So, I decided to do an appreciation post for each member of the P4. Naturally, I started with my favorite, Gregory Violet. Ever since I got into the Public School Arc, I think Violet was my favorite of the P4. Part of it was because purple is one of my favorite colors and I love wolves. But what sealed it was that Violet not only is a bit dark, something I can respect and relate to, but he also is a talented artist, and he's unapologetically eccentric. The mark of a true artsy type. One of my favorite moments in the Manga (SPOILER FOR THOSE WHO DIDN'T READ THE MANGA YET) is when he makes Greenhill keep a ridiculous pose, so he can supposedly draw him. Yet, of the three sketches he does do, Greenhill is not even in a single one of them! One of them is literally just a maze leading to a cup of tea and a teapot. And when Greenhill finally breaks the pose, Violet bemoans the ruin of his 'masterpiece' and vents his frustrations by chucking a loaf of French bread (which he was using as an eraser for said sketches, no less) at Greenhill's head.

(I'm also a fan of Helluva Boss, so as Loopty Goopty would say, Violet is eccentric and must therefore do eccentric shit!)

Honestly all of these traits, right down to him screwing with Greenhill, quickly made Gregory my favorite Prefect and I can't wait to see more of him in the anime!

Little kids learning how to do sports rivalries are really cute. When I worked at Cracker Barrel it was in kind of a two-team area, so there was paraphernalia from both teams for sale in the gift shop, and one day this little kid who was like six came in, looked at the display I was setting up, and said to me very seriously, "You know the [color] and [color] ones are better, right?"
