Evil?

23. What emotion is the hardest for your OC to process? How about express?

Process, Guilt,

24. What is an alternative life path your OC might have gone down? How different would their life be if they'd made those decisions?

If he didn’t try to fight so hard against his fate, he probably would’ve had an incredibly different life. I don’t know if he would’ve been any happier

25. What is your favorite thing about your OC?

Honestly? He’s just a little guy to me! I love playing around with a character who is pretty self-centered and has so many thoughts! It’s fun playing with his kinda personal tragedy stuff, he becomes what he feared in some ways! I liked him developing into an actual character a lot! I just really like thinking about him and his siblings, they’re all so interesting and the stuff they have weaved together is just, the greatest to me. It’s sad and tragic and very fun!
