There is so much time still, so much time to rally, so much time to campaign, so much time to register to vote, so much time to change things. I honestly don’t understand why so many of you all have a problem with large / largish age gaps in romantic relationships. This is not an attack in case anybody reads this; convince me maybe?

Yeah so they are at two different stages in life; so? Why is that bad? One has just graduated from college and the other has been teaching for years. They grew up listening to different stuff and have different books on their shelves. One is more internet savvy, the other less.

They are unlikely to be able to grow old together, is that disqualifying? They are less likely to have kids, I guess than if they were the same age or almost, but I suspect they already know that and kids may not be a priority to them? If the age gap translates into an imbalance of *power* and one uses it against the other, isn’t there something wrong with these two people regardless of their ages?
