sorry i’m still stuck on cheater eddie, just wondering how you think things would play out after that? like you said, I can’t see steve forgiving eddie after that but personally would love to see eddie realize how much he messed up
(Based on this post)
Oh, I think Eddie would know immediately that he screwed up. He did call the next day with some semblance of a plan to talk to Steve, to try and explain himself, apologize as best as he could.
Unfortunately the internet works just a bit faster than Eddie realized. It's a minor story on the entertainment channels, Corroded Coffin only recently became public figures again for the first time in ten years, but it's still looping every hour on the hour.
The band is upset, obviously; Gareth won't talk to him and Jeff follows Eddie with the stink eye wherever he goes. Grant lectures him for an hour before shaking his head and leaving the room, but he hasn't brought it up since.
Robin calls Eddie almost immediately and tears him a new one, he has to hold the phone away from his ear for most of it. It's harsh, she spews her vitriol and calls him a coward, that he couldn't have loved Steve as much as he claimed to if he went and stuck his dick in someone else.
He wants to argue the latter, but she hangs up on him before he can get the chance.
The home phone in Eddie and Steve's Chicago apartment rings and rings the first three times he calls before finally going directly to voicemail on the fourth.
The worst is Wayne though.
It's a day after Robin's call, he asks about the papers -there's a laugh in his voice as he does. Eddie had been no stranger to tabloid claims before, in fact Eddie kept the National Enquierer Bat Boy clipping and framed it, but there are quite a few articles this time.
All about the same photo.
So Wayne calls, with that gentle, confident, laugh in his voice because they've really done it this time.
"You see The Star Ed? Absolutely ridiculous. Have you kids talked to your agent about all these stories yet?"
"Wayne--"
"I mean this is just silly, I bet your boy found it hilarious!" The words crackle with static as Wayne laughs into the receiver, "is he there? It's spring break for him now right?"
Eddie clutches the phone in sweaty shaking fingers, his heart climbs up his throat as he tries to find his voice.
"Wayne, I," he swallows harshly and scrubs a ringed hand over his face, "I messed up".
There's a pause on the other end of the line, as though the call cut out, but Eddie can still hear his uncle breathing.
"Eddie, you didn't..." Wayne says softly, almost in a whisper, "tell me you didn't..."
"I don't know what to do," Eddie blurts out, his breathing picks up, "he won't talk to me, my band won't talk to me, I fucked up, I just don't know how to fix this".
Wayne sighs, Eddie can hear him pace around the kitchen, "son," he murmurs softly into the receiver, "just take a deep breath, and listen for a second".
Eddie nods, not caring that his uncle can't see him through the phone, he feels like he's sixteen again and waiting for the other shoe to drop when Wayne collects him from the police station for the very first time.
"I'm going to say this once, because I know I raised you better than this and you're probably feeling pretty lousy already," Wayne says slowly before clearing his throat, "if fixing this is just to make you feel better, then it ain't really fixing anything".
"Steve probably doesn't want to hear a thing you have to say right now and you have to give that to him--"
"Wayne--"
"I mean it Eddie, you and Steve went through so much together that I didn't think there was anything that could ruin it, and there you go proving me wrong".
The words are a punch to the gut that immediately bring tears to Eddies eyes. He holds his breath and bites his lip to stop the sob that threatens to wrench itself from his chest.
"I hope you had the decency to come clean," Wayne continues tiredly, he grunts as he sits down, most likely at their old mismatched kitchen table.
"I called him but..."
Wayne hums in understanding before blowing out the words, "well-shit-son," in a single breath.
They talk for a bit longer before Eddie asks Wayne to check on Steve for him, to make sure he's okay.
"If I know my son in-law he's the farthest thing from okay right now Ed, but I'll do my best," Wayne grumbles and Eddie winces, because he's right.
He hangs up with a soft goodbye, closes his eyes and crawls into the hotel room bed.
The thread count is high in the sheets, the fabric soft and rich between his fingers, but it's nothing compared to the well-worn cotton sheets at home. Sleepwarmed and bathed in gold morning light, he can almost feel Steve in his arms.
Eddie opens his eyes.
But he's alone and the bed is cold.
Eddie lays there, allowing himself to finally cry for the first time in days, staring at the empty spot beside him.

Pt. 2 of Vanessa’s POV to @simmetrycal’s mystery girl series <3
All credits to Sim for their ocs (ex. Raymond, Ash, Chantelle, and Jia)
『••✎••』
It was yet another long day for Vanessa. Eli was out in school, and she was glued to her seat within the tattoo shop. Just by midday she had already done 3 clients. They were small, simplistic tattoos— but it still takes a toll when you’re constantly holding a needle in your hand.
But finally, it was now time for Vanessa to head onto break before her next appointment.
Just before she can go and grab her purse- a silhouette at the doorway caught her attention.
Ethan.
He leaned against the small entree way, smiling. “Put your wallet down, girl. Cmon, I’ll go buy us lunch.”
~
“What?! How come you didn’t tell me about this guy earlier? Nessi, I’m your brother..” He pouted, taking a saddened bite from his sandwich.
She rolled her eyes, then sighed as she picked at her food. It’s been little over a week since she’s seen that blond haired man. Ever since that day, Vanessa has been unable to get his face out of her head. She’s been cursed with a crush. And she hated it- it made her feel like a pathetic highschooler again.
“Because- I know how you can be. But this one’s different, he seemed really sweet. And he didn’t have a problem with Eli.”
“Right. But- he could be a total jackass just trying to get some game. I mean come on! An eye brow piercing? Seriously? Fuckboy.”
“Collin has one?”
“My point entirely. Now that guys a freak in bed.”
“Ugh,” she groaned. Not irritated by Ethan’s words but- by the fact that she couldn’t stop thinking about the stranger she had met at the dog park.
Ethan chowed down on his food, taking out his phone to do some detective work. All he had was a description given to him by Vanessa- but no matter how little the information, he always finds a way.
“Look, Nessi. I’m not saying *Don’t* shoot your shot. But I don’t trust anyone who’s seemingly this perfect pretty doll. He’s definitely hiding something.”
“See! This is exactly why I didn’t want to tell you. You’re too dramatic,”
“I was right before, wasn’t I?”
A dead silence pans over them, like a pair of scissors slicing the red wire. Ethan was right. The last time she had gotten her hopes up, she was left alone with a kid to raise.
“I’m sorry- sorry.” Maybe a little too far- clearing his throat, “all I’m saying is.. be careful. And if you do mysteriously run into each other again- I will tear out his jugular and make him eat it if he so dares to make a wrong move.” He smiled- purely innocent.
Damnit. She couldn’t help but smile back, nodding. “I doubt I’ll see him again.. I even stay a few extra hours longer than usual at the park now but- I never spot him.”
She scooted her plate across the table, letting him finish it off.
“Must be nice to have a secret admire like that, maybe he gets scared every-time he sees ya and hides in his car” he laughed, “he sounds like a nerd.”
While chatting, he was simultaneously scouring all over the internet. He was having a difficult time.. after all, there are millions of blond men out there. Until he remembered an important detail from her story- into the search he typed,
Jia Taylor.
Bingo.
Instantly a profile popped up. She seemed like a simple woman, the account was old and unused. At first glance, it could be taken as nothing but the average cringey Instagram selfies and environmental photos. Not even in her description did she mention anything about her life. Just her occupation and a sad quote from a TV show.
That is until, he began to scroll. His eyes lit up- spotting an outdated photo from a couple of years ago. It was her, and a blond man. That same man had a singular eyebrow piercing, and even the same squared ear jewelry described by Vanessa.
Holy shit. He thought, quickly clicking on the post- the caption was simple,
‘Dinner with Raymond.’
Okay, nothing to urgently worry about yet.. At least now he has a first name. Taking a better look at the photo- he definitely saw Raymond’s appeal. personally, not his taste but hey, to each their own. Taking the name to google, he searched it up and scavenged through any link he could find. Eventually, he came up on a username-
‘Mrstealyourgirl’
How.. quirky.
Inspecting deeper, the profile belonged to a dark haired man with bright blue eyes. By the name of Ash.
“Damn,” he muttered, not out of interest or appeal.. he genuinely thought the guy was irritable just by looking at his face.
“And I- hm? Ethan, are you even listening??”
He looked up- this whole time Vanessa had been rambling on and he didn’t hear a word. “Uhhh… yesss?” He grinned.
“Right. So as I was saying—“
Aaannnd back to stalking. Scrolling the post, the guy seemed to be fairly popular. The photos he shared basically documented his life. Including the most important people in it- there was a few that included Raymond. More recent too.
There were a few embarrassing photos of Ash and Raymond together, that included them ‘hanging out’ in ways Ethan never considered non romantic.
Starting off normal, out eating lunch together.
The two doing clay face mask.
wearing matching outfits.
Holding hands at work?
And why the hell were so many captions from Ash calling this dude ‘slime’??
Either they are really great friends.. or really great friends.
Now, Ethan knew he could just be reaching, and end up extremely incorrect. But for Vanessa’s sake, he had to consider each and every possibility.
“His names Raymond.” He interrupted.
Vanessa stopped her yapping- confused by what he was talking about. “Who-?”
He turned his phone screen around, showing off the account to her. Taking the phone- she did her own little inspection. “Yeah- that’s him.. how’d you-“
He shrugged, collecting their trash. “I got my ways. He doesn’t have his own account, though. Guess he’s not an internet person”
Deep down, he wanted to mention that Jia person he found. But he decided not to. And he didn’t understand why. Maybe he just wanted to do some more digging first- to get an entire background check on the guy before unleashing Pandora’s box to Vanessa. After all, she was his best friend. The last thing he wanted was for her to be hurt.
And the last thing he needed was an issue.
Her eyes gazed over the post, focusing on those with Raymond in it. He was just as beautiful in photos as he was in person. But she gloomed over not being able to find his account. If she could- she would’ve sent a message by now. Ethan’s voice bringing her back to reality,
“Cmon, I need a cigarette”
~
Returning back to the shop, Ethan stopped at the entrance. Leaning against the wall with a lit cigarette in between his fingers.
Before entering the shop without him, she stopped to give him a glance. “I have one more client for the day.. do you have a soda? I need some sugar to wake me up.”
he nodded, “in the fridge in the back. There’s energy drinks in there too”
“Ew- those are discussing. I’ll do with a Pepsi. See ya,” and just like that, she was off.
Ethan raised the cigar up to his lips, releasing a stream of smoke. Among the mist- a couple caught his eye. Two women were walking their way up to the shops doors, hand in hand.
Upon looking over- He noticed a familiarity to one of the woman’s faces. He didn’t know her personally, no. But he recognized those dark braids on Ash’s Instagram post. This girl was a friend of his. And it sparked his curiosity-
As they approached, he gave them a friendly smile just before they entered bleeding ink.
What a strange coincidence, he thought.
*~ The party ~*
It took some convincing, but with enough persuasion from Collin and Davis.. she got Collin to babysit Eli for the night.
It wasn’t something she was used to, getting dressed up and going to a party was only something she did before she got pregnant. It’s not like she missed it very much. Afterall, she did a lot of stupid decisions during those times.
She had to dig deep into her closet, eventually finding a slim black dress and matching heels. Being that it was old- it was a bit of a tight fit around her figure. Needless to say, she had to do a few jump and bend test to make sure nothing would rip or flash out on her-
After applying some light makeup, she was ready to leave the apartment.
Questioning if this was worth it.
Upon reaching the address, she was surprised to see so many cars parked around. It seemed like it was quite a popular place- though how could it not be? The house was gorgeous. Giant windows, and a grand entrance fit for royalty to walk on.. there was no way she would fit into this scene- and for a while , she waited in her car just staring. hesitant to even step foot out of her vehicle- who would really notice if she were to chicken out and turn her car around….
But no.
This was her chance to relax, and enjoy herself for once…
And maybe give her the opportunity to get Raymond out of her head.
As she stepped through the main doors, she started to feel the loud bumping of the speakers in her own chest. They raced with her heart, mostly out of nerves. The place was comfortably crowded- but it felt so claustrophobic as she took a long look around. Not a single face she could recognize. It was just a room full of strangers and bad habits to her-
Until she heard a familiar voice shout from the crowd. Despite the room being so loud and overwhelmed with different sounds- she heard it clear as day.
“Hey!-“
Raymond.
He was there, in the middle of it all. And honestly it made her want to laugh, he looked more out of place than she did. Raising her hand up to her face to cover her giggles- but needless to say, her stress washed away to find that she did in fact know somebody here.
“Hi!”
They began to walk forwards one another, meeting in the middle. “I had no idea you’d be here?” She questioned him, because why would someone like Raymond out of all people be in a party like this? Was he secretly an animal?
Though, as she looked up to him and waited for an answer- she noticed him blanking again. The same gawking stare he had gave her when they first met. It seems like anytime she speaks during his zoning out, her words just fly through one ear and out the other…
It made her nervous. If she would have known he’d be here, she would have dressed nicer.. or maybe put some more effort into her hair or makeup. Though with his staring, she felt like she was being watched by a lion ready to pounce at her. Making a nervous smile- “You okay?”
He stood there, starstruck and glued to the floor. But luckily for them, an unexpected ice breaker broke out-
There was a loud thump from behind them, and of course it was Ash’s doing. He had thought of the brilliant idea to climb the flimsy table they had set up beer pong with. It collapsed underneath him, causing him to flip back and crack the table in two straight out of a cartoon. The half filled cups flew and landed on a few standby victims.
Vanessa recognized his face. It was the same guy displayed in the photos with Raymond- must be the reason why Ray was here in the first place.
Being a panicked mother, her natural instincts came in as she rushed over to help. “Jesus- are you okay??” She loomed over Ash- who was completely knocked out on the ground and broken table pieces. A few others were quick to come surround him- Raymond too.
“Shit- let’s get him on the couch..”
A woman approached, the same woman Vanessa had tattooed recently- she’s the entire reason why she’s here in the first place..
“Be careful- he might’ve hit his head.”
Carefully, Raymond was able to relocate Ash from the ground to the nearby couch. They all waited to see if he would come to or possibly need to be rushed to the hospital- but eventually, his eyes began to open.
His gaze crossed over Raymond and Chantelle. Then stopped on Vanessa- causing her to lean forward a bit, still keeping a good distance from Ash’s face. “Are you okay?”
He attempted to seat himself up, to which she stopped him- pressing her hand lightly against his open chest. “Just lay here for a moment. You had a pretty big fall” she smiled, in attempt to comfort the guy.
Though that smile might have changed once Ash grabbed her hand- She didn’t know if it was on purpose, but the hold had caused her hand to ‘slip’ in the direction further down his shirt. He gave her this dazed look that just spilled of hopeless puppy.
Oh god.
Ash, was no where near her interest. To her, she saw him as some scruffy little kid.
To make that clear, she bashfully pulled her hand away. “My son tends to trip a lot, he’s normally better after settling down for a bit.”
“Thank you, Miss pink hair..” he mutters, dramatically throwing his arm over his head as if he were dying to an arrow in the chest.
Seeing his drama, Chantelle quickly left the scene.
“Oh- it’s Vanessa.” She corrected. That seemed to trigger interest- noticing Ash give Raymond a smug look. Man was this guy weird-
Besides her, Raymond cleared his throat. “This is my boss, Asher.”
Boss??!
This thing is Raymond’s boss?
“Nice to meet you.” She avoids taking his hand again, to not further cause injury of course… but to her surprise, Raymond introduces himself as well. Suppose it’s best that he doesn’t know she already is aware of his name- shaking his hand.
His grip is firm, yet soft. Neither of them wanted to let go of one another. Instead of breaking it he ask, “How about we take this somewhere more private?”
And of course, she happily agrees.
From the couch, Ash also agrees. “Oh that’s a great idea!” He reaches his arms out, fully expecting Raymond to lift him up so all three of them can disappear to chat. Though, he is ignored. Both Vanessa and Raymond zip right past him.
“You’re just going to leave me here??”
She is led outdoors, to this beautiful and large pool area. Whoever owns this house must be quite the amazing individual.
Their hands finally disconnect, and for a brief moment there’s a bit of regret from the both of them.
“So.. that’s your boss?” He laughed. “Is he always so…”
“Unfortunately, yes, he is.” He chuckled back. He seemed unfazed by it, like it was a common occurrence.
“Is he younger than you? He seems fresh out of college.” It was still hard to believe. There was no way Raymond was working for someone like Ash.
“He might as well be. This is the first party of his that I’ve been to after years of him asking.”
“Woah, okay Mr. Popular” she teased. She thought so. Raymond didn’t seem like this was his crowd.
He laughed, walking her towards the edge of the empty pool. Maybe to sneak more glances at her through the water reflection. Just to avoid him staring directly too much. “How do you like it so far? The party I mean.”
To be fair, she has hardly had much of an experience yet. But.. “I wasn’t. Until now,” in an attempt to hide her smile, she also turned her attention to the water. Though Raymond fully caught it.
“You know, I was actually really hoping I’d see you again after-“
Their moment was cut short as Vanessa felt a harsh push- a group of young men had ran out from the building, tossing an object so far that the one catching wasn’t paying much attention. Bumping right into Vanessa.
She made a light gasp as she slipped forward. Feeling Raymond’s hand wrap around her waist.
They both plummeted into the pool.
She had resurfaced before Raymond, taking a moment to process what just happened. But instinctively, she began to laugh and push aside her now soaked hair that covered her face. After getting her vision back, she swam to the edge and pulled herself up. Noticing Raymond follow right after her.
Before she could continue to make a joke out of it, she remembered that her phone was tucked away in her pocket- panicked as she pulled it out.
Nonono.
This was her only way of contact in case anything happened with Eli- she attempted to turn it on, but of course not even a single light flickered. “You’ve got to be kidding me..” she sat at the pull edge, still soaked and now sulking over her broken phone.
She notices Raymond’s shadow stand above her- extending his hand out for her to take. She turned her head up, the first thing her eyes went to was his belt buckle. Then his face.
And everything blanked.
Suddenly her phone wasn’t much of a concern anymore- reaching up and taking Raymond’s hand as he helped her back onto her feet.
Seemed like Raymond knew his way around- he walked her over to pool house not far. It was warm and cozy, providing them both with some life saving towels. She thanks him as he hands her one, using it to dry her hair.
All seems fine, until she notices Raymond start to unbutton his top and remove his shirt- wringing out the extra water.
She doesn’t notice her face redden, nor does she realize how hard she was staring. He’s toned, and perfectly built. It was impossible for a man to look this good.
He catches her stare, laughing. “Oh, sorry- I didn’t mean to strip like that.” A hint of embarrassment in his tone
“Oh no- it’s fine.. I would do the same but, I’m only wearing the dress,”
She doesn’t know why she felt the need to say that, but it clearly irked him on.
“i feel that,” he says, then backtracks. “i mean i- i don’t feel that- not like i know what that’s like but i just mean— i would agree that that’s, um, understandable”
Her heart melted. For a guy with such a stern demeanor, was quite the softie.
She heard sudden ringing coming from him- causing him to stumble for his phone. While he was busy with that, she walked a few steps to the neatly set up bed. She couldn’t help but notice how they had a moment of solitude now- no interruptions like that the park..
She laid out the towel in her hands against the edge of the bed. Speaking as she did so, “You know, it’s a bit quieter here..”
her words had caught Raymond’s attention. His eyes drifting from the contact on his phone to her.
She stretched her body out, taking a seat on the edge of the bed and looked up to him. With her hair and dress still damp, she knew it was partially see through. and her mascara was ever so slightly ruined by the water.
She still had a few tricks up her sleeve after all these years.
And it was working.
She watched as Raymond’s temperature in his face rose up, showing his eagerness as she was now at the same height of his hips.
Though she noticed him freeze up, clearly panicked and nervous. Maybe he wasn’t so interested in jumping to sleep with her.. her chest sunk as she as just about to suggest returning to the party. But to her surprise-
He joined her. Forcing her to lean back further as he hovered over her body- despite having fell in the pool, she can feel the body heat radiating off of him. And with their faces only inches apart, she could now smell the rich scent of whisky on him.
She thought in her head for a moment, about how the smell could just be from a spill at the party.. but she was curious, if it was really just his decision to have a few drinks. To find out for herself, she opted to get a taste of it.
Meeting their lips together into a surprisingly sweet kiss.
She let her eyes fall closed, noticing a few hiccups in Raymond’s actions. She wanted to giggle- starting them off slowly with the slow kiss, and letting him open up to it. The soft touch alone was enough to get him breathless- hearing him take a short break by groaning his sexual frustration out.
As if it couldn’t be anymore obvious on the poor guy.
Her arms find their way around Raymond’s neck, and she deepened the kiss by guiding her tongue in.
At the same time, he could feel one of his hands get tangled in her hair. And the other inching its way underneath the bottom of her dress. She hummed through his lips- begging for him to use his hand to explore every inch of her body.
But he didn’t.
He broke away from the kiss, and Vanessa was surprised to see this saddened look on his face. It reminded her of a lonely kitten behind bars.
“I’m sorry,” He whispers.
“What for?”
“I- I don’t know.. I don’t want to take advantage of you..” to make it even worse, he completely backs away- leaving her to pick up his shirt and throw it back on.
It was completely unexpected, and she couldn’t process it fast enough for his words to break her heart. “You aren’t,”
“I’d rather be with you completely sober.” He admits, his back turned to her. She’s unsure if it’s his alcoholic mind talking, or if she genuinely isn’t as desirable as she made herself out to be.
Truthfully though, she can tell he was completely serious about it. And the more she thought about the situation, the more she realized it was probably for the best.
Especially with them being at some strangers home, unknowingly ruining their property for a one night stand.
She gives him a nod, meeting his understanding.
She watches as he turns back around, now having fixed all the buttons on his shirt. Asking a shocking question,
“are you hungry?”
~
She would have never imagined she’d end up in the passenger seat of his car.
And his very own home.
The two had an amazing time together. Raymond offered to cook, which was a first for her. Normally she was the one making meals for her and Eli. So it was nice, to finally get a break.
And gods, was Raymond a chef in the kitchen. With each bite, her taste buds melted at the flavor. She was eternally grateful, and made sure he knew that.
After dinner, and some quick laughs between one another, Vanessa thought it would be best to return home. Of course, Raymond offered to take her. But just before they could make it to the door..
Crack.
A loud cackle and drum of thunder followed. It sounded quite furious- starting heavy rainfall outdoors.
“Maybe we shouldn’t risk it,”
She nods, “probably for the best..”
“You might even.. have to spend the night.” He teases the offer confidently.
Vanessa raised a brow, seductively leaning herself closer against his body. “Is that so?”
“It’s so.”
“And where would I sleep? Do you have a guest room?”
“I’ll let you find it.”
And like giddy teenagers, the two rush upstairs. She couldn’t help but notice how beautiful his home is laid out. From the coloring of the floors and walls, to the simple decor on the shelves. And of course, the single bedroom.
“You liar. This was all just a wild goose chase.” She stood at the doorway, crossing her hands with a smile.
“Was it?” He slips past her, opening one of the drawers to take out a clean shirt and pants. He fiddles with his watch for a moment, removing it.
“Were you trying to get me to lay in bed with you? You should have just asked,”
She’s taken back by him approaching, handing out the top to her. “Sleep in my bed.” It was hardly a question, more so a begging demand from him.
How could she say no.
She accepts the shirt from him, huffing. “Look away,” he turns obediently, and she begins to strip.
She replaces her clothing with his shirt, which might as well just been another dress. Luckily it was long enough to cover the fact that she didn’t prepare shorts underneath her previous gown.
“You can look now.” And he turns, taking the dress from her hands that she had folded up.
“*Look away,*” he mocks, and she is obliged to turn around. For the most part she’s turned away, but she couldn’t help but to slightly tilt her head, grabbing a peek-
And she’s startled to find Raymond’s eyes meet with hers. “I thought I told you to look away?” He was finished dressing anyways, pulling his sweatpants comfortably around his hips.
She rolled her eyes, fully turning to face him now. He's topless, and it’s distracting.
“You don’t sleep with a shirt?”
“Not usually.” He admits, watching as Vanessa climbed into his very own bed.
The cushion was soft, and the blankets even more so. It caused her to melt as she sprawled her back against the linen. His bed was larger than hers, a king. She’d never had so much space before…
Naturally, Raymond was enjoying her watching her stretch out on his bedding.
“How do you stay warm?”
“Well, there are some ways.” She begins to flick off the lights, keeping a far lamp warmly lit. “Like blankets and..”
“Human contact,”
He joins her in bed, laying pressed up against her side. His hand instinctively placing himself along her outer thigh. Using it to tug her closer than they already were.
“Why don’t you demonstrate?” She purrs out, inching her face closer to his until they meet again in another kiss.
It doesn’t last long however, as Raymond breaks away to instead wrap his arms around her waist. Hugging her against his chest. She can feel his heartbeat at this point- and other things..
she can tell he’s almost- fearful. Scared to do the wrong thing and move this any further. Even if they weren’t meant to spend a night of passion together, she was just as happy to have someone protecting her throughout the night for once.
It was… nice. Raymond provided a different type of warmth for her.
One so gentle and caring that she could easily see herself staying her. Not just for one night, either.
She feels his hand move aside her hair, exposing her neck for him to leave a stubble trail of kisses against her skin.
It felt unreal, as if she was already dreaming. But to her surprise, Raymond’s kisses, and the loud roaring of thunder and raindrops hitting his window only further helped her drift off to sleep.

Chapter One — Begin Again
a/n: hiii chickens! so this is the start of a chaptered fic i've written over the past six months and she's finally ready! this story was very fun and painful to write because it's based off of the whirlwind that has been my life over the past year, so i hope you love it <3
content/warnings: first base shit, oversharing and a night full of wholesome cuteness. you're welcome
"Do you remember the night we met?"
A sweet smile crept up onto her face, one she couldn’t hide, but tried to as she took another sip from the glass she was holding.
"I do."
"Ooh, haven't heard those words in a while."
"Shut up." she laughs.
"Oi, fuck you then." he bites, failing to hide the smirk on his face behind his own glass.
"Please?"
"Easy." he warns with one finger. "Don't make me come over there."
It was easy with them, the connection they had. They've always been that way.
"Best first date ever though, right?"
"Right." she giggles at the smirk on his face before taking another sip.
"No matter how much I forget short term," he narrows, rolling his eyes for a moment at the annoying reality. "I still remember that night like it was yesterday."
March 2nd, 2019
"I can’t believe I’m doing this."
Parker's gripping her steering wheel, white knuckles and all after she rushes through the motions; putting her seatbelt on, shifting into reverse, all the while genuinely shocked by her own actions, that she’s actually going through with this. “I can’t believe I’m doing this.”
She repeated the same sentence over and over as she sped off down the street and into the city. It was her first first date in five years. How people do this on a regular basis, she truly can't fathom how. Who just meets up with a stranger on the internet after texting for a few days?! Parker, apparently. She's starting to question her own morals, because where did they go?
She was always the quiet kid in school. Kept her head down, never spoke out of turn and always avoided unnecessary social situations. It's more of a curse that a blessing, really. Considering it takes a lot for her to speak out against anything came with everyone else typically leaving her alone for the most part. On the other hand, as she got older she realized that it sucked to feel lonely. No matter how introverted she was, everyone wants friends. Parker grew up in a small town where if you weren't an athlete or a mean girl, no one really paid attention to you—and when they did, they never had anything nice to say. High school sucks for most of us, and she was no exception.
In other words, if you told seventeen-year-old Parker that she'd be going on a date with a stranger she's never met, she would've never believed you.
She's grown up a lot since then, though, and she's proud of that. It took years, but healing doesn't come easy. And right now, Parker was in the middle of that moment that everyone talks about.
Where you finally feel like you're ready to date again. When you've finally broken the walls down, ready to put yourself out there and see what happens.
She had a good feeling about this guy—if not she would've canceled days ago. Parker doesn't go on random dates, and if there is so much as a sliver of doubt, whether it's something they said or she's just getting an off vibe, date canceled. No energy needs to be spent on unnecessary ventures, right?
But this one felt different. She couldn't explain it...she'd never met him but she could feel in her heart that he was a good person. Sure, they've only been talking for a few days, but something about him just felt good, and right. When he talked, you could just tell he was good.
They'd "met" online, the god-forsaken dating app that most people used for casual flings or random hookups; however, they were part of the fraction of decent human beings left in the world looking for something real, and long term. To no avail of course (until now) swiping left, left and left again was exhausting. Until she saw one that piqued her interest in a way that just felt different. Of course, there were a few she’d matched with, but they never made it past hey or what's up due to either her being distracted by this one, or the typical outcome of them just not responding. Leading her to become bored of the rest.
Harry, 20 Raleigh, NC Duke University
Not to be cliche, but to say this one was gorgeous was the understatement of the year. The goofy videos on his profile combined with the "I have a Damon Salvatore complex" in his bio definitely had her starting to crush on him.
What’s your major? was met with It’s complicated. That’s a conversation we should have on snap (:
He was really cute, no doubt about it. He had that all-American baby face, good hair—
and those eyes, my God.
It's important to mention, though, that if he was simply looks and there was no substance to him then there would've been a zero percent chance of her falling for him like she did. But there were little things that set him apart from others.
He sent her videos a lot instead of just snapping pictures, because honestly, talking is a way better form of communication. It was different and it was clear that he really tried to make each moment with her special. He'd cancelled their first date a couple of times (due to running behind because of one of his classes getting out late) and he'd told her he wanted to be able to give her all his time and attention. Which, was one of the sweetest things ever. It gave her a good feeling about tonight, for sure.
In the first video he sent to her that night, he started to explain how he was dropping out of college to go into the military, and eventually he would become an agent. She was impressed. Mostly because of the fact that he had real goals and dreams for himself, his future; something that a lot of people their age seemed to lack; drive and ambition. However, being a Virgo, she couldn't stop herself from picturing her future if they ended up together.
The CIA? What would that mean? Long distance, for sure. There was so much unknown, and Parker was slowly coming to terms with the solid fact that you can't control every part of your life. It didn't help either that her neurodivergent brain hated change, especially one so drastic. Regardless, she had to learn how to cope with this new chapter of her life. You could imagine that being newly single at 24 was not in her 5-year plan after college.
Parker's well aware of the fact that the current state of her life feels and looks just like a shitty Hallmark movie. The thought makes her want to gag, but that's what coping skills are for, right? So you're not cringing at every inconvenience at every moment? If there's one thing you need to know about Parker, it's that she hates small talk with a burning passion. If she could damn the mere idea of it back to hell, she would, because how could anyone enjoy that?! It's the number one reason she dreads first dates.
The further she got into her drive, the more nerves started to build up. Mistaking anxiety for butterflies was a feeling Parker knew all too well. Her past few boyfriends weren't exactly Romeo, so she was well versed in spotting a toxic person from a mile away.
However, with that came something more edgy. The sole idea of dating again petrified her. Getting close to someone again, being vulnerable and real just to get heartbroken again? The mere thought of it was enough to make her swear off dating ever again, but she told herself she wouldn't let it win, and she meant it.
Deep breaths. Whatever happens, happens.
It's easy to say, but as much of a control freak as Parker is over her life, so much easier said than done. She's had a 10-year plan outlined for her life since she was six years old, for Christ's sake. But that's another story for another time.
They'd decided to meet up in a parking lot, then they would both get into his car and go together. So when her peripheral picked up a car pulling up next to hers, she thought her heart wanted to beat out of her chest. It’s him, she knows it’s him, but she doesn’t react yet. Still staring down at her phone just in case it was some random person, even though the probability of that was less than likely. But if it was, how awkward would that be?!
Snapchat from Harry
She has to stop the smile creeping on her face. Now it has to be him. It was, because when she opened the snap and it was a picture of her in her car looking down at her phone, she's got a light smile on her face as she gets out of the car and walks around to the passenger's side. Moments like this happen so fast, you can't really plan for them, can you??
"That would’ve been really awkward if that wasn’t you."
They shared a laugh as she got into the car.
"So…Starbucks or Dunkin?"
"Definitely Starbucks."
"Y'know what, I respect that."
The more they talked as he drove, the more Parker realized Harry had something that was hard to find these days; that old school charm. Opening doors and all that. As soon as they walked in, Harry leaned down to her ear.
"M'gonna take a slight detour," he mumbles, one hand slipping from her waist. "Gotta pee, I'll be right back."
She looks up at him. "Do you want me to order yours?"
"Oh, no, it's ok." he assures. "I mobile ordered, I don't order in person...I'll be right back."
She didn't really have time to respond, which was probably intentional on Harry's part. On another note, how and why has she never thought of doing that?!
"Hey—"
The voice made her reluctant to turn around, because she knew it wasn't Harry.
"Is that your boyfriend?"
He was taller than her, dark hair. Nothing to write home about, but it was obvious he was trying to be semi-intimidating. She gives him an annoyed smile.
"We're on a date."
"Oh, gotcha." He nods and goes to turn around but stops. "You know he's not allowed to go on dates, right?"
"What?"
She can see Harry in her peripheral walking back towards them, thank God.
"I'm back." he turns to the guy that was talking to her, but he's already sitting back in his seat across the cafe. "What was that about?"
"Something about you not being allowed to go on dates?" she answers before thanks the barista for their drinks as they’re walking back out to his car.
"Yeah," he starts, pulling his safety belt. "We go to college together. And we're not allowed to date anyone, or like be seen out with a girl, y'know. At our school, I mean."
She nods in realization when he cuts in.
"But tomorrow's my last day, so I don't care."
He shifts the car into reverse. She almost forgot about the fact that his leaving, so really, it doesn't matter if they were seen together but Harry did a good job of easing any anxiety she could have about the possibility of getting him in trouble.
"I'll take you to my favorite spot." he mentions. “It’s a really good view.”
The drive was only a few minutes, but it felt longer. In a good way. He really wanted his hand to hold hers, but he was nervous. Little too soon too, right?
"You look really beautiful." he breathes. "I mean, you look amazing."
She bashfully thanks him, looking down at her knees while he's keeping himself from putting his hand on one of them.
"Okay," he sighs, trying to distract himself. "What music do you wanna to listen to?"
Of course, she gave him the typical response that the genre didn't matter. "It doesn't matter, anything."
"Really? 'Cause I don't think you'd like the music I listen to." he jokes.
She shakes her head dismissively in response to his satiricy. "It's fine."
"It's fine?" he teases, leaning into her as he starts messing with the aux. "I mean, it's kinda metal."
"Perfect."
He shows her two bands, and she recognizes both almost immediately.
"I grew up listening to this."
"Really?!"
"Yeah," she continues. "My dad loves rock music, we'd always listen to it when we were travelling."
"Did you travel a lot growing up?"
"Like vacations and stuff." she nods. “We used to live in the OBX.”
"Ah, gotcha." he nods before referring back to the previous conversation. "Yeah, I just went to one of their concerts, actually."
It was obvious that Harry was a passionate person; passionate about things he loved, like music. He was showing her concert videos on his phone and was telling her about the ideas and concepts behind each of his favorite bands.
"I love that...that's what makes big artists as successful as they are." she adds. "When you have something that sets you apart from everyone else."
He can't help himself, looking at her in pure disbelief for a moment before turning back, laying his head on his headrest. "You are the girl of my dreams, Parker Finn."
She lets out a giggle, rolling her eyes at the not-so-subtle remark at her Tinder bio.
girl of your dreams x
"How was your drive here, by the way?"
Okay, maybe she could tolerate some small talk...from certain people.
She also begrudgingly knows that you have to have some miniscule amount of small talk to get to know each other, so she allows it.
"It was good." she smiles. "I love driving, so--"
"Me too." he smiles. "In my hometown...I love just driving and listening to music."
"I do too!"
They quickly discovered there was a natural flow between them, something that you couldn't force. It was just there.
"So do you come to Raleigh a lot?"
Parker shakes her head. "I haven't been back in a long time."
"Well," he muses. "Today's your lucky day, because you have the best tour guide."
He leans into her, pointing at different buildings and what they are. Where he goes to school, where he used to work, stadiums and others similar.
"That’s where I went to school…that’s where I used to work, and that—" he points over to the far right. "Is the best stadium in the world."
she nods. "Home of the Blue Devils."
"Exactly." he looks at her with a narrowed eye. "Y'know, I love a girl who knows sports."
"Well that is where I went to school." she mentions.
"Ah, okay. So you're not really into football."
Guess it's your lucky day."
He chuckles in disbelief. Not only is she breathtaking...he couldn't really explain it yet. He'd only just met her, but there was just something about her. Whether it was the way the moonlight glows on her face, or the way her cheeky smile gave him butterflies, he was hooked.
"So what made you want to join the military?"
He lets out a heavy sigh, running his fingers through his hair. "Well,"
She notices his apprehension. "You don’t have to tell me—"
"No, no, it’s okay." he reassures. "Basically…I’m just not happy with the direction I was going, if I stayed at school."
"I hear that."
"It’s just…I just feel like I can do so much more, y’know? For the world."
"That’s how I feel a lot." she adds. "I always think, like…if I can help just one person feel like they’re not alone, or help them get through a hard time, then I’ve done my job—but if you can help more, and make a career out of it, that’s amazing."
"Do you ever get sick of your job?"
"No." she lets a light laugh. "I love what I do. You just have to find something that you’re really passionate about."
"I love that." he hums. "I need that."
"It takes time." she adds. "At least it did for me, to get where I am now. Everyone has their thing. The thing they love. Not like a person or anything like that. It could be a hobby, something you're good at or just something you want to be good at."
"Are you doing that? You're a teacher, right? S'that what you wanna do for the rest of your life?"
"I love teaching." she admits. "But I have other passions, too."
"What are the other ones?"
She shrugs. "Guess you'll have to stick around and find out."
He catches himself staring at her in awe, but he couldn’t help himself. The high points of her face were glowing in the moonlight.
"Where did you come from?"
She turns her head, looking out at the skyline. She doesn't quite know what to say, and doesn't really have time. He places two fingers on the right side of her jaw, turning her head. She smiles out of knowing what he's doing, and her smile is contagious, leading him to quickly mirror her action.
He kisses her.
And in that moment, nothing else mattered, and everything made sense.

lorde anon here again. i know you like hard evidence, buttt i think it’s a fun little theory that turns on a “maybe” light. i’ll start with the music (on lorde’s part) that pings slightly if they were doing stuff in 2016.
melodrama:
•green light - “She thinks you love the beach, you're such a damn liar” possible kaylor reference. “All those rumors, they have big teeth. Hope they bite you” in general it’s a very vindictive song and from all we know of her and taylor’s friendship it’s been very antagonistic at times let alone if they actually had something going on.
•the louvre - who else is big enough that could sit with her in it, it’s not going to be jack lol. “ok i know you are not my type” that and some other lyrics in green light kinda points to lorde maybe never having had feelings for another girl before this so it’s all new to her.
solar power:
•california - “Now I've spent thousands on you darling. All the hotels and the jets. And I'd pay it all again. To have your golden (👀) body back in my bed. But I don't miss the poison arrows. Aimed directly at my head” again kinda of reflects that antagonistic tension they had + media heat from being in taylor’s inner circle/girl squad. “Goodbye to all the bottles, all the models” girl squad reference. “but it got hard to grow up with your cool hand around my neck” i know you don’t like blinds, but it lines up with the ones that say taylor was micromanaging lorde & that other one about her getting lorde to drop her long time boyfriend. and we know taylor can definitely be a mastermind, control freak, and even predatory lol.
•dominoes - poking fun at taylor still being a mess with mr perfectly fine a bit
all of these are all veryyy much a stretch, but again something fun to think about
this next one is also going to be a stretch since it’s just a stranger on the internet, but
https://www.reddit.com/r/GaylorSwift/comments/tydlxi/a_follow_up_to_my_post_yesterday_here_are_most_of/i3vjm4t/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=1&utm_term=1&context=3
“someone on another subreddit was heavily downvoted after he mentioned a friend of his was a bodyguard of TS and his friend told him she was basically with Lorde in 2016. there could be some truth to the blinds... after all, those people are strangers”
i think i found the original comment once, but that was a while ago, and i’m on mobile rn so it’s hard to really search for it. zoom into this pic and it looks like they’re holding hands with the way taylor’s arm is shown to be in between lorde’s dress pattern.
https://twitter.com/tswiftnz/status/784096866774372352?s=46&t=Ij1e1Ur3V7zHtI-iWpxMkQ
nothing concrete really, but then again 2016 wasss a messy year for taylor and not just with the media from all we know about calvin, joe, lily, etc.
i mean i wouldn't be utterly shocked but tily in 2016 has mountains more evidence and tea supporting it from real people i know that i trust more than random reddit comments. i'm not saying taylorde DIDN'T happen for sure how could i know. BUT i don't have a ton more to add. the lyric analysis you did is fun though i mean there's a bit there it's not completely nothing.

ᴄᴀɴ ᴡᴇ ᴍᴇᴇᴛ? - ᴇᴍ
Tumblr media
pairing| Eddie Munson x female reader
synopsis| The year is 1999 and you might, quite possibly, be absolutely head over heels with a stranger you met online. Little do you know, he's not as much a stranger as you first thought.
an| part two to 'can I call you', this has become a series and I'm incredibly thankful for all that read my silly little stories.
warnings| 2k, not much to warn about
Part 1 | part 3
Tumblr media
You sent him your number as soon as you got home from work, bounding up the stairs two at a time, locking your door and hurrying to your desktop as soon as you entered your room. Your parents aren’t home, off on some retreat that’s supposed to reinvigorate their marriage, whatever that means. Honestly you didn’t care, you’d spent the whole day watching the clock, waiting for your shift to be over so you could finally go home and talk to Eddie.
Eddie. You haven’t been able to get him off your mind since you both started talking, which was pretty shocking to you. Couldn’t quite believe how quickly your small communication turned into a full blown friendship, to an unrelenting crush. You didn’t know him, not really, weren’t even sure if he was who he said he was but it didn’t seem to matter. You liked him.
Your speakers whoosh as you log into AOL, clicking on his name and opening the chat log. Your heart is pattering against your sternum, body vibrating from nerves as you send him your number and a cute message.
PrettyiNProsed: Can’t wait to hear your voice, pretty boy.
You aren't the type to flirt with strangers over the internet and even after you became friends and your crush grew, you refrained from giving in to his attempts to flirt. It wasn’t easy, not in the slightest, not when it was so tempting to play along. You had a feeling he’d be easy to rile up, he tried to act all sauve, but he wasn’t as smooth as he pretended to be. You were sure of it and you were gonna prove it.
Your stomach drops when you realize it’s already been twenty minutes, sitting in your computer chair with your brand new phone laid in your lap, silently watching your screen. He's online, you can see that, but he hasn't said anything back and he hasn't called yet.
What if he doesn't call? Last night you had been so sure he would, he seemed excited, but now he was radio silent. Anxiety made you nauseous, picking at your cuticles and tapping your bare foot against the wooden leg of your desk. The rejection is already sour in your mouth.
You nearly fall out of your seat as the transparent pink phone in your lap comes to life.
Ring. Ring. Rin-
“Hello?” Your voice is soft, almost timid, as you listen to the slight ruffle over the line before a goofy chuckle crackles over into your ear.
“I knew you’d have a pretty voice.” He says, his own voice rich as honey, melodious, with a little huskiness that sends goosebumps rippling across your skin.
“Yours isn’t so bad either, Eddie.” It comes out a giggle, soft and airy, the smile on your face nearly painful from how wide it is. “I was worried you got cold feet.”
You can hear the sound of a lighter sparking and the way Eddie’s exhale shakes in his throat.
“You want the truth?” He asks. You roll your eyes, standing from your chair and walking over to your bed.
“No, Eddie. I want you to lie to me.” You say, flopping back on your bed as you twirl the cord around a finger. If only you could see the way Eddie’s whole body shivers at the sultry sound of your voice.
“Well if that's the case…” He trails off and you roll onto your stomach, bare feet kicking in the air.
“Eddie.” You warn with a roll of your eyes.
“Okay, okay. I, uh, I needed a couple minutes.” He says.
“A couple minutes to..” You egg him on, biting your lip at the way his little chuckle makes your body tingle.
“It’s not everyday I get to talk to a pretty girl on the phone, ya know.” He says, avoiding the question at hand. You smile into the phone, cheeks hot, a tornado of butterflies raging in your stomach.
“Are you sugaring me up, Eddie.”
“You’re already sweet as sugar, baby.”
Baby. God, you want to squeal at the word. It sounds like heaven coming from his mouth, making your heart thud hard in your chest.
“Are you gonna tell me why or not, hm?”
“You make me nervous, sweetheart.”
“Me?” You beam, brighter than the midday sun, voice muffled in the palm of your hand but Eddie hears you and laughs soft as a summers breeze.
“Yeah, you. You could have been an old man or something.” That’s the thing about the world wide web, you never truly know who you’re talking to. Lucky for you, you found Eddie.
“I thought the same about you, Eddie.” You admit, crawling off your bed with the speaker tucked against your ear and shoulder, ambling over to your dresser determined to get out of the itchy dress you wear. You pull out your night clothes and walk back to your bed, putting the phone on speaker as you start to change.
“Oh yeah? And yet you still gave me your number?” He challenges, a smile in his voice, you wonder what he’s doing as you slip out of your diner uniform.
“I had hope that you were real. Guess I was right.” You toss your dirty uniform into the hamper across the room before pulling the old band shirt on.
“Guess so. Hey, what are you doing?”
“I’m changing, I had just got off work when I messaged you. I’ll die if I have to wear this uniform any longer.” After pulling some shorts on you crawl back onto your bed, Eddie’s silent for a couple seconds before he whispers right into the phone.
“What are you wearing?”
You laugh so hard you snort, laugh even harder when Eddie tries to take back what he’s said.
“I’m sorry that was weird.”
“Well, do you still wanna know?”
“If you’ll tell me.”
“Hmm, okay.” You pull at the black tattered fabric of your shirt, rubbing the fabric between your fingers. “I am wearing an old band shirt and some pink shorts.”
“Sexy.” He says and then- “What’s the band?”
“You’re gonna laugh at me.” You say, poking the teddy bear you placed in your lap.
“I promise I won’t, sweetheart.” He coos.
“It’s a Savage Garden shirt.”
He laughs so loud you have to pull the phone away from your ear.
“Eddie! You promised!” You whine, covering your face as if he could see you.
“I’m sorry, baby! I just didn’t expect that.” He’s still chuckling as he says it and despite him breaking his promise you still smile because once again he called you baby. You liked the thought of being his baby.
“You’re mean, Eddie. You wanna make fun of me? Tell me what you’re wearing, mister!”
“I’m wearing a Metallica shirt and some black jeans.” Eddie speaks with no enthusiasm and you imagine him in your head.
You picture him being tall, broad shouldered, crazy hair although you can’t picture what color or length. It’s the same with his face, in your mind his features are all a blur, like in a dream when you can see everything but their face. You spend a lot of time trying to imagine certain things about him, putting the pieces together like a puzzle. You knew his interest, knew his heart, knew his voice, the only thing left is to put a face to the man that you knew without a doubt -if given the chance- you could fall for.
“Lemme guess,”You ponder, crossing your ankles. “You also have a leather jacket, maybe a denim vest with patches are something and those jeans of yours, which I’m guessing are your favorite out of the handful that you own, have rips in them.”
Silence over the line and then his voice, soft, comes through.
“How’d you know?” He says, admiration clear in his tone.
“I know your type, Eddie.” You grin to yourself, rolling onto your side. The last of the sunset trickles through your window, casting soft orange rays across your carpet. It’ll be gone soon, replaced by a starry sky you wish you could sit under with him.
“Yeah? How so?”
“You’re a metalhead, kinda comes with the territory.”
“I guess so. Here, that just makes me a freak.”
“I don’t think you’re a freak.”
“Yeah, I know. That’s what I like about you.”
“What else do you like about me?” You ask playfully, reaching to turn your bedside lamp on as the sun fades into the horizon.
“Oh I got a list around here somewhere.” He teases.
“Oh really, gonna have to show me one day.”
“Absolutely, sweetheart. Just tell me when and where.”
When and where. That was your biggest question; where did he live? If it wasn’t too far you’d drive to meet him, buy a room at whatever hotel or motel was around. Even better if he had room for you at his place. Didn’t matter, not really, you’d drive across the country for him. He’d become your best friend in such a short time, it didn’t matter what he looked like or where he was from, you just wanted to be around him.
“Hey, Eddie?”
“Yeah, sweetheart?”
“Can I ask you something?”
“Of course. Anything.”
“Where do you live?”
He pauses for a second, scuffling making the line static, before he clears his throat and says-
“Hawkins, Indiana. What about you? I-if you wanna tell me. You don’t have to.”
Shit.
“Did you say Hawkins?” You ask, sitting up in your bed. You stand as he answers, walking over to your window to peek out at the street below. The sun has set, lilac clouds drifting across an indigo sky, the street lights on Maple just turning on.
“Yeah, it’s a smallish hick town like eighty miles outside of Indianapolis. Why?” His voice falls off, wavering with concern. Meanwhile you’ve dropped your phone, digging through the wicker chest at the end of your bed for your highschool yearbook. Once you find it you rush back over and pick up the phone, your hands shaking as you flip to the seniors, searching for his face among your peers. When you find him your heart skips a beat.
“Long dark hair, big brown eyes, you-” You giggle anxiously, running your finger over his smiling face on the page. “Eddie Munson, your name is Eddie Munson.”
Eddie’s dead silent and for a second you think he’s hung up, that is until you hear his shaky breath.
“D-Do you live in Hawkins?” He asks, sounding nervous.
“I do.”
“Holy shit.” He says, and then again. “Holy fucking shit.”
“Eddie, you okay?” You ask, sitting down in the middle of your bed, staring down at his picture like you’re speaking to his face. “I’m sorry if I freaked you out.”
“No, uh, no. I just… You know who I am and I still don’t know who you are.”
“Oh, you probably don’t remember me. I spent most of my time in the library or with my face buried in a book.” You lean back against your headboard. “I’m looking at your senior photo right now, you know.”
“Oh god, which year?” He asks with a scoff.
“‘97. You looked really cute.” You can feel yourself blush, unknown to you, Eddie’s face is bright red.
“Tell me your last name.” He whispers, but it’s loud, like he's holding the phone right to his mouth.
“No.”
“What? W-why?” He stammers, voice now booming through the phone.
“Are you busy right now?”
“No…”
“Wanna meet me at Forest Hills Park?” You’re already slipping your shoes on, finding your purse that you’d thrown as you entered your room earlier.
“Like, now?”
“Like, in ten minutes.”
“You’re… You’re not fucking with me right?” You can hear the uncertainty in his voice and it makes you sad. How many times had he told you about his highschool experience? You knew how badly people treated him. Mostly behind his back, but there were times you’d seen some dumb jock shove him against a locker as they walked past or how theyd scowl at him in the halls, call him and his friends names as they ate their lunch. Eddie didn’t know who you were exactly; only that you knew him. Eddie ‘The Freak’ Munson. That must scare the shit out of him. Like walking into battle without knowing who your enemy is.
“I’d never do that to you, Eddie. I promise.” You mean it, every word.
“How will I know if it's you?" He asks and in the background you can hear the metallic clinking of keys.
“I’ll be the girl in the Savage Garden shirt and booty shorts. Can’t miss me.” This earns you a chuckle and your heart blooms.
“Okay. I’ll see you then, sweetheart.”
“I can’t wait.”

A STEP FURTHER
Sequel to SIT ON ME
a/n: as per requested, here is a part two to my recent sebastian fic! hope you guys will like it as much as you did the previous part! also, there’s not gonna be any more parts!
pairing: Sebastian Stan X Assistant!Reader
word count: 3k
masterlist
Tumblr media
You were expecting it. You knew how the internet and most importantly, Sebastian’s fans work. Just hours after the event, dozens of videos got out of Sebastian saying that he wanted you to sit on him if he was a chair, an answer to a highly inappropriate question that shouldn’t have been asked in the first place, but your crazy ass boss thought otherwise.
It washed over the whole fandom and soon enough everyone was talking about the two of you. And because part of your job is to be up to date about Sebastian’s media presence, you had to face not just him but yourself all over the internet. Fans started to dig up every tiny interaction between the two of you caught on camera, they posted photo montages of you and him just out and about or going from one meeting to the other. They started to look for signs that you’re dating and half of the fandom became convinced that you’re in a secret relationship. Speculations and rumors spread faster than wildfire and there was no way to stop it, you just had to live with it.
In the meanwhile, Sebastian didn’t seem to be bothered by it at all. It’s like he didn’t even acknowledge the fuss about the two of you, like it was all so natural and normal to be seen as a couple by the whole world when you were just his employee.
“What? It’s not like I ever addressed anything about my dating life,” he shrugged one day when you asked him why he is not caring about the situation at all. And that was pretty much it.
The fans wouldn’t have been that big of a deal to you either. They are strangers, they always get fixated on something and soon enough you knew something new would come up and make them forget about your existence. The people close to you on the other hand are a whole different side of the story.
Following the event, Mackie wouldn’t shut up about Sebastian being hopelessly in love with you and he would nag you to go on a date already, getting on your nerves even more than he usually does with his nosiness. You love the man, you really do, but he needs to learn how to stay in his own lane.
And then, slowly but surely every friend you and Sebastian shared caught up on the story and they started asking you about it again and again and you had to tell them the same thing every damn time: you and Sebastian were working together, no romance was involved between the two of you.
No one believed you.
Now it’s been weeks and people still go crazy whenever you and Seb step out together, which happens quite often since he’s been having a busy month work-wise. Paparazzi are always following you around, catching every moment you spend out in the public, putting you on the tabloids nonstop. It’s become your usual.
Another day, another event. The day starts early for you before you pick Sebastian up and heading out to have breakfast before you are supposed to show up at the concert hall that’s going to be the venue of today’s interview and Q&A.
“Mackie has been blowing my phone up all morning,” you grumble upon seeing another text from said man before you just turn your phone screen facing down so you can finish your toast in peace.
“What does he want?” Sebastian hums.
“He is asking if I’m coming today, as if I missed any events these past weeks,” you huff shaking your head.
“He has been acting weird,” Sebastian grimaces, reaching for his coffee. “Weirder than his usual,” he adds.
“What do you mean?”
“I don’t know, he just asks weird stuff,” he shrugs, not paying much attention to it and you decide to do the same.
Not much later, you’re finished with your food, only sipping on your coffee when you spot a group of girls near your table, their phones pointing in your direction and you have to stop yourself from growling, turning a little so you’re not facing the phones entirely. Sebastian notices your discomfort and looking around he spots the girls as well before turning back to face you. He doesn’t say a word, just gets up from his seat and strides over to the group as you watch him with wide eyes.
“Hi girls, can I ask you to delete the pictures you took, please? I’m happy to take selfies with you, just please don’t post the ones of us eating, okay?” you hear him ask them, leaving you completely speechless. Luckily, the girls are happy to obligate and he quickly poses for pictures with all of them before joining you back at the table.
“Why did you do that?” you ask him, eyebrows raised in surprise.
“You clearly didn’t like that they took pictures of us and I know you don’t like how we are being talked about recently, so I thought I would… try to help about that a little,” he shrugs, finishing the rest of his coffee.
“I just don’t like that everyone is in our business,” you sigh, folding your arms on your chest as you lean back in your seat.
“So we have business? Together?” he asks, raising his eyebrows at you over the table.
“That’s not how I… We talked about this, Seb,” you breathe out, your shoulders falling forward.
“Ages ago. Things might have changed since then,” he suggests shrugging his shoulder.
“I still work for you,” you point it out. “Things are better this way.”
“Sure, whatever you say,” he mumbles, clearly hurt by your words, but there’s not much you can do against it. “Let’s go, I don’t want Mackie to be up in my ass for being late,” he sighs, leaving the money on the table that most likely covers both your meals and a fat tip as well.
The car ride to the venue is silent, but not in the comfortable way it sometimes is. It’s awkward and you keep glancing at him, trying to find the right words but you’re not even sure what you want to tell him.
I’m sorry we work together so we can’t date? I’m sorry I keep rejecting you? I’m sorry I’m afraid if we go any further than this it will ruin our friendship?
You have absolutely no idea how to deal with it, so you just stay silent, right until you arrive to the venue. Before Seb could get out of the car you speak up.
“Are you mad at me now?” you ask, biting into your bottom lip.
“I’m not mad, Y/N. I don’t think I could ever be mad at you,” he truthfully answers, his eyes only falling on you after he has spoken.
“But there’s something, I can tell.”
“I’m just a little frustrated, is all.”
“Because of what people say about us?” you make a guess.
“Because there’s this unsaid situation between us and you just don’t let me address it. You don’t want to talk about it and whenever it’s brought up, you just shut the door right at my face,” he explains and with each spoken word, you feel worse and worse.
“It’s a complicated situation,” you breathe out.
“It’s not,” he retorts. “Do you not like me?”
“Of course I like you!”
“Okay, I like you too so why can’t we be more than just friends?”
“Because we are not just friends. I’m working for you, it’s a different situation!”
“Y/N, this is not an office job, there’s no HR, no policies, we can do whatever we want!” he chuckles bitterly as you keep your eyes down. You don’t have the heart to tell him that it’s not just because of work, but because you’re terribly afraid of being a disappointment to him if you eventually give it a try.
Your silence doesn’t amuses Sebastian and you don’t have time to rave any longer about the situation.
“Forget it, sorry I brought it up again. Let’s just… get over with this thing,” he mumbles before getting out of the car.
You move around each other like strangers, he is clearly avoiding to even look at you and you’re feeling guilty even though you don’t think you have a reason to. Still, you hate seeing him this upset, especially when it’s because of you.
The change in your act is not that evident, but Mackie immediately notices it. When you walk past him he grabs your wrist and pulls you aside.
“What the hell is going on?” he asks with wide, curious eyes.
“What are you talking about?” you retort, acting innocent, but there’s a reason why you didn’t become an actress, you suck at even lying.
“You and Seb are acting like a divorcing couple!” he whisper-yells. Pursing your lip you start chewing on the inside of your cheek as you nervously tap your foot on the ground.
“We just… had a little disagreement.”
“About what?”
“Us,” you breathe out, your head hanging low.
“Wait, so there is an ‘us’?” he asks, air-quoting the last word and you roll your eyes at him.
“No, that’s what the disagreement was about. He wants and I…”
“Don’t tell me you don’t, because I know that’s bullshit. Y/N, I see the way you look at that man, why are you making it so hard for the both of you?”
“It’s just—It might ruin everything and I can’t afford that right now.”
“Ruin everything?!” he grimaces. “What would it ruin?”
“I said fucking everything!” you snap at him, losing your patience that you’re the only one who has issues with the situation. “Our friendship, my job, everything! And I don’t want that. I can’t have that.”
“Dating someone wouldn’t ruin the friendship, Y/N. This is not middle school. Friendship is part of being with someone and you two have that. Just let it take a step further.”
“Thanks for the advice, but I’m good. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have stuff to do,” you mumble under your breath before walking away from him before he could get another word out.
It’s not that you don’t want it, because you do, you really do. You’ve been in love with the man for a long time and knowing that he has feelings for you too makes you have a heart attack every time you think about it. But you are so afraid it might go south and then you’ll end up losing your job and one of your closest friends as well. Because above everything Sebastian grew to be your biggest confidant, the person you turn to whenever you are feeling down, when you need a shoulder to cry on, you can’t imagine your life without him anymore and it’s not just about the times when you’re working. Traveling around the world with him is a blessing, you love the little moments you share, the late night movie nights in hotel rooms or when you’re exploring a new city together. You love messing around in his trailer when he is filming, making silly videos on sets or playing around with props you shouldn’t even touch. You can share anything with him and vice versa. If you lose him for whatever reason, you would be left with a hole in your life that would just simply never disappear, because no one will ever be like him and that’s a fact. You’re terribly afraid to risk everything for something that might not even work. You might be a horrible item, romance can bring out things of people that haven’t shown before.
The guys finally get on stage and you watch them from the side as always. It goes as usual, they are joking around, making a show, entertaining the audience as they go over the interview before the question round starts. You don’t realize it at first, but you’re holding your breath as one question follows the other, you’re scared someone might ask Sebastian about you and the shit show would blow up again. You can only hope his answer wouldn’t be as stupid as it was before. But luckily, the audience keeps you out of their business, only focusing on what’s important, so you start to feel relieved. Right until the whole event is nearing its end and Mackie decides to take matters into his own hands.
“I think we have time for one more question,” the interviewer announces and dozens of hands shoot up into the air, desperate to get the chance to ask the men on stage, but before anyone could get the mic, Mackie speaks up.
“Actually, can I have that last question?” he chimes in holding up a finger.
“Uh, sure, go ahead!” the interviewer responds, clearly a little puzzled about his request. Mackie then turns to face Sebastian who is sitting on his right and just by the look on his face you already know what it’s gonna be about.
“Sebastian, my question is: What do you love most about Y/N?”
He can barely finish the question, the crowd erupts in cheers and whistles that he had the guts to ask him about you, but you’re feeling different about his ballsy move.
“Mackie! No!” you shout from the side, both men looking your way. Mackie tries to look innocent while Sebastian’s face is unreadable, his piercing blue eyes are just staring right back at you and you wish you could read his mind.
“Alright, I take back the ques—“ Mackie starts in a mumble, but Sebastian is quick to cut him off.
“Nah, I’ll answer,” he simply says, another round of cheering filling the place and you accept defeat.
Squatting down you hug your knees to your chest as you listen to the inevitable answer Sebastian is about to give.
“What I love the most about Y/N is that she is genuinely the best person anyone could ever have in their life. She is so selfless and caring towards others, always got her friends’ back no matter what. I love that we aren’t just simply working together but we are friends too, really good ones and that I know nothing can change that.”
Listening to his soothing voice through the speakers, you feel your throat closing up, especially at the last part he just said. Chewing on your bottom lip you tilt your head to the side as he continues.
“Literally anything can happen, we could have the worst fight ever and I still know that we would make up no matter what. She is… just an amazing and exceptional person.”
There’s a heavy moment of silence and you’re staring at him from afar with teary eyes as his eyes are glued to his hands in his lap.
“Damn,” Mackie breathes out, making everyone laugh and Sebastian’s gaze rises to him with a small smile on his lips.
There’s no time to dwell on his answer, the event needs to end. The interviewer thanks for their time and as the crowd cheers to them they head off the stage, waving at them until they disappear.
You’ve moved to the corner of the room, not wanting to be in the way, but you’re still not over the speech Sebastian just gave about you. As he appears from the stage his eyes are clearly scanning the room, searching for someone and when he finally spots you, his face hardens as he heads in your way. You’re standing with your hand covering your lips, eyes still slightly watered and seeing you like this he knots his eyebrows together in worry.
“Hey, what’s—“
“Did you mean that?” you breathe out, your voice trembling. “Did you mean it that nothing can change that?”
“Of course,” he nods, finally seeing what this is all about. “We’ve always found our way back to each other, haven’t we?”
“But dating is so much different than what we do now!” you breathe out, still not entirely sure it’s what you should do.
“Why would it be?” he chuckles softly. “We are already spending the majority of our time together, we know each other better than some couples, it wouldn’t be that big of a change, Y/N. And just like how it could ruin things between us, not taking the step could do the same, because sooner or later it’s gonna be unbearable, one of us might end up dating someone else and that wouldn’t do good to us for sure. I would rather accept the end of it knowing that we gave us a try than not even trying.”
“What if I turn out to be a completely shitty girlfriend?” you ask in a whisper as he steps closer, his hands finding your wrists as he pulls them away from your face, holding them gently. “W-What if I—“
“Shut up,” he cuts you off chuckling. “There’s no chance you are shitty at anything,” he replies teasingly, making you smile the slightest. “But even if you do end up being one, we’ll work on it together.”
His hands guide your hands around his waist, you hold onto his shirt as he cups your face in his hands, his face inching closer until his nose is brushing against yours.
“I really hope you’re right,” you breathe out, giving up to resist it any longer. There’s no use.
“Was I ever not right?” he asks smugly.
“Oh remember when—“
You don’t get to finish, because he silences you the best way possible, his lips smashing onto yours. It’s been long due and it doesn’t disappoint, his lips feel soft and perfect against yours, you can’t help but let out a pleased hum as your hands slide up his toned chest and your arms curl around his neck while his hands find your waist strong arms circling your waist as he pulls you tight against him.
“That’s what I’m talking about!” Mackie’s voice breaks the moment and as you both pull back and turn in his direction, you see him pump his fist into the air with a victorious smirk on his face.
“Mind your own business, Mackie!” Seb calls out to him as you bury your face in the crook of his neck giggling like a little school girl.
“It’s my business! I made it happen!” Mackie retorts and a laugh rumbles through Seb’s chest.
“I’ll send you a thank you gift card later!” he shouts back before turning to you again, kissing the side of your head.
Thank you for reading, please like and reblog if you enjoyed it!

All lists: 1, 5, 7, 9, 15 tarlos
Oh my God, T, I love you 😂
Well, I did not expect the first ask to be such a long one... I also promised myself to keep the snippets short... but they grew progressively longer 😂
I hope you all enjoy it, even though none of this is beta-read and it is now after 2am and my brain is so empty, I probably shouldn't be allowed on the internet anymore... but anyway:
Hugs
1. friendly hugs 5. side hugs 7. pulling someone into a hug 9. eye-to-eye hugs 15. tender embrace
“Nonono, I’m sure it was here–”
“Carlos, it’s fine!” TK assured for the umpteenth time, smiling fondly at his fiancé, who was currently opening drawer after drawer. “Really, it’s not that important.”
“No, it’s not okay. It should be here. I’m sure it is. Gimme a second–”
“Babe.”
No longer trying to calm Carlos with just his words, he stepped closer and pulled him into a hug. Carlos resisted for all of two seconds before he went pliant in TK’s arms, burying his face in TK’s neck, as he so often did. TK could feel him take a deep breath before he leaned back, looking right at him as he kept holding him in a tender embrace.
“I’m sorry, TK. I must’ve misplaced it.”
“That’s okay. Babe, really. Don’t beat yourself up over this.” Pressing a gentle kiss to Carlos’ lips, he poured all his love into it before leaning back with a smile.
Carlos’ eyes were closed for a moment longer but when they opened, he still looked somewhat apologetic as he suggested, “We can go and buy a new one if you want?”
“Oooor,” TK replied, already pulling his fiancé towards the bedroom. “We can stay in and you can make it up to me in other ways if you feel like you absolutely have to.”
For good measure, he added a playful wink, relieved when Carlos finally smiled back at him. A moment later, the man was practically on him, his strong chest pressed to TK’s back and his breath hot against TK’s ear as he pushed him further along.
“That I can certainly do,” he promised hotly, right before they were both tumbling into their bed.
Kisses
1. goodnight kisses 5. morning kisses 7. passionate kisses 9. first kisses 15. soothing kisses
The bar was crowded and TK’s head was spinning. But… in a good way? He felt delirious in a way he hadn’t in a long time – and the fact that it wasn’t because of drugs simply amplified the good feeling.
No, it had nothing to do with drugs – it was all thanks to the man before him, dancing and smiling and so very clearly flirting with him. The almost stranger was hot, a solid ten, maybe even an eleven if TK wanted to be overly dramatic. Compared to this man, the one whose name TK didn’t want to think of ever again wasn’t even a six. Maybe not even a five.
And damn, the cop could move his hips! Yes, it was just line dancing but the guy somehow made it look so sexy.
So really, who could blame TK for barely making it through three dances before he took the man’s hand and pulled him out of the sticky, crowded bar?
They barely made it to the shadows before they were crashing into each other, their lips touching in what quickly turned into one of the most passionate kisses TK had ever had the pleasure of sharing. God, the guy was perfect, and an amazing kisser as well. TK moaned when teeth dug into his lower lip, biting and nibbling, just this side of too painful. On the brink of almost being too much, the kiss turned softer again, a soothing tongue brushing over his abused lip. And in a way, the kiss itself was soothing, quieting the voices in TK’s head, chasing away the deep, deep gray and the darkness – but TK was too preoccupied right now to think further about what this might mean.
Focusing back on the moment, on the here and now, he made sure to deepen the kiss again. As far as first kisses went, this one quickly rose to the top of his list.
And speaking of something rising…
Panting, TK leaned back, sending the cop a lopsided grin, silently asking a question he hoped would be understood. If the fire in those deep, deep brown eyes was anything to go by, the desire was mutual, and TK followed willingly when he was led even further around the honky tonk, further and further into the shadows…
Hand-Holding
1. tiny hands in big hands 5. platonic hand-holding 7. dancing with their hands holding onto each other 9. holding hands across the table 15. loosely holding onto each other’s hands, laying in one’s lap
The party at the Reyes farm was in full swing, laughter all around them, music and dancing and chatter. The whole family had gathered, celebrating Andrea and Gabriel’s golden anniversary.
TK sat in the middle of it, taking it all in with a smile. After all the years with his husband and his big, big family, it was still sometimes overwhelming, if only a little bit. He’d never had this big of a family – but he’d always wished for one. And the reason he now had it was currently in the middle of the make-shift dance floor, twirling around their seven-year-old.
Carlos’ laugh and Isa’s giggles rang out over the backyard, father and daughter dancing with their hands tightly holding onto each other. Except for when Carlos would have her twirl around her own axis, or when he would lift her high in the air, making her squeal. It was a picture that TK would never forget, that he would treasure in his heart forever.
Just like every other moment with the love of his life and their three kids.
“Daddy, daddy,” Laney called him back to the moment.
Turning in his seat, careful not to wake baby Diego, TK smiled at their four-year-old, who sat on the other side of the table.
“Yes, sweetpea?”
“My hands are sticky,” she told him with a look on her face that looked half confused – as if she was wondering how they could’ve gotten sticky – half proud… for… well, whatever reason. Maybe for getting her hands sticky, who knew.
Sighing, TK carefully shifted Diego in his lap and reached for his back, producing one of the wet wipes. Motioning for Laney to come closer, he chuckled when instead of just coming around the table, she simply climbed up on the chair and leaned over the table. Silly bee.
“Come here, my little monkey.”
Holding her hands across the table, he gently wiped them clean, and then also wiped across her mouth, for good measure. Laney pulled a face at that, but her hands never left TK’s, holding onto him.
At least, until he was done and they heard Carlos and Isa laugh again. All of a sudden, Laney’s hand was gone from his and she jumped off the chair, racing over to the dance floor, curls and dress flying in the wind. “Papa, papa, me too. Dance with me.”
Chuckling, TK readjusted their baby boy and watched as Carlos caught Laney just in time, spinning her around in his arms, before sitting her back down. With one daughter on each hand, he raised his arms, letting them twirl around.
A small chortle pulled TK’s attention back down, where he was looking right into Diego’s brown eyes.
“Hey, little man. Had a good nap?”
Diego smiled up at him, wide and toothless, his tiny hands clapping together. As always, he was wide awake from one heartbeat to another. When tiny hands reached for him, TK caught them in his big ones and leaned down, pretending to nibble on them. Diego squealed in delight and TK repeated the action a few times, including sound effects and all.
It wasn’t until Isa was standing right before him, pulling on his arm, that TK stopped pretending to eat his son. Instead, he settled Diego on his hip and then let Isa take his hand to pull him over to the dance floor. He hardly had a chance to share a kiss with Carlos, their girls demanding that they all danced the next dance together. And how could TK and Carlos ever say no to either of their children…
Touching
1. touching foreheads 5. feeling their pulse 7. holding hands 9. listening to the other’s heartbeat 15. hugging each other
I stole a scene from my own fic - A Love Like Theirs - for this because it fits so perfectly...
Carlos could feel TK shaking, even though his financé definitely tried to hold it together as he quickly yet meticulously cleaned his bleeding hand. It hurt, but Carlos certainly wouldn’t say that. TK could probably guess, so where was the point?
Besides, TK was definitely pissed at him.
“I can’t believe you did that,” he pressed out, his voice sounding strange. He was obviously forcing himself to stay calm, but his expression was too pinched, too tight for calmness.
No, this wasn’t a calm version of TK. This was the pissed-off version of him.
Still, Carlos couldn’t help himself. “Really?” he asked, smiling softly at the love of his life. “You can’t believe I risked a bloody hand to save a little girl?”
The glare TK sent him was deadly but Carlos was still running on his adrenaline high of saving a kid from a car just before it had gone up in flames. Besides, TK always looked somewhat adorable when he was mad, so really, Carlos couldn’t be blamed for chuckling at his fiancé. Thankfully, TK simply rolled his eyes and then leaned back over the injured hand.
But after a moment, he went on. “You know you could’ve seriously hurt yourself.”
His voice was much calmer, but it held a note that Carlos couldn’t catch right away. Still, he assured his man.
“I’m fine. And most importantly, so is the girl.”
When there was no reaction from his fiancé, no further scolding or angry quip, Carlos had a sinking feeling in his stomach. Canting his head, he tried to catch TK’s gaze.
“Hey, look at me,” he gently told him.
It took a moment, but eventually, TK looked up and met his gaze with teary eyes. Instantly, Carlos sobered up, understanding right away. With his good hand, he reached out, gently settling it on TK’s hip. They were still in public, even though the ambulance stood a bit apart from the rest of the emergency vehicles. But they were both in uniform and so Carlos didn’t risk too much, pulling TK only a little closer. Just enough for their legs to bump into each other.
“Hey, baby,” he murmured, gently, softly, only for TK to hear. “I’m fine, okay?”
But stubborn as he was, TK shook his head, reaching for some gauze to cover the cuts on his hand. Carlos didn’t press the matter, detecting that TK needed to take care of him right now, more than he needed to be reassured. At least, until Carlos hand was taken care of as good as he could outside of a hospital.
Carlos stayed quiet and let it happen – but the moment TK was done, he caught his hand and moved it to his own neck; making sure TK’s fingertips rested right over his pulse, making sure he could feel it.
TK’s shaking had grown worse, and his fingers were digging into the side of Carlos’ neck to the point where it was almost painful. Not that Carlos would ever admit to that, of course not. He simply let TK take all the time he needed, let him take his fill of feeling Carlos’ pulse beating. Carlos’ bandaged hand stayed over TK’s, making sure he wouldn’t pull away too soon, thinking he was taking too much. His other hand was still on TK’s hip, brushing gentle circles with his thumb; wishing he could just push away TK’s stiff uniform shirt and brush along his skin instead. But really, that would be far too indecent.
After a while, he could feel how TK slowly began to calm down. His shaking subsided and when he finally took a deep breath, it sounded so shattered that it nearly split Carlos’ heart. A moment later, TK leaned in and gently let their foreheads touch.
Closing his own eyes, Carlos gave himself a chance to let it all sink in. The adrenaline had left his system, he could feel the ache in his hand, but mostly, he felt TK breathe in and out, soaking up his closeness, his fingers still feeling for Carlos’ pulse.
“I’m fine,” Carlos eventually whispered, realizing that he truly meant it. “I promise. I’m fine… I won’t die on you.”
TK’s next breath sounded like a strangled laugh, and before Carlos knew what was happening, the fingers on his pulse were gone, two strong arms engulfing him instead. Not hesitating, Carlos wound his good arm around TK’s body, pulling him as close as he possibly could. How long they were hugging each other he couldn’t tell – but he certainly wouldn’t be the one to let go. With TK still standing and Carlos sitting on the back of the ambulance, his fiancé was taller than him for once. Which meant that right now, Carlos’ ear was pressed to TK’s chest.
Listening to TK’s heartbeat had always been soothing to him, and right now was no different.
They were interrupted by Nancy clearing her throat. Thankfully though, his fiancé’s partner didn’t say anything as she passed them, simply holding out her hand for the keys. Which TK gave her without hesitation. By the time Tommy joined them, TK had settled Carlos in the back of the ambulance. Carlos was sure he could’ve let Mitchell drive him to the hospital instead of blocking a whole ambulance. But when TK silently took his hand, holding it for the rest of the way, he couldn’t find it in him to complain.
For once, he allowed TK and himself to be selfish while on the clock.
I hope you liked all of them 🥰
There are so many more asks in my inbox, thank you so much for that... but right now, Noxy needs sleep, lol. I'll continue tomorrow.
Send me an ask and get drabbles in return 😊

Text
you’re so golden (corpse x reader)
Summary: You’re a faceless youtuber that sings cover songs. What happens when a certain faceless streamer slides into your DMs after you cover one of his songs?
Authors note: Part 3 whoop! I havent written fic in 3 years so Im hoping this is okay. Its about 4000 words, super long, sorry. I also dont play Among Us, but hopefully its not too obvious. Lemme know what you think!
You're nervous, though you aren’t quite sure why. The kind of nervousness that spreads to your feet, causing you to tap your toes against the side of your sofa.
Call you in 15.
You look at the message again, staring at it till the screen goes blurry. Rubbing your eyes you exhale into the emptiness of your apartment; a feeble attempt at calming yourself down.
Logically it’s stupid to be nervous over a phone call. Logically you know that in the grand scheme of the universe, there are bigger things at hand. But you’re not a logical person, never have been. You’re all heart and emotion, both a blessing and a curse. There’s something intimate about a phone call, to have nothing but someone’s voice on the other end of the phone, talking to you and only you. It was a little scary; to think your purely online friendship with Corpse was going to be taken to a different level. You’re excited to think what that could mean.
“Fucking get it together,” you mutter to no-one as you exhale again, because there’s nothing else to do other than to wait and try to breath. There’s this frantic energy about you; like when you eat fizzy sweets, the flavour buzzing on your tongue. Your ancestors used to hunt wolves and here you were nervous over a single phone call.
The silence in your apartment’s too much now; too noisy. You grab your TV remote, clicking onto Spotify to find something. You’re scrolling so much, none of the artists feeling quite right for the moment before settling on Sufjan Stevens.
The dulcet tones fill the space, and for a brief second, you feel fine. You’re feeling relaxed and then your phone lights up.
Incoming Facetime Audio
“Fuckfuckfuckfuck” you say. Your face feels warm, your heart quickens in your chest. You could just ignore it, say you’re not feeling too good and that would be that, you wouldn’t have to do this. But it’s Corpse, you like Corpse and you’re kind of friends.
You swipe to accept the call, and press the button for speaker.
“Hey,” you say, cringing at the meek tone your voice has taken on.
“Hey,” Corpse’s deep voice rumbles through your tiny speaker, distorting slightly and you press the volume button to turn it down a little.
There’s a beat of silence, a beat too long, and you already hate how awkward this is. You’re not great at social stuff, the concept of being a social butterfly is almost foreign to you. And it’s not because you dislike people, it’s just you hate this; the small talk, the awkwardness before you get comfortable and can hold an actual conversation.
You suddenly remember a tip from your customer service days. “How are you?” you ask, plastering on a grin so wide that it must look borderline demented. Thank god you’re single.
“I’m okay thanks, how are you?” he asks.
You lounge back against the soft cushions of the sofa, lifting the phone up to your mouth as you do so. “I’m good, excited to be taught by the Among Us master.”
He snorts in disdain. “Hardly a master.”
You chew your lip before you speak again, “I dunno, people on the internet think you’re pretty good.”
He snorts again, and you smile at the sound. It’s not something you’ve heard from him before, through your hours of watching his streams, you’ve become accustomed to his voice and the noises he makes. But this one seems to be new. And maybe it’s the weird, selfish part of you that likes to think he’s only ever made that sound for you. You shake the thought out of your head, because really? Getting happy over a snort is really such a ridiculous thing to do.
“People on the internet say a lot of things.”
“True, but sometimes they speak the truth,” you reply, moving to get more comfortable; tucking your feet under your thighs. You wonder what he’s doing right now as he talks to you, is he sitting down? Or is he lying on his bed; his head propped up with pillows? There’s a brief flash of yearning, of wanting to be there in the same room as him, but it disappears as quickly as it appeared so you ignore it.
“Hm. We’ll agree to disagree.”
“Okay, you’re the boss Mr Husband.”
He chuckles softly, and again, you smile. You can feel yourself getting annoyed with yourself; you’re acting like a child with a crush; smiling at the phone. All you needed now was a notebook that had Mrs YN Husband written all over it.
“You know if you keep calling me that, we’re gonna have to get married,” he says, his voice a little lower than it was before. You blink and cock your head to the side, looking at an imaginary camera like you’re in The Office. Did you say that out loud? Is he...flirting with you? Sure, you’re flirty over Twitter, but it’s Twitter, Twitter isn’t real. There’s a fluttery feeling in your stomach at the mere prospect that he might actually be flirting with you.
“I’d be the best wife you could ever get,” you shoot back. There’s a brief second of silence before he answers, and you can hear shuffling on the other end. You want to ask what he’s doing, but you know it would break the conversation, and you’re curious to see where this goes.
“Oh really? And why’s that?” he asks, and you can picture the smirk in his voice. You have no idea what he looks like, no real care about it either, but you bet he’s got a beautiful smile. You bite your tongue before it tells him this, for once your brain actually works and stops you from making a fool out of yourself. It’s incredibly strange, how quickly he puts you at ease without a try, he’s just so naturally comforting. He’s not this flashy persona, he’s just a guy who likes to play video games and happens to be kinda good at them. And also has a voice that is literally like chocolate. Not just chocolate; dark chocolate. If dark chocolate could talk, it would sound like Corpse.
“Cos your girl can cook,” you say proudly, puffing out your chest a little. And that’s not a lie, you can cook. Okay, you’re not a Michelin starred chef, but you feel quite confident in the fact that Gordon Ramsey could eat your food, and probably (hopefully) wouldn’t scream that it was “fucking raw”.
“And what would you cook for me?” he asks.
You hum in thought for a second. “You’ll have to marry me first to find that out.”
He laughs, a proper laugh that settles in your stomach, spreading warmth through your chest. “I’ll think about it. I can hear music, what are you listening to?”
You straighten up a little, the question catching you off guard. You bite the inside of your cheek as you look at the song that’s playing. It’s not his type of music, you’re almost positive about that. You almost don’t want to tell him out of embarrassment. You’re not sure why you feel embarrassed; you know Corpse isn’t an asshole, he wouldn’t make fun of you. But music is so personal to you, so personal, it’s like baring a piece of your soul; which sounds so fucking cliche, but it’s true.
“Uhhh...It’s called Make out in My Car by Sufjan Stevens,” you reply.
He hums in affirmation. “It sounds nice; from what I can hear.”
“I can turn it up?” you ask, leaning forward to grab the remote off the coffee table.
“You could always sing some for me,” he offers.
You laugh a little, scrunching up your nose. “And why would I do that?”
“I thought you wanted to get married. You have to woo me,” he replies.
“Woo you?” you ask, your tone incredulous. This isn’t how you pictured the conversation going.
“Yeah. Woo me, yn.” he says, dragging out the “o” causing you to laugh again.
You sigh dramatically. “I haven’t warmed up or anything, it’s gonna sound so bad” you warn as you put the song to the beginning.
“I’m sure you sound great. Go ahead, woo me.”
You shake your head as you softly sing. “I'm not trying to go to bed with you, I just wanna make out in my car. And though I'm dying to fall in love with you, I just wanna make out in my car”. You stop and you’re suddenly very aware that you have essentially just serenaded him. Good going, brain.
It’s silent for a beat too long, and the smile that graced your lips starts to fade as the embarrassment starts to set in.
“Well now we definitely have to get married,” he affirms. And there’s that fluttery feeling again.
You swallow, moving the conversation swiftly onto Among Us. You grab your laptop that was next to you, humming in acknowledgement as he walks you through downloading it.
“So there’s a few of us joining us tonight, it should be really fun.”
“Oh. It’s not just us two?” you ask. You focus on the download, watching the number increase. You’re nervous at the prospect of playing with other people, strangers, for the first time.
“No, it’s a 4 player minimum. We’re going to stream as well.”
“Corpse…” you start. You begin to pick at the skin around your nails, a habit you do whenever you get really anxious. This was meant to just be a cute moment where you learnt how to play a game, not a big event where people would be actually watching you, judging your every move.
“We’re going to do a few games off stream with you, you don’t need to be there for the stream after if you don’t want to,” he interrupts.
“Okay,” you trail off, your teeth biting down on your bottom lip. You feel a little better, but not by much. You didn’t know who the other people were, what if they hated you? You ask this out loud.
“I’ll be there. You know Rae and Sykkuno. Felix, Sean and Toast will be there but they’re super nice, I promise.” His voice is sincere, and it soothes you. You don’t know him, not really know him, but you trust Corpse. You know he has his own struggles, and you believe his promise; he wouldn’t screw you over or put you in a situation you were uncomfortable with.
The rest of the call is him taking you through how to play and how to set up something called Proximity Chat so everyone can talk to each other in the game. He says it’s easier once you actually play, and it doesn’t sound particularly hard quite honestly, you just hope you don’t get imposter on the first try because you’re not the greatest liar.
The game screen pops up, and you type in the code that Corpse gives you. You say goodbye to Corpse, who tells you to text him if you need any help. You drop into the game lobby, and you look at the little astronaut. There’s no time to dwell as a cacophony of voices hits you.
“YN!” Rae screeches and you chuckle at her enthusiasm. You’ve known Rae for a few years now, you met at college and had become fast friends. Though you had many different interests - gaming for one, you considered her your best friend. Rae was the type of friend where you didn’t need to talk every single day, you could message her a week later and it would be like no time had passed at all. And you loved that, sometimes you just didn’t want to talk to anyone. Sometimes your mood wasn’t the best, and you needed a little time to recharge. And she understood that, something that you were eternally grateful for.
“Raebies!” you screech back, using your “pet” name for her.
“I’ve been trying to get you to play forever. But Mr Smooth Operator over there slides into your DMs and suddenly you’re a gamer now?”
“It sounds so sordid when you say it like that,” you reply.
“Hi yn! Glad to see you playing with us,” Sykkuno says. You greet him and the others, making sure to say hi to everyone in the game. You didn’t want to start off by being accidentally rude. You listen as everyone talks amongst each other, and you talk when spoken to, but you aren’t interjecting. It wasn’t anything against the other players, it was just a little overwhelming, and you were figuring out what everyone was like.
“Hello,” Corpse’s voice interrupts your train of thought and you greet him along with everyone else.
“Aw, I wanted purple,” you say, frowning at Corpse’s name above the astronaut.
“We can switch,” he replies.
“No it’s o -” you start to speak before you realise he’s already switched to white. “Thank you, you didn’t have to.” You smile as you switch to purple, and you decide to add a flower for a little pizzazz.
“It’s your first game, I’ll kill you if I get imposter so it’ll even out,” he jokes and everyone laughs. The countdown begins and you puff your cheeks out, exhaling as it gets to 1. You’re nervous again, a seemingly common theme of the night. Your shoulders relax as the word CREWMATE flashes across the screen.
You watch as everyone but Corpse disperses from the cafeteria with haste, and you look at the keyboard to press the buttons to move.
“You ever see an old person text? That’s how I’m picturing you right now,” Corpse says as you walk together to Weapons.
“Shut up Sonny,” you reply in your best old woman voice, getting a laugh. You open up the task, shooting the Asteroids with ease. “Yay, I completed a task!”
“Good job,” Corpse replies, and you beam at the praise. You move down to o2, doing your task while Corpse does his.
“Wait, you could be imposter right? How would I know?” you ask as you walk together to Navigation.
“You wouldn’t, you just have to trust me,” he says, his voice full of charm.
You scowl. “Well that just makes me not want to trust you.”
Before he replies, there’s a blaring alarm. DEAD BODY REPORTED. You blink at the suddenness; you were really enjoying the relaxing pace of the game. You look at the screen; Felix has been killed.
“Who found the body?” Corpse asks.
“I did,” Rae answers. “I was in admin, and was going to lower engine and it was there in storage.”
“If you were in admin, why didn’t you go up through Cafeteria?” Toast asks.
“Because it’s quicker to go through storage,” Rae replies. They argue between themselves, and you listen intently and silently. It’s a lot of information, you can’t tell whose lying, but you guess that’s what makes a good player.
“Where were you yn?” Sean quizzes, and it takes you a second to realise you’re being spoken to.
“Oh. I was in um o2?”
“You don’t sound too sure there, pretty sus,” he says. Your face heats up a little, you’re not the imposter, but it feels like you are.
“She was in o2 and then we went to Navigation,” Corpse answers, and you breathe out as he takes on the interrogation.
“Oh you were together?” Rae asks, and you know that tone she’s got. It’s the tone that says she’ll be messaging you right away.
“Well yeah, it’s her first game, I’m not gonna leave her alone,” he says and you smile at that.
“Yeah we’ve been together the whole time,” you add and it’s left at that. No-one votes anyone out, since no-ones really too suspicious. You carry on the game, and you find yourself really enjoying it, though the questioning part is kind of stressful. You can see why Corpse likes it so much, it’s really fun. You’re in electrical, humming as you do your task when Rae comes next to you.
“Hey,” you greet her.
“I’m sorry, nothing personal,” she replies. Before you have a chance to say a word, she kills you and you look on in shock as your ghost floats above your body. You listen into the meeting as Rae continues to lie and plead her case. She’s good, but Corpse knows better.
“Wait, you said you found her in electrical and you were where?”
“I was in Upper Engine, and then I went to electrical to do my task,” Rae answers, her voice even and calm.
“I was in Lower Engine, and I didn’t see you,” Corpse says, and you grin at the fact Rae’s been found out. That’s what she gets for killing you.
“You were doing your task, I passed right by you,” Rae starts. She pleads her case, but it’s too late and she’s voted out.
“That was so much fun!” you declare. “I can see why you guys play it all the time.”
“Yes! We have converted another!” Felix shouts in victory.
“And all it took was Corpse,” Rae mutters sarcastically.
“Don’t get bitter Rachel, just get better,” you reply, causing the group to laugh.
You get the hang of it after a few games, and find yourself agreeing to stay while the others stream, though you decide against it yourself. You’ve only streamed once by yourself, and it was a very casual affair and you don’t want to feel too much pressure while you enjoy yourself. You know that Corpse gets nervous when he streams and he’s been doing it for so much longer, so you can only imagine how nervous you would be.
You tap your fingernails against the keyboard as the lobby counts down, any previous nerves have been replaced with excitement.
IMPOSTER flashes across. You’re the only one, your astronaut looks lonely on the screen by itself, and the red letters almost taunt you.
“Shit,” you mutter as your brain goes into overdrive. What was it Corpse had said before? Not to be too obvious. You don’t kill immediately, instead going at your previous pace to not look too suspicious. You were still fairly new to the game, and you were going to use that to your advantage.
You fake your task in Cafeteria before venting over to Navigation where Toast was.
“Hi Toast!” you greet, coming to stand next to him as you pretend you’re doing the task.
“Oh hey yn,” he says. It doesn’t seem like he suspects you, and you’re not quite sure when to click the Kill button. You do it anyway before running out and going down and into shields. There’s adrenaline running through you as the dead body’s reported and you crack your knuckles before putting on your game face. You were going to play dumb, play the confused newbie - because to them, that’s what you were.
“YN, where were you?” Corpse asks. Fuck. Maybe you weren’t going to get away with this.
You twiddle your hair as you draw out your words, playing the role perfectly. “Uhm I was in...shields? I think that’s what it’s called. I was in the cafeteria before that though.”
“Wait, you couldn’t have, I was in weapons. I would have seen you,” Sykkuno says.
You open your mouth to talk. “She could have vented,” Felix comments, and the rest of the group starts to agree.
“Guys, I don’t even know what venting is. I literally just started playing,” you point out, giggling.
“That’s true,” Rae agrees and you knew there was a reason you loved her.
“Bullshit! She’s playing you with her “oh I don’t know how to play” schtick,” Felix proclaims.
“Aw, that’s kind of rude, Felix. I’m just enjoying the game, doing the tasks,” you say, pouting a little. He’s the next on your list.
Everyone skips the vote and you lean over your laptop, ready for the next round. You were going to win this. You kill Rae and Toast next, and yet again, manage to worm your way out of any suspicion. You can sense that Corpse and Felix are starting to get suspicious of you, and you know you need to bring out the big guns to throw them off.
You catch Sykkuno in Med Bay after checking the cams in Security.
“Hi yn!” he greets, and you almost feel guilty as you kill him. He’s so sweet and innocent, but unfortunately, casualties are a given. You pass Felix as he comes out of reactor and it’s only a matter of time before you’ll have to talk your way out of this one again.
“I passed yn as I came out of reactor,” Felix shouts with a hint of glee.
You roll your eyes; this is going to be tough. “Yeah I came from Upper Engine, I was finishing part 2 of a task.”
“I was in Electrical, where was the body?” Corpse asks.
“Med Bay. And the only one that could’ve been there was yn,” Felix starts.
“Well no, you could have passed me and killed Sykkuno then self reported,” you reply. “I think you can do that right?”
Corpse hums in agreement. “Oh come on! She’s being really sus,” Felix argues.
“You are being a little sus yn,” Corpse comments.
“Corpse. You don’t really think it’s me do you?” You decide to lower your voice a little, your tone sweet but sultry. “You only taught me like an hour ago, there’s no way I’d be able to fool everybody so quickly.” You get close to the mic so it’s like you’re speaking only to Corpse. “Remember what I said? You’re a master at this.” You’re laying it on thick, and for a brief second you think you’ve been too over the top.
“This is difficult,” Corpse says, and you see the seconds count down, your heartbeat starts to quicken.
“Corpse, stop being a fucking simp and vote her out!” Felix demands.
“Corpsie baby,” you drawl out and you smile in success as you hear him sigh, almost shakily. You’ve got this in the bag. The victory screen flashes up and you cheer.
“Fuck yeah!” you shout, patting yourself on the back. You laugh as you exhale the breath you didn’t know you were holding.
“Good game yn!” Sykkuno comments, the others agreeing.
“Not fair, you used your womanly wiles against Corpse,” Felix says.
“Gotta use them for something. Not my fault Corpse knows where his allegiance lies,” you reply laughing a little.
You stretch, your back crying out in pain from being hunched over so long. You let out a long, loud moan of relief as you straighten your spine, your shoulders relaxing as you move from side to side.
“Your mic’s not muted” Corpse points out, clearing his throat. You feel your stomach drop and your face instantly becomes hot. Shit.
“Oh. Uh. I totally forgot about that,” you say, forcing out a chuckle. You screw your eyes shut, any happiness has been now replaced by red hot shame. “So this was fun, uh, really fun, but um, I’m gonna, I’m gonna go. So...yeah. Bye guys, have fun!”
You click to exit without giving anyone a chance to say a word, and drop your head into your hands.
“Can’t wait to see what they say on Twitter about this,” you mutter into your hands.

Socks
Pairing: Wanda Maximoff x reader
Warnings: toxic relationships, small mentions of death, gaslighting, fighting, and miscarriage
Word Count: 4k (literally exactly 4k, I’m kinda proud)
A/N: Based on the song “1 Step Forward, 3 Steps Back” by Olivia Rodrigo as suggested by @vancityfire13, I hope this meets all your hopes and expectations <3 also technically this is my first prompt from someone who’s not me??!
You met Wanda at the library. Your legs crossed, eyebrows scrunched, and bottom lip caught between your teeth, you’d settled in the familiar corner of the library's world languages section. That area was always quiet, which you’d found out after many trips to the library as a kid. When the occasional patron did wander through, perusing the shelves, sometimes they brought family or friends, weaving together sounds and syllables that had to be from another language. It was the only sound you’d tolerate while you were immersed in your reading. Well, to be fully honest, you loved it, wondering what the hushed voices were saying, what stories they were telling. So Wanda’s English was a jarring wake-up call.
“I like your socks.” Her eyes flashed to your ankles, leaving you wondering if she was more drawn to the sky blue color or the characters covering it.
You’d noticed the brunette walking the aisles about ten minutes ago. Unlike most, she ran her fingers along the worn spines, seeming only half-interested in what the titles read.
“Thanks.” Your voice was cold, unwelcoming. She gave you a terse nod before heading off, her footsteps silent against the worn carpet. You thought she was gone.
-
A week later, you were back at your spot. You’d finally finished the work you’d been putting off for weeks, just about to reward yourself with a reread of Little Women, a book you’d read an uncountable number of times since you were a child. She was an unwelcome interruption.
“I’m sorry, I don’t mean to be rude, but-”
“I was looking for a book for my brother. His name is Pietro. Was Pietro. There was a Sokovian fairytale he always loved. Begged my mother to read it to us every night. He could recite it by memory by the time he was five, knew every word. I thought I did too.” Your eyes traced down the curve of her spine. Your mother would have scolded you for standing so poorly.
“I’m sorry for your loss” was all you said, your lips forming a tight line when you finished.
“I couldn’t- I can’t remember the title.”
“I can try to help you find it?” You weren’t sure why you offered, maybe the lost look in her eyes, the growing strength of her accent as she talked, or the way her fingers traced her empty palms. No one should leave a library empty-handed.
“Do you speak Sokovian?” The corners of her eyes creased as you shook your head.
“I suppose you won’t be much help then, will you?” Her words held no bite, only the sadness of a stranger who was trying to hold herself together, her emotions threatening to unravel her at the weakened seams. You matched her facial expression out of sympathy, but she was gone before you had a chance to apologize.
-
“Do you like Disney?” she had asked you. Her eyes were back on your ankles. You were wearing the same socks as when the two of you first met. You were milliseconds away from answering, your tongue already against the roof of your mouth, ready to shut down the conversation immediately afterward. But then you noticed the way her hands fidgeted in her lap, her fingers always moving, almost like they were dancing. You sighed. You should be nicer; she’d really done nothing wrong.
“It’s alright.” Your shoulders raised and dropped, your answer purposefully vague. “Did you manage to find the book?” The darkening of her eyes was enough to tell you that, no, she hadn’t found it. “What’s the main character’s name?” Her gaze followed you as you pulled out your laptop.
“Boleslav,” she answered finally. Her gaze was timid, unsure. Why were you helping her? You’d been so closed off before.
“Do you know any major points of the story? The names of the other characters?” Before she could answer, you eyed the pillow that sat next to you. She took a seat.
The two of you poured over Google, eventually finding the story and its location in the library. But by that point, you were too wrapped up in your findings on the Internet to get up. Too wrapped up in each other.
---
Wanda insisted she make it up to you, for finding the book for her.
“For helping me find my brother,” she insisted, pulling you out of the library. If she was anyone else, you would have responded by saying that she could make it up to you by leaving you alone with your books, but she wasn’t anyone else. So you let her tug you out of the building, Mirabelle, the librarian, giving you a wink upon seeing you leaving the building with someone else, soft smiles gracing your faces.
You thought she would’ve brought you to coffee, but it seemed you hadn’t yet developed the ability to understand her. She brought you to the city, a small store on the corner. Socks lined the walls, the different colors and patterns flooding your vision.
“Your Disney ones looked old.” You half-nodded as you scanned the store, your hand going limp in hers. You remembered learning about rods and cones in class ages ago, not quite remembering what each one did but remembering that one of them was involved in seeing colors. Those—whatever they were called—must’ve been on overdrive.
You picked one pair for her, and she, one for you. You wore those socks constantly, slipping them over your feet the second they were out of the wash. You never told Wanda about it, but you didn’t have to; her eyes fell to your ankles every time she saw you, a small smile on her face. You didn’t know if you did it for her reaction or simply because you loved them. Maybe it was both.
---
Wanda drew you into her world. Some might have used the word “yanked” given how quickly your relationship moved. But that made it sound involuntary, as if she’d forced you to move in with her when she’d asked you exactly eight months after your first date. And if you’d known she had powers when you first met her, you might’ve agreed. Maybe she’d entranced you and now you were stuck with her, even if you didn’t really want to be.
But the truth was that you did, you wanted to be with her every second you could. And though magic never left her hands when she was with you, even her name was magic, the way those two syllables rang beautifully in the air as she formally introduced herself for the first time. She spoke English when she talked to you, but you swore that whatever left her mouth was a language of her own, so elegant, sweet, and charming in a way that no English speaker could replicate.
But, one night, her words twisted into daggers, punctuated syllables sharpening into dangerous ends, the beginning of each sentence like a handle she grabbed and used to hurt you further, twist until it was lodged as deeply into your chest as it could go.
You weren’t sure what you did to make it happen. Maybe it was just a bad night. She was drunk, after all, home from some party with the Avengers that you hadn’t gone to. The two of you had talked it over before, though, both agreeing that it was too soon in your relationship to attend anything where it’d be publicly released, which was why you were confused about why she was cursing you out for abandoning her, not being there when you needed her.
You promised that you’d be sure to go next time. Wanda just turned around, dismissing you without another word. You weren’t sure what was worse, the silence or her words. She somehow missed the tears that streamed down your face.
-
The next day, she knocked on your door. This time, she was the one in tears, the rate at which they fell only increasing when she saw how puffy your eyes were.
“I- I’m sorry,” she bumbled, the sounds tumbling out of her mouth like a barrel coming down the Niagara Falls. She couldn’t have stopped them if she tried. You watched her struggle through an apology, something about her insecurities being magnified as she saw all the other couples around her seemingly happy. She just wanted that. And even though her speech was much more clumsy than the usual effortless diction you were used to hearing from her, you allowed her words to draw you in, provide you shelter from the horrors you’d experienced yesterday, when your heart raced and blood rushed your ears and your palms were so sweaty you couldn’t get a grip on anything. You allowed her arms to draw you in, make you feel safe. You allowed her to bring you home.
---
Wanda saw a side of you that no one had ever seen before. Scratch that, Wanda saw all of you. Where others would’ve looked away or missed the true meaning of your words, she dug deeper. You lived your whole life with a mask on, swapping one out for another to appease those around you. Wanda took them all off.
But she didn’t force them off; she made you want to take them off. You were the one who peeled them off one by one, the experience being extremely unnerving every time you revealed that much more of yourself to her, but you always found yourself relieved at the end. Because she accepted you, she loved you.
Right?
---
You called her once, during a mission. It was something the two of you had been doing ever since you started dating. You would ask how she was doing, make sure she was okay, and she’d do the same for you. Of course, when her missions were off-the-grid you didn’t call, but if the two of you were allowed to stay in contact, she insisted that you guys do so.
“I have to make sure my love is okay,” she’d murmured, just before she left for her first mission since the two of you started your relationship. She was holding you in her arms as the two of you swayed back and forth. Your feet were bare for once, the cold kitchen tile underfoot grounding the both of you. Neither of you had wanted to let go; your hands were clasped firmly together around her waist, and hers rested on top of yours. But eventually, the incessant honking from Tony became too much, and the two of you reluctantly moved apart.
“I’ll call you the second I can, yeah? And make sure you call me in the morning when you wake up.”
“I will,” you nodded as Wanda’s hand came up to brush against your cheek.
But somehow she’d forgotten about your agreement, and nothing but annoyance filled your ear, the phone pressed up against it.
“Y/N, I really don’t have time for this right now.” You sucked in a breath, her tone an instant reminder of that night she’d yelled at you. But that was so long ago. And you hadn’t done anything; there wasn’t a party you’d missed since then, not a moment since then that you’d let her feel alone. Or was there?
“I- I’m sorry,” you stuttered. “Should I call you back later?” All you got was a sigh, doubt and panic filling your chest in the momentary silence.
“We’ll see. Goodbye, milaya.” There was barely a pause in between her voice and the disconnect tone. You weren’t sure if the pet name was sincere or a habit leftover from the good times.
Were you still in the good times?
What went wrong?
Where did you go wrong?
-
She came back from the mission, and all was well again. She spun you around and around, her melodious giggles filling your ears and causing the corners of your mouth to lift. But you couldn’t help your brows from cinching inwards, wondering where this Wanda had been when you’d called. Was it just another fluke, or maybe something you’d imagined?
“I love you, printsessa, so, so much,” Wanda whispered. You loved the way her smooth voice filled your ears, made you feel whole again. Maybe it was the kitchen? Was that the place she felt safe, the place where she felt like she could love you fully? Maybe that’s why she seemed so closed off during the mission. When you didn’t respond, too lost in thought, she spoke up again.
“Detka, d’you know you’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me? I don’t know what I’d do without you.” Her eyes sparkled. No red mist emerged from her fingertips, but you swore Wanda’s essence was magic in and of itself. How could you ever deny her?
You surrendered.
“I love you too. More than anything in the world.”
---
The next day, Wanda woke you up with excitement filling her voice, insisting that you come with her to the compound to pick up some of the things she’d left behind.
“I want to show you off,” she’d laughed as she rolled you over.
“We’ve already met, babe. They love me, you’ve said so yourself,” you groaned. She shook her head as she corralled you into the bathroom.
“You haven’t met all of them! Now c’mon, let’s go!” You agreed, and she was right, there were lots of new people there.
“You must be Y/N, right?” You nodded as you shook the man’s hand.
“I’m Clint. I’ve heard, um, lots about you. And your socks.” The two of you laughed at his joke, but something about his chuckle was off. His smile never quite reached his eyes. Wanda whisked you off too soon for you to figure out why though, bringing you over to a rather large man. No, god, he’s a god. Thor, he said. His name is Thor.
“Hi, I’m Y/N,” you’d responded.
“The love of my life,” Wanda sighed, her voice wispy and dreamy. The god’s eyebrows had raised at that.
“Well, it’s a pleasure to meet you then, Y/N. I didn’t know Wanda was so fortunate as to have a love so strong.” Sometimes you had to remind yourself of that too. “You are very lucky, my friend.” Am I?
-
You exchanged jokes with Natasha, learned of some of Bruce and Tony’s new projects, listened to stories of Thor’s childhood adventures on Asgard; the night went well. Until it didn’t.
You were yanked into a mostly empty room, the door quickly shut behind you. Was that a flash of red you’d seen in the corner of your eye?
“What did you do?” someone hissed. The voice was familiar, but by this point, you weren’t sure if it filled you with dread or joy when you heard it. Was that part of the excitement of your relationship, trying to figure out the complexities of it all, trying to predict which version of your lover you’d get this time?
“I don’t know,” you whispered. “I didn’t do anything, Wanda, I swear!”
“Then why is Clint telling me to break up with you? What did you say to him?” Your head shook, your whole body shook. This was news to you.
“I didn’t say anything. Please, Wan-”
“How am I supposed to believe that, Y/N? Do you really think he’d just make that up out of nowhere?” You tried to find the words, the ones you should say, the ones she’d want you to say. You had nothing. The witch’s anger grew, her hands slamming down on her sides. “God, Y/N! It’s like sometimes I don’t even know who you are!”
But wait, that was how you felt. Wasn’t it? Or had you dreamed that up too? What had you done?
“Wanda, I promise I didn’t do anything. I’ve been friendly to him all night.”
“So you expect me to believe he’s lying, then.” Your eyes fell to her chest, its rise and fall rapid but deep, going up and down several times before she spoke again. “Y/N, he named his child after my brother. Why would he lie to me?” You could do nothing, say nothing to fix this. You weren’t sure exactly what you did, but you’d messed up. Again.
“Maybe he’s right, then.” Her hand ran through her hair, the brown locks that you loved to twist around your own fingers, play with as she laid in your lap, a show playing in the background. You missed those times.
But weren’t you just doing that last night?
You weren’t sure. It seemed like so long ago.
---
Weeks, months, even a year passed. Wanda had apologized for that night at the compound. She’d also apologized for the countless number of other times the two of you had fought since then. But it was okay, you’d thought, because for all those arguments was an equal number of moments where the two of you laughed so hard you couldn’t breathe, slow-danced at 3 AM, used your hairbrushes as microphones to sing concerts for your millions of fans. At least, you thought it was an equal number. Did number matter anyway?
Wanda went from being your girlfriend, to being your fiancé, to being your wife. Like Thor had said, you were “very lucky.” You are very lucky. Because right now, you’re looking down at the stick in your hand, and there are two lines, not one. The two of you had done something so many couldn’t; that was a huge blessing. And now you had to tell Wanda.
Finding the box was harder than you thought, but the other part was much easier. All you had to do was go to the store Wanda had taken you to all that time ago, the small store on the corner. And when the brunette lifted open the lid to find a pair of socks so tiny they could only be for one thing, one person, one baby, she knew. She was ecstatic. You were relieved.
-
Four weeks. Four weeks later from that day was the worst day of your life. Just as quickly as the baby had come, it had gone. He or she was gone. Was it your fault? The doctor had been quick to shut those thoughts down, insisting that there were many factors that could’ve caused the miscarriage, but you certainly weren’t one of them.
But Wanda didn’t talk to you for a whole week, spending the nights in the guest bedroom to avoid you. It was the longest the two of you had gone without speaking. That had to mean something, right?
It did. It meant that it shouldn’t have been a surprise when you came home from work the following Monday to find half of the things missing. All of her things.
The box was still there, though; you saw it out of the corner of your eye. It sat on top of a cabinet, the two socks poking out of the top.
The two of you had fallen in love with those tiny socks faster than you’d fallen in love with each other. They held so much love, so much promise. But now they were empty, devoid of anything they might’ve held just hours before. They were nothing more than a painful reminder of what could have been, what should have been. Meanwhile, your own socks were still on, the same ones Wanda had given to you on your first date. You weren’t sure you could take them off if you tried. Was that a reminder too? Did it have significance?
The ticking of the clock suddenly caught your attention. You had been standing at the doorway for thirty minutes, but what were you supposed to do? Were you supposed to go somewhere? Where would you go? Wanda was gone, not leaving any clue as to where she could’ve run off to, and you were alone.
When was the last time you’d been truly alone?
Didn’t you use to like being alone?
You grabbed your keys. You weren’t sure what you were looking for, but whatever it was, you wouldn’t find it here.
-
You push open the door, always the one on the right. Walk twenty or so steps through the entrance, turn left. Take another left, then walk-
It was different. Completely different. The shelves weren’t the same color, metal had been swapped for wood, the carpet was new; what had happened?
“Y/N, sweetie, is that you?” Mirabelle’s voice. At least she was still here. You turned to face her, taking in her wrinkled face, the tortoiseshell glasses that had been perched on her nose since you met her as a child. “Oh my goodness, it is! We haven’t seen you in ages. We were all so worried.”
“Wha- what happened to the library?” Her kind smile flipped, her lips separated with their corners turning downwards.
“We got a renovation at the end of last year, honey. Didn’t you see it on the news?”
“Right,” you nodded, swallowing again, trying to push down the lump that had been growing in your throat for over an hour. “Um, where’s the world languages section?”
“Upstairs, love. Take two rights and you’ll see it. Enjoy your visit, okay?” You nodded again, pressing your lips into a wavering smile that Mirabelle accepted.
You found the section easily enough, pushing yourself into one of the beanbags that crowded the floor. It was quiet—you supposed not many people came to the library on a late Tuesday afternoon—but something was missing.
No, that wasn’t it. Nothing was missing. Everything had changed, and you couldn’t settle yourself no matter how hard you tried. You couldn’t recognize the white walls or the large windows that surrounded you. You couldn’t recognize the book in your shaking hands; the title read “Little Women,” but it lacked the comfort and familiarity it once brought you. You couldn’t recognize the artwork that hung on the walls, the large signs suspended from the ceiling.
You caught a reflection in the shiny metal of a book cart that lay several feet away from you.
You couldn’t recognize yourself.
When you finally left the library, Mirabelle frowned as she watched you exit the doors, not stopping to check out a book like you always did. No one should ever leave a library empty-handed. You’d forgotten that too.
---
She came back less than a week later, her cheeks tear-stained and her eyes rimmed with red as she stumbled her way through an apology.
“It was a mistake, detka, I promise. I made such an awful mistake, and I’ll never forgive myself. I won’t blame you if you don’t forgive me either.” You stared at her, neither your eyes nor your mouth moving as you tried to take in what she was saying, tried to come up with an adequate response.
Which had changed more, the library or you?
“Please, you’re the only thing that matters in my life. I can’t lose you.” The melody of her once-full voice was broken, the chords fragmented and notes falling out of tune. It was as broken as you’d felt for the past few days. Maybe she understood. But you couldn’t think anymore because you were suddenly in her arms again, her tears soaking your shirt as she sobbed.
The library had been renovated, its modernity and welcoming environment being a major improvement to the once somewhat dilapidated building. You had slipped, your feet wrapped in the socks Wanda had given you as you stumbled down the dark, crooked hallway of your life, trying desperately to get a hand on the wall, grab a solid footing.
You had two options: save yourself or fall.
“Please, Y/N, please. Promise you’ll stay.”
You fell backwards, your head being the first to slam into the floor.
“Of course I’ll stay, Wan. I’d never leave you.”
You weren’t sure if you’d ever get up. After all, changed or not, what’s a library without its books? Who are you without her?

Elain’s Pie {Part 3//Conclusion}
Part 1: Elain’s pov
Part 2: Azriel’s pov
NSFW. 18+.
Shout out to Shelby for writing this with me!
Tumblr media
Azriel stood outside of Elain’s apartment.
He had been standing there for five minutes, at least, unsure of what to do.
Well, he knew what to do.
Knock.
He should knock.
And, usually, knocking would not be a difficult task, but it was the first time he was seeing Elain since…
The incident.
She had invited him to come over for dinner. Coincidentally, pie was for dessert.
Azriel closed his eyes and took a deep breath before knocking on her front door, three times, avoiding the giant floral wreath that hung in the top center.
“Coming!” she heard him call.
His entire body flooded with nerves. As her footsteps approached along the wooden floorboards, Azriel felt like he was going to puke.
He should turn around.
He should go home.
He couldn’t stop imagining her breasts.
Damn it, Azriel, you’re a grown ass man, not some horny teenager with only his hand to-.
Elain opened the door, looking absolutely stunning in a lavender sundress.
“Hey!” she beamed. “Come in, dinner’s almost ready.”
He nodded, and smiled, and walked inside, running a nervous hand through his cropped hair. “Smells good.”
“Yeah?” Elain asked. “Just a simple dinner of roasted chicken and carrots. Nothing fancy.”
Azriel nodded, and realized just how long it had been since he’d been in her apartment. Her pink roses must’ve died. In the middle of her kitchen table, lilies took their place.
Elain chuckled as she swept past him, back into the kitchen. “Take off your shoes, get comfortable. You act like you’re a stranger.”
Azriel cleared his throat and quickly slipped off his Vans. “Sorry, I- I didn’t sleep well last night.”
It wasn’t a lie.
Knowing he was going to Elain’s, he didn’t sleep worth shit.
“How come?” she asked, opening the oven to remove the pan within.
Azriel hesitated. “Not sure,” he lied. “Air conditioning went out. I think I was just hot.”
Elain hummed as she put the hot dishes on top of the stove. The table was already set to perfection, in true Elain fashion, just for the two of them. “There’s a bottle of wine chilling in the freezer. Mind taking it out?”
Azriel nodded and did as she asked. After taking out the bottle of moscato, he found the corkscrew and popped it open. After filling the two glasses on the table, he set it to the side.
“Can I help with anything else?” he asked.
Elain shook her head as she carried a dish of roasted chicken surrounded by vegetables to the table. “Sit. Make yourself comfortable.”
He did as she asked.
Once he was seated at the table, he continued to watch her.
“You’re acting strange,” she said, bustling about the kitchen, adding the finishing touches to their meal.
No, not at all, I’m just wondering if you’re wearing that same scrap of lace under your dress tonight. I just keep thinking about it.
“Just tired, is all,” he lied, but then he slipped in a kernel of truth. “A lot on my mind.”
“Well that’s what dinners with your best friend are for,” she replied, rounding the corner and taking the seat across from him. A soft smile that was so quintessentially Elain bloomed in her lips. “So you can relax and get whatever’s on your mind off of it.”
Looking at those lips, he knew there was no chance in hell he’d be able to get the image of her wearing nearly nothing out of his mind. Or the images his mind had come up with, based on pure creativity of his own.
Luckily for him, she hadn’t left much to the imagination.
“Help yourself, please,” she said, motioning to the plate between them. She took her glass of wine and sipped from the rim. Azriel tracked the movement.
When it was clear he wasn’t moving, Elain set down her glass. “This is awkward, isn’t it?”
“What?” Azriel asked. “No. No, it’s not-.”
“I was afraid this would be awkward, and it’s so awkward,” she said, her cheeks turning pink.
Azriel laughed, quietly. “Elain, it’s not awkward.”
“Then why are you acting so weird?” she asked, meeting his eyes.
Azriel hesitated. “I’m not acting weird.”
“I know you better than anyone,” Elain said, pointedly. “You’re acting weird.”
Azriel looked down at his empty plate, then back up at her. “Maybe we should talk about it.”
They hadn’t talked about it since that first night, since the night Azriel opened his phone to see a sight he never thought he’d have the honor of seeing, and then it was just him joking around to make her feel comfortable and less embarrassed.
Elain nodded, slowly. “Okay. We can talk about it.”
He had suggested they talk about it, yet he had no idea where to start. What exactly to say. He went with the question that had been eating him alive since she explained it wasn’t the picture she meant to send him.
It didn’t explain why the picture existed.
“Why did you even have that picture?” He asked, trying to keep his tone light. He even took a sip of the sweet wine to appear like he wasn’t about to tear out of his skin. “Was it for…someone else?”
They told each other everything. As far as he was aware, she hasn’t been seeing anyone else. Her breakup with Greyson four months ago had been catastrophic enough that she had decided she wanted to be single for a while. Granted, it had been a while, at this point, but he hadn’t heard her talk about a potential beau during any of their dinners, texts or phone calls.
“No!” She blushed, covering her own face. “No, of course not. I never take pictures like that.”
He refrained from telling her that he had seen proof that was a lie, at least once, but let her go on. “I just… I thought I looked good while I was getting dressed that morning. I was…feeling myself.”
Azriel bit his lip to keep from laughing. “Feeling yourself, huh?”
“Yes, feeling myself,” she repeated, and Azriel noted her cheeks had turned a darker shade of pink. “I’d never even taken a picture like that...and I wanted to know what I’d look like on camera.” She shook her head and breathed a laugh. “It was stupid.”
“It’s not stupid,” Azriel said, a little too quickly. Elain raised a brow, and he cleared his throat. “The picture wasn’t stupid. You looked…amazing. Incredibly attractive.”
Elain nibbled on her bottom lip as she said, “Of course you’d think that. I was nude and you’re a man.”
It was a joke, Azriel knew that, but Elain’s voice was far too quiet and insecure for the punchline to really hit.
Azriel just shook his head. “You always look amazing, Elain. I was attracted to you long before I saw you naked.”
There it was.
The confession.
Elain’s lip fell from between her teeth.
Before she could say anything back, he began scooping chicken and vegetables on his plate. “Smells amazing. I’m starving.”
That quickly, he tried to shove what he’d said under the rug.
For a second, she debated pushing him, those words, words she’d never expected to hear from him… They filled her with far more of a thrill than she expected.
So she let him steer the conversation to safer topics, let him drain his own glass and then refill it.
They ate.
They made small talk, talked about their weeks and work and what was going on with their friends. The conversation grew lighter with each word, and that awkwardness they had found themselves in had slowly faded away.
As dinner wrapped up and their plates were cleared, the wine bottle found itself empty.
Elain stood and cleared their plates only to return to the table a moment later with another bottle of wine and dessert.
“I hope you saved room for pie,” she said, setting it down in front of him.
His cheeks heated and he cleared his throat. “Absolutely. Always room for pie.”
The second the words left his mouth he wanted to take them back. Gods, his head was swimming. That was the dumbest thing he could have said, considering.
He could see the smile trying to form as she cut into it and placed a slice on his plate. “Good. I’m proud of this one. It’s a new recipe I found.”
As she leaned over, the dress she wore gave him an unintentional view of her cleavage and he forgot how to breathe. “I’m sure it will be the breast— I mean, best! The best you’ve ever made.”
Mother’s tits, he was hopeless. He was no better than a thirteen-year-old discovering the Internet for the first time. He couldn’t drag his eyes from her cleavage and knew drinking anymore of that sweet wine would land him in so much shit, he would have no idea how to get out of it.
Elain was looking at him. With the smallest, sweetest of smiles, she asked, “Breast?”
“I said best.”
“You said breast.”
“I did not.”
“Are you going to think about my boobs every time I offer you pie?”
Azriel opened his mouth, then shut his mouth just as quickly. “I’m trying not to, but it’s a little hard.”
“It’s a little hard?” she repeated, brows shooting up as she looked down, as if she could see through the tabletop to his jeans.
“No- not- I’m not….it’s hard not to think about…” Azriel sighed, closing his eyes and shaking his head. “Nevermind.”
Elain suppressed the smile on her lips, and when Azriel opened her eyes and met her gaze, the amused expression on her face had him laughing, quietly. She reached over and refilled his glass.
“I’m not mad about it, you know,” she said, quietly.
“About what?” Azriel asked, indulging himself with more wine.
“That you can’t seem to get that picture out of your mind.”
“Good, cause it’s not likely to go anywhere any time soon,” he admitted, thinking back to what else he’d admitted earlier in the night.
She took a drink of her own wine as she sat down next to him, in the spot closer, rather than the seat across the table. “So. Have you ever sent any accidental embarrassing photos of yourself?”
He nearly choked on the bite of pie he’d been taking, and he had to admit, it was pretty damn good. “Have I ever…accidentally sent a dick pic to someone?”
She laughed softly, the sound of it skittering across his bones, and said, “Well, a topless picture of you wouldn’t be nearly as scandalous. So yeah.”
“Never on accident,” Azriel replied, clearing his throat. “Almost did the other night though.”
As soon as the words were out, he wished he could take them back. Especially as he saw her eyes widen.
He was drunk. He must have been so damn drunk to be saying the dumb shit he was saying.
“To me?” she asked, as if she didn’t already know the answer and needed clarification.
“That’s typically the response, isn’t it?” Azriel asked, unable to control the words coming out of his mouth. “You get a naked picture, you send one back. Until you texted saying it was an accident, I was…thinking about it, yeah.”
Elain nodded, slowly, pursing her lips. “And what would it have looked like?”
The words were quiet, hardly audible, but her deep brown eyes were lit up, waiting for his answer.
Azriel hesitated. “I’m not… I don’t know,” he laughed, and a giggle escaped Elain. “It looks like it looks, I guess.”
“That doesn’t give me a lot to create a mental picture,” Elain said.
“Are you trying to create a mental picture?” Azriel asked.
“It’s only fair, isn’t it?” she asked.
Azriel simply lifted a brow.
She took another sip of her wine and shrugged, asking, “You said you thought I was attractive, right?”
He nodded, not trusting his mouth to not say something stupid anymore.
“What if I said I found you attractive, too?” She raised an eyebrow and waited.
Azriel waited, too, not saying a word.
Her grin grew. “What if I told you I’d thought about it before?”
He blinked and choked. “You’ve thought about— Really?”
She laughed, the sound bright and amused. “I showed you mine, you show me yours.”
Azriel stared at her, eyes narrowed. “I feel like this is a trick.”
“It’s not a trick.”
“Are we drunk?”
Elain took a moment to think about it. “I don’t think so.”
Azriel chuckled, knowing full well that she was full of shit. “Fine, you win.”
She raised a brow. “Show me.”
“Patience,” Azriel crooned. “I’m eating my pie.”
Elain leaned over to his plate, dug her finger into the filling and brought it to her lips, sucking it off her fingertip.
Azriel watched her, his heavy breaths going shallow.
“It is delicious,” she said, giving him one of those bright, heart-stopping smiles.
That smile spurred him into motion. Reaching over, he grabbed her wrist and tugged her towards him, meeting her in the middle. The kiss was soft and sweet and it took everything in Azriel not to nibble on that full bottom lip. He felt her fingers grip his collar, pulling him closer to her and he kissed her until she was breathless.
Pulling away, she stood, smirking, and asked, “Are you all done with your pie?”
In answer, Azriel stood and scooped her up, his mouth instantly finding hers, hungrily. Her legs wrapped around his waist, the skirt of her dress sliding up her thighs.
She clung to him, and it felt...right.
He had felt Elain’s arms around him a million times throughout the years, but those were only simple, friendly hugs.
This was something entirely different. This was desperation, heat, an awkward situation had turned into years of emotion tumbling out of them.
I showed you mine, you show me yours.
Oh, he would, he would show her everything, anything she wanted. He was in her grasp, and he didn’t want her to let go.
Azriel stumbled into Elain’s bedroom, his lips still on hers. She bit his bottom lip and tugged and the low growl that escaped Azriel had Elain’s fingers digging into his back.
Azriel dropped Elain onto her bed and she landed, perfectly, her hair spilling into a crown around her head. She watched him, eyes bright.
“Tell me to stop if you don’t want to-.”
“I showed you mine,” she interrupted. “Fair is fair.”
Azriel stepped forward and reached for the hem of his henley, quickly pulling it over his head.
Elain pushed herself up into a sitting position at the foot of her bed and reached out, her fingertips brushing along his inked abdomen.
Azriel held his breath.
Moving her fingers up his abdomen, Elain studied him. When she reached his chest, she began to trace the lines of his tattoos. She would stop at every scar and brush her thumb along it, as if giving it extra recognition and appreciation.
When her hands moved back down, she paused at the waistline of his jeans, riding low on his hips. She traced his happy trail until she ran into the button of his jeans, and slowly undid it, bringing his zipper down just after.
She didn’t wait, didn’t want to waste any more time by teasing him, and tugged his jeans off. He kicked them off, left in just a pair of tight, black boxer briefs.
“You’re sure about this?” Azriel breathed. Not because he didn’t want it, gods, he’d never wanted anything more than he’d wanted Elain. He’d been falling for her for years. But he knew there was a line that was about to be crossed that there was no coming back from.
Smirking, she slid her finger inside the waistband of his underwear, slowly running it back and forth, hip to hip. “Something to hide in there? Is he shy?”
“Absolutely not,” he replied. He was straining against the fabric and he knew Elain could see that.
With a nibble on her bottom lip, she looked up at him beneath lowered lashes and said, “I want to see your cock, Az. I want this.”
The words were the most vulgar thing he’d ever heard from her, and he was so stunned and turned on by them that he could only nod.
She tugged his boxer-briefs down and he sprung free.
Elain stilled as her eyes widened, taking him in. She took a raggedy breath, and Azriel watched every single movement that radiated off of her. The way her eyes took in every inch, the way her lips parted, the way her chest rose and fell in heavy breaths.
She wrapped her hands around his cock before leaning forward and brushing her tongue over the head. Azriel cursed, hardly able to breathe. There were many ways he thought this would go, but her mouth around him?
It wasn’t one of them.
Not that he was complaining.
He sure as hell wasn’t complaining.
His hands were fisted at his sides, terrified that if he moved, if he did anything to frighten her, she’d stop, and right now needed to know what her mouth felt like. He needed to feel the warm wetness and thought he might die if she stopped.
And thank the cauldron, she didn’t.
Elain let her tongue pass over the swollen head again, once, twice, before those full, pink lips wrapped around him.
Azriel was unable to stop the groan as his head fell back, but he forced himself to look down, not wanting to miss a second of her mouth on him.
Her eyes were shut and she kept a hand firm around the base of him as she worked him.
“Fuck, Elain,” he breathed, letting his hand slip into the mass of her golden-brown hair. Her eyes opened and she looked up at him.
Azriel had always loved getting lost in the deep caramel depths of her big, brown eyes. However, there was an entirely different feeling those big, brown eyes gave him as they eyed him through her long, dark lashes while her lips were wrapped around his cock.
And with her lips wrapped around his cock, and her eyes on his, Elain slid the straps of her dress down until it was a pool of lavender fabric around her knees.
Her lips let him go with a soft pop. “Do you want to fuck me, Azriel?”
With every word, her breath was warm against his sensitive skin. She slowly stood, her hands trailing along his skin as she did so. Once she stood, Elain slipped off her bra, then slid down her panties.
The only part of Elain he had yet to see was now on full display.
Quietly, she laid back on her bed and spread her legs open wide before motioning Azriel to come toward her. The breath was knocked out of him as he cursed, and his knees hit the bed as he studied Elain’s perfectly shaved, pretty pink pussy.
With a growl he’d never heard come out of himself, Azriel lined himself up at her entrance.
She gripped the sheets beneath her, and Azriel gripped her hips.
“Ready?” he asked, quietly.
Her cheeks were rosy. “Yes, please-.”
There was a knock on the door.
Azriel’s head swung around. “The fuck was that?”
Elain blinked. “What was what? Azriel, fuck me-.”
That knock came, once again.
“Azriel,” Elain pleaded. “Fuc-.”
That knock came again, and Azriel’s eyes shot open.
Elain wasn’t spread out before him, begging him to fuck her. He wasn’t in her bedroom, he wasn’t even in her house.
No, as Azriel blinked, his surroundings became clearer and he sat up, looking around his own living room.
He’d fallen asleep on his couch after work, his quick, shitty dinner of frozen pizza and a Jack and Coke still sitting on the coffee table.
And his cock was incredibly, painfully hard.
He fell back against the cushioned arm rest, dragging a hand down his face.
It’s was dream. It had all just been a damn dream and—.
Another knock came from the door and he realized that that had been what pulled him from the most amazing dream he’d ever had, right before he’d been about to fuck Elain.
Before he’d been about to fuck his best friend.
“Az?” a familiar, high-pitched voice called. “Are you okay? I thought I saw your truck in the lot.”
Elain.
He looked down to the pitched tent just below the waistband of his sweatpants. “Fuck,” he muttered. “Hey! I, uh, I’m coming.”
No, he wasn’t.
And that was the real problem on so many different levels. He stood, and with his eyes closed, he took a couple of deep breaths.
Dead puppies. The end of The Notebook. Bad whiskey.
As he walked toward the front door, Azriel continued to think of things that made him sad, hoping his dick would get its shit together before he opened the door.
“Az, it’s raining!” Elain yelled, and he could hear the laughter in her voice.
A sound that made all the sad things Azriel was trying to think about completely vanish.
When he decided that little Azriel was calm enough, he opened the door. Elain stood on his doormat, rain drops falling onto her hair, in jeans and a t-shirt.
“Sorry,” he said, unable to control his grin. “I didn’t know you were coming by.”
“I texted you about an hour ago,” she said, as he stepped aside to let her in.
“I accidentally fell asleep on the couch,” he said, tossing a thumb over his shoulder. In the process, he highlighted his piss poor meal.
She laughed. “It’s a good thing I brought this then,” she said, lifting the dish in her hands.
He somehow hadn’t even noticed it, but he froze and asked, “Brought what?”
Elain’s cheeks turned a deep shade of pink as she set the dish down on his kitchen table. “It, uh, is an apology pie.”
Azriel stopped on the other side of his table and chuckled. “I’m sorry, it’s a what?”
Elain sighed and covered her face with her hands. “This is an I’m sorry I sent you a picture of my breasts pie.”
Azriel couldn’t help his laughter. “Do people usually make pies for such occasions?”
“I do,” Elain replied, taking the lid off her dish. “And be happy about it, because it’s apple, and it’s going to be delicious.”
Azriel watched her for a moment before he nodded and went to retrieve two plates and forks. When he turned back around, Elain was watching him.
“I…thought this would be awkward,” Elain confessed as Azriel sat across from her at the table.
“Why?” Azriel asked, cutting the pie. “Cause I’ve seen your tits?”
Elain’s face turned as red as a tomato as she kicked his shin under the table. “I just… I don’t want this to change anything, you know? You’re my best friend, Az. You’re the one steady thing in my life and I don’t want that changing.”
“I’m not going anywhere,” he promised, plopping a massive piece of pie onto his plate. “It’s already forgotten about, alright? I haven’t even thought about that picture once.”
Elain lifted a brow. “Are you lying?”
“I would never lie to you,” he said, lying through his teeth. He’d thought about that picture every day, both when he was awake and, apparently, while he slept, too.
“Good,” Elain said, helping herself to the dessert.
Without another word on the subject, Azriel helped himself to Elain’s pie.

[CN] Victor’s Business Exhibition Date
🍒 Warning: This post contains detailed spoilers for a date, 企展之约, which has not been released in EN 🍒
Tumblr media
[ This date was released on 16 July 2021 ]
After a meal on this weekend afternoon, I’m nestled on the sofa, watching a new episode of an anime.
MC: Hahahaha!
Watching the comical antics of the main character on-screen, I can’t help but laugh out loud.
“Whoosh--”
Hearing the rustling of papers from behind, I subconsciously shut my mouth, my line of sight flitting past the sofa and landing on Victor.
Tumblr media
He’s sitting at the dining table, a look of concentration on his face while he reads a report. The small dining table is full of documents.
I had initially planned to watch movies with Victor at my place today. I didn’t expect him to be so bogged down with work lately, and unable to relax over the weekend.
MC: Victor, am I disturbing you? Why don’t you use the study room or my bedroom instead?
Without lifting his head, he props up the spectacles on the bridge of his nose.
Victor: Who was the one who wanted to “stick” together with me over the weekend?
MC: ...that’s true, but you’re focusing on work now.
He has no intention of continuing the conversation. Rubbing my nose guiltily, I head into the kitchen quietly. After cutting some fruits, I bring them over to the dining table.
MC: In that case, I’ll apologise to CEO Victor~
Sticking a toothpick into an apple slice, I bring it to him. He tilts his head up slightly, taking a bite from the apple in my hand.
From my peripheral vision, I spot an invitation card with the words “Elementary and Middle School Students” on it. Curious, I take a closer look.
MC: “Corporate Culture Exhibition for Elementary and Middle School Students”? Is LFG participating in the Corporate Culture Exhibition?
Tumblr media
Victor: We received the invitation and haven’t decided if we’re participating.
MC: I see... I’ve never heard of this exhibition.
Victor: The government organised it this year.
Victor: The officials said that it’s meant to introduce elementary and middle school students to outstanding occupations and various career paths to help them establish their aspirations.
MC: This exhibition seems pretty meaningful. It’s beneficial to LFG’s business image too.
MC: Come to think of it, I wonder if little kids have an understanding of LFG, and what kind of impression they have of LFG?
MC: Oh yes! There was a news report on elementary and middle schoolers going on company tours. Does LFG want to organise a similar activity?
Ideas come one after another in my mind. I rattle on about my opinions, but Victor doesn’t express anything.
When I start making an inventory of the company tour for students, the pen in his hand pauses, and he lifts his eyes slowly.
Victor: I can consider the exhibition, but not the company tour.
MC: Why not?
His deep eyes sweep over the anime on the television screen before landing on me.
Tumblr media
Victor: There’s already one very noisy kid in LFG.
-
In the end, Victor accepts the invitation to the Corporate Culture Exhibition. The exhibition commences as scheduled.
Out of interest, I offer my services to Victor. I become a volunteer responsible for decorations at the venue.
Seeing the detailed and vivid posters introducing various occupations in the exhibition hall, the LFG employees next to me are slightly awed.
LFG Employee A: It’s really nice that we have the chance to understand different occupations. When I was young, I thought there were only astronauts and scientists in the world.
LFG Employee B: Even if you only knew of those careers when you were young and decided on an aspiration, it might not become reality when you grow up. I wanted to be a dancer, but I’m doing something completely unrelated to the arts now.
LFG Employee A: That’s true. If it weren’t for the excellent pay in LFG, I’d probably be at my old home opening a second-hand bookshop and retiring early. Oh yes, MC, what did you want to do when you were young?
Getting pointed out suddenly while engrossed in their discussion causes me to be stunned momentarily.
MC: When I was young...
I blink, recalling somewhat faraway memories. Before I can ponder deeply, my phone rings - it’s a call from Victor.
Tumblr media
Victor: Come to the café near the entrance of the exhibition hall.
MC: Now? What for?
Victor: ...what else can you do in a café? Play golf, amend proposals, go horse riding, drink coffee - which one do you think is the most suitable?
MC: ...to be honest, I can’t decide between the two options of “amend proposals” and “drink coffee”.
Victor: I ordered a custard cake. If you don’t come over, I’ll take it that you’re not interested.
MC: I’ll be there immediately!
After notifying those LFG employees, I turn around and head towards the café.
MC: Is this really okay? The others are still busy.
Victor: When did you have such a high sense of awareness? Who was the person who painstakingly learnt “Slacking Hacks” on the internet a few days ago?
MC: I was reading that for fun... I wasn’t planning to put it into practice.
Lifting my phone as I squeeze into the packed café, I notice that most of the people here are parents who are preparing to accompany their kids to the exhibition.
Victor: There’s still an hour till the exhibition begins. I’ve already told Goldman to inform everyone to take a break. In short, there’s no need to feel guilty, because...
Taking two steps into the café, I spot Victor at a glance as he sits at a table near the window calmly.
Seeing that I’m walking towards him, he puts down his phone gently, lifting his head to meet my eyes.
Tumblr media
Victor: Aside from you, there’s another person who’s “slacking”.
Taken aback for a moment, I quickly react to the meaning in his words. My brows arch upwards as I take a seat.
MC: I didn’t expect to ever “slack” together with CEO Victor.
Elated, I pick up a fork and try a bite of the dessert in front of me. The custard melts in my mouth instantly, and it’s sweet and smooth.
MC: Delicious! As expected of CEO Victor’s pick~
Tumblr media
Victor: Even delicious food can’t stop you from being talkative.
Right after saying this, he seems to stare at me fixedly, his expression slightly strange.
Tumblr media
Just as I’m about to ask why he’s looking at me that way, he lifts up his coffee, his lowered eyelashes covering the smile in his eyes.
...am I overthinking things? Why do I feel as if he’s making a joke out of me?
Feeling puzzled, I notice a pen and a post-it booklet at the edge of the table.
MC: This is...?
A staff who is passing by takes a step forward, smiling as he explains.
Staff: This is a small event by our shop. You can write your hopes or suggestions for the children, then hang it on the “Hope Tree” near the door of the shop.
Struck with an idea, I pick up the pen and a post-it note.
MC: Victor, shall we write a few suggestions for the children too?
I tear a post-it note and give it to him. After staring at me in silence for a while, he suddenly reaches out his hand.
Tumblr media
Victor: Give me one more.
MC: ?
MC: Does CEO Victor want to write a mini essay?
Ignoring my joke, he writes a sentence on each of the two post-it notes. He hands one to the staff, and stuffs the other one to me.
Bewildered, I sweep a glance at the post-it note given to the staff. The words “You only have one life” are written on it.
Lowering my head, I stare at the post-it note in my own hand. In an instant, I realise why he displayed such a strange smile earlier. There’s a short sentence written on the post-it note:
“Dummy, there’s custard on your cheek.”
??: Hello, could I trouble the two of you to help me with something?
My face reddens. After wiping the custard off my cheek with a tissue, I hear an unfamiliar female voice next to me.
Turning towards the sound, I see a lady standing beside me with two small boys.
Woman: I need to use the washroom, but bringing two boys with me isn’t really convenient. Could I trouble the both of you to take care of them for a while?
I ask for Victor’s opinion with my gaze, and he responds with a slight nod. Understanding this, I nod at the mother.
MC: Of course we can.
While thanking us, she gets the two children to sit at both ends of the table before hurrying off.
The table now comprises of the four of us - two adults and two children. The air gets filled with an inexplicable, thick awkwardness.
Victor looks at me. I look at the kids. The kids look at Victor... Clearing my throat, I decide to break this strange atmosphere.
MC: Kids, how old are the both of you?
Kid A: Mommy said that we can’t give personal information to strangers!
MC: ...
I didn’t expect to be given the cold shoulder the moment I opened my mouth. I release an embarrassed laugh.
MC: Personal information... You can use such advanced terms. You’re so smart haha.
Tumblr media
A soft and low chuckle drifts to my ears. I glance at Victor as he picks up his coffee with a blank expression, staying uninvolved in the matter.
The other boy suddenly widens his eyes and leans towards me, pointing at my volunteer name tag and reading it aloud.
Kid B: L! F! G! Do you two work in LFG?
MC: Well...
I ponder over this. LFG is the investor of my company, and Victor is the CEO of LFG. So...
MC: I guess so.
Kid B: In that case, what are the two of you doing here? Did you sneak away?
MC: ...
Although these are unintentional words from a child, I avert my eyes guiltily. At this point, the kid who behaves like an adult speaks loudly.
Kid A: That’s impossible! Mommy said that everyone who works at LFG are really incredible people! They won’t sneak away!
Tumblr media
Victor: Cough...
Victor pauses his sampling of the coffee. As though he choked on something, he clears his throat.
Kid B: Really?
The kid blinks his eyes as he waits for our response.
Tumblr media
Victor’s expression is a little unnatural. He picks up a newspaper from a rack near the window, immersing himself in it.
Seeing him like this, he probably recalled the earlier conversation we had on “slacking” as well.
It’s rare to see Victor being choked up by someone. A little demon with horns suddenly appears in my heart.
I can’t help but laugh inwardly while turning to the kids.
MC: You’re correct. The employees from LFG never sneak away. We were talking about work-
MC: Right, Vic?
[Note] In CN, MC calls Victor “小李” (“xiao li”, which translates directly to Little Li).
Saying this, I wink at the person opposite me.
Tumblr media
Victor arches his brows, astonishment in his eyes. Without waiting for him to speak, I immediately do a “stop” gesture with my hands.
MC: The previous proposal for the show is too conservative. There aren’t any highlights, and it isn’t clear who the target audience is. It might be a waste to show it during prime time.
Adjusting my posture, I clasp my fingers on the table, mimicking VIctor’s tone and expression.
MC: When will you be submitting the new proposal? Tomorrow is the deadline.
Kid A and B: Wow...
Awed gasps from the kids drift to my ears. I straighten up with pride, tilting my chin towards Victor.
Tumblr media
He stares at me with a calm gaze, his eyes gradually illuminated with an unreadable, dense light.
He lowers the newspaper slightly, blowing the coffee in his hand gently and unhurriedly.
Victor: Are you sure these are the only problems, Miss CEO?
Victor: I've also “reflected” much on that proposal, and there are some problems I haven’t had the chance to tell you about.
Victor: Since you brought it up, I have no choice but to do a “self-reflection” here.
Victor’s tone is composed, and there isn’t a ripple in his expression. As compared to my pretentious posture, he’s laid-back and natural.
Victor: The theme of the show is too general and lacks a segment which stirs the audience.
Victor: The structure also has the shadow of previous shows. A change in form but not substance - it’s a little unoriginal.
Victor: A scandal broke out yesterday involving one of the guests for the show. A replacement guest has not been decided upon.
Victor: Also...
MC: Stop! I... I get it!
He leans against the back of the chair, a teasing glint in the depths of his eyes.
Victor: When will you be submitting the new proposal? Tomorrow is the deadline.
MC Tonight, tonight! I’ll definitely submit it tonight!
I reply instantly, my voice carrying with it some alarm. The corners of his lips hook upwards, and he retracts his “overbearing” aura.
Victor: I’ll wait and see.
I heave a sigh of relief, then feel a dryness in my mouth. Lowering my head to take a sip of coffee, I see the disappointed gazes of the two kids.
My cheeks flush. Just as I’m about to say something to salvage some pride, their mother returns, thanking us while taking them away.
I glare at Victor indignantly. He chuckles softly, then clasps his fingers together on the table just like I did earlier.
Tumblr media
Victor: I look forward to your next “challenge”.
-
After the exhibition ends, Victor and I leave work early.
The weather is really nice today. We pick a restaurant nearby, planning to head there on foot.
Dusk hangs low, and a misty pink evening mist smudges the sky.
Perhaps due to how smoothly the exhibition went, little emotions surface in my heart.
Beneath this beautiful sky, how many young aspirations and lives took flight earlier?
Tumblr media
Victor: Why are you just standing there in a silly daze? Aren’t you hungry?
Retracting my thoughts, I see that Victor has stopped in front of me, his body turned to the side as he looks at me.
I hurriedly catch up to him, pulling on his arm.
MC: Victor, why did you write “You only have one life” on the post-it note today?
Victor: It’s true that you only have one life. Even an elementary student knows this principle.
MC: ...that’s not what I meant. I’m asking about what’s implied in it. For instance, are you asking the kids to seize the day and work their hardest?
His gaze lands on me. Seeing how serious I look, he slows down his pace slightly.
Victor: If you were to meet your childhood self, would you tell her to work her hardest?
MC: Mm... it’s difficult to say. I might tell her what to do in order for the current me to be even happier?
Victor: And that the reason why you can’t use an overly objective and rational principle to teach others.
Victor: It’s a desirable trait to work their hardest so that there won't be any excuses to stop in their footsteps.
Victor: But this doesn’t mean that everyone must have the goal of working their hardest.
Victor: After all, every person expects different things from themselves.
Victor: Not everyone wants to stand at the peak.
Victor: As compared to looking down from a mountaintop, there are some people who wish to happily and simply appreciate the scenery along the way.
Victor: This might sound simple, but being an ordinary person isn’t easy.
Victor: “You only have one life” - this phrase has many meanings in different contexts.
I’m stunned for a moment. I initially thought that Victor’s words were meant to be a motivational quote, and didn’t expect for him to have such thoughts.
Even when he’s faced with young children, he doesn’t wish to give a fixed answer on the basis that he’s a mature adult.
My lips curl upwards, and I can’t help but stick a little closer to him.
MC: You’re right. After all, aside from people who stand at the peak, there are even more ordinary people.
MC: Ordinary people have one life too. They need to cherish it properly, and do what they want to do.
MC: CEO Victor, I’ve learnt something from you!
Tumblr media
Clasping my hands together, I bow in mock seriousness. An almost indiscernible smile lifts the corners of his lips.
MC: Come to think of it, I had so many aspirations when I was young. Lawyer, teacher, police officer, judge... I didn’t expect to become a producer in the end. Perhaps in a parallel universe, there’s a me who became a lawyer, teacher or judge!
The scene from the café flashes across my mind, and I burst into laughter.
MC: I might even be a CEO! What do you think?
After I say this, Victor turns his head and gives me an amused glance.
Tumblr media
Victor: I think you do behave like a CEO.
MC: It’s because I’ve been influenced after spending such a long time by your side~ Returning to the topic - what was your aspiration when you were young? To become a powerful business tycoon?
Tumblr media
Victor: ...have you ever heard of a child having such a pragmatic dream?
MC: In that case, tell me about it?
He doesn’t respond, and simply keeps his eyes faced front. No matter how much I probe, he doesn’t speak.
The sweet fragrance of desserts wafts into my nose. Following the scent and turning to the bakery near the roadside, I’m struck with an idea.
Since I can’t crack this difficult question in a straightforward manner, I decide to adopt the process of elimination.
MC: A baker?
Tumblr media
Victor: ...
A signboard with the words “Watchmaker Shop” enters my vision, and I immediately look at him.
MC: A watchmaker?
MC: The boss of a lottery shop?
MC: ...director of a zoo?
Throughout the journey, I rack my brain and ask him about all sorts of occupations. However, it’s clear that none of them are correct.
Finally, we stop in front of a crosswalk, waiting for the red light.
Looks like I won’t be able to get any answers from him today. Disappointed, I let go of Victor’s arm, releasing a soft “hmph”.
MC: Aren’t you curious if there was a choice and you weren’t the CEO of LFG, and if I weren’t a producer...
MC: What would our identities be? Would we meet? And what kind of a relationship would we have?
The red man at the other end of the road suddenly turns green, signalling for us to move forward.
My hand, which had drooped to the side, is lifted up gently by someone. His broad palm conveys a comforting temperature.
Tumblr media
Victor: There’s nothing to be curious about.
The crowd flows past in an endless stream on the crosswalk. Their footsteps are hurried, and the tips of their feet point in different directions.
I look at the person beside me. His gaze is resolute as he holds my hand, taking large strides towards the restless crowd.
He seems to sense my gaze. Lowering his head slightly, the light in his eyes is deep and scorching.
Victor: The life that I want to choose most is already in my hand.

Victor's Post: Turns out someone could still go to work normally after staying up to watch anime last night.
MC: Could we cancel tonight’s reservation at the restaurant? I really want to go straight home to sleep...
Victor: Eating is a necessity. The location will be changed to your home.
-
Victor's Post: Turns out someone could still go to work normally after staying up to watch anime last night.
MC: As long as I’m hardworking enough, nothing’s impossible!
Victor: Working hard to make yourself even more stupid?
-
Victor's Post: Turns out someone could still go to work normally after staying up to watch anime last night.
MC: I solemnly vow not to do such things again.
Victor: This vow better count before you start on the next anime.

just kidding, m | jjk
pairing(s): jungkook x reader
summary: There was a time where you would be out partying, getting drunk and fucking up a storm. But you’re different now. You stopped drinking. Now you’re the one waiting for Kim Taehyung to call so you can pick him up from his drunken adventures. There’s just one small hitch – Taehyung’s roommate, Jeon Jungkook, offering you a mojito.
warnings: rated M (18+) for language, (a little) alcohol consumption; slight crack at the start lol; smut (fem reader, thigh riding, handjob, fingering, m-receiving oral); non-idol!AU; Jungkook is a tempter and he knows it; noona!reader and you’re a nympho, whoops
--
“I don’t drink.”
“Oh.”
Jeon Jungkook blinked at you, holding out the mojito.
“But… I made it.”
“That’s true. But I don’t drink.”
He pursed his lips and frowned.
“You sure?” he asked, putting on his best puppy eyes.
“Yup.”
“I promise it’s not poisoned.”
You laughed, jangling your car keys. “I have to drive later. But also, I do not drink.”
He nodded and took a sip of it. “It’s really smooth.”
You smiled and went back to your phone. Kim Taehyung was supposed to text you in a bit so you could pick him up from a party. In exchange, he let you borrow his computer to play League of Legends since he had a better PC and internet than your apartment. There was an event going on, so you had to grind games. You were getting tired though and you didn’t want to be in the middle of a game when Taehyung called half-drunk.
Now you were sitting on the couch, as Taehyung’s roommate Jeon Jungkook stood there and took sips from his mojito. Just standing there, thinking. He did that a lot, drifting off into space randomly. You figured it was some sort of weird habit. He was wearing a striped black-and-white turtleneck and black leather pants. His cheek-length black hair was pinned back on the right side, revealing his undercut. It seemed like he was going out, but he had spent all night in his room before going to the kitchen and then appearing with said mojito. Why? Honestly, you had no idea.
“Are you going somewhere?” you asked, looking up at him from the sofa.
Jungkook snapped out of it and stared at you. “What?”
You pointed to his outfit. “You’re dressed all fancy.”
Jungkook looked down. “Oh. Uh, not really. I was going to go with Taehyung tonight but I had an assignment to finish that I forgot about. I never changed.”
You nodded. Hm.
Okay.
“How do you know Taehyung-ssi, anyway, noona?”
“I sucked his dick once.”
Jungkook nearly dropped his glass.
You calmly scrolled through Instagram. You flickered your eyes up to see Jungkook’s shocked face and his red ears.
“I’m kidding,” you chuckled, seeing Jungkook blink rapidly to collect himself. “I used to be the Biology lab TA. He’d ask for help a lot. And he plays League, so we ended up hanging out. Also, I have a car.”
“R-right…” Jungkook crab-walked to the armchair next to the sofa and sat down, placing his drink on the table. “Right, yeah.”
You two sat in silence, rather comfortable for you, rather awkward for Jungkook. You didn’t come here that often, but it was always only to borrow Taehyung’s internet or to pick him up from random outings. It was never a big deal to you, as Taehyung was always nice and bought you food later as thanks. As for Jeon Jungkook, he was just kind of there. Introverted, quiet, sometimes piped up to inquire about something when he was curious. You weren’t exactly talkative, but he didn’t bother you either, so it was never too memorable.
“What’s on your shirt?” Jungkook asked, tilted his head.
You lifted your phone to give him a better look at the nine-pointed star and bleeding goat head of your long-sleeved black shirt. “It’s an American metal band.”
Jungkook blinked at you. “You listen to metal?”
You put your phone back down. “Yup.”
You suddenly remembered your legs were wide open because you were wearing your black velvet pants and they were hot as fuck. Wearing these was a mistake. You closed your legs and settled them on the couch. They had been expensive though, so you felt like you had to wear them to get your money’s worth. Damnnit. Why did you buy these again?
“Why don’t you drink alcohol?”
You closed Instagram and opened Twitter. “Because I become sexually uninhibited.”
Silence.
You looked up to see Jungkook trying to process what you said, imaginary question marks popping on top of his head.
“It means I fuck anything with legs, Jungkook.”
His brown doe eyes went wide. “W-what?”
You shrugged. “Yeah, you know, one time one of my friends caught me in a room with my clothes off blowing three guys at once, so I figured, hmm, maybe I shouldn’t drink anymore. That ever happen to you?” you added nonchalantly.
Jungkook shook his head so quickly his long black hair floated in the air.
“Huh. Well, me neither,” you chuckled. “I was just kidding.”
Jungkook looked like a mother who was trying to process all of their child’s sex escapades. “That’s good then. Whew,” he remarked with an awkward laugh. He took another long, hasty sip of his mojito.
“It was four guys.”
Jungkook nearly choked. He snapped his head up to see your shoulders shaking as you tried to contain your snickering, hiding behind your phone. He glared at you, clearing his throat sharply.
“You shouldn’t lie, noona,” he muttered, frowning.
You lowered your phone and straightened. “I was laughing at your expression. I wasn’t lying.”
He narrowed his eyes, disbelieving. “About what part?” he said warily.
“I do not drink because I will literally try to fuck anyone in my immediate vicinity when I’m drunk,” you stated in a matter-of-fact tone. “You can imagine it’s not very good for my sexual health or my social life as I stumble out of a party covered in cum of four guys I don’t know.”
Jungkook was in the middle of drinking his mojito and swallowed so hard the entire drink disappeared into his throat.
“What?” he wheezed out, slamming his chest with his fist.
You put your hands up. “It happens.”
Jungkook looked as if he as going to pass out, either from the image or from drinking too fast. You picked up your phone again and set Taehyung a text.
Are you dead? I think I killed your roommate.
Jungkook shook his head vigorously. “You must be joking.”
“Nope, that actually happened. Ask Taehyung.”
Jungkook looked taken aback. “What?” he said again in the same panicked tone.
“I told you someone found me.”
You swore that if this was the Wild West, a tumbleweed would have drifted by. Jungkook looked as white as a sheet. You calmly plucked the glass from his hand since it seemed like he was rapidly losing focus of his surroundings.
“How… That’s so dangerous!” Jungkook sputtered, seemingly coming back to life.
“Indeed, which is why I am sitting here right now and not piss drunk in a random bedroom in someone’s house,” you replied calmly, waiting for Taehyung to text you back. “See, this is why you don’t offer me a drink because then I would try to fuck you. You’ve been spared.”
Jungkook gave you a very strange expression and suddenly crossed one leg over the other. You rubbed your eyes. Hopefully Taehyung didn’t stay out too late. You were getting sleepy.
“Well, you still have to be attracted to them, r-right?” Jungkook commented, looking away and biting his knuckle.
You didn’t look up from your phone.
“I suppose. I don’t really have a type, and when you’re drunk you only look at the parts you’re attracted to anyway and forget about anything else,” you responded, chuckling at a cute cat picture. “At least you’re attractive, so if I met you at a party drunk, I’d fuck you, easy.” Owls could sit cross-legged? What? You squinted at the meme, trying to see if it was Photoshopped.
Silence. Absolute fucking silence.
You decided that it seemed unlikely the photo of this sitting owl was Photoshopped and lifted your head to see Jungkook staring at you like you had three heads.
“What?”
“You’re…” Jungkook chuckled awkwardly. “Just kidding, right?”
You blinked. “What? About you being attractive?” You pointed to him. “No. I’m not. You’re handsome, Jungkook.”
You saw his ears turning red once again. “Ahaha… but you wouldn’t fuck me, right?”
“I would.”
A crow cawed loudly outside the window.
Jungkook wasn’t blinking. Was he dead? Was Taehyung going to come home to a statue of a roommate? You tilted your head and waved your hand in front of his face. Jungkook didn’t move. Maybe he went into shock.
“Jungkook? You alive in there?” you asked, waving your hand some more.
He blinked rapidly, startling you. “I… I…”
Okay, now he was scaring you. Was he broken? Did Taehyung have an A.I. for a roommate and not tell you? Taehyung, please come home and oil your Jungkook, you thought dryly as you watched him scrunch up his nose, as if he was trying to stretch his face muscles out.
“You surprised me,” Jungkook sputtered, nervously rubbing the back of his head. “I just… there’s no way…”
“That I would fuck you?” you replied, completely chill. He turned even redder. You placed a hand on your cheek and rested your elbow on the couch. “Why not? You’re cute, have nice fashion sense, seem like a decent guy.”
Yeah, Jungkook was definitely breaking down because he did not seem to know how to form proper sentences anymore. He was like a fish out of water, opening and closing his mouth awkwardly.
“But, I couldn’t though.” You cut off his attempts to fathom a thought. He stiffened, his doe eyes shifting to you. “Because you’re Taehyung’s friend, not a stranger. I try not to mess up my friendships, you know?”
He swallowed thickly. “R-right.”
You removed your hand from your cheek and cracked your neck, leaning back against the plushy couch arm. Sheesh, where was Taehyung? You could have played an entire ARAM in the time he was messing about. He told you around this time, but perhaps he had run late. Oh well.
“But… if he doesn’t know…”
Hold up.
You lifted your head, slowly, slowly to Jungkook’s nervous stare and shifty eyes.
“I mean, if Taehyung doesn’t know… doesn’t count, right?” he asked innocently.
His dark hair obscured part of his angular face, pink lips slightly parted. His eyes were watching your every move like a hawk, brows furrowed slightly. The living room light reflected off his glowing tan skin and the glossiness of his lips.
If you don’t stop looking like that, you thought. There’s going to be consequences.
“Let’s not tread dangerous waters here,” you said quietly.
One of his dark eyebrows quirked upwards ever-so-slightly. “How is it dangerous? Taehyung’s going to call you when he needs to be picked up. He’s going to see the inside of your car before he even sees the inside of this apartment.”
Uh oh. Now your heart was beating fast. Fuck. Fuckity fuck. Alcohol made you sexually uninhibited because you really, really enjoyed having sex. Far too much. But you couldn’t go through life fucking everything with legs (or without them – to be honest, it wasn’t that strict of a requirement) because, hello, societal standards? Social appropriateness of maybe not fucking the cashier at your favorite coffee spot or your friend’s roommate in his apartment? You know, you had to be a productive human being and not a damn nympho. Wasn’t like you were getting paid for it.
Jungkook lifted his leg from his knee and spread them, tilting his chin upward.
Oh ho?
Well, now you knew why Jungkook crossed his legs, because a very obvious bulge was struggling in his leather pants. Where was embarrassed Jungkook? Shocked Jungkook? The Jungkook that was stunned at your crude words and straightforward manner?
Give him back. This is too much.
Perhaps you had been a little too frank for once – ah, who are you kidding, you’d probably been in this situation before.
Jungkook’s right hand slid up his thigh, long fingers with tiny, delicate tattoos, tracing the contours of his muscular quads. You tilted your head as he danced his fingers along his inner thigh before spreading them over his bulge and cupping it, stroking slowly through the thick fabric as he licked his lips.
“I am not drunk enough for this,” you muttered.
“Are you scared?” Jungkook asked softly, still palming himself through his pants. “Scared Taehyungie will be mad at you?” You felt a muscle in your face twitch. It seemed that he knew he was getting the better of you, because his voice was dropping low, sultry. You did not like being challenged, because well… you always tried to rise to the challenge. To your detriment, sometimes.
“Is Taehyung the boss of you?”
Fuck.
You snapped your head at him, narrowing your eyes.
“No one is the boss of me,” you replied icily.
Jungkook softened his features, laying his head back in the armchair. His hair curled around his cheek as his breathing deepened. His teeth caught his lower lip and gradually released it, the pink flesh popping back into place. The tiny mole under his lip trembled.
“Then do whatever you want, noona.”
Your eyes narrowed to slits, nails digging into your palms.
“What’s gotten into you?”
Jungkook’s voice was a smokey wisp, soaking into you.
“Just imagining you on your knees, naked, covered in cum…” He groaned, rocking his hips into his hand. “Sounds so fucking hot.”
Well. It had been. It was fucking hot, it made you wet just thinking about that night. It had felt amazing as the cum dripped down your skin, covering you, making you filthy with your sinful lust, so delicious and raw and dirty that right now you sat up, spreading your legs again because the space between your thighs was too fucking hot, too fucking much. Stupid velvet pants.
You got up from the couch, eyes still on Jungkook, his pupils dilating, tongue tracing the outskirts of his lips. He leaned his head back a little and moaned your name, long and lustful, eyelids fluttering. His dark hair brushed against his brows.
“Stop,” you breathed, reaching down to push your shirt up. Your fingers hovered over the button of your pants. Too hot. Too fucking hot. “You’re doing this on purpose. You’re tempting me.”
The side of his lips curved upward into a lazy smirk.
“I am.”
You placed your phone on the coffee table. The sound was on. Taehyung still hadn’t texted you. You would hear it vibrate against the wood. You took another step, unbuttoning your pants. Fuck. Why was Jungkook so sexy? You could resist if he wasn’t so damn hot.
“Don’t want you to think…” You swallowed; throat tight. “Don’t want you to think I’m treating you like a sex object.” The zipper of your pants slid down. “Because you seem like a nice guy.”
He smiled, undoing his pants too, sighing as the zipper freed his bulge.
“If I was your sex object…” Jungkook purred, pushing his tight leather pants down, down. “Even for only a little bit, I wouldn’t hold it against you, noona.”
Now your velvet pants were being peeled off your hips, leaving you in your seamless black panties. Oh, fuck, his thighs. Muscular and powerful, skin so pretty you wanted to touch. His eyes slid down your body.
“Holy shit, your thighs.”
Seemed like you both had the same idea. You climbed onto Jungkook’s lap, straddling one of his thighs. Now he was close to you, smelling like fresh linen, presence so warm and powerful you were being drugged by it. Your hands slid onto his shoulders, gripping them finger by finger, breathing hard as he tensed them. Slowly, you sat down on his left thigh, gasping as your soaked, clothed heat touched him. He grinned, flexing it under you. His own hand slid up your thigh, squeezing it, watching his fingers sink into your softness.
“Now, this,” Jungkook breathed, staring into your eyes. “This is a sexy body.”
Your heart was beating so fast, so fast. He watched you closely, eyes so dark that you felt like you were drowning in them. You rolled your hips into his thigh, hissing as you became wetter. He flexed the muscle under you, hard and unforgiving, sitting back and letting you rub yourself against it. You smeared your juices into his skin, stimulating your clit, inhaling sharply. Jungkook was still clutching your thigh, his large hand pressed into you.
“Is that enough for you?” he drawled, his other hand sliding up to land on your other thigh. “Is that all you want from me?”
Your eyes flickered to his playful, daring brown orbs.
“There’s no time…” you muttered.
“Take off your panties,” he nudged.
He placed his hands on your waist and lifted you up. You bit your lip, uncertain.
“Noona, I want you to feel good.”
He slipped one finger on the side of your black panties and pushed down. You took the other side and pushed them down, raising your legs to pull out one and then the other. Your panties fluttered to the ground. Jungkook’s gaze on you as you lowered again, bare and dripping, onto his thick thigh. Oh, holy hell. He tensed it and pressed your hips down, grinding his thigh onto your slopping wet pussy. You moaned, grasping his forearms through his turtleneck, feeling the strength in them, the hardness. You closed your eyes, humping his thigh, lost in bliss.
“Can you cum like that?” You felt Jungkook lean forward, lips brushing against yours. “Cum you cum just by rubbing yourself on me?”
Tiny, rigid nods. “If you... kiss me.”
He groaned as he felt your opening tense on his skin. “I thought you would never ask.”
And then his lips were on yours, soft, delicate. Sweet, erotic kisses contrasting with how hard you were fucking his leg, his tongue dancing in the periphery of yours, dodging you playfully as you whined, clutching him tighter. He pressed you down harder, sliding his tongue into your mouth. You shuddered, wetness pooling at his kisses, your core tightening as he whispered your name into your lips.
“Your body is so fucking delectable,” his murmured. “So sexy, it’s sinful.”
You clenched your jaw as you basically rammed your hips into his thigh, slippery and hard, your clit throbbing with need.
“Cum for me, noona.” You could feel his lips form the words as he kissed you, awe in his voice. “Cum on my thigh.”
You dug your nails into his clothed arms and shut your eyes, moaning his name, feeling the strings inside you snap, pleasure waterfalling into you as you came, squelching onto his skin, so viscous and thick that it added to the lubrication, your swollen clit throbbing. Your eyelids fluttered as his hands pressed you down, grinding your hips into his muscle so you could ride your high, extend it until you were melting, hands falling from his arms. He cradled you gently, your chest heaving with effort.
“J-Jungkook…”
“Mhm?”
You cracked your eyes open. “Has my phone made any noise?”
He shook his head. His dark hair covered part of his left eye. “No, noona.”
“Ah.”
Maybe Taehyung was getting laid. Good for him.
“I’m going to touch you now,” you stated. To the point.
Jungkook grinned.
You reached down to his black boxer briefs and yanked them down, freeing his cock and balls. He lifted his legs a little and you pushed them down, but he took your hand, placing it on his semi-hard cock. He moaned as your fingers wrapped around him.
“Do you want to take it off?” you asked quietly, referring to his underwear.
“No,” Jungkook replied tightly, cupping his hand around yours, using your hand to stroke himself a few times. “I can’t wait anymore.”
You nudged his hand aside and began your pace. He leaned back, gasping softly. Your grip wasn’t what it used to be. Carpal tunnel was a bitch. Still, you furrowed your brow, concentrating, He swelled in your hand, pre-cum leaking at the red tip dripping onto your fingers. You stopped for a moment to coat your palm with it, bringing it to your mouth and licking your hand, moaning at his taste. Jungkook shivered, watching your saliva spread all over before returning to his cock, adding to the lubrication.
He pressed his head into the back of the armchair, hips rising as you started again, jaw tense.
“I’m not as good as before,” you gritted out. “My wrist–”
“It’s perfect,” Jungkook interjected. “Fuck, your hand is perfect.”
He was rock hard in your hand as you jacked him off. You snuck a glance at him. His hands were on his face, combing through his dark hair, eyes closing, mouth open as he moaned, rutting into your palm.
He was just so, so sensual that it was driving you insane, his noises making you wet. There was something feral about it, the way he looked at you through his lashes.
“Can I finger you?” he pleaded. “Please.”
Your hips were raised to get a good angle, your arousal already dripping down your thigh.
“Of course. Touch me, Jungkook.”
He lowered his hands, hair all over his face, staring at you through the veil. His fingers slid up your thigh, slipping in between. Dipping in, moaning as he touched your wetness. You sucked in a breath, feeling his fingertip graze your swollen clit. Your grip tightened.
“Jungkook.” Your eyes found his, glazed with lust. “You can be rougher with me. If you want.”
He swallowed, Adam’s apple bobbing. “Don’t want to hurt you…”
You smirked.
“You forget who you’re talking to.”
He pushed two fingers into you, feeling you suck him in as you stroked him, smile still on your lips. Jungkook grinned, pressing his thumb against your clit and rubbed it as he began to thrust his fingers into you, matching your pace, the two of you focused on getting each other off, breath mixing between your bodies.
“Noona?”
“Yeah?” you panted, whimpering at his roughness, his fingers scissoring in you, stretching your walls as you squeezed back, faster and faster.
“Wanna cum in your mouth.”
You chuckled as he shoved a third finger into you, punishing your clit repeatedly, so full, so good, it was making you crazy, but you had to focus, you had to get him off.
“This is a weird angle.”
Jungkook suddenly pulled his fingers out and pinched your clit, making you hiss and your legs shake, pained whimpers clawing from your throat.
“Do it.” His voice was a low growl. “Do it and I’ll reward you.”
You slid off the chair, still stroking his cock, narrowing your eyes at him. Jungkook looked down at you, smirk on his pretty pink lips, whispering your name. You removed your hand and replaced it with your mouth. Fuck. He sighed, hand coming up to tangle in your hair, not quite pressing you down but holding you there, his taste coating your tongue, his hard length throbbing in your mouth. You moaned onto his cock and his hips trembled, his long bangs covering his left eye.
Ugh, the way he looked at you. Your felt your pussy clench, demanding his cock.
Instead, you began to move your head up and down, soft lips around him, mouth tight around the head and length. His hand stayed there, moving with you, firm, reminding you that you couldn’t stop, that you had to keep going until he came. You set a nice, fast, tight pace, already knowing he was close, hearing his breathy groans, repeating your name over and over.
“Always thought you were fuckable,” Jungkook panted out. “Always wanted you in my bed.” He pressed his head into the armchair, shutting his eyes. “Couldn’t figure out how to convince you, couldn’t figure out how to tell you that I wanted you so very much.”
You tightened your throat around him and he dug his nails into your scalp, breathing shallow and tight.
“Gonna cum, noona, fuck, gonna cum down that pretty throat of yours.”
Jungkook squeezed his eyes shut and groaned, his orgasm filling your mouth, coating your tongue, slipping down your throat. You gulped and he yelped at the sensitivity, whimpering as you softly lapped at the head, cleaning him off. Drinking it all, intoxicated with it, so satisfied swallowing it all.
Oh, how you loved sex.
You slowly removed your mouth crawling back up, no longer aware of your obligations to Taehyung, only interested in brushing Jungkook’s hair aside and kissing him deep, moaning as his tongue forced into your mouth, tasting himself. His hand slipped back into your folds and three fingers deep into you, fucking you. You whined into his mouth, telling him how good he was, telling him how good he felt inside you, telling him you how much you wanted his cock, his beautiful, thick cock jammed all the way inside you.
The door lock clicked and neither of you heard anything.
“Ah, I managed to hitch a ride with Jim– WHAT THE FUCK?”
Taehyung’s deep voice boomed throughout the apartment and you were still making out with Jungkook’s face as his fingers thrust into your slopping wet pussy, spreading you out. You whimpered as Jungkook broke the kiss, pushing you against his body as Taehyung slammed the door and marched in, kicking off his shoes carelessly.
“Fucking shit, why are you like this, fucking everything in your sight, you absolute–”
You turned your head, somewhat ashamed, feeling somewhat sorry – but not that sorry, because Jungkook’s fingers were still inside you. Taehyung’s strong features were twisted in annoyance, but he wasn’t looking at you.
He was scowling at Jungkook.
“I told you,” Taehyung said sharply, sweeping his lush fur coat back to reveal his black turtleneck and black slacks, pointing an accusing finger at Jungkook. “Not to get her started, because she is a horny seductress.”
You raised your eyebrows at him. “Excuse me?”
Taehyung ticked his head, looking down at you. “Am I wrong?”
You pouted. “Well, no.”
“And,” he added, directing his attention at you. “Why would you not ask me to fuck first? I’ve seen you naked hundreds of times!”
Jungkook raised his eyebrows. “Hundreds?”
Taehyung ignored him, leaning down and taking your chin. Brown eyes a mix of angry and amused, observing your lust. “I am offended that I respected you and you’re sitting in my roommate’s lap instead of mine.” His breath seemed like alcohol.
Your lips parted, heart beating fast. “S-sorry, Tae… You’re just always dragging me out of weird stuff that I thought you were disgusted by me…”
Taehyung brought his face close to you. You loved his voice. So deep, so intense, so heavy. It seemed to shake your soul with bass.
“I’ve wanted you on my dick the second I saw you.”
And then he kissed you, hard and full, as Jungkook’s fingers began to move inside you once again.

omg omg omg can u do horny hcs for dabi and shigaraki 😳😳
Horny Hc - 2
Pairing: Dabi x Reader, Shigaraki x Reader
Warnings: choking, being railed into the next dimension, spitting
A/N: Awwwww thank you for being my first requester nony <3 Here ya go, I hope you enjoy it bb! i’m so sorry that it took so fucking long but i just started working and it’s very hectic so I’m always either too unmotivated or too tired to write. But ig what matters is that I got it out lol. Dabi’s is a lot shorter than I’d like it to be but ima add on as time passes i think.
Tumblr media
Imma be honest here this man has a bomb ass sex playlist fr fr.
Like jesus christ.
And I feel like even arranged the songs in a way so that as sex escalates so do the vibes the music gives off.
I don’t know why but i feel like Dabi has a tell tale sign when he wants to fuck. Like he walks into a room and he gives you that little smirk and kinda rests his head on his hand and lightly touching his thumb over his lower lip while looking you directly in your eyes and you just know.
He has dick piercings. Done. You can’t convince me otherwise.
Can also see him as the type to start kissing your neck randomly as you’re telling him about something and just giving little responses like mhm while you’re talking. He loves doing it because he loves seeing how flustered it makes you and he loves the sound of you struggling to speak even though he’s barely touching you.
With a sigh you close your eyes and lean your head back against the sofa as you tell Dabi about your day, hands tangled in his hair while his lips move against your neck.
“ And work was a fucking drag as always. I just can’t wait for us to get out of here and - “ Within seconds your whole train of thought was lost as you felt dabi kiss against an especially sensitive spot. “ Mhm? “ You can feel the vibration from his chest as he hummed out his response, lips parting before he gently grazed his teeth against it. You let out a shallow breath and desperately try to swallow back the moan threatening to slip out from between your lips. He softly starts sucking while nipping in between as he moves lower towards your chest. His lips part from your skin while his hand slips underneath your shirt inching upwards slowly.
“ And what baby?” The amusement is clear in his voice as he speaks, his eyes slipping down to your lips and back up again as his hand stills right below your chest.
A small groan escapes your throat as your hand slips up his neck to the back of his head and grabbing a fist full of hair.
“Oh fuck you.“ You push his head forward towards yours and your lips smash together, hungry and needy. You can practically feel the smirk on his face as he softly pushes you back so you can lay down before shifting so he was in between your legs, your complaints about work already long forgotten.
Dabi is also very open minded when it comes to sex. Like if you were to ask him if you could do some things to him through the backdoor he’d definitely try it at least once before deciding whether he properly likes it or not. You might have to buy him a few drinks beforehand though lmao.
I also feel like he is quite experienced in bed. I can definitely say with confidence that he most likely has had his fair share of one night stands in the past and he isn’t afraid to putt what he learned to good use.
Definitely both a masochist and a sadist.
Like he loves inflicting pain on you by like biting down on your lip to the point where it starts bleeding or maybe even knifeplay. But he also really loves the feeling of your nails raking down his back hard enough to draw blood. To him it hurts so fucking good.
“ Oh my god yes Dabi. Fuck. “ You shamelessly moan out, clenched hands fisting the sheets as your boyfriend pounds into you. An especially hard thrust has your hands flying upwards towards his back, fingernails digging into his skin and dragging downwards with no restraint.
A sharp hiss leave his lips only to be followed by a low growl before his hips start pounding into you at an even harder and faster pace.
“ That’s right, you better fucking hold on princess.“
I feel like he’s the teasing type during aftercare. Like he’ll comment on how loud you were being with a giant smirk on his face or he’d imitate your moans now and then.
Omg also I can definitely see Dabi knowing exactly what each type of noise from you means. How your ,moans sound when you’re close or when you want it harder etc.
I mean when he pounds his baby so hard they can’t speak he needs other forms of communication lol.
Tumblr media
I'm gonna be honest here, I don't think that he's really experienced in the bedroom department.
Of course he's no stranger to the world of sex but most of the things he knows he definitely picked up either from overheard conversations at the bar or from the internet.
He never really minded not being sexually active, hell he barely even jerked off and probably wouldn't have if it weren't necessary. I feel like he most probably saw it as a chore.
But now that you're around his sex drive has doubled tenfold. Like in the beginning you had to beg to get him to do anything but now barely a day goes by where he doesn't indulge in your body.
That being said, don't underestimate his abilities in bed because this man is a fast learner.
He explores every inch of your body like unknown land, claiming you for himself.
He develops this need to make you cum every single time you're intimate. It's like a mission to him, and we all know how much he hates when things don't work out his way.
Speaking of things going his way, Tomura loves dominating you in bed. He loves being in charge and controlling where the night goes.
This being said, he loves taking you in missionary. He loves the way it gives him full access to your chest and neck and how he gets to stare into your pretty little eyes while he uses you as his cocksleeve.
Now and then when he's too tired he'll switch things up by letting you ride him. He loves gripping onto your hips while he thrusts up into them basically topping from the bottom, your chest on open display for him.
Even though he loves domming you he's too scared to try out any hard kinks in the beginning. The idea of choking you terrified him. What if something went wrong and he accidentally hurts you with his quirk? What if he kills you?
As your relationship progresses though, he becomes more confident with things like this. He finds comfort in the fact that you trust him enough to allow him to touch you like this, even thought you very well know what his quirk could do to your body and this becomes a very intimate thing for you.
Tomura is also possessive as fuck. If he sees a guy staring at you for even a second too long he's ready to throw hands. He will literately not hesitate to murder for you. And he has.
His friends have of course picked up on this and love to annoy him. Especially Dabi. He openly flirts and hits on you in front of Tomura to get a reaction out of him and no does he get one. It's as if he has a death wish.
It always results in him roughly fragile you away from the scarred man straight to your bedroom to remind you and everyone else what you belong to.
A choked cry leaves your throat as your boyfriend roughly bottoms out inside of you. He hardly even gives you time to adjust before starting his back breaking pace.
"A-ahh Tomura. Too much." Your voice comes out as a whine while you claw at your boyfriends back. He lifts his head from where he'd previously been sucking a hickey into your skin to give you a sickly grin.
"Oh yeah? But that scorched son of a bitch flirting with you wasn't?"
Shigaraki is a big fan of quickies. He especially loves them right before he has a big mission or meeting to attend. It gives him the opportunity to fuck out all the nerves and frustration beforehand.
Speaking of frustration. He definitely takes it out on you. When a mission goes wrong or fails? He fucks you. His team doesn't take him seriously? He fucks you.
Captain of head during videogames club.
I'm sorry to say this but I doubt that this man will give you lovey dovey aftercare.
Let's be honest, you take care of him on a daily basis, reminding him to eat and drink water and take a break when needed. And to moisturize. He barely knows how to care for himself, whats to say about you.
After sex you'd have to convince him to take a shower to get cleaned up and even more so to come to bed with you afterwards rather than play videogames or just passing out immediately afterwards.
The most love you can expect from him afterwards is some cuddles if he does agree to come to bed or he'd have you straddling him while gaming so you can still get your sought after attention. He'd press a kiss to your forehead now and then.
It may not be a lot to anyone else but you know that this is his own special way to let you know he cares for you and loves you.

Note
thanks for tagging me in the WIP ask game! i'm still working on my own post, but in the meantime: celebrity status? 👀
This story is basically Marinette having to deal with being a celebrity. She's constantly hounded by fans and reporters wanting pictures or quotes, and it's making it harder for her to find safe places to transform and her parents are constantly frustrated/worried with her for being late or absent to things. On a bad day, she snaps at an akuma victim, and even though she immediately apologizes her snapping is the thing that's all over the internet. She goes to Adrien for help with her PR problem, and they get close. And things improve for her... until someone snaps a picture of Ladybug and Adrien making out. And then to protect him, she kinda throws her own reputation to media wolves. ...
Preview:
"Thank you, Chaton. I never know what to say to reporters. You’re a lifesaver."
"I'm always at your service, my lady." He said with his trademark grin and a two fingered salute.
They were about to part when his cat ears swiveled. So weird!
"We have picked up an extra tail," he pointed with his eyes. She glanced and saw their stalkers.
"Thanks for the intel. I'll be careful."
He waved her good-bye and they took off in opposite directions. Unfortunately, this meant she couldn't go straight home, which is what she wanted more than anything. She just wanted to curl up into a bath.
Her earrings beeped. Three minutes.
Some quick yo-yoing spiderman swings meant that her tail on foot or in a car would never be able to follow her, but she had to always set off in a different direction. She couldn't be seen always headed towards the same neighborhood day after day.
Another beep. Two minutes.
She had lost her tail. But she was in the wrong part of the city - the buildings here were huge overflowing mansions, with wide open spaces. She needed an oasis.
She turned a corner and suddenly knew exactly where she was. She turned toward the Agreste mansion. Adrien had a window open and everything.
Beep. One minute.
She didn't think about it, just quickly dove towards the potential haven. It wasn’t ideal, but it was better than throwing herself at the mercy of some stranger. Hopefully, if she didn't quite make it she'd be able to trust Adrien not to look.
She landed on the smooth marble floor with a thud.
"Ladybug?" surprised green eyes greeted her.
"I'm about to time out," she stated without preamble.
He pointed to his bathroom. She had barely closed the door, when her transformation dissolved, and an exhausted Tikki fell into her hands. She let herself release a sigh of relief. That had been far too close.
"Uh... Ladybug? Are you okay?"
She suddenly realized where she was and exactly who was on the other side of that door. Heat flooded her cheeks.
"I-I'm fine," perhaps she should explain. She opened her purse, only to find it cookie-less. She cursed.
"You sure you're okay? Can I get you anything?"
"Ummm... Do you have any cookies? Or sweets?"
"Cookies? That's not fair..." his words faded into dissatisfied mumbling.
"Y-yeah. Cookies. Is that okay?"
"Just a second!"
His footsteps faded for a second. Only to return a few seconds later. He tapped on the door. And she started.
She opened the door a crack. And his hand slipped in, holding out the treat.
"You're in luck! My diet usually prohibits sweets. But my friend, Nino, occasionally hooks me up with some black market macarons from the best bakery in all of Paris."
Tikki inhaled the pale sandwich cookie in one bite. Before giving Marinette a nod.
"Spots on," and in a flash she felt the rush of Ladybug's power flow over her, somehow making her both less and more anxious. She opened the door.
"I'm sorry for stealing your rare treat. I promise I will make it up to you."
He waved away her concern. "Don't worry about it. I'm always willing to make a sacrifice or two for my favorite superhero."
"Me? I'm your favorite?" she asked, heat blooming under her mask.
"No competition!"
"T-thank you."
They stared at each other awkwardly, before looking away.
"Uhh... Do you mind if I lay low here for a bit? I was trying to lose a reporter who was following me. I'm confident they lost track of me by the time I ducked into your room, but I'm worried they'll keep combing the neighborhood for a while."
"You don't have to explain. I completely understand," his eyes were so soft. Green like a meadow in the spring.
She was struck by his sincerity. Of course, as a celebrity he probably had a lot of experience with dealing with the press. And she let herself relax.
"My room is your room!" he gestured grandly for her to take in the whole area.
She giggled. "I don’t know if this actually counts as a room," she commented, taking in everything from the grand piano to the foosball table to the rock climbing wall to the arcade. "It's more like an amusement park."
Adrien shrugged, some of the brightness in his eyes fading a bit. "My father tries to make sure I never have to want for anything."
"Do you not like it?"
He shrugged again. "It's pretty cool, but what’s the point if there's no one to share any of it with?"
She took another look around. With that context the room felt positively cavernous.
“Sounds lonely.”
He ducked into her line of sight, a smile stretched across his face. “I don’t have to be lonely today. You’re here.”
She blushed, and offered him a shy smile.
“So, what’s it like being a superhero?” he asked.
He was obviously trying to change the subject. She allowed it.
"Flying over rooftops is pretty cool. Constant life or death situations are stressful. What’s it like being a supermodel?"
He laughed. "Lots of responsibilities. Very little freedom."
"Sounds boring."
"Yeah."
"Let's do something fun then."
...
"Why did you come here?" Adrien asked, pulling out a passionfruit macaron from her gift box.
“I may have heard that you were grounded for defending me on the Ladyblog. And wanted to come cheer you up!”
He smiled. “Mission successful then!”
"And uh... this may sound stupid... but I also need some advice."
"Advice? On being a superhero?" Adrien asked with furrowed eyebrows.
"On how to deal with being famous,” Ladybug said.
"So... why'd you pick me?"
"Umm... you're the only famous person I know?" Which wasn’t strictly true, but Jagged Stone wasn’t going to give good advice. And it’s not like Ladybug knew Jagged. Marinette did.
"Glad you think so highly of me..."
"I-I didn't mean it like that! I wouldn't be here if I didn't trust you!"

***All Our Days - E - 221k - "I can listen no longer in silence."The hologram projection of his strangely handsome face is cobalt blue, flickering, and full of static. "I must speak to you, Rey. You… you pierce my soul. I am half agony, half hope. Tell me that I am not too late.” He groans, runs his hands through his dark, silver-streaked hair, then refocuses his gaze on the holorecorder. “I offer myself to you again with a heart even more your own than when you almost broke it, eight and a half years ago. Do not say that man forgets sooner than woman, that his love has an earlier death."Here the recording of Ben takes a deep breath, and looks down at something outside the holorecorder’s field of view. Perhaps at his hands, Rey manages to think, through the veil of shock and timid, fluttering hope. She wishes she were there with him, so she could take them in her own, and offer him the confidence to carry on.But this is only a hologram, so she must wait. Eventually, when he looks up again, his features have settled. He looks… Fierce. Determined. Self-assured."I have loved none but you," he says. - canonverse jane austen au

"I hardly expect your disposition to sweeten, but I will be damned if I allow my future Empress to behave in a manner that reflects poorly on me and on the First Order!""If you allow?" I don't belong to anyone.""That might have been the case back when you were a scavenger on that pitiful scrap heap of a planet, but now?"
