Don’t know if you noticed as well but Yui’s personality started worsening as the games passed by. In HDB I found most of her reactions to her circumstances and background realistic. She had some dumb moments here and there but they weren’t as frequent as in the other games. Sometimes I wonder why they decided to change her so much but I don’t see it as a good idea T_T

// I know this might be a controversial opinion, but I honestly didn’t enjoy HDB. It wasn’t that it was too dark for me, rather, I just found the scenarios too boring and slow. It felt like it took forever for anything meaningful or plot-driven to happen. The constant mood swings between the Diaboys and Yui made the experience confusing to me. One moment, the guy was acting all sweet and romantic, and the next one, he was punishing you/Yui. Similarly, Yui’s reactions felt inconsistent; in a chapter she enjoyed being bitten, and in the next one she didn’t. It was hard to get a clear sense of their true personalities.

I feel like she got dumber as the games went on too, but honestly, that doesn’t bother me too much. What really gets to me is how they turned her into such a judgmental person that even characters like Ayato, Shu, and Reiji (who aren’t even humans to begin with and got several issues) had to teach her morality lessons?? Everyone keeps calling her out on things she is supposed to already know, and that’s sometimes hard to witness, because it gives me second hand embarrassment. 😭😭

At the same time, I remember hearing many Japanese players say they don’t like it when the heroine is more successful than they are. So, I guess writing her that way makes her come across as more approachable. To be honest, I’m not a big fan of overly serious or mature heroines either, which is why Yui still suits my taste better.

Pactically. . . If you really want to be objective, the root of Ayato’s actions are his brothers. He did wrong but they were the ones who didn’t give a shit about him in that CD, they were like “You go take responsibility about this we don’t care”. They were the ones who broke him, let’s not deny it. All of them played a part in his own destruction. 🫤

Subaru and Shu aren’t good examples here when they betrayed Ayato in the young blood manga. They apologized to Kanato in his route for ruining everything but couldn’t apologize or at least try to understand Ayato’s situation when his brothers wanted him to be killed even if they weren’t hurt by Ayato. I’m not saying they can’t be nice too but they still don’t stand up for others or sacrifice themselves for them as much as Ayato does so I’ll give him credit here.

And unlike Subaru and Laito, he didn’t get any sort of love from his brothers and that’s not a fair comparison. Subaru kept those powers but he knew he had people around him who cared for him while Yui was the only person who genuinely cared for Ayato even if time got rewinded.

Before getting the powers Ayato was relatively alright, he was a chill dude. The amount of pressure and lack of sensibly from his brothers ruined him. That’s end of story. He was the monster they created and that’s what made the story so interesting to me.

I agree with you about the cd. They were being inconsiderated indeed. No question asked. About Shu and Subaru… (just checked Young Blood, true. Dismiss the example then.)

But this one. I think the reason why they don’t apologize and wanted to kill him is because, again, Ayato threatened their lifes. Then he injured 2/5 of the brothers. That might have been perceived by the others (🤔 Were Shu and Subaru in this too or it’s just Reiji and Ruki? I don’t remember hearing Subaru talks at all… Could you help me with this one anon?) as “examples”. “If you go against him, worst case scenario, you’ll ended up like that”. => Instead of overthrown him (and keep him in a prison), they decided to kill him? 🤔 Because they’re not sure if prison cells can protect them from his powers?

And… THE SAKAMAKI BROTHERS LOVE EACH OTHER? 😧

I don’t think i can agree with that. Maybe you were trying to say “they supported Laito and Subaru more in their routes”, so allow me to go with that flow. pov: you are Kanato Sakamaki’s vampire doll

You read the title right. I made one ‘cause I’m a Kanato Sakamaki simp. Well, it all started when I read this headcanon post, and I thought, “hey what if there’s a human doll out there that Kanato takes an interest in and that doll happened to be their maid” 

I listed all the headcanons until I came up with the whole story. The story outline looks like this:

Shuu received a letter from Karlheinz (as usual) about a vampire who starved himself because the bastard won’t drink human blood.

ofc Shuu ain’t interested on that part so he skipped at the bottom where he read the vampire has a mortal underling

The human wasn’t a bride. Fvck no blood drinking then

They were not allowed to kill her, but she can be anything they want (slave, toy, gardener, whatever)

They don’t know where this mortal is btw or if she knows her way to the mansion (not that they care of course)

Subaru dragged a hooded mortal inside the mansion, claiming “she won’t talk so I brought her here”

 Laito and Kanato reprimanded him like the big brother they are (”Girls don’t like it rough”) yeah right as if you know how women want it jk 

The girl’s small, even smaller than Yui (around 145 cm), but she looks like a doll. You know, those dolls with long dark hair and red eyes? That one.

The triplets were delighted.

“Another food!”

Let’s not forget little Yui here. Poor girl’s actually relieved there’s another human in the house (and it’s a girl ;w;)

However, Reiji ruined the triplets’ hopes and dreams.

“I don’t think she’s food.”

Ayato be like: “Food is food!”

Ofc Reiji has to win the argument so he drank her blood and said, “Her blood doesn’t taste anything.”

Poor vampires. They got a worthless human.

Shu deduced that her vampire caretaker must have made a spell so she won’t be their food.

Well, their father told them not to kill her. Might as well make her their maid.

Another fun fact: the girl can’t speak.

“Not only does she lack taste, but she also can't speak!”

Our loli-boy Kanato likes it though. The girl can be a great addition to his doll collection.

They all call her Doll because she behaves like one.

She’s even cuter, dressed-up in those Victorian-era maid uniform.

Yes, it’s a long skirt ‘cause Reiji won’t allow her to wear those promiscuous skirt cosplay stints that his brothers adore (particularly the triplets *coughs*Kanato*coughs*)

Ayato was the first one to learn about Doll’s name (the name’s Maya btw)

Kanato likes her name and takes it upon himself to make her his doll

Reiji allowed him, under the condition he clean up his own mess if he decide to kill her eventually (despite their father’s orders)

Kanato thought it was all good until Reiji has set up rules for his ownership of the family’s Doll much to his dismay. 

Maya was still assigned to do the other household chores.

He thinks Reiji’s just being lazy and wants to boss her around.

Surprisingly, Shuu agrees with Reiji (even the others were shocked)

“That fool is not noisy, and she makes the best steak.“ what a reason, right? The steak’s probs the reason why Maya is still in the house

Well, Maya spends her free time with Kanato so it was all dressing up as one of his dolls, eating with him during tea parties, accompanying him when he goes out to buy stuff

All fun and games until Kanato takes out a hidden knife and starts to mark some gruesome sht on her skin to vent out his pent-up anger and frustration

Would also choke her when he feels like it

Kanato loves that she doesn’t produce any sound and would only contort her face in pain and pure fear

She ain’t gonna die ofc

Once Kanato sees the waterworks, he’ll immediately stop and reward his poor doll

Make sure the tears are real or the punishment’s gonna be double

Yui thinks Maya is lucky ‘cause she’s not treated as a food in the house.

And yes, this fic is an Ayato x Yui one so our poor Yui is sad that Ayato treats her as a food.

Maya doesn’t think the same ‘cause her former master didn’t drink her blood, and she wanted him to (poor doll)

But, one day, Kanato decides to drink her blood.

The thought dawned on him when he was in the kitchen and Maya was baking a cake for him.

The middle triplet knew Maya’s blood doesn’t have a taste, but he had this nagging idea.

“I’ll just put cream on the spot so her blood can have a taste.”

Ha! Genius.

And so, carefully, he walked up to her and hugged her from behind, dipping a finger in the cream and spreading it on her neck.

Before she could stop him, he had already sunk his fangs into her flesh and drank the blood.

Surprisingly, her blood has a unique, sweet taste. And no, it didn’t come from the cream.

Our poor boy felt like he had been lied to.

Don’t worry, no tantrums galore... yet.

Maya is clueless actually ‘cause all she knows is that her blood doesn’t have a taste (or at least according to Reiji)

Kanato loves this. Finally, a doll for myself. No more fighting with my brothers over a sacrificial bride.

He tells her lovingly, "Maya-san, starting from now, I'll be the only one to drink from you. This will be our secret, okay?"

Their relationship was an open secret tbh ‘cause the others instantly noticed something was up between them. Maya would walk around the house with fresh and semi-healed bites here and there.

Kanato has also been humming happily by himself, talking to Teddy alone as usual, but he had this smug expression as if he had beaten them all.

The set-up has also been taken further a notch when Kanato remembered something important.

He hadn’t kissed her before sucking her blood!

They were alone at the library when he told her that. Maya was a stuttering clumsy mess, dropping her brush when he teases her.

“Hehe, how cute~”

Of course, Kanato gives her a kiss. It was a brief one, but warm and tastes like candy. He kisses her again, and tells her to open her mouth. After their make-out session, Kanato tells her he’s gonna give her lots of it the next time before leaving her flustered.

One time, the brothers were summoned to the demon world. Yui and Maya have the mansion to themselves so they had a mini sleepover

(Yes, I’m crying happy tears ‘cause Yui usually spends her time with testosterone-filled vampire boys *cries*)

They confess about their feelings to the two brothers (and at this stage, I realized our Laito boy doesn’t have his own gf... or not, the fvcker probably has many to begin with)

Kanato came back from the demon world but gave Maya the cold shoulder. Reiji got tired of seeing her lovesick expression so he ordered her to deliver a cupcake to Kanato’s room.

But the thing is Kanato was mad at her

Maya didn’t know what she had done wrong, but Kanato was all like “Why are you smiling so purely whenever you’re around Yui-san? Is that it? You like her more than me?”

Tantrums galore here and there. Mostly him telling you everything he did for you.

Maya was a perceptive doll, of course. Let’s not underestimate her power to calm Kanato down. While he was ready to strangle her to death, she suddenly spoke the first syllable of his name (that’s progress right there)

“Ne, Teddy, you think Maya has been a good girl?” Thank heavens Teddy is on your side.

She finds out later Kanato hates the fact that Yui was the first to know that Maya likes him. Like, LIKE. He knew because he summoned a poor demon soul inside one of his dolls to keep guard of her.

To compensate for her ‘betrayal’, Kanato demanded a love confession.

“I’ll be waiting for it.” Maya better prepare a love confession worthy of his affection lest she wanted to die.

One day, Shuu and Reiji were ordered to make Maya go to school using their surname. She was supposed to share classes with Laito and Subaru (the two aren’t classmates, Maya just needed to make up for missing courses)

Ofc Kanato had a throwing fit. Maya must be by his side at all costs.

Shuu’s ear was prob damaged from his brother’s cries so he wrote a letter to their father.

Karlheinz was prob pranking them because he replied with a "I am just kidding, you lot. Why would I tear apart Kanato from his beloved doll? I am looking forward to this development, after all." (For some reason, Laito and Reiji were skeptical about the last part)

Kanato and Maya were classmates, but they’re sitting apart from each other. Well, it’s better than her sharing class with his two younger brothers.

It was all good until their other classmates started talking to her, especially this one who kept sending flirty winks and grins. Maya thought the guy prob had an eye infection or something.

They had a project for their class and it was by partner, so this guy took it upon himself to ask Maya. The girl would only look at him blankly and when he tried to touch her, she instantly slapped his hand away. She didn’t mean to be rude. She’s just not used to someone being close.

The others already started whispering that Maya has a horrible attitude and is a stuck up.

Kanato didn’t want them to torment her because she’s his doll. The one to hurt her should only be him and no one else.

He suddenly intertwined his fingers with hers in front of them (hugged her even!) and told this poor guy to back off if he knows what’s good for him. 

The others were in disbelief at his public display, claiming it was incest. Kanato found it ridiculous, telling them he did all those because Maya is his and no one else’s.

“I hope you understand what I mean,” he suggested 

This little sneaky bastard

Another rumor was born from this: Kanato and Maya share the same surname because they are married. He knows his father won’t be proud but who cares?

Shuu already dreaded opening their father’s new letter, so Reiji had to do it for him.

Karlheinz was a proud father alright

"Kanato has impressed me, hence making my project go forth and develop into something greater. I hope all of you will be able to cooperate with this one to keep up the good work."

They kept up with the rumor until Kanato proposed to Maya about making it real. She still wasn’t sure but she wanted to be by his side.

Many things happened after because Maya kept on having these apparitions (SPOILER ALERT: Her former master performed a blood transfusion spell to her so she could inherit his vampire powers, but her awakening wasn’t complete because the master was killed by a vengeful vampire hunter. Kanato later kills off this vampire hunter because he was lurking around their territory.)

Maya fell off the balcony and Kanato thought he was too late as she was already lying on the ground stained in her blood.

She still survived, though because of her vampire blood and Kanato’s healing saliva. But her lifespan’s fleeting since she’s an incomplete vampire.

Kanato turns her so she could live with him forever. (More like suffer this damn eternity with him)

Her awakening wasn’t still complete as she lost her sight, though it was a side effect. Kanato grew tired of her blindness so he performed a spell to return her sight.

Heck, our boy’s so dramatic he performed this magic in his doll room where he laid Maya inside a glass coffin and surrounded her with flowers (Subaru’s gonna kill him for stealing the flowers but whatever)

Maya finally awakens, but Kanato wasn’t happy.

He was like, “I did all the work and all I get is a “thank you”? Give me my reward!”

Reward is sex, of course. Who are we kidding now? Kanato loves sex soooooo

Ended the fic with an implied coffin sex ‘cause it’s big enough to fit the two of them

(will probably add bonus chapters of their life as a “teenage married couple”)

YOUNG SAKAMAKIS FALLING FOR AN OLDER S/O

Note: The boys appear to be around ages 8-13. The reader is about 17, your relationship with the boys is very platonic.

Tw: Cursing, slight mention of molestation in Laitos part.

Btw: I'm still editing on this, just a bit. So if any of the sentences are awkward my apologies. I wanted to post this since this is my first draft ever.

SHU

The young vampire raced through the grim mansion, wasting no time to greet you once noted of your arrival. He huffed, listening to his padded shoes as they appeared to be the only thing occupying the empty halls. Shu peeked through the glass windows, quickening his pace once spotting you in the courtyard.

"{Name}-San!" Shu shouted, running into your open arms. You couldn't suppress your smile any longer as you hug the boy close. Gently patting his back while uneven breaths left his body.

"Shu, Careful! Try not to stain their lovely clothes!" Beatrix grimaced as she neatly folded her hands upon her lap, shooting the boy a harsh glare.

"I...I'm sorry." Shu whispered. His body seemed to sink into yours, tiny hands clutching your cotton sleeves. "Ah, Beatrix it's quite alright. A little dirt never hurt anybody, right?" You smiled, successfully breaking the tension. Moving from your crouched position you take Shu's hand in yours, securely holding it close.

Beatrix sighed bitterly. "You're too kind {Name}, I'll be sure this won't ever happen again." Your eyebrows furrowed, lips twitching into a forced smile.

“It’s fine, honestly, he's just a child after all.” 

Turning away from the woman you give Shu’s hand a light squeeze. “Shall we go?” You ask the young vampire, not giving his strict mother a chance to speak. Picking up some books off the table, tucking them under your arm. Shu gives you a curt nod, returning your hand gesture.

"Bye Reiji," You place a hand on his shoulder, giving it a gentle pat. "You should introduce me to a good book sometime."

Reiji looked away, not able to keep eye contact with you. "I...I will." Shu tugs on your hand, looking seemingly bored of your interaction with his younger brother.

"Beatrix...Cordelia. We’re off now!!” You shouted, waving at the brides and the other boys, soon disappearing from their sight.

"Hey, Shu why aren't you talking?" You asked, opening the door to a spacious four-bedroom cabin. It was custom-made after Reiji's birth, by Shu's demand. It had become the little getaway home you'd visit weekly. "Shu!"

The blonde-haired boy remained silent, taking his usual spot in a baby blue cushioned chair. He watched at his lap as he attempted to ignore your burning gaze. You step close to him, crouching down next to his seat.

“Shu,” You said, cupping his face in your hands, turning his head towards you. “Why are you pouting?” He didn't utter a word and instead nestled his head into your warm palms. His baby blue eyes staring into your concerned ones.

"It's not fair." He muttered, eyes darting to the floor as his cheeks start to heat up. "What?" You asked. "What's not fair?"

Shu removes your hands, grasping them in his much smaller ones. "You keep talking to Reiji and I don't like it. You're supposed to be my lover, right?" You raise your brow at the vampire as he gazed at you with hopeful eyes. "Lover, huh?"

“Of course! When I'm older I’ll be able to protect you and then we can get married!”

Your eyes widened as your cheeks begin to glow red. What an odd personality he had.  “Is that so?” You asked, smiling from ear to ear as you entertained the idea. You swoop Shu into your arms, pressing your soft lips against his pale cheek. He wrapped his arms around your shoulders, hiding his big grin.

“Then I look forward to that day.”

REIJI

It was a quiet afternoon. The sky was clear, yet dim and the birds were oddly quiet. You had an appointment with reiji, and he was supposedly arriving in ten minutes. "Good Evening, {Name}-San."

"Oh! Hello Reiji!" You smiled, raising from your seat, wrapping your arms around the boy, to which he returned hesitantly. "How have you been?"

"Great, thank you," Reiji said, releasing his arms from your body. You retake your seat, the smile never leaving your face, grab some books from your side.

"We won't be studying today, not that we ever do. But I wanted to talk to you about some books you've read recently."

"As of recently, I've read 'The History of Tom Jones, a Foundling'" He says as you hand him a few more novels.

"Hmm, that's nice, what's it about?"

Time flew by fast, seconds turned to minutes, minutes turned to hours, and before you knew it your time was almost up. All the time you guys spent laughing was just too enjoyable. You've always thought the boy was far too serious for his age. Good thing it didn't take long to break the ice when you were present.

You peer down at your book, basking in a comfortable silence between you and the young vampire. Reiji glanced at you every so often, taking in your admirable beauty. Soft eyes following each word of the page, hair gently cascading down your neck, and what a pretty neck you had.

The boy averted his eyes, hiding his ears with the somewhat heavy book. Initially, Reiji wanted you to be his mentor since you were supposed to be Shu's. You acknowledged his bizarre sense of superiority over his little brother. It was a bit troublesome. But over time Reiji found your company sacred, there was nothing like it. He certainly wasn't disappointed in his choice.

"Reiji...are you okay?" You asked, patting his shoulders. "Ha, you zoned out for a bit. Is something on your mind?" Reiji watched your wide-eyed before clearing his throat.

"Is that so..." Reiji turned to look at you, finding a place to stop, and closed his book. "Yes, I've been thinking about something for a while. It's been bugging me for some time."

You follow his actions, closing your book then placing it to your side. You usher him to speak while giving him your undivided attention. He lets out an uneasy sigh before opening his mouth.

"Will you be here when I'm older? Would you still be by my side?" He closed his mouth, it felt as if his throat was closing in on him. "Would you perhaps read with me when I'm older? Tending to my needs like you do now, maybe as something...more?"

You were at a loss of words, what a formal way to put it. This boy was truly too advanced for his time. You pondered his few questions, deciding on a good answer.

"Of course, the future has much in store for us and I have a feeling our chapter has a few more pages to it."

AYATO

The sweet sound of chirping as colorful leaves rustled through the air surround you and Ayato. The dull yet clear Lake shimmered at the boy as it was the only thing grabbing his attention.

You rake your fingers through his red locks, his head resting in your lap. “Ayato, You don't like water do you?” You asked. He shook his head, opening his eyes. “Why is that?” You gazed into his lovely emerald eyes as he gripped at your pants.

Ayatos little fear was strangely interesting to you. From what you knew he loved going on little expeditions with you, even though you had to push him out of his comfort zone.

“Mama threw me in one time.” You couldn't believe what you were hearing. You lift the boy so you were eye level, eyebrows furrowed.

"Wait why?" You asked, lips twitching into a scowl, eyes narrowing ever so slightly. "I was being bad, she said." The vampire huffed. "I don't know, didn't even do anything {Nickname}."

"Hmm, I could've guessed." You said, kicking your feet back and forth over the docks. "You're too sweet for that." A comfortable silence fell between you two before Ayato broke it.

"Can you swim {Nickname}?"

"Of course. But I learned properly..." You smirk, poking the redhead's squishy cheek. "Say, Ayato, do you wanna learn how to swim?"

Ayato gave you a panicked expression, beads of sweat rolling down of his clear skin. He knew that look in your eyes far too well, there was no backing out. "Cmon kid, I'm not going to let you drown!"

The young vampire reluctantly nodded, watching you undo some layers of your Victorian-styled clothing. Ayato averts his eyes as he hugs his legs to his chest.

A loud splash echoed through the crisp air, water droplets hitting Ayato's skin. He watched the still lake, waiting for you to resurface, almost panicking when it took you longer than five seconds. "Cmon' kiddo." You said, taking his hands in yours and pulling him into the water.

You hug the boy close to you, slowly drifting away from the docks. Ayato was clinging to you like a scared cat, it was starting to hurt. You pat his back as you kept him tightly locked in your arms but his fidgeting wasn't helping.

"Ayato, stop movin' damnit I’ve got you." You growled, raising him above warm water. He averted his eyes from yours, chewing on the inside of his cheek. "What's wrong with you kid?"

"I. It's just...this is embarrassing..." He grumbles as you lower him back into the water. "I should be the one holding you, not you holding me. I want to teach you something."

You snort, letting out a much-needed laugh. This kid was unbelievable! You knew he'd be an interesting character when he was older.

"Don't laugh at me!" He huffed, puffing out his chubby cheeks. You pat his head, giving him a big smile as the two of you drift back to the unoccupied docks. You place the redhead onto the stiff material, wringing put the ends of his clothing.

"Listen, kid, you don't have to learn anything. Your mother's a bitch, got it? Who gives a damn if you know how to swim? You still have me and I won't think of you any differently, 'kay?"

The boy started to tear up, rubbing his jade eyes with his fist. You raise yourself alongside him, nudging him with your shoulder. Ayato turned towards you, giving you the biggest puppy dog eyes ever.

"{Nickname}! When I'm older I'll be the best! No one will be good enough for me...I...Uhm...except you!" He shouts, punching the air. "I'll even become a better swimmer than you and Uhm, you have to promise you'll wait for me!"

You lift a brow at him, your grin barely peeking through your usual aloof expression. You scoff, turning away playfully.

"Learn how to swim first then well talk!"

KANATO

You tuck your legs under yourself, holding a hot teapot in your hands. A bit of steam illuminated from the top of the warmed pot. "I'm back, would you like some tea, Kanato-San?" You asked jokingly. "It's your favorite!"

"Oh, thank you, {Name}-San. Would you care for some cookies?" You nod eagerly, looking at the many different trays of sweets. You and this kid were a match made in heaven, you guys loved sweets and were crazy in your own way.

"I appreciate you, sir, now Teddy needs a napkin so his clothes don't get dirty." You smiled, handing the lavender-eyed boy a white cloth. Kanato placed it on the bear before picking up his teacup.

Kanato struggled with the teapot a bit, then successfully pouring the warm liquid into your porcelain cup. You ruffle his fluffy hair, bringing the cup to your lips, sipping the bitter drink. You glace at the pale boy, the harsh sensation burning into your side.

"Hmm, what is it? Why are you looking at me like that?"

Kanato averts his eyes, holding his Teddy bear over his rosy face. "Y-You are just so pretty! You...You look just like a doll!" He blurted out, shying away from your curious eyes.

The way he said that made you shiver, nonetheless were you overjoyed. "Oh, thank you Kanato!" You beamed, kissing his forehead, returning to your filled cup to tea. The boy clings to your arm, almost preventing you from drinking your tea.

"Hey, {Name}..."

You hummed a soft "yes" mixing more sugar in both teacups. "Will you be my personal doll when I'm older?" Your shocked expression made him cower away as you tilt your head ever so slightly. Kanato's face was as almost as red as a tomato, head hanging low while trying to find his cool.

"U-U...Uh, I d...didn't mean that..." He stuttered. "I meant like would you love me and teddy forever and be ours?"

He grins, laying his head on your shoulder. "I'm okay," He murmured. "I just hate that man mama talks to."

Your heart dropped, you could feel jealousy oozing off of him. How putrid, if Cordelia weren't the culprit you could probably say you're surprised. You were well aware of Cordelia's affairs with Laito, it upset you to no end. Your heart ached to see Laito go through this but you had no power to stop it, not now at least.

“...Is that so?” You ask, twisting his red hair, watching it bounce when you let go. “My fiance is the same way.” You look down at Laito, adjusting his shirt. “That’s actually what I came to talk to you about. After tomorrow I won’t be able to see you like this anymore."

"...what?" He breathed out, burying his head into your side. "You can't go...you're supposed to stay with me...You promised...!"

"I-I know. I'm sorry Laito...I-"

You stop when quiet whimpers start to fill your ears, causing a tear to slip from your eyes. "Laito," You whispered, hugging the little boy close to your chest. "Believe me, I don't want to leave you."

Laito looked up at you, placing his hand on your slightly wet cheek. He shook

Your eyes widened for a moment before you smile down at the boy. "Okay. I will..." You sobbed. Resting your head against him, shutting your eyes as your long lashes brushed against your cheek.

Laito slips from your embrace once your body went slumps and positions himself in your lap. "I love you." He said, burying his face in your neck. "I'll come to find you when I'm older. Then we can be together...we'll finally be happy."

You muttered, "Tell me when you stop next time dummy." The boy paid you no mind, turning towards you, peeling your hands away from your eyes. He reaches up brushing some of your hair behind your ear.

Your eyes widened as you fought to take in your breathtaking surroundings. A broad, clear lake rimmed with neat bushes. All kinds of flowers littered the surface, all fitting various shades of your eyes. "H...how did you do all of this...?" You asked.

You twirl around, now staring at a tall tree, pale color tree. If your jaw wasn't touching the floor before it certainly was now. Blossoms fall from the strange color tree, it being the only thing matching your eyes perfectly. "What the hell! It looks so unrealistic!"

"I-I um..." The albino stuttered, covering his pink face with his hands. You smile, ruffling his white hair. This was a pleasant surprise indeed.

"Hey! Subaru, slow down, kid. I can't walk as fast as I used to." Subaru continued walking, his face turns a bright pink when you gripped his hand tightly. You don't know what you'd do if you lost him.

"Close your eyes, {Name}-San. We're almost there." He uttered, maneuvering both of you through the spiky, tangled branches of the woods. He dropped your hand once you were deeper in the forest.

You sit down plucking numerous flowers into your hands. "Come here Subaru." You murmured, turning your back towards the white-haired fellow.

"Hmm?" He hummed, taking a seat next to you. "Hold on..." Moments later you turn around with two similar flower crowns in each hand, a bright smile adorning your face. You stretch your hand towards him.

"Here Subaru."

"I umm...thank you..." He murmured, placing the crown on his head, hiding his face from you with a tight hug. You pet his head as it took far too long for the boy to get used to you. This was a step closer and you enjoyed every moment.

When you noticed that he wasn't going to come out soon you decided to approach him. You knocked his door softly. "Reiji, can I come in?" there was no answer so you slowly opened the door. Reiji put his book aside and looked at you waiting for you to speak. "I know I was wrong, I won't do it again I'm sorry" you said while walking closer to him. "Is that it?" he asked, his voice was calmed but you knew he was upset. He wasn't willing to forgive you just like that so you had an idea. You walked even closer and then sat on his lap. Ayato: Both of you were at school but he managed to convince you to skip the last class so you decided to kill some time together at the rooftop. You were sitting on the floor next to each other just staring at the night sky and talking about random thoughts that would cross your mind. "This is nice, isn't it?" he suddenly asked. "What? Being here with you doing nothing?" You giggled. "Yes I guess it's nice" "I told you! spending time with Ore-sama is always worth it... but now I'm getting bored" He said while still looking at the sky. "Huh? Subaru: Both of you were sitting in your bed, you were watching a movie together in your room. Of course this wasn't his idea and he refused to do it at first but after hearing you ask to have a movie night thousands of times he finally accepted. After an hour you got hungry and thought about making some popcorn to eat while watching the rest of the movie. You suddenly paused the tv. "Huh? What are you doing?" Subaru asked. "I'm hungry, I'm gonna make some popcorn" You answered. "Ha, no. You're not going anywhere" He said with a playful tone, he grabbed your waist and made you sit on his lap facing the tv. He put his arms around you, hugging you from behind so you would stay in place. "You forced me to watch this in the first place, now you're gonna stay here with me until it ends. Come on, press play" You did as he said. He was still hugging you but his grip softened so you could be comfortable. He put his chin on your shoulder and pulled you a little bit closer. Kanato: You two were in his room. He bought some new clothes for his dolls but he wanted to see how they looked on you first so he made you try them one by one. At some point you got tired and you weren't even halfway there. "Kanato, can we have a short break?" "No, you need to try them all" "I will try them all but I've been changing clothes for an hour already, give me a break" Who were you to tell him what to do? that's the first thing it went through his head when he heard the words give me a break. "You can't give me orders! If you won't do what I say by yourself I'll have to make you do it!" He took some clothes that were on the floor and then put them next to a chair. Kanato sat in the chair and grabbed your wrist to pull you down, making you sit on his lap. You knew you had to take care with your words when you talked to him but it was already too late. He locked your legs with his, leaving you unable to move. "Why you gotta make things so complicated?" He complained in a low voice. You didn't say a single thing. "At least be useful and raise your arms" he ordered. You were confused but did as he asked. Kanato removed your shirt and changed it for one from the pile he put next to the chair earlier. He sighed. "You're annoying but pink suits you"

Laito: Both of you were hanging out in the living room. You were reading a magazine and Laito was sitting next to you. "Heey, will you talk to me? You have been reading that for hours" He complained. "Laito we can talk later, let me finish this first." He has been sitting next to you since you started to read that magazine and now he's bored of just sitting there and wants your full attention. "Or we could talk now and you could finish that later" He said. He didn't know how to catch your attention so even if it wasn't his smartest idea he snatched the magazine from your hands and throw it away. "What are you doing!? • The whole thing was very fun for him–like a game he knows he’ll win.

• He does not take it well.

• He’ll throw a tantrum, lashing out at the best friend for always being so close to his s/o and asking to be alone with them.

• No. Not allowed.

• “WHY DO YOU NEED TO BE ALONE WITH THEM? THAT’S MY S/O! GET YOUR HANDS OFF THEM BEFORE I CUT THEM OFF.”

• He’s angry at his s/o too when they get home after seeing their best friend.

• He’ll be less grouchy after that, but will definetely be more clingy to his s/o when out in public.

• It takes a while before he lets his s/o talk to pretty much anyone again.

SUBARU:

• This is all hitting him like a brick.

• He’s a mess.

• He can’t stop thinking that maybe his s/o would be better off with the best friend instead of him. He is a parasitic monster after all. Maybe…it would be better if he let his s/o go.

The youngest of four

Her eldest brother Yusuke, her older sister Yuna, her twin brother (who was born 2 hours earlier) Yuito, then Yui.

Yusuke and Yuna are fully Japanese while Yuito and Yui are half East-European

Yusuke and Yuna had a different mother than Yuito and Yui.

Yui has an orthodox name: Anastasia (Anya) Vasiliev

Yuito is Aleksandr (Alex) Vasiliev

Yusuke and Yuna go by catholic names: Jeremias and Juliette Lazarus

Her mother is Natsia Vasiliev

She was a low-class vampire who was filled with greed, so she decided to become a handmaiden at Seiji’s manor in order to seduce him, have his children, and demand money.

After all of her plans failed, she drugged Seiji and raped him

Once she was pregnant, she threaten Seiji to spread all over the demon realm that he committed adultery with a low class demon, unlike his current wife Hanako (Helena Lazarus) if he didn’t give her enough money so she could be comfortable

She didn’t even want to keep her children once she got the money, so she ditched them with Seiji.

Alas, Seiji still loved Yui and Yuito. So he and Hanako kept them nd treated them like family.

She was born with Yuito on June 21, 1901

The reason why she was made the ‘heiress to the Komori throne’ was because Yusuke fell in love with a werewolf (violation of vampire law) and was banished to the Miasma islands in the demon world (it’s just really hot and everything at some weird black miasma around it he’s immune to, he and his wife Yuri are living happily together), Yuna loathed absolutely everything about Seiji and swore to never associate with him or anything involving the vampire throne, and Yuito just calmly passed the responsibility down to Yui.

She couldn’t say no at that point

She has many nicknames in the demon realm, such as: Anya the Blood Heiress, the Trinity Cross, the Rose, etc.

Yui lives by herself in the Komori Manor, with the exception of a few servants.

For someone who’s loaded, you’d think she wouldn’t have to lift a finger.

Nope, she does all of the cooking, gardening, and sometimes cleaning herself

That’s why she was so happy when Seiji told her that she was having guest staying with her from now on...Until he explained her situation.

Basically, six people with pure blood are sent to the Komori manor as ‘food banks’, one of them is the true blood Adam and will help make her the Eve of the demon realm

Nevertheless, she was still happy about not being alone.

Yui has the complete opposite demeanor of what a vampire should act like/are perceived to act like.

Most vampires are sadistic, cruel, unforgiving, wouldn’t look twice at a human, usually arrogant, thinks everyone around them are weak, etc.

Nah, Yui’s all like: smiling, giving kindness to others, being helpful, friendly, caring, motherly, nurturing, equal to everyone, understanding, etc

So that’s why the Sakamaki brothers brushed her off when they first met her.

But now we get into her Sadistic side.

Yui has a completely different personality in her that sleeps, only wakes up to feed or pretty much take control when she feels like it. Sadistic is very much like the typical aristocrat vampire.

Normal Yui hates talking about or when Sadistic wakes up because it means she’ll lose control and Sadistic will destroy the trust she built with her humans.

When Sadistic wakes up, Yui’s eyes turn blood red.

Yui has to watch everything Sadistic does and she can’t take it.

That’s why she tries so hard to get along, have people’s trust, and make up for Sadistic’s words

Yui has some control over Sadistic, that’s why the boys don’t die after Sadistic feeds on them.

Yui is very innocent while Sadistic is very nasty and so not innocent if you catch my drift.

When she was little, she couldn’t bare to hurt a creature for blood, so she starved herself until her father make her drink blood via transfusions/cups of blood so she wouldn’t die on him.

She stopped doing that when she was around 13 in vampire years, but it always hurt her on the inside to hurt someone for blood.

She really does care for all of the Sakamaki boys, even if they brush her off because she seemed weak or she terrified them.

She helped Ayato find something around to Manor to do as a past time because there was no internet here...Or a phone line.

Gave Reiji the room with the largest study and always

Ayato: Since he is main bae in the original series, there’s gonna be lots of cute things, 

Kanato: i feel like there might be a lot of bonding in this route, of course it’s eventual, but when the time comes Kanato just clings onto Yui. This can help out a little bit with his complex about being the ignored child and help him move on. Possibly help him grow up a little? But then again, we love our man-child.

Laito: ear porn This route could go either ways, it either helps Laito rip away the playboy act and get over his problems about his mother (and him being sexually abused) or it helps him become more...Child-like again? Like before Cordelia fucked him over. 

For the triplets, there might be a discovery arc about why their mother was involved with a family of vampires for some reason.

Shuu: I feel like Shuu’s route would probably be a healing route for him, from being cold, emotionless, tired, and shut-in, to someone who can get over his past. Even though it still lingers, I think Yui helps him out with his ptsd and depression and he gets better throughout the playthrough.

Reiji: The route that holds most of the actual plot. But there is still memorable moments between Reiji and Yui that satisfy the soul and goes over some of Reiji’s issues.

Subaru: Maybe a mix between a healing and a discovery route. Like Subaru finds out his mother was involved with the Komoris somehow and he’s trying to get the answer some how from Yui, the more time they spend together they fall in love and they have to come over some epic plot I can’t think of while he tries to heal after the ptsd of watching his mother suffer her days in that locked cage his father called her room.

All of them will have the main plot of the story, though.

In each route, Yui’s struggles will be revealed.

Ayato: Her mother, definitely 

Kanato: Sadistic’s origins

Laito: Her mother / Struggling with controlling Sadistic

Shuu: Hayato / the depression of being practically immortal.

The Komori family is filled with pure-blooded vampires that go back for several generations (well, except Yui and Yuito)

Has a summer home and a winter home. The summer home when the bounty hunters get into town and the winter home for when the war was happening in the city the summer home was located at.

Sadistic formed in her when the servants were abusing her, when Yui had enough Sadistic came over and killed the servants and hid them before Yui ‘woke up’.

The only kind of makeup Yui knows how to do is Victorian-styled.

anyway here’s ur headcanons

Shu

He would be significantly more expressive.  And by that I mean not very much, but noticeably more emotive.  

He’s surprisingly pretty good at communicating.  He just says what’s on his mind whenever he feels like it and is very, very direct about what he wants.  It’s good, but it can be flustering from time to time.

Not very fond of pet names.  He’ll accept some modest ones like “babe” or “dear” but if you call him Shu Bear he might murder.

Most of all, he’s definitely more emotional, at least around his s/o.  He wouldn’t be scared of expressing himself, whether that be in joy (like sending really, really adorable pictures of animals or his favorite composition at the time) or sadness (like crying).

Also, if you don’t expect cuddling in bed with his s/o you are very, very wrong.  Shu is extremely cuddly when alone with his s/o.

He’s not a fan of PDA per se, just because he thinks that when other people do it, it’s gross.  That being said, if he wants to hold his s/o’s hand, his s/o’s hand will be held.  End of story.  On that note, he likes holding hands.

Reiji

Reiji is a ton more sarcastic around his s/o.  Lots of dry and dark humor.  It’s basically the stuff he would sort of chuckle to himself when doing busywork alone, but now he has someone to listen!

That being said, he tends to ramble on a lot.  He really likes it when his s/o just sort of sits there and listens to him, because he has a lot to say, and no one aside from him to really give a shit.  He’ll never admit it under normal circumstances, but he appreciates that immensely.

He MELTS under praise.  Even if he seems to be completely unphased, it’s not true.  He is lying.  Even calling him cute simply destroys him.  This poor boy has been neglected his entire life this is a literal blessing to him.

He’s definitely a lot more lenient with his s/o than anyone else in the godforsaken mansion, but he’s also a lot stricter when it comes to his s/o’s safety.  This can cause a lot of fights, and Reiji, since it’s about the person he loves, can get very emotional in them.  He genuinely means well, for once, so the best one can do is sit down and talk to him.

He will start petty disagreements over nothing just to pester his s/o.  You think that blazer is red?  No bitch, it’s blood orange.

He avoids PDA entirely, as he sees it as impolite, but you can bet your ass that if he’s sitting next to his s/o on the couch, his arm will be around them.

Ayato

Definitely a ton more open with his s/o.  A lot less of the “I’m the greatest” schtick, since he can trust them with anything.  He has no doubts that his s/o will love him for who he is, so he tends to let his guard down a lot.

He smiles a lot more!!!! How could he not!!!!!! He’s just so god damn in love!!!!!!!!! The living embodiment of the “i love my fuckign girlfriend” meme.

EXTREMELY physical, and I don’t even mean this in a sexual way.  He just loves physical contact.  It’s reassuring to him; he knows it’s not a dream, it’s real, he genuinely has someone he’s in love with that loves him back.  Whether it’s by hand-holding, arm around their shoulders, hugging, or anything else, Ayato is always attached to his s/o.

Very doting.  If his s/o was in a bind, he would move mountains to help them.  Number one most supportive boyfriend.  Would literally put his entire being on the line for his s/o because god damn he is just so fucking in love.  As you can see, Ayato never does anything half-ass, romance included.

Definitely not the traditional romantic; unless his s/o really wanted it, he would never do like fancy candlelit dinners and shit.  He focuses more on what he thinks he and his s/o will enjoy the most.  He’d probably also enjoy lazy nights at the mansion a lot, too.

Would definitely write the sappiest love songs and serenade the FUCK out of his s/o. 

Kanato

If you expected the yandere to tone down, you’re wrong.  It tones the fuck up.  He’s highkey extremely possessive and gets jealous easier than any of the other guys.  His s/o’s hanging out with another boy???who is this boy????where is he from????can I kill him immediately this second????? It would definitely cause a lot of arguments, but he means it out of love.

TEA PARTY DATES

Kanato’s favorite thing is resting his head in his s/o’s lap, with his s/o stroking his hair.  They don’t even have to be talking; just the two of them there enjoying each other is enough for him.

Surprisingly also very supportive, but in a more destructive way.  S/o wants a new job?  Okay, shred up every other application so they have to hire you.  S/o wants to be the new student council president?  No problem, just sabotage the other candidate.

That being said, he does genuinely listen to his s/o, and would probably (begrudgingly) tone down the shit if they were angry.  He’d still get highkey frustrated and take it out in other ways though.  Like baking!

Bakes apology cakes because he is not very good at expressing himself in words.

Laito

Hopeless romantic.  Is anyone surprised?  Nope, and neither would his s/o be when they discover his bedroom lit by only candles with rose petals on the bed.

Number one best listener!  He listens to everything with genuine care and tries to give the best advice possible!  Unfortunately, his plan usually involves intercourse in some way shape or form so it never really works.  Like, ever.

He cares about the little things.  It’s not that he’s obsessed or living in a bubble, he just really wants his s/o to be happy.  He’ll do almost anything for his s/o, aside from maybe murder depending on the day.  Well, killing in the name of your s/o is kinda romantic, so maybe.

Loves seeing his s/o in expensive things.  Fancy clothes, fancy jewelry, fancy shoes, fancy ;) lingerie ;) so he tends to spoil them quite a bit.

Contrary to popular belief, his mind is not always in the gutter.  It’s like, usually at least half a step away, but he genuinely enjoys going on casual dates that don’t lead to intercourse, like stargazing.  He loves stargazing.

Probably the only brother actually into PDA, so here’s to hoping his s/o at least doesn’t mind it.

Subaru

This boy makes a conscious effort day in and day out to be as gentle as possible at all times.  He’s scared to even hug his s/o too hard.  Once he gets past that initial fear, in private, he is by far the most affectionate out of the brothers.  If he and his s/o have time alone to cuddle, no if and or buts.  It’s happening.

He only gives gifts on anniversaries and holidays, but his gifts are always extremely well thought out and have some sort of meaning to them.  He puts a lot of effort into picking something he thinks his s/o would genuinely love.

Pal, Subaru would die if called by a pet name.  Darling, sweetheart, honey, love, he melts every single time and gets this cute little giddy grin on his face.

Subaru is all-around very cautious about what to do with an s/o.  He always asks before doing anything.  Even something as little as holding their hand.  He’s all about keeping them as comfortable as possible.

He’d definitely try to be super romantic but probably fall short of something traditional and beat himself up over it, but it always ends up being sweet and well thought out.  He just wants the best for his s/o and tries very hard to make everything special.

He also isn’t a huge fan of PDA.  Too shy.  Plus lord knows Kou would not shut up about it if he saw Subaru being super duper fucking adorable with his s/o.

Azusa: Would be deeply upset and assume that you had to take another lover simply because he wasn’t good enough. However, it’s safe to assume that even if Azusa doesn’t kill you (he probably won’t) then one of his brothers will.

Kou: Pictures of you cheating on him are all over social media in seconds - he doesn’t need to deal with you, his fans can handle that. Bullying will become so relentless that you may even choose to take your own life.

Yuma: He would become to blinded in his own rage that he’d probably end up accidentally killing you. Later he may wish that he’d remained calm and talked it out.

Reiji: Upon discovering the two of you (in your shared bed, none the less!), he politely requests for the girl to leave, but she probably won’t make it out of the mansion doors. Meanwhile, you’re in for one hell of a punishment, one that will make you wish for death.

Shu: May make a comment about joining in but doesn’t stay for long. After the girl has left you try to find him and talk but he’s insistent upon ignoring him. It’s not until Laito corners you that you realize he’s temporarily given his brothers permission to mess with you.

Subaru: Similarly to Yuma, he descends into an instant rage and before you can blink there’s a bloody corpse lying beside you and you’re being chocked. It’s not until the edges of your vision begin to go black that he releases you, warning you not to move an inch and he’ll be back later to talk.

Laito: As expected, he asks to join in, even going as far as briefly groping the girl and forcing a kiss upon her just to see you squirm. He tells you that him and the other ‘bitch’ will now be leaving to have their own fun, but she doesn’t ever leave the mansion. You will also be given a punishment so severe that you’d rather you were dead. Laito hates sharing you.

Ayato: Seeing you with someone else is a harsh hit on his ego and he kills the girl before you can even offer up an explanation. Any remaining anger is instantly taken out on you in the form of bites and rough sex to remind you just who you belong to.

Kanato: Well, at least Kanato’s rage isn’t as bad as it would’ve been - he’s got a new doll to add to his collection after all! As punishment Kanato would bite you harder than he’s ever bitten you before and force you to help with the production of his new doll, never failing to ask you to get elbows-deep with the bloody bits.
