Heon in ep 3 letting one of the many Vigilante copycats go bc he said they didn't have what he was looking for (if they were really the Vigilante they wouldn't be afraid to see him) and then Heon in ep 4 standing face to face with Ji Yong and having him check every box. literally immediately clocking him as a threat to the established law and order all while we have the voiceover flashback when he actually answered the professor's question as to what he would do if the Vigilante was one of them. Choices were made here and i shall not complain

The King: Eternal Monarch
Lee Min-ho as Lee Gon Kim Go Eun as Jeong Tae-eul / Luna Woo Do-Hwan as Jo Eun-seop / Jo Yeong Kim Kyung-nam as Kang Shin-Jae Jung Eun-Chae as Goo Se-ryeong Kim Yong-ji as Myeong Na-ri Lee Jung Jin as Lee Rim Kim Young-ok as Noh Ok-Nam Lee Hong-nae as Seok Ho-pil Kang Hong-seok as Jangmi
The King: Eternal Monarch is a story about a parallel world. Set in both Republic of Korea and Kingdom of Corea. Kingdom of Corea is like the alternative timeline where Korea is never successfully conquered by Japan and the country was never separated into two. The story starts on a flashback from the night of the treason in 1994. The traitor Lee Lim wants to obtain the magic flute named Manpasikjeok so he organized a coup. For him, the manpasikjeok and the throne was rightfully his. Him and his followers successfully killed the current king. Lee Lim gets to hold the flute but it was cut into two by the crowned prince Lee Gon. Lim was about to kill Lee Gon when he was stopped by a mysterious man dressed in black. The mysterious man successfully saved Lee Gon but he left an ID card. Lee Lim was declared dead in the Kingdom of Corea but he found a way to the Republic of Korea. He killed his other self and his other self's family. He hides on the other world while gaining his followers. Years later, they showed a playful but smart king in his thirties. Lee Gon grew up well with his uncle and court lady Noh on his side. Plus, he's well protected by his unbreakable sword aka Jo Yeong. Gon's motivation is Lt. Jeong Tae-eul id card. Court Lady Noh wants him to marry or find a girl already that's why she's setting up a talisman's card in his room. True enough he found a girl, on the other world. Thank God that Lee Gon is smart enough that he figured it out that he's in the other world but poor him because no one is believing him there.
This show is complex from start to end. I really like the idea of parallel universe and what ifs. They set the parallel world thinking what if their country is never conquered at all. But I must admit that this drama is not for everyone. The pacing is slow and some concepts are hard to comprehend. Nevertheless, I still love it. Tho, I didn't like the product placement. They are not subtle on showing it on the camera. Furtheremore, some cgi/green screen is not made well but it is kinda understandable. For me, they build up the story quite right. The plot twist is properly showed on the right time plus I really like how they hang the ending in every episode. Then, they will show it on different shots on the next episode. I also love how they differentiate the two person with safe faces. They emphasize that even though you have the same face, you will never be the same person. They have their own personalities and not just a copy of their other self. They also showed the differences in lives of the characters between the two worlds. Like the other one is having a good family and the other one is none at all. Or like Lee Gon is rich and king and close to his father but his other self is not. Lee Ji Hun is close to his uncle and poor. But still, they will both have the similarities aside from their faces as they both ended up in the military. Like Jeong Tae-eul and Luna both ended up becoming a cop.
One of the highlight of this drama is Woo Do Hwan. He perfectly portrayed Jo Yeong and Jo Eunseup. Like he can differentiate both. Yeong is stoic but he you can see that he really cares then there's the comedic Eun Seup. I admit he have a chemistry with himself. Jo Yeong and Jo Eun seup is the example of the parallel characters that can be friends (somehow they even consider theirselves as brothers) and having no intention to kill one another. Woo Do Hwan nailed his acting in this drama.
Jo Yeong as Jo Eun Seup:
-There's an episode when Lee Gon wants to eat but instead they encountered a group of gangsters. Jo Yeong came to the rescue but Jo Eun Seup's seniors saw him. He immediately copied Eun Seup's accent but not to the extend of being Eun Seup. Like you can really tell that it is still Jo Yeong. Plus, his chemistry with the twins. He grew fond of them.
Jo Eun Seup as Jo Yeong:
-Woo Do Hwan nailed Jo Yeong serious self (like he's fine af with that hair and suit). But when he was Jo Eun Seup acting as Jo Yeong, everything he did was comedic. Like when he tried to pull out his gun or when his saying "Yes, your majesty" acting serious but not to the point of being Yeong. Like he's being Eun Seup in Yeong's clothes.
Both of them become Lee Gon's unbreakble sword. Both loyal and both willing to sacrifice their lives.
VISUALS:
One of my fave scene is when he announced that Tae-eul will be the queen and they need to protect her!
The ending for me is perfect. The second lead man ended up (in terms of pairing) with the female lead's other self. I think they kinda hint it when Luna kissed Shin-Jae. Plus Luna is adopted by Goo Seryeong's mom and she did have her own name this time(Koo Seo-gyeong). Seryeong's in jail for all the bad deeds she did. Lee Ji Hun is alive and became part of the navy. The real Shin Jae grew up well and became a ceo(?) while Eun Seup marries Nari. Jeong Tae-Eul cannot be the queen because Luna is still existing in Kingdom of Corea. But I think she will still marry Gon and have that weekend trips with him. Gon will not worry about a successor because his cousin (the good one) will be the next in line. Also, eventhough only three of them knows what happened (Yeong, Gon and Tae-eul) it was still ok. It was actually a fine ending for me. I really enjoyed it but again, its not that type of drama that everyone will like. It really depends on the viewer and its fine if you didn't like it. And this show is not as bad as the others says. Because in 2020, I read a lot of bad reviews about this drama so I have zero hope when I started this out. But it turns out fine. Not the best but not THAT bad.

Alyuin (1)
Alyiun Club:
You'd think that managing a business is easy and there are no troubles that find you, other than miscalculated reports. But not this one, for various reasons. One being, the business in question is a club and second, it is managed by 9 girls. It's safe to say they were pretty good at their job. The occasional fights break out and they resolve them pretty quickly, but this one needed a little more attention.
Sang Soo was behind the bar, bartending, it was her hobby and quite frankly she was good at it. It's also a great place to keep an eye on the customers. As she made drinks she surveyed the surroundings. Her eyes zeroed in on two guys, who were manhandling two of the waitresses that work there, Min Ji and Seo Yun. Sang Soo’s eyes were glued on the scene for a few minutes, her gaze hardening when she took in the girls uncomfortable state. She was about to ring the security when Yong Sang came out from the back.
“I see them but we can't do anything yet, they have already paid and should leave soon,” she spoke with a calm voice but you could see the hardness in her eyes. Sang Soo released a slow breath before turning her back to the crowd.
“If they don’t leave I am kicking them out. The girls are uncomfortable, they seem to know each other.” Sang Soo stated.
“Nevertheless I'll call Ji Mi out” Yong Sang threw over her shoulder as she made her way to Ji Mi’s office.
Sang Soo rolled her eyes and murmured, ‘I can take care of myself’, before huffing and finishing a margarita for a short blonde girl.
‘Clearly, you forgot about the in-ear piece because you didn't even try to hide your growling’ Rae Jae’s voice rang through Sang Soo’s right ear. She swore in her head and let out a ‘sorry’.
“It’s fine, I see them too, and it’s disgusting, I can’t wait for the show”
“There won't be one” a voice cut in before Sang Soo could reply with an eager ‘hell yeah’. Sang Soo’s eagerness died in her throat as she realized that Ji Mi had decided to join their conversation but was nowhere in sight.
“Somehow you manage to ruin my fun without even moving a finger,” Sang Soo grunted under her breath while shooting a customer a friendly smile as they decided to leave in favor of the dance floor. She turned at the call of another customer,
“Blue Martini” his voice cut through the loud music. She nodded and started making the cocktail before turning her attention back to the two guys. Je Ki’s voice cut through the earpiece asking whose voice is that and why it was that deep, but that was the least of Sang Soo’s worries right now, the situation wasn't looking very good.
“Do something or I’ll be kicking their asses out of here!” Sang Soo growled as she watched Ji Mi approach the two guys that were holding the two struggling girls. Sang Soo kept her eyes on the scene while also making the guy’s drink. When she got the hint that they weren’t budging and decided that it was the last straw.
“I am going in” she murmured before turning to the cat-eyed deep voice customer. He looked at her with an interested smirk.
“Excuse me, I'll have your drink ready in a minute, but I have to deal with a mild inconvenience first.” she excused herself before taking off her apron and sliding over the counter, making her way to the two guys she's been wanting to beat the whole time they've been here. The cat-eyed customer turned to watch what the cute bartender was going to do to the two gorilla-sized men.
“Is there a problem?” she menacingly asked. Ji Mi turned to her and said that they refuse to leave.
“She asked you politely to leave” she repeated with a glare.
“I see no reason for us to leave when we’re not done,” one of the buffoons said, still holding on Min Ji, who up close looked like she wanted to cry.
“Please let go of my employees and escort yourselves out before I call the security guards,” Sang Soo said sharply to the two men. Seo Yun literally looked so done, she tried to rip herself out of the man’s grip but he tightened his hold and she scrunched up her face in pain.
“It's against regulations to harass the waitresses,” Ji Mi said with a deadpan voice, her patience running thin.
“They’re not waitresses here, they quit.” the man holding Seo Yun spits out with a disgusting smile.
“You have no right to say that. You have no power over me anymore, we broke up. Get it through your thick dumb head” Seo Yun raised her voice, while Min Ji nodded her head.
‘‘How the fuck did you even know that they knew one another, Sang Soo?” Yong Sang asked her through the earpiece.
“Clearly, they’re uncomfortable and have already ended things with each other” Sang Soo said matter of factly and looked the intruders straight in the eyes “so, you should either get out on your own or I'll have to kick your asses out myself.” Sang Soo threatened.
The cat-eyed customer raised a questioning eyebrow. His attention shifted when someone took the previous bartenders’ position. Her name tag said, Hyo Gun. Her attention was on the scene before them. He turns back to see the two men face to face with Sang Soo and the brown haired girl.
“And how are you going to do that, bitch?” he spat in her face.
Sang Soo smirked at the curse word and buffed her chest even more “Well, you see, the security guard will take around 30 seconds to arrive here and in those 30 seconds I can dislocate both your shoulders and break your nose without breaking a sweat.” she nonchalantly said staring intently at them.
“You think you can take us?” the other one responded to her threat.
“Just try me.” she challenged. She could beat them up if she wanted to, but she doesn't want to start a fight. That would just end with her getting in trouble for initiating a fight with a customer. It would be better if the customer throws the first punch. Everything after that would've been a self-defense act and if anything she could get a bonus or a raise.
“Please, remove yourselves from the premises immediately.” she tried again. In a blink of an eye, one of the men threw a punch her way. Fortunately, she caught it with ease. “You leave me no choice.” she sighed, her face showed disinterest before it morphed into hatred.
The customer at the bar was caught off guard when she easily twisted his arm behind his back. He could vaguely hear the girl, Hyo Gun, behind him calling for the security guards.
Once the other guy processed that a fight had started, he turned to Ji Mi and moved his first in her direction. She easily avoided him, as he was more wasted than the man Sang Soo was handling. She hit the side of his head to disorient him. The two waitresses had already left the scene and gone to the back to report to Soo Mi since she's kinda in charge of damage control.
The two girls had kicked their asses when the security guards finally showed up. One of the two men was passed out cold while the other one had a busted lip. To say he was pissed would be an understatement.
“You're banned from coming here ever again.” Ji Mi calmly said. Sang Soo waved her hand sarcastically before returning to her post behind the bar. Hyo Gun helped around for a while before going to the back.
The handsome stranger was surprised, as he didn't think that this would happen. They were very intriguing. He turned to Sang Soo, who looked as if she didn't just beat a man twice her size. He had very good attention to details. He was watching the fight and he knows for a fact that Sang Soo received one of hell of a punch to her left side, which was unprotected. She had a blind spot, she didn't protect her left side. But he’ll give her props, she knew a lot based on her performance, and so did the other girl, which is weird. He knows for a fact that when they’re hiring they don’t look for a specific requirement, like knowing self-defence. He would know this since he co-owns this club. He isn't surprised that they don't know who he is, because frankly, he doesn't know them either, but they made an impression, so he's going to make Kyungsoo and Jongdae dig.
“I am sorry, can you repeat your drink again?” she asked him.
“Blue Martini” he repeated. She nodded and finished his drink a lot faster than before.
“I think you need to take your break” Hyun Jin came out, tying her apron and taking over.
“I know you say you’re fine, but Sang Hee wants to check on you, you were sloppy and he got a hit on you.” she continued knowing that Sang Soo was going to argue.
Cat-eyed stranger, Minseok, lifted his head slightly. He looked around and saw the security cameras that were stationed at every corner, then back at the new bartender. He could see the earpiece in her left ear through her hair. He may not know who he hired, but he does know what they provide to workers, and it's definitely not earpieces. He paid for his drink and made his way to the house. He needed to do some research, this wasn’t over.
“Fine, but he really was tipsy so his ‘hits’ were even that hard” she excused herself and made her way to the back only to meet Sang Hee half the way.
“You worry too much” Sang Soo muttered to Sang Hee, who was already peeling a bruise patch.
“And because I worry too much I saved you from internal bleeding last month, which means that you shouldn't have fought at all!” she huffed.
“I couldn't help it, besides I was itching for a fight. I haven't punched anything in the last three weeks.” Sang Soo whined.
“You’re a bartender, you shouldn't be fighting at all, we have security guards for that,” Rae Jae stated coming in the locker room.
“How come no one is scolding Ji Mi?” Sang Soo whined looking at a crossed arm upset Ji Mi.
“Oh, come on, not you too!” Sang Soo whined again.
“Control your anger” she commented. Je Ki came in and had a piece of paper.
“Well, congratulations! You kicked ass in front of the owner of the club.” she fake cheered.
“Look, I know we won't get fired. she sighed. “I think it was the blue martini guy” she added, catching their attention.
“Why?”
“The letter said, he’ll order a blue martini if he's satisfied.”
“Hey at least he was still satisfied.” Hyun Jin said.
“Fun” Sang Hee uttered. Soo Mi came in and looked at the scene and sighed before sitting down.
“The girls are okay, we’re relocating them to Love Shot just in case.”

Kwon Ji Yong
G-Dragon/Kwon Jiyong Scenario
Genre : Angst, friends with benefit
Request : Can request a Kwon Jiyong scenario in which you’re in a ‘friends with benefits’ relationship with him, but you develop actual feelings for him while he feels the same but keeps pushing you away. And about the ending, surprise me if it’s going to be happy or not 🤔😂💕
You had known the famous G-Dragon for quite a long time. You had seen him on TV, YouTube, through his music, fashion, basically everywhere. The guy who was not that far in age with you but for sure was way more success that you could ever be. You could call yourself someone who fancy him, not as much as a fan, but you enjoyed his stuff a lot.
But getting to know Kwon Jiyong was a whole different story. It was miracle, you believed. Your friend, who was a composer, was having this dinner to celebrate his birthday, and that was when you were introduced to Kwon Jiyong. The guy was surprisingly calm and kinda shy, not as what you were used to see on the screen of your phone or laptop. The two of you got along quite fast after that dinner, exchanging your numbers, and even him inviting you to grab some food with him sometimes. Not that it was a date or anything, since he got his other friends too, but hey, it was nice.
Three months being friends with him, you two became quite close. He even sometimes paid you a visit just to find inspiration, as what he explained, or simply just to hangout when he was bored. When the medias caught up to him visiting you, the entertainment made some kind of “statement” that you were just an acquaintance that was helping him with his album. Well, at least that wasn’t completely a lie. It was then when suddenly the silly idea popped out from his mind. Being an idol, his love life was not really the best. He couldn’t just date someone without the media attacking him or the other person. Hell, he could not even hangout without the media noticing. So, you weren’t completely surprised he wanted something like this.
It was one cold night, when he just got back from his solo concert in Japan, that he decided to visit you to bring you a gift. You kinda asked him for a Japanese whisky, and you were completely joking, but Kwon Jiyong was just THAT kinda guy. The two of you were watching The Walking Dead, while having some leftover pizzas and of course, whisky, when he suddenly asked the crazy question.
“Hey, wanna hookup?”
That night, you couldn’t even recall too much, all you remembered was his groans and how you screamed his name like it was the last thing you could do. You knew very well that this was a very dangerous game to play, oh you knew, but the sweet taste of Jiyong was too heavenly for you to resist. You were in big trouble. It was okay, this is just a one-time thing, right?
You woke up with Jiyong’s hand on your waist, and his face snuggled on your neck, you could feel his breaths. When he felt you move, the first thing he said wasn’t a good morning.
“Can we do this again?”
All you did was nod.
And so Jiyong’s visit became more and more frequent. Well, of course, minus the schedules and all, but you know. It would always start with him doing his lyrics or him bringing food, and would end up at your bed, or sometimes when both of you were feeling wild, sofa, or the floor.
Jiyong didn’t play you, and you knew that, he had said before that he wanted to have fun with you and that he needed this to relieve his stress. He also made sure you were 100% okay with this kind of situation as well, but your heart betrayed you.
You began to see more and more of Jiyong instead of G-Dragon, which was not a bad thing. You noticed how beautiful his smile was, showing his gums and his eyelids closed, it was breathtaking. The silly gifts he got from his tours started to make your heart beat, the way it shouldn’t, and every night he crawled into your bed, you felt like you made love instead of just a hookup.
One night, all of the sudden Jiyong called you, saying that he couldn’t come, and that he never would anymore.
You asked why, but he just simply said that his schedule became more hectic and he would not have time anymore to visit you. Of course the silly you would just smile it away like it was nothing and even wished him good luck on his job. You lied though, you spent the night crying like a little baby.
You shouldn’t be upset right? After all, Jiyong himself made it clear that this was nothing, that you were still just friends, just with benefits. Now that the benefit’s gone, it shouldn’t affect your friendship, right? Well, it was true but it was also too late for you to think of something like that because you knew you had fallen for him. He still invited you when he celebrate something or just to hangout, it wasn’t like your friendship just went to hell or anything, it was just that now you wanted more than just a friendship.
But then you noticed something, Jiyong seemed to distance himself from you, although just a little bit, you could feel how “strange” he acted towards you. Did someone find out? you wondered. You tried your best to convince yourself that it was probably nothing, but once again, your heart failed you, after all, your heart was definitely on Jiyong’s side rather than yours.
***
It was the day before Christmas, when your heels decided to just break out of the blue and your friends were nowhere near your reach, you couldn’t even contact them, they were probably busy partying somewhere else while you were left with your broken heels. It was pretty cold, so you decided to just grab a taxi, then when you walked down the stairs at your work place, you fell down, thanks to your pure luck and also broken heels. You were now frustrated, as it was almost 11pm and there was only a few people left in your workplace. Oh how you regret the overtime.
You sighed and looked at your phone, the last one you hadn’t tried to call was Jiyong, but you immediately shooed the thought as he was probably busy, knowing him, but the night turned colder and your knees and feet were hurt, so you decided it was worth the shot and called him.
“Hello?” The voice you missed too much was heard.
“Ji!” You swallowed your saliva.
“Ah, hey, whatsup?”
“I... are you busy?”
“I’m at Youngbae’s house, we’re having a small dinner just with the boys, Top hyung is here too.”
“I-I see...” You sighed. You really did not want to interrupt them. “Sorry for interrupting then—“
“Where are you?”
“Huh?”
“You called, it must be important. So, where are you?”
“Jiyong, I don’t think—“
“Just answer me.”
You gulped. He sounded almost like he was pleading, and it wasn’t any good for your heart.
“I... I’m in my workplace...” You said but your voice was cracked and you were already crying before you realize.
“Okay.” Then he hung up.
You felt terrible. You felt extremely horrible. You must be such an unimportant thing that he just hung up like that after hearing you cry. You were angry, but mostly, just heartbroken. You didn’t care anymore, sitting on the stairs of your workplace, you kept crying without caring about your knees or even about going home.
A few minutes later, you heard the sound of a sport car rushing before stopping in front of you. You peeked up and then your heart stopped. You knew this car. You knew this white Lamborghini. You knew it very well.
Jiyong opened the window and called you. “Get in!”
“What are you doing?! You know well your car is very noticeable, right?”
“Doesn’t matter! Just—“ He stopped. “What happened to your knees???”
Without saying anymore words, he got off from his car, opened his front seat door, and scooped you in his hands like it was no business before putting you in the front seat.
The first few minutes of the ride was silent, complete dead silence as he didn’t have any music on his car whatsoever. Jiyong was the first to break the silence.
“What happened?”
“My heels broke and I fell from the stairs.”
“And?”
“And what?”
“You were crying...” He sighed.
“It was nothing.” You looked down.
“Oh come on! You can’t just lie like that.”
“You shouldn’t— you don’t need to know!” You raised your voice a bit without realizing.
Jiyong was taken aback and then decided to stay silent for the rest of the ride until both of you arrived at your apartment. He was about to open his door before you prevented him.
“No, I can walk. Let’s not forget how cameras are everywhere. You remember which car you got right now, right?”
“And? I’ll tell my manager to handle this shit just please you can’t walk yourself like that...”
You refused to be carried, so instead you just held his arms as a support. Your heart was beating like crazy. It had been around two months since you last touched him and being like this made your heart screaming like it was your first time. It was weird, but no matter how much you try to deny it, you missed this feeling.
You immediately sat down on your sofa when you arrived. You sighed in relieve as you felt the pain decreased a bit because you were no longer in your broken heels. You didn’t realize that Jiyong was already back from grabbing your first aid kit and ready to treat your wound.
You smiled a little. “It was just a small cut, you know?”
“You still need to clean it up.”
“It’s really not that serious! It was hard to walk because of the bump but the scar is barely hurting me, so don’t worry.”
“Then whatever, I’ll treat your wound first, then I’ll give you a feet massage.”
“W-Wait hold on.”
Without looking up he replied. “What.”
“Why are you being nice to me again?”
He didn’t reply instead he just focused on your wound. After he’s done, you were about to protest again but he already carried you to your bed.
“Jiyong,”
“Hmm.”
“Did I do something?” You cried silently.
He looked at you and wiped your tears but again, he remained silent. He then began to massage your feet gently.
“Tell me if it hurts, alright?”
Your tears didn’t stop flowing as you couldn’t control your emotions anymore. “J-Jiyong...”
“Did it hurt?”
You shook your head a few times. “Ji,” You decided it was the best for you to at least tell him how you feel, that way you wouldn’t feel anymore burden in your shoulder, maybe. “I love you. I really do...”
Much to your surprise the guy didn’t say anything in return and just continued massaging your feet. You then went quiet too, even though your heart was broken into pieces. You bit your lips as you tried to hold back your tears, but it didn’t seem to work too well.
After making sure you feel well, Jiyong stood up, and simply bid his goodbye, telling you to take care and stuff. You glanced at the view of his back, still with tears in your eyes, but you thanked him anyway, after all, he did help you.
You heard the doorknob twisted but it seemed like the door was never opened. Instead, you saw Jiyong turned back to you, his eyes were red and glistening. You were confused but not for long as he suddenly claimed your lips hungrily as if he would die if he couldn’t get the taste your lips.
“Shit.” The guy muttered to himself. “I really can’t do it, huh.”
“W-What are you talking about...”
He hugged you so tight that you felt his heartbeat. “I thought it was for the best since I know sooner or later the medias will get you too, and... and I’m not a great person...” He said with his face buried on your hair. “I love you too, and I’m so so sorry... I’m sorry for being selfish, but I’m not letting you go.”
It was then that you truly fully saw the Kwon Jiyong beneath G-Dragon, how he was not as strong and cool as how he wanted the world to see him, just a guy, just a human being, a human being that you loved too much.
yayy! i finally finished another scenario! *patting my own shoulders* 😂 i hope you enjoy this and please kindly give me your feedback <3 i’m still not that confident with my writing 😅

Top Daily Reporter Choi Ji-eun = tvN's new Wednesday and Thursday drama 'Tale of the Nine Tailed' Lee Dong-wook, Jo Bo-ah, and Kim Beom give a triple charm with 'three character posters' with unrivaled colors that increase immersion. TVN's new Wednesday and Thursday drama ' Tale of the Nine Tailed ' (director Kang Shin-hyo / screenplay Hanwoori / production Studio Dragon, How Pictures), which will be aired for the first time at 10:30 pm on Wednesday, October 7th, is about a male Gumiho who settles in the city and followed by a producer. It is a fantasy, action and romance drama. Lee Dong-wook was once a mountain god of Baekdu-daegan, but now he plays Gumi-ho Yi Yeon, who settled in the city center, Jo Bo-ah plays Nam Ji-ah, a ghost story program PD with a brave personality behind an innocent face. Kim Beom plays the role of a half-human and half-gumiho, the most dangerous existing Gumi-ho Yi Rang. In this regard, on the 24th (today), Lee Dong-wook, Jo Bo-ah, and Kim Beom have unveiled a 'character poster' of the three people who foretold a fantasy that did not exist in a world where Gumi-ho, humans, and anti-human are mixed. First, Yi Yeon, who leaned obliquely in a space where the luxurious background stands out, made a fatal expression and said, “Tell that human. If you can catch it, catch it.” He shows off his charisma full of leisure and makes his eye-catching look. Jo Boah, who plays Nam Jiah's sharp expression through her hair fluttering in the blowing wind, stares at the front with a dazzling gaze burning with a desire to compete, giving a strong atmosphere. In addition, the addition of the phrase “The 'that guy' that I want to catch madly' has appeared,” raising questions about Nam Jiah's actions, which informed him of the cruel pursuit. Lastly, Kim Beom, who is in the role of Yi Rang, dressed up with a red suit, gives an unknown coolness with cold eyes, different from a playful expression. At the same time, the phrase “did you not want to see me?” overlaps, creating a feeling of tension. Lee Dong-wook, who exudes coolness for every cut taken at the character poster set, raised expectations by saying that a poster with a different feeling from the existing drama would be completed while monitoring. Jo Boah, who consistently showed her coolness here, received rave reviews for her undisturbed eyes. And Kim Bum, who appeared with a bright smile, suddenly turned into a cold-filled appearance as the camera turned, and was admired pouring out around him. The production crew said, "The 'character poster' was created with the intention to announce the beginning of a fantasy that did not exist in the world with the three character signatures of Gumi-ho Yi Yeon, the human Nam Ji-ah, and the half-human-gumiho Yi Rang are explosive. Please look forward to the 'Tale of the Nine Tailed' that will be born as a high-strength fantasy action romance that will make you forget reality through intense acting.” (And supporting characters were also shared: Only nine tail foxes live in the city? Rap Daddy (5)
Episode 5: Rap Cook
The cameras began rolling outside a tall apartment building. The sun was bright but the cool wind helped even out the temperature.
The PD walked ahead of the camera as they climbed up many flights of stairs. When they got to the right floor they began walking down the halls in search of the proper number.
Once they found it the PD rang the doorbell.
After a few seconds the door was opened by a woman with long wavy blonde dyed hair. She covered her mouth as she laughed. “Oh it’s you.” She was emberassed to open the door and reveal the inside of her home. “Come in” she whispered.
The PD walked in first and handed her a card with the show’s title on it.
“They aren’t awake yet” she continued to whisper not wanting to wake them so suddenly.
“It’s okay” the producer proceeded to hand her a marker. “The first thing we have to do is with you.”
“Me” she widened her eyes in shock.
“All you have to do is write down a dish you want to challenge your husband to make.”
This time her eyes darted from side to side in thought. “Namjoon cuts ingredients and preps everything very well but he can’t cook.”
“You can chose anything you think he can do.”
She tapped the marker against her cheek a few times before writing down her dish and handing it to the PD. “Will my baby starve if he can’ make it?”
The PD giggled knowing she was worried for her daughter.
After a few minutes Namjoon’s wife led them to Mona’s room. “It might be a bit messy so excuse me for that.” The door to her room had a big glittery sign on it with her name.
Once inside the lights were off but the sunlight coming in from the curtains was enough to see Namjoon’s body as his legs hung from the small bed. He laid on his side, one arm underneath his head and the other wrapped around Mona who had her face hidden in his chest.
“He fell asleep reading to her.” His wife tried to explain why Namjoon was fully dressed while Mona was in her pajamas. She then bent down to tug on Namjoon’s hoodie. “Jagiya” she called out to him and he slowly rose up not forgetting to also scoop up his daughter.
He sat at the edge of her bed trying to sit her up so she too could wake up. “Baby girl” he showered her face with kisses until her eyes opened.
There was no smile on her face as she jumped off of his lap and stood in the room looking up at the camera. “Hello” she said in a groggy voice making herself laugh.
“Let’s get you ready. You have to film today” Namjoon’s wife began to walk Mona to the bathroom.
After a few minutes Mona appeared back in her room well dressed and a smile on her face. “Do I need to take anything” she asked the cameraman who then shook his head. “I’m still taking my backpack.”
He filmed her as she grabbed her backpack off of the floor and walked to her bookshelf. “These are my most precious possessions” she motioned to them. “I always have to write down my thoughts when I have them or they go away forever.”
Namjoon walked into her room holding a bottle of water. “Aren’t you going to eat” he asked her.
She nodded, “I want quesadilla.”
“Let’s go then” he held his hand out and she took it. When they got to the kitchen Namjoon’s wife had already placed Mona’s breakfast on the table. “Be careful it’s hot.”
Once they had finished Namjoon kissed his wife goodbye. “Take care of my baby” she told him.
“Of course” he responded.
She then crouched down and gave her daughter a kiss. “Be good okay.”
Mona nodded. “Adios Mama” she shouted before walking out with her father, the producer, and the camera man.
One of the show’s writers was put in charge to act as producer as they went to pick up Yongguk.
When they got to his house they knocked on the door and were greeted by Yongguk himself. “Come in” he opened the door wide so they could go in.
Inside Yongguk’s wife came into frame. Her short hair grazed her shoulders as she bowed her head greeting them. “Good morning” she smiled before offering them a drink. “Would you like some water or coffee?”
Both the writer and cameraman declined.
“Oh, the boys are in their rooms.” She walked towards the hall. “Yong-Min... Yong-Jin” she called out to them with a pause in between. “Honey you should go make sure they heard.”
Yongguk nodded knowing his sons would play video games with the volume all the way up.
As he went for his sons the writer gave his wife the same card Namjoon’s wife had been given. “For today we are asking the Moms to pick a dish they want the Dads to make.”
“All of them together or just Yongguk?”
“Yongguk-shi has to make it for your children.”
“Ah” she nodded before writing down her request. “Yongguk should be fine with this one.” She handed the card to her with a smile. “The boys might not like it though. They are very picky.”
The twins came out to where the staff was and greeted them. Yongguk came from behind them now wearing his jacket and ready to go.
“Bye Mom” the boys announced in unison before being stopped by her.
“Kiss for Yong-Min and a kiss for Yong-Jin” she kissed each of them but as she said their names they chuckled.
“Wrong mom, I’m Yong-Min.”
Yongguk then began laughing. His wife had gotten mad after seeing the recording. She thought if people knew she mixed up her own kids she would be labeled a bad Mom. She refused the idea that she always got it wrong.
“Lies” she stood them next to each other trying to see who was taller. That was when she saw she had made a mistake.
“Don’t worry” Yongguk hugged his wife trying to console her before leaving.
When the staff appeared at Bobby’s house his wife and son answered the door together. She swept her long black hair over her ear trying to avoid having it in her face. “Hello, good morning” she greeted in a soft voice.
Ji-Young was so well dressed the staff thought he was on his way out to a photo shoot but learned he had actually just gotten back from one. “Did he not sleep?” they asked.
“He got home at one in the morning.”
“Two” Ji-Young corrected her. “Then woke up at five for another shoot and just got home ten minutes ago.”
His mother nodded agreeing with him. “Bobby went with him so he’s actually taking a shower now. Can I offer you a drink while you wait?”
“Water would be fine.”
“Mommy” a loud high pitched voice called out to her.
Not long after Bobby’s daughter was seen. She froze as she saw the cameras. Ji-Soo was the complete opposite of her brother. She was very shy and reserved.
Ji-Young went to his younger sister and got in front of her blocking the camera. “It’s okay Ji-Soo no one can see you.”
“Oppa” she squealed happy that her brother had saved her.
He walked her over to his mother only for her to hide behind her skirt and follow her around like usual.
“It’s okay Ji-Soo” she held her hand as she got the water the writer asked for. She was then given the task of writing down a dish for Bobby. “Bobby hates cooking” she joked but it was true. He was afraid of getting cut or burned. This was why he never allowed his kids in the kitchen unless he or his wife were with them. “Maybe something without much preparation.”
She handed the card back to her along with her water.
Going back out to the living room she caught sight of Bobby coming out of the shower with only his pants on. His wet hair and abs stole the show as he walked out to greet the staff.
“Bobby” his wife scolded him. She was very jealous and hated when he showed off his muscles but he loved to show them off. This lead to him getting in trouble many times. “Look Ji-Soo Daddy is being bad again.”
“Bad Daddy” Ji-Soo was on her mother’s side. She helped her convince him to put on a shirt. She puffed out her cheeks in a pout prompting Bobby to kiss them. “I’m sorry baby. I’ll go change okay?”
The little girl then smiled once again in content.
“Come help Daddy chose a shirt.” He took her with him in the direction of his room while Ji-Young stayed with his mother and waited for him to be ready.
Mino’s girlfriend sat on the couch with King in her lap.She had her arms wrapped around him as he laid back onto her. They were waiting for Mino to finish getting ready to go.
The staff handed her the card and marker. “We need you to write down a dish for Mino to make.”
“Mino has to cook?” she asked surprised. When they confirmed she began laughing but King shook his head is dismay.
“Mino doesn’t know how to cook at all. He doesn’t even know the difference between a pot and a pan” she joked.
“It can be anything, he will have to cook it for your son.”
She looked down at her son who looked up at her with worry. “Write something easy” he begged her.
She nodded before turning to the side and writing it down. Her hazel colored hair obstructed King’s view of the card. She quickly handed it back before wrapping her arms back around her son. “My poor baby will starve.” She kissed the top of his head.
Just then Mino came out freshly dressed and ready to go. “Let’s go King.”
King got up allowing his mother to stand up as well. He hugged her before running to the door.
Mino then took the chance to approach her. He wrapped his arms around her before giving her a small peck on the lips. “We’ll be going now.”
“Do your best” she advised him with a smirk. She knew he would probably mess up and her son would end up having to ask someone else for food. “Make sure you take care of my baby.”
One by one the staff gathered their small groups all together under the same room.
Bobby and Mino were the first to arrive.
“Rap King” Ji-Young ran to greet his friend. Because of Mino and Bobby’s lasting friendship, their kids had also formed a bond. They would often see each other and became friends. Having a shared interest in rapping made them especially close.
King turned to the voice and smiled. “Young Boss” he responded before shaking hands with him in a very hip-hop manner like they always did.
“Bobby” Mino called out to his own friend who went to greet him.
“I was feeling very nervous when we got here” Bobby confessed. “But seeing Mino come through the doors instantly made me calm down. I felt like I could breathe.
As the two friends sat down and caught up with each other the two boys explored the room they were in.
Ji-Young knew it was a recording studio. He was familiar with them because he often did photo shoots in those locations. “King look” he called over the younger boy.
“What?” King watched as he pointed to a far wall on the other side of the studio with pictures of all the Rap Daddies.
Their attention was then switched to the door as a high pitched voice spoke. “Hello” Mona greeted them from her father’s arm. She had requested he carry her since she was still tired.
“Mona” King instantly went towards her.
“Daddy put me down” she requested. Once she was down King and her hugged each other.
Rap Monster proceeded to the area the other fathers were at. “Rap Mon” Mino greeted him comfortably. His son was classmates with his daughter but they were also very clearly good friends. Many times their wives got together so their kids could play.
It wasn’t the first time Bobby was meeting Namjoon but it would be the first time they would talk beyond greetings.
“I think I’ll be the most comfortable on the show.”
“Why?”
“Because Bobby is a long time friend of mine and thanks to King I have already met Namjoon many times before. I don’t call him friend but I do call him In-Law.” Mino laughed. “King likes Mona.”
Namjoon watched as his daughter was introduced to Bobby’s son for the first time...
“I’m glad she has someone she knows here. I think King will help her adjust to being in front of the cameras even though I don’t really see her having a problem with it.”
“We heard Mino calls you In-Law.”
Namjoon chuckled as his head dropped.
“Would you agree to your daughter dating King?”
Namjoon visibly jolted as he raised his head back up. “She’s still too young to think of that.” She was his baby girl, he wasn’t ready to hand her over anytime soon.
The last to arrive was Yongguk and the twins. As soon as he entered the other three stood up and bowed to him.
Yongguk was their senior in the industry and they showed their respect to him. It was rare to get to meet with him now that he kept himself more reserved.
When Mona saw the twins she instantly went towards them and began talking with them.
“I like the older Oppas. They talk really fast.” Mona tucked her hair behind her ear. “I want to be fast when I get older too.”
The producer cleared her throat before introducing the first task. “Welcome everyone to our semi-permanent set. Today in order to help you all adjust and feel welcomed we have decided to make you all work together.”
A staff member rolled out a huge whiteboard filled with names of different cooking utensils and ingredients. “This morning we asked the mom’s to write down a dish for the dad’s to make.”
Bobby’s eyes widened at the mention of this.
Bobby exhaled loudly before shaking his head. “Why did it have to be cooking?”
“On this board are all the things you will need hiding among other useless ones. You will have to earn ingredients for the team by rapping. You must create a four-bar verse and win the item for everyone.”
“That’s easy” Ji-Young nodded. “I can get it all myself.”
“What were you thinking as you heard the challenge?” The producer asked Yong-Jin.
“Get the dongsaengs to write down the verse and give it to Yong-Min. He can finish it quickly.”
King had the advantage of knowing his mother had been asked to do this. He immediately started thinking of what she could have picked.
As they all began to read the items on the board they started making a strategy. “We need to get the basic cookware first” Yongguk suggested.
They all agreed.
Mona took her backpack off and took her notebook out. She began flipping through pages knowing she already had written for some of those words.
“I have one for knife” Ji-Young raised his hand ready to start earning items. He had an advantage with open challenges like this one.
“That’s a good one. We definitely need knives” Yongguk commented.
“Alright, Ji-Young will go first.” The Producer handed him the microphone.
Walking out the kitchen knife in hand
Dad walks out and reprimand.
Ji-Young don’t ever hold that in your hand,
You might drop it, cut off your foot and never stand.
Bobby fell back laughing after hearing his son’s verse. Ji-Young laughed as well before receiving the card with the word ‘Knife’ on it.
“I actually told him that once” Bobby continued laughing.
Everyone clapped for Ji-Young glad that he had earned them all such an important tool.
“He’s quick thinking but I’m quick speaking” Young-Min smirked.
“I want to go next.” Young-Min was handed the microphone.
Pots and pans, not one item but two instead, really need to be fed.
No idea what mother wrote, when putting it to a vote, my mind took note
These two things were necessary when making anything hot to carry
The producer laughed after being tricked into giving two for the price of one but she appreciated Yong-Min thinking outside the box and gave it to him.
The dad’s clapped glad that they had been able to acquire two items at once.
“So fast” Mona gasped as she was left in awe at how quickly he had finished.
After earning all the utensils they thought necessary they began going for foods. This was when King decided to give it a try. He had an idea of what his mother might have written down.
My father is unwed, without my mom his meals would be between two slices of white bread.
My mother cooks very well, my father thinks its bomb as hell.
But today we’ll have sandwiches instead
And wash them down with arrowhead.
Mino’s jaw dropped as he heard his son.
The others were all laughing at how often Mino’s son brought up the fact that he wasn’t married.
“Mino has it hard with that one” Yongguk chuckled.
Bobby was tearing up from the laughter King had caused. “King always burns him.”
“King” Namjoon called over the boy with his palm raised. He gave him a high-five for making everyone laugh with his verse.
After time to gather ingredients was up they all moved to another part of the set where four cooking stations were prepared. As soon as they got there a banner was hanging from each station that stated what would be made.
The father’s all laughed as they saw one station did say sandwich on top of it.
Mino shook his head, “that’s how much confidence my girl has in my cooking abilities.”
“You were right,” Mino told King as they approached the station.
“Now you will have one hour to prepare your dish. Time starts now.” The producer started the clock.
Bobby took to his station and made sure to keep the dangerous items away from his son. “Ji-Young you stay on the other side.”
Ji-Yong Nodded as he followed directions.
“Why is your father so afraid of you going in the kitchen?”
“Grandma said he one time cut himself when he was helping her and almost bled to death. He was so shocked that in one moment of carelessness he could have died. He thinks it is easily prevented so it’s best to only go in the kitchen once we are older.”
“It’s a good thing your mom chose lettuce wraps. I don’t have to do much.” Bobby began assembling his ingredients.
On the other side
“Yong-Jin wash the rice well and Yong-Min I need you to start peeling the cucumber.” Yongguk began giving his boys instructions.
Usually, at home his wife would do the same with all three of them. She was outnumbered with three boys in the house and couldn’t cook fast enough for all three. That is why she decided to teach them by letting them help with small things.
Gimbap was something they had done before so they were familiar with the process but Yongguk was worried about one thing. “I’m nervous. I have to roll the gimbap myself.” He told the camera as he began cutting up pickled radish next to Yong-Min.
Yong-Min looked at him with a grimace. “I don’t want that in it.”
“Are you a picky eater?”
Yong-Min nodded unashamed. “I don’t like a lot of things so my mom makes different food for me.”
Next Yong-Jin came into interview and was asked the same question. “Are you a picky eater?”
“Yes, I don’t like the smells of some foods so I can’t eat it.” He scrunched up his nose. “I don’t like the pickled radish either.”
Everyone was busy making their food in a hurry, not sure how much time will be needed.
The vibe was completely different at Namjoon’s station. He was calm and organized as he cut up the different vegetables that would go in his bibimbap. His rice was already cooking and he knew he had plenty of time.
Mona sat at the counter watching him as she tried opening a bottle of water. She twisted with all her strength but it wouldn’t open. “Daddy, can you do it?” She held the water out to him.
Namjoon immediately cleaned his hands and opened the water for her.
This was nothing to him. He constantly did things for his daughter but to the others it seemed so different.
“I guess that’s the difference between having a son and daughter. You tend to be harsh with boys and let them figure stuff out on their own.” Yongguk only had two sons after all.
The producers were curious to know how Bobby acted with his own daughter. “Do you treat your daughter the way Namjoon treats Mona?”
Bobby shook his head. “My parenting is the same with both of my kids. I’m still very childish at my age so I’m very lenient and tend to be scolded by my wife. It’s like she has three kids.”
“Mona do you want some?” King had peeled an orange and before eating some himself he offered Mona the first piece.
“Yes” Mona giggled with happiness, oranges were her favorite fruit. She took the fruit and thanked him.
“Does King always give you food?”
“Yes,” Mona smiled. “At school he peels oranges for me.”
The producer smiled with awe at how sweet King was. He showed a very serious and in-your-face attitude. His eyebrow seemed to be permanently raised just like his head because of his King-complex but he had a soft spot for Mona.
Mona went around to the other stations stopping at Yongguk’s. She climbed the stool at his counter to see what he was doing. “It looks pretty” Mona commented on Yongguks well cut pieces of gimbap.
Yongguk’s gummy smile showed he was glad his food had gotten a comment. “Do you want to try it?”
Mona nodded before opening her mouth.
Yongguk gave her a small piece and watched as she finished it with a smile. “Very good.”
“Now I see why he does everything for her.” Yongguk’s gummy smile seemed to grow. Mona seemed to do aegyo without even trying. “I kind of want a daughter now” he joked making the staff laugh.
She went to Bobby’s station and sat beside Ji-Young. “What are you making,” she asked.
“Lettuce wraps” Ji-Young responded to her. As he saw her he noticed a grain of rice stuck in the corner of her mouth. “You have rice here” he cleared it for her just like he would for his younger sister.
“Thanks Oppa” she smiled at him before going to Mino and King’s station.
“Your daughter is very friendly to everyone.”
Namjoon laughed, “too friendly.”
“She seems to have a charm that attracts people to her.”
Namjoon nodded knowing it was true. “Everyone says that but I would like to remind you that she gets suspended for making classmates cry.”
As she sat with King eating oranges Mino proposed an idea. “Mona you know orange is a word that is hard to rhyme. Do you think you can use it in a rap?”
“It’s not hard, I have one” she took her backpack off and got her notebook to read the small notes she had made.
Orange, hard to rhyme, sweet to taste, I eat them everyday
Need a rhyme for orange? Maybe a good hook?
Come to me, for this and more, I have it in storage in my notebook.
:"Yeah!” Mino exclaimed as he high-fived the young girl before she went back to her father.
“She breaks it down so well” Bobby commented.
“Her acapella is no joke.” Yongguk couldn’t believe her skill level. “My Yong-Min asked why she rapped like that. Then I realized he doesn’t know what acapella is.”
After they finished making the food they set it on one huge table and presented their dish. They made enough to share with each other and ate it while conversing.
At the end of the show the producer asked Yong-Jin to give his final thoughts in an interview. He was the oldest out of all of them and had a better understanding of it all.
“What do you think so far about the other kids?”
He looked around the room then straight to the camera. “I always thought Yong-Min and I were the only talented kids but here we are all talented. King and Mona are the youngest but they do so well. Ji-Young is already a model but he can be a rapper too. When we were saying goodbye at the end of the day Mona was crying. She said she had fun and wanted to see everyone again.” He laughed, “I didn’t cry but I thought the same. It’s fun to be with people who like the same things as you.”
“Do you want to do the outro?”
Yong-Jin nodded before sitting up straight.
Hello, this is Yong-Jin, Nos1 works too

Un gangster aimerait devenir acteur, et un acteur désire être plus crédible dans les rôles de gangster. Partant de ce constat, leurs chemins et leurs vies vont se croiser et s’entremêler.
Origine du film : Corée du Sud Réalisateur : Jang Hoon Scénaristes : Kim Ki-duk Acteurs : So Ji-sub, Kang Ji-hwan, Hong Soo-hyun, Ko Chang-seok, Song Yong-tae, Jang Hee-jin Musique : Roh Hyoung-woo Genre : Action, Crime, Drame, Thriller Durée : 113 minutes Date de sortie : 11 septembre 2008 (Corée) Année de production : 2008 Sociétés de production : Kim Ki-duk Film Distribué par : Studio 2.0, Sponge ENT Titre original : Yeonghwaneun yeonghwada / 영화는 영화다 Notre note : ★★★☆☆
