I had already vaguely known about Uendo having DID due to me not necessarily avoiding spoilers when reading fanfic, but...

I have so many thoughts on this as someone who HAS the disorder they're representing here.

Like, one, I definitely appreciated the way they revealed it -- during a Mood Matrix session. Having multiple sets of feelings and having them switch on and off like that is def a thing. I've/we've experienced that before.

But also -- before that, when Uendo was switching between his "characters" and everyone thought he was just putting on a performance? Yeah, see. They did that really well considering that like -- yes, the way alters hold the body/the face can be really different. They certainly felt like different people, which was really cool to see. I liked the different poses they had because as I played I was like, "Huh... is he the character with DID...? He is, right?"

The thing is, I'm like 80% certain that Uendo is the murderer, and THAT annoys me -- but I'm not done playing through the case, yet. I just started the second half of the trial, so.... I'll comment as I go.

But if I'm right and Uendo IS the murderer, I'm gonna have to roll my eyes because soooo many pieces of media use my disorder to show HEY SOMEONE WITH THIS COULD BE A KILLER AND NOT KNOWWWWW and I hate that. Because like.... no.

OH THANK GOD. Like 3 seconds into the send half of the trial and it's NOT Uendo. Yay. Yayyyyy. I'm actually really glad they did that subversion of the person-with-DID-is-the-killer trope. Thank fucking GOD.

I am honestly loving this case and I actually really like the way they've presented Uendo -- it's simplified a bit for the sake of the audience, but at the same time, switching DO be like that. And you can certainly be co-conscious and share memory.

Like.... that's legitimately how our System works -- there's usually 2-3 of us up front at any given time, with someone generally more forward, while the other(s) listens / watches. Sometimes others push to the front. And there are 4 of us who more or less have access to the continual life happenings even if we don't always recollect specific details (or what we were feeling) later.

Also Owen being a LITTLE makes so much damn sense? Fuck, idk man, I love it. I kinda adore them.

I really really really got weary when Uendo's diagnosis was revealed because, y'know, the whole oh God pls tell me you're not the murderer even if it was kinda looking like you were.

That fucking balloon girl did it, didn't she? Jesus fucking Christ. I love that, but I also hate that. Also it's so unfair they made this chick so goddamned pretty.

Also man can I also say just how like.... they legitimately refer to Owen as a child, and Kisegawa with Ms., and -- that's actually a nice little piece of the writing here. Like... is it absolutely perfect? No. It's not. But let me tell you -- as someone with this disorder? Writing it and showing it for an audience is hard.

That whole, "everyone is unique" thing applies here -- every System is different. They all develop ways of functioning in order to blend in and protect themselves. Uendo may not have the denial bit that comes with this disorder (do you know how many times I find myself asking if I'm sure I'm not faking this thing? do you??? because like, it's a "rare" disorder, right? and was my trauma REALLY bad enough for me to have alters???? etc) -- but considering the confident way he, Patches, and Kisegawa speak about their experience with the disorder, I would imagine they've been in therapy for it for a while, now.

But also -- the three of them not being aware of Owen? Or denying his existence, at least? Well, they were either protecting him because he's so young, or they legitimately did not know since apparently he may only come forward when the body is drunk.

Also that was a really fun case even if it was like, not entirely relevant to the overall story happening here in SOJ. I definitely enjoyed it.

one of the things that’s so encouraging is this off-season we haven’t received ANY reason to be worried that byler isn’t happening and every reason to believe it is. The only arguably pro-Mlvn content we got is the rooftop scene/3 waterfalls gate, but that scene can mean many different things and pales in comparison to the numerous byler images we’ve scene and the evidence that finn is filming heavily with noah and not with millie. there were also rumored “leaks” like the field makeout session, but pics or it didn’t happen lol.

The showrunners and shawn and the actors have simply not posted any pro-Mlvn content which is a crazy thing for what is allegedly the “main ship of the show.” We’ve gotten lumax and jopper but no mlvn! Which is honestly surprising to me cause I expected them to be playing up this triangle and giving us reason to “doubt,” but I see none!

Now is there time for things to change? sure! we’re still a ways away from season 5. perhaps there will be some mlvn crumbs in the teaser or the trailer. but like… as of right now, the writing is on the wall and I’m sure even the redditors and the hardcore twitter mlvns have to be feeling it

All they can do is hold onto the hope that there’s a lot of top-secret mlvn content being filmed, or mike and el are separated YET AGAIN but will find their way back to each other in the finale, which. okay. heteronormativity aside (and byler obviously being endgame aside), surely the duffers are more creative writers than that lol

It would be one thing if this was a situation where in between filming, all we heard was crickets from production and what inevitably leaked from paparazzi was all we got - but official sources do share things here and there and... yeah. Yeah. It's very suspicious that there hasn't been much that seems to indicate that Mike and El should even be thought of as a pair.

We got one picture with the two of them together, walking in a field, which I'm pretty sure was them walking to the radio station to film the rooftop scene. I side with the people who think production planted or paid paps to leak that video themselves, or at least let it happened, didn't buy back the footage as often happens with paparazzi content. Why was it so clear? Why did they allow it out there? And I think it's because there's nothing to be interpreted from the video as romantic. It looks like a break-up or reconciliation as two people working on repairing a friendship. Body language. Facial expressions. I don't believe most lip readers, but some things seems spot on. Get those who are savvy to online fandom and media hype to get used to the idea of those two parting ways. Yes - we see what we want to see. Mlvns see that clip as cementing them as a couple. Byler fans will insist it's a break-up. Yes, I'm a Byler fan... but come on? If we're all so wrong and it's a romantic scene, well. I'll feel trapped in a twilight zone nightmare world where nothing makes sense because it does not look romantic at all. They're such a boring bland couple if so. That wasn't romantic energy or chemistry.

We've seen soooo many photos or Will and Mike or WillandMike and not much of El at all, let alone with her love interest. What would be the harm in showing some Mlvn stuff if they were continuing onward? They're splitting. Mike is being shown with the real love interest.

I think. After season 4. Noah was excited about the possibility of Byler and was very in tune with the fandom. He encouraged it. I think he maybe had an inkling of where it was going, but it wasn't cemented as fact. He interacted with a lot, right? Still did sporadically even recently. But I don't think he of all people would be so cruel as to placate fans and encourage/indulge stuff if it wasn't gonna happen, because he had to have known once filming was underway where things were going. It really would be so cruel, wouldn't it? They could have snipped it already. And oh, we'd hope they're better storytellers than that, right? Mike and Will are spending most of the season together. Who knows were El is? But in the last season? It should be about Mike and El FINALLY past all the relationship "what is going on with them" at this point to end up fighting this thing together - and nothing indicates that's what's going on. If they, yet again, have them separated and reunite right at the end - boooooring and terrrrrible. I don't think that's what's going on. I trust them. Maybe too much. But it's where I've landed and my feet have sunk into the cement of it all.

Hi, it’s me again, I had a couple of ideas, a couple are about possible bard reader, another is a musing for any reader, and the last is a general question.

1. Bards aren’t solely musicians, (from my dnd experience,) they also recite poems, ballads, and stories. So what if Reader tries to keep some of the more prone to boredom pilgrims by talking about various other myths and stories she might know? For example, she might’ve had an ancient Egypt or Greek mythology phase and still remembers a lot of those stories and when things are getting dull, she just goes like “Hey, wanna hear a funny story?” And then talk about Midas getting cursed with donkey ears. It manages to occupy the silence with something more interesting.

2. I’ve seen the Ruan being suggested as Reader’s instrument, but I wonder if anyone has considered the Xun. A xun is basically a small ceramic or wood instrument in the same family as the ocarina, but played slightly differently. They’re quite portable, and they could also make for a convenient “which one of these identical monkeys is Six Eared Macaque,” test. Nothing against the Ruan, just wanted to share. (Bonus: if the Reader likes the Zelda games, she could play some of those songs and most of them are either soothing or fun to dance to.)

2.5. Personally, I am an edgy girl, so if I chose to sing, it’d be like the early 2000s nu-metal songs from groups like Evanescence, Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, and all of that other stuff, so that’d be embarrassing.

3. How are she and Tripitaka going to stay warm in the winter? There were points in the book where it was stated to be snowing or at least very cold, and idk if Guanyin would give them coats or if they’d have to get one of the other pilgrims to beg for a couple of used old coats. If Guanyin did give them some, it’d be neat to see like a feather cloak or something along those lines as feathers (down) are very good at insulating and keeping one warm.

4. Given all of the times when Tripitaka either punishes Monkey too severely and/or kicks him out, I can imagine the Six Eared Macaque arc being the one where reader genuinely loses her patience and slaps the monk across the face. She doesn’t really even say anything, just turns to leave and if they say anything about how they need her to guide them, “well, you can figure it out for yourself, because I’m done putting up with your ‘holier than thou’ bullshit.” Then goes to find Wukong. Depends on if you want the one she finds to be the real one, trying not to cry, or if she runs into his doppelgänger. (Suppose we’ll have to wait and see.)

im curious as to whether references to things that are very modern to us (i.e. occam's razor, the glass ceiling, etc.) are just a function of storytelling to help us understand themes and symbolisms (as in, if characters only referenced things recent to their history we would never understand what was going on, because i presume this story is taking place billions upon trillions of years in the future). realistically, these humans should be more alien to us than familiar, even if they still look like us. OR i wonder if there was something that occurred in the previous universe relatively soon after our current history (let's say ~10k years from now). because even if our history is preserved, it should be overwritten by a sheer volume of information that would only make it relevant to historians who specifically study the period prior to us becoming a physics-wielding species. random med students wouldn't be making these references, even if they're prodigies.

Ok so There’s been at least one Great War/revolution. Maybe there was some catastrophic universe-spanning apocalypse. Maybe somewhere the old universe suddenly entered a state of false vacuum decay and humanity was far enough away from the point of origin that it had time to prepare and preserve or escape to a different plane. Even though this is billions of years in the future their technology might be rudimentary. Was all of history between then and now erased in between?

the reason i'm saying all this is that (i'm going to try to make my point again but briefer this time). sometimes feels like this is taking place 10000 years in the future instead of billions or trillions. what i'm wondering is if this is just a function of storytelling (references we understand are #crucial to delivering #themes and also way more fun to read). OR if we're dealing with a universe different than our own (not meant to model our timeline in the first place), OR if the apocalypse happened relatively "soon" after our current "history" today. does that make sense?

he straight up can't, because he needs a constant distraction from his thoughts, otherwise he'll start spiralling. he literally does everything he can not to think, so he can't just sit there. he'll explode.

surprisingly easy, despite being sick in the head he's actually pretty easy-going with most people, and he has a good sense of humor. if he doesn't laugh at a stupid joke then you KNOW something's wrong.

he very rarely goes to bed sober. again, because of the "needs a constant distraction" thing. so more often than not, even if he's sober beforehand, he'll take a few shots to get tipsy before he's comfortable enough to sleep.

it really depends. august has this huge mistrust of authority figures, so he won't trust anyone who's even moderately related to therapy or counseling or teachers or cops or anything. HOWEVER, if he likes someone he's got a bad habit of completely ignoring all their flaws and trusting everything they say (bpd moment), and it'll take almost no time. and he's aware of this flaw, and tries really hard to be mistrusting so he doesn't get hurt again, but. well. it doesn't really work.

again, depends who you are. on the off chance he becomes close with an authority figure, even the slightest fuck-up can cause him to immediately shift back into distrust. however, someone he likes can lie to him over and over, and august will fall back into trusting them if they just apologize and promise they won't do it again. kind of pathetically easy to gaslight his ass.

anything home-y triggers nostalgia for his family--home-cooked food, suburban white family decor, stuff like that. the feeling's kind of bittersweet, because he did have a fairly happy childhood (even including the time he was getting groomed, unfortunately) but it also hurts because he knows he'll never have that again. he also gets nostalgia for church-related stuff like sunday mass, but that's less pleasant because it just makes him think about harper (for not-chad, the priest who groomed him as a teen) and how he was abandoned by him.

august was a pretty normal good kid, but he was. a little bit gay. so he'd get reprimanded for stuff like staring at male models at the mall or doing "girly" stuff and shit like that as a kid (which sucks, because he was never taught to cook or clean because of that). tbh otherwise he was a really good kid--his grades were average, but he made up for it by being really faithful, and he was usually pretty quiet and polite.

when harper left him, august learned really quickly that he could NOT tell therapists and shit that being groomed was the best thing to ever happen to him. because they'd always go "oh my god, that's terrible! i'm so sorry that dirty man did that to you!" but. august was genuinely at his happiest while being groomed (obviously it wasn't healthy, but he was really happy). so he learned really quickly not to talk about it at all, or lie and say that it was soooo awful. it doesn't haunt him per se, but he built a lot of resent towards authority figures for that reason, because nobody would ever listen to him and always tried to make harper out to be a bad guy, which august does not agree with. and it fucking hurts to pretend he doesn't love harper.

he honestly can't really differentiate them. his family loved him, but he always felt like it was conditional, so he'd consider familial love to be fake. and he can't tell the difference between romantic or platonic love--the closest thing he could tell is that romantic love is when you want to fuck a person you love, and platonic is when you don't want to fuck them.

when he's jealous, august becomes EXTREMELY insecure and clingy. he has huge abandonment issues that are already worsened by his bpd, so he'll dig in his heels and do absolutely anything not to be abandoned. which. does include hurting people he loves and acting in a super unhealthy way.

he gets sooo bitchy, or will mope and whine around the person he's envious of until he gets what he wants. like a fucking 8 year old.

he wants to get married one day, but has trouble imagining someone sticking with him long enough to get to that point. as a kid, he really really wanted to marry harper, and a part of him still hopes he can. he's kind of bitter on the subject of marriage because it's basically inaccessible to him.

probably anim, because it's their fault that he learned all these terrible things about harper. he would have been more than happy to live completely ignorant forever, but now he can't do that.

he seeks out romance constantly, because he's unable to not be in a relationship. he needs to feel wanted and useful, and if that means he needs to pursue people who treat him terribly, he will. it's not really "romance" in a healthy sense, it's more like looking for attention and sex and affection under the guise of a romanic relationship.

he's neutral on them. he doesn't want them himself, and thinks they're kind of annoying, but they also make him nostalgic for his own childhood. because he wishes he was a kid again so bad, because he was so much happier.

e. i think i'd like sharing hot gossip with august but i could NOT be close with him. way too much drama involved, and he's basically just a more intense version of my mental illness so i think it would suck. plus i think he'd find me boring.

f. he makes me so fucking sad. because i think he's so tragic but also he's kind of the oc that's closest to me in terms of. many things. so his shit hits a little close to home. i love him.

g. he refuses to fucking get therapy. get normal loser boy.

First impressions huh, well when I started the game I kinda got jumpscared. Because I didn't expect voices and the spring troupe to stare intensely at me being like; OHHHH DIRECTOR PLZ BLOOM US

I was like: WHAT THE FUCK ARE THOSE DUDES AAAAAAA

However let me list down by troupes:

Spring troupe: From Episode 1 I thought they were nice I kinda had beef with Masumi being so rude to everyone (I did end up appreciate his development as the story goes by tho) and I was a bit skeptical about Itaru staying but my god the story ended up soooo great. When Episode 5 happened I really disliked chikage like, I didn't get why people would like such a man and why would Izumi forgive him for the awful thing he did. But as time went by and as I ended up knowing more lore I also started to think he had some good deep inside. But the most important development in my opinion is Sakuya, I love how we get presented with a sunshine boy so full of dreams and hopes and determination to be an actor despite how he might not be the best at it. The scene where he says that Romeo is his role gave me chills... and I'm so glad that as time goes by, he seems to be more "selfish" like he knows what he wants and he isn't worried about expressing it! I'm super proud of him I hope to see even more development in act 4 :)

Summer Troupe: Episode 2 I remember that at first look I thought that Izumi's power of friendship would have great struggles working through those dudes, and Lord it was intense (ofc not as much as Aki). I disliked Tenma and was so happy to see Yuki roast him (actually I really liked Yuki's personality and I was happy to find out he was part of a troupe and he had an interesting character arc, since that when I first saw him I thought he would be more stereotypically a brat, but I'm glad I was wrong). When I saw Misumi I realized why the game has so many triangles around, and I love that tbh. However I also thought it was nice to have such different people together in a troupe, it felt like something connected them but I had yet to understand what. And after seeing all their struggles which are so different yet all bounded by a fear of being isolated I ended up loving this troupe very much as the way they bonded and became friends felt so real and close to home. They easily became my favourite troupe and with episode 6 and the addition of Kumon it just became even more obvious. About Kumon, I remember thinking he was a funny guy and I laughed at his distaste for Comedy like: oh boy I’m so sorry for you. But also it was nice to see a guy who has such a great relationship with his brother it kinda reminds me my own with my brother :). Anyway I’m glad that as usual Natsugumi shows that no matter what they will help one another with everything even their new rookie with anxious fevers. Natsugumi is the epitome of special bonds created through friendship and I couldn’t ask for anything better

Autumn Troupe: My reaction was, IZUMI MY GOD WHAT THE HECK HOW ARE YOU GONNA DEAL WITH THEM, particularly cuz of Banri I thought he was too high and mighty and didn’t like that (then I saw his reaction to portraits + his own and went: wtf man I like you?) I didn’t get why Taichi was in Autumn I thought he was too cheery for it but time teaches, never judge a book by the cover. ALSO NO WAY YUKI MENTION? WOOOOOO CAN’T BELIEVE CHILDHOOD FRIENDS ARE REAL- The portraits were such a clever touch for a troupe that seems to be so scary and serious, showing the deeper side of what they want and wish made me see them in a new light and appreciate them more (I kinda had an epiphany Banri style tbh). Episode 7 was quite funny to me cuz I went like: there is no way everyone runs away at some point (they do) I mean we meet Azami in the middle of episode 6 already but the way his own episode treats the whole situation he’s going through is so… man I need to reread all the main acts they make me insane

FUYUGUMI OR BETTER FUYUPOLY- so I saw those old men and went: oh wow boomers that’s crazy (moon they are mostly in their 20-30s) I didn’t have much thoughts on it, I liked Azuma and knew Hisoka by Gacha cards. OH BOY THEY HOLD SO MUCH STUFF AND MANKAI MYSTERIES IN THEM (and gay undertones, I see you Tasutsumu), there is so much show not tell with them in every episode in which they are involved and I find it beautiful. Also fun fact when I first saw Guy I genuinely believed they brought a cyborg in Mankai, I MEAN WE CAN HAVE A TORMENT DOLL WHY CAN’T THEY HAVE A CYBORG!? I like him tho, silly fish man that holds a lot of issues but was able to get better with his company and now owns a bar. I would also talk about Hisoka but I think this would get even longer than it already is. So yeah love every troupe

Happy birthday to the love of my life, Sakuya Sakuma!! Since he was the first actor in the troupe and one of the first characters we meet, let’s talk first impressions! What were your first impressions of the cast? Or just your oshi? Are they different from now, or more or less the same?

I once again offer you an ideia, a Frankenstein monster Yuu, like the book they're beautiful but have scary shiny eyes and very obviously not human, they're also quick to learn and adapt (also have daddy issues because Victor Frankenstein is a dick)

I don’t really know about Frankenstein except that Victor created him and was like ‘ew no, I don’t like you anymore’ but joke’s on you, Frankie from Monster High Yuu was already on my list of ‘will work on soon’ so I hope this is a good enough substitution, hehe. I just really liked Monster High’s worldbuilding, the characters and their designs, as well as their backstories. The one before the reboot. It was one of my favorite childhood shows. I do hope it comes back again someday, though. === I'm just here to mix-and-match different kinds of Yuus with different kinds of personalities to see what monstrosity I can make. That being said,,, Frankie Stein from Monster High but it's Yuu brainrot!

So, Frankie!Yuu looks human enough aside from their mint-colored skin, their heterochromia eyes, the stitches all over their limbs, and the two small bolts on their neck.

Normally, people would think they were just a dedicated cosplayer. Unfortunately for them, they were very wrong.

Although it wasn’t very apparent in the entrance ceremony seeing that they were wearing a robe and had the robe’s hood up that obstructed their features.

Frankie!Yuu wasn’t really surprised when the mirror dubbed their shape of soul as unknown or the fact that they were magicless.

They were just most recently created, after all.

So, the rest of the ceremony went as smoothly as one could when there was a flaming cat almost burning it down.

After the cat was subdued and thrown out, and the freshmen led out, it was time for Yuu to be led home.

Only to find out that their home didn’t exist…

When Crowley asked where Frankie!Yuu came from, they took it as their cue and they pushed their hood off of their head, giving the crow a sheepish smile.

“Uhm… Your school seems lovely and all but I don’t think I’m supposed to be here…? I’m supposed to be enrolled in another school, you see.”

So, Crowley found out that Yuu was supposed to be enrolled in a school open for all species of monsters, where he then realizes that Yuu was, in fact, not human.

Yuu said that when they saw the carriage being pulled by black horses stopping in front of them, they assumed that it was a new way of transportation sent by the school they were going to.

Looking at where they are now, it was obviously not.

Of course, Crowley being soooo kind couldn’t just kick Yuu out without any way to fend for themselves and decided to let them stay in Ramshackle.

On their way to Ramshackle, Crowley noticed that Yuu oddly wasn’t scared at being in an unknown environment but more of excited at the prospect of being in another world.

“Oh this is so exciting! I’ve never been to another world before! i can't wait to tell this to my family and friends back home! This is the best thing to ever happen in my 116 days of life!”

Cue Crowley freezing and slowly turning towards Yuu, “Pardon? 116 days?”

Realizing what they said, Yuu laughs and explains, “I’m a simulacrum! My father and mother artificially created me after they achieved the right circumstances to have me! It took them a century!”

Which probably explained the shape of their soul being unknown since, you know, they were newly-ish created.

Crowley might or might not have a brief existential crisis here because on one hand, Yuu was almost just around 4 months in age, and on the other hand they seemed like they were already old and independent enough to live by themselves.

But of course, Crowley does what Crowley does best: avoid responsibilities like he’s playing ‘The Floor is Lava’ with his responsibilities being the floor and him flying sky-high.

Which he probably shouldn’t have done and now Frankie!Yuu’s left alone with Ramshackle and who knows what they’ll do with it.

Just kidding!

They’ll just turn it into a place where they can satisfy their curious mind. Basically they turned it into their own personal laboratory.

Hm? Where did they get the room full of dismembered body parts from, you ask? Hush now, don’t ask too many questions. No one needs to worry about those small things.

Technically, Frankie!Yuu does have all the intelligence and physical capabilities of their born age, although they lack life experiences so they tend to be naïve.

But their optimistic, kind-hearted, and outgoing nature makes up for this.

Of course when Grim goes to take refuge in Ramshackle, Yuu didn’t have the heart to turn them away.

Was Frankie!Yuu surprised when the ghosts tried to scare them? No, they weren’t since they were already used to their spectral friends back at their world but Grim sure was.

They were quick to reassure Grim, who looked ready to burn the ghosts to crisp.

The first instance where others witnessed Frankie!Yuu missing a limb was in the Dwarfs’ Mine with Ace, Deuce, and Grim.

The four had just managed to defeat the monster in the mines but when it fell it hit the entrance a bit too hard, making the entrance collapse on itself.

Frankie!Yuu tried to communicate with it but it was unfortunately not as sentient as they would like it so they had no choice but to defeat it instead.

“Aaaaaaah! NO! What do we do now? We can’t get the stone!”

“There’s a small hole right here but I doubt we’d fit…”

“Grim, do you think you can fit inside the hole?”

“Hah? You think I’d go in there? What if it collapsed on me?! What if the monster got up?!”

Don’t worry everyone! I’ll handle it!”

[The three turn to look at Yuu with confusion present on their face before their gaze zeroed in on Yuu’s handless arm. Cue panic.]

“AAAH! YUU! YOUR-- YOUR HAND!”

“THE MONSTER CUT YOUR HAND OFF?!”

“HUMAAAN! IT’S GOOONE!”

Yeah, Grim didn’t realize that Yuu wasn’t as human as they looked when they first met. Mostly because when they saw Yuu acting weird, they just brushed it off as a human thing.

“Wha-? I’m fine…? Why are you all acting weird? Ah, but speaking of, there’s my hand! With a magic crystal!”

Everyone turned to look at the entrance where they saw Yuu’s hand carrying a magic crystal popping out of the small hole. They then proceeded to stare as Yuu picked up their own hand and popped it back on their arm, flexing their fingers to feel for it.

Literature on Frankenstein probably exists in Twisted Wonderland.

As they were heading back to the campus, the three probably fire question after question at Yuu.

“Are you, like, Frankenstein or something?”

“Don’t be silly, Ace!”

“Hey! It’s a perfectly valid question!”

So, yeah, the fight with the overblots may be a bit less hard of a battle.

Mostly because when Frankie!Yuu gets too emotive, they tend to shock the people around them, in a literal sense. As well as technology.

Now I’m wondering how the fight between Idia and Frankie!Yuu would turn out.

Yuu sometimes lightly shocks Grim but only when he acts out of line, not in a way that it’d seriously hurt him, though.

Speaking of overblot, Frankie!Yuu probably doesn’t find it scary. Worrying? Yes, because their friends were getting hurt. Scary? Not really.

They literally live in a world where being a monster and scary was considered normal.

Why do you think they treat and respect Grim as a normal, sentient being rather than a pet?

Grim had stars in his eyes when he heard that Yuu was going to a school were monsters were allowed, it was the norm even, back in their world.

He probably wanted to go there too because, uh, excuse me? A school for monsters? Sign him up, please!

Frankie!Yuu wondering why Lilia reminds them of someone and only realizes it when they see him hanging upside down from the ceiling.

“Ah, so that’s who you remind me of!”

Imagine visiting Ramshackle one day, wanting to hang out with Yuu and when the door opens, you see an obviously non-human humanoid thing greeting you instead of Yuu. A rag doll humanoid with button eyes, patchwork skin, and a stitched-on smile.

“Ace! Deuce! Is that you- Hm? That’s odd. I swear I heard them just moments ago.“

“See? I told you! That rag doll’s scary!”

Grim still has the video of Frankie!Yuu laughing uncontrollably with lightning flashing from the huge window behind them as they screamed, “It’s alive!”, while the humanoid figure on the table in front of them covered in white cloth slowly sat up.

Wait, imagine Ruggie approaching Yuu and asking them if they can make him a simulacrum who can help him with work.

Wait… Yuu and Ortho meeting!

Though, Idia would probably a wee bit protective since Yuu often discharged sparks whenever they become too excited.

Meeting another person who was artificially created in another world would definitely make them very happy and with Frankie!Yuu’s interest in scientific things (being the child of their parents, after all), they’d probably have a lot of questions for both Idia and Ortho.

First of all, the metal caste gets their free will from recieving a spark at puberty, or from being struck by lightning and being "chosen", but could a mage give a spark to an unsparked metal caste by zapping them with lightning? could you be zapped multiple times? what happens if an already sparked metal caste is struck by lightning?

Do certain subgroups of humans that were elementally influenced or evolved show specific proclivities towards respective elements? (like are there a lot of stone mage metal-castes)

What are the crystal caste and where did they come from/were first mentioned either in a post or in the story? Rattle off as many varieties and their general deal as you want

Would the inhabitants of aurora ever have to retool or add new holidays if in the future any significant enough conceptual gods arise?

Is the white dragon real in the sense of as VD's opposite or is she just not real/is just a created god

If so, what's the actual source of the paladin's magic and how does it fit in with the elements?

Can gods channel the elements and be mages?

If so, why didn't VD posses the twins or have a god created for him to channel magic through?

The lightning that sparks a metal-caste cannot be influenced by another will - so a mage's lightning won't have this effect. If an already-sparked metal-caste is struck by lightning they receive a Second Spark and become a Stormbreaker.

They're allegedly ruled by the Adamant Caste located on the northern continent, a family descended from the first Adamant King who led a rebellion against the magically dominant Glassfolk that once ruled the region. They possess the unique ability to control and redirect magic other people cast, even more rare among the Crystal-Caste who are very rarely mages of any kind. Under the Adamant Caste on the equatorial continent are three empires in a tense stalemate - the militarily powerful Sapphire Empire, the naturally-protected Ruby Empire shielded by a mountain range and a vast desert, and the weaker Emerald Empire that sprawls on the eastern coast and has only maintained its power at a level comparable to the other two through uniquely cunning tactics and a habit of accepting the talents of non-Crystal-Caste into the court - even some ferin.

The Void Dragon is a living primordial being. We have no parameters for what abilities we can expect him to have, as all the other primordials we know of are dead. Evidently he can exert a degree of surveillance and physical control outside of his body. Maybe that's something all primordials could do!

If soul energy is an element like the other primordials, it doesn't behave the same way any of them do, and it seems to universally permeate everywhere anyone has looked so far.

Definitely wish fulfillment on my part. I just like it when things evenly divide other things. Is that so wrong?

Oh so many. Chief among them is the Easy Romantic Subplot Between The Male Lead And The First Girl. There was a draft (when I was like eleven) where of course that was going to be a thing, and then I realized I super didn't need to do anything I didn't want to do, and their relationship can just be whatever. Outside of that I don't tend to think of storytelling in terms of what tropes to avoid so much as I let the characters do what makes sense for them, and sometimes that means skipping over more easy stock plots or sources of conflict.

Kendal's flavor of angst is, in my opinion, significantly more relatable than "boohoo having a cosmic destiny and awesome sword is really sad and I wish my life was boring", like even though that's probably what WOULD happen I like this a lot more

love me some TVTropes, I spent like six months in highschool devouring as much of it as I could find and emerged changed - an elevated being, one could say. To this day I like going on TVTropes after I finish a series and just reading through the bite-sized analysis and highlights.

I love Erin very much. I write a lot of paragons who will always try to do the most morally right thing they can manage - so it's very refreshing to write somebody who literally thinks he's too smart for that. Erin has a moral compass - he even follows it sometimes - but he prides himself on prioritizing real things like knowledge and power. Erin will use any tools he has available to succeed - in theory. In practice he's rigidly principled and it frustrates him immensely. Erin is like a "season 1 villain turned season 2 grumpy ally" except we fully skipped season 1. Erin is also convinced he's the main character, which is very funny to me. Also sometimes it's just fun to write someone being a huge dick to people who deserve it, and since I have a lot of protagonists who either can't or won't stand up for themselves, letting Erin loose on the people hurting them is very cathartic.

Thanks! Neil Gaiman's attitude towards gods definitely influenced me, although I put my own spin on it to make it work in a way I actually fully enjoyed.

Vash's protagonist vibes are absolutely intentional. He is the hero of the wrong story - every brash, powerful, badass protagonist trait I like rolled into one. Literally the most mortifyingly known I've ever felt was when I sent the first chapter to a friend of mine and she saw the first page he talked on and immediately responded "so this dude is based on Inuyasha right?"

Kendal has the outward appearance of the most classic hero I could construct, but on the inside is very different - a lot more melancholy and very laser-focused on his task, caring achingly deeply but slowly learning to let himself be cared for in return. Many hero's journeys focus on the protagonist's personal desires and flaws distracting them from their inevitable quest, but I thought it would be interesting if Kendal had the exact opposite problem - a being driven by a singular heroic purpose learning to let himself do and feel literally anything else.

Positives to take from the season so far

I know the last couple of races were very up and down BUT all things considered this season so far has been filled with positives for Ferrari. It might not feel that way but there are soooo many positives to take.

Also, there were a lot of moments to learn from and I am sure everyone involved will learn from it.

THE ENGINE IS FUCKING INCREDIBLE You might look at me and go "what is incredible about an engine that keeps exploding" but there are so many things about it that are great. There has been an engine freeze with means that the engine can not be developed anymore in terms of performance until 2026. And the last hybrid update is allowed before September 1st. Sometimes people seem to forget that 2019 happened and that Ferrari had to effectively throw away 2 years of engine development and had to somewhat start fresh in 2020. That is 2 years less of engine development and we all remember how shite the engine was in 2020. The lovely guys and gals in Maranello developed an engine that made up a huge HP deficit. The 2020 engine was rumoured to be 80HP down from the Mercedes engine at the time to now having a 10HP advantage over Mercedes (who had the same amount of time to develop their engine). That is an insane jump in performance and yes we are currently seeing the trade of for that which is the reliability woes. But considering the fact that they are not allowed to make the engine any faster in the next 4 years but are allowed to make it more reliable pushing the development looks like the smart choice. And they know what the issue is as well so it might take time but it should be fixed. That Engine really is no joke it's insanely good.

THE CAR IS ALSO GREAT It's often overlooked that Ferrari also built a car that works pretty much everywhere! It looks to have a much broader setup window than a lot of other cars. Just today the drivers were going for two pretty different setups with Carlos going for more rear and traction and Charles for oversteer and front end. Both for different reasons but it is great to see that the Car is fast regardless. The tyre deg was also really good lately. And the car was so good that this new floor was pretty much the first big upgrade. Where as most teams did upgrades in testing already. Before someone talks about why nobody is copying the Ferrari concept that's most likely because it's harder to understand than the RB one. At least that seems to be the consensus. This car has a lot of potential!

THE UPGRADES WORKED IMMEDIATELY This might sound funny at first but considering the fact that teams don't just get to test upgrades willy nilly to see if the work it's a big deal. Yes you can run an upgrade in the wind tunnel but that isn't at full speed and only a 60% model. And yes you can simulate the upgrade, but as great simulations are they are just approximations of the real world and you never know. Plus both of those things are regulated in terms of how much teams are allowed to use them. Bringing out upgrades that immediately work means you understand your car well.

We have a good driver pair I know I'm not always the nicest but Carlos is a great driver and he is getting to grips with the car. And that is great to see! And Charles has shown that he can keep up with Max, battle him and even beat him on multiple occasions. Both of them lack experience in a title fight but there is no way around gaining that experience other than going through it. And it hurts and sucks at the moment but they will learn from it.

There are things to improve on and things to learn from. But I am sure that they will. This includes the drivers and the team. This is a new experience for these driver and the team to a certain extent. And the step up they all made together from 2020 is insane and shouldn't get lost amongst everything that sadly has gone wrong.

There are still steps to go but that doesn't mean the leap over the last two seasons hasn't been impressive.

Maybe it was even too impressive because it got everyone's hopes and dreams up for something that maybe just shouldn't happen this season. But that doesn't meant that there aren't plenty of positives to take from this season. That will help for next season.

What have been the BLs that took you by surprise this year? (How many of these am I allowed to do?)

180 Degree Longitude Passes Through Us - do I need to bring up the person I was during this time? I would not shut up about this show. There was so much to unpack. And I still find it impressive how invested I was into a BL that mostly was just talking in various rooms in a random mansion in the woods, which I know is taking away all the nuances that were happening in the show by describing it like that but that is really what was going on...... and here I go again.

DNA Says Love You- what can I say, this show changed me.

Triage - this show was so hard to get ahold of when it was airing but it was so good I couldn't stop watching. The angry doctor had to rescue the rich brat and both changed because of falling in love. Seriously sign me up!

Star in My Mind - I had no expectations, I feel in love with Dunk before the show started, I am now biased, I loved this show.

Cherry Blossoms After Winter - adopted brothers and a marriage proposal at the end. Of course I loved it.

Secret Crush On You - I watched the first episode *cringe* and stopped watching, I kept seeing the show talked about and by episode 5 I started over to get caught up and I am so glad I did.

Semantic Error - let's be real, this show blew most people that watched it out of the water. It had no right to be so good yet it was, and I loved it.

Mr. Unlucky Has No Choice But To Kiss - it was ridiculous, but so sweet and I loved every moment of it.

What have been the BLs that you felt a bit disappointed with this year?

Enchante - I watched it all, I'm not sure why (no hate to ForceBook)

Plus and Minus - it was going soooo well, then it derailed with the random breakup and I got pretty mad about it on Tumblr. I didn't really forgive it even though it ends happy.

Unforgotten night - oh boy

Kinnporsche - yes, I realize by putting this people might be angry. But I was disappointed. It wasn't the actors, the chemistry, VegasPete, or anything related to Vegas, I just had such a problem with the clearly different directors and random tone changes throughout. It was inconsistent.

What has been your favorite BL this year?

Does Bad Buddy count as this year? I know it was mostly last year. But I lost my marbles over that show. If it doesn't, then maybe Not Me. Or honestly Triage. I loved shows this year that were very story driven.

Kind of depends.... are we talking movie? Top Gun: Maverick. American TV show? Stranger Things season 4 (yeah yeah I'm one of those stranger things fans). Non-american TV show? It didn't come out this year, but I watched it this year and it was so good that im going to use it, Extracurricular. It's a kdrama about a boy in high school who runs a "security service" for prostitutes in order to make money to pay for college. It's dark, and messed up, and honestly kind of brutal, but it was so gripping I couldn't look away. The main character is played by Kim Dong Hee who is able to play the character with so much heart and understanding that you are siding with him and the decisions he is making even though it is very illegal. I can't say enough good things about this show.

Chapter 5: Then Let The Games Begin

Soooo, the Batfam is panicking, Gotham's confused as to why Iron Man is flying over Gotham like a madman, and Maria is with two of Gotham's Sirens (but only Ivy and Harley know this) having a wonderful time playing with Bud and Lou.

Let's start with the Sirens.

Harley is watching over Maria and Tikki as they sleep with Bud and Lou, Ivy walkes over to sit next to Harley, handing her a cup of tea.

"So, what's the diagnosis?" - Ivy

"She has some sort of trauma, has class issues... and handles more than she should, but still does everythin', on top of bein' a hero. She's been through some sh-t Pam." Yeah Harley may have found out Maria's a hero (if the tiny god and magic were anything to go by).

"Is she alone?" - Ivy

"No, thankfully, she has supportive parents, and friends that aren't little sh-ts. I think they're also heroes, she also has a lot, and I a mean A LOT of pent up emotions, she doesn't show anythin' negative, only positive things. She seems to shrink in on herself if she thinks she does somethin' wrong. Pam, we both know there's a limit to how much crap a person can take before they snap, and she's such a sweet kid. There has to be somethin' we can do to help her Ives." Ok she found out alot, but in Marias' defense, they have trustworthy souls, and they were the only other people (besides her friends) that she talked to about it, yes she had her Maman and Uncle to talk about hero stuff, but for the stuff her class does, she only ever vented (without being negative) to her friends.

"Her class is visiting the Botanical Gardens in three days, and it's a 2 part tour, so we can see just what's going on. If it's bad then we scare them a bit, if it's bad bad... they can handle a few slightly poisonous plants right?" - Ivy

"God I love the way ya think Ives, do ya think she can stay with us? I mean look at how cute she is with Bud and Lou... Oh my god, she's cuddlin' dem, and ya gave her a flower crown, how'd I miss that?! Where's the camera?"

Harley took a picture to remind her of this wonderful moment. As Ivy and Harley looked at the picture, they both promised to keep Maria safe, and maybe become sorta kinda-ish parents to her while she's in Gotham.

•—–·Now back to the Bat-Chaos Bat-Cave·–—•

Tim took over the chair and was now searching the possible locations with Jarvis, Damian was sitting on a different chair, trying to act cool, but he wouldn't stop looking over at Tim, to see his progress. Bruce was talking over the comms with Tony. Dick and Jason, weren't helping (they kept feeding each other worse and worse ideas of what could have happened to Maria). Then they heard Jarvis speak.

"I have found the most likely area Ms. Dupain-Cheng would be in. Her phone died about 56 blocks away from her hotel, if we don't count kidnapping, or murder, she would have thought about asking for directions, but may have decided not to considering the city she is in. So that leaves us with a possible 15-25 mile radius from her last known location. I think it best to divide into groups of two, have Oracle stay and update you if anything on security, and or traffic cameras happens. Bruce will be with Tony, Dick will go with Tim, and Jason will go with Damain to search within the area. Stephanie and Cassandra will search around a 5 mile radius near Wayne hotel." as Jarvis continued to explain the other details, the Batfam began to suit up, Batman met up with Iron Man, and they took the North area, Nightwing and Red Robin took the East area, while Red Hood and Robin searched the South. Steph and Cass were on foot in civilian clothes, searching the West area they were assigned.

They searched for the whole day, and came up with nothing. Until Oracle saw a video from a traffic cam around 9pm, 15 blocks away from where her phone died. She called it in and everyone went back to the cave. Once everyone was at the Bat-Computer, Oracle pressed play, the cameras didn't have sound, and it wasn't close enough to see if she was ok.

They watched as she went to an overgrown parking lot and sat down. She was looking down at the ground, and that's when they spotted two figures round the corner and spot her. They watched as the two figures approach Maria, and saw the startled reaction she had. They realized it was Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy that were talking to her, then they saw Maria collapse. They watched as Harley made sure she was ok, looking over to Ivy before looking back to Maria and picking her up. The last thing they saw, was Maria being carried away by two of Gothams' most dangerous rouges, but now they knew where to look next.

Harley continued to take adorable pictures of the children.

"God, they're so f-ckin' cute!" - Harley for the 20th time

As Ivy continued to watch while caring for her plants, Catwoman walked in.

"Hey girls, got the stuff for movie night, so what are we- Holy mother of cats! He adopted another f-cking child didn't he! Where the hell does he keep finding them?! 7 was ment to be the god DAMN LIMIT!!!" - Catwoman

Maria jumped at the sudden shouting and may have accidentally summoned a yo-yo (one made useing creation magic and protection magic) before saying.

"Tikki where's the akuma?! How long was I out?! Forget it Tikki spot-" she then realized she wasn't in Paris, and seeing a new face, she also realized she just spilled her secret to another person within the same day... kinda

"Fffffffffffudge sunday that fell on the pavement!" - Maria shouted in baker profanities

"That's not how ya curse sweetheart. It should go more like-" Harley was cut off by a vine Ivy had summoned.

"Harley, cursing makes the plants sad, you know this." - Ivy said removing the vine

Harley just walked over to Maria and whipsered it in her ear.

"You're supposed to say it more like this, ' ..... .... ... .. ....... .. ... .....' ok?" - Harley ended with a big smile

"... I will never see this world in the same frickin' light ever again." - Maria

"ehh close enough." - Harley

"Can someone please tell me, WTH is going on here, on our special girls day off?!" - Catwoman

"She is a new member of the Sirens as of today, and as a member, she's unda our protection, so effective immediately." - Harley

"Cool." - Maria

"Harley." - Ivy

"Wut... first things first, if she is going to join, she needs to be very flexible, know how to fight, and be incredibly intelligent." - Catwoman

"She beat Ed's @ss with a gun pointed at her, and solved every riddle with ease, so I'm positive she'll be an amazin' addition to the team." - Harley

'God she sounds like a new mother now' "But we don't know how good her flexibility is." - Catwoman

"I know, hey Maria, ya wanna do some tricks with me, of course we need to stretch first, but do ya wanna give it a go?" - Harley

"Sure." - Maria

Ivy and Catwoman sat down on a couch a few feet away from where Maria and Harley stood in the empty part of the building. They started out with stretches, and to Catwoman's surprise (and Harley's delight) Maria copied Harleys streches perfectly.

"Ok, now that that's done, we'll start with some cartwheels, then move on to flips, then handsprings and so on." - Harley

Maria gave Harley a nod... and they were off... literally, Harley did a cartwheel into a handspring, and a few backflips, Maria executed it flawlessly. Harley did some more complicated gymnastics tricks, and Maria did it, Harley did triple backflips going into a cartwheel, into a summersault, and Maria did that perfectly as well. This went on until both Harley and Maria were slightly out of breath, both having massive smiles on their faces.

"Ives, please let her join, she's like a mini me." - Harley then hugged Maria and they somehow both tripled in cuteness as they both did puppy (or Puss In Boots style) eyes at Catwoman and Ivy.

"Sure Harley." - Ivy said walking over to give Harley a small kiss on the cheek.

"Okay... but she doesn't have a costume yet, and she still has to think of a name for herself." - Catwoman

"Is a mouse good, like a mouse themed costume, that or a Turtle themed one. What do you think Harley?" - Maria

"Mmmm, I like that with the mouse you can always toy with Cat, ya know, cat an' mouse stuff, turtle seems... weird even fawh Gotham, so personally I would pick mouse, just because of the cheesy jokes you could do." - Harley

"Very funny, ok then, give me a moment."  Maria then reached out her hand, her eyes then started to glow an icy blue, and a small portal opened in front of her, she reached in and pulled out a small pendant necklace. After she put it on a small mouce appeared and greated itself, Marias' eyes going back to normal after closing the portal.

"Hello I'm Mullo, nice to meet you all."

Catwoman sat at the far left end of the couch, next to her sat Ivy, then Maria, and then Harley, Bud and Lou by their feet. All of them sharing one big blanket (Becuase if Iron Man did show up, or any of the birds, then Maria was in a protective burrito and they may not see her right away) and they started the movie.

"She took her cat-nap already? Seriously?" - Harley

"... What about Pirates of The Caribbean?" - Maria

"I'm good with that." - Ivy

And they started the next movie, Maria was happy, it felt like when her maman and papa would sleep with her when she made a pillow fort. It was a loving atmosphere, it felt safe, and nothing could ruin it. Marias' eyes became heavy, and she leaned her head on Harleys' shoulder, falling asleep after a few minutes.

Ivy paused the move looking over to see both Harley and Maria sleeping, soon Ivy also fell asleep in the comfortable silence.

Around an hour later Maria woke up in a panic, she had a nightmare, and kept looking around frantically for someone with tears running down her face.

"What's the matter hun?" - Harley said looking around to see if someone had gotten in. When she looked back at Maria she saw that she was crying.

"What happened?" Harley asked in a kind voice that was filled with motherly love.

"I, just *hic* had a bad dream that's *hic* all, I'm fine." - Maira said trying to wipe the tears away.

"You're ok, I promise nothin's goin' to happen to ya as long as Ivy and I are here, ok hun?" - Harley hugged Maria, and she could feel the girl let out a few more sobs, and quick breathes.

"Thanks Maman." Maria didn't even realize what she had said, it just felt natural for her to say it.

"You're welcome hun." 'Omg I'm gonna cry, she called me maman!' Harley rubbed small circles over Marias' back, and began humming until she fell asleep, she continued to hug Maria until she also fell asleep.

"What do you mean she's with two of Gotham City's Sirens?!" - Tony

"Tony, calm down, I'll call Selina, she can talk to them and get this all sorted out." - Bruce

"Why isn't she picking up? And unlike some people, this family doesn't like outing our secret identities... on live TV." - Bruce

"Oh well excuse me for not keeping my secret identity a SECRET!" - Tony

"I'll try calling her one more time." - Bruce

"Bruce, it's 3am. Who in their right mind ever stays up this late.... aside from this family." - Tim with a giant coffee mug in hand.

Selina looked over to Maria and Harley, both of them shook their heads with mischievous grins.

"I've been with them all day, and I haven't once seen a girl that looks like your kids. Now can I go back to sleep, and forget this ever happened?" - Selina

"WHERE IS MY NIECE!!!" - Tony

"Oh, hey Tony, didn't know you were there, don't know who, or where your niece is, but good luck trying to find her. Oh and Bruce, I'm shutting my phone off so you don't keep calling till the butt crack of dawn. And congrats it's now 4am. you owe me a lunch date, uh-ba-bye." Selina then hung up her phone and turned it off.

"That went pretty well if you ask me, now I'm going back to sleep." - Selina

The room was silent for a few minutes before Jason spoke up.

"Does that mean that Pixiepop ran away and is even more lost now?!" - Jason

"Oh god, what do we do, what if she got hurt?!" - Dick

"What if she got kidnapped?!" - Jason

"What if she's with a big time Gotham Villain?!" - Dick

"... What if she got more coffee?" - Tim

"... Lets all go to sleep, and when we wake up, we'll head over to their base and double check. She could've just said that because I called her at 3am." - Bruce

Selina went to a different part of the building, where Maria assumed the bedrooms were. Ivy had gone to the greenhouse to be with the plants, and now it was just her and Harley left on the couch, and she couldn't sleep.

"... Harley?" - Maria

"Yeah hun?" - Harley

"I can't sleep." - Maria

"Well, watcha wanna do till ya get tired?" Harley asked sitting up a little straighter to get a better look at Maria.

Maria gave a sly smile, and looked Harley in the eyes "Want to go free-running on the rooftops?"

"... Alright, but lets get some coffee, and a snack in us first." - Harley gave her a side hug, before getting up to go make the coffee, and grab some snacks.

After they had their coffee, they climbed to the roof of the base. Harley was in her outfit, bat in hand and ready to do some bonding.

"So, how does ya outfit work?" - Harley

"Like so, ready Mullo?" - Maria

"Yes Maria" - Mullo

"Ok, Mullo, Get Squeaky!" A bright light flashes, and when Harley could see again, Maria was in a dark gray suit, wearing black knee high boots, with a strip of pink at the knee, and black elbow length gloves with the same pink strip at her elbow. Her mask was a slightly lighter gray on the top part, and pink on the bottom. Her hair was pulled into two buns with pink ribbons that faded to gray, and to black at the very tip. Her jump rope around her waist forming a tail going just below the back of her knees.

"Just when I think ya can't get any more adorable. So what should I call ya?" - Harley

"You can call me Multimouse." - Maria

Soon they were racing and doing tricks off different roofs, they were really enjoying themselves. From one of the roofs they heard a commotion in one of the alleys, when they looked down they saw a man holding a woman at gunpoint.

"Not good, seems like he's got issues, probably lost his lover, most likely has additions to drugs and alcohol, and seems to be a little tipsy." - Harley

"I've got a plan." - Multimouse

Multimouse droped a little way behind the guy, grabbing his attention while Harley got the lady to safety.

"You know there's a help center two blocks from here that would be more than willing to help you." - Multimouse

The crook just raised his gun to her trying to keep it steady as he spoke.

"Give me all your money little girl, or else I'll hurt you."

"1. That's not how you hold a gun. 2. That is no way to treat any girl. and 3. Instead of money, I'll give you my jump rope." - Multimouse

"Why the hell would I want your jump rope, that thing looks worthless." the crook lowered his guard enough as Multimouse pretended to hand over her jump rope, only to use it in a quick motion to dismarm the man, as Harley promptly knocked him out with one swing.

"Lets neva have ya at gunpoint again, okay hun? I'm afraid my heart can't take it." - Harley said while tying the crook to a lamppost.

"Sorry, but it was the best idea I could come up with at the moment, besides, any guy with a gun would feel like they have the upper hand if they're facing a random little girl with a jump rope, rather than Gothams' Harley Quinn with a bat." - Multimouse

"Sadly I'm just too popular with the kiddos on the street." - Harley

They continued to stop a few more muggers on the way back to the base, and when they got back they peaked around the corner to see the whole Batfam plus Iron Man talking with Ivy and Selina.

"How much you want to bet we can get back out before they see us?" - Whispering Multimouse

"... Lets try hidin' in the kitchen." - Whispering Harley

As they tried to sneak by (still in their costumes) Selina just walks over and draggs them to the group.

"Here, now let me sleep!" - Selina

"Dang it Selina we wanted tah see just how long we could hide out in the kitchen!" - Harley

Selina did a double take now realizing they both went out.

"... You didn't." - Selina

"We wanted tah go free-runnin'! So what?" - Harley

"She could've gotten hurt Harls." - Ivy

"My suits magic, I am invulnerable to bullets, normal magic, swords, knifes, anything staby staby, and I can withstand any temperature in it." Multimouse said with a slight pout.

"Hold up, is she a magical girl?" - Red Hood in the background

When Selina let go both Harley and Multimouse went behind Ivy for protection.

"We can still make a run for it." - Harley whispered to Multimouse

"... Ok, I'll meet you on the roof." - Whispering Multimouse

Harley gave a nod as she slowly inched her wasy closer to the door that lead to the roof, as she saw Iron Man approach Multimouse.

"Please get out of your suit, we need to talk about why you're here-" - Iron Man

"Multitute!" - Multimouse

Harley then saw Multimouse shrink into dozens of tiny little versions of herself as her clones spread out in all directions, one of which was heading right for her.

"Wth, you never told us she could use magic!" - Red Robin

Harley picked her up, and slipped through the door without anyone noticing.

"That was great, but how do ya get back tuh normal size?" - Harley

"Simple, I just merge back with my clones." As she said this, all her clones came back, and she merged with herself, becoming normal sized again.

"Where to?" - Multimouse

………… So now The Batfam is trying to find many long gone Mini-Multimouses, and Harley seems to have disappeared with her. Harley and Multimouse are now running over the roofs, heading for Wayne Manor.

"So why are we going to Wayne Manor?" - Multimouse

"Because, Batsy will neva think of lookin' for us at his own home, at least not fawh a little while." - Harley

When they arrived at the Manor, Multimouse de-transformed as Harley knocked on the door.

"Ms. Quinn, Ms. Maria, pleasure to see you here, please come in." - Alfred

"Are any of the bat-birds here?" - Harley

"Ms. Barbara, Ms. Stephanie, and Ms. Cassandra are the only ones here at the moment." - Alfred

"Do ya think you can keep us bein' here a secret from Batsy?" - Harley

"Harley? What are you doing here with Maria?" - Barbara

"It seems that Ms. Harley and Ms. Maria are now playing hide and seek with the rest of the family." - Alfred

"Did someone say hide and seek?" - Steph

"Yes, so could we maybe try and keep this a secret from everyone else, please?" - Maria

"Sure, it was starting to get boring around here. We can all hide in the living room no one ever use. Barbara you show them the way, I'll get the food/drinks and boardgames." - Steph

"Is this alright with you Alfred?" Maria

"It's all right Ms. Maria, you can hide out in the old living room." - Alfred

"Thanks Alfie, ya the best." - Harley

"Thank you Alfred." - Maria

"Ok then, follow me." - Barbara

In the old living room, Harley, Maria, Barbara, Steph, and Cass began to formulate a plan.

"Ok, so the best way for them to never find you is to have your phone off, stay away from any and all cameras, and show your face to no one." - Steph

"So, do you have anything in mind that you might want to do?" - Barbara

"Can we put them on a wild goose chase?" - Maria

Cass nodded to Marias' suggestion approvingly.

"I can hack a few traffic cams to help with that." - Barbara

"We can also throw in some useless hints, to throw dem even further off our scent." - Harley

"Good idea Harley." - Barbara

"Thanks, but how long do ya think we should make it last?" - Harley

"As long as Maria wants it to." - Barbara

"Then let the games begin." - Maria.

In Supersons we see a couple of kids that are implied to be Damian and Jon's children and the boy has laser eyes and can fly, so I asume he's not adopted. The girl, who calls Bruce grandpa, can also fly, btw. So it's canon (probably by accident) that Jon can have kids and he must have married one of Bruce's kids. (I'm hoping for Damian, mostly because any other of his children would be waaaaaaaaaaaaay too old.) @artemisa97

Memories 2015 Disc 3

So I asked awhile ago when I said I was going back to watch every memories DVD they have released so far, if you would be interested in commentary from me as I did so. There were a lot of people who said yes, so here we are! I have officially watched BTS Memories of 2015. Here are my thoughts as I went. There were only 4 DVDs in this one. Part 1 with the first 2 discs is already up and on my masterlist. Reminder that these aren't going to be smoothly written out thoughts. You get these like I'm live reacting, texting my bestie or live tweeting. Lol it'll be in like bullet point format sort of, just... a commentary post as I go. Lol Hope you enjoy anyway! Let's go!

Disc 3:

Wake Up Japan Concert Making Film:

Wake Up: Open Your Eyes, BTS's first Japan tour. They did 6 concerts from February 10th - 19th in 2015. They were soooo excited about having a first tour in Japan. Omg.

Watching the Tannies get giggly and embarrassed watching back their own VCRs is so cute. I swear I love seeing them react to themselves. Lol

During Joon's pep speech before their second concert, I absolutely love that he goes "and do NOT touch the actual lasers during 2nd grade performance." Did that happen on the first day or maybe during rehearsals? Lmfao

No, because BTS were hopping off that stage during this concert and going right up to the gate to hold hands with and engage directly with fans. Can you imagine?! Suga doing his ending commentary talking about how Jimin hit him with his mic and Jimin just backhugging him the whole time apologizing. Lol

Everyone after their 3rd concert in Osaka, exhausted but happy coming off stage. Jungkook, cartwheeling and barrel rolling down the hallway to the camera to give his ending mentions. Lol so much energy 😂

Everyone celebrating Hobi's birthday on stage during their Nagoya concert and he was so happy. Everyone was giving him so many hugs, Vmin especially were all over him. The fans all singing and bringing a cake on stage.

They loved this tour. That was so sweet. I also am giggling over how whoever picked which concert footage made it into this tour making film, picked Jimins No More Dream Ab reveal from every single show to go in 😂 ugh, I'm going to need to find this concert in full to watch at some point, it looked so good!

BTS Live Trilogy Episode 2: The Red Bullet Tour Making Film:

So this started with bringing us back to Nov. 2014 and their very first concert outside of Korea for the Red Bullet Tour, rehearsals and getting ready for that first performance. It then also brings us through the preparation for the rest of the Red Bullet Tour prep through August 2015 as well.

Tae taking us on a tour of everyone's hotel rooms in Toyko, except JinJikook who didn't answer their door. RM was working so hard. It's the way they never stop working. Even in the middle of the night, they are running through things for the concert or working on music.

So is every performance of Outro: Propose just a chance for vocal line to flirt with each other? Lol JK proposing to Jin, Vmin blowing kisses to each other...

The cameraman continually trying to run away from JK who keeps trying to stick tape to the camera lens. Lmfao why?!

Jin, JM and JK go to the gym and have a pull up contest, whoever loses has to do 30 push-ups. JK lost with 10 pull-ups to JinMin's 11. And this is where we get the oh so iconic "Okay baby, 30 push-ups" and "make sure you show ARMY your arm muscles" moment. This is from the fanmeeting/concert date in the Philippines in Dec 2014. And I'll just... 🤐 Now he also showed off Jin's arm muscles during push-ups to ARMY and called them both sexy, but there was a fairly obvious difference in tone and amount of "wows" used in my opinion. And again, I'll just... 🤐

Singapore fanmeeting was huge! So cool. On stage was amazing. Everyone taking turns doing aeygo in the center of the stage, then there is Jimin who does a body roll 😂 because of course. I still can't get over how close they got with the fans during these concerts. Jimin literally practically gave one girl his mic during one of the last few songs. And they came off that stage with SO MUCH energy. Suga screaming as he runs with his hands in the air is amazing. They were so excited to be in Singapore. NamKook's "mom I'm in Singapore" yells to the camera 🥺

Suga trying to pretend like he isn't as touched as he was and trying to scold the members and staff for not telling him about his birthday surprise. They brought cake on stage and fans all sang to him. He got emotional and embarrassed and it was so sweet.

Lmfao after the concert Jimin sneaks the camera into his room with Tae to surprise him. "He might be undressed." Lol then leave the camera behind Jimin! Warn your friend 😂 and he was not dressed. Lmfao *footage cuts* This was followed by 2 different self directed vmin skits. One a monster hunter/monster attack in the bathroom (Jimin playing the role of the moster) and their angst filled gay lovers break up skit. Lol

They were all so excited to go to the zoo in Sydney and to take a ferry to go see the Opera House. I love them. They were disappointed they didn't have time to see a Gorilla so Namjoon pretended to be one to make them happy. Worlds best leader. On the ferry JinMin were doing the titanic pose but kept poking each other's armpits. Lol the editors "they look like a newly Wed couple on their honeymoon." 🤣 and then RM wanting to do it too. Minimoni titanic so cute.

Whose idea was it to let BTS do self cameras during their encore because it has been beautiful chaos every single time and i love them for it. Also JKs little butt tap to Jimin when he is trying to show him how to be cute on stage for ARMY because JK got embarrassed doing aeygo. Lol and JK trying to teach Tae his hat trick choreo for no more dream while Jihope watches. Ahh, the start of the dance line, this is where it started and just a few years later Tae officially gets named Dance Line too 🥺

Everyone is practicing super seriously to for We On in rehearsals... and then there is Taekook wildly flailing, head banging and jumping all over the entire stage behind them the whole time unless it's their turn to sing. 🤣 I love how they have so much fun together.

Not Jimin picking Jin up on his shoulders to jump around during the encore. Lol I have seen them do this multiple times over the years. Why is it always them?! 😅 and the way JK hated doing aegyo on stage. Everytime he got picked he got so embarrassed and stopped halfway through for someone else to do it for him anyway. Lmao usually Suga, Joon or Jin take over for him.

Getting ready for the LA concert and Tae is teasing JK about his old predebut vlogs and going "awww pre puberty Jungkookie is so cute" as JK tries to wrestle the phone away from him. Lmao

The way Tae plopped his chin on top of Hobi's head followed on JKs head as they sang. And I think Suga enjoys doing his little aeygo bit. Lol they seemed to love performing in Mexico City and were able to get super close to the fans. JK was getting right up to the front row and blowing kisses!

What did Tae do to Jimin during War Of Hormone in Brazil to have him immediately start kicking him as Tae can't stop laughing as soon as the song ends? Lol BH editors, we need more context please 😂

They had so so so much in Chile. Omg. The giant stage they loved. Jin on Jimin's shoulders again. The way they all goofed off extra hard for the cameras at the end. Jimin coming up to lean his head on JKs shoulder for the self cam for a little bit. Let me melt out of cuteness. (Gif above from Jimmeo-kookliet.)

Man, Jihope be going wild for their blanket kick kiss even during rehearsals. Lol and The way that Suga is the one acting cute for almost every single show 😂 he keeps losing rock paper scissors. And a cake and birthday celebration for NamKook on stage 🥺

Man, I love them. They did 25 shows in 17 cities in 13 different countries over 11 months for this tour. That is INSANE. Not only did they travel and work so so hard during rehearsals and preparing for the concert. But they took time to learn greetings and to say I Love You to fans in the language of the country they were in. They work so hard and they care so much and they love so fully.

They were all so happy hearing ARMY cheer, scream and sing to their songs. You could see the geniune love, amazement and happiness shine through all 7 of them. They worked so so hard and not only did they go through what has to have been an exhausting but fun tour, but they were filming MVs and releasing other content and producing/recording albums. They truly really do work very very hard. I love them so much. They deserve the world 💜🥰🥺💜

I loved this. Seeing them have fun, seeing them work so hard. Seeing them start to achieve the things they deserve. Seeing them happy. I'll do Disc 4 (the final disc) in a new part since this is already long! Thanks for letting me share 💜
