a lil life update under the cut bc i know ive been mia lately 🫶

sorry i haven't written anything in forever!! my family is in the process of moving from az to minnesota and i am solo parenting a very spirited 4 year old here in arizona until my husband finds us a house so it is unlikely i will be able to write much until later in the year 😅 but tbh im so so excited for this move; with everything going on in the US this feels like a move that will give my daughter a shot at a better future. living somewhere that's solidly blue that cares about its people and where we can actually afford a house??? i mean it's a huge change (we are both born and raised arizonans - we've lived other places but this is where we've spent most of our lives) but az is just SO unsustainable atp, it feels good to go somewhere new. anyway!! im sure no one cares that much but i like to ramble here and i figured id fill y'all in just for shits and giggles. i will get back to writing in the Elliot's universe eveno, for sure! i love my guys and have so many ideas, it's just not going to happen for a bit. love you all!!! hope everyone is hanging in there in these fucked up times 💖

Why can’t I have a conversation with my mum without her picking up her phone??

She’s texting other people! I’m trying to talk to her about things that I know she would at least be mildly interested in (politics, history, workplaces etc) and she just picks up her phone to text someone and go on Facebook!

It’s okay, you didn’t literally get up and walk away when I tried talking to you about something I was interested in earlier. A personal project of mine that I’m very invested in. (She did, in fact, get up and walk away when I tried to talk to her about it.)

It's my birthday tomorrow. I'm not saying because I ever expect any form of gifts- unless TK's spies are out in which case they know exactly what I want for my special Dynamite thank you.

Instead I'm going to use the opportunity be a bit self indulgent. Recently I've let stuff get to me and been quite disheartened over making and sharing things in general. Ultimately that's a fault that lies with me and once I have a bit more energy I'll hit it with a stick until it goes away again.

There's a very daft Christmas idea I'm floating around so there's still a chance I'll inflict that on the world but over the next couple of days I'll be eating burg and generally being daft with my partner, friends and family. 👍

I'm being whiney for a minute

It's been nearly 2 weeks since I've been able to do aaaany kind of writing and literally all I wanna do is write! Life has been hectic in that time and I FINALLY got a small break last night when my mom took my daughter for a little while. Which I used the free time to clean my kitchen and shower. But like. Damn. Ya girl just wants to write silly horny stories, read silly horny stories, and start watching The Fall of the House of Usher. AHHHHH. Maybe this weekend I'll get some time to? But it's gonna be another busy weekend and AGH. I'm seriously so jealous of parents who are able to have family watch their kid(s) for a full weekend. Or couple days I general. I LOVE being a mom. I also LOVE doing things for myself that don't include being a mom. It's not selfish and I don't think it is. I just wanna do my hobbies too!!!!
