What fish would be improved with teeth? What fish shouldn't have teeth?

Hmm, honestly I think it would be super funny if seahorses or trumpetfish had teeth (and also give seahorses a decently moveable jaw). What if they went around making perfectly circle-shaped bite marks everywhere, like shallow water cookiecutter sharks? It would be priceless!

I don’t really have a fish that I think shouldn’t have teeth! Maybe… whale sharks. I reckon they don’t have much use for their mouth teeth! Also parrotfish shouldn’t have as many teeth as they have for sure.

Amity Park absolutely adores her little ghostling, her little Gatekeeper who was of her own ectoplasm, reborn from her own blood in the center of her new heart. She absolutely adores her baby, practically a newborn, being only a year dead! 

So of course she had to gush and boast about her little phantom to the other city spirits! They all got together to gossip sometimes after all. And both Smallville and Fawcett started to gush about their own little ones back! 

Gosh they should set up a playdate at some point, her little phantom could use some friends in the mortal realm. Well some more friends, three is obviously not enough. Oh, Gotham and Bludhaven have come over as well! It’s a playdate then! 

Now if only each of their world’s timelines were synced up, but at least everyone is around the same age!

I have been giving some thought to the designs of the characters (mostly John and Yellow because I suck at drawing humans) for a bit and, while I am not fully convinced, I kinda like this one.

Alright, I am allowing myself one (1) hater ass opinion that exists purely because I am a hater and nobody will change my mind about this until I leave my hater zone: Mu Qing is the catalyst for Xie Lian’s downward spiral in Book 4, and had he not abandoned and then subsequently betrayed Xie Lian, White No-Face would’ve had a hell of a tougher time getting a foothold in Xie Lian’s head post-fall.

Mu Qing’s abrupt departure and admittance that it is because of their current circumstances shook Xie Lian’s confidence in Feng Xin’s loyalty to their friendship. This causes him to seek reassurance that Feng Xin cannot give because Feng Xin doesn’t know the cause. Mu Qing then coming back and revealing to Feng Xin that Xie Lian attempted robbery shook Feng Xin’s faith in Xie Lian’s morality, which eventually led to his own departure. Before Feng Xin leaves, he throws doubt about Xie Lian’s mental state to Xie Lian’s parents. All of these actions isolated Xie Lian from his entire support group, leaving him alone and vulnerable to manipulation. White No-Face had to do next to nothing to get Xie Lian to this point.

And for all the “Xie Lian had to go through this to learn a lesson!” people: the only “lesson” Xie Lian got out of this whole arc was that the only person he could trust to support him (not his family or friends but a nameless ghost) is now obliterated and he can only rely on himself to be his own support because everyone else is too fickle to stand by him through his ups and downs. And he carries this with him until (re)meeting Hua Cheng 800 years later.

In short, Xie Lian is a saint cause I’m on Fuck Mu Qing time.

Alright as it is Trans Day of Visibility (Hi still not cis, still here etc.) and the final day of the extended Trans Rights Readathon I thought I would post about a few more of my favorite books by trans authors because hopefully everyone will be reading books by trans authors and about trans characters/topics all year round. Because to me this day is about supporting others in the community as much as anything else. The world is pretty on fire right now so if you can support a trans creator, artist, organization or friend today (and beyond) then do it!

So here are a bunch of shorter reads: books, graphic novels, novellas etc. I didn't really notice how many novellas I had been reading recently till making this list, but there is something about a wel- written short book that just really works for me. Also a lot of these just have really creative or lovely concepts and I am a sucker for those. Plus the characters in these are soooo good! Also a lot of these have lovely audiobooks or e-books, hence me not having a physical copy (yet). Many of these have trans characters as well, but not all of them. Though most have some form of queer rep because I don't read much that doesn't. I included muliple by some of the authors, including sequels because... I just really like them and couldn't pick just one. Most of these authors have other books that are also wonderful. And these are just a handful of examples, there are so many fabuluous books by and about people who are trans.

I've got one more paper to finish for tonight, had to ask to hand it in late. It shouldn't be that hard, I've got all the shit I want to say I just need to word it properly on paper.

But ffs I forgot how much my brain goes into creative mode when I'm stressed with school stuff--this is how I wrote so much fic 2012-2014. All I wanna do is write stuff for dnd characters, work on an RP with a friend, and write fic, and I've got all these creative starts in my head.

Instead, I have to focus on how trad information organization systems have built in barriers that limit the discoverability of independent media/works.

had been waiting for a dentist appointment all year long and finally got one! I always dread it so much but the dentist I got was super gentle and nice, which really eased the anxiety. turns out i don't have any worrysome cavities going on either (victory fanfare), just a few old fillings are in need of a refill, and they're next to eachother so it might just take one slightly longer visit. I told her that I haven't ever been able to form a good habit or routine with brushing my teeth, but I do floss most days. "well considering that, your mouth is in quite good condition" I try my best :'D I'd need a mean assistant who tells me daily how much my breath stinks or something so i'd start remembering to go brush out of shame lol
