LOCATION: JD’s House WHO: @juandiego-flores
Stranger, it was the perfect word to describe anyone now in his life. Just a few weeks ago, Santiago stumbled into Opulence and changed from a witch to a siren with no recollection of the event that transpired or well anything. Thankfully, he had a wonderful family that came and picked him up but he didn’t know them from adam. The one named Juan Diego offered his house, since Santiago lost his apartment for not paying rent the last few months given his disappearance. It seemed JD was putting in effort in rebuilding their relationship, which helped significantly.
Today was like any other day, he got back from his doctor’s appointment doing a few scans of his brains and trying to do memory exercises, but still nothing. Thankfully, JD was home when he got to the house and it was an opportunity to get to know his brother all over again. Seeing JD in the kitchen, he walked in and offered a soft smile, “hey JD,” he softly said. “So I was wondering if maybe you wanted to hangout if you’re not busy? Maybe do something we used to do before I lost my memory, whatever that might be.”

LOCATION: Flores Estate WHO: @juandiego-flores
“Did not expect for you to show up unannounced,” Alejandro remarked towards his eldest brother as he greeted the older Flores. “Unless, you are here for Adelita,” he responded as he let his brother inside. “Where have you been man? Our mother kept questioning me as if I had some notion of what you were up to.” With his brother close, Alejandro walked into the kitchen to prepare a snack for the two of them so they could talk and catch up. “You thirsty? I am sure Adelita won’t mind if you want to get into her personal tequila collection. Or there of course is some homemade horchata if you just want something refreshing, I think it was made yesterday. And I made some jalapeno lemonade a few days ago, whatever your preference.” He spoke before handing his brother a small bowl of arroz con leche. “So what’s been going, catch me up JD.”

“Absolutely, I totes will let you know so we can talk it all over.” It brightened his day knowing his brother wanted to be part of his life and not just part of it, but participate in it. “Um, is Slytherin bad or something? Should I Google it?” He inquired with his usual playfulness, bubbly personality.
“Was I always nice? Or is it just now?” Santiago questioned curiously. No one really told him how he was in life before he lost his memories. Sure, he had friends but was that a childhood obligation or did they genuinely like him as an adult? There were so many questions and he wasn’t exactly sure how to ask everyone about who he was without setting off alarms. “Awesome! I’m excited,” he pulled a blanket over him to curl up to get all cozy on JD’s couch.
Juan Diego nodded and smiled “Yeah I guess that’s the point.” It was a great idea to have his brother read them again, he was probably going to love it, except for the part about the sirens, it wasn’t like the most accurate representation of the magic world they live in, but there was something beautiful about that world that he kind of wish it was true “Hey you should, let me know when you start and we can discuss, also don’t judge me for being a Slytherin” He smiled knowing that back when it was out this was a whole joke subject.
“Well that’s because you are nice, nice people always end up having great friends around them.” He laughed and nodded “Yeah of course, what’s a movie night without popcorn.”

El Cid moves his Camp from the southern tip of Iberia which is Tarifa to Muluya in North Africa in order to collect his Roll of Patron Request from Wali Qasim. Along the way whilst traveling, his Personal Physician Najat Hassunid gets adopted by a Pet Cat.
In the meantime in the desert, Mistress Ximena gives birth to El Cid's 2nd son - Diego Jimenez de Vivar.
Having moved to Muluya, there's a change in the terrain scenery from that of green lush vegetation to a dry desert landscape with prickly cacti. Wali Qasim of Muluya grants El Cid a unit of Camel Riders which are regional to North Africa as a bonus reward for a job well done defending Muluya.
El Cid enters Missour Castle in Muluya with his wife Ximena exploring the place thoroughly.
Firstly, at the Training Grounds El Cid recruits the local Master of Arms to become his Master of Arms - a Butr man by the name of Tahir who is Homely but Robust. Next, at the tavern he follows a wanted criminal called Maziba down a stairwell into the cellar, but does not have enough gold to recruit him. At the merchants' stalls, El Cid sells off his Quail's Eggshell "Gem" for a higher price at 17 gold and then intimidates the supply merchant for a free 400 provisions.
Scouring the lands of North Africa, El Cid comes across a mercenary contract for Wali Shumayl ibn Hammama of Tanas requiring military aid to defend against neighbouring Yalala. El Cid quickly joins and defeats the enemy at the Battle of Sharshal with his Camel Riders and Caballeros. Not long after, Wali Shumayl wins the war and pays El Cid 70 gold for his efforts.
El Cid makes a calculated move to Tanas, having impressed Wali Shumayl and wanting to collect his due Patron Request from the Wali. During the move, his Second and Best Friend Alvar gets into a scuffle with Agahli "the Heathen", to which El Cid intervenes before it gets out of hand.
The Loyal Vassals' Pavilion gets upgraded to level 2, and the surrounding terrain changes as well to a mountainous region with sparse trees and rocks.
Arriving in Tanas, El Cid's first order of business is to go fishing. He rents a small boat and bags a large mackerel which gives him 200+ Provisions.
Next, El Cid holds a Camp Revelry for his followers and the Guest-of-Honor Wali Shumayl of Tanas. The Fireside Chat attracts 2 more followers to the Camp: Juan, the Shrewd Castilian who seems oddly out-of-place in Tanas, and T'awes Jalayar, a Slow Giantess of immense strength and fighting ability.

I shall tell you abt my ggg OC María as well.
It all started a cold day in Townsville’s Latino district, where a unknown woman rushed out of an apartment building and into a taxi, urging the driver, Juan Diego Mantilla, to take her where she could give birth in peace. As Juan Diego drove her, tho, she couldn’t cope no more and give birth to a baby girl at 15:53 on interstate 29, aboard Juan Diego’s cab. As soon as they got into the hospital, however, she refused her daughter and ditched after resting a few days after. Feeling responsible for the baby girl, Juan Diego took her to an orphanage, where he occasionally visited her and brought her gifts and money.
But life at the orphanage quickly became too crowded for the young María, and at the tender age of 2, she wandered away into the streets, where she survived off the shopkeepers for food and the other families for a place to sleep.
It changed once again when the gang decided to raid a local bakery and found María there, eating chocolate sponge cake. Arturo took a liking for her immediately, and started frequenting the place often to chat with María. After a couple of weeks, the gang decided to take her home as Arturo’s adopted daughter and protégé.
Wait I'm lowkey invested now

I told him I’d send a copy of the photo, but my pen had frozen, so he suggested I make a photo of his IG page. I dreamed I was on a university campus, which reminded me a lot of the Tec. I was sitting at one of those outdoor tables, under umbrellas, chatting with some guys. I had with me a new notebook that I really liked, with a raw cardboard cover just the way I prefer. When the bell rang, I got up to head to class and, on the way, I bumped into Juan Diego. Recently, Gerardo had reached out to me, which led me to dream about him and Miguel C. a few days ago, and now about Juan Diego, surely because he came up in the conversation. I get the feeling that Juan Diego is trying to reach out to me, especially since Ricardo has also been asking about him lately. Juan Diego was a very unpleasant 'friend' in my youth because he was a traitor. Alone with me, he was friendly, but in front of others, he treated me poorly, humiliated me, and was violent towards me.

Belfast’s Jude Hill Confronts His Newfound Fame
The 11-year-old actor plays a young version of Sir Kenneth Branagh in the director's Golden Globe-winning autobiographical film.
One might think that the significance of playing the role of the legendary director and actor Sir Kenneth Branagh as a child might be lost on an 11-year-old. But Jude Hill, who stars as Buddy in Branagh’s latest film, Belfast, gets it. Alongside Jamie Dornan, Caitriona Balfe, Ciarán Hinds, and Judi Dench, Hill shines as a kid who is forced to confront the violence that shook the Northern Irish capital in the late 1960s. For W’s annual Best Performances issue, Hill chats with Editor at Large Lynn Hirschberg about the films he loves, a highlight from his first trip to Los Angeles, and why watching Belfast made him cry.
You play the young Sir Kenneth Branagh in Belfast, a semi-autobiographical film about the actor and filmmaker’s early life. Did you know anything about him?
I was a big fan! I had to pinch myself every day just to make sure I wasn’t dreaming.
How did they tell you that you got the part?
One morning I woke up, and it was a normal school day, and nothing really special was happening. And my mom got an email, and I read the first two words, and I ran around my house screaming, because I couldn't believe I got the part.
And you live near Belfast, right?
I live about 40 minutes from Belfast. Almost every single weekend we go down there. But we filmed in London across two different locations, and the set design was amazing: In two days they had built an entire replica of 1969 Belfast.
Jude Hill wears a Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello coat; Raf Simons shorts; Thom Browne shirt; Falke socks; Church’s shoes; stylist’s own stick pin.
Have you always wanted to act?
I remember when I was 5 or 6, watching Marvel films, and I just had a passion for acting the entire time. I love Harry Potter as much as Marvel, and as soon as I saw Kenneth Branagh’s face, I was like, He’s in Harry Potter!
This is your first trip to Los Angeles. What’s your favorite thing that you’ve done?
The Jurassic World ride at Universal Studios! We got wet, but it was really, really fun.
Is there a movie that has made you cry?
The first time I watched Belfast, I cried. I cried for the first half hour. Even the uncut version made me start crying, because it was my first time seeing my face on the massive screen, and it was just amazing to see that.

April 22, 2019
Monday morning, Iris and I woke up at 6. Man, that’s early! At least we fell asleep before 10 the night before. We both put on a little make up, and packed up our things. At 6:30, we went down for breakfast, right when it opened. I had the same things for breakfast, bread and butter and jam, and cereal, and maracuya juice (passion fruit, it’s sooooo tasty!). Iris and I chatted with a group of three girls, and a singular traveler, Joyce.
After breakfast, we gave reception our key, and in return, got a little surprise. The night before, my powder face sunscreen had exploded in my purse, so I used a towel to clean it out. They charged me for the towel! Even though it would come out in the wash? That was wild. We all hung around the lobby, and we were supposed to leave at 7am for the airport. Our flight was at 9:44 to Cusco. Unfortunately, we didn’t leave the hotel until almost 7:30! There was a lot of traffic, and Peruvians are a little crazy when it comes to driving, so we didn’t get to the airport until 8:45, only one hour before our flight.
I checked with a LATAM representative and she told us we didn’t have to check our backpacks, and I had checked in the night before online, so Iris and I were in the clear for security. Thankfully, everything moved pretty fast, and we got through security with 20 minutes until boarding began. Phew! We all lined up and got on a bus again, and only a regular sized plane, with two rows of three seats each.
Iris and I were sitting in row 14, next to a Peruvian woman. I tried to sleep a bit on the hour and a half flight, and got a little snooze in. Before you know it, it was 11:20 and we landing in Cusco! Even walking around the airport, I could tell how my breathing was labored. Cusco is more than 11,000 feet above sea level. Bolivia was a little more than that, and I definitely noticed the elevation there, too. Iris and I had been taking elevation sickness pills in advance, so hopefully that was going to work!
Getting through the airport was super easy. A porter for Kaypi tour found a group of eight of us, from the same flight. We realized that everyone else were on different flights! I thought they had missed them for sure, with having to check their bags and whatnot. I’m glad no one did. We went outside and met our guide for the four days around Cusco, Diego. He got us in a mini bus, with our driver, Mr. Juan. We drove for about 40 minutes, and dropped people off at three different hotels. Iris and I are staying at the Hotel Ruinas, really close to the main square of Cusco!
We filled out a form at the hotel and had some coca tea, to help with the altitude change. Diego also gave was some oils on our hands, which we breath led in three times, then rubbed the rest on our face and hair, to help with that, too. Our room is on the fourth floor, which is a lot of stairs to walk up at this altitude! We get out of breath every time we do it. Our room is pretty nice and had a beautiful view of Cusco! We had a few hours to relax and get a little acclimated to the elevation change. Iris and I lounged around for about an hour and a half, where I snoozed a bit. It was good we were just relaxing, because it was actually pouring down rain!
Around two, Iris and I got on our rain jackets and hit the town! We checked out some gift shops and had an empanada for a snack. We walked around the main square of Cusco, which is surrounded by churches and important buildings, then headed back to the hotel. We were taking a walking tour of the city with Diego at 3! We met up with some of our group, then we were on our way!
Diego took us around the square and told us about when the Spanish invaded Peru. We saw a ton of churches, and found out that Cusco is shaped like a puma. He took us to a market that had everything being sold by vendors: clothes, bags, fruits, vegetables, meat, cheese, medicine, and more! We walked through the “discarded” area of the meats and saw heads and intestines, which kinda grossed me out. We tried a Peruvian drink, quinoa milk. It was pretty tasty, but I didn’t have too much, hahah.
That was pretty much the end of the tour. He dropped us off at the hotel, and then Iris and I set out to walk a bit more, and find some dinner. We ended up eating at Papacho’s, which was kind of an American place. Iris had a chicken burger and fries, and I had some sweet potato fries (there are 3,000+ types of potatoes native to Peru!) and a pork and pineapple taco. They were playing American music, which was pretty fun, and our server was really nice, so it was a good meal.
On the way back to our hotel, Iris and I bought some water and snacks. We called it a night around 7:30, hahah we feel old! But every day has been pretty exhausting in one way or another. Iris took a shower, and then I took a bath (hallelujah!) and a shower later. We went to bed around 10, but my stomach was really upset, so I didn’t fall asleep until 11:30. We were supposed to do Rainbow Mountain the following day, but our guide advised us not to. It was higher than Cusco, and was muddy and snowy a bit too. Iris and I were both bummed, but also less stressed, because we would have had to get picked up at 4:30 for that, and Iris was worried about her bad knee on the way down. So, instead, the next day, we were going to the Sacred Valley, which has a lot of Incan ruins and villages. We were looking forward to it! :]

WHERE: The Gym WHO: @juandiego-flores
To say things have been strange in Opulence would be an understatement. Alejandro now was living with Celine for the time being to be close to the boys and her during these uncertain times. While the boys were at school and Celine working, Alejandro decided to visit his oldest brother. Since getting out of prison, he had been making it a point to try and mend some fences between him and his parents and siblings. Thankfully, Juan Diego was the easiest to get along with, because he always has been that way.
“Hey, how you doin’?” He questioned as he stepped into the gym where JD worked. “Are your powers acting weird too?” Alejandro knew the answer, all the supernatural creatures were having issues, but he figured he would be polite and ask. Stepping up to the punching bag, Alejandro got into position and punched it a few times before looking at his brother. “So, you want to go do something? I got today off and the boys are at school and Celine is working.”

Farewell, Cesc
Football, as Cesc Fàbregas once said, is fucking unbelievable. (That live f-bomb is one of my favorite Cesc moments.) The thing is, everything seemed believable and totally possible when he was on the pitch. After all, he had a magic hat, the near-bullet time vision of a next-level grandmaster, and, as Antonio Conte once noted, the mind velocity to realize what most players could only dream. We were nervous when he signed--after all, he’d played across town and for a particular Spanish club with whom we’d had knock-down, drag-outs--but it was instant love. He was older and wiser, but still had the fire, the eye, and the creativity. The way he could split a defense? The way he could hit a pass from distance to find a teammate? The way he could dictate tempo to his elegantly legato will? He explained it as just technique, but it seemed like pure magic. He was also a great elder statesman for the sport, while also being surprisingly witty and very sarcastic. As a Chelsea player, he was the complete package--and who would’ve guessed that when he signed?
When my brother was deciding which player shirt to buy a few years ago, he wrote of Cesc, who was among the final three:
You know that feeling when you are playing Manchester United and you see Chicharito standing next to Sir Alex waiting to come on? That feeling of horrible dread mixed with knowing that he is going to score is something that I will never miss again. But having Cesc this year starting from the bench and seeing him standing next to Steve messing with his hair is the exact opposite of that. I don’t know even know how many times he actually changed a game as a sub, but whenever I would see him there, I would just know that he would do something that could change the game. I try to buy shirts that will make me remember something about a season, and I’ll never forget that feeling with Cesc.
Thanks, Cesc, for four fucking unbelievable years.
Some of our favorite Fàbregas moments:
Diego Costa's ground pilot
Is he imaginary?
Fernando Torres' haircut brother
Translating for Costa
The Branislav Ivanovic XI
Outrage
Nemanja Matic accidentally hit him in the face
Lee Dixon's obsession
The hero we needed
Waiting 27 years to win the Premier League
Fuck vegetables
GQ-ing the kit
Focus less on the hair
His hilariously stupid red card
Chatting with mascots
Beard war with Juan Mata
Dixon's still obsessed
Hair transplant
A classic pass
Giant tooth dentists
That Manchester City brawl
A century of assists
Rainbow lobbing Petr Cech for a goal
Good cameo
Mind velocity
Get him!
We got Cesc, they got Mesut Özil
Give him his assist!
Fucking unbelievable!
HE CARES
Waving to the crowd
The most surprisingly sarcastic player
Assists Pep Guardiola to fuck off
Giant notes
Including the steward
Defusing Alexis
Did Álvaro Morata off him?
A half-century of goals
Verbal & physical sarcasm
That's not vacation
He loves chaos
Wearily celebrating Ruben Loftus-Cheek's hat-trick
Street justice!

Far cry 6 was a fun game but why did Diego have to die 😭. But also like he died and then it just cuts to later with Dani chatting to Juan and then credits. I get why Anton would kill his son story wise, but it skipped over Diego dying and the game just ends. Like what?!
