May not be the brightest caregiver but boy is he the sweetest

Would probably accidentally leave one of the kiddos on his back bc he’s got his hands full with the others, so they’re just hanging out behind him

The absolute best at pretend, he’s got stories and character roles all up his sleeves

Frank like to pretend that Howdy is turning into a butterfly, so he pretends he stays in a lil blanket cocoon and then emerges with these plastic butterfly wings on his back

It sends Frank into a frenzy every single time

If someone accidentally goes small at his Bugdega, he’ll drop everything and take them into the nearest bathroom so they can calm down and go small properly

He’ll also sneak a free treat in their pocket if they’re good, only if you’re good

Punishments are hard to give bc he’s pretty easily swayed, so he’ll probably just give you a slap on the wrist and scold you before sending you on your way

He loves his kids and he wants the best for them, he can’t stand to see them upset

This one is the hardest to figure out bc there isn’t much to know about her, but I’ll do my best

Also a default caregiver like Howdy, they are the ultimate parent duo

Always fussing over her kiddos, she’s got bandaids and Pepto Bismol in every corner of her house

She can be a bit stern when it comes to punishment, but she isn’t downright strict or mean

All she wants is for you to be careful

Her drawers are STACKED with toys, blankets, pacis, outfits, nappys, etc.

She always prepared when something is needed

She is the absolute best baker too; you’ll come to her house and it smells like freshly baked cookies

actually kogane isn't scared of asahi bc he's so used to aone and asahi cries over it

okay that and they also get him a really cute apron (embroidered with crows!!) for him to wear around the store and a bag of good coffee

kiyoko has all - and i mean ALL - the snacks from the local convenience store on a tier list and when the vbc asked how the fuck she managed to do that she just went "my track team was a lot weirder than you guys"

actually the reason why daichi asked kiyoko to be the manager wasn't because kiyoko was the only one with no club activities going on it was because she gave asahi a hair tie when nobody else would and asahi had been trying to befriend her since (and also return said hair tie) but was too nervous to make the first move

asahi: "noooooo daaaaaaaiiiichiiiiiiiiii i caaaaaaaan't i'm so awkward and embarrassing!!!!" daichi, with all the confidence of a fifteen-year-old constantly winging it: "it's okay, i've got this!"

Both of his parents were absolutely over the moon when he was born

Imagine being an only child in the Birch household, like ngl that sounds pretty sweet

He had their attention aaalll to himself, and he thoroughly enjoyed it 

He was quite an active child too, not like hyper but always doing something he was definitely not supposed to do, so he needed either one of his parents to watch him constantly anyways

I feel like he was a pretty “normal” child until Leah was born, sure he was a bit harder to watch than average 2-year-olds but it wasn’t to like a concerning degree or anything

That was until Leah was born

Suddenly having to deal with a new sister, unleashed little monster-gremlin Judd

Not even like five minutes after she was born, when he got to see her in the hospital, did he call her ugly and bald

He probably had an identity crisis when his dad told him he looked like that too

Anyways, Elliot was really empathic towards him, even though he was definitely becoming a bit of a spoiled brat

Like, he sat him down and was like “I know it’s hard for you to get a new sister, but think about how much she’s going to look up to you, blah blah..”

Judd did not listen

So for the next few years, his mission became causing as much trouble for everyone around him as possible and then finding a way to blame it on Leah

Obviously, no one believed that an infant thrashed the house and set fire to a bunch of ants in the backyard

(It was hard to believe toddler Judd even managed to do it lmfao)

That’s another thing, like he wouldn’t hurt big animals, like cats, dogs, raccoons, ect cause he likes those

But he’s definitely responsible for the bug population in town drastically decreasing lol

He would be that type of little kid who burns ants, crushes snails and squeezes bugs to death

I was reading IT right, and patrick apparently has a whole pencil case filled with dead flies AND WHY IS THAT SO JUDD

I could see him bringing that into kindergarten, and when it’s art time he pulls it out and shows the teacher’s kinda proudly and they’re all like 😧✋

This was how he ended in therapy, too

Diane getting a call like “Yeah, uh, your son has a pencil case full of dead bugs and he’s scaring everyone pls come pick him up”

She wasn’t even mad, bc if you’ve seen my other headcannons, yk it would just be even more confirmation that Judd definitely inherited a lot of things from her

He was definitely a very stab-happy kid too

I’m talking deliberately sharpening his pencils to a point and using them as weapons 

I can see him having a slingshot too, he would sit somewhere his dad couldn’t see and just shoot rocks at him

Poor Elliot, Judd’s abuse and gremlin behaviours definitely affected him the most

Diane could actually get angry so Judd didn’t dare mess too much with her, and Leah was just a baby so her reactions were usually pretty boring

She didn’t even care when Judd showed her the dead flies smh 🫤

So Elliot was the only good target 

Judd was very, very annoyed though, at how he never really got angry, like he’d always just praise Judd for his creativity 

If he’s too mean to his dad, Diane will also get mad at him lol

So it’s about finding a balance yk 

But back to the therapy thing

I don’t really think Judd got diagnosed with anything, besides being a creepy ass kid 

If being creepy is a mental illness, count me in too idc

But like, there’s nothing inherently wrong with him, he just really enjoys causing trouble

So the only thing the therapist recommended was stricter parenting

As both him and Leah got older, his plans of getting rid of her became more thought out as well

There’s that one scene where Nick is a newborn and Judd tries to set fire to Leah’s hair

That is definitely a recurring thing, like he realised if he truly wanted to get rid of Leah he’d have to try something,,, more effective than leaving her random places and trying to get his parents to hate her

So setting her hair on fire seemed like a good idea

I don’t think he grasped the idea that she could actually die, but like if her hair burned off she would be ugly and their parents wouldn’t like her anymore yk? Something like that

Where did a six year old get lighters?? I would like to fucking know 

This was also around the time he started to realise, that maybe murder and thrashing the house all the time was not a good idea

Diane probably had a talking to him, and was like “Now you’ve got a new brother, you can’t be trying to set his crib on fire or anything, you’re too old for that now”

That made him switch out his lighter for scissors and that was when is Chucky arc properly started

He cut a b i g chunk of Leah’s hair off while she slept, he cut up a lot of his dad’s clothes and tried to stab multiple of his teachers 

Like, one of his teachers would go on to have Leah and Nick later, and would always tell them the story of how much of a menace Judd was and show them their scissor scars

Judd was definitely very spoiled too, he used to act kinda like Nick when he was younger 

Little man’s thought he was king of the kindergarten fr 

Probably carried over into his first years at school too, like 1st to 5th grade Judd was not much different 

Omg,, he was a biter too

Like I can see Diane getting mad at him and hoisting him up by his shirt or something, to carry him to his room, but he would just try to bite her the whole time

The same with his teachers, you touch him, you get bitten

I can see him getting into a lot of fights with other boys at school too, either for making fun of him or his dad 

Elliot came to pick him up one day and was like singing a little goofy song or whatever, and the other kids wouldn’t stop making fun of him 

(Aw, that’s so cute, little Judd secretly defending his dad’s honour at school)

Bc he definitely wouldn’t tell his parents the real reason he got into a fight 

Also, if anyone was bullying Leah in the schoolyard, Judd would straight up just spawn

His spidey senses was tingling fr 

But he wouldn’t (And still won’t) hesitate to knock anyone who’s mean to his sister the fuck out 

I feel like he’d also secretly slip something delicious he got in his lunchbox into Leah’s

Like, if she had a bad day at school and Judd so happened to have a candy bar (probably stolen lets be honest) He would make it suddenly appear in Leah’s lunch box and act all oblivious about it

That’s another thing, Judd was straight up just born w/o a moral compass

Even as a kid, he didn’t really see stealing, violence, ect as wrong

Hi Riaaan!! I wanted to tell you that I read your recent success stories post (this one: https://www.tumblr.com/riansdiary/755714407932264448/my-new-success-stories-hello-everyone-this-is?source=share) and now I can understand loa more, thanks of that these days I have been consciously manifesting many things!! So I wanted to share my success stories with you too. First of all, sorry if I make grammar mistakes or if some parts are not understandable, English is not my first language, I'm still learning 🤕

It started yesterday right after I read the post I mentioned before, and a similar situation happened to me(?. I went to my grandmother's house to visit her and stayed the night, my nonna was having cereal with milk and fruits for dinner and I wanted to eat that too, but she told me that the cereal and the Milk were done, and she can buy me cereal and Milk BUT tomorrow morning (that's today). I wanted so badly to eat that for dinner, so I went to her room and meanwhile i was doing idk on my phone, I affirmed and visualized my grandma calling me to give me a bowl of cereal, i didn't do it much, just a few times, and then i started watching tiktoks lol, then within MINUTES my grandma knocked on the door and he told me that he left me some cereal and milk, and that I could have that for dinner. I WAS VERY HAPPY AND I HAD COMPLETELY FORGOT THAT I HAD MANIFESTED IT, BUT I DID ITTTTT The second thing I said was gifts for Children's Day. Ok, this also happened yesterday, my aunt had bought gifts for my cousins ​​(they're the real children here lol) and I asked her if she had bought me something, but she told me that I was too old to celebrate this day and giving me presents LMAOOO, I KNOW BUT I'M STILL YOUNG YK, so, I started affirming that my aunt bought me something for Children's Day, and she just had been hiding it from me, AND GUESS WHAAAAT, when I woke up today there was no one at home, just my grandma and me lol, but then my aunt, my mother and my brother arrived, and they went to the supermarket to buy me candies, and my aunt had a gift for me!! She gave me hair clips, animal-shape hair tails(? (😭🩷) and a curling mask!! I was very grateful, and I also forgot that I was manifesting it, I realized when I started manifesting my third success today OMGGG, this happens When I was in my room listening to music on my phone, it slipped out of my hands and obviously fell , but THE SCREEN BROKE SO BAAAD 😭 not externally like cracks but internally, streaks appeared on the screen and it turned white, I was VERY scared because I had already damaged my phone on my birthday a few months ago, so if I told my parents they were going to be mad at me for sure 💀 but then I remembered that omg I am the creator of my life and reality, and I could manifest that nothing ever happened to the screen! Or also the phone would repair itself idk, the point is that again I affirmed that the screen was in good conditions, that it was never damaged bc I said so, etc. This took a little more effort because I was a little scared and anxious, but I understood and that my emotions were normal for what just happened, and I just kept affirming and persisting that in my 4d this never happened. Being honest with you, I don't see any changes on my phone in 3D, but WHO CARES? In my 4d the screen of my phone is as it has always been, and that is what really matters, I'm sure that it will be reflected soon in my 3d. I continue to persist and listen to my 4d!! And if I been able to manifest other situations in minutes or hours, ofc I will achieve this.

I have. So many thoughts about Sun in help wanted 2. Not bad ones at all, just a lot thoughts. (Spoilers ahead for HW2 and a little from Ruin) also this is a long one, so buckle up

Aight, so I have not watched a lot of gameplay of the Arts and Crafts minigame, bc I would have simply been way too excited to even stand still and not get overwhelmed by pure joy. BUT I have listened to his voice lines in the game (via YouTube)

After listening to all of them, I got three main thoughts (and a bonus thought about Moon)

One, holy smokes he is a freaking savage (and even more of one once I discovered that apparently his line “It speaks to me!” Was actually NOT him complimenting you genuinely and he actually immediately shreds your work in front of you after saying that, and I’m dying of laughter here FHSGGFGDJDJG)

Two, I’m like, actually kinda happy that there’s this side to Sun? Like, it gives more nuance to his personality overall. And I think has been a part of him from the start, back in the main security breach game? We just haven’t been shown it much. Maybe not much of his sassiness, but I’m also thinking about his temper. Like, sun was really pissed at Gregory at the end of the daycare mission, to the point that he bans the poor kid. And there’s also that one cut voice line of his that goes “I’M PUTTING YOU IN TIME OUT!” And it’s in a really angry voice, unlike moon surprisingly, despite both of them sharing this one line. And then there’s also that one fazwatch about how moon practically traumatized kids enough that they’re scared to sleep with the lights off, but when the lights turn on, the kid straight up wets themself. Which implies that not only has Moon terrified kids, but so has Sun as well. And if we’re really supposed to be a kid in the arts and crafts minigame, then i think we found the context for that part of the message. I feel bad for that kid.

I’ve kinda kept in mind for a while that Sun is not always so patient and uh, kind. And I kinda like that since then it’s easier to write him In certain different situations. And this revelation from HW2 honestly validates the way I’ve written him in my own AU, and oh boy is this gonna fun!(no sarcasm) (I not gonna elaborate on that point bc it’s not the focus of this post, tho im happy to talk about my AU if anyone wants to know more)

Three: I genuinely wonder if we’re specifically playing as a kid, an adult (maybe a staff member) or, as I’ve heard from other people’s theories, we might be playing as a possessed staff bot?? I feel like the first idea might be likely since there’s a voice line from sun in the minigame, where he says that we (the player) are gonna be in timeout until our parents come to pick us up. However, I’ve only seen the beginning of the minigame, and only know the rest through listening to voice lines. So I don’t have much context for the voice line and I could very well be wrong.

Bonus thought: I’ve heard that Moon appears a lot in other mini games compared to other characters, including Sun. But despite that I really can’t get a good read on his personality besides either him being a silly yet unnerving boogie man (SB and HW2) , and literally in aggressive pain(Ruin) and probably a softie but we really haven’t seen him act that way, only just read/seen it second hand, like his moondrop posters and one description from Cassie in Ruin. Again it could be bc I haven’t seen much of the new game and only heard voice lines from one of his mini games, but I’m really not sure.

Aight that sums it all up. This game is really good.

I wanted to tell yall my opinion on "who would Mike first come out to".

Okay so I suspect that it might be El, Nancy or Karen. The reason why I choose these 3 is bc I feel like anyone else would make that coming out scene feel "too warm" (for exp. if he came out to Joyce).

Now ofc I believe that Mike will come out to Will during the confession but I feel like we need more, colder one? I am not saying that I need Mike to be unaccepted by anyone (thought that would be interesting to watch cause then they would show both sides of coming out) I am saying that I feel like if he comes out to these characters specifically, the whole scene is gonna feel more sad ( the vibe of it). Like when they do that blue/dark sort of coloring to express that this scene is supposed to make audience more sad than happy. It's hard to explain.

If MIke comes out to El, it would be on accident. It would probably happen in the middle of a fight where he would spill it out and El would be shocked. Tho, she wouldn't be very confused and surprised (at least from my point of view.) She probably caught up with Mike and Will's problems and she could see the reason for it but she is still not so sure or she is in denial. I just feel like she wouldn't be all that happy, she would prob. ask him to leave her to think abt this but would be very understanding at the end.

Nancy

Now this is a different story. This is where he would come out when he prepared himself. Why do I feel like Nancy is one of those people? Not just bc she is his sister so it would make sense but smt else. Something about how they see each other.

Now, we all know that siblings fight constantly. Well most of siblings. And it isn't because they hate each other or something, it's mostly just siblings thing.

Ofc, Mike and Nancy also fight like other siblings do. However, their relationship is not the best. They often don't talk with each other. Hell, they would rather get hit by a car than talk about their feelings with each other like Jonathan and Will do.

So why do I believe that Nancy would be a good option?

It is simple. I believe that Mike thinks that Nancy is pretty neutral abt stuff. Maybe he thinks that she won't even care? He probably believes that her reaction to this wouldn't impact him that much since they don't talk. But there is also a part of him that hopes that she will understand and so is probably scared.

I feel like they might try to act like Will and Jonathan which is why they will try to talk to each other. Who knows?

Karen

So we know how Karen wishes that her kids talk with her( like deep talks)? She has been waiting for that for a long time now. Mike coming out to her would be a thing that would fulfill her wish. And her reassurance would mean the world to him. It would make him braver and more emotionally stronger which will make Vecna's plan harder to proceed.

One thing that makes me believe in this theory is her talk with him in s1. If you are a straight viewer you may catch this message harder but if you are a queer person, you would notice.

Karen talking about how Mike doesn't have to hide anything from her, how he can tell her anything doesn't apply to Mike being upset abt Will going missing. It also doesn't apply to El bc she didn't know abt her yet.

Others know that Mike and Will's relationship is different from the others. However, not all of them think it has to do with romance. But Karen does. She can see the difference between how Mike acts with Will versus how he is with Lucas and Dustin.

Her speech in that episode means so much to queer community bc it represents a parent who is reassuring their closeted kid that no matter who they love, they are gonna stay and love their kid the same. And if they also have a hard time accepting it themselves, their parent is there to help them.

hi so today's watt week prompt is finding good things and while i have a kateva fic for this prompt over on ao3, they are my very absolute favorites of anything ever so i decided to also throw a hc post for them out there too!

they met in january ofc, in act 2, and i think they started dating in october or november that same year

they realized they liked each other pretty early on though, but both of them knew that this was not a good time for kate to be in a relationship so they both told themselves to wait, and who knows, maybe the feelings would go away and no longer be a problem

spoiler alert: they did not

there was a few times over the summer that eva almost confessed but stopped herself

but then in the fall, they finally start dating

kate is the one to ask eva out

and they're both so happy

so one thing i've always kind of thought about kate is that i don't think her parents get along very well

they're married, but they probably shouldn't be, and they fight a lot

it's a little bit of why kate is so scared of getting attached and being vulnerable

so in april or so, when she realizes she loves eva, it's kind of terrifying

and they're also nearing graduation, another one of kate's biggest fears

i don't think they go to college together, they're a couple states apart, and kate is so scared

are you named after anyone? nah, my parents just flipped through a baby book until they found a name they agreed on. i was close to being named taylor, but ultimately they decided against it because then my initials would be the same as my siblings and they wanted us to be easily distinguishable by just initials. for my middle name, which i won't say what it is cuz it's not a typical "middle name", my mom said she just chose one that was more traditional to kind of offset the more trendy first name. that way, if i grew up and didn't like how popular haley was, i could go by my middle name instead

when was the last time you cried? i have a goldfish memory so i have no idea, but it was surely this week and probably over something really dumb like i stubbed my toe or read a sad fanfic honestly.... it luckily Has Not Been That Serious for me lately (knock on wood), so no big reasons to cry and just silly ones and for this i am very grateful!!

do you have kids? i am not mentally stable or financially secure enough for a child rn, but i do think i might want them later on (esp if i find a loving partner who agrees). i personally think that, at 25, i am too young to have kids (i know people my age are parents, but it completely baffles and scares me), so it's not something i'm gonna put too much thought into until i'm in my 30s. 30 is also, coincidentally, the age i'll be when my iud expires (unless the fda approves it for longer), so i am fully Not Worrying About It Yet 😌 thats for future haley to hem and haw about. current haley is vibing with 0 responsibilities over other living breathing human beings

what sport do you play / have played? i have never actually played a sport... my parents made me try so many when i was a kid, but i would literally throw fits and scream until they let me quit. i did play recreational tennis for a little bit and i always want to go back to it cuz i still have the racquet, but i don't currently have anyone to play with!

do you have any pets? unfortunately no, but i would love a cat! a little afraid to get one for two reasons tho. 1) i have never Had a pet before and am afraid of doing wrong by the little baby, and 2) i Was attacked by a cat a few years ago and am still a little afraid of them. i have a friend whose cat is VERY aggressive (lots of biting, scratching, jumping on and attacking them) and i would not do well with a cat like that and would want a more mellow cat (they can playfight with me occasionally of course, but i could not deal with the near-constant attacking my friend endures. it would absolutely freak me out). but, since you can't really know a cats personality until you get them home and acclimated to the new environment and owner, there's no guarantee i wouldn't get a cat i'd be afraid of, so i've held off on adopting for now. i keep hoping i will get blessed by the cat distribution system and they will give me a cat they know will mesh with me, since i know cats like that exist. my siblings cat is literally the sweetest baby and has never hurt, scratched, bit, or attacked them before and just snuggles or ignores them and that is the kind of cat i would need. @ the universe..... please....

how tall are you? 5'8.5/174cm almost exactly. if i'm talking to a man, i round down and tell him i'm 5'8 but if i'm talking to a woman i round up and say i'm 5'9 (gotta impress the ladies with my height, gotta humble the 5'10 man who said he's 6'0 and is now upset he's so close in height to me when i'm 5'8)

favorite subject in school? english, science, and history! but i was a total nerd and loved every class tbh

Yes, I do have more thoughts! Thank you for asking First and foremost, I just recommend watching the movie (fools rush in) for anyone who hasn’t seen it. Not even just for this, mainly bc it’s one of my favs and I think others should watch if they haven’t 💀

Anyway onto the thoughts. I’m gonna try to do like a mini timeline of events I could see happening and hopefully that answers some things

Myrah and Aemond meet at a restaurant owned by Myrah’s aunt. In this cute little town right outside the city (where Aemond lives)

They instantly hit it off ofc, go back to Aemond’s hotel…. Baelor is conceived 😊. Myrah books it out of there in the morning before Aemond even wakes up

They go about their business for weeks till Myrah starts feeling tired a lot, and even feeling a bit sick. So she goes to the doctor. The checkup is going pretty normal till her doctor is suddenly like ‘congrats mama 🤭’ and myrah is just like ??? 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

Myrah goes back and forth between even telling anyone and just getting an abortion is secret. But she breaks down one day to her mom bc she scared. Her parents are pretty traditional so ngl it does hurt their soul a bit that their young daughter is pregnant and won’t even tell them who the father is. Her aunt (who owns the restaurant) is like 👀 but also is like ‘girl if you want this baby dead I’ll drive you’

In the end, myrah ends up deciding to keep the baby. Then makes the decision to tell Aemond. Not bc she wants anything but more for him to know. She doesn’t want some guy showing up in 10 years like hmmm is that my kid. But she is nervous bc she knows how this looks. She knew very little about Aemond, or his family. But it takes one google search and she’s like ‘ofc he’s from one of those families’. She comes from a working class background. She can only imagine what his family would think about her

So, she shows up at [insert work place for Aemond I haven’t decided on]. Not super appropriate but she kind of has no other way to reach him.

He is confused to see her. She asks if they can get lunch, mainly bc she wants to tell him in front of people so he doesn’t act up lmao

Anyway he takes it… not great. He excused himself to go scream in the bathroom 😭. But when he comes back myrah reassures him she doesn’t want anything. This was a curtesy thing, and that she (and the baby) will be fine.

Aemond shocks her, and honestly himself, by asking if he can come to the first appointment. Myrah is halfway to saying no bc her parents advised her to cut ties cleanly especially if he doesn’t explicitly say he wants to be around permanately. But he looks so earnest so she says yes.

I sort of debated how I imagine Aemond telling his family, namely Alicent. Honestly I could see him jay blurting it out one night on the phone. Like ‘I’m having a kid’. Now this ofc shocks Alicent. Bc frankly, she thought if any kid would be making her a young grandma is Aegon. But she gives him sound advice about raising a child (especially while not being in relationship with the mom) is not easy. And if he’s not 100% in, he needs to leave them alone for their sake.

the thing that really pushes him to step up is viserys tbh. His father is so critical of him for this. Probably makes some disparaging comments about myah when he hears she’s essentially a struggling artist. Hinting at her doing this on purpose. And Aemond really can’t believe for a moment bc really??? Viserys targaryen has something to say about raising kids??? That’s rich. But then he remembers how clueless his father is so sure he would think he’s a great father/made good decisions and has room to talk

Anyway fast forward to the first appointment with the obstetric. I feel this appointment def lays the early stages of them being good for each other. It should be nerve wrecking and awkward, and don’t get me wrong some parts are, but he holds her hand and when they do the ultrasound he has that’s “their” baby in there.

When they leave, Aemond is very clear about wanting to make it work. Not just co-parenting but with myrah herself

Ok that was super long winded opening to their relationship. Anyway in terms of hiccups they may face. Aemond is a workaholic. Hard to curve and him and myrah butt heads a lot of what things are considered ‘important’ in life. It is understandable when you grow up in the family dynamic he did, that ideals in that department is murky. They both have to create appropriate boundaries before baby Baelor comes.

Moments they realize they could be happy together. For Aemond, the way she gels with his mom and siblings. Mainly Alicent. She also tells viserys and daemon to fuck off one night (she instantly feels guilty. Pregnancy hormones what can ya say) but Aemond loves her for it. Also when Baelor comes, Aemond sort of feels like his heart is bursting. For myrah, the fact that Aemond tries. She isn’t expecting perfection but nothing bothers her more than someone who dwells in their situation when they have the means/wherewithal to get better. Also he is very handson from the get go. One of her fav memories is him shooing her out of the apartment so him and Aegon could paint the nursery. As well decorating the nursery with him

My unpopular opinion about this character

he doesnt have as much of a fondness for mob as people thinks he does. I dont think he thinks mob is cute (maybe sometimes when young) and he doesnt think of himself as a father to mob... maybe a mentor/fatherly figure but he knows mob has parents and reigen also does not want a child because the responsibiltiy is way too grand. kind of like... if you visit a friends house to play with their dog. playing w the dog is fun!!! would you want a dog of your own? fuck nah bc then you gotta feed it and take care of it and shit. so whenever ur in the mood u just go over n hang w the dog at ur pals place. I think he thinks mob is an awkward loser. (hes wrong tho mob is amazing fuck u reigen) but also he's scared of mob surpassing him and reigen becoming the awkward loser.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

hmm. two things.

reigen taking care of mob. like bandaging him up after a fight and comforting him or taking care of him when he's sick or something. and then mob is very grateful and reigens heart fills with warmth... oohghhhh family,,,

or reigen being taken care of by somebody. maybe mob! reigen is depressed or sad or wahtever but ppl work hard to brighten his day. I want him to make more friends, I want serizawa to invite reigen out to a school event and reigen meets people! I want reigen to have more friends and be happy and thus become a better person and be taken care of! but also if he gets too egotistical abt it I want him smacked upside the fucking head. also i want someone to mock him and his stupid lil movements.

TV Ads and Growing Up

I never really talked about it outright before, maybe once to a very close friend about minor things that happened once during adolescence. But here it is. WARNING ABOUT MENTAL HEALTH HERE Difficult relationship between parents and children.

. It’s just a normal weekend, watching videos on Youtube. I watched several, mostly about gaming and whatsnot.. Then I see a new vid from an unknown channel. It’s called «  Iceberg of the most scary ads » and being a bit fan about horror content, I start to watch it out of curiosity.

As the video progress about ads being more and more scary, featuring at first a bit of body horror or some pictures looking uncanny, road accidents and such.. Then, a theme starts to appear that may be triggering for lots of people : child abuse. Now, first, I have never been abused sexually or physically. But as I watched the video about the ads, some who used to be on TV in different countries, a memory brings me back to when I was around my 16/17’s. I used to live in the south-west of my country during two years with my mom, when I was in high school. Nowadays, my mom refers to this time as « her happiest when we used to live together ». I agree to a certain extent to this statement. Because high school was good in my opinion, vecause I had a few friends with who I could really spend time with between classes.. This kind of things. At that time, we were living in a house with a big garden, there weren’t any upstairs floors but it was overall good. The house had was accessible by the garden with a few steps in front of the door and there was a big bush of rosemary on the side of it. Of course, there were a few issues, like the small size of the bathroom, the heat during summer and occasionnally, the dog running away. But I tend to think that this kind of small problems happen anywhere, in any household. So. As much as this was good, it was also one of the times my mom was prone to big changes of mood. Anger, sadness, frustration… Sometimes, she was happy, kind and patient. And other times, it was harder.

For example, out of frustration and anger, she couldn’t make the printer work out properly for a reason I don’t know. I was nearby and trying at first to calm her down and to talk a bit to her, but I mostly kept silent during these outbursts. In any case, I still don’t think it would change anything.

Her voice and annoyance grew, then she showed real signs of angers, screaming at the object. She ended up opening the front door, walking with the printer in her arms and throwing it out. Then, she took the hammer that was left in the hallway, and she went outside and smashed repeatedly the printer until the glass inside of it was destroyed and shards of it were surrounding the now dead machine. Of course, since it was damaged beyond rep airs. It was obvious we would have the need to go to the nearest city or wait until next day to print out the documents she wanted. But she felt better after that, stopped screaming and started to relax. Logical, since the immediate source of her problems was out of her way. Kinda.. In a similar fashion, when we had a hard time to suspend the hammock between two trees during the beginning of summertime, she started getting very angry. She started to scream heavily bc I couldn’t manage to knot on of the end correctly. Which led to more stress and tenseness on my part. Eventually, I did it but it wasn’t working. The whole suspending hammock thing, I mean. Still very angry, she went to the garage, took a small axe we had for tinkering stuff. I was both scared and confused, so I stepped out of her way very quickly.. She simply started to throw the axe and cut the trunk of the tree repeatedly to let out steam, still screaming in between the swings. She calmed down, maybe half an hour later and we both moved on doing something else. I tend to think these as isolated incidents. We rarely mention it between us and I, myself, never think about it.

But this video on youtube, it made me remember it.

I don’t consider myself traumatized or abused. But I’m willing to recognize some hard times that happened during my childhood / teenage hood that helped me take a step back to evaluate what was going on and distance myself from my mom. Of course, moving on my own and starting the adult life helped me and has its positive, even though I don’t outright say it to my parents very often.
