Okay, I see a lot of takes on what Scar should be and imma yell into the void abt it.

Scar should be Pluto! Hear be out!

I saw a bunch on people fighting for Mercury cause it's the closest to the Sun. Then Earth, cause of its rotation around the Sun. But I feel like Scars whole arc shouldn't be revolving around Grian/the Sun.

I've also seen the Void being thrown around and while the loneliness aspect is certainly there, it feels almost too big. Scars win didn't feel big, it felt alone.

Pluto, with its mythology connections to the underworld and death, also has the irl implications of constantly being misjudged and misaligned in planetary boxes. Pluto is *also* known as the lonely planet! An outlier among the solar system. Sure he's there but "should he be?" He's not the correct look. Not the correct size. He doesn't fit the mould of a planet. And Scar doesn't fit the mould of a winner. He's a villain in the story. He's alone.

And it's not just the "being the villain" that doesn't make him fit (pretty much every other winner was the villain of the season), it's the fact the people underestimate him. Even as the villain people wrote him off as "Oh it's just Scar." Nobody teamed with him until the end.

Nobody expected Scar to win. He's never predicted to make it far in the games. I just feel like the undertone of Pluto, the icy planet that isnt even planet is kinda chilling. It feels like quite exceptance on Scars part. He was the last to live and finish the task, yet nobody to celebrate with, even if there was someone there. He was alone before and after.

It feels like being accepted into the solar system as an outsider, but having been there from the beginning.

This was kinda all over the place, but Pluto truthers RISE!

what if i wrote a “shen yuan transmigrates into a wife” oneshot but the whole premise is based on the song “gone, i’m gone” from hadestown and its overall theme is wanderlust and freedom and it starts out as Shen Yuan settling into life in the palace and trying to avoid harem drama and thinking he can just live with his head down for the rest of his new life, only to be hit with a sudden intense yearning to explore his new world the likes he’s never felt before. What if he was sickly in his last life. What if he spent his entire last life indoors. Trapped between four walls. What if love is not a gilded cage. What if he begins clawing at the walls of his enclosure, desperate to escape because he wants to live, god please let him live. He can’t do this again. What if he spent months preparing for his escape and in that same breath getting the attention of some of the other wives around him because he has changed and it makes them wary. what if he got binghe’s attention as he is wont to do. What if he left. What if Shen Yuan was born with a bottomless pit in his stomach and a gaping maw in his chest. What if he was starving. What if he was starving for the world around him. What if i wrote that. What then

there was something so interesting about uk hades/persephone that i cant quite put into words except every single action hades made was him poking persephone for any kind or reaction. whenever he said or did anything he would immediately turn to persephone to see if he was looking at him/how she was reacting. when he goes to find eurydice at the end of chant you can SEE that it was out of nothing but spite. like he wanted persephone to call him on his bluff except she never did so he didnt back down. but the one that got me the most was in why we build the wall. when eurydice rises into hadestown persephone looks sick to her stomach and when he delivers the question 'what do we have that they should want?' he looks directly into persephones eyes. afaik this part is usually delivered to eurydice as a way to indoctrinate her into the hadestown lifestyle but by delivering it to persephone it felt like he was saying this is YOUR fault YOU made her come here by not calling my bluff. 'what do WE have that THEY should want' as in what do we hades and persphone have that orpheus and eurydice want....

despite the little wings on your back, you can't fly yourself- they're too tiny, mostly there for balance and to flutter and twitch whenever you're curious or startled. you almost don't notice them at first when you first awaken, too busy examining your new mittens and tail in shock. Foul Legacy pokes them occasionally, trilling in curiosity- they're not quite like his wings. they're squishier, not as delicate, but less functional. a Melusine's domain is the sea, after all. you're not supposed to fly in the first place.

but as the Creator, shouldn't you be able to see the entire world?

Foul Legacy certainly thinks so. he ambles over to you, gently nudging his head against your back, urging you outside. not around people, of course. just somewhere quiet where you can see the sky, his claws wrapping gingerly around your waist. Legacy waits a few minutes until you nod in agreement so he can scoop you into his arms, spreading his glittering gossamer wings and taking flight, soaring up, up, up until Fontaine is more a smear of blue and green than a grand city.

Teyvat is even more beautiful from the air, clouds brushing your bloopy antennae and Legacy's arms holding you securely. you gasp in delight, the useless, lovely, wonderful wings on your back flapping a few times, and Legacy merely rumbles with a proud nod, giving you a small, protective squeeze.
