POV: You carry Malenia back home after the Radahn battle, but she wakes up and insists that she can walk by herself. She says, you're exhausted enough, ah, take a break! So you don't mention that she doesn't use your Halo Scythe as a weapon, and she doesn't mention your hand around her waist, and somehow, you make it back to the Haligtree.

Omigosh yay! I'm so glad someone finally asked me about Finlay 😊✨

Okay so!

I headcanon that Finlay was a daughter who was born into House Marais and she had several brothers who had died young due to illness and was well versed in prosthetics, as the House traditionally provided them to the soldiers who had lost their limbs during battle, and more specifically, to the Demigod Malenia and her slowly rotting away flesh.

So Finlay helped Malenia fit her prothesis when she and Miquella paid visits, and to say that she was enamored with the Demigod would be an understatement. So one day, while fitting Malenias leg piece, Finlay confided in Malenia about how she wished that she could prove herself stronger than her passed brothers and the reputation of the sickly House Marais, how she wishes that she could become a Knight.

Malenia: If you truly wish to become a Knight, then I would be willing to train you personally.

Finlay: 👀

As it turns out, having Malenia as a personal trainer is a very hellish experience (which is exactly what mal experienced when she was being taught by her master lol) The training was gruesome and Malenias teaching methods unrelenting, but Finaly stuck with it regardless and in the end, became an incredibly capable and unshakable warrior.

And when Miquella had decided to head to the snowy north to find his paradise for the Haligtree, Finlay was one of the first to follow Miquella and Malenia into the unknown.

not to say the mean thing out loud but. if you like finlay but refuse to portray her limp and use of a walking aid you maybe don't really like finlay so much as the vague idea of a wlw pairing for malenia

and in which case. an oc or something probably better suits you idk. finlay as a character is mostly a blank slate but she like other cleanrots are quite specifically using their spears/scythes as walking aids and was always as a knight afflicted with the rot to some degree(if that was even the source of her limp)

(yeah it's valid to depict her 'before' she got her limp but that's 1. technically baseless conjecture that she ever was a knight without one 2. not reflective of the relative lack of depiction of her with a walking aid as opposed to without(when she's explicitly a walking aid user) and most importantly 3. removing canon disability from a character is stripping away the sparse representation we get in the genre)

you don't have to live with bottom dysphoria all your life. go get that surgery. post-op dick is so cool. don't feel like you aren't allowed to get it, it's your body.

It’s a collection of testimonials from FtMs who have had bottom surgery, including their reasons, details about some of their procedures, and individual satisfaction ratings, and it includes testimonials from several trans men of color!

in the interest of combating misinformation about phalloplasty, uhhh, i heard there's a whole erective apparatus one can get installed that sounds entirely unappealing for me to have but afaik it's the only option

Until the day comes that we can recreate erectile tissue, erectile devices are the only way to create an erection with phallo. They use the same things people with natal penises use when they have erectile dysfunction. However, there is company working on making products specifically for trans people, though they aren't available in the US yet.

There are ones that are external, and then the internal ones you are describing. There are two different types of internal EDs: a semi-rigid rod that (in the words of my friend) you can move around like a pipe cleaner, and a pump which allows you to go from soft to hard. You should also check out phallo.net's How Penile Implants Work to get a sense of the process and the differences between types.

I would recommend reading people's experiences with EDs to get a better sense of whether or not an implant is something you would want. r/phallo is a good place for that, and you can also read Finlay Games post on his experience 9 months post-op. The implant is definitely not a requirement for getting phalloplasty.

I'm so freaking tired to read comments about how Radahn actually beat and is stronger than Malenia and he holds back the stars and learns magic not to kill Leonard IN. EVERY. SINGLE. MALENIA'S. POST/VIDEO/MEME/EVERYTHING.

Like, we get it, you Radahn's fanboys are irked your favourite character isn't the absolute best. So what?

The lore literally said "Malenia fought Radhan to a standstill" AND THAT'S THE END OF IT.

Yes, afterwards she bloomed, making Caelid what we see today, and yes, that made her pass out, and yes, she had to be carried away by Finlay, so what?

Literally how does that make her less then her opponent, who lost his mind and became a shadow of his former self?

Also, she gets insulted all the time because you all think she bloomed because she didn't want to lose, when actually WE DON'T KNOW EXACTLY WHY SHE DID IT.

Did she do it because she was desperate? Maybe.

Did she do it because her needle broke? Maybe.

Did she do it because she couldn't hold back the Rot anymore? Maybe.

We don't know how the Rot works.

What we do know is that her Cleanrots followed her with pride, at the point of CHOOSING TO DECAY to stand by her side. And I don't think many of them would have done that for a Demigod who would nuke an entire region without second thoughts or giving a damn about it.

We all saw how Godrick treated his people and the reputation and hate it gained him from the Lands Between.

(And the fact that Malenia, after being insulted by him and still even if it was her right to chose not to kill him should make you people ponder on what it says about her character. Literally why would she willingly cause such pain and distruction to innocent people when she didn't kill an horrible person like Godrick? When SHE HERSELF HATES HER ROT)

That's the whole point with George Martin.

The whole point with him and his books: in medieval times informations are unreliable, because some are made up, some are incomplete, some are missing, etc.

And that's the same thing for Elden ring, all informations and lore we have comes from dialogues and item's descriptions.

And ALL of them proclaimed the battle of Aeonia a tragic battle which ended in a STALEMATE.

Cry all you want about it, and STOP insulting characters other people like just because you don't like the lore.

Both Radahn and Malenia are impressive, not perfect, but certainly impressive characters and leaders, as both their armies followed them with pride.

There is literally NO POINT in keeping that discussion up. And there is certainly NO POINT in ruining all posts that celebrates Malenia FOR HERSELF, without even talking about Radahn.

I absolutely get if a wrestler’s work is not for you, if you simply dont enjoy them, literally got nothing to add to that, we all have different opinions and tastes - but on the narrative side of things I‘ve been incredibly amused and annoyed lately with some peoples reaction to David Finlay

most and foremost: all knock-off Jay White comments. They are so funny to me cause yeah. The leader of a group that has always been a collective of bitter pathetic awful guys who are frustrated with how they are treated and make it everybody elses problem, is a jealous douchebag taking advantage of his biggest rivals and former best friends loss. Pathetically trying to outdo Jay but inevitably just turning into something like him. That seems to be the whole point. And for me personally a story im intrigued by - if you arent then 🤷‍♂️

Like, once again just talking about the narrative side, this is not about the booking business side of things, can i remind yall that Kenny and Jay and Devitt literally went through the same violent emo phases cause they were jealous of a partners success and supposed lack of attention from the company? And only saw their way out through taking advantage of BC? Its a whole thing lmao.

My overarching point to all of this is: im not surprised that guys on reddit that are looking towards Bullet Club for sth that isnt there right now are not being satisfied lol, AJ Styles fans pls switch the channel or open the archives if Styles era BC is what you wanna see, its been over 8 years.

Also a specific example cause i just saw it: people being like “why isnt someone like Gabe the leader”, listen to me. listen closely: you are watching story, a narrative! Thats ongoing!! There’s a reason why these young guys who graduated their dojos not that long ago are listening to this older dude who may not look as cut and lean as them, but who graduated before they even got here, who’s telling them what they wanna hear, is a 4th generation wrestler, and has Gedo on his side. (I know the old small bastard’s a meme but in text he still mentored both Okada and Jay to their success!) Please I’m begging these people to watch this story medium with its story in mind!!!!
