!2003 bill x !gn reader
!2007 bill later on
Bill’s POV
Year: 2003
Location: Leipzig Germany
Month: December
“Hey bill!” Y/N said while sitting next to me. “Oh hey!” I smiled. I had a crush on Y/N for a while but I was afraid to tell them. “Wanna play in the snow later after school?!” Y/N smiled and i nodded quickly. “Of course! Can the others come too?” I smiled widely and Y/N nodded. “Yeah of course, the more the merrier!” Y/N giggled and we both laughed for a bit and then payed attention to class.
Y/N’s POV
“Ma! Can I go play with Bill and the others for a bit?” I asked while running downstairs with my outfit already ready. “Okay but remember we have to be up early tomorrow.” She yelled from the kitchen and I nodded and ran outside. I ran to Bill’s house and saw them all playing outside. “Hi guys!” I smiled and they all looked at me. “Hey! We were wondering if you could make it.” Bill smiled while hugging me and I chuckled. “Of course I could make it.” I giggled and went to play with them.
“Ouch! Tom!” I felt a snowball go directly on my face. “Oopies I guess?” He shrugged his shoulders and I threw a snowball at him. “Hey!” He shouted while wiping his face. “That’s what you get!” I say while running and he starts to run after me with a grin on his face. I kept running but I felt someone grab me and pick me up a bit. “Hey!” I said while kicking my feet but I saw it was georg. “Stop it you two. Let’s all just have some fun!” Georg chuckled and put me down.
“Come on guys, let’s make a snow angel!” I smiled and jumped on my back into the snow. Bill jumped next to me and looked at me while giggling and we both looked at enough and then I got an idea. “Let’s take a photo with our snow angels side by side with our name!” I say while getting up a putting my name next to my snow angel and bill did the same. Bill ran inside to grab his camera and came back out and took a picture.
We all giggled and then I heard my mom yelling for me. “Y/N! Y/N! It’s time to come back now!” My mom yelled and I yelled okay and then looked at the others. “I have to go guys.” I pouted and they all sighed. “Aww..will you come back tomorrow?” Bill asked and I froze when he asked that question. I was about to answer but my mom yelled my name again and I got up. “I’m sorry guys! I gotta go! Goodbye!” I ran away while waving and they waved back.
Third persons POV
“Wait..did they just say goodbye?” Bill’seyes widen and looked at the others. “Goodbye means when they are leaving leaving..” He said with fear in his voice. “They probably didn’t mean it.” Gustav reassured and Georg agreed. “But..they can’t leave, I still haven’t told them how I felt yet.” Bill said and Tom hugged him. “Its okay..we are pretty sure they meant bye. They would’ve told us if they were leaving leaving.”
One day later
“Come on Y/N, the truck is about to leave!” Y/N’s mom yelled while putting the last of our boxes in the truck. “Wait a moment ma, just please!” Y/N said while running to Bill and Tom’s house. Y/N knocked on the door loudly and started to get impatient when no one opened it. Y/N knocked about twice and then saw Bill opening the door while yawning and rubbing his eyes. “What’s wrong Y/N?” He asked and Y/N hugged him. “I’m moving to the USA, I’m sorry I didn’t tell you guys sooner!” Y/N said and Bill’s sleepy eyes now turned into widen one’s. “What?” He said surprised. “I don’t have much time before I leave, I’m sorry!” Y/N say in a hurry and was about to leave but bill stopped them. “Wait! Please! Have this scarf..so you don’t forget me.” He said while running in the house real quick and came back with a red scarf. “Take it, please!” He begged and Y/N smiled softly and took it. “Thank you.. I’ll keep it forever.” Y/N said while putting it on. “Y/N!!” Y/N mom yelled and Y/N started to fidget with their hands. “I-I have to go!” Y/N said while looking at their mom and then him.
“Wait! Y/N I like you!” Bill said and Y/N looked at him shocked. “W-What?!” Y/N said shocked not being able to process everything right now and then Bill kissed them and pulled away. “I know it’s all of a sudden but I do, please don’t forget me! Please, remember me!” Bill say while smiling sadly and then Y/N smiled back and was about to say something but heard the truck honking. “Goodbye Bill!” Y/N said while running and Bill held his hand out for them but retreated it. “Goodbye..” He said while looking down and then back up to watch Y/N leave.
Y/N got in the car and it was passing Bill’s house, he was still standing there while waving at them. Y/N rolled down the window and waved at him. “Goodbye Bill! Please don’t forget me!” Y/N yelled and he shouted back. “I won’t! Please don’t forget me either! And don’t forget what I said! Promise me in the future we will be together!” He yelled. “I promise!!” Y/N said and then put their head back inside the car and then leaned back in the seat and softly started to cry. “Will I ever see him again?” Y/N thought while wiping their tears.
Bills POV
Year: 2007
Location: Leipzig Germany
Month: August
It’s been four years since I last seen Y/N. It’s now 2007. I remember what I told them, and I’ve been thinking about it everyday. Will I ever see them again? Will they ever appear? I thought about it, not giving up on the love of my life.
“Bill, come on. We are about to start.” Tom said snapping me out of my thoughts and I nodded. I went out of the dressing room and walked up on stage. Everyone started screaming when we came onstage and I smiled. “Hello everyone!” I yelled in the mic and everyone started screaming. “Let’s make this concert a great one!!” I yelled in German and everyone yelled along.
Y/N’s POV
I was waiting outside the venue, to see one of my favorite bands, tokio hotel. I was with my best friend and we were waiting patiently. “I can’t believe we are seeing them in person!” My friend smiled and i nodded while grinning. “I know right! I bet they look even better up close. Since we do have front row tickets.” I said and she nodded. After about 30 minutes the venue opened and we handed the person in front our tickets and we ran inside. It was crowded and we made our way to the front. A perfect view anyone would wanna see.
“I can’t believe this is happening!” My friend said while jumping up and down and i chuckled. “Me either! I hope they play my favorite album!” I smiled and then everyone started screaming and I looked on stage and there they were. They were here. I looked directly at Bill and he started talking. “Hello everyone!” He yelled in the mic and I cheered. “Lets make this concert a great one!!” He yelled once again and everyone yelled long with him. They started to play schrei and everyone screamed. We all sung along to the song and Bill started to look in the crowd while smiling. He then looked in the front row and our eyes met. His eyes widen and I was confused but I continued to cheer.
“Alright guys, this next song we will bring someone up to the stage!” Bill said and everyone cheered. Bill looked into the crowd once again and then looked at me. “You.” He pointed at me while smiling and my best friend jumped up and down. “Go! You got this!” She said and I smiled and Bill held his hand out to me. The security helped me get on the stage and I successfully got up there. “What’s your name?” He asked while looking into my eyes with those beautiful brown eyes. “Y/N!” I smiled and he smiled at me. “Let’s give it up for Y/N!” He yelled and everyone started cheering. They started to play [F/A/N] and I got excited. They put on my favorite song from the album and I was singing along with Bill the whole time.
It was the last song by now and the concert was coming to an end and I was about to get off the stage but bill grabbed me. “Can I talk to you for a second?” He asked and I looked at my best friend and she gave me a thumbs up and walked away but I saw her getting stopped by Tom. I chuckled at her and looked at bill. “Yea of course, what’s up?” I said and he took me backstage.
“Look I know this sounds crazy but is your last name [L/N]?” He asked and my eyes widen. “Um yes why?” I said nervously and his eyes soften. “Do you really not remember me?” He said in a soft voice and i raised a brow and then started to think. “I give you a red scarf when we were little..before you moved away. and then I confessed my feelings to you..” Bill said softly and I thought for a second and then my eyes widen.
“Oh my god, Billy!” I said and hugged him. He chuckled and grabbed my chin. “Did you forget our promise too?” Bill smiled and I got a bit shy. “No..I didn’t..since I got reminded..” I smiled and he chuckled. “So? What do you think?” He said while wiggling his brows and I giggled. “I think we can start dating..” I smiled and he smiled widely. “I’ve been waiting for years my gosh, I thought you would forget me forever. Also, I thought you were going to the US?” He said and i chuckled and snatched my head.
“Well, I moved back because my mom got fired from her job..since her old job moved there and we had to move. So we came back to Germany.” I said and he nodded. “Then..that means I get to stay with you..forever.” Bill grinned and I nodded. We hugged and then I heard my phone ringing. “Hold on. Hello ma?” I said and pulled away from the hug and answered the phone. “Umm I’ll come home in a few..” I said and then I sighed. “Okay okay I’m on my way now.” I hung up and looked at bill with a sad expression.
“I know we both just reunited but I have to go. Here, I’ll give you my number.” I said and grabbing a piece of paper and writing my number on it and giving it to him smiling. “It was nice seeing you after years. You have no idea how much I missed you.” Bill smiled and i smiled back at him. “I’ll get going mkay?” I said and Bill nodded. “I’ll walk you, I don’t want my liebe to be hurt.” He smiled and I chuckled.

a mephisto bar??
i wanted to make a post talking about how different obey me's mephisto and actual literatur mephisto (faust) are different, but i won’t be getting to it until mid september because i’m writing my bachelor‘s thesis :(( but in the meantime, take a look at this!!
in the first part of faust, a location mephisto visited was auerbachs keller, which is a traditional german pub in Leipzig. the pub existed in real life and still does so until today!! it’s a really popular place because of its connection to faust, which is why they have so many faust related events, drinks, etc.!
one of those things is the opening of a bar called mephisto bar!! the menu is designed with little flames, and the interior is kept red, black and pretty chic; they serve food, cocktails, cigarettes etc.! and they even have a special cake called mephistotorte (literally mephisto cake/pie) and other mephisto souvenirs. their food item names usually are devil related too!
the translation for the cocktails are as follows:
- mephisto nr. 1: vodka, peach liquor, caramel syrup & peach juice
- mephisto nr. 2: long horn gin, peach liquor, cranberry juice, orange blossom & lavender soda
- mephisto fire: aperol, gin, orange juice & sparkling wine
- mephisto special: cuba rum, aperol, passion fruit syrup, strawberry syrup & grapefruit juice
- mephisto hugo: prosecco, andalö, elderflower syrup, fresh mint, lime, soda
their website even says that visits from devils (or a certain devil) can’t be ruled out ♡
i’ve never been to leipzig but i’ve wanted to visit this bar and the pub for years now, so maybe it’s time to do it this year!! which cocktail would you get? i’d try to get them all and maybe even recreate them for my new year's party! oh, and a slice of mephisto cake too ♡

Duplex is a minimalist home located in Leipzig-Portitz, Germany, designed by Atelier ST. The house, a reinterpretation of traditional forms, adopts the elementary silhouette of a gabled structure—a motif familiar from childhood drawings. However, this simplicity is reimagined through the assembly of two slender, staggered volumes. This configuration aligns with the neighboring structures’ footprints, sensitively responding to the area’s scale while efficiently housing the requisite spaces.

Request tony and peter having one year anniversary sex of dating and being official couple. Tony proposed to Peter! Pls write that 😍
Hey! Hope this is okay, I’ve been pretty busy lol! <3 enjoy!!!!
Today officially marks one year since Peter and Tony became boyfriends.
Tony had decided, earlier that week to cancel all of the plans he had and made sure his lover was available as well. He wanted to make sure it was somewhere special to both of them, because of course, he had something more up his sleeve.
He’s Tony Stark, what did you expect?
He was going to propose to the younger boy, and legally make him his.
It may seem early in the relationship but as far as they’re both concerned, they’ve been in love since they both saw each other the first time, in that small apartment in Queens.
Peter was ecstatic, Tony had offered to take them to see the beauty of Leipzig, Germany when there are no battles or disagreements to be fought over. To be fair, Peter didn't care where Tony wanted to take them. As long as they were together.
When they're in the hotel, Peter can't stop looking everywhere. He's holding onto Tony's hand while he observes the settings. Turning everywhere with his jaw dropped, Tony smiles at how joyful he looks.
Peter grins, "Tony! This is like the most perfect place ever! Besides the lab. It's beautiful." He says and smiles widely at his lover.
Tony smiles, brown eyes filled with love and adoration. He stares down at Peter, "Mm. It is, isn't it?" Peter blushes and looks down to the glossy floor with a huge smile on his face.
"The rooms are already ready. Let's get dressed. I have a surprise for you." Tony says, lifting the hand that is entwined in his, and placing a kiss on Peter's hand.
As they walk to their room, Peter keeps rambling and says stuff along the lines of ‘A suprise? This is great’ and ‘OhmygodOhmygod.’
As Peter and Tony enter their hotel room, Peter's eyes widen in awe at the sight before him. The room is bathed in soft, golden light streaming in from the large windows, casting a warm glow over the elegant furnishings. "Wow," Peter breathes, his voice filled with wonder as he takes in the luxurious surroundings. "Tony, this is incredible." Tony smiles, watching Peter's reaction with fondness.
"I'm glad you like it, Pete. I wanted our anniversary to be special."
Peter walks further into the room, his gaze moving from the plush king-sized bed to the sparkling chandelier overhead. He runs his fingers lightly over the silky duvet, marveling at the attention to detail. "It's like something out of a dream," Peter says, turning to face Tony with a wide grin. "Thank you."Tony steps closer, wrapping his arms around Peter from behind. "You deserve the world, Peter. And I'll do everything in my power to give it to you."Peter leans back into Tony's embrace, “Now, we should get ready. We have a reservation at Schaarschmidts.” Tony winks.
Peter tilts his head at the name and looks confused at the man, wondering if he just spoke English or not.
Tony leans down to press a kiss on Peter’s forehead before walking away to head to one of the two bathrooms in their room.
Peter quickly follows suit and heads to the other bathroom, finding his designer suit hanging up, that fits him in all the right places. He was grateful for Tony’s credit card. Just not as much as he was grateful for the wonderful man he can say he’s happily in love with.
Stepping into the shower to wash himself off from the flight, he gets an idea. He can tell this night is going to end in the sheets, so he wants to surprise Tony.
Peter opens himself thoroughly in the shower, angling away from that pleasurable spot in his ass to wait for his lover later.
He thrusts two fingers in his ass, scissoring and spreading himself so Tony can slide in easily.
Feeling that he’s open enough, he finishes washing his body and hair, turning off the warm water and stepping out.
Peter dries off, wrapping a towel around his waist as he locates a blow dryer.
Quickly styling his hair, he gets dressed in his dark green suit that looks perfect on him. Fixing his sleeves in the mirror, he observes himself as he thinks.
He locates his toiletries bag and pulls out some very smoothing chapstick and sprays on some perfume.
Peter smiles at his appearance and runs his hands through his hair once more, walking out of the bathroom, to find Tony on the bed putting on a watch.
Tony looks amazing. As he always does, but tonight he's everything and more. Tony obviously thinks the same when he looks up from his wrist and observes the younger. Tony quickly stands up.
"God, Peter." "You look amazing, Tony." They both say at the same time and Peter blushes while Tony grins.
Tony steps forward to place a palm against Peter's cheek. He guides him to look from the ground, into his eyes. Tony speaks, "You are gorgeous, honey,"
Peter smiles and tries to tilt his head back down but Tony still wants him to look at the older.
Tony leans down slowly, tipping Peter's head up as his lips press against the thinner ones of Peter.
Peter kisses back, slowly moving his lips with Tony. Tony kisses once more before moving back.
He grins at how pink Peter has gotten. “We’re gonna be late. Let’s continue this later?” Tony asks hopefully.
Peter nods quickly.
They walk out of the room, side by side as Tony guides Peter with a hand on his lower back, gently rubbing his thumb to ease his nerves.
As Tony and Peter arrive at Schaarschmidts, the elegant facade of the restaurant bathed in soft golden light greets them. Tony offers Peter his arm, and they walk together, their steps synchronized with a shared sense of anticipation.
The waiter greets them warmly as they enter, leading them to a secluded table adorned with flickering candlelight and a bouquet of roses. Peter's eyes widen in awe at the romantic setting, his heart pounding with excitement.
"This is amazing, Tony," Peter whispers, his voice filled with wonder. Tony smiles, his gaze filled with affection as he pulls out a chair for Peter.
"Only the best for you, Pete."
As they settle into their seats, their conversation flows effortlessly, laughter punctuating the air as they reminisce about the past year and dream about the future.
Midway through their meal, Tony's demeanor shifts slightly, his expression becoming more serious. He reaches into his pocket, fingers closing around the small velvet box hidden within. "Peter," Tony begins, his voice soft but determined.
Peter can hear how his heartbeat increases. Peter furrows his brows and tenses up.
“I’m so glad to have you in my life. You’ve changed me for the better, seriously. You’re incredibly special, kind and generous, so different from me, but I see myself in you in so many different ways, kid. I told you a year ago, you were it for me, and I’m serious. I don’t want anyone else but you, and I hope the feelings mutual.” Tony laughs out.
Peter’s eyes widen in surprise as Tony stands and gets down on one knee beside the table. The almost empty restaurant going quiet as they observe the display of love.
Tony takes the ring out his pocket and opens the box. If you looked closely, it had the same blue glow that Tony’s arc reactor gave off. Peter had stated one day that if he could carry that technology with him everywhere, he would.
Holding the ring up, Tony speaks as Peter is already tearing up.
“I know you might want to wait until you graduate college next year, but I’ll wait. As long as you want. So, Peter Parker, will you do me the honor of putting up with me for as long as you can handle?” Tony breathes out, feeling tears threaten his eyes. Peter’s just a waterfall at this point.
Peter covers his mouth with his palm for a second before nodding so fast he might get whiplash.
“T-Tony, Oh my g-god. Yes! Yes!” Peter replies loudly, perhaps too loud.
Tony sniffles and shoots up, tackling his boy into a kiss. Peter presses his lips back tenderly. It’s a soft and lingering kiss, filled with passion and most likely, the promise of forever.
His arms wrap around Peter’s waist, pulling him closer. Their lips seem to move at the right pace, enveloping each other.
Peter leans back from the kiss first, gazing into Tony’s eyes with a goofy smile, “I want to be with you forever. I love you so much, Tony.”
Tony tilts his head as he feels a tear drop. Tony smiles softly, filled with nothing but love as he responds, “I love you so much more.”
“Let’s get out of here, please?” Peter asks.
When they arrive back to the hotel room, Tony doesn’t have time to shut the door behind him, because as soon as they enter, Peter is pressing him against it and taking his lips into a deep kiss.
Tony moans into the kiss and kisses back, slipping his tongue through the passage. Tony slides a free hand to Peter’s curls, holding the back of his head as he devours his mouth.
Peter is quickly removing his clothes as he kisses back with intent. Tony steps back from the kiss, not without a protest from Peter and removes his shoes and suit jacket. He drags Peter over to the bed, instantly attacking his neck with sucks and kisses, helping Peter undress with unbuttoning his shirt.
Laying Peter down on the bed, he kisses his way down his body, sucking a hickey above his waistline. Peter moans at the sensation of Tony’s goatee against his skin and hitches up his hips to get more.
Tony pushes his hips down gently and grins, “Calm down, baby. I’ll take care of you.” Tony says and unzips Peter’s trousers, wasting no time.
Peter helps Tony by kicking his pants off, and slightly lifting his legs.
“I opened myself up for you.” Peter says while blushing. Tony groans at imagining the sight of his boy preparing himself just for him.
Tony kisses Peter’s smooth thigh that’s next to his head, trailing them up to the place Peter wants his mouth the most. Tony places a ghosting kiss to his length and Peter whimpers at the very light touch.
He doesn't waste anymore time, taking the tip into his mouth. Peter gasps at the feeling of the wet heat that he loves so much and moves his hips up. Tony moans, moving his head down slowly, swallowing Peter inch by inch.
Peter moans in pleasure and reaches a hand out to Tony's head, threading his fingers through his soft, short hair.
"Oh- T-Tony!" He whimpers.
Tony bobs his head faster, and Peter moans louder, feeling himself come close almost immediately.
Tony continues with his movements, rubbing his thumb against Peter’s thigh in a soothing manner, removing it and running his hand over Peter’s tight balls. Making him tipple over to the edge.
“Oh-Fuck! Tony, I-I’m gonna—“ Peter doesn’t get to finish his sentence, he’s seeing stars behind his closed eyes and cumming into his lovers mouth.
Peter breathes heavily while Tony continues to suck him through his orgasm.
Tony swallows it all, sucking his length clean and pulling up. Tony leans up and observes Peter who already looks fucked out. He hasn’t even put his dick in him yet.
Tony leans over Peter and gives him a deep kiss to his slightly parted lips, Peter almost instantly kissing back.
Tony pulls back to lie his head close to Peter’s ear. He speaks huskily, “You taste so good. Still ok?” Peter quickly nods. He bites his lip and spreads his legs for easy access.
“Please, fuck me.” Peter says, his voice low and soft, wanting his lover to completely fill him up.
Tony smiles and kisses his flushed cheek. He reaches over and grabs the bottle of lube he put out before they left and coats his length with the substance.
He positions his tip for the pink hole, gently pushing in. Even with prep, Peter is always tight. He pauses, waiting for him to adjust, then slowly pushes in the rest of the way, bottoming out inside the tight and warm heat.
"Tony..." Peter moans softly, his eyelids fluttering as he adjusts to the stretch, loving the feeling. He could never get enough of this.
Tony begins to slightly move his hips. “How does it feel, baby?”
“It’s so good…please move.” Peter whimpers, tangling a hand into the bed comforter.
Tony smiles and begins moving his hips, thrusting in and out slowly. Peter wraps his legs around Tony's waist, pulling him closer.
Tony's movements grow more confident, and his thrusts become harder and deeper.
Peter moans, his fingers grasping at the sheets.
"Fuck, you feel amazing." Tony groans, his voice husky with desire.
Peter gasps, his eyes wide with arousal and pleasure.
"F-faster, Tony, please." He whimpers.
Tony quickens his pace, his movements becoming more erratic as his release builds.
Peter's back arches as Tony hits his prostate, his body shuddering with pleasure.
"Right there!"
Tony aims for that spot again and again, hitting it every time. Peter cries out, his eyes screwed shut as he writhes in pleasure.
"Oh god, I'm so close." Peter moans, his body trembling as his orgasm builds. Tony increases the pace, his hips slapping against Peter's ass.
Peter clenches around Tony's cock, and his body shakes with the intensity of his release, releasing short spurts of cum out of his again-hardened cock.
“Tony!”
Tony groans, feeling his own release take over. He cums into the tight warmth and slows his thrusts as he pushes himself through it.
He collapses beside Peter, both of them breathing heavily.
Tony looks over to Peter, who’s sliding over to lay on his fiancés chest. Tony leans, to lay a kiss on his slightly sweaty forehead. “I love you. You’re the best person I’ve ever known, Pete.” Tony whispers into his curls, never thinking his love for his protege would take off. And now look where they are.
Peter lifts his head up and smiles softly, “You’re all I’ve ever wanted, Tony. I love you too.”
If they spent the rest of their night fucking and making love like animals in mating season, that was entirely up to them.

FERNHERRLICHKEIT
"Two students get closer to eachother in a time, that does not intend this. Will the one be able to leave the ruins of his past behind and follow the call of the other?"
[Support us on StartNext]: https://www.startnext.com/fernherrlichkeit-film Our short film Fernherrlichkeit tells the story of the student Richard, who, under the pressure of his family past, is clinging to it, but is shown a different perspective by his fellow student Anton. Fernherrlichkeit highlights the tension between homosexual love and the societal constraints of a still-current past - a conflict that has been discussed many times before, but here from its own aesthetic perspective.
This is a supra-regional short film project for which we have selected the most beautiful and most suitable locations from all over Germany. Just like the filming locations, the crew is made up of filmmakers from Hamburg, Berlin, Leipzig, Düsseldorf, Köln, among others. However, these geographic distances also pose the greatest technical production challenge for us:
How do we get everyone involved to the right location at the right time? – Above all, a financial question.
In order to be able to implement Fernherrlichkeit with our artistic and production-technical demands, financial means are of course necessary. A significant part of this budget consists of equity. For the other part of the budget, we rely on you: the crowd.
With your support, it will be possible to reimburse all participants and crew members for their travel expenses. That would cover the biggest cost item for us. So if you would like to see "Fernherrlichkeit" on a screen in the future, we would be happy if you support us! Thanks very much!

What if in German ghosts Friedrich Dorn lived doing the French occupation (napoleonic wars)? I think nearly all of Germany came under French control during the Napoleonic wars. Since Friedrich Dorn is Thomas, it would still mean that he’s from the early 1800s. How would that affect his personality?
Also I’m a bit disappointed that there’s no ghost from the time of Frederick the great.
Thank you for your ask!
The thing we have to remember is that Germany as it is known today did not exist back then. Assuming Friedrich comes from the late 18th / early 19th century, he lived in the Holy Roman Empire (of the German Nation) which lasted for roughly 800 years until it was dissolved in 1806 after which parts of it became the Confederation of the Rhine which was then replaced by the German Confederation in 1815. We're talking about a lot of history there, and about a huge number of small governmental units (nothing compared to the 16 states Germany has today).
I think, at most, we can assume that Friedrich lived through a time of political upheaval. To what extent he was affected by that is hard to tell since we don't even know where the German Button House is located and when he lived. For all we know he did live during the reign of Friedrich the Great that you mentioned. We just don't know enough about the German ghosts' time line at this point to make asssumptions. Take Claudius for example: if the show is set somewhere in North Rhine-Westphalia, that gives us a potential time frame from 55 BC (Caesar crossing the Rhine) to around 460 AD when Cologne was conquered by the Franks and Rome withdrew - so about 500 years. Again, a lot of time, a lot of history to speculate about.
That being said, if the German show is anything like the original, I don't think there will be a focus on how historical events / circumstances affected the characters. That doesn't mean it isn't there at all, but with Friedrich, the focus will probably be on his poetry, potential rivalry with the likes of Goethe and Schiller and, of course, love. Perhaps he will make a comment about the Napoleonic Wars. Perhaps he will reference the Battle of Leipzig if he was still alive when it happened. Perhaps he will mention a family member who was recruited and fought. But I'm not sure the political circumstances will play a major role in defining his character (especially considering that the history is quite complex and while I'd wager many Germans have heard of the Battle of Leipzig (Völkerschlacht bei Leipzig in German), most probably don't know its historical context or when it actually happened).
#I think it's just way too early to tell since we know so little at the moment#German history at that time is so complex with all the small territories#there's also the possibility that Friedrich doesn't come from the area where the German Button House is located and was just visiting#which throws all speculation out of the window#so I guess to sum it up the answer is we'll see#german ghosts#mp german ghosts#friedrich dorn#ask

Zodiac Signs, Cities & Curious Facts! 🌆
Each city was selected by me from "The Rulership Book" by Rex E. Bills, alongside one fact that matches that particular sign's energy! There are more cities and places that align with the vibration of each sign, but these are the ones I picked for this post. All pictures are from Google Images.
Enjoy this random and (hopefully) fun thread!😁
♈Aries: FLORENCE, Italy
Florence has a unique street festival: The "Calcio Storico" is a traditional street football game played annually there. The game involves four teams representing the four historic quarters of the city, and it's known for its rough and intense style of play!
♉Taurus: LEIPZIG, Germany
Leipzig is known as the "City of Music": Leipzig has a rich musical heritage and is considered one of the world's most important cities for classical music. ♊Gemini: LONDON, England
London has a "whispering gallery": The Whispering Gallery in St. Paul's Cathedral is a circular gallery that runs around the interior of the dome. Due to its unique acoustics, if you whisper against the wall on one side of the gallery, the sound can be heard on the other side, over 100 feet away.
♋Cancer: ISTANBUL, Turkey
Istanbul has a famous street for cats: The "Cat Street" or "Kedi Sokak" in Turkish is a narrow street in the historic district of Sultanahmet that is home to dozens of stray cats. The cats are well-fed and cared for by locals, and the street has become a popular tourist attraction.
♌Leo: BERLIN, Germany
Berlin is a graffiti artist's paradise: The city has a long history of street art and is home to some of the most famous graffiti murals in the world. The East Side Gallery, a section of the Berlin Wall that has been turned into an open-air gallery, features over 100 paintings by artists from around the world.
♍Virgo: MOSCOW, Russia
Moscow has a rich literary history: Many famous Russian writers, including Leo Tolstoy, Fyodor Dostoevsky, and Anton Chekhov, lived and worked in Moscow. ♒Aquarius: LOS ANGELES, California
LA is the birthplace of the Internet: The first successful transmission of a message over the Internet occurred on October 29, 1969, between two computers located at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and the Stanford Research Institute. This event is considered the birth of the Internet.
♓Pisces: GALICIA, Spain
Galicia is home to an ancient spiritual destination: The Way of St. James, also known as the Camino de Santiago, is a famous pilgrimage route that leads to the cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in Galicia. Every year, thousands of people from all over the world make the 780 km journey on foot, bicycle, or horseback. Many of them walk the route for spiritual reasons, while others enjoy the physical challenge and the opportunity to meet people from all over the world.
Now, that was a pleasure to put together! How do you feel about the fact/city for your sign? As a Virgo, I'd love to visit the Moscow library, but as a weird/edgy fashion sucker, Tokyo seems like a whole lot of fun! Also, the Aries one made me LOL! Y'all just can't stop fighting, can you? 😂

THIS DAY IN GAY HISTORY
based on: The White Crane Institute's 'Gay Wisdom', Gay Birthdays, Gay For Today, Famous GLBT, glbt-Gay Encylopedia, Today in Gay History, Wikipedia, and more … November 2
1867 – Wassily Sapellnikoff (d.1941), was a Russian pianist. A more true transliteration of his name is Vasily Lvovich Sapelnikov, however he chose the above version for his appearances in the West.
Sapellnikoff was born in Odessa. He studied at the Odessa Conservatory and became professor of piano at Moscow Conservatory in 1897. He eventually moved to Leipzig and finally settled in Munich.
He toured with Tchaikovsky in Germany, France and England. At his debut in Hamburg in 1888, he played Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1 in B flat minor with the composer conducting. This concert was a great success and a catalyst for his budding career as a concert pianist in Western Europe. He was the first to play this concerto in England. He was the dedicatee of a piano piece by Tchaikovsky.
Tchaikovsky wrote about him affectionately in his letters to his brother Modest, in terms such as: Since the time of Kotek I have never loved anyone so warmly as him. Because they spent so much time together on these tours, it is often asserted that he and Tchaikovsky were lovers. However, Alexander Poznansky, in Tchaikovsky: The Quest for the Inner Man, writes:
it seems likely that an erotic element was present in Tchaikovsky's friendship with Sapelnikov and that he recognised it as such. Both men were quite young and good-looking. Almost certainly, however, their relations remained chaste.
Sapellnikoff first appeared in England in 1889 playing the Tchaikovsky concerto at a Royal Philharmonic concert, under the composer's baton. He became a favourite at Philharmonic concerts.
1906 – Luchino Visconti di Modrone, Count of Lonate Pozzolo (d.1976) was an Italian theatre, opera and cinema director, as well as a screenwriter. He is notably known for his filmsThe Leopard (1963) and Death in Venice (1971).
When he was thirty years old, he began his career in film, working as an assistant director and costume designer for French director Jean Renoir, whom he knew socially. As a result of his association with Renoir, Visconti became a leftist in politics. Although he had close connections with Mussolini's son Vittorio, he became active in the anti-fascist movement and, during World War II, in the Resistance.
Also in his early thirties, he had his first serious homosexual affair, with a young German photographer named Horst, who became a well known fashion photographer. The affair lasted three years, but their friendship endured until Visconti's death.
His first feature film, Ossessione (1942), with its insistence on location shooting, proletariat subject matter, and an unvarnished approach to reality, is acknowledged as the first manifestation of Neo-Realism. However, Visconti's film, Bellissima (1951), with a brilliant star performance by Anna Magnani, is a satire of Neo-Realism, as a working-class mother tries to get her little girl cast in a Neo-Realist film.
Early in his career he maintained a scrupulous detachment from the actors and singers whose careers he helped to launch; but by the end of the 1960s, he became passionately involved with several young artists. This aspect of his life came to light when letters that he wrote to several young men, including Helmut Berger, became public in the 1980s.
Visconti made no secret, to those close to him, of his homosexuality. His last partner was the Austrian actor Helmut Berger, who played Martin in Visconti's film The Damned. Berger also appeared in Visconti's Ludwig in 1972 and Conversation Piece in 1974 along with Burt Lancaster. Other lovers included Franco Zeffirelli, who also worked as part of the crew (i.e. production design, assistant director, etc.) in a number of Visconti's films and theatrical productions.
He died in Rome of a stroke at age 69.
1909 – The District of Columbia Court of Appeals reverses the vagrancy conviction of a man who had solicited a police officer for oral sex. It says a single immoral act does not constitute vagrancy.
Paul Thek by Peter Hujar
1933 – Paul Thek (d.1988) was an American painter and, later, sculptor and installation artist. Thek was active in both the United States and Europe during his life, staging a number of ambitious installations and sculptural works throughout his lifetime. Posthumously, he has been widely exhibited throughout the United States and Europe, and his work is held in numerous collections including the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden in Washington, DC, the Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris, and Kolumba, the Art Museum of the Archdiocese of Cologne.
Thek (born George Thek) was the second of four children born to parents of German and Irish ancestry in Brooklyn, New York. In 1950, Thek studied at the Art Students League of New York as well as Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, before entering Cooper Union School of the Arts in New York in 1951. Upon graduating in 1954, he moved to Miami, where he met and became involved with set designer Peter Harvey, who introduced Thek to a number of artists and writers such as Tennessee Williams.
During this time, Thek created some of his first known drawings, including studies in charcoal and graphite (now held in Kolumba's collections), later followed by abstract watercolors and oil paintings. Thek first referred to himself as Paul Thek starting in 1955; in a letter to Harvey, he writes: "Let me tell you who I am George Joseph Thek but Paul to you and Paul to me you would have to be me to know why I am Paul after all this erroneous George business."
In 1957, he exhibited his works for the first time at Mirrell Gallery in Miami. It was in Florida that Thek first met photographer Peter Hujar, who photographed Thek in Coral Gables.
By the end of 1959, Thek and Hujar, now a couple, were living in New York. Thek traveled to Italy in 1962, and with Hujar visited the Catacombs of the Capuchins in Palermo, an experience which had a strong influence on his work.
During the 1960s, Thek and Hujar associated with a number of artists and writers including Joseph Raffaele, Eva Hesse, Gene Swenson, and Susan Sontag. Thek was particularly close to Sontag, who dedicated her 1966 collection of essays, Against Interpretation, to him. According to Sontag's biographer, the title and inspiration for the eponymous essay came from Thek. One day when Sontag was "talking about art in a cerebral way that many complained was a bore," he interrupted: "Susan, stop, stop. I'm against interpretation. We don't look at art when we interpret it. That's not the way to look at art."
In 1964, he participated in Andy Warhol's Screen Tests. It was during this time that he began to work in installation and sculpture, most notably creating wax sculptures made in the likeness of meat. Between 1964–67, Thek had three solo exhibitions of his famed Technological Reliquaries at Stable Gallery and Pace Gallery in New York.
Thek was awarded a Fulbright fellowship in 1967 to Italy, leaving New York shortly after his exhibition for The Tomb opened. The figure in Thek's Tomb was popularly associated with the American hippie movement and has often been mistitled as Death of a Hippie. He traveled and lived throughout Europe during the late 1960s and early 1970s and worked on large scale installations. After a peripatetic lifestyle, Thek took up permanent residence in New York in 1976 and began teaching at Cooper Union. Amid increasing emotional stress, he struggled to make and sell work, but began to show nationally and internationally again during the 1980s. He died on August 10, 1988 after learning he had AIDS.the year prior. After his death, Sontag dedicated AIDS and Its Metaphors to his memory.
1943 – Casey Donovan (d.1987) was an American male pornographic actor of the 1970s and 1980s, appearing primarily in adult films and videos catering to gay male audiences.
Following a brief career as a teacher and a stint as a highly-paid male model, Donovan appeared in the film that would cement his status as a gay icon, Boys in the Sand, in 1971. Attempts to build on his notoriety to achieve mainstream crossover success failed, but Donovan continued to be a bankable star in the adult industry for the next 15 years.
Casey Donovan was born John Calvin Culver in East Bloomfield, New York. He graduated from teachers' college in 1965 and after graduation he drifted into being a prostitute and relocated to New York City. He also began pursuing an acting career, appearing in summer stock theatre with the prestigious Peterborough Players.
In 1971, Culver played a supporting role in a low budget sexploitation thriller film, Ginger. This in turn led to an offer to appear in Casey, a gay pornographic film in which Culver played the title role, a gay man who is visited by his fairy godmother Wanda (Culver playing a dual role in drag), and is granted a series of wishes which make him sexually irresistible to other men. Culver later took the character's name, Casey, and that of the popular singer Donovan to create the pseudonym under which he would appear in all his other erotic roles.
Culver first appeared as Casey Donovan in Boys in the Sand, in 1971. The film was an instant success and is considered one of the great classics of male erotic cinema. With the success and celebrity he garnered from the film, Donovan believed that he would be able to cross over into mainstream film. While there were meetings with directors like John Schlesinger and Raymond St. Jacques and talk of casting him in mainstream projects including adaptations of novels by Mary Renault and Patricia Nell Warren, the only film opportunities opened for him were as the star of more erotic films.
Donovan had a successful national tour in the play Tubstrip, written and directed by Jerry Douglas. The play was critically deemed entertaining enough to its target gay audience (having earned, in the words of one critic, a "nationwide gay housekeeping seal of approval").
Donovan's iconic status allowed him to build a lucrative career as a high-priced prostitute although it would cost him his legitimate modeling career as more and more clients made the connection between model Culver and porn star Donovan. He wrote an advice column,"Ask Casey," for the gay-oriented Stallion magazine beginning in 1982.
In 1973 at the height of his popularity, Donovan met actor-turned writer Tom Tryon and the two entered into a long-term relationship the following year. Tryon was deeply closeted and grew increasingly disturbed by Donovan's notoriety. Their relationship ended in 1977.
By 1985, Donovan's health had begun to deteriorate, as he had contracted HIV. Although he had counseled his fans through his "Ask Casey" column as early as 1982 to reduce their number of sex partners and take steps to preserve their health and urged them to be tested for HIV once the test was developed, he himself made little or no effort to change his behavior. Donovan died in 1987 of an AIDS-related pulmonary infection in Inverness, Florida, aged 43.
1944 Patrice Chéreau (d.2013) was a French opera and theatre director, filmmaker, actor and producer. In France he is best known for his work for the theatre, internationally for his films La Reine Margot and Intimacy, and for his staging of the Jahrhundertring, the centenary Ring Cycle at the Bayreuth Festival in 1976. Winner of almost twenty movie awards, including the Cannes Jury Prize and the Golden Berlin Bear, Chéreau served as president of the jury at the 2003 Cannes festival.
From 1966, he was artistic director of the Public-Theatre in the Parisian suburb of Sartrouville, where in his team were stage designer Richard Peduzzi, costume designer Jacques Schmidt and lighting designer André Diot, with whom he collaborated in many later productions. From 1982, he was director of "his own stage" at the Théâtre Nanterre-Amandiers at Nanterre where he staged plays by Jean Racine, Marivaux and Shakespeare as well as works by Jean Genet, Heiner Müller and Bernard-Marie Koltès.
He accepted selected opera productions, such as: the first performance of the three-act version of Alban Berg's Lulu, completed by Friedrich Cerha, at the Paris Opera in 1979; Berg's Wozzeck at the Staatsoper Berlin in 1994; Wagner's Tristan und Isolde at La Scala in 2007; Janáček's From the House of the Dead, shown at several festivals and the Metropolitan Opera; and, as his last staging, Elektra by Richard Strauss, first performed at the Aix-en-Provence Festival in July 2013. He was awarded the Europe Theatre Prize in 2008.
Chéreau was in a long-term relationship with his lover and favorite actor Pascal Greggory. He was not interested in gay topics, saying: "I never wanted to specialise in gay stories, and gay newspapers have criticised me for that. Everywhere love stories are exactly the same. The game of desire, and how you live with desire, are the same."
Chéreau died in Paris on 7 October 2013 from lung cancer. He was 68 years old.
1963 – Jonas Gardell, born in Enebyberg, Stockholm County, is a Swedish novelist, playwright, screenwriter and comedian. He is the brother of religion scholar Mattias Gardell. He is well known for his books and plays in all of Scandinavia and also published in Norway, Denmark, Finland, and Iceland.
Gardell's first novel, Passionsspelet (The Passion Play), was published in 1985. Since then, he has written some ten novels, including En Komikers Uppväxt (A Comedian Growing Up), which became a TV series. He has also written several other books, nine plays and two screenplays that were made into movies, including Livet är en Schlager (Life Is A Schlager). His novels are not yet available in English.
In 2006, more than 20 years after his first novel was published, Gardell is one of Sweden's most famous stand-up comedians and probably the country's most well-known openly gay man. His husband is the Finnish-Swedish-American writer and TV presenter Mark Levengood, with whom he has two children by surrogate mothers. Gardell performed his own play Tillfällig gäst i ditt liv (Temporary guest in your life) (2007) at the Scala Theater in Stockholm.
In 2013 JG was elected "Homo Bi Trans Person of the Year" at the Swedish Gay Gala, notably for the book "Torka aldrig tårar utan handskar" ("Never Wipe Any Tears Without Gloves") - for this, he was a popular choice. His well deserved price was presented to him by none other than the Swedish Crown Princess, HRH Victoria, whom Jonas thanked with the words: "Victoria, you are our Crown Princess, but tonight I think you are also - also our little queen?" - this went down well with the Crown Princess, whom Jonas knows well.
His husband, Mark, every year hosts the immensely popular "Victoria Dagen" at the Swedish island of Öland, when the Swedes celebrate HRH Victoria's birthday at the 14. July.
.
1966 – Writer and director Tim Kirkman was born in Monroe, North Carolina, the third child of a public school educator and a music teacher, and spent his childhood in nearby Wingate, North Carolina. He received a bachelors degree in graphic design from North Carolina State University and a master's degree in media studies from The New School in New York City.
His feature film debut, Dear Jesse, was released theatrically by Cowboy Pictures in 1998. A documentary film about the political and personal parallels between the gay filmmaker Kirkman and the notoriously anti-gay U.S. Senator Jesse Helms, Dear Jesse, made its cable television debut on HBO/Cinemax's "Reel Life" series and was nominated for an Emmy Award in the News/Documentary Writing category in 2000. The TV broadcast version of the film featured an interview with Matthew Shepard, a college student whose murder soon after called attention to gay-bashing and hate crimes. When the theatrical version opened in East Coast cities, Helms attacked the papers that reviewed it, claiming that "The New York Times and the Washington Post are both infested with homosexuals. … Just about every other person down there (at the Post) is homosexual or lesbian."
Cinemax's telecast was slightly different from the version Helms attacked. A postscript, taken from deleted scenes on the cutting-room floor, was been added. The film now ends with footage of the late Matthew Shepard, who was attending Catawba College in Salisbury, N.C., when Kirkman interviewed him. After the 21-year-old student was murdered in Wyoming that year, Kirkman remembered the interview, found Shepard's signature on a release form and decided to add the footage to the end of "Dear Jesse."
"The sheer brutality of Matthew Shepard's murder brought the reality of gay-bashing into America's living rooms," said Kirkman, "but seeing Matthew as he was - a vibrant young man - will serve to humanize this tragedy."
Below is the Matthew Shepard footage:
youtube
His second film, the performance documentary The Night Larry Kramer Kissed Me, David Drake's solo off-Broadway hit play about writer Larry Kramer, was released by FilmNext in 2000. He also directed 2nd Serve, written by James Markert and starring Josh Hopkins and Cameron Monaghan.
Kirkman's narrative feature debut, Loggerheads, which he wrote and directed, premiered at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival where it was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize for Best Dramatic Feature and won prizes at several film festivals across the United States, including the Grand Jury Prize at Outfest.
1977 - Today is the birthday of American actor Randy Harrison, Justin of Queer As Folk (US) . Harrison was born in Nashua, New Hampshire, but moved to Alpharetta, Georgia with his family at the age of eleven. He attended Pace Academy, a private prep school in Atlanta. His father is an executive with a large paper company, while he has described his mother as a "thwarted artist."
Randy, who is openly gay, has said: "I love my parents. Coming out to them was sort of coming out to myself. I educated them, and I wanted our relationship to keep growing. I wanted them to be a part of my life still. I wanted to be able to share with them what I was going through."
Harrison attended the University of Cincinnati's College-Conservatory of Music, where he ultimately received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in musical theatre. During his time at CCM, he starred in university productions such as Hello Again, Shopping and Fucking, and Children of Eden. He also had other roles in other theatrical venues across the United States at the time.
Randy made his television debut playing Justin Taylor, a gay teen, in 2000's American version of Queer as Folk, based upon the British television series. Known for his optimism and cheery disposition, Justin was a gay teen who sought out a gay community in his hometown of Pittsburg. After losing his virginity to Brian Kinney (played by Gale Harold) during his senior year of high school, Justin falls in love with Brian, and their relationship becomes a central part of the series. "When you watch it, you're like, Wow. I look like that. But it doesn't feel like that at all. It was about communicating with Gale Harold and getting across what I wanted to say about the character," he said. The series ran for five seasons, ending in 2005. In 2007, the character of Justin Taylor was voted number three on the list of top 25 gay television characters of all time by AfterElton.
In 2002, Randy starred in the play Deviant at the New York International Fringe Festival. In the summer of 2004, Harrison made his broadway debut as Boq in the musical Wicked. His Off Broadway credits include A Letter from Ethel Kennedy (2002), Oak Tree (2006), Antony and Cleopatra (2008), Edward II (2007-2008) and The Singing Forest (2009). He also has a substantial resume in regional theatre, most prominently as a featured player since 2005 at the Berkshire Theatre Festival. Roles with the BTF include Equus (2005), Amadeus (2006), One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (2007), Mrs Warren's Profession (2007), Waiting for Godot (2008), Ghosts (2009) and Endgame (2010).
"It makes me proud, and it makes me scared," he said of acting. "More than anything, I want to be an actor and I want to keep working, and I think there's a danger in being perceived as a poster boy for something."
In 2006, Randy co-founded the Arts Bureau (tAB), an umbrella organisation encompassing theatre, film, music and writing. He shot and starred in the first tAB short film, Thinking, in 2008, which has since shown at several film festivals.
Randy dated Advertising Age columnist Simon Dumenco from 2002 to 2008; the two met when Dumenco interviewed Randy for a New York magazine cover story. Now single, he resides in Williamsburg, Brooklyn with his cats Ella and Aggie.
1983 – Fred Rosser who goes by the ring name of Darren Young is an American professional wrestler, currently signed to WWE . Prior to signing with WWE, Rosser competed in Northeastern and Mid-Atlantic independent promotions including Chaotic Wrestling, East Coast Wrestling Association, Independent Wrestling Federation and the National Wrestling Alliance. He is also the first WWE performer to disclose that he is gay while still active with the company.
Rosser/Young was born in Union, New Jersey. He began watching professional wrestling during the mid-1980s and became interested in becoming a professional wrestler as a teenager, wrestling in several backyard wrestling federations. He attended Fairleigh Dickinson University where he played football for a year, before deciding to focus on his academic studies and professional wrestling.
Rosser became interested in becoming a professional wrestler as a teenager, wrestling in several backyard wrestling federations. He researched a number of wrestling schools before deciding on Camp IWF in West Paterson, New Jersey. This was due in part to his employer, whose uncle was a friend of a local wrestler training there at the time, and helped him enroll in the wrestling school.
In an interview released on August 15, 2013, he publicly discussed being gay, making him the first wrestler ever to come out while still signed to a major promotion. Later that day, WWE released a statement in support of Rosser for being open about his sexuality, and various fellow wrestlers tweeted their support for him. He also revealed that he had a stuttering problem throughout childhood.
2010 – Voters in El Paso, Texas pass an initiative that strips health insurance benefits from the unmarried partners of city employees. Supporters say that their intention was to target gay city employees and their partners.

Travel Blog: Leipziger Buchmesse Friday
Timcampy's Adventures, meeting Friends & Religious Gold
Day two of the Bookfair. Today I was about to wear the new variant of the Runaway Outfit again, which I had made for the Polaris back last year AND the new Innocence I just made one week before the con.
Day two started very early for me ... I woke up at 3 in the morning and with a cat using me as trampoline and the overstimulation from the day before I was alerted by everything.
But I wanted to cosplay still. And even work with Make up again. I am super unskilled with Make up for Cosplay because aside the curse I haven't used any since my teens and just started doing it in ... October. I have learned quite a bit since then like switching to a different type of make up that doesn't need 5 days to be scrubbed off, that's better for my already sensitive eyes.
I also snapped off one of the nails from the Innocence and learned I need ... assisstance when visiting the bathroom while wearing it. oof.
I'm thankful I was not the driver for this day and just was able to chill for once after being stuck in traffic the evening before.
This time we actually started with taking different photos before the hall got too full, we even made a small video.
For the fair itself the section for comics/manga had started as a part of the fantasy and children's section ages ago and 10 years ago it got its own hall and even was expanded last year to 1 1/2 halls. Hall 1 was mainly artists this time with a HUGE department for artists and several rows of an artists alley along with some merchants. The half of Hall 3 was different publishers like Crunchyroll, Tokyopop, Nintendo and bigger merchants or even other conventions.
I have to say my feeling of hunger was not existent that day but I felt my eyes were getting worse, I even had to put on my glasses for a while, hoping it would be better. Was truly motivated me was that the german DVD/Blu Ray Publisher of D.Gray-man still recognized me and asked me to return with the 1st Uniform to take Photos for promoting the series on their Instagram and I was just .. wow. Still can't believe they asked me.
While we wandered the glass hall several times for finding my DGM Mutuals we decided to give the other sections a visit as Alu had a mission and as we walked through the religious section one vendor gave us a little bible book and ... "real gold" ... uhm.. Mister you know I'm running away from the church yes? :'D
After that we went to one of the big book shops and of course I had to look up some cook books. My guilty pleasure. But this time I didn't end up buying a ton, I only got one.
Back in the glass hall I was finally able to locate my DGM Mutuals and we made a pile of Tims as you can see. Haha. I'm so glad I am brave enough to talk to people again, it was an issue in the past that I just shyly crossed their ways and wished they would notice me, but nope, not this time. I also walked to other cosplayers and told them I love their costumes. Just to brighten up their day.
A few more impressions from the location itself. If you look closely you can spot the D.Gray-man Nendos of Allen, Kanda and Lavi. Oh and I finally got a pocket watch again! Mainly for my past!Allen Cosplay if I will wear it again, the owl reminds me of the bookshop emblem we see in chapter 249.
As we later sat down in the glass hall, we got myself a snack for photos and put aside our stuff and I didn't notice but a friend of a friend took Timcampy and played around with him. Until they complained that parts weren't made to their liking and that was the point I was close to snapping. I can tell my was over everything already with the little sleep I had, my eyes acting up, running around all day long already.
I tried to get lost while we went on another window shopping trip and actually bought a Ramen and an Udon bowl. Just to drop the bag 2 minutes after buying. Then I only had a Ramen bowl and a pile of shards. All went downhill then I didn't want to talk, I didn't want a hug, I sat down and tried not to have a panic-mental-breakdown-whatever. I even went out into the rain just to RUN to get the steam off. I went to my friend Julia who luckily involved me into small talk that calmed me down. But the day was ruined. I returned to my friends but some of theirs popped up and started a conversation, usually they are very lovely and I like them but I just couldn't listen to someone talking anymore. I left them to just walk around.
It was late already and it had started pouring, for now I decided just to stare at the rain running down the glass.
My friends wanted to calm me down, hug me, but I declined. I didn't want to talk. We went back to Schu's place, I had dinner and went to bed, rolling myself into a blanket like a burrito.
