Things i desperately want for Project Zomboid:

Bicycles

A cat!!!

Roller Skates

Ladders!

Baby stroller or handcart to transport heavy things for short distances (mostly for lots of materials or furniture and such)

Cargo pants with pockets

Growing my hair veeeery long (and keeping it in a loooong braid)

Head lamp

Let me paint metal crates and cars!!!!!!!

I have more but these are the most functional ones i guess

#mine #project zomboid #pz #i also want a million aesthetic things like cowboy boots and cute decorations and dying fabrics and stuff #(well the fanric dying is not just arsthetic that would be useful to tell items apart and shit)#i think fabric dying is planned for the next build and i rly hope you can keep cats as part of the animal system #god being able to paint metal crates would be so useful #and i WISH painting crates would make them look different in the little tabs of the inventory window that would make things much easier!#like different coloured backpacks have different thumbnails too! i wish we could have that for closets and crates and such as well #also i wish i could preserve meat and fish for longer (i know there are mods but they all have way more functions complicated for me)#oh also i want a million more kinds of teddy bears and plants and wall decorations and things i can put in my house ;^;#making concrete would also be useful (i think it has been planned before cause there are concrete bags in game but u cant use them)#the fact that u can make stairs but not ladders is also annoying and reminds me of playing sims lol #okay i think thats all i have for now ill probably add to this post when i got more stuff to complain about lol #(dont get me wrong i love this game to bits but man i wish i could mod!!! i have so many ideas!!)

i have been spending so much time adulting lately AND i just remembered i still haven't even done my taxes UGHHHHHH i am so tired. going to watch the two hours of kim's convenience scheduled on pluto every weeknight and edit some crosswords during the commercials.

#no time to watch cql today i spent all day 1) working 2) doing laundry and 3) trying to figure out how to avoid getting poisoned #with asbestos given i am a renter and have absolutely no control over what is done to my apartment #backstory is that my bathroom floor has been rotting for the past nine years and no one has done anything about it #but we got a new property manager recently and i brought it up with him and he has been SUPER on it. which is great!#except that i brought up the concept of asbestos today when the contractors were here to give a quote #and they all acted like it hadn't occurred to them before?? even though this building is 100 years old????#so that was a bad sign. then the guy told me his company were the ones who did the siding work last year #which means they're the ones i overheard saying outside my window 'YOU know there's lead in the paint. and I know there's #lead in the paint. but we're not gonna remove all of it' or whatever. great sign #and then i gave the name of the company to my friend who knows all about this shit and she looked it up and they don't have a license #for asbestos abatement...#so i'm getting really nervous #spent a bunch of time on the phone with my renter's insurance company to see if they could help me be proactive about it #by somehow idk putting pressure on my property management company to do it correctly? but they can't #AND i discovered. they can't even tell me what my policy covers. unless i submit a claim. and the claims adjusters won't even talk to me #unless there's damage to my belongings. and there ISN'T damage to my belongings NOW. i want to PREVENT it #ANyway. it's been this kind of shit and me trying to figure out if i can move AND trying to avoid the like 5 different ways i could be #laid off etc etc it's been a fun time AND I STILL HAVEN'T DONE MY TAXES!!!!!

it's the worst when 19th-century or earlier antique wooden furniture was actually painted white originally

damnit I came out to have a good time being a hater of McKartlynnes everywhere who go ham with the chalk paint and call it Shabby ChicTM and I'm honestly feeling so attacked right now

#antiques #tiffany problem #there's a room in one of the museums where I work that I would swear had been painted like that more recently #all the trim is white #but I know for a fact it's been like that since at least the 1890s #which is why you can't safely assume that ALL white-painted Victorian furniture started life as beautiful bare dark wood #same goes for the window seat and bannister in my apartment #this building is from 1895. there's a chance it started out like that #much as I'd love for it to all be warmly-gleaming cherry wood or something
