Y’know what, while I’m talking about Big Run I might as well talk about something I noticed, and that’s the fact that, even when we weren’t swarmed, people weren’t taking out Fish Sticks and were letting them pile up. This pretty much eliminated any swimmable ground. (Especially if a Drizzler and/or Flipper-Flopper showed up. Which happened more than once.)
Most of the time once I noticed I would drop what I was doing and take care of it, but in some instances where I noticed this I had a very bad weapon for fighting Fish Sticks (Grizz Slosher/Splatana, Explosher, etc.) and was unable to do anything about it while I watched my teammates just… run past them.
(It was also baffling to watch bc, like… those are free eggs. In an event where you’re trying to get a high score. ??????)

Prompt 250
So blame it on me making food-themed dragons, and failing to draw a full-body of the Ennead in the Class Pulls a Tiamat Aus. So Why not combine them- along with a hint of Ghosts are Dragons.
See, most, if not every, person in Amity Park, and even it’s surrounding areas, know better than to use the W word. It is borderline taboo to use the ‘wish’ word. But somebody got drunk, said a thing they shouldn’t have, and now there’s a bit of an issue.
Which honestly, they could have dealt with! Easily even! If not for the fact that erm, realms beings can get summoned. Meaning Desiree is well, gone. Gone long enough for the twenty-four hour mark to pass. And they can’t exactly punish a ghost for doing what’s in their nature and part of their very Core.
So.
It seems everyone is food themed now. Every ghost and liminal- though at least Amity was already weird and pretty hidden from the Outside nowadays- and even a few undead.
Honestly, Fright Knight should not look so terrifying with his new coloration and criss-cross patterns across his back. But well, he pulls it off, burnt-looking limbs and all. (Seriously, his flames look more like whip-cream now and he’s still somehow pulling it off- Dash wants to know his secret!
At least the nine of them haven’t gotten it too bad, probably. And Lunch Lady is pleased, so there’s that, but still. Jazz looks like a dragon sushi roll for Realm’s sake, and- okay that’s kind of funny. Vlad you can’t hide your new fruit-based appearance!
Hah!
Oh Realms there’ll need to be so much paperwork for th- Oh thank fuck someone is summoning them now. Alright, showtime! Time to be Heir of the Infinite, big scary nine headed dragon! Ignore the food-theme-ish guys!

no listen you don't understand- I am obsessed with how differently Anders reacts to Hawke hitting on him after completing his Tranquility quest depending on gender.
He talks about how he hopes he didn't come off as selfish for keeping Justice a secret, and Hawke has the flirty option of "at least he got a nice body."
With a lady Hawke, his response is a dramatic, "Noooo, don't do that~ Don't go there, I don't want to hurt you~ That's not going to end well~ I'll break your heart~" like he's so serious about it, and when Hawke tells him to do it, that she doesn't mind a little pain, he gives a hard no; "I'll break your heart and that might kill me as surely as the templars."
But with male Hawke?? Anders is like, ".....So y'know, in the circle everything is about rules and order so we apprentices found ways to make it bearable, if you know what I mean, hint hint wink wink. Karl and I? Yeah, he was my first. I've always believed people fall in love with a whole person, not just a body. Why would you shy away from loving someone just because they're like you? Soooo.... does it bother you that I've been with other men??"
Like.... Anders, babe, it's so interesting that you're out here warning a lady Hawke against getting involved with you but then with male Hawke suddenly "nooo don't do that~" is tossed out the window in favor of making sure he knows you're interested.

✨ #Worst in Thedas ✨
That's why Josephine had severely forbidden her from even saying the word "horse" in every state dinner. The mimicking was VERY necessary, of course. *followed by at least three puns with "sh*t"/"sh*tty". More if Varric is around.*
@ndostairlyrium launched the "Worst in Thedas" tag, challenging you to draw/write your DA character of choice... Entertaining the table with their quirkiest less socially acceptable interests. I couldn't resist to launch the horse girl into this.
The dress is a courtesy of Mo (I don't know whether to tag you in this), it's this beauty from the '60s that I decided to use in THIS of all occasions.

HERE'S A THOUGHT~!
Tumblr media
In the MCU, the Time Stone was found by the sorcerer Agamotto thousands of years ago.
"The Ancient One is the latest in a long line of Sorcerer Supreme, going back thousands of years to the father of the Mystic Arts, the mighty Agamotto. The same sorcerer who created the Eye you so recklessly borrowed."
—Wong
So this dude, someone who was according to official papers was "a being" who was not human. And from the looks of it found the stone on earth.
Now here is my thought about this, what if this guy found the Time Stone in the Crystal Cave all those years ago. It would make sense for the crystals in the cave to have been affected by the time stone and have the properties of possible futures.
The Birth Place of Magic.
Agamotto might have taken the time stone but some of it's powers still remained there in the cave. Druids and other magic folk revere and fear the cave, cause if not careful one could go mad with all the possible outcomes of the future.
Merlin, long after Camelot, ends up back in the Crystal Cave and witnessing all the possibilities of the future. He learns much but also goes slightly mad for a time.
Then at some point he travels and finds Kamar-Taj. There he can feel the Time Stone but much more powerful then the cave. It calls to him, recognising Merlin as a worthy wielder or fellow kin.
Now I'm completely for the concept of Merlin being Magic itself and if Magic came to be in that cave, Merlin is a part of the time stone as we saw in the first episode of Merlin where he basically stopped time saving Gaius and slowing it down saving Arthur.
If the Infinity Stones were created by the Big Bang from 6 singularities, what if there was a 7th one.
Magic.
Diverse and capable of all 6 aspects of existance.
Making Merlin one of the very few to be capable of touching the stone itself, along with the other five.
What do you think?

Hi! I have a funny lil question for you. Did you ever end up continuing your AO3 story “To The Victor Goes The Spoils”? If you didn’t, do you ever plan to? I know it’s literally almost been ten years LOL but it’s SO good so I had to ask lol. If no to that too, could you at least share how you think it would’ve ended? So my imagination can be sated haha. Thanks :)
oh mannnnn, how did I forget to go back for Viktor and his dragon and write them a part three?? hOW, self???? I LOVE that story, it's just been so long. Though I think it's only been four or five years, I haven't QUITE managed to pull another "yes it's been roughly a decade since this fic updated, now have 20k of complicated feelings about abuse and trauma and codependency via an ATLA/Animorphs fusion fic".
( . . . yet. 👀 )
I haven't written another installment/sequel for it, alas, but I DID have designs on doing one more update, and I do have a lil' bit of it started. So like, for that reason I'd prefer not to share exactly what I was planning for it in the hopes that I'll eventually get my brain to go back to it.
Buuuuut since you're asking and I'm easily influenced, lemme toss up the first scene behind a cut for you in offering to your imagination and thanks for your interest, haha.
( also, gonna include a link to the original human/dragon fantasy omegaverse story, for anyone who's currently reading this post and wondering which of the two HUNDRED things I've got on AO3 we're actually talking about right now, haha )
.
My treasure, the dragon rumbled. Viktor didn’t look up from weeding the garden. He was dealing with a particularly stubborn taproot.
“What is it?” he asked distractedly.
I have learned things, the dragon said, leaning into his line of sight. Viktor eyed them, then ripped out the taproot.
“I still haven’t forgiven you, you realize,” he said as he tossed the root aside with the other weeds.
You ASKED to be bred, the dragon grumbled sullenly.
“You don’t even know if it’ll have claws,” Viktor said.
All dragons have claws, the dragon said.
“And that seemed like a good idea to you?!” Viktor demanded. “That seemed like it would work out?!”
You ASKED, the dragon repeated, visibly put-out.
“So you just did it without thinking and now we don’t know what’s going to happen,” Viktor said.
I know what will happen, the dragon said. There will be a hatchling.
“But what kind of hatchling?” Viktor said. “Will I even be able to carry it?”
Yes, the dragon said. If you wish to.
“It wasn’t a wish,” Viktor said, ignoring the way that thought made his heart clench. He’d been stupid with lust and heat and the dragon had fucked him so overwhelmingly and he’d just . . .
It hadn’t been a wish.
I know what a wish sounds like, my Victor, the dragon said. Viktor bristled.
“And I know when I’m making one!” he snapped at them, getting to his feet and abandoning the weeding. The damn weeding could wait. This was at least the fourth fight they’d had since he’d realized what the dragon had done, and he didn’t want to have it. He didn’t want to fight at all.
It was just hard not to, under the circumstances.
He just wasn’t this kind of omega.

Just on the topic of things that mildly bug me from D&D 5e, I just wanna talk about white dragons for a bit?
I really love white dragons. They’re in my top three dragon subspecies, along with greens and golds. I especially adore the thing about their memory:
“Though only moderately intelligent, white dragons have extraordinary memories. They recall every slight and defeat, and have been known to conduct malicious vendettas against creatures that have offended them.” […] “A white dragon's flawless memory means that it knows how it came to possess every coin, gem, and magic item in its hoard, and it associates each item with a specific victory.” (Monster Manual)
As you can tell from things like Miirikjilinth, a homebrew white dragon NPC of mine, I love the potential worldbuilding implications of their memories. The arctic dragons, holding the oral history and memories of whole regions safe inside their minds. Now, granted, most whites are far too antisocial for that, but it’s still such a fantastic potential about them.
But. Right there in that quote is the thing that bugs me: though only moderately intelligent.
Why are white dragons written (and statted) as the dumb ones? They’re the ‘smallest, least intelligent, and most animalistic of the chromatic dragons’. Even Fizban’s Treasury of Dragons, despite lightening up on things like morality and alignment for chromatics, continues to hammer this point: “I enjoy an animated debate... just not with a white dragon. Impossible and ignorant, all of them. The air must be different in their arctic latitudes.” (Fizban himself). And the stats bear this out. White dragons have the lowest mental stats of any dragon, the only adult dragons that have an Intelligence of less than 10. They’re literally the only dragons to have a minus modifier to a mental stat. And it kind of kneejerk annoys me?
Now. Some of this could be me attaching too much value to numbers for intelligence. And there is an argument that whites are intended to be essentially the barbarians of the dragon world. Their emphasis is on hunting, combat, living off the land, being remote and antisocial and far from civilisation. Which, I do get that. But.
Barbarians are a player class, and a choice a player makes on what stats they can afford to dump. White dragons are a race of beings. Well. A subspecies of an intelligent species of beings. And with that in mind, having the entire subspecies be glossed as ‘bestial’, ‘animalistic’, and ‘the least intelligent’ of all their kind feels … weird.
The dragons that choose to live away from civilisation, that choose to live off the land, that prefer treasures taken from their natural environment (“However, in their remote arctic climes, the treasure hoards of white dragons more often contain walrus and mammoth tusk ivory, whale-bone sculptures, figureheads from ships, furs, and magic items seized from overly bold adventurers.” MM), that don’t like to have to talk to people that often, those dragons are dumb and animalistic. Despite the fact that their memories are basically the equivalent of the Keen Mind feat (which increases INT) but with recall for centuries rather than months.
Intelligence in D&D measures ‘mental acuity, accuracy of recall, and the ability to reason’. Four of the five INT skills are about memory rather than the ability to think on your feet (which, granted, might be a whole other argument). The basic ability descriptions repeatedly emphasis memory (‘a character with low Intelligence might speak simply or easily forget details’ PHB). Like, this might just be me, but I feel like a ‘flawless memory’ should give them a higher INT score than 8? Is it meant to be supernatural memory and fully divorced from their actual brain? Explain please.
I don’t know why it bugs me that much. It could just be because they’re one of my favourite dragons, and I’m annoyed that they’re widely described as being dumb as bricks just because they’re not one of the civilised sorts of dragons. Their WIS and CHA scores are also the lowest of any adult dragon, at 12 each, and while CHA makes sense considering they’re the most antisocial dragons, given their emphasis on hunting and perception and ambush, you’d think they’d at least get a better WIS score too. IDK, I just feel like you could give the adult white statblock, the ‘representative sample’ of their kind, at least the same mental stat spread as blacks and brasses (INT 14, WIS 13, CHA 17)? Maybe reverse the WIS and CHA scores, because, again, antisocial, plus hunters with good perception.
Anyway. Apologies, very random grumble that may, possibly, be some of my own biases (and favouritism) cropping up. But. The description does make me feel weird, and kneejerk protective of my vicious, feral, incredibly long-memoried white dragon beloveds.

I could technically get Dragon Ball Sparking Zero on Steam (I don't have PS5 or whatever the latest XBox is) but:
Yikes, expensive... $60 games are already scary enough. $70 game? Madness.
My computer may or may not have the specs for it. I checked, the numbers kinda seem okay, but who knows how much extra beef I'd need for it to function fluidly. And to not make my computer try to burn its surroundings. Or explode. Don't know if I should gamble with that.
It won't have that same Budokai Tenkaichi feel if I can't play it like I did with BT3 on the Wii- multiplayer battle with my brother on the TV.
So, I'll just observe from afar for now.
