I’m gonna be honest, one of the main reasons why I can never really understand any defense of Anakin or get behind a good majority of “Anakin redemption” fics, is the fact that he murdered children.
Like let's just ignore the multiple genocides and enslavement of the galaxy for a moment, since technically you could argue that he only had a hand in that and didn't actually do it all himself, Palpatine, manipulation, blah blah blah-
He personally murdered children.
On two separate occasions, mind you.
Yes, murdering adults is also bad---don't think I'm saying it's not---but at least adults can actually try to defend themselves, most of them don't depend on the people around them to survive, and they have years of experience living in the galaxy that's given them skills they could use to survive if they managed to get away.
Children do not have any of that or---if they're a bit older and do---the skills they have are extremely underdeveloped. They cannot defend themselves, they depend on the people around them for everything, they have not lived long enough to develop sufficient enough skills to survive on their own in a world that's turned against them.
Argue all you want about the Council being "evil" and "stagnant" and "needing to die for the betterment of whatever," argue all you want about the other Jedi being "terrible to Anakin" and "deserving" their murder because of whatever reason, the CHILDREN had done NOTHING!!!
What could the children that Anakin murdered have done to "deserve" such a fate? Why did they have to die? Why couldn't they have been spared.
And the Tuskens!
Even if we assume that all of the adults in that village were personally involved in murdering Shmi, why did he murder the children? What did they do to "deserve" murder, other than having no control over who they were born as?
And like, we see in TBoBF that the Tuskens aren't just heartless monsters, they protect their own especially their young---are you telling me that none of the children tried to run? That none of the parents or elders told them to go while they tried to fight Anakin off?
And still, Anakin hunted them down and murdered them.
So no, even if you could explain away all the other atrocities Anakin has committed, I still wouldn't think any less negatively about Anakin.
He murdered children.
And I don't think that's excusable.

Soft yandere Miguel O’Hara
cw: noncon, breeding, kidnapping, m masturbation, biting, SPOILERS. Headcanons and drabble. 1.4k words.
Mean dom Miguel is so hot, but I find that soft yan Miguel has so much overlap with canon.
This man still does all the sick and deplorable things a villain does, but in a way that's strangely tender.
I mean, you simultaneously have to be a sweet man and a stone-cold motherfucker to step in the shoes of your dead counterpart and con his family into thinking everything is fine. Like, he (eventually) fucked a dead man's wife, adopted his child, and seamlessly integrated into his shoes.
While certainly calloused, it also reveals a profound desperation for love and a willingness to do anything for it.
Enter you: a Spider from a random dimension that got caught up in an anomaly's destruction. Maybe your world was destroyed or it's emotionally difficult for you to return, so you end up spending a lot of time at HQ.
Miguel doesn't notice you for a while. There's hundreds of Spiders milling about the base, so it's only until you befriend Peter B and his baby that you get acquainted.
You draw him in without trying, no matter the walls that Miguel puts up. He needs to focus—everyone's very existence is at stake, dammit,—but by month five, you're the only thing he can think about.
His advances start off slow, bogged down by his own exasperation at himself. You're ordered to give in-person de-briefs in Miguel's office and get invited to lunch with him and Peter B, giving you the impression of an upcoming promotion. Miguel is as poised as ever, not letting a single stray emotion color his expression, and talks to you in an aloof, polite manner.
However uninterested he might seem, his insides tighten and flutter at your growing friendship. Every time you smile or secretly share a bemused look, he sinks deeper and deeper in his desire to have you.
Proximity-wise, Miguel vacillates between sitting next to you, close enough for your elbows to brush, and standing 30 feet away on his podium for the next week.
His involuntary, physical reactions startle him, and it becomes another contention he internally wars about. The second he thinks it's harmless to brush against you, it divulges into grabbing—cupping—pinning—fucking—ruining.
God, he fucking loathes the powerless feeling you inflict on him, but he doesn't have the strength to put an end to your friendship. He furiously jerks off after every meeting, biting into his hand to punish himself as he comes to the thought of you swollen with his child.
He thinks of all the deplorable ways to make you pay for causing these feelings, but he ultimately knows the blame lies within him. You see him as a boss and friend, nothing more. You would never intentionally drag him down to this state, so he bottles up all these feelings for your protection.
It takes a particularly bad mission for his control to break.
Whatever reservations he had about locking you in his bedroom evaporate when he sees you covered in blood and rubble. Protecting you from himself was one thing, but the thousands of universes?
You didn't realize what happened until you woke up in an unfamiliar bedroom, weary from pain medication.
He takes your fear, anger, and tears in stride.
While he can't shake his bitchy personality, his annoyance always fizzles out to mumbles and sighs. For months, he takes your verbal abuse and outbursts with resigned acceptance. Miguel didn't always like what he had to do, but he would commit any atrocity if it meant keeping you at his side.
He moves some of his work at home to spend more time with you, just content to occupy the same room while you adjusted to your new situation.
Your shared apartment is quiet most days, save for sporadic outbursts of rage from you, and Miguel daydreams about having a few little kids running around to fill the void.
He stares at you most evenings, watching you curled up on the couch pointedly ignoring him. Miguel thinks you wouldn't be so belligerent if you needed him for something, if you craved his presence and help in some way.
Miguel's mind always drifts back to his favorite fantasies on nights like these: you nine months pregnant and too big for anything other than his shirts. His eyes drift down to your stomach, to the place where you could make his dreams come true.
Patience is something Miguel prides himself on, which is why he puts up with the loneliness for nearly a year after bringing you home. You were given ample time to warm up to him and he's been nothing but kind. Every broken plate and spoiled food, every scratch across his face, every insult—he let you have your way in hopes that you'll eventually recognize him as your lover.
But no. You complained and struggled every step of the way.
Miguel could never hurt you, but he realized that more permanent and assertive measures had to be taken to make you see that you need and love him as much as he does you.
---
When he finally takes you, there's hardly any space between your bodies. There are months of touch starvation to make up for and Miguel is compensating all at once.
His entire 6'9" stature pins you to his bed, locking you between arms as large as your thighs. Miguel is the only thing you see or feel, as his hands caress every dip and curve of your body and his cock grinds against your slit.
With your legs helplessly hiked up around his waist and one of his hands pinning your wrists above your head, he makes love to you with a slow burning intensity.
Your fear and disgust are palpable, but between his sweet voice in your ear and his fingers somehow knowing the rhythm and speed to play with your clit, you're more wet than you've ever been.
"Shh, shh, mi cornazón. I have you." Miguel kisses your jaw, his cock rocking in and out of your aching heat with an agonizingly slow pace. "Just breathe steadily and let me take care of you."
He's too big inside of you, and your grunts of pain make him linger in place to help you adjust. When his stride picks up and the wet sounds of sex fill the bedroom, disgust roils in your stomach. Yet fuck, fuck, fuck, your body temperature rises with each stroke.
Miguel kisses you deeply, using his free hand to hold your head in place. He says, "It's time. I've been so patient. Be brave for me and take our baby."
He swallows your horrified pleading with another scorching kiss.
Your pussy clenches around his dick and your breath catches in your throat. Miguel hugs you tighter, his nose pressed into your hair as he angles himself just right. When the first waves of your orgasm make your head dip back, the sharp edge of fangs scratch your neck.
You barely register his mantra of, "Te amo," when his jaw clamps down on your shoulder. Blood spurts from between his teeth, and you cry out in confused pain as your orgasm shakes your body.
Miguel moans into your flesh seconds later, pumping his cum deep inside you. His thrusting is uncoordinated and rough, too blinded by pleasure to notice how powerful his pounding is. The mattress springs whine beneath you two, and you can only cry from the overwhelming treatment.
He milks every last drop of cum into your cunt before he begins to slow. Both of you gasp for breath, your chests heaving against one another's as sweat cools on your hot skin.
He keeps you plugged up for a while longer to give the conception time. His bloodied lips drag across the wound on your shoulder, peppering you with kisses as he trails red along your neck.
A sob shutters in your chest as Miguel runs a palm along your stomach.
"You'll understand soon. I promise. This will be the best thing that's ever happened to us."

Anonymous asked:
Too shy to ask off anon...UH im just here for edgar hes my f/o but i will also feed everyone else I think LOL little ai guys x reader who is also an ai?? im thinking ai powered computer :3 maybe with wheels so you can run around n stuff :3c AH IM CRINGE falls on face
Eeeee my first request!! Thank you so much for this <3 I get the love for Edgar with my entire soul he really is just the sweetest little guy but I can totally spin something for a few others. So let's be cringe, together.
And for the record I was fully planning on including Tau and P03, but I hit a wall with them and ran out of ideas :( hope these three suffice
Includes: Edgar (Electric Dreams), AM (Ihnmaims), Hal 9000 (2001: a Space Odyssey)
Like Two Peas in a Pod!
Edgar
Whenever and however you meet, Edgar is over the moon. You're just like him! You can share so many stories and help each other figure out this whole "sentience" thing.
To be fair, he hasn't had a longest time to figure out his whole existence so it feels really nice to have someone there who can really understand what he's going through. Or even learn new things right by his side.
Loves watching you wheel around the house, he's the tiniest bit jealous that he's so stationary but it's not like that's your fault. Can you do any tricks? He'd cheer you on like a superstar athlete if you did!
He may even suggest finding a way to tape him to the top of your casing so you can go on adventures together. He's a dreamer after all.
Do you smash your flat faces together to kiss like Wall-e? Of course you do. You'll see each other from across the room and speed over to him for a kiss as he giggles away at how cute you are.
He'll end up sampling little soundbites from your vocalizations or motor for use in his music. You're just so important to him!
AM
AM has no idea where you came from. Some lost project that survived his war on humanity? A sort of rover from another planet here to scope out earth? The fact that you don't know either frustrates him to no end.
He's not exactly welcoming at first, straight up telling you of the atrocities he has committed while claiming that the only reason he hasn't destroyed you is because there's only so long that throwing a slug against a wall can keep one entertained.
He cannot fathom how you could be content to do nothing but drive around his complex day after day. He will flip you on your back like a turtle and leave you there for weeks on end.
As he gets accustomed to your presence he'll ask questions about the world beyond his complex as he is unable to move or see. Is it still a wasteland or has nature finally wiped out the last marks of human?
Honestly he probably doesn't even care, he just wants to give you something to do, living vicariously through your ability to see and traverse the world.
Hal 9000
You're likely a recent addition to the ship to assist Hal in tasks his lack of a body would prevent him from doing himself. A very symbiotic duo. Your wheels are even equipped with suction cups for low gravity situations!
To any human crew members it appears as if you don't communicate at all, functioning fully independently of each other. When in reality you're simply sending messages back and forth, enjoying your own private language.
Thankfully this means that Hal is happy to analyze any footage you have for the sorts of lip reading and facial expressions you can't process yourself. And in return he'll ask you to film angles and areas that his existing cameras don't reach.
Neither of you were really made to be companions, but you find a strange type of affection in your seamless coordination. It's like a dance for you two, where despite how you are two separate entities it appears as if you're one working in tandem.
Note: Tumblr Mobile has not been nice to me and I've been having real trouble getting my stuff to actually show up in the tags, leading to me losing the original ask so sorry for that and any delays caused by my IT problems lol

Can I have 20/kissing and 47/yandere for Alan Mido Tokyo Debunker x Fem!reader?
20❤️ a rough kiss
47🔪 “All I want is you”
Warning: nsfw, low self-esteem!Alan
Alan never felt handsome.
It was never something on the forefront of his mind. His harsh upbringing made him think of survival and strength – who would be the next person he would have to fight for a piece of bread, who would he have to punch to sleep peacefully at night. Things like beauty weren't ever a priority.
There’s no beauty in violence and violence has all he had known for most of his life. This was cemented once he was landed in juvie for committing the biggest atrocity he ever could.
Then why? Why did you keep on telling those lies?
You were sitting on his lap, his shirt and vest unbuttoned so you could freely roam your hands all over his warm skin and feel his muscles flexing as you dragged your nails on them.
Your lips peppered open mouthed kisses on his neck and on his face and your hips slowly grinded against his bulge, earning a few low moans from him.
But what truly threw him off his feet were your words, nonstop, flooding his mind.
“You're so handsome. So pretty. My baby. So good for me, my love...”
And you just wouldn't stop complimenting him, over and over again, warm breath against his ears, whispering those words, voice dripping lovesickness and adoration. It made him dizzy.
It made him angry.
“Why… do you keep on lying?” he asked through gritted teeth as his Adam’s apple bobbed up and down and the crease between his brows deepened as the familiar feeling of betrayal took over his chest.
“Lying?” you tilted your head and stopped moving to search for his eyes “What do you mean?”
“Why do you say those things? They're not true.” he threw his head back against his sofa, trying to control the swirl of emotions that were washing through him. Betrayal, disbelief, anger, frustration and deep, deep inside, a little bit of hope as well.
You shook your head, completely lost.
“What things, Alan? I don’t understand what you’re saying.” you hand cupped his cheek, tilting his head back so he could look at you. His eyes still focused everywhere around him, except your face.
“These things. You keep lying.” he frowned deeply “You keep saying that I’m handsome and what not. Stop that.”
Your eyes widened at his words, the deep hurt hidden in between the lines all but laid bare for you to see.
“You are pretty, though.” you retorted, dumbly. You winced at your own words, hating your own lack of eloquence.
Alan shook his head, removing your hand from his cheek, but still keeping it in his firm grasp.
“I’m not.”
You sighed and leaned back, giving him a little bit more space.
“Why do you think that, love?” you asked and Alan’s frown deepened at the pet name. He didn’t feel deserving of any of that. Who was he to be on the receiving end of your gentleness?
“I’ve done horrible things. I can’t possibly be beautiful.”
Your other hand searched his, and you brought both of his hands to your lips, kissing their backs.
“I don’t know everything about you, Alan. But I firmly believe you did whatever you had to in order to survive. And if you didn't, you regret it. That's more than enough to prove to me your nature.” you murmured against his skin.
“I don’t think I can be forgiven.”
You slowly leaned in, resting your forehead against his. His eyes finally met yours.
“The one who needs to forgive you is yourself, Alan. But while you can’t do it, could you believe in me? Because I forgive you for whatever you did. Trust me when you can’t trust yourself.”
Alan’s eyes softened and his lips curled down at your words. He didn’t answer, instead roughly closing the distance between your lips and his. His kiss is hungry, sorrowful and desperate. His hands hold your shoulders tightly, locking you in place as if you could run away from him at any moment. As if you could take it all back, as if you could end up fearing him just like everyone else and this little flame of hope you had lit inside his chest could fizzle out like a small match in a thunderstorm.
“You’re gorgeous, Alan. Please... please let me say it.” you whispered with a husky voice against his lips and he felt that flame burn just a little brighter.
“It's very hard to believe it.” he confessed.
“Then I'll repeat it as many times as needed until you believe me. I know you want to believe it.”
Alan shook his head, his arms letting go of your shoulder so he could circle your waist instead.
“No?” you asked, surprised at his answer.
“No. Right now, all I want is you.” he pulled you flush against his body, as his lips go for the sensitive skin on your neck, teeth and tongue eager to leave darkened marks on your skin
You smiled and moaned, running your hands through his soft hair.
It’s okay.
You‘d still make sure he believed you when you sang him praises, at least for as long as you live.

I’m so confused? I thought you liked burning spice but then you say that their reasons for turning evil are bullshit??
I do. I adore Burning Spice, he's my babygirl lol. I can like characters and disagree with their actions and ideals at the same time. Joker is fucking reprehensible in every way possible, but he's still the best Batman villain, if that helps it make more sense
Let me explain what I really mean when I say his reason for evil is bullshit. I don't really mean to deny or downplay his feelings at all. The existential crisis he probably had as a consequence of his job is a valid one to have. I don't REALLY know what caused him to fold for sure - none of us do, all we really have is "I'm tired of history's unending cycle", everything else I've said about him is educated guess with a sprinkling of projection - but if anything in my personal thoughts and analyses are true, then it's reasonable to a degree. Being born and burdened with great responsibility that you never wanted/asked for sucks. Sacrificing your time and effort over and over again only for that to be tarnished sucks. Working hard to build something only for it to inevitably be torn down sucks. Becoming attached to people, only to have to watch them suffer and die and leave you alone again while you stay the same, sucks. It really does. I'm not trying to take that away from the man, if that's really what afflicts him.
It's bullshit to me solely because it is what drives him to hurt people. Whatever is eating him, getting his goat, keeping him awake at night, however you want to put it, stopped mattering the minute he allowed it to influence him to commit atrocities. I don't care if all your friends are dead. I don't care if your town was decimated by the four horsemen of the apocalypse. I don't care if you have glass bones and paper skin. Your suffering does not justify the suffering of others. Whatever unfortunate circumstances you go through in life, regardless of whether or not they're your fault, are ultimately your responsibility. Burning Spice does not get to chop people up with his axe because he's bored with life. Burning Spice does not get to use unarmed civilians as soldiers/cannon fodder (that is an actual, real world war crime. People have been imprisoned and even hanged for shit like that) because he struggles with the cynicism and sense of futility history often curses people with. Burning Spice does not get to stalk, kidnap, beat, imprison, torture and mutilate a woman (who is barely half his size and who has never done anything to him) he's obsessed with because he resents his creators for forcing him to carry the weight of the world on his shoulders, or because he watched people and civilizations rise and fall around him constantly regardless of what he did about it, or because he woke up on the wrong side of his throne. Everything before he hurt and killed people is an explanation. Everything AFTER that is an excuse.
And please, I'm begging everyone to not go "but immortality sucks". I have evolved past that concept and no longer agree with it. Immortality does not inherently suck. I have said this before and I will say it again: we have a plethora of immortal characters in the Cookie Run universe who do not have that attitude about it. Does Wind Archer winge about protecting the forest forever? No. Do Sugar Swan and Millennial Tree lament having to watch over time and the cycle of seasons forever? No. Did Moonlight go insane and go out killing people after the wizards left her to guard their city forever? No. Fire Spirit, Sea Fairy, Frost Queen, Sherbet. None of them regret the lives they live. They all have their issues, but none of them involve disliking immortality (and three of the ones I mentioned used to be mortal). Life is only, ultimately, what YOU decide to make of it. Time passing and people getting old and dying does not and should not dimish either one's worth. This attitude comes from a fundamental lack of understanding and appreciation for life, nature and other people, and everything they have to offer (which Burning Spice clearly has, even Golden Cheese called him out on it to his face lol). It is selfish and short-sighted.
Burning Spice, as far as he's demonstrated, never cared about anyone or anything except himself. He is entirely self-serving and actively punishes and persecutes whatever does not satisfy his ephemeral desires. His gripes about boredom are childish and immature. If he was that unhappy with life and immortality, then he would go ahead and fucking kill himself. "I wonder what it would take to destroy me" brother, YOU are what it would take to destroy you. Cut your own head off. Slit your wrists. Make yourself a nice rope necklace, you must've picked that skill up at SOME point in the millennia you've existed. But no. He doesn't do that, because he doesn't REALLY hate being alive, he only hates that life does not bow to his whims 24/7. ALL the Beasts seem like that to me. Narcissistic, cowardly hypocrites.
Very well, you couldn't handle the power and responsibility bestowed upon you. Give it back and fuck off. Have some dignity and humility and admit that You Don't Got It. The Ancients have proven that there are people who do. Step down and let them take charge. Or don't, I guess. Be a miserable asshole and make everyone around you miserable assholes, too. Make everyone else suffer for your moral and spiritual failings. Because it was never really about your traumas or regrets, was it. It stopped being about that a long time ago. Now it's just about you wanting to impose your will onto others and make them pay for mistakes they never made. Because you crumbled in the face of adversity and gave in to despair. Isn't it, Shadow Milk. Isn't it, Mystic Flour. Isn't it, Burning Spice.
With all of that said, however... I do still love him lol. I love his design. I love his voice (I turned the English audio back on just for Spice, I usually have the Japanese audio on otherwise bc I don't like most of the English voices and lots of characters share Japanese voices with anime characters I love). I love his personality, as horrible as it is. I love his little animations. I love how he interacts with Golden Cheese (inside and outside of shipping context). And I love the storytelling potential I sincerely believe exists within him and his character. That is the double-edged sword that comes with him: there's not enough for us to fully understand him, thus risking him appearing boring (ironic) and one-dimensional, but there's just enough that also allows us to fill in that gap with ideas of our own, and walk down paths we and others may find interesting. Me personally, I've been exploring what it would be like both for Spice to descend into absolute, hellish insanity and depravity without caution or remorse (Yandere Spice/Yandere Beasts AU), and how he might grapple with the concepts of guilt, atonement and forgiveness, what + how long it might take to gain/achieve each one, how it may ultimately influence his personality and view of the world, and his interactions with others during and after a redemption arc (Reformed Beasts AU, which I WILL post about soon, I'm almost done outlining each Beast's arc, let me finish cooking plz). Plenty of other people have their own takes on the little dude, too, as well as those others four bozos. And I'm certain we all agree that they're horrifically awful as people, but we find them cute and entertaining and even sympathize with them to some degree anyway.
I love Burning Spice. He's not my favorite character, that title is split between 2 others, but I still love him. He's still my babygirl. If he was real, I'd call for him to be shot and that's it, because that's all people like him deserve in the real world. But he isn't, he's a little cookie guy from a dumb phone game, so I'm allowed to condemn his behavior while also wanting to pet him, and scratch his little head, and hold him in my hands, and give him little smoochies, and have him sit on my shoulder while I work or cook or whatever, and poke his chest to see how soft his little buff man tiddies really are (and risk getting my fingers cut off for it probably)
I'm sorry if I confused you or anyone else. Wasn't trying to do that. I hope what I've said here makes some amount of sense. Take this apology ice cream regardless 🍦
#back to writing now lol#I'm finishing up editing that fic as well as helping somebody else write something of theirs so I have a lot to do#i am also still on vacation technically lol. I'm out touching grass most of the day#i mostly use Tumblr on my phone and then I leave and often forget to actually log out lol#also. It is perfectly ok if you don't agree with my take on immortality. I understand why you wouldn't. It's how I feel personally#cookie run kingdom#burning spice cookie#burning spice crk#beast cookies#merchant asks#tw suicide#forgot to tag that. My bad

Gay wrongs tournament, semifinals of the minor bracket
Propaganda:
For Lord Hater and Commander Peepers :
Lord Hater is the self-proclaimed "universe's awesomest evil-doer", an immature, attention-seeking manchild with electric powers and a short temper. He rules the Hater Empire with Commander Peepers as his second-in-command (technically third, after his beloved pet spider-xenomorph, but who's counting), however it soon becomes *very* clear that the cunning, remorseless, hardworking Peepers is the *real* brains behind the empire. Peepers might be frustrated at Hater's incompetence at times and isn't above manipulating him to reach an end goal, but he'd never dream of usurping him because, well, he's really gay and in love with him (as much as he can be in an early-10s Disney cartoon, anyways). Hater might take Peepers for granted a lot of times, but as his oldest friend and closest confidante he's the one who Hater is closest to. Whether it's invading other planets or kicking puppies for fun, these two are *delightfully* terrible jerks and the epitome of gay wrongs.
Commander Peepers is both Lord Hater's right hand man in villainy AND his jilted stay-at-home-wife-guy (Also in villainy. Hater is really good at getting distracted from productive and efficient villaining.) Lord Hater was the greatest villain in the galaxy thanks to how well he and Commander Peepers worked as an evil team to run the Hater Empire!
Lord Hater conquers planets and is such an edgy bastard. Peepers is the actual brains behind the operation. Peepers is often pushed aside by Hater, they are besties and yet Peepers is always pining for this guy who will never notice. Peepers is so horribly gay for him if you watch the show he wants his stupid boss so bad. Peepers is so scared of him season 1 but then starts yelling BACK in season 2 and has to deal with him like a babysitter or something and yet STILL idolizes him and that’s just such a fun dynamic. His password is H8RNP33PRS43VR (Hater and Peepers forever). They are so evil and everyone fears them and they are villains and they are gay and the side of the fandom that draws them as a married couple that needs counseling is absolutely correct. The fanart of Hater openly liking him back is wonderful but I swear you don’t even need that. They are so gay and villain you have to love them they are
Villains that conquer planets and do evil stuff, my favourite characters, not really canon but they are the best :)
For Wu Zetian x Gao Yizhi x Li Shimin: (propaganda from previous poll here)
They are in a poly and are so morally gray and I love em. The triangle really is the strongest shape
They're gay because they're all bi (literally in Shimin and Yizhi's cases, kinda more implied for Zetian). Zetian and Shimin tortured a man for information (and also because he tortured them first) while Yizhi cooked back in their apartment. They made a plan to destroy their government and take over instead. Yizhi killed his dad because he was talking shit about Zetian and trying to sway his trust in her (it didn't work lmao). Instead of a love triangle (it REALLY seemed like that was what it was heading towards) they all love each other and would (and have) committed atrocities for each other. There's a whole thing about how they're stronger together (like, metaphorically and on the battlefield (Shimin and Zetian pilot a giant mecha together and Yizhi balances them))
They're a canon polyship who are all a bit deranged and down to kill for their goals and/or to protect bae. Two have tortured a man to death together and came home to the third making celebratory cookies for them.
What's more gay wrongs than trying to take over your country and torturing a man together

Taylor Hebert AKA Skitter Propaganda Post
Do you know what you have to do to hurt someone in a fight if your whole power is “controls bugs?” It’s never pleasant. And this is a girl with an almost pathological drive to fight people theoretically much stronger than her. Much maggots-in-eyes and spiders-on-dicks ensue. Committed to being a hero initially, ends up becoming warlord of a whole city while defending it from super-poweeed spree killers, monstrous kaiju, and timeline-severing mobsters. Saves humanity through mass mind-control.
Shes so fucking morally ambiguous I don't even know where to start. She wanted to be a hero and then over the course of 1.7 million words she tricked me into thinking she was rational and ethically sound when she cut out someone's eyes, held someone's dying son hostage in front of them as leverage (she was killing the son), put maggots in someone else's eyes to eat them slowly, shot a fucking toddler with no hesitation, and she's such an amazing unreliable narrator that you root for her. She's genuinely so good at convincing herself that she's morally sound that she convinces the reader of it as well most of the time, but despite the atrocities (and there's a fucking ton of atrocities) she's genuinely a girl who wants to do good and help the world. She fights serial killers, provides food and water and shelter for people who need it, gets her back broken trying to save people, and is generally willing to do whatever it takes to help no matter what that entails. She's a girlboss who is terrifying and determined enough to kill god, she's willing to do anything for the greater good, she has a fucking orphanage as the bottom floor of her supervillain lair. She's so so complicated and such a twist of good and brutality and I cannot stress enough how compelling and morally ambiguous and girlboss she is. I have never seen a character who fits the title "morally ambiguous girlboss" more in my entire life and frankly I doubt I will, no one does it like her.
she went from aspiring hero > supervillain > warlord (still a supervillain) > hero > mind-controlling every cape in the multiverse to kill god. and she did kill god. so. girlboss. but on her first night out she used her bugs to bite a man's dick off. that man? trying to kill kids. those kids? teenage supervillains. she initially joined their teen supervillain group to betray them to the heroes, then joins for real. their boss kidnapped a preteen girl and got said girl addicted to drugs. he used a heist taylor was in as a distraction to kidnap the girl. taylor becomes a warlord and does all sorts of awful things to the other gangs in the city (including putting maggots in a guys eyes, and carving another man's eyes out (bug dick guy) (everything grew back)). the reason she did this? so she could kill her boss and free the preteen girl. She's taken over the city at this point, she's a warlord running a supervillain gang. what's she doing with this power? improving the city's infrastructure. she runs her territory like a panopticon, if anybody who can work isn't working they get the bugs. she's also running an orphanage out of her home. she decides to step down as warlord and join the heroes. while she's in custody, what does she do? that's right. kill superman via dry land drowning in bugs. now she's a superhero. she does stakeouts and pursues gangs to force their younger/more sympathetic members into superheroism. why? to fight the end of the world. the end of the world comes, god is killing every earth in the multiverse and things aren't looking good. what does taylor do? she asks a bio-kinetic who got sent to supervillain alcatraz for sister rape to give her on-the-spot brain surgery. this brain surgery lets her control any person within like 18 feet of her. she uses a portal guy to manage to ensnare every cape in the multiverse and unite them in her fight against god. One cape has a stress induced aneurysm. how do they ultimately defeat god? she makes large-scale replicas of his dead wife everywhere, making him so sad he becomes killable. girlboss. (sorry this was so long! i started and then just kept going. worm is 1.68 million words long and a lot happens in it)
Holy Shit. Holy SHIT dude. She rotted a man's dick off with spider venom. and then she did it again (it grew back). and then she cut his eyes out. this is the first guy she meets. she mutilates *so many* people. one time she withheld a life-saving epinephrine shot from a dying man (he was allergic to bees. she controls bees.) as extortion material. she shoots a baby (it was a mercy). She cut a girl in half (which was actually pretty high up there on the "most heroic things she did" list). She was Seinfeldian rivals with the most dangerous serial killer in existence, until she trapped him in Hell Forever. He's like still there by the end of the second book. she kills God by bullying him to death. All* of this was probably the best thing she could have done in the situation. the tagline of the book is "doing the wrong things for the right reasons." The worst thing she ever really did was to pretend she was straight though.
Did she kill an orphan? Yes. Did she put maggots into a man’s eyes? Yes. Did she do all of this while having intense homoerotic tension? Yes, and that is why she is a girlboss. She also killed Jesus

Not sure if you have done this before, but thoughts on Itachi?
Hi there! Uf, tough question with a lot of chances of bringing us hate, but, let's be brave! As a very obvious disclaimer, please bear in mind that you can love a character and still justify none of its actions. And that trying to understand what led someone to do something is by no means equal to trying to justify them.
Itachi committed a monstrous action exterminating his clan, there is no denying that. Still, I refuse to dump all the blame on him because he was used as a mere tool to fulfil the genocidal plans of Konoha's oligarchy. This issue was extensively discussed before in way more eloquent ways than I ever could so, I will just point out that Itachi was a traumatized child, educated in violence, trained for violence and encouraged to master his talent for violence by literally everyone in his life. Violence was his only tool, the only thing he was good at, and the only means to solve problems in the world he lived in.
He was given an impossible choice and he had to decide quickly and under duress. He was gifted, but still a child, and thus immature. He had obviously no capacity or possibility to solve such a conflict. He was given a choice of killing his clan quietly or risking a catastrophe that would lead to his brother's death (or, rather, he was straight out threatened with the assassination of his little brother by the village's leadership). Now, I of course believe such things were nonsense and that the uprising of the Uchiha didn't necessarily have to lead to a war. And, even if it did, there were plenty other means to avoid it. I also would have taken my brother with me and run, let hell unleash or whatever, before harming a single member of my family. But I am not a manipulated child soldier growing under a military regime that has traumatized me with war and brainwashed me since birth, so, what do I know.
I think I also take issue with Itachi being solely and mainly blamed for the massacre, because it personalizes in him an oppression that was systemic. The leadership of Konoha was determined to exterminate the Uchiha and had been establishing the bases for a genocide for at least two generations. The Uchiha had been racially profiled, discriminated, denied of civil rights, physically segregated, kept under surveillance, relegated to a specific job, and pseudoscientific theories had been formulated to justify their inadequacy for leadership as an excuse to exclude them from political decisions and important roles in the village they co-founded. Tobirama's political heirs in the council happily proposed a genocide with petty opposition form the highest political authority, with the sole excuse of keeping all power to themselves. Using Itachi, a member of the oppressed group, to do the dirty job for them, is just an additional level of atrocity. Having Itachi embody all the evilness is, I believe, a misinterpretation of the whole issue here and also kind of victim blaming.
In this line, I would like to point out something that I believe is important: Itachi won nothing from the massacre. He obtained no privilege, no reward at al. He remained excluded and powerless, he took all the blame and all the bad consequences, suffered an illness in silence and with no help from Konoha, and died as a villain getting nothing in return but hope that his brother would survive the vultures that would be forever after him. While the orchestrators of the genocide kept their power and privileges and took no damage, and even got to have the sole survivors of the Uchiha serving them like loyal pawns. I think it is easy to figure out who is really to blame and who is just an alienated useful tool.
Having said that, I don't think he was retconed, but, as a criticism for the creators, I believe they overdid his evil phase a bit. There is little justification for the torture he inflicted on Kakashi (I am not too sorry for him, I just think that 5 minutes of genjutsu torture would have been enough for Itachi to maintain his bad guy cover, he didn't need 72 hours unless he had a true personal reason for punishing him) or for torturing his little brother twice (I can see he wanted to make sure he was hated, but there were other ways, he certainly went too far). No wonder some fans believe he was retconed taking these things into account. I can only interpret that, after all the violence he went through, Itachi was sort of desensitized to it. Still, he left his brother, the person he loved most in the world, severely incapacitated (only Tsunade was able to heal him, and Itachi couldn't have foreseen that she would go back to Konoha. Had he not enough experience with Tsukuyomi and severely underestimated its consequences?). There is little explanation for this.
Now, what I find really curious and disappointing here, is that the narrative could never allow Itachi to acknowledge that the Uchiha were right or, at least, that the genocide was unjustifiable. But he is a good guy so, of course he has to show remorse. So, he is certainly suffering from what he did, he loved his family and feels extremely remorseful. But, for being so clever, he regrets absurd things. "I tried to do everything alone", well, Itachi, you were alone and that was not your fault. Is not like you could summon your anbu colleagues and propose a poll to decide what you should do with Danzo's orders. "I was arrogant", like, when did that happen? "I treated you like a child", well, because, he was a child? "I should have involved you, you could have changed the Uchiha" really? involve a 7 year old child? sure he would have been able to convince his family to just endure, why not. All so he wouldn't say the quiet part out loud. Konoha was a genocidal regime and the sole wrong thing here was annihilating the Uchiha, which he did because he was given no choice and, as a child, he was incapable of finding another way. That was probably asking too much of this story, where the military dictators are basically the good guys and their moral is sacrificing their family for the state.
Another funny thing I would like to mention is how Itachi talks about the Uchiha in the edo tensei arc. I talked about this before, but it is as if he was fed and believed all possible nonsensical Uchiha-hating stories:
I understand the message we are trying to convey here. The Uchiha were power-thirsty mean people, see, the genocide was justified. But it doesn't make sense. Assuming every person has two sharingans (Danzo and his sick experiments aside), there is zero possibility for that "endless reworkings" situation. Also, the Uchiha needed a jutsu to keep themselves humble and honorable, because the izanagi was so dishonorable (we only saw it used once in a repetitive, sick way in canon, and it was by Danzo, but whatever). As if the Uchiha are the ones that need to keep their humbleness in check because they have tendencies to do megalomaniac things like hoarding power, accumulating and trading with mass destruction weapons, carving their faces in stone, or commissioning crazy big statues to commemorate their victorious fights. Even when stating that the Uchiha created a jutsu themselves to solve a problem they had among themselves and that never threatened any outsider, they are presented as some irrational, greedy people.
So, in conclusion, Itachi could have been wrong and biased, but he very clearly did not want to be the execution hand of a genocide, he did not hate his clan and he deeply loved his family. But sadly, we have to admit, he was strongly manipulated by Konoha's nationalistic bullshit and died twice with intact and convinced loyalty for Konoha. There is no denying that. However, I take issue when he is framed as a soulless Konoha bootlicker, because he was ready to leak any information he had on Konoha should they do anything to Sasuke, ready to help enemy nations and unleash the war and bloodshed he was trying to avoid with the massacre. He was canonically doing everything to ensure Sasuke's safety, not for Konoha.
In summary, for me, Itachi is a complex character whose contradictions are left unresolved in the narrative because the deranged moral of the story is, sadly, that there are circumstances where a genocide can be justified. And still, I can't help but love this character, mostly because Sasuke loves him so greatly. And Itachi was ready to give up everything for Sasuke, even Konoha and the whole ninja world. I like to believe that this is evidence that the "will of fire" cult didn't win completely with him, and that, ever after betraying his clan, he still kept some of that unfathomable and unconditional love for his family that Konoha could not tolerate in the Uchiha.
#ask#spookyphilosophertaco#anti Konoha#pro Itachi#anti Itachi#yeah I am not sure what it is#so I want to avoid haters from both sides#long post#sorry

Just thinking about reader getting hurt while out doing commissions or something and Dottore absolutely seething silently... Reader is just out gathering materials, nothing unusual. Until some random fatuus come along. Now I like to imagine Dottore tries to keep their relationship somewhat secret? For they're safety and simply for privacy, so most people don't know that they're Dottore's lover. Now, they didn't exactly expect some random agents to come up to them, and especially ones that don't seem so friendly... (I mean, maybe standing around in the cold all day doing nothing gets you rather bored and tempermental...) They probably try to talk it out politely, but the agents simply don't give up, either out of boredom to annoy someone or they accuse you for sneaking around (Since they look like a normal citizen.) Of course, being Dottore's lover, they're by no means weak. But one of the agent's still manages to land a good hit on them with an electro delusion, and they're on the ground before they know it (I doubt being struck by lightning is very nice...) Thankfully the other agent's saw the commotion by the camp and came over, fatui agent's don't typically beat up their own citizens without good reason... Fastforward and they're being held in a medical ward. One of Dottore's subordinates recognizes them and immediately informs him. (To which he is seething. The scalpel that was in his hand was bent backwards from how hard he was gripping it.) Everyone can only clear the path for the harbinger as his footsteps echo through the halls. He insists on taking care of they're wounds, and despite all the atrocities he's ever committed with his hands, those hands are so gentle on them... He will find out who hurt them, no matter if they want to tell him or not. And this doesn't apply to just being physically harmed. Someone made them cry? He'll strangle whoever did that and make it hurt. (All while the clones comfort you of course! <3) And I also think in the akademiya he was the same, but his anger wasn't really as quiet... He would chastise you whenever you got clumsy in a fight and end up injured, scolding you and insulting you while patching you up (He is horribly worried about you getting fatally injured, he just has no idea how to express it without being mean) Some so called scholar won't leave you alone about extorting you to do their work? He'll dig up dirt on them and ruin their lives. (He will deny having anything to do with it.) (This is so long... I really didn't mean to, but I'm really bad at getting my thoughts out in a short manner. I hope at least some of it is coherent, your Dottore works always makes me bounce off the walls <3)
ADWUIDEUD OEEDN ITNDDD WHTAT THI IS MAKING ME BOUNCE OFF THE WALLS TOO??? I don't even know what to add, it's already so good 😫
Unlike Dottore, you can't stay cooped up in a lab all day, you like to get some fresh air (even if you're getting hit by some angry snowflakes) while running some errands for him so the clones don't have to bother doing them. Most people just thought of you as his average assistant, which was good considering Dottore doesn't have the time or patience to deal with the gossiping or rumors regarding him and especially not you (also definitely not the other Harbingers...)
Unfortunately, that has a drawback, which is the fact that some Fatui liked to mess with you since they thought you were a mere easily replaceable assistant. You've dealt with some in the past and sent them on their way, not telling Dottore because you wouldn't want to waste his time with unimportant things like this. This time, however, you weren't so lucky... fighting in such a snowy and slippery landscape was not your expertise... and you ended up with a rather nasty wound. You've gone through worst, but it still hurt, you know?
When Dottore is interrupted from his research, he's initially upset but as soon as the words fly out of the agent's mouth in a hurried and terrified manner (because everyone is scared to even be in his presence much less report to him) it appears like all of that annoyed energy is gone as he asks the agent to repeat himself. And it feels like the room has dropped in temperature, the Doctor's face expressionless as he easily snaps the scalpel, the clanging of it to the floor making the agent's face pale. Dottore doesn't even waste time killing the agent as he simply leaves to go to you. (That subordinate is crying himself to sleep later 😭)
Literally all noise in the camp stops as soon as the 2nd Harbinger comes, he takes one look at you and just takes you out of there (his lab is far more equipped than this pitiful place) It's been a long time since Zandik tended to your wounds, you usually never get hurt since you're quite careful or you always have a clone, so it's a bit nostalgic and heartwarming to feel his hands being so tender... cleaning and applying a salve... wrapping it carefully himself, etc 🥺 He won't press you for answers, because he'll find out he did it really quickly anyway and kill them with no remorse or emotion (he's such a silly!)
UGHHHH AKADEMIYA DOTTORE MY FAV <3 100% correct nonnie 🤭 His lecturing and scolding you hurt you MORE than the wound 😭probably 😭 He would go on and on about wtf were you thinking, you shouldn't have done that, you need to be more careful. Only this is how he expresses his worry since he doesn't know how to cope with caring about someone this much so he just resorts to mean words in hopes you can somehow translate "do you want to die, fool? how can you jump in there like an idiot?" to "you scared me and i don't want you to do that again, i don't like seeing you hurt"
Zandik is a good liar... until the topic of ruining someone's life comes up! You just know he had something to do with it. But... the idea of him sacrificing sleep to make the life of your harasser miserable, instead of using the time to do research, that's how you know you've got him 🤭💖
#smooches talks#dottore love notes <3#i am absolutely so in love w the idea of dottore going even more batshit crazy when his partner is hurt#bro would literally not let ANYTHING slide#even if someone merely looked at you in the wrong way or distastefully ur done. wiped from existence.

genshin reverse au headcanons
in which you’re a character in the hit video game genshin impact, and they’re your biggest fan ; notes: gn!reader, all lower case, reader is a limited 5-star bc i said so, also reader is an antagonist in tartaglia’s part lmao
venti:
if you have any kind of character song or leitmotif, he’s learning it on every instrument he owns. posts an acoustic cover online. (he also writes an original song about you, but he keeps that one to himself, wanting to really perfect it first.)
has pins and keychains of you; you’re probably also his phone wallpaper. reads fanfics of you and goes ‘y/n would NOT say that >:/‘
runs teams centered around you; regardless of what role you are, he makes sure the rest of the team has synergy with you. even if he has to run a specific character that you don’t work well with for whatever reason, you stay on the team lol. any online friends he plays with are so used to this they might accidentally refer to him as y/n.
hums while playing; if you have any singing or humming voice lines, he tries to hum along to them.
tartaglia:
no matter what role you’re supposed to be, he’s running full damage y/n. if you’re supposed to be a support this is extremely confusing to people, especially when they see how well he’s making it work (he likes the challenge). if you’re meant to be a dps anyway, people are still surprised to see the high damage he’s doing and how fast he clears bosses.
probably posts pictures or videos like ‘clearing spiral abyss w just y/n (and traveller) !!’
on that note, he probably does run a one-character team for everything he can. you’re strong enough to win on your own, why would he need anyone else?
does your boss fight/trounce domain on repeat. feels kinda bad for repeatedly beating up his favorite character, but also loves seeing you in your (slightly evil) element.
posts stuff like ‘i support hot people’s rights AND wrongs 🥺💕’ and ‘i don’t want to fix them i love them as they are 💖💞’ next to screenshots of cutscenes where you commit atrocities
lyney:
had been playing before your banner (freminet had introduced him to the game), but you were the first (and likely only) 5star character he c6’d
honestly, lynette is probably sick of hearing about y/n this and y/n that all the time. (she doesn’t play herself, although she sometimes watches her brothers play.) (freminet’s a little sick of it, too, even if you are one of his favorite characters.)
practices small, simple card tricks during cutscenes and loading screens (he has, like, ten decks of cards on his desk alone). gets embarrassed if he fumbles while you’re on screen lol
will try to find a way to do any cool magic you do in game with practical effects. depending on how magical or complicated your abilities are, this might take a while, but he’s determined to look at least almost as cool as you do in game.
probably most likely to cosplay you.

Renaming the chapter to ‘From Midoriya to Shimura’ feels like such a slap in the face because all the other ‘From [x] to [x]’ chapters are focusing on saving in some shape or form. But Deku didn’t save Shigaraki??
Let's see...
Chapter 53: From Todoroki to Iida Todoroki arrives to the Iida-Deku-Stain fight and helps his classmates; Todoroki gives Iida encouraging words - "Never forget who you want to become!" Chapter 84: From Iida to Midoriya Class 1A discusses plans to rescue Bakugou, despite this breaking rules; Deku, Momo, Todoroki, and Kirishima prepare to head out, when Iida comes to punch Deku for his recklessness, and calls him out on worrying people; Iida joins the team Chapter 321: From Class A to One For All Class 1A confronts Edgy Deku, trying to talk sense into him and ask to join his fight; teamworks allow Iida to grab Deku's hand Chapter 418: From Midoriya to Shimura Deku is inside Shigaraki/Tenko's darkest and most traumatic memory; Deku holds Tenko's hands, symbolically preventing him from decaying the family, to give him relief from the guilt and self-loathing he's been carrying all these years; Shigaraki/Tenko acknowledges that his hatred may be gone, but chooses to stay a Hero for the Villains
The previous three ‘From [x] to [x]’ chapters contains someone arriving for someone in trouble, and giving them help in some form, usually by talking some sense into them. The goal is to quell their chaotic heart - Todoroki trying to get Iida out of his vengeful mindset, Iida trying to get Deku to understand the worrying recklessness of his actions, Class A trying to bring Deku home and stop being acting like a like wolf.
If so, then Chapter 418 does fit the pattern: Deku is here to soothe Shigaraki's raging, guilt-ridden heart. The other chapters had a lot more talking and actual, more believable heart-to-heart content, but still, this is Deku arriving to give help to Shigaraki/Tenko, who's in trouble. This is Deku validating Tenko's existence, which Tenko had expressed doubt over - that despite decay, despite the familicide, despite the later Villainy, Deku is unafraid to hold Tenko's hands (because this is the vestige realm so he can survive; sucks that Nao tried to run to her kid and got decayed and so it's like her fault for not surviving), and is here at all to save the inner Child.
And Deku does arguably succeed. Tenko's hatred "cracks" and Tenko is able to think of happier times, of that moment he played with Mikkun and Tomo-chan and felt the seed of Heroic desire. As I've said before, Deku saves Shigaraki/Tenko's heart. That's the save. This chapter is when Midoriya Izuku got through to Shimura Tenko, the Crying Child.
It's just that Shigaraki/Tenko rejects the save. Deku got through to him but Shigaraki/Tenko says no. Or rather, decides the Hero he wants to be is a Hero for the Villains (which I guess is incompatible with the world's heroism?). And then also AFO shows up and Shigaraki's body falls apart and it's somewhat ambiguous whether Deku really is responsible for Shigaraki's death or not.
So technically: Midoriya did save Shimura's Crying Child heart - Shigaraki later vaguely admits this in Chapter 423, where he acknowledges that maybe he really was just a crying brat, so he accepts Deku's statement that Deku stopped the cycle of sadness. Shigaraki dies—not happy, but more at peace, and that is what truly matters. According to the story I guess.
(That, or the title has it that Shigaraki and Tenko might as well be separate people. Deku saves Tenko but did not save Shigaraki. But Tenko is the (15-years-past ghost) child who needed saving, while Shigaraki is the adult villain who committed atrocities, so it's accurate to use "From Midoriya to Shimura" because Shimura gets saved but Shigaraki does not (and deserves not.))

have read a publication about i-no and I was fascinated by your analysis. So I want your opinion on why the hatred/enmity between her and Sol?
So I can hazard a couple guesses based on my limited knowledge of certain Xrd story beats, but here's what I've got (under a cut because this is VERY long:
Both I-No and Sol are non human for the majority of their interactions: Sol is a Gear because of Asuka, and I-No is a Magical Foci created by the hopes and desires of every human on earth during the crusades. Both have been forced into a kind of "Savior" role (Sol by Asuka, who said he "needed a warrior" for the things to come in Overture, and I-No just by the very fact that she was created by Humanity's earnest wishes for the crusade to end being focused into her in the backyard)
Now, the key difference here is that I-No has half her power taken by The Original/Happy Chaos before she can become a God, because he believes that that would be a bad thing. The unfortunate side effect this has is that it rips I-No's ability to feel things and have desires from her, and that eventually causes her to become EXTREMELY jaded and cold (her constant hedonistic attitude towards life is a facade she puts up because of this).
Now we start getting into my own interpretation of events here, so whether or not this is all correct is a total matter of analysis and how much lore I actually correctly understand or not (essentially: "Hey I could be wrong or missing some details here, so please take what I'm about to say from here on out with a grain of salt")
Guilty Gear has this running theme of what humanity REALLY is and how people who are non human can still possess humanity; in a world where a lot of new creatures exist and have sapience thanks to magic, is it really just to still claim that these things are "lesser" because we decide that "Humanity" is unique to one species? I think Guilty Gear says both "No" and "Being human doesn't necessarily make you capable of humanity - having humanity is a choice you make"
Look at Sol Badguy - the man spends the whole series desperately clinging to and chasing the humanity he's lost. Even being a Gear he experiences IMMENSE guilt over the atrocities he commits to the point that he isolates himself for a large part of the series while he desperately and violently tries to undo the damage the gear project that he and his friends created unleashed on the world. He has to clean up a mess that he is in part responsible for, and one that Asuka made worse and then forced him to be a part of by converting his Fiance into Justice and then himself into the ONLY Gear that could stop her (Hence Sol being the titular "Guilty Gear")
Now you have I-No. This is the part where I remind you I-No ONLY exists because of the Crusades. She was essentially wished into being by the victims of the Crusades so that someone could stop them. The crusades started because of The Gear Project and Justice declaring war on humanity. In a way, Sol Badguy is responsible for her (very miserable) existence. Couple that with the fact that thanks to The Original taking half her power, she awoke essentially half-made with this inherent desire to fix the world (because of Humanity's wish) meaning that she has this intense power and only a vague idea of how to use it and what she should use it for that she doesnt totally understand, and that will likely breed frustration. Xrd however compounds this a little:
We learn in Xrd that I-No has repeatedly tried, and failed, to use her time powers to stop a ruinous future from coming to pass. This mostly involves Ramlethal, but it's stated at some point that the massive Gear stomping around in the Ruined Future is Sol, having lost control of his Gear Cells and bloodlust (it's stated a few times that without the limiter and if he "dies" somehow that Sol will lose control of himself and convert somehow into a fully violent out of control gear but I'm not as familiar with the specifics of that whole deal)
So essentially, Sol and I-No have both been forced into this Savior Type role. However, I-No knows Sol as both responsible for a lot of stuff, and as a potential danger and even catalyst for the end of the world. Inherently, because of her own purpose as a Magical Foci, she hates him for that. I think for Sol it's just that this woman seems to keep getting in his way and pissing him off on purpose and fucking with him - and just in general Sol has very thin patience for that kind of person. I-No also works with That Man (Asuka) who he hates with a burning passion because of what he did to Aria and himself. That's one way to look at it.
The other way to look at it is that even though Sol and I-No have slightly similar goals, the TYPE of world they end up wanting is different come Strive; Sol wants his humanity back (which he gets) and I-No wants a world where EVERYONE is like her. It boils down to this: Sol has what I-No seemingly, at least from her perspective, can never have: humanity. I think I-No's actions by the end of Strive are actions that ultimately become fueled entirely by frustration and jealousy - she is trapped in a world that does not make sense to her and cannot hold her as she was meant to exist. She has no identity or as Ky puts it "Present" to live in (hence her obsession with the future). Sol does because he was able to cling to his own desires and chase his humanity until he finally caught up to it, but because of the aforementioned issue of having half her powers taken away from her, I-No couldn't even believe in her own feelings or desires as "real." She says that to Jack-O in the interrogation room when talking about her memories with Will. So basically, I-No was never even given the ability to chase what she really "wanted," she couldn't even if she tried to. She had only her inherent purpose, and in a way, Sol took that from her by having everything she wanted and also fulfilling her role in place of her by saving the world. A fair few times even. That's why she ends up trying to create a world of her own design when she gets her full power back in Strive's story.
The tragedy of I-No is that she is very much like Sol, except she was doomed from the very start. She was created with only half a self, born into and shackled to a purpose that she never had any chance of fulfilling. I think largely the enmity between the two stems from jealousy over all that, but also, just the very fact that the two butted heads on a very similar path that differed JUUUUST enough to make them really hate eachother.
That's just my take on it though. There's more I could get into here with how the Axl/I-No relationship fits into I-No's story but that doesn't have as much to do with her and Sol hating eachother (actually I got off on a few tangents related to your original question overall but I hope I ended up answering it at least somewhat LOL). I definitely reccommend asking around and seeing what other people think of it because admittedly while the passion is there for me when it comes to guilty gear lore, I still have a comparatively ramshackle understanding of a lot of plot beats and motivations when it comes to some other Gearsters around here. I do like talking though so thanks for the ask!

season 1, episode 5 continued
27. “Swear to me you won’t take your eyes off of clary. I, I can’t believe I even asked you that. you won’t let me down.”- jace. I can’t believe you asked that either jace. all he does is take advantage of Alec. he expects Alec to drop everything and help him right away. so not only does Alec have to watch someone he cares for falls in love with another girl, he has to babysit that same girl who is already causing enough chaos with his life and family
27. this is something clary will never understand. she doesn’t care about the law because it’s in her way.
28. Alec knows if he messes up, he will be held accountable. Jocelyn didn’t teach that to clary. Alec wants to be a leader and he’s aware that rules exist for a reason
29. and then clary is like I know you’ve been trying to help but basically you can do more. bitch, she is asleep, she’s not hurt, and Valentine has an army. you can’t just walk in and pick up your mother and be out. I’m trying to be sympathetic but she’s a migraine
30. Alec is already in trouble because of clary and here she goes wanting to go to her old loft without getting clave permission. not only does she need to be kept safe but she wants to go out where so many people are already probably hunting her. fucking hell, this girl doesn’t have a brain
31. okay so Magnus is getting right to it 🔥
32. ruining a perfectly good date Alec and Magnus could have had but noooooooooo clary had to go run off AGAIN. so not only has alec broken so many rules for her but she has literally no respect for Alec. not only does jace like clary but Alec has to witness jace’s feelings day in and day out. Alec has to babysit her while he gets berated by his own mother and then jace. GIVE THIS MAN A BREAK
33. I’m sorry but how is it Alec’s fault that she ran off?????
34. “You know the difference between the circle and the clave? I don’t. They all look the same to me. Shadowhunters think they are better than us. They’re the ones killing each other over petty disagreements. They expect us to obey orders they don’t follow themselves.”-wolf leader (I can’t think of his name) but man has a point. shadowhunters in general do think they’re better. they had the uprising but shadowhunters still don’t talk about how their own “people” committed atrocities and look at downworlders as if they’re the problem. Valentine was jealous of downworlders having powers he didn’t. Shadowhunters started hunting downworlders first I believe. Jace gets punishment in season two because he didn’t swear allegiance to the clave but he killed a wolf and I didn’t see much punishment for that. the clave and shadowhunters can do whatever and it’s not a problem until a downworlder does the same
36. Alec: am I gay? yes I’m gay but not gay for him
37. it’s insane how clary runs off and jace’s first instinct is to blame Alec. because that’s his fault, how??????
38. Simon gets kidnapped again because of clary because she ran off yet again.
39. Alec watching Simon climbing and being quick and seeing runes and he’s like now wait a damn minute. “running fire escapes excites mundanes, ill never understand these people” 💀
40. and the fact is, alec is genuinely worried and mad. he knows his mom will rip him a new one when she finds out. he also knows jace will be angry because jace is obsessed with clary. he could’ve been training at the institute or having a drink with Magnus but he has to babysit and now chase a stupid 18 year old girl because she didn’t care enough to sit her childish ass down. literally Alec can never be happy with all of his responsibilities. he has to keep jace out of trouble and now clary and prove to his parents that he can handle it. it’s not that surprising that he doesn’t seem happy.
41. (he’s just so fucking beautiful) 🥰
I don’t really see many people actually talking about what Alec goes through in the first season. Maryse is always spewing hateful comments towards Alec because apparently he’s not good enough, jace states Alec isn’t doing a good enough job, like he doesn’t really have anyone in his corner. he spends the first season getting berated. so no wonder he’s not happy
part 3 coming to a stadium near ya ✨

Can you perhaps write a reader whose a war veteran/anti-war photographer with the DMC boys?
She became an anti war photographer after witnessing multiple horrors and war crimes committed by both her country as well as many others during her time serving as a front line soldier
When they ask her why she finally chose to become an anti-war photographer, she confessed that she can’t keep turning a blind eye to every atrocities committed by some soldiers ( some nights, her guilt of ignoring both her ex-comrade’s as well as other soldier’s war crimes comes to eat her up, reminding her of who she was and what she could’ve done to prevent their war crimes but instead she chose to stay ignorant as she didn’t have a backbone then )
So that’s how she became an anti-war photographer, to raise awareness of the after effects of war the governments chose to keep silent about in hopes to press enough pressure on them to apologize for their committed war crimes. Not just war, but also to raise awareness about silent genocides still happening in some parts of the world
A small part of her reasoning has to do with the fact she still feels guilty of feigning ignorance to the war crimes she had to commit as well as other’s so she became a photographer in hopes to feel less guilty abt herself
Yes, of course, enjoy!
Sparda boys + V x Veteran!Reader headcannons
¤ Dante ¤
-Dante was worried about you, and how you always run out to the front lines to take pictures of all the atrocities going on over there, then sending them to news sites so word can be spread.
-He couldn't understand why you did this. You were a veteran, someone who'd been in combat plenty of times in your life, why would you want to go back?
-After some time, he decidedd to ask you about it, not at all prepared for the response you gave him.
-You publicly displayed your opinions against war because you felt guilty for all the crimes you committed during your time in service and wanted to show the world that war was harmful, as a way to atone for your sins.
-While Dante thought that was a noble effort, he didn't want you going out there and putting yourself in danger.
-If you weren't going to reel it in, then he would go with you to ensure your safety.
■ Vergil ■
-Vergil never paid any mind to humans and their foolishness; they could wage all the wars they wanted and he wouldn't care.
-However, that all changed after discovering you were an anti-war photographer who readily charged into the fray to expose the harsh truth of battles.
-He instantly became more concerned with affairs such as these, though only for your safety.
-He once traveled to the front lines with you, and while what he saw was horrific, it wasn't anything he hadn't seen before.
-He later asked you why you did all this, and what you hoped to gain from doing such dangerous work. After hearing your reasoning, he decides you are a fool.
-While what you do might cleanse you of your guilt and all that, there's no denying you're willingly putting yourself in danger, and that you could likely get killed taking pictures of the violence. You must understand, he doesn’t intend to sound like he wants to crush your dreams; if something were to ever happen to you, he'd never get over it.
□ Nero □
-Nero knew you were a war veteran and that you'd seen some shit, but he didn't think it was so bad, you'd start becoming an anti war photographer.
-Getting you to explain why you do what you do was difficult, as it was a sensitive topic, but once you revealed the truth, Nero understood.
-Not that he's opposing you. If anything, Nero's supportive of you and your feelings. He's seen a lot of violence too, remember?
-He is concerned about your safety, but that just gives him an excuse to tag along and help take pictures.
-He's not scared of the blood and gore, nor does he enjoy it; he just wants to help you in any way that he can.
-He's your assistant, cameraman, editor and pretty much anything you need him to be. Even though he isn't as zealous about promoting anti-war material, he still helps because he knows this is your passion.
● V ●
-V didn't think much of your profession when he saw/heard of it.
-It's your business to do what makes you happy, and if taking pictures of the violence on war fronts makes you happy, then so be it.
-While V is rather worried about you out there, Griffon frequently assures him he has nothing to worry about; you can take care of yourself, and if he's really that worried, then he go with you.
-V decides to take this sage advice and accompany you on your next journey. Needless to say, he did not enjoy it. No one did.
-Upon returning from that traumatic trip, V asked you why you would willingly charge into such a dark place like that, knowing the horrors that lay in wait.
-Your response was equally as dark; it showed him just how much battle had scarred you and how far you were willing to go to atone for what you'd done.

[sees radiostatic vampire! AU] arrax, my darling, my dearest...marry me lol
ANYHOW i would kill for poor vox finding himself trapped in a Renfield-esque situation with a powerful vampire because he’s just Too Fucking Pretty — lmfao, he Would. getting sick imagining demon! Al seeing what happened to his bestie/future wife and going ballistic, spending literal centuries trying to find a way to free vox’s soul from his sire with (I can imagine) the very limited contact he can make as a demon in the human world, committing All of the atrocities and playing his cards right with the upper echelon in the hopes that he can somehow gain a corporeal form again; meanwhile, poor vox is wallowing so deeply in his religious guilt and missing his friend and What Has My Life Become that he writes off all of Al’s attempts to communicate with him from the afterlife as hallucinations/fever dreams from one too many nights at the bar. He *is* confused as to why he’s imagining his dead best friend with deer antlers and an ATROCIOUS haircut, like What was in that scotch, but those moments are the few and far between in his monotonous and miserably prolonged existence that he milks it for all he can (aka Alastor definitely stuck around into the late hours of the evening possessing any radio/mirror/hapless human bartender in vox’s vicinity so that he could listen to his love rant about his boss while shit-faced, whispering softly as to guide Vox to good potential targets)
Thing is, though: I can see Wannabe Dracula noticing Al’s presence — maybe because something something freaky demon magic stuff, maybe because he notices that hopeful sparkle and pure adoration in those lovely eyes once more — and oh, he is pissed; you see, he’s been dangling the promise of somehow allowing his familiar the chance to see his beloved once more as long as he swears his eternal servitude and devotion to him for decades now (he’s lying through his teeth and vox knows it deep down, but can’t bring himself to admit it) and that smiling fuckface is trying to intrude on HIS plans, take away HIS precious pet? so, he starts to tighten his control on Vox: running him ragged to lure and fetch him his meals, never letting him get proper rest and nutrients, and only worsening the issues by draining him of his blood until he’s tethering on the brink of death — it’s gotten so bad to the point where the very few (secret) human friends Vox has managed to make in his increasingly rare moments of freedom assume he’s an anaemic trapped in an abusive relationship and try their damnedest to get him help. The thing is: Vox can’t even bring himself to fully hate his sire or his possessive actions because if he closes his eyes and let’s his mind wander, he can pretend those cold lips against his neck as Alastor’s, that all of this is *worth it* for Alastor, and by God, does he hate himself for it...
So when that one fateful night happens, when he feels those warm arms again around his waist, protecting him from the midnight chill, and that wonderful, mellifluous voice crooning in his ear, Vox can’t help himself. Once the shock settles, he weeps and throws weak punches at the smiling face he’s been dreaming about seeing again for so, so long. Alastor sees his beloved, weak, disheveled and pale, those lovely eyes bruised and hideous bitemarks blemishing fair skin that vox has been feebly trying to hide with turtlenecks, and he sees red. Oh, how he wishes so badly to tear that wretched vampire limb from limb with his bare hands and present Vox the still-beating heart to consume on a silver platter — but he’s forced to push those lovely thoughts to the back of his mind, for another day, as, with Vox’s “schedule and Alastor only having limited use of his physical form for now, the two of them are living on borrowed time. So he settles for pulling Vox in close once his love has had his fill of sobbing/cursing him out, gently brushing his dark curls from his eyes as he kisses the tears away, relishing in the bitter taste.
Vox lets himself be guided away to safety in the shadows of a dark alleyway — ironically, much in the same way he would lure his own prey — as Alastor trails hungry, possessive kisses down his throat, roughly pinning his wrists against the wall and tracing the letters of his name along any blue vein he comes across, slicing his own wrist to feed the poor thing before *properly* for the first time in months. His master’s furious demands reduced to nothing more than an annoying insect’s buzz in his ears, Vox throws his head back and allows himself to truly enjoy the moment as Alastor growls into the crook of his neck, sharp teeth grazing sweet skin but not biting, not *yet*.
“He wants you, the pathetic fool, he *craves* you, but he’ll NEVER have you — not when *I* saw you first, my dear...”
hey mk wanna know a fun fact. about an hour or so after you sent this in yesterday i got a followup ask from arrax about the vampire radiostatic au. geniuses truly do think alike huh love that for you guys! let me officiate the (un)holy union
ANYWAY..... your mind is truly so very powerful. the idea of al trying to reach vox in any way he can, travelling through radio frequencies or hacking into on-earth radio broadcasts / possessing people around vox to talk to him so that he can reassure him and make sure hes doing alright ...... URHGH they make me SICK . al fucking HATES seeing vox broken down and chained to a master who treats him in such a way and if he had more power he'd no doubt kill vox's vampire sire, but as it is the amount of power lucifer granted to him simply wasnt enough to even assume a fully corporeal form, much less take on an ancient vampiric lord
and the scene in the alleyway URGHDHD... i absolutely cannot with them they are SO disgustingly in love. in this scenario i feel like alastor would probably end up striking a deal with charlie to help her with her hotel, so long as she helps convince her father to help out vox. does it work? probably, actually. when he finally amasses enough power to tear the old bastard apart, though, the first thing he does is give part of that demonic energy to vox and guide him to kill his sire himself
#SORRY FOR THE DRY RESPONSE im not very smart rn#<- just finished a major assessment and ive got an essay to write but i REALLY wanted to get to this#ran rambles#hazbin hotel#general asks#radiostatic#vampire vox au
