hello friends !

this is a post i really don't want to make, but i really need help right now, and this is my biggest platform to ask for it.

a few of you might know that i was diagnosed in 2020 with a brain tumour (an oligodendroglioma) and since then, i've been undergoing different treatments and surgeries to try and kill it.

the treatment finally worked earlier this year, and around april, i was given the news that my tumour had been put to sleep. but on friday, i had a scan to check that things are stable, and unfortunately they aren't. my tumour is awake and growing again.

it's growing deeper into my brain, to a place that my surgeon is wary to operate bc of the location. my oncologist has told me firmly that i can't be offered any more radiotherapy treatment bc i've already had it.

the tumour has affected my mental and physical health in so many ways, and now it's growing back on top of everything. i've got very few treatment options, and i was recently let go from my long term employment due to long-term ill health.

rent is a monthly worry, my eyesight has been affected by the tumour and i need glasses that i can't afford to buy, i haven't been to therapy in almost three months bc i can't afford the appointments... the list goes on.

to try and raise some money, i'm selling every kpop photocard that i own bc i have hundreds of the things and they're just sitting in binders collecting dust and they're the only things of value that i have left to sell.

Hi! I've never seen any research that specifically ties sex itself at a young age to adverse mental effects. There's a lot of fearmongering research calling rape "sex" and pointing out how that has adverse mental affects but that applies to rape at any age.

Just sex itself has no proven adverse mental effects dependent on age. Unless someone wants to correct me with an actual paper?? [Fr, I'm always open to reading research, even if it takes me forever to get through it.]

Sex itself can be unhealthy if you're having it with people who don't treat you respectfully, or if you don't want to be having it at all but that's also true regardless of age and can also apply to many different things!

[Sex can also be unhealthy if it's not actually sex. What I mean by that is if you're being raped/sexually abused. For example, you're a kid/teen dating an adult [someone 18+]: what you're having in that situation isn't sex, it's rape.

Same if someone is pressuring/guilting you into having "sex" with them: that's rape. Or if someone threatens you, or they "have sex" with you without getting your consent. That's rape.]

But as long as your friend is safe and enjoying themselves, I wouldn't worry too much. Hopefully, since your friend already knows this guy has gotten someone pregnant [if that's not a rumor], they'll be extra careful!

But even if that doesn't work, there are options on what to do if they get pregnant and/or think they weren't safe enough. And having support behind them is a much better option than just not having sex.

And yes, while it's absolutely okay to have trauma responses-Its in fact, very understandable but sometimes they can be harmful for you.

It depends sometimes but its definitely a good idea to keep an eye on your trauma responses to make sure you're not relying on them too heavily and if they're actually helping you or if they're making you feel worse.

But also don't judge yourself too much for your trauma responses, especially when you're still stuck in a traumatizing situation, because they help keep you alive! Be kind to yourself.

Sure "discipline" is cool but... That shit takes a LONG TIME to develop and it only comes with experimentation and see what you believe in and what you enjoy. Don't get.... heh...... heh heh..... BRAINWASHED!!! by women hating bald bastards online who wanna turn you into a fun hating robot that's all about "work work work." Fuck them.

You are a human with flesh, blood, bones, a heart and a brain. You are not a machine. Got it?

Anyways, in talks of art, i wanna give my own sort of help for my writer friends out there! I thought it would be fun and plus, there's too many damn writing tips out there that boil down to "you HAVE to do this thing, you HAVE to follow this structure" and i think that is bullshit. Complete and utter bullshit that gives you more stress than needed. You know how many boring mid action movies come out that follow the hero's journey? The three act structure? The story circle? It is better to just make shit and learn what you could do for next time.

There are no rules, all of the "rules of storytelling" are just optional suggestions that you can either take or leave. Plus it seems like every fucking YouTuber has a different set of rules that conflict with each other anyways. However, I wanna share my own sort of "basic ass fundamentals of stories" that can fit into any story structure you want! I got these guidelines from the YouTube channel The Closer Look. I like their content, it's very insightful.

Here's Dr. Spectre's basic ass fundamentals for stories.

Characters. Simple, a story must have characters otherwise you are making something else that is not a story.

Progression. Is there a sense of progression? Does it feel like for every second of story it isn't stagnating or getting dull and boring? Does it feel like shit is happening and growing? If it feels boring to read for you, then it's gonna be boring for another person reading it. Progression could be plot based or character based and them growing as the story goes on. Doesn't matter which one, can be both or one. Good stories never feel like they are staying the same or spinning their wheels.

Delivery (Aka. Setup and payoff). Do you deliver on the promises in the story? And do you deliver them in a way where the audience after they finishing reading or watching, they felt like it was all worthwhile and they didn't waste time consuming your story.

Everything else? IT'S OPTIONAL!!! COMPLETLY OPTIONAL! YOU KNOW HOW MANY STORIES BREAK THE "RULES"?! Do not become reliant and dependent on these "rules" because it'll slow your development and discourage experimentation. Not every story is gonna fucking follow the Save The Cat format.

There is also the talk of theme and i will say this.

Theme is not "this story is about sex, drugs, greed." No. Theme is a message or argument, it is not a word, it is something you are trying to say via a story. People don't have to agree with the theme, but it must make people think about it. If your story is about sex, what is it trying to say about sex? That sex is a scary thing and that it's okay to feel scared and worried about your first time? What are you trying to say about greed? Etc. Etc.

I read through a Sonic comic recently that everyone loves called Scrapnik Island and guess what? I fucking love that comic too.

Scrapnik Island isn't truly about Sonic and Tails getting stuck on an island and Mecha Sonic is there and he becomes evil and does all this stuff. No, what it's ACTUALLY about is that your worth as a person isn't determined by successes and failures, Mecha Sonic feels like he is worthless and is a failure because he not only failed to kill Sonic, but also failed to help his friends on Scrapnik Island. However, Sonic snaps him out of that bullshit mindset and it's truly, truly wonderful stuff.

Splatoon 2: Octo Expansion isn't truly about Agent 8 being trapped in a facility and defeating an evil ai. It talks about racism and what does it talk about specifically? That it doesn't matter what someone looks like, as long as they are a good person that's all that matters. That life is varied and beautiful and it's worth protecting from those who wish to destroy it.

There's a reason why Agent 8 takes the time to soak in the fresh air and sunlight near the end of Octo Expansion, why Eight has memcakes to collect and we see their thoughts and wishes. it's there to explore that theme, that idea of what the story is truly about.

Splatoon as a franchise is about how wonderful creativity itself is, that art and life are connected and grow together and are important and deserved to be protected. Commander Tartar, Mr. Grizz and Overlorder are all opposed to that idea and that's why they are the antagonists. DJ Octavio less so because he is trying to save his own culture and art, even as to go far as manipulating a mentally ill Callie who was already growing distain and tiredness from her own culture, so it just so happens that these two chaotic forces share the same ideology.

Now, I wanna say, do you NEED a theme to make a story? No. BUT! If you don't have something to say and that connective tissue, then it's gonna weaken everything else and the action, plot and characters have to be fucking top notch. The "Rule of Cool" only works when... you know.... it's cool? And well done?

Anyways, I've rambled long enough. Please keep making art, please? Especially now considering what has happened. I need you to hold onto hope, hold onto creativity and fun. You must. You have to...

my musings on how to leave longer & more regular comments on fics:

We all know comments are good - readers have probably heard authors on tumblr talk about how valuable comments are for ages, and I hope most of the authors reading this have felt that validating joy first hand.

But we also all have lives, and only so much energy in a given day. Maybe you have worries about leaving a comment that's too "weird", or "awkward". Maybe you LOVE a fic, but have no idea how to put those strong emotions into words. Maybe you leave short comments, but wish you felt comfortable crafting the paragraph-long detailed comments that some readers gift to their favorite fics.

If you've ever thought about trying to comment more often, or trying to leave longer comments, then here are some ramblings of mine that will (hopefully!) bring comment-inspiration your way.

Lower the mental stakes:

When I first joined a writing discord, I was genuinely blown away at the amount of support and love the HRPF community contains. I was also blown away at the amount of people that were actually reading my works and messaging about them!! It is still one of the coolest feelings ever.

In my mind, this is an example of a "lower stakes" ways to talk about fics: messaging a friend, or a group chat, or a discord server.

It takes a lot less energy for me to type a rambling text about how much I love the fic I'm currently reading vs. typing a cohesive, well-thought out comment for the author themselves.

One of those two options is much more intimidating!

I want so badly to tell the author how much I love their fic, but I'll never find the time to write all the things they deserve to hear!! So the tab sits open on my phone for months, and the comment never gets written.

If you relate to this: try to lower the "mental stakes" of writing your comment. Remember: this is a fun thing!! Fic is fun!! And I promise, you don't have to write the "perfect" comment to make an author's day.

A potential solution: treat the comment box a bit more like a message to your group chat. Not in a rude way - let's stay polite to the writers in our community, and recognize when unsolicited feedback isn't wanted.

But instead of forcing yourself to always have the "perfect" comment, think of something lighter. Think of what you would text to a friend if you were going to send them a link to the fic: maybe "dude this fic is so funny you need to read it", OR "this is INSANELY good", OR "i've been reading this all morning you need to check it out right now".

Then write that!

Comment: "this fic is so funny oh my god. love it!"

Comment: "this is INSANELY good"

Comment: "SCREAMING. I LOVE THIS"

Comment: "i haven't been able to put this done all morning! sooooo good!"

Comment: "i read the first chapter of this fic and instantly knew i had to send it to all my friends. i love this so much!!!"

Also, this might just be personal preference but: a discord message can get lost to time. AO3 is an archive, and comments there are much easier to look back on!!

So send that discord message to the author in a server you're in - they're going to appreciate it so much!! But consider copy-pasting that as a comment in AO3 as well, no matter how short it might be. It means a lot!!

How do I comment on porn?!?!?!?

PWP fics are known to have a large number of hits, with less kudos and even less comments.

Listen. I get it.

Especially in a fandom like HRPF, where many fics are user-locked, it can be intimidating to comment with no chance to hide behind anonymity.

But remember this: anybody who might "see your username" has also clicked into that very same fic and gone alllllll the way to the end. We're all in this together!!! I promise!!

Maybe the actual logistics are difficult for you - how do I leave a comment on an 8k porn-no-plot fic?? how do I explain that I love this fic without making the author uncomfortable?? - so in that case, let me give a few brief ideas for you to work off of.

Some words I like to use a lot: dirty, nasty, HOTTTT, sexy, intimate, vivid.

If you're feeling especially blindsided by the Everything of it all: i like to throw in a good "stupidly hot". "my brain is melting out of my ears". "soooooo dirty nasty hot". "WHEWWWW this is making me feel insane".

Don't overthink it!!!! Speak your truth!!!

And, final point: don't be afraid to highlight specific favorite parts, like you would with any other fic! Say it with your chest! If you liked the frottage, then say "the thigh riding was sooooo stupidly hot". I promise, the author put it in because they also thought the same thing!!!! It's going to make their day (and maybe result in more fics with that same favorite part of yours).

My approach to paragraph-long commenting:

I just want to reiterate: there is no right or wrong way to write a comment. But here's the general breakdown of how I think about leaving more detailed comments, if you want some ideas.

I copy snippets from the fic that call out to me as I read

I go into my clipboard to paste them all into the comment box

I write 1-2 sentences about WHY i copied down that specific snippet

Sometimes, it might be hard to know exactly why you were so affected by a given line. Here's some things you might especially appreciate in a fic:

Characterization: maybe the dialogue felt especially realistic. maybe the character's decisions made a lot of sense to you. maybe the way two characters interact is just exactly how you picture it. write that down in one sentence!! done!

Prose/writing style: maybe the line was a really gorgeous metaphor, piece of dialogue, etc. copy and paste that shit into your comment + add some "!!!"s, or maybe a single sentence like "this is so so gorgeous" or "INSANE metaphor" or "beautiful prose i'm chewing on glass"

The plot: "I have no idea where this is going next, and I can't wait to find out" / "OH MY GOD THE CLIFFHANGER"

The emotions you felt while reading it: this one's an easy one I promise! "the way you wrote [CHARACTER]'s pain hurt sooooo good" / "this is making me feel ill" / "i actually gasped out loud on the bus" / "i'm so nervous for the next chapter" / "i'm SO excited by where this fic is going" / "i teared up reading this"

A long comment will come organically & very easily, even if you only have 2 copy-pasted snippets!! And the author gets to hear very specific feedback about exactly what you're enjoying - that's SO unbelievably rewarding to hear.

So, my personal call to action: challenge yourself to go one step further!

If you don't usually leave comments: try leaving one or two one-line comments this week. Throw in a quick "i love this!!" next to that kudos!

If you usually leave one-line comments: try leaving a couple sentences! describe one specific thing you liked about the fic, or one specific emotion you had.

If you often leave comments on the fics of people you know: try going outside your comfort zone and commenting on a stranger's fic. you got this!

Push yourself one step further, whatever that means for you! It's such a beautiful thing, to be able to read and love and discuss fic in a shared community, and it's worth the effort!

"Isabeau picked Sif, Bonnie picked Frin.." Mirabelle jumps, horror dawning upon her. "I... I have no letters left!!!" Siffrin tilts their head, watching her like an amused cat. They stick their tongue out at her. Teasing..!! Even in these difficult times, they tease her!! She puffs out her cheeks, now determined to find a new nickname. She’s never taken a class on nicknames, but she's sure that if she tries hard enough, she'll come up with something...!!!

Mirabelle feels like Siffrin is a different person than they were this morning. They’re opening up, reaching out to everyone in their party. They even talked things out with Bonnie. Seeing them laughing together, like they did before Siffrin lost his eye, fills her heart with delight.

She doesn’t know why they’re acting like this out of nowhere, but she’s not going to pry. Despite the circumstances, this past day has been wonderful, her bond with her friends stronger than ever before. Though their journey through the House fills her with fear, she knows they’ve got her back.

After defeating another strong Sadness, the traveler leads you into a big, empty room. They declare it safe after a brief inspection. Bonnie calls for another snack time. You lay down your rapier, and sit in a circle with your friends.

It turns out that Siffrin handled things with Bonnie better than Mirabelle could have imagined. He probably wanted to talk to them now, in case the King… no. They’ll slay the King, save Vaguarde, and they’ll be okay. Bonnie’s determination could single handedly defeat him.

With their confidence boosted, everyone’s ready to tackle the last floor. Like he did after their last snack break, Siffrin checks in on everyone. When they get to her, a smile that you can’t help breaks out across her face. “Siffrin!” She says, joy seeping from your voice.

He blinks at you. Despite his newfound openness, she still can’t read his expressions.

She giggles. “Sorry, I just wanted to say your name.”

“Mira!” He replies, a smile now on his face. It doesn’t meet his eyes, but his smiles almost never do. Her heart still fills with warmth at the sight.

She giggles again. Feeling bold, she says, “Sif!”

“NO.”

She startles, tensing up. Eyes wide, she looks to Isabeau, who’s glaring at her. “Sif is MY Siffrin nickname, Mira. You HAVE to pick another one,” he crosses his arms, shaking his head. “I’m sorry. I won’t budge on that.”

Mirabelle can only continue to stare at him in shock. What?? What?? Only his nickname?? That’s not how it works!! That’s- what about Mira?? What about Bonbon?? She can’t get her thoughts in order, so she’s grateful when Madame Odile interrupts with a frustrated groan.

“GEMS ALIVE, Isabeau.”

The fighter startles like a cat with bristled fur. He stammers for a moment, giving you a chance to collect your thoughts.

“What? B-but you and Siffrin share ‘Mira’!!” She squeezes her hands together. Next to her, Siffrin hides under their hat. “It’s not fair!!!”

Instead of stammering, Isa falls quiet for a moment. Then, he sighs, and the tension in his body dissipates. “That’s true.” In a second, he’s back to his usual cheerful self. “Alright, in the spirit of fairness, we can get joint custody on “Sif”, then!”

Though he’s smiling again, Mirabelle can’t shake her anxiety just yet. Even she can tell that this is important to Isabeau. He usually never gets upset, so for him to do so right now, even if only over a silly nickname… She’d rather not upset him further. She’d choose him over a nickname in a heartbeat.

“... You know, I think I’ll pick another nickname for Siffrin after all.”

She plays with the jingly things on her cloak, trying to think of a nickname for her friend. They’re still standing before her, unspeaking, observing her. She mutters to herself, considering her options. Can’t be “Sif”, Isabeau picked that one. Bonnie picked “Frin”, so… so…!

You jump. “I… I have no letters left…!”

Siffrin tilts their head, watching her like an amused cat. They stick their tongue out at her. Teasing..!! Even in these difficult times, they tease her!! She puffs out her cheeks, now determined to find a new nickname. She’s never taken a class on nicknames, but all of her friends have them, so… if she just studies those…

Bonnie calls Odile ‘Dile’, Siffrin ‘Frin’, and herself ‘Belle’. Looks like they just remove the first part of the name to get their nicknames. They already got ‘Frin’, though… maybe ‘Iffrin?’ ‘Rin’? No. It sucks. She’ll die before she gives them a sucky nickname.

Only for Isabeau they use ‘Za’, so.. ‘Ziffrin’? … if all else fails, she can use that. Oh, no, wait- would Bonnie take that as making fun of them?? Making fun of their nicknames?? No. She has to use something else.

Madame Odile doesn’t use nicknames. She calls everyone their full names, including Boniface.

Mirabelle’s not risking taking inspiration from Isabeau.

Siffrin uses ‘Mira’, ‘Isa’, ‘Bonnie’... Oh!! OH!!! ‘Bonnie’!!!

If all the letters are taken, why not add on more?? ‘Siffrinnie’?? ‘Siffrie’??? Wait, no!! You’ve got it!!!

“Siffie!” She grins. Siffrin, who has by now walked away from her, looks to her in surprise. “Siffie!! I’ll call you Siffie!!”

Their eyes widen. They quickly hide under their hat, a telltale sign that they’re hiding something. Loudly, Isabeau ‘Awww’s, and so does Odile, but quieter. Bonnie laughs.

“I told you that you could use ‘Sif’, Mira!! Why’d you go and make a cuter nickname?” Isabeau laments, placing a hand over his heart. “You’re making me look bad!”

She puffs up, proud to have created a cuter nickname than ‘Sif’. “You should have let me use yours when you had the chance. We’re at war now.” His laugh that follows is boisterous, filling up the room.

“Maybe I’ll start calling you ‘Siffie’ too.” Odile teases. Siffrin grumbles something unintelligible.

Mirabelle glares at Isa, pouting. “But of course. Everyone is allowed to call Siffie that.”

“Yeahhh!!” Bonnie grins, their eyes creasing into thin lines. “We’ll call you Siffie forever!!! No Frin, no Sif,” Isabeau winces, “No Siffrin!!! Only Siffie!!!”

The housemaiden giggles. “Only if they like it!” Despite the warm reception, Siffrin hasn’t said a word about what they feel. She intertwines her fingers and looks at them. “Do you?”

“... It’s fine.” Siffie says, still hiding under their hat.

I got bored and made a future Moomin valley AU and gave them all little happy families

So my Moomin valley fixation came back after like 5 whole years, and originally these were just meant to be one off little ship kid concepts but I grew attached to them and the idea of it and eventually it kinda evolved into a next generation AU in the span of like 3 days… Hope I’m not too late to the party chat…

I’ve been thinking up a LOT about this AU, but I’ll just give a basic run down rlly fast:

Lumi and Linna are best friends and basically take over the roles of snufkin and moomin, who are now lumis parents, the AU is very slice of life and follows a lot of the main lessons from the original moomin shows (Especially a veeeerrryyy familiar dilemma about a friend feeling sad over one choosing to leave for the winter)

Lumi is similar to Snufkin where she has a big urge to get away from social situations and be on her own, and can really only spend prolonged amount of time with her parents (or Linna in certain situations). Despite looking almost exactly like snufkin, she acts a lot like Joxter and it’s no suprise the two are actually very close especially considering their equal love for sleeping and hating authority. Despite her love for sleeping and her indifference to the idea of hibernation, ever since Lumi was able to choose she’s always chose to go south with Snufkin. Even if this makes Linna sad.

Linna is much more social than Lumi, and doesn’t mind speaking her mind and having fun with others. She takes after Snorkmaiden with her love for Romance, and often fantasizes about her “Prince Charming.” Linna, unlike Lumi, has hibernated for all her life, even after she was given the option to hibernate or not, she often wishes that Lumi would stay for the winter, but Lumi is insistent on traveling, but the two are always happy to meet again during the spring and go on their normal adventures. She usually acts as the “pact leader” and is often the one leading the games and day plans, but Lumi helps take charge when they are going on adventures as she is best at it.

There’s a couple side characters that are turned into more important roles, like for example in this AU the joxter is actually a reoccurring character !! (Let’s just pretend that Joxter and Snufkin met & rekindle their relationship and so now Joxter gets to be a silly grandfather!!)

That’s pretty much the basic rundown, and yes I did choose to ship snorkmaiden and Ninny, it was last minute but I thought it’d be actually rlly cute unironically.

Anyways Here’s some extra doodles I made cause I wanted to attempt to replicate Tove’s doodling style to finish off this post, so enjoy these!! And thank you for reading!!

Paintbrush is a tank!!

They’re a mid range melee fighter thats heavy n slow but does high damage

ok heres the actual moveset

Passive- PAINT SPILL

The more you attack, the more paint you lose. Losing paint increases your attack speed but decreases damage dealt. Regain paint slowly overtime or by 50% upon elimination.

Using your primary attack covers enemies in paint each time they are hit. At five stacks apply slow and vulnerability to an enemy.

Primary- (name pending)

Swing your paintbrush forward in a wide radius.

Secondary- DRYBRUSHING/(name pending)

If at less than 30% paint, quickly slash forward four times, favoring speed rather than damage. Doing this doesn’t add marks to an enemy.

With paint, slash twice, dealing knock back and applying slow to enemies hit.

Q- DIP!

At the cost of paint hold ‘Q’ to drag your paintbrush across the floor, giving you a small speed boost. Releasing ‘Q’ or running out of paint: jump and do a flip into the air before slamming your brush down, causing AoE damage.

If you run out of paint before attack finishes, deal significantly less damage.

E- (name pending)

Use your palette as a temporary shield for up to 15 seconds or until it is destroyed. Press E again while your shield is still up to toss your palette in front of you and knock back any enemies.

( Once you toss your shield it doesn’t come back to you until the ability cool down finishes. It’s not a boomerang )

My reasoning behind the moves I chose

you can skip to dialogue if you don’t feel like reading a ton of text cause there’s a lot lol.

My thought process behind the passive effect with the stacking and everything is like- they’re ‘covering’ their enemies in paint, so when covered in enough paint (the 5 stacks) it makes the enemy slower and leaves them more vulnerable if that makes sense. I also wanted paintbrush to have some sort of big limitation which is where the limited paint mechanic comes from cause I had a feeling i would probably accidentally make them too op lol.

Primary is pretty self explanatory. Though, the secondary im really proud of simply because I like the name ‘drybrushing’ lol.

The Q ability was actually suggested by a friend. Originally Q was just a dash ability to give paintbrush a chance to get away from faster characters since they’re naturally slower but i liked the lil flip idea just cause that seems fun :]

Also I called it ‘dip’ because the slam into the ground made me think of dipping a paint brush in paint? if that makes sense? (though.. that is a very aggressive way to get paint if ur doing it how Brush does in the attack lmao)

Ok my favorite, the E ability!! So if you haven’t seen my other post abt them (go look at it!! their ref sheet, lore and character relationships r there /nf)

But yeah if you haven’t seen it, Paintbrush is based off of the ‘powerful paintbrush’ item, which also comes with a palette that acts like a shield. I didn’t want to give them both a shield and their brush, so I decided to turn it into a ability.

I will say this ability is definitely the most thought out one. The idea is that since Paintbrush is slower they’re more susceptible to being rushed by faster characters like say- Skateboard or Biograft for example. So this shield is there to block those attacks, but also can be used to knock enemies back to give Brush a chance to escape. You can’t attack with the shield up so it’s use is purely to just deflect damage until you toss it or until it breaks/runs out.

Paintbrush: Uh.. yeah!

Biograft: IT IS LARGE AND INCONVENIENT.

Paintbrush: …Thanks?

Coil: Brush!? When did you get here?

Paintbrush: Pff- I’ve been here, Coil.

Paintbrush: An exploding sword? That’s pretty creative.

Sword: Thanks!

Sword: Wait, who are you?

Katana: Your paintbrush, is it not heavy?

Paintbrush: It is, but I’ve gotten used to it!

Hyperlaser: You’re quite skilled. Both as an artist and a phighter.

Paintbrush: Thanks! You’re not so bad yourself.

Paintbrush: As a uh, as a phighter- I mean.

Rocket: Brush! It’s good to see you again.

Paintbrush: Likewise, Rocket!

Rocket: Brush? When did you dye your horns?

Paintbrush: Not too long ago, did em’ myself!

Rocket: Huh, they look good!

Rocket: Yeah- I saw it.

it's actually just hit me that there's like... not really romance plots in dungeon meshi. they don't pair the cast off arbitrarily at the end. basically any character could be read as aroace/aspec really easily. that's honestly super cool!! it's refreshing to have a mainstream piece of media with the kind of approach to character relationships that emphasizes how important everyone's connections to each other are without making them explicitly romantic.
