OOOHOHO going to go with 10 bc i think the answer would be a 10 for just abt anyone if you like it odds are it will suck you in and never let go (ihave unfortunately been trapped here for 5 years) and if you don’t like it you will probably Really not like it. it’s definitely a series you need to suspend your disbelief for and is absolutely by NO means “unproblematic” although i don’t think the latter will really be an issue for you given what i know of like. every tv show you post abt but anyway. but the passion and hope and desperation and second chances and sense of selfhood absolutely bleed into the pages and it is utterly intoxicating. also obligatory “please please please check the trigger warnings if that could be a problem for you” bc it has a great many. also also followup question on a scale of one to ten how bad would it be for me personally to watch iwtv for the first time this summer

random but is anyone else into yosurise but in a doomed kind of way. like kind of one sided. like a yosuke is into rise in a puppydog kind of way and rise keeps trying to find a relationship but can’t and finally decides to give yosuke a try because at least he’s a friend and she knows he won’t try to take advantage of her being an idol etc. And yosuke is ECSTATIC and wants to give her the world but in an unsustainable kind of way, a desperate “i don’t deserve her but she’s giving me a chance and i need to do anything i can to keep her happy” kind of way. And rise is so flattered and like yosuke is nice but she can’t match that dedication, no one can or should, but it’s all so one sided and she feels so guilty about that but she doesn’t want to break his heart or be “mean”. all while yosuke is becoming almost self destructive by trying to give her “what she deserves” but it’s an unhealthy level of dedication and it’s honestly hurting both of them

Have not stopped thinking about the parallels between Flower and the tarot card The Fool since I started watching Ghosts so I finally drew it (based on the classic Pamela Colman Smith deck):

The card so often gets interpreted to mean naive or foolish, which is also true of Flower’s character…I think even the other ghosts tend to write her off as just this naive spacey hippie who can’t hold on to a thought. At its core though, the card is about a sense of wonder and joyful openness to the world, a willingness to experience things and open oneself up to the possible, something I think is wonderfully embodied by Flower, especially as we’ve gotten to see more of her backstory and character arc this season.

i live in the woods, i see bears all the time! when i was a kid, my gym teacher chased a bear off the soccer field and into the woods. my whole class assumed she was going to die and we mourned her (it was only her first day working at our school lol) she was in fact fine but i still dont know WHY she thought that was a good plan

do want to explore the shri’iia/thalia dynamic sometimes bc they’re The Soulmates but soulmates as in in every universe they’re bound to meet each other at least once but it doesn’t mean they’ll end up together instantly (sometimes they don’t end up together at all) but I don’t have a firm grasp on thalia’s personality yet but im thinking she has eldest daughter syndrome, and she’s the only child of her father’s first wife and the heir to their noble family, but then she gets afflicted with the wild magic so now she has to go out and find the cure for that because it’s a dangerous thing to have and she can’t risk being surrounded by innocents bc her magic might set off randomly and harm them. so, an absurd sense of responsibility and the need to have everything be properly done the ‘right way’ makes for a very strict and uptight person I think…
