The Valar and their glow - visual HCs

Ok. So the Valar canonically all glow in their usual forms and it's like they glow from the inside. I like to draw it, but I also loved a fanart of Nienna with glowing tears, and I like making lists, so I decided to assign to each Vala a body part (loosely interpreted) that is their brightest.

Manwë: his breath. Imagine that you're outside in the cold and your breath is doing this cloud thing and you shine a flashlight on it. Something like this. The light fades as it dissipates.

Varda: all of her, but centered on the face, like a smooth transition from a very very bright have to a bright body. It's canon-inspired. The light is white, and very stable (doesn't flicker).

Aulë: his fingers, with an uneven gradient to hands and arms.

Yavanna: her arteries glow white and her veins gold under her skin. In her plant forms, the flowers and fruit glow too.

Námo: his eyes when open (even under a veil)

Vairë: her hair and her threads. Her fingers are often stained with light from all the weaving.

Nienna: her tears. This is from a fanart, sadly I don't remember who made it.

Irmo: his eyes when closed.

Este: she isn't bright to look on, but there are no shadows near her. If you ever did 3d graphics: imagine an invisible light source. She emits light that illuminates, but is not hard on the eyes and she's not hard to look at.

Ulmo: he's always somewhat translucent, even if not water-like, it's something like porcelain. And he just glows volumetrically. It's not very even or static, more as if glowing speckles were swimming inside him.

Oromë: tattoos made of light, (because "his teeth and nails glow" would be too goofy. It would be, right?). And if he has antlers, they do glow too.

Vána: freckles made of light, not only on the face, but on her back and shoulders too.

Tulkas: his muscles glow when they contact. For example: he glows when he flexes.

Nessa: her footprints glow, the glow fades in time.

Melkor back when he was bright: an uneven, pulsating radial gradient centered on his heart. (I can't get over the fact that the word for "heart" and for "rising" (in his name) is the same, it feels like more than just elvish idiosyncracy, like his name being ambiguous fits so well. And he chose the second meaning. )

It seems some people haven't caught onto chubby men also having hella biceps. And I am here to spread the word. I have one contender I politely ask (demand) everyone get on board with, for a man who's got that good ol' squish, AND, hella thicc biceps.

How long has it been since I made an one piece post?

Anyway, my pals and gals, an old AU I have:

Law: Luffy-ya, we have discussed this before.

Luffy: Discussed what?

Luffy surrounded by ten puppies he found in the alleyway nearby:

Law:

Law: YOU CAN'T KEEP BRINGING STRAY ANIMALS TO THE APARTMENT!

Luffy: But they need a HOME!

Law: There is aN ALLIGATOR IN MY ROOM

Do you sometimes just look at a man and wonder how is he real?

It's so funny to me that the fandom has come to see Hirano as a Sasamiya promoter of sorts because while he is, it took him some time to get accustomed to the idea of them together. And while he was never a hater Sasaki's actions towards Miyano certainly used to get on his nerves.

At first he was so worried and probably even felt a little guilty because (as mentioned in the following screenshot) because the only reason why Sasaki knows which class Miya is in, is thanks to him.

But like, that's not the face of a friend that's happy to play cupid and get their two acquaintances together. Not at all, that's the face of someone who puts his sempai-kouhai relationship with Miyano over his (pseudo) friendship with Sasaki.

Hirano from the first chapters would have jailed Sasaki if he were allowed to. (And he has his reasons, Sasaki has been something since the first chapters)

Anyway, the progression of events is really interesting.

He started, quite literally, shielding Miyano from Sasaki.

Then, he came to accept their relationship.

And at the end he really was rooting for them, to the point he ended up outright lying just so Miyano could meet Sasaki and they could talk it out and confess.

I LIKE HOW IF YOU'RE A FAN OF WILL WOOD THERES A VERY GOOD CHANCE THAT YOU'RE ALSO A FAN OF LEMON DEMON AND TALLY HALL.

I GUESS ITS THE SAME WAY IMAGINE DRAGONS, TWENTY ONE PILOTS AND FALL OUT BOY ALSO HAVE VERY MIXED FANBASES TOO.

ITS REALLY FUN BECAUSE IT JUST DOESN'T FEEL LIKE ONE SINGLE FANBASE ITS JUST THE HOLY TRINITY OF LSD AND MUSICAL THEATRE AND A BUNCH OF SPLINTER FANBASES MIXING IN TOO LIKE SHAYFER JAMES OR MOTHER MOTHER.

Has anyone noticed how Nancy has absolutely no chill when it comes to Ace. I mean she is usually very rational and logical but when it comes to Ace she has like two braincells. Since the earliest episodes she has no sense of personal space when it comes to him and ONLY him. She tries to sacrifice her life to save her friends after he hints that she put their lives in danger. She gives a list of witnesses to a criminal and makes a shady deal with her grandmother to exonerate her grandfather to save his life. Legit goes to his house to confess her feelings for him even though he was in a relationship at the time. Kisses the next guy she sees after she thinks he stood her up and breaks up with him the very next day after Ace confesses his feelings. Offers Temperance her blood in exchange to save his life. Sacrifices a wholeass town (temporarily) for a chance to be with him. Tries to stay away from him and nearly folds every time he merely looks at her. Brushes off almost dying to try again to be with him. The absolute low, barely leaves her house after their breakup. Tries to send him signs and gestures to fight for her. Recognizes the sound of his car, the sight of his shoes and even the sound of his footsteps (girl, how?). And my personal favorite, accidentally starts a literal death game because she couldn’t handle him seeming indifferent to her dancing with someone else. And these are just the ones I can think of on the top of my head. I’ve seen so many posts about how Nancy moves on too fast and how she doesn’t care about Ace the way he cares about her and it baffles me. Because this girl is so in love that she barely sees anything but him. All her sound logic and calm flies right out of the window and she becomes this unhinged, chaotic version who’s willing to do anything and everything when it comes to him. She has a coping mechanism of getting into rebound relationships and Ace has definitely loved Nancy longer but that in no way means that she loves him any less.
