Very excited to read your new work! I have a question if you don't mind me asking, do you have a release schedule for charters 2 and 3 planned or they will be posted when they will be posted (NOT judging at all!)

Thank you!! It's Friday morning here right now, and I'm not back in the office until Tuesday (although I have a few freelancing commitments), so I'm aiming to get the other two parts up basically over the weekend. I might even get Part 2 up tonight, which would be great, because it's definitely the longest of the three (it's like, 30k words lol).

#i have a pilates class this morning and a long overdue eye test #and i want to do some cooking #but otherwise i'm pretty free today #(although i'm out for a chunk of tomorrow with friends)#so yeah!#fingers crossed part 2 tonight and then part 3 will probably be sunday night aus time :-)#fic asks #i probably won't make a proper post for it here until all three parts are up #i'm soft-launching haha #like a dog-less bone

noooo i got covid 😭😭

#any other time over the past three years i would have been happy to have a week off in exchange for illness #the last time i had covid my lifestyle barely changed in fact. staying in bed all day was just another week #but now? that i have plans? places to be?#for the first time in a long time i actually don't want to be confined to my room but now i have to be #frick man #and i was just thinking the other day #'boy oh boy this routine sure is great but i better not get sick and lose momentum otherwise i may easily slip back into the Depression'#so let's hope. let's hope and let's try to pick things back up at the other end of this #i have an appointment with my therapist tomorrow tho and i just asked to change it to a phone call instead of rescheduling #bc i want to pick up where we left off #and discuss this with him now #and i also really need to talk about my friend's recent suicide attempt bc i still. have Not brought it up #but on saturday my fish died and its dead body was in the tank unmoving and it just. yeah it just broke that dam a bit i fear #ok looking on the positive side i have some time to rest #and watch movies #today i watched baby driver and drive #baby driver is as good as ever #drive i fear i do not see the huge appeal to it. it's not bad but it's nothing special in my eyes 😔#and i also have my maths test delayed which is great bc i know nothing about the content so i'll have a bit more time to study #will i actually utilise that time to study? we will see #oscar.exe

Mario Mario | Plumber and hero of the mushroom kingdom, Luigi's twin brother. Love interest: Peach Toadstool (Sometimes Geno or Pauline)

Luigi Mario | Plumber and hero of the mushroom kingdom, but he is best known in Sarasaland, Mario's twin brother. Love interest: Daisy Floral (Sometimes Peasley)

Peach Toadstool | Housekeeper of the mushroom kingdom, adopted daughter of Toadworth. Love interest: Mario Mario

Daisy Floral | princess of Sarasaland, will be the future queen of her kingdom, BFF of princess Peach. Love interest: Luigi Mario

Rosalina | Guardian of the Galaxy and mother figure of the Lumas. Love interest: Waluigi

Pauline | Mayor of Metro Kingdom, famous singer and old friend of Mario and Luigi. Love interest: Sometimes Mario, but in the near future Haru.

Yoshi | Best friend and companion of the Mario brothers, also as a hero of his land Yoshi Island. Love interest: Birdetta

Birdetta | Former villain of the Mario gang. Love interest: Yoshi

im considering going back to making shitty youtube videos edited on imovie again just to try and feel some sense of purpose. dont have brawl stars downloaded rn because i kinda fell off on it, but i could to twst vids or something. record my dot connection game dailies or something, idk, just something to do.

#im in a rut of rewatching and rewatching old content and doing nothing all day #and im technically hired rn. but theyre running background checks and then ill have to do a physical and a drug test and whatever #ill probably not even be on the schedule til august. and even then. i could only find a part time position. 30 hrs every two weeks.#im actually starting to feel excited for school to come up just to give me something to throw myself into #so i can ignore my constantly depleting mental health and maybe even find someone else to talk to. in person #i only ever consistently talk to three people outside my family and all communication is on discord. nothing irl. which sucks.#it sucks that i don’t like going outside and meeting people. it sucks that i don’t get to hang out with friends irl. everything sucks.#so yeah. might just start recording dailies for games or something. just to have something im doing.#yea. youtube same name. there’ll probably be a video there tomorrow.

“hey so there’s been a bunch of exposures recently but we’re gonna have the volunteer party this week bc it’s outdoors so we’ll be fine. yeah it’s a bunch of people all talking maskless face to face in relatively close proximity but we’re outside so any transmission would of course be impossible” be so fucking for real

#i love this place i love volunteering there. they have air purifiers around the center and tell people in no other words that if they’re #feeling unwell in the slightest they shouldn’t come in. they’re offering free tests to anyone exposed. they’re doing so much more than so #many other places and a lot of times it’s a place im able to relax a bit #but im just. exhausted. a week from tomorrow will be the three year anniversary of my dad dying from covid so im already in a bad place #plus covid in general is a trigger for me because. yknow. i watched it slowly strangle the life from my father until he was a grey #breathless husk who couldn’t walk three steps or say three words without panting. and that was when we made him go to the hospital #and then the next time he came home it was just his ashes in a bag #but it’s been four years. five if you count the early cases that popped up in 2019. and we’re still dealing with this shit #im just tired of it. im too exhausted to have a full sobbing shaking breakdown so ive gone to the other end of the spectrum and just feel #heavy and hollow. i should probably have a big cry but i don’t have the tears or energy #vent tw #im just hoping my n95 and the air purifiers were enough to keep me from contracting it at all. the worry is the n95 could’ve been loose and #sometimes the metal on the nose loosens slightly but the mask was pretty new overall so im hoping it worked to its full capacity and kept #out any covid molecules so that i didn’t contract any #only time will tell i suppose. in the mean time #im just praying a lot bc that’s the only control i have. i will be saying the shema whenever i get too stressed about it
