Here is Chapter 17! There’s going to be one more little chapter that I’ll post in a day or two that is pretty much just pure fluff. But chapter 17 basically closes out this story. Thank you to everyone that has read and stuck with me through this. I know the story got a little all over the place at times, but this is the first multi chapter fic I’ve ever written and I never planned for it to go this far to be honest. I appreciate all of the comments and messages as always!

I posted a teaser for a new story that I’ll start releasing in about a week or so and I might also have this idea for a little Drabble series type thing about a relationship between Yoongi and his co-worker (Y/N) and how their relationship blossoms while he’s fulfilling his military requirements through his civil service assignment.

Yoongi X Female Reader. CEO/Arranged Marriage AU

Summary: You were selected to marry the wayward CEO/Billionaire/Heir, Min Yoongi. You went into it with an open mind and heart determined to try and make it work. Yoongi on the other hand had no intention of ever letting you in let alone allowing himself to fall in love with you. Slowly you start to associate the smell of cinnamon and vanilla with the feelings of hurt and sorrow.

Your eyes kept switching between Yoongi, Mia, and Suri. Jin already looked like he’d rather be anywhere else besides sitting at this table right now. Yoongi hadn’t taken his eyes off of Mia and you weren’t sure who was enjoying it more, her or Suri. Finally after what seemed like hours Yoongi walked forward taking a seat across from Mia and you followed close behind taking a seat next to him.

Mia reached across to grab his hand and to your surprise he let her. A small blush crept across his cheeks. “Yoongles how have you been? You’re looking really good.”, she spoke making you roll your eyes at the nickname.

Your attention was pulled elsewhere when Suri suddenly called your name, “Y/N, I doubt Yoongi ever told you, but him and Mia were engaged. Unfortunately it didn’t work out. They make such a cute couple though, don’t you think?” You glared at Suri while you tried to figure out her game. She wants Yoongi so bad, but here she is gloating about what a great couple Mia and him were.

“Yoongles we should get together sometime. You know maybe get dinner or something. Then we can go back to your place and I can do that thing for you that I know you like.”, she said with a smirk running her fingers up and down his hand. Yoongi still hadn’t said anything since the two of you walked in the door. You’re not sure what came over you, but you reached over ripping his hand out of her reach and pulling it down onto your lap, “No thank you. He has a WIFE who’s more than willing to do anything and everything that he likes and more so he doesn’t need some cheating, selfish, gold digger like yourself in his life.” Everyone at the table looked at you with wide eyes and jaws dropped surprised by your little outburst. For the first time Yoongi acknowledged you by giving your hand a little squeeze.

Mia chuckled, “Oh Y/N, he really brainwashed you didn’t he? Do you think he actually cares about you let alone loves you? I heard all about it from Suri. I’m not surprised really. I mean he’s a successful, handsome, wealthy businessman and you are a poor orphan girl who will never be anything other than that. You were nothing more than a good deal to him and his family. A way to boost his image and in turn make him more money. He told me that himself.” You gasped looking to Yoongi for any sign that she was lying. When his expression didn’t change you shoved his hand out of your lap with force. Mia faked a shocked expression, “You mean you didn’t tell her Yoongi? You didn’t tell her about our little meet up a few weeks ago where you told me all about how much you couldn’t stand her and how you regretted this whole marriage?” The entire time this conversation had been taking place Suri has been off to the side reveling in watching it all. She knew bringing Mia back into the mix would be the final nail in the coffin that she needed to get you out of their life. Yoongi could never resist his first love.

You could feel the tears begin to form. You didn’t want to cry and show weakness in front of these people, but it seemed like your brain wasn’t going to cooperate. Abruptly standing up you tried to walk off towards the exit, but Yoongi grabbed your wrist begging you to stop, “Y/N please let me explain. It’s not what you think.”

The sound of the slap was probably heard through the entire building. Yoongi winced placing a hand on his reddened cheek. “Don’t ever fucking touch me again Yoongi.”, you whispered before trying to run off only to stop and turn to Suri instead realizing you had some unfinished business.

You wanted to get in her face, but decided to keep your distance reminding yourself that she was pregnant.

“Are you happy now Suri? Is this what you wanted? Look how many lives you’ve ruined and for what? You think you’re so smart and powerful, but in reality you’re an idiot who abuses others for your own personal benefit. You’ll get what’s coming to you one day.”

She stood there smiling at you for a few moments before finally speaking, “Y/N, I told you that I always get what I want and I meant it. I don’t care who or what I have to destroy to do it. I’ve had Yoongi wrapped around my finger for years and I wasn’t going to allow you to take that from me.”

“You’ve blackmailed him for years.”, you cut her off with the correction.

“So fucking what? I blackmailed him. I’ve blackmailed a lot of people. I’ve blackmailed Yoongi, Namjoon, my own brother, and countless other people and I don’t give a fuck. They all deserved it. That’s how I get shit done. Unlike you I won’t stop until I achieve my goal. I don’t just back down and let others walk all over me.”

She was somewhat out of breath after her rant was over with. You were about to respond when a very loud knock at the door stopped you.

“Good grief, it’s about time.”, Jin mumbled as he got up to let them in. Within seconds two detectives came walking over followed by two more police officers handcuffs already out.

One of the officers walked forward towards Suri, “Suri Cho, you are under arrest for the extortion of Yoongi Min, Namjoon Kim, and Han Cho. You are also being charged with making threats against Y/N Min and Mia Park. We don’t want to have to put you in handcuffs in your current condition so please come with us peacefully.”

“W-What? No absolutely not! I haven’t done anything wrong.”, she said backing herself against the wall.

“Miss Cho, please come with us.”, the officer said inching closer.

“I have not done anything wrong. You have no proof of any of these charges you are putting against me.”

From the corner of the room Jin cleared his throat. “Actually, here are transcripts of texts, voicemails, and emails between Suri and Namjoon as well as the paternity test confirming the identity of her unborn child. Here is the recording that we ourselves obtained of her confessing to blackmailing Yoongi for years.”, he said handing over everything that he had pulled out of his bag. “You guys also have the live feed that you just obtained with the help of Mia.”, Jin reminded them while zipping up his bag before throwing Suri a smug look.

“What?!”, she shouted looking over at the woman still sitting across from you.

“Did you have something to do with this? I asked you for help! How could you betray me like this?”, Suri shouted.

Mia walked over to one of the detectives and gave his cheek a kiss before turning her attention back to Suri with a smirk. She opened up her blouse slightly to reveal a microphone, “Maybe next time you want help breaking the law don’t contact and threaten someone who happens to be married to one of the top detectives in the country.”

Suri looked stunned.

“Miss Cho, it’s time to come with us.”, one of the officers repeated. Suri looked at all of you with tears of anger in her eyes before following after the officers. You felt a sudden sense of relief watching her walk out of your home.

“Well that was eventful. Thank you everyone for your hard work in orchestrating this. I didn’t realize I was surrounded by so many actors. Yoongi and Y/N I’ll be in contact as you will have to be summoned for questioning. Mia, weird seeing you again. Don’t cheat on your husband, he seems nice. Stay classy as always.”, Jin spoke before grabbing his belongings and also heading out the door.

Yoongi walked over to you wrapping an arm around your waist as you both looked over at Mia hoping she’d get the hint. Awkwardly she shuffled her feet while rubbing her arm.

“So I’m glad everything worked out. I was really worried she’d loose it. I had been ignoring her for a while thinking she’d eventually give up on this whole crazy idea, but when she came to me saying she was pregnant and that she was going to claim it wasn’t consensual I knew I had to reach out to you guys. I think she realized everything was starting to fall apart and she was getting desperate and even more delusional.”

“Uh yeah that’s why we decided to get the police involved. Originally we didn’t want to, but the longer this went on and the crazier she got we knew that simply just threatening her wouldn’t do anything.”, Yoongi responded.

“I just feel bad for the baby. That’s the only reason I didn’t want her to get arrested like this.”, you sighed.

Mia smiled, “Don’t worry. I’m sure they’ll work something out for her. Maybe house arrest or something. I’ll have my husband talk to the prosecutor.”

The air was filled with awkward silence until Mia finally started putting on her coat and heading to the door with you and Yoongi following behind to see her out.

“Maybe we could hang out some time. Go on a double date or something now that we’ve grown up and moved past what happened between us.”, she chuckled looking at Yoongi. You had a hard time reading his expression, but it looked like you could still detect a hint of admiration in his eyes as he looked at his past love. Your heart filled with sadness or maybe jealousy, you weren’t really sure.

“Listen Mia, I really appreciate everything you’ve done for us with this Suri situation and I really do thank you. But having you in my life isn’t good for me any more. I’ve spent years hating you and hating myself because of what you did to me. I tried my hardest to make Y/N hate me because I didn’t think I could ever love someone again the way I loved you. I have learned to forgive you though and I’ve finally gotten to a point where I feel that it’s okay to let go of that part of my life and move on while looking forward to the future with Y/N. So we are going to politely decline the invite and while I wish you nothing but happiness for the rest of your life, respectfully please get out of my house and I hope we never have to see each other again.”

You looked on with a shocked expression waiting for her to blow up, but instead she smiled and nodded, “I understand. Glad I could help with this though. Best of luck to you both.”

After the door closed behind her you and Yoongi walked into the kitchen so he could grab a drink. He still seemed a little shaken up. While he was sipping on his water you walked up behind and wrapped your arms around his waist.

“I love you.”, you mumbled into his back.

He chuckled before turning around to face you, “I love you too Y/N.” He leaned in to give you a kiss and you reciprocated the action. He winced a little before lightly rubbing his cheek, “I know I agreed to the slap to make it more believable, but I really didn’t think you were going to hit me as hard as you could like that.”

“I know I’m sorry. I got a little carried away, but I’ve been wanting to do that for a while. Plus Mia got me a little more heated than I thought she would when she was saying all that stuff.”, you giggled.

“Yeah something tells me that she wasn’t completely acting.”

You smiled, “Yeah well something tells me I wasn’t completely acting when I called her a selfish, cheating, gold digger either.”

You wrapped your arms around his neck to bring him closer and get a better look at his cheek, “Come here, I’ll kiss it better.”,

He smirked, “Well if that’s the case I have a few other places that are a little sore too.”

Rolling your eyes you grabbed his hand and pulled him down towards the bedroom.

After he was sat down on the bed you straddled his lap and began placing kisses along his jaw and neck, but you quickly noticed he seemed distracted. Pulling away you followed his line of sight and saw that he was staring at his dresser.

“Everything okay?”, you asked getting off of him and taking a seat on the bed instead.

He shook his head before walking over to the dresser grabbing a familiar red bottle. He popped off the top and the room immediately filled with the very familiar scent of cinnamon and vanilla. Something that you had grown to despise. A scent that at one point would make you feel sick to your stomach. Until one day it didn’t and instead it started to smell like the comfort it was advertised as.

Yoongi stared down at the bottle in his hands before he laughed, “Mia first bought me this cologne as a gift for Christmas many years ago. I was never a huge fan of it, but she would always go on and on about how much she loved it. I continued to buy it just to make her happy. Then even after we broke up I still bought it because I didn’t want to let that part of me go. I guess I thought if I kept using this cologne I could trick myself into thinking it never happened and keep that part of my life with me forever.”

He paused for a moment before scoffing to himself, “Looking back that was pretty stupid. The cologne had nothing to do with it and I was just using it to cover up my true emotions that I didn’t want to face.”

You walked over resting your head on his shoulder and began rubbing his back, “It’s not stupid Yoongi. You did what you had to do to cope. You can keep it or you can throw it away and we’ll get you something different. It’s up to you.”

He stared into your eyes before nodding and walking into the bathroom and not long after you heard a loud clank from the glass hitting the bottom of the trash can. A few seconds later he emerged with a gummy smile looking like he felt lighter and happier than he had in a while.

He walked over and placed his hands on your hips before turning you around and falling back onto the bed pulling you on top of him,

“Now Mrs. Min, where were we?”

first time he sees you, he honestly doesn’t notice you much because you’re some random human they brought in for a tech collaboration to improve spider-tech.

he’s not one for socializing—always on a mission and trying to get shit done since everyone else is busy fucking off.

it’s not until you approach him while he’s sitting alone one day and ask to sit w/ him at lunch that he really noticed you. you’re... kinda cute. oh, you just smiled at him. ok, you’re very cute.

and you’re kind. he sees you a lot, taking care of mayday when Peter has to run off and take care of impromptu spider-missions, just chatting to other spider-people and making them smile. you’re so sweet. Miguel hasn’t felt any semblance of romantic attraction in years.

he definitely struggles w/ these feelings at first. never shows that he is, but is more intentional about keeping his distance. you, of course, are hurt because you have no idea what you did to upset him. Peter assures you Miguel is just Like That but you don’t buy it.

so one day you approach him and ask him if you did something wrong. he’s taken aback, but then shakes his head and tries to walk off. you follow closely behind before you gently grab his hand and make him face you. this ache in his chest... it’s so familiar.

he quickly pulls his hand away and walks off. he ignores you for the next few weeks until lyla talks some sense into him. “you’re mad because... theyre nice? I will never understand human romance.”

“no, lyla, I’m not mad because theyre nice. theyre a distraction—one I don’t have time for.”

“pretty sure you do. your schedule is clear for the rest of the day. go talk to them!”

Miguel actually does not, but Peter dumps mayday in Miguel’s arms, talking about how he has to go “take care of something”, only for him to realize that Peter had also told you to look after mayday, so both you and Miguel end up in the same place.

Miguel cant run away, either, because mayday is nestled in his hair. you laugh and gently pluck her into your arms, cradling her as she giggles. she takes Miguel’s pointer finger and squeezes it tight, shaking it back and forth.

Miguel imagines you with gabi, and it fucking kills him inside. but he also imagines that gabi would want him to be happy. so he lets himself stay a little longer and chat w/ u.

he starts paying attention to all the things he didn’t let himself look at before—how soft you look. every part of you—your cheeks, your arms, your stomach, your thighs. you’re precious. he feels the urge to... hug you. to protect you.

you notice he seems to be troubled so you gently place a hand on his—“how about we play a game w/ mayday, Miguel?” and he finds himself nodding.

INTO THE RELATIONSHIP HC:

Miguel strikes me as the type of person who would forget to eat a lot. he’s a busy man and I don’t think he’d really keep track of meals and such.

you, however, are not ok w/ that. you always make him sit down and eat together whenever possible. if Miguel’s on a mission, you’ll cook him a meal and sit and wait for him to come back for hours, sometimes even falling asleep at the table.

when Miguel comes back and sees you asleep, he just lets out a soft sigh and picks you up, trying to bring you back to your shared bed, but you just nuzzle into him and mumble, “did you like it?” and he’s like “I haven’t eaten yet, baby.” and you gently push his chest and whisper, “go eat. I’ll sit w/ u.”

Miguel almost laughs because you’re literally half asleep but he compromises since you’re so insistent and lets you lay down on the couch while he sits beside you and eats. you fall asleep w/ your head on his thigh and him stroking your hair.

Gabimaru & Chobei; Their Humanity & Some Parallels

Both Gabimaru and Chobei are one of the most dangerous, strongest, violent criminals of the story. Even though, they dont interact much because they have their own story and journey, its like there is this Aza brothers and Gabi-gang. Be carefull for the spoilers :)))).

1- Humanity of Two Crazy Savages;

Those two characters are easiely one of the most interesting characters in series because of humanity in them, despite the fact that they are bloody criminals and what makes it better is its different for both of them.

With Gabimaru, every interaction and connection he made with others shows a different side of him. First, with his wife Yui, first person who ever kind to him and we get cute, blushy side of Gabi and later with Sagiri, she saves his life and despite the fact that her job is killing him, she empathise with him as person, not only it helps her to grow better and she also helps him to grow too, they connected deeply. And his interaction with Yuzuriha is sassy and they dont really get along but it still feels geniue, like sibling relationship. And with Mei, he decides to help that little girl because he remembered that she was treated horribly, just like Yui was and he empathize her desire to live normal life which is something he desperately wants too. And with other comprades he made with Tamiya, Fuchi and others, he naturaly gets along with him because why not? They dont have any reason to fight and all so we get this another side of Gabi with the connections he made with multiple people. We get version of him being flustered, sassy, grumpy, nekomaru etc, its fun to explore of him because he is not hollow. And the fact that he is small guy makes it funnier, lol.

With Chobei, another criminal we explore his humanity, during the story but in opposite way because Chobei doesnt really care about other people the way Gabi did. He has no interest in them and he has no motivation to change and to him, he already has everything he needs. Power, respect, Toma. He is egoistical barbaric guy who can easiely get along with others but he simply dont want to so what makes his character interesting isnt the ‘interaction’ he had with multiple people, it is just one person, his little brother Toma. Everything he did, his beginning, his ending, his motivation, everything is connected to his love for his brother. Chobei become a bandit to survive so that he could protect Toma. His one of the most important memories are being big brother. ‘Break down. Come apart.’ Something he repeatedly said from that specific memory. He doesnt mind dying for getting hurt for him and always ready to protect him. He loves Toma, he wants to protect him, he wants to be with him. It is interesting because he is very self-absorved character who couldnt care less about other people, except he will throw it all away for Toma.

If this story was longer and if Toma wanted to have normal life, i think Chobei would abandon his bandit king life. Their relationship is easiely one of the most interesting thing in story because it affects each others character, they mess each others up by only closing theirselves off from others, they are trauma bonding and has several abandonment issues but also their love is so pure that at least they have each others. Its just, no matter what happens, they will always be each others number one. (One of the funniest thing about this is the fact that only reason Chobei didnt try to/murder main squad is simply because they just little take care of his precious brother.) And no matter what kind of life they have, they would most likely still be close as possible, because thats how they are. (Relationship between Aza brothers is too much to talk so for now, thats it.)

Both characters want to go home, something they mentioned during the story. Gabi wants to Yui and Chobei wants to Toma because its their home, their humanity. I guess, what makes Gabi and Chobei different is for Gabi had nothing, so its about him finding people whom he can see as family, friends, lover etc while Chobei lost all of it at once except Toma, so he wants to protect that one family he has forever, he doesnt need others because to him, Toma can fullfil all roles for him.

2- Parallels; The Hollow and Bandit King

Gabimaru was born into nothing, he lost his family before able to knowing and fully connecting with them. He has nothing, this is why he was empty, until he met his wife. Chobei was once had everything. He was royal boy who has nice family and cute little brother but then, one boy one, he lost all of them except his little brother. Ironically, the reason they become ‘villain’/criminals are opposite. Gabimaru became criminal because he had nothing, Chobei became criminal because had something to lose. And ironically, being criminal made Gabimaru prisoner of his messed up village while it made Chobei free from messed up rules of society.

Gabimaru had no reason to feel any feeling for those he killed because thats how he was raised but Chobei wasnt raised that way but he still had to survive, he had no choice but to adapt to protect the one he care about. Chobei mirrors the people who stronger than him to adapt sitution which eventually turn him into bandit. We can say they both didnt have much choices in life.

Later after meeting his wife, Gabimaru found something he doesnt want to lose, he started to regain his humanity and during his journey, he regain it more, with the help of Sagiri and other people he encountered during his journey. He and Sagiri connect and later, he decide to help Mei anyway and he connects with others.

Though, unlike Gabimaru, Chobei is a lot closed off towards strangers. Thats why while Gabi changes during the story, Chobei remains the same at core, only his little brother who learns to connect with others change and Chobei adapts to it. While Gabimaru wants to redeem and live normal life, Chobei wants to continue live his life as criminal. Gabimaru is a lot like hero while Chobe is a lot like villain but they are very human characters in the end. Despite they seem opposite, i think it is important to remember that their beginning is different and they both are ready to give up on their humanity to return to ones they dont want to lose. Their home. Their family. For Gabimaru, its his wife Yui and for Chobei, its his little brother, Toma.

They both have compatible partner, (platonic soulmates) in a way. They have opposite, perfect match partners for them.Gabimaru’s partner is Sagiri, even their element are matching. Fire and wood. For Chobei, his partner is Toma, their elements are matching too. Metal and Earth. Sagiri is tall, black hair girl while Gabi is short, white hair boy. Sagiri has mature, compatible, mother energy, she is obsessed with rules while Gabi is cat like, stubborn, desire his freedom but also obedient. Chobei is dominant, masculine energy while Toma is obedient, feminine boy. They match perfectly. (Sagiri and Toma are kinda parallels too, in a way with their loyalty and support, etc.)

Whenever Gabimaru and Chobei about to loose their humanity, Sagiri and Thoma are the ones who reminds them to their humanity. (Though, in Gabimaru’s case, its both his wife and Sagiri.).They do their best to help them.

Another difference is about their desire to live. Gabimaru wants to have normal life for himself, thats why he tries his best to survive during the story while Chobei only wants to survive to protect his little brother, its for someone else’s sake, the moment he thought his brother can handle things by himself, he was okay with dying, thankfully he didnt.

At the end of story, both Gabimaru and Chobei die and become plant-person and saved by Sagiri and Toma. Gabimaru finally receive the normal life he wants with Yui and Chobei continue to his weird adventures with Toma.

There are many things to say but for now, thats it. Jigokuraku specifically focus on humanity of criminals and craziness of samurays so its interesting to explore, especially Gabi and Chobei gets many focus so i would like to talk about them more. There were too many pics that fits here but well, i didnt want to use too much. I read this manga years ago, kinda in a mood to talk about it more.

Calling my bf, "My Husband" Prank

(There's a prank trend where significant others are are calling their partners "My Husband" instead of their bfs. Some are very cute and some are heartbreaking if ya'll ever look it up on TikTok. Anyway for punk flower it's always cute!)

Miles set up his smartphone on a phone stance, while him and Hobie got some lunch together. The prank idea came from Miles watching some TikTok videos of one partner of a couple would say their boyfriend is their husband and wait to see their reaction. He send those videos to his friends, Gwen thought he should try it with Hobie. Pavtri said it would be cute to see his reaction, since the two been together for a long time.

The punker and artists had been dating for nine years going on ten! Miles is already twenty four, while his Hobie is twenty five. Their relationship been so long and close that Miles figure Hobie wouldn't be the kind of partner to have a negative reaction.

"Ready?" Miles happily asked as the two sit outside of HQ on a modern design courtyard to enjoy the bright sunny day on Earth 928.

Hobie nodded having to take out their take out containers and their drinks. "Yup, do I look good?" He checks himself at the camera seeing himself looking handsome. He noticed the live symbol on the Spider So-City app, "Are we live?"

"Yup! Just for fun!" Miles giggles, "You be surprised how many views we get from Punkflower fans."

"Because of Pav?" He asked already noticing a lot of hearts, likes and Pavtri commenting a big happy face emoji.

"Yup!" Miles waves at the camera, "Hey guys! Today, we got some Jamaican food from my world, it's a new mom and pop shop. So we wanted to try it." He holds his drink, "Today I order Rice and Peas with jerk chicken and fried plátano, which is ripe plantains. I got Sorrel which is Jamiaca basically sweet hibiscus tea." He took a sip trying his drink, "Mm, it's good." He shows off his plate seeing how delicious his food look.

Then, Hobie took a bite of his Jamaican patty being in a white paper bag separate from his main order tray, "This Jamaican Patty is scrummy. MMM! Been craving this for a while." He mutters having another bite of his beef Jamaican patty tasting the savory fried flavors.

"Ohh, is that good?" Miles asked as he tries to open his plastic packet where his utensils are in. His boyfriend hold out the patty out for his to try.

"Try, luv." He said letting Miles taking a bite it.

The Spider-man nodded at the flavor, "That's good! Oh wow, so much flavor. That aunty don't play."

"Hahaha, she doesn't. I knew once she started rushing us to order." Hobie chuckles.

Miles chews, "Mmm, so good. I wonder if she makes it spicy or she adds bread." He turns to the camera, "For someone people, some Jamaicans or people like to eat bread with their Jamaican patties." His eyes on some Spider-heroes being confused or asking why or why carbs on carbs.

"What are they saying?" Hobie asked.

"One said Why?" Miles giggles at the question, then saw a lot of Spider-Heroes posting Jamaican flags.

Hobie shrugs, "Because it's bloody good. I do it most of the time. It's also to make you full, too."

"Someone said carbs on carbs is insane!" His boyfriend read the comment, "Ya'll are forgetting some Latinos or Mexicans like eating bolio con tamal de dulce con café! I've seen that's a thing."

His boyfriend arched his eyebrows, "What's that?"

"It's a Mexicans corn dough that is sweeten by fruit like strawberries or pineapple and they wrap it in corn husk. I think steamed. It's a big thing during the winter times. Me and Ganke have a friend, she's Mexican and her mom made like so much and gave us some." Miles sips his drink, he look at the comments.

Miguel put a Mexican flag and wrote: Que rico! Así se come! Bolio con tama dulce y cafécito

Gabriella commented next: I love it with Champurrado! You should try Tamal de Pińa!

Miles giggles, "Gabi said we should try the pineapple one. I think you'll like it. It's pretty good if you got it from someone that knows how to make tamales."

"I'm def, luv. I rarely hate anything, I just like to stick what I like sometimes." Hobie commented, he sips his drink, "I got myself a Sorrel!"

"Oh, I forgot to talk about your order!" Miles fake gasp, "So my husband order rice and peas with a side of Oxtails..." Hobie stop eating his Jamaican patty his head slowly turns to his boyfriend then his lips twisted to a big grin. "And he order fried plantains-" Hobie interrupted his boyfriend, "What?"

"What?" Miles asked pretending to be confused.

Hobie chuckles having a big smile on his face, "What you said?"

"I said I forgot to mention your order." He playfully said having a small shy smile.

His punker shook his head being playful, "Nooo, Sunflower. After that. What did you say?" His eyes gleaming, his whole body turning pinker than before.

"My husband." Miles giggles while answering his boyfriend question. That made the punker to get up being out of camera's view and jumps up and down.

"Yes! Yes! YES!" He shouted up with joy.

Miles smiles widely at the positive outlook of his boyfriend, what he did expect is his boyfriend came running to hug him and sweep him off his feet. "Say it, again?" Hobie happily carries his boyfriend in a koala hugging position, he kisses him on the cheek.

"My husband." Miles' face all flustered but he said it much louder and prouder tone.

Hobie gave his a nose nuzzle, "That's more like it." They happily kiss forgetting their lunch for the moment.

couldn’t decide which she’d like more, but she’s a huge fan of cutesy songs. i can also see her liking prom song gone wrong by lana del rey. (can u tell lana is my favourite?) anyway, she would bedazzle her record player with pink rhinestones and dance around her room to kali uchis. 

reiner- caramelldanssen, caramella girls.

you CANNOT change my mind. he’d try to overdose on crushed up jolly ranchers (someone scammed him, placebo affect go crazy) while laying face down on the carpet with this song in the background. someone asks him to hangout he’s like nah i’m busy today.. he’s just listening to this song while ugly crying about nothing in particular.

jean- maneater- nelly furtado

much like gabi, he’d probably say his favourite song is something like too many nights or big poppa.. but we all know this is what he’d listen to. that and promiscuous (also by nelly furtado. he’s a huge fan) yeah nobody believes him when he says a hip-hop/rap song.

falco- kidz bop version of ms.jackson. (that kidz pop song SPECIFICALLY.)

while other people are stanning loona or whatever artist he’s stanning kidz bop.. like a true alpha male. he’d also probably say shit like “fudge” instead of fuck and yell “language!!” when someone cusses. bless his heart.

i finished the ACTUAL novela a couple months back and it was so fun. it’s no wonder is a highly regarded classic. BUT THIS ??!!

sorry for the rant. this novela went from a cute, lighthearted story about family to… whatever this mess is. sure they talk about family but it doesn’t feel like they mean it. doesn’t even have the comedy bits the original had to help break the tension. of course, the original has some issues and some problematic jokes that wouldn’t have flown by today but i can forgive it as it’s in tune with the times (early 2000s)

also the THEME SONG ??!! i’m sorry but the song originally made sense . it was in tune with the story and now it’s not. this is a murder mystery. sure there’s romance but it literally took the backseat so it doesn’t even make sense anymore. and i don’t like the new version. it sounds bad T_T it just doesn’t fit

this season 2… none of the vibes fit anywhere. doesn’t even feel like the same show. they should’ve just not made season 2 but that’s just my opinion. or at the very least, they should’ve just made it a different version of the characters. kinda like the addams family or marvel / DC comics where we have the same characters, just different versions of them. that would’ve worked better to separate the two but nah. they wanted to continue it thus ruining everyone. it’s ugly ._.

for the people that are hating on others for having an opinion on a character or situation...people interpret things differently! not everyone will like a specific character, relationship, or situation. that's what makes the responses from readers so interesting.

i won't lie i honestly do not like lisa at all. i feel bad for her but the way she acted towards oc and the way she handled the situation with jk was absolutely weird as hell but that's my opinion. i just do not like her as a character. i don't blame jk for trying to move on whatsoever. i know he hates himself and has issues and stuff but that's not an excuse for treating oc the way he has. the way he treated her after the gaby situation leading up to the current situation in the story is very wrong. i know he doesn't think he deserves her but all he's doing is worse things to make that statement true. i hope we see him develop as a character and also develop in the relationship. oc isn't the most perfect character in the world but she's reasonable. she was also willing to make things work with jk after gaby told her the truth. i just want to see jk treat oc well, go after her, explain everything, and fight for their relationship. jk needs to step up because so far he really hasn't. and hopefully we see their relationship develop into something more positive and healthy. it would be really cute to see how jk treats and loves her in a relationship. i feel like he'd be all over her 😂

▪︎ I like to think that they're both protective over the other 💭 Maybe equally so, it's just a little hard to tell. Denji is more physically protective. He wants to make sure Gabi is safe!! Because he values her and doesn't like seeing her hurt. He isn't overwhelmingly protective, but if she's going somewhere? He's going too (so he can keep her safe !... and so he can spend time with her but shh)

□ Meanwhile, Gabi is protective in the more emotional sense. Ofc she's also protective in the physical sense, but moreso emotionally. She doesn't wanna see Denji hurt in a way that he can't drink blood and heal from. Looks out for him and steers him away from people who only wanna use him!! Gently reminds Denji that he's got people in his corner. Let's him know when someone is ... suspicious. Stuff like that! Or something idk it's like really late right now :3

▪︎ Denji is a better cook, but Gabi is the better baker. In situations where they live together, they'll take turns cooking, but Gabi will always make meals that she doesn't need to make from scratch, like salmon or whatever, whereas Denji would be fine with making things from scratch... sort of. He's definitely willing to learn, at the very least. Gabi? Not so much. She likes baking, though. Finds it easier than cooking, for some... odd reason.

▪︎ I've mentioned this before sometime in the past, but they definitely have promise rings. It's nothing serious, of course. Just an idea that Gabi played around with for a little while that started off as something silly (getting them silly spider rings from Party City) but soon developed into something with a little more merit (getting thin, gold bands). At first Denji wasn't really into it but I like to think he accepted it after a while 💭 And by "accept it" I mean he probably gets really petty when Gabi takes hers off to do something.

"Does that thing mean NOTHING to you?!" And she's just trying to put on some gloves to season some meat or smthn💀

▪︎ Gabi acts as Denji's impulse control. Goes "Hey, let's think about this for a moment!!" When she sees Denji about to make a not so smart decision. She doesn't dictate what he does, she let's him do what he wants at the end of the day. She doesn't like being controlling, and wants Denji to be able to make decisions for himself. But she does let him know when something doesn't seem like such a good idea.

She will, however, put her foot down if he tries to eat raw meat. Or trash. Or something that fell on the floor.

"Put. That. DOWNN."

She's serious when it comes to his health. Will let most things slide w/ his decision making unless it'd directly harm him (eating.. tidepod for $5)

▪︎ Denji sometimes has to squeeze Gabi just to confirm that she's real. Gives her a hug and holds on tightly. Squeezes her hand. Stares at her for a bit before smooshing her face. Yknow. Just to make sure.

▪︎ They're both like.... really jealous people. Sort of ties in to the protective thing mentioned earlier, but Denji's the type of guy to side eye a dude if he's talking with Gabi. It's usually just a feeling of " >:/" because guys don't really approach Gabi and Gabi is ... not a very big fan of speaking with others in general. But sometimes when he feels like there's some ulterior motive behind an interaction, he starts to get more obviously jealous. Definitely whines to Gabi afterwards about how that guy was "totally checking [Gabi] out" and how he didn't like that guy .. He was just asking Gabi for some directions </3

□ Gabi gets jealous easily, but it usually doesn't really bother her. I'd always imagine that, while Denji is insanely loyal, he's still very partial and bias for women. He won't beg for attention from girls, but like ... yk. Ykk. He'll act as a chair for girls, or he'll do things for them if they ask, and Gabi will sometimes be a little iffy about it, but she's got enough trust in Denji not to get too upset. It's really a 50/50% chance if she does something if a girl is like... actively flirting with Denji, though. Sometimes it makes Gabi uncomfy to the point where she's awkwardly standing there, mentally going "who tf ..??", but sometimes Gabi will be petty and not so subtly drop hints indicating that she's his s/o and that things are pretty closed. (Both of their jealousy issues probably stem from .. like.. GENUINE issues tbh but I can't think of what those are rn)

▪︎ As nice as Gabi finds it that Denji would like to help her with her hair, she does NOT let Denji in her head. He wants to play with her hair? Sure, fair game as long as he's careful about it! But she'd rather not let him help her wash her hair out, nor does she want him styling her hair. She knows he'd be willing to learn, but had decided to make the executive decision to. Not let him.

□ Gabi LOVES being in Denji's hair, though. Likes playing with it, running her fingers through it, washing it for Denji. Despite the hypocrisy, he let's her do it with minimal complaints (but the complaints aren't complaints, just him whining that he wants to do her hair too)

▪︎ I like to think that they take baths together 💭 Not all the time because Gabi prefers showers (and she takes them alone) but sometimes they'll hop into the tub for some bubble bath time. I'd imagine that they'd help each other wash off 💭💭 also. Prime time for Gabi to wash Denji's hair for him :3c Although ... Gabi probably did try and drown Denji once but it's okay she was j playing ☆

▪︎ Denji is sort of into Sonic, but only because of Gabi. She's the one whose super into it. In a modern timeline, Gabi forced Denji to watch her play Frontiers (he had to comfort her when she sobbed over the ending. He didn't get why she was crying so hard though </3)

▪︎ Gabi and Denji usually live separately, but want to move in together. But to be honest? They might as well be considered actual roommates considering how much Gabi comes over to Denji's place 💀 Like you sleep, eat, and just chill at his place atp you might as well pack your bags and stay there (lowkey it's because of the dogs. She loves em!! But there's alot of them and unfortunately Gabi is much more of a cat person </3)

▪︎ In instances where Gabi's debut is in part one, their first ever date was a dinner date ♡♡ They prepped and ate Makima btw (delicious)

There's.. MORE about them in my brain but I don't wanna ramble </3 Also my brain is fried !!! Because I haven't eaten yet so my hungry brain is kinda. pffttt. Yk?

I’m on a deadline today so I need to keep this one short. Fortunately, very little happened in this particular episode so that should be easy!

First, Xander comes home to the plastic surgery monster Chloe with an anniversary gift.

It’s a dart board.

These two began hooking up some months ago (exactly three, according to this very episode) when they were both in the Brady pub and Chloe accidentally threw a dart directly into Xander’s chest. As meet-cutes go, it wasn’t bad (I think I have a soft spot for love stories that start with a  trip to the emergency room) and this was a fine way to commemorate it.

Then they place a foreplay-based wager on a game of darts which ends, as you might expect, with them having sex on the couch.

(They always have sex on the couch because I’m certain they haven’t built bedroom sets for either of these characters.)

Next, there’s yet another tiresome series of scenes featuring Bonnie and Maggie (Justin is also here, but pretty much just in a “wincing awkwardly off to the side” capacity), in which Bonnie almost tells Maggie that Maggie’s daughter Sarah is pregnant. 

I like all of these characters. I don’t even mind some goofy sitcom shenanigans in my soap. But if they’re just going to do this for nine months to remind us that Sarah’s pregnant while keeping her mostly offscreen so she can dramatically return when the baby is born…

…okay, that’s actually kind of clever. Definitely better than just periodically saying “as you know, Sarah is still pregnant.”

Speaking of sitcom shenanigans, the promise of Alex living across the hall from Chad and Stephanie pays off immediately as a shirtless Alex shows up at their door like so much Kramer.

Though I dare say, in a contest of “who wore no shirt better?” I think Alex wins.

Alex heard that July on Days means two things: waving a gun around and/or walking around topless. So Alex opted for the more flattering of the two gun shows. Chad is not impressed.

It turns out Alex’s apartment doesn’t have hot water, so he wheedles his way into Chaphanie’s shower. And then into Chad’s robe.

Then he sees they’re having Chinese food for dinner and invites himself to stay and eat.

This initially struck me as uncharacteristically boorish behavior — Alex does have a strong bro vibe, but the show has also gone to great lengths to show that he’s better than that and constantly trying to improve. Then I realized that he’s probably doing all of this on purpose. Back when he was with Stephanie, Chad was constantly interjecting himself into situations in which busy was about to be gotten. I think this is just some sweet payback on Alex’s part. Honestly though, either interpretation (revenge or cluelessness) is pretty funny.

Meanwhile, Stefan admonishes Gabi for her latest risk-taking (waving a gun at Li.)

And eventually she agrees never to do anything like that again… without bringing him with her.

After all, you know what they say: “two guns are better than one, and not wearing a shirt also figures into this equation somehow!”

Speaking of shirtless, here’s Li again. Okay, he was shirtless last time we saw him, but now he’s all dressed up for his date. You’re right to scoff, Melinda. This guy’s pretty but he’s a criminal. And not even the fun kind like Kristen or Xander. He also continues to be just the worst actor in this entire ensemble and it’s so incredibly painful to watch him share scenes with Trask, who is right on the cusp of being one of those “background characters who comes to the foreground because we like the performer so much.”

Like… she sees the wine Li has ordered (and please ignore the obvious fact that this label was hastily thrown together and printed out in the props office five minutes before they started rolling)...

…and segues into a genuinely wistful monologue about a trip she took to wine country just after law school.

The text itself is slightly better than usual for this show, and Tina Huang (the woman who plays Trask) really sells the Proust-like journey to a simpler and more hopeful time in her life. (Okay, I’m not sure if it’s actually Proust-like at all. That’s one of the few classic literary references I know and I only know it because of Monty Python.)

And while she’s doing all that, she just gets… nothing.

And the worst part of it all? She’s probably going to go home with this boob! And he’ll probably touch her boob! Maybe both of them!

I don’t love Melinda Trask’s George W. Bush-like trampling of people’s basic constitutional rights. (Honestly, I have a feeling she’s going to love working with the new Acting Mayor.) But even in light of that, she deserves better than this soggy bath mat of a scene partner.

Gabi's eyebrows tick upwards. There was no shortage of charming smiles from him, he'd made every effort to be a welcoming host the second her and Selene had crossed through the doorway.

But it was another thing to believe it— that Matty, with eyes like warm onyx, polished and perfect, who outshone everyone else in the penthouse with his smile alone — was interested in her like that.

At least at first. She felt that inkling seep into her when they'd held hands navigating the crowds of the party. Innocent enough, but it was a very physical thing, very sweet. And the way he promised not to leave her side. And the way he'd placed the tab on her tongue, eye contact crackling like a log falling in a fire— intimate, and she knew then he wasn't just hanging around to make Selene's best friend feel welcome.

'It's not really a secret I had to give away…'

"Maybe ... a girl just enjoys hearing it aloud."

Gabi hums at that, hums again at the alleged unfairness of this deal.

'What were you saying about my cute smile? My perfect hair?'

When Matty reaches for her hands, covers them with his own and brings them to rest upon her own hips, she watches fiercely, brows furrowed slightly. The back and forth. The touch. She was wholly absorbed in the moment, no longer wondering idly about Selene, about what emails she might have to send the next day.

"I wasn't saying." Gabi corrects.

"I wasn't saying anything about either of those things. Or... anything about your dimples... which are a very nice incentive to get you to smile." She gives a drawn-out sort of hum. "I didn't mention that I'm trying hard to keep my eyes on your face only."

Who said that! It hadn't been Gabi, obviously, because despite the jungle juice, despite the euphoric cloud this molly was carrying her on, she was trying to behave.

She really didn't need to tell Matty that she thought his abdomen was cut from marble, or that his neck was elegantly shaped in a way that would make an Armani model blush.

"I didn't say any of that, obviously, cause I can't let my guard down in case you dunk me again."

There's a little inhale. A biting of her lip, something sly and determined settling into her features. No, he wouldn't disarm her so easily! Matty wouldn't get her gazing into his eyes, looking at the depth of them, the warmth, the way the glow of the pool casts an aquamarine light against his brow. He wouldn't get he thinking about just how good he looks.

Gabi flexes her hands underneath Matty's, just for the sensation of it.

Gabi was laughing, smiling, looking very proud of herself. She was pulling away from him, but Matty couldn't help the gravity that pulled him toward her. He followed along. She sunk nearly beneath the water, smiling at him.

"You know I think you're cute," Matt replied. "It's not really a secret I had to give away…"

She closed the space beneath them slightly.

"Like I would never reveal to you that I think you have a really cute smile. Orrrr that you've got perfect hair."

Her admission (or non-admission) was encouragement that this was all working. The flirting was reciprocated. They were both interested.

"Seems kind of like an unfair deal. I'm over here calling you cute, and you're just … listing off the things you won't reveal."

Matt braced himself for the small splash of water that headed in his direction.

"We're gonna have to do something about these hands of yours," Matty warned. "They keep splashing me."

He pushed forward, found both of her hands beneath the water. He placed both of their hands over her waist, with Matty's on top.

"There. Now. What were you saying about my cute smile? My perfect hair?"

I suspected her at first. I mean, everyone knew who Captain Levi Ackerman was. Even with all his scars, he was still very recognisable.

Levi took me and Falco in, he looked after us and cared for us even though he was badly hurt. We took care of him to show our thanks. He gave us our lives back. He gave us freedom and most of all he gave us parental love.

We stayed with Levi as he healed. We kept him thinking positively to the point where he wanted to go out places by himself. He'd come back smelling of tea and baked things. He was blushing a little and seemed really happy. His blush turned to smiles and wearing his best things. He then started working and not being home much.

When he started walking using a cane instead of using a wheelchair, it took me and Falco off guard. It shocked us that he had this spring in his step. We asked him and he just said he found a passion. We thought it was a job, but it turned out to be a person.

The first time I met her, I thought she was really pretty and kind. Levi was very smitten with her, that was so clear to see, which is why I suspected things. Levi was so in love that he might have become blind to any bad things. So, I started looking not because I didn't like her, but because I wanted to protect Levi.

Falco never supported my suspicion and told me to just let Levi be happy, but I needed to make sure that he wouldn't get hurt again. I owe him my life so I have to make sure he has a good life.

I followed her without her knowing. I saw she ran a teashop and had a bakery section. I thought maybe she dated Levi so his fame could bring more customers in, but I tried her baking and tea and knew she didn't need to use Levi's fame at all. She's an incredible baker.

I started to follow her outside her shop and thought maybe she was bad behind closed doors, but I was wrong. All baked things that she didn't sell she would give to those in need. She cared about others and asked for nothing in return.

I watched how she was with Levi too. She was so kind to him and didn't treat him like some child or weakling. She acted normally around him and was caring. She was so patient and laughed at all his jokes. She helped him out only when he asked for it. She never made him feel weak.

She knew nothing about Levi and his time in the scouts. She fell for Levi for who he is and not what he was. She truly loves him for everything he is. She always came around the house and the more she was, the more Falco suggested we move out and have our own home. I didn't want to leave Levi, but I understood.

The first night she slept over was the first time I'd ever seen Levi have a spring in his step. He was so cuddly with her and it was cute to see. I began to understand I needed to let go of Levi and let him have his first romance. Plus, Falco and I were getting closer as a couple.

Moving out was hard, but I knew that I was leaving Levi in good hands. They are perfect for each other, they truly are. I would visit every weekend and the house was warm, welcoming and full of love. It was just magical to see such joy oozing from Levi.

The day Levi asked for help with how to propose was so beautiful. We helped him pick out an engagement ring, plan the date and what to do. Hearing that she said yes was the best thing in the world. It wasn't long before the wedding came around. Falco and I gave Levi away and watched with pride as the closest thing to a dad we had married the woman of his dreams.

What is wild to me is how she became a mother to Falco and me. She was always there for us and helped us out as much as possible. She baked our wedding cake for our wedding and it was the best thing I'd ever tasted. It was incredible and my love for you both has never been stronger.

When Levi told us that there was a baby on the way, it made us cry. It was wonderful news that something so beautiful was going to be welcomed into this world. I cannot wait to meet the little one. I really can't.

✩ levi cleans up for you and ruins your organization. it’s always a blessing when someone else decides to take on the burden of cleaning for you, and you thought you hit the jackpot with a boyfriend who loved to clean, clean, clean. but it could get annoying when you suddenly couldn’t find anything you placed anywhere. if you’re anything like me, you’re messy but organized. you know where things are. when levi comes to clean, he places things where he thinks they should go. you’re sent on a wild goose chase looking for your pencil case, only for it to be in a completely different drawer than the one you usually kept it in. despite this behavior, it’s always nice to come home from a long day from school to see your desk organized. what was once a mess of papers and other supplies have been filed into their correct places, the table wiped down from any lingering coffee stains and your supplies being organized in a way so you knew where everything was. sometimes there’d be a plate of fruit with the note, “good luck on your exams,” written in your boyfriends neat writing beside it.

✩ zeke forces you to work out with him. and it’s not like in the afternoon to help you stretch out. it’s not light yoga or a couple minutes on the treadmill. no, this man wakes you up at ass crack in the morning to take you on a 5 mile hiking trip. you barely have any time to register what is happening around you before you’re already standing at the start of the trail with your gear. “come on! we can’t slack off!” he says, clapping his hands together. the sun is beating down on you and your feet hurt, but this man doesn’t let you stop for a break. “we’re almost there,” he says. your complaining goes out the window when he shows you the view at the top. its one of the most beautiful things you’ve ever seen. hiking up long ass trails to see beautiful views with your boyfriend was so worth it in the end.

✩ colt accidentally turns your dates into babysitting sessions. you show up at his house with the promise of a good time, only to be met with a guilty looking colt and his little brother falco behind him. “sorry,” he says sheepishly, “gabi got sick with the cold, so i couldn’t drop him off there. i hope you don’t mind him staying.” you hide your disappointment behind a wide smile, nodding enthusiastically as to not hurt either of their feelings. you just wanted to spend some alone time with your boyfriend, and it would have to wait. hanging out with falco wasn’t actually that bad. the three of you had an amazing time together, watching tv, playing games and even baking together. if you hate kids, you can’t bring yourself to hate falco; he’s just the sweetest boy you’ve ever met. you and falco are already asking colt when the three of you can hang out again when you have to go back home.

✩ hanji is always talking. you don’t discourage them from talking about their interests. they’re very passionate about the things they love, and can’t help talking about them. its like the scene where hanji kept eren up all night talking about titans. when you’re trying to focus on something or go to sleep, hanji is just yapping away. you’re honestly amazed at their ability to never run out of things to say about the most mundane things. hell, one time they talked for an hour and a half about a building color they saw when they were out one day. but hanji just looked so happy when talking. their face would break out into a huge grin, and their arms would fly around as they told their story. it was too cute for you to tell them to stop.

✩ mikasa hovers too much. every corner you turn, every place you go to, mikasa is following. she claims she’s not clingy, but in reality she is. it’s like a cat who hates affection, but needs to be in the same room as you at all times. you don’t mind her following you into the bedroom or living room or kitchen. you had to draw a line when she tried to follow you into the bathroom. even when you’re out, she’s always following you around. you tell her it’s okay to break off from you and spend some time by herself, but she always shakes her head and follows you to your next destination. you’re always grateful for her hovering when a group of drunk people try hitting on you, whistling and telling you they’ll give you a good time. but one look at your girlfriend who showed up from out of nowhere, and they’re running away with their tails between their legs.

✩ sasha eats your food. she can’t help it. she likes to snack. she’s always hungry. and you get that. to stop things like this from happening, you have separate places to keep your food. just so sasha and you have your favorite snacks and takeout separated. you respect the rule, but your girlfriend seems to lose her reading skills when hungry, one too many times you have walked in on her with her hand deep into a bag of your chips, something you’ve been waiting to eat all week when you were supposed to watch that new horror movie on netflix with her. you huff and puff and retreat to your bedroom. sasha comes back after a few hours, looking upset with tons and tons of snacks in her arms. “i’m sorry i ate your chips,” she frowns. she sets down all the food she got on your bed. “i got all these snacks you liked as an apology. and 3 bags of your favorite chips.” you could never stay mad at her cute face.

✩ annie complains about spending time with you. “i like my alone time,” she says, brushing you off when you asked why she didn’t want to watch a movie with you. some people were introverted, preferring to spend time by themselves rather than with someone else. you were like that too; you had your moments where you didn’t feel like being around your girlfriend. but it became an annoying problem when she constantly shot down your attempts to hang out with you. when she finally agrees, she’s always finding something to complain about. but during important dates or when you’re not in the best mood, she’s always the first to remind you or initiate a hang out/date. she shuts her mouth and enjoys her time with you, not one criticism or groan leaving her lips. she would never admit it, but being around you made her so happy.

✩ pieck is always sleeping. you have to wait a few hours to get a text or call back from pieck because she’s always dozing off somewhere. “sorry sweets,” she yawns into the mic, “was taking a nap. need something?” good luck trying to reach your girlfriend during an emergency. when you come home with takeout for dinner because neither of you wanted to cook, she’s sleeping at the dinner table. when you’re watching a movie she wanted to watch, she’s snoring away, curled up at the end of the couch. during lectures you share together, she has her head in her arms and has the audacity to ask you for your notes in the end. and it’s not like she’s not getting enough sleep, no. she gets her recommended 8 hours of sleep and then some. it’s nice to have a sleepy girlfriend, though, when you’re dead tired from living. you drag your feet into the bedroom to see her about to take her nth nap for the day. she notices your zombie-like state and opens up her arms for you. the two of you cuddle and nap together, sleeping the stress away.

You softies seemed to enjoy Dad!Levi and I can't blame you for that. My man deserves the world and some damn peace. So here is another cute Dad!Levi kinda x Reader situation. You are not mentioned much. It's more like a moment between him and your child. Spoilers ahead since the fic will take place post-war! I warned you. Warnings: slightest mention of war, talking about scars

It was a Monday afternoon. Heavy clouds hid the vibrating blue of the sky, while a harsh wind whipped over the landscape. The temperatures dropped rapidly, although Levi didn't mind. Rain used to be something that reminded him of death and loss, but since his daughter came into this world those memories were replaced with fond ones. Isabel was born during a stormy night. He still remembered the commotion outside perfectly matching the raging storm inside of him. He also recalls you screaming in sync with the thunder. It was almost comedic. When your sweet baby finally arrived, it seemed like the storm was forgotten. All those excruciating images of war vanished when he looked at Isabel's face for the first time. As years passed it became a ritual for Levi and his daughter to spend rainy afternoons together. Filling his mind with more lovely things to associate with clouded skies. Today was no different. Since the ex-captains teashop, who he had been running for a while now, was closed on Mondays, he was able to spend time with his baby girl. Levi and Isabel were enjoying each other's company in the living room. The lit fireplace, painting the room in a cozy light, while it provided a harsh contrast to the greyscale of the world outside. The four-year-old was lying on the floor, drawing, while her father read a book on the sofa. Two cups of tea standing on the mahogany coffee table, one being tinier than the other. Levi bought a little teacup just for his daughter with elegant flower patterns engraved on the white porcelain. It seemed weird for outsiders, that they weren't exactly interacting, but this was a place of serenity for both of them. Isabel had been without a doubt a daddy's girl since day one. With extreme focus, the kid tried to portrait her family, consisting of you, Levi, Gabi, and Falco. She always aimed for perfection despite being this young. With a sheepish glare, the little artist eyed her father every minute to portrait him as precisely as she could. "Daddy?" she casually asked while fixating her gaze on the piece of paper again. Levi hummed in response but kept reading. "How come you have those things on your face and I don't?" Only the outspokenness of a child would allow such question. Her father peeled his eyes off his book and rose an eyebrow. "You mean my scars?" Isabel nodded. After all this time he still wasn't very fond of talking about his injuries, but how could he be mad at his angel? She didn't know any better, being blessed with sweet innocence. He was beyond thankful that his daughter didn't get the concept of war, since she never experienced one. Still, Levi felt a knot forming in his stomach while trying to keep a cool deminer. "Well, you know I was a soldier long before you were born, right?" The tiny girl nodded again, now looking up from her artwork. She propped her head on her hands and stared at her father, full of expectations. "Grown-Ups can be very childish sometimes. Especially those who fight in a war. They use their hands instead of words to settle an argument." Isabel's brows furrowed. She wasn't quite sure what this had to do with her question. Levi kept talking anyway. "Back then, I was also one of those people. I fought with a guy named Zeke. We were both so angry that neither of us was thinking straight." His voice became more erratic while talking. At this point, Isabel sat up completely hooked on the story. Her e/c eyes grew even bigger than they already were. "So Zeke and I wanted nothing more but to hurt one another. Unfortunately, we managed to do so quite a lot. After a lot of senseless quarrels, we both ended up in an explosion. This left me with some nasty injuries." Levi made a swift hand motion around his body marked by war, to underline his statement. "But luckily Hange stitched me up and now I am as good as new." Of course, Isabel never met Hange, since they passed away. But you made sure to tell your child all kinds of stories about them, honoring the 14th commander of the Survey Corps. So your daughter was aware of who Levi was talking about.

The raven-haired girl was quiet for a long time, comprehending what she had just been told. Levi was scared that he told her too much and traumatized his precious baby. After what seemed like an eternity to the poor man she simply stated, "I really don't know who Zeke is, but you guys should hug and say sorry." A whole-hearted laugh escaped the ex-captains lips, something only his daughter and girlfriend managed to bring out of him. Isabel let her head fall to the side, scrutinizing Levi. She didn't understand what was so funny to him. "You are right, maybe hugging would have solved some problems." Levi agreed, reaching for his cup of tea. While he did so his daughter stood up and clumsily crawled on the sofa next to him, still not taking her gaze off his face. "Daddy?" she asked again. If Levi had a dime for every time she used this word, he would be able to afford a private island by now. As he took a sip of the hot liquid he waved his hand to encourage her to talk. "I am glad you have scars because I think you look awesome this way. The other kids at kindergarten agree with me," she stated in the most serious tone like she hasn't just said something slightly weird. Levi smiled against the delicate porcelain of the cup. "Happy to hear that those brats like my appearance," he answered casually. Isabel furrowed her brows. "Mommy said you are not allowed to call anyone brats! That's not nice!" An amused scoff was heard from the adult. "Are you the language police or something? Your mother can't tell me shit." Levi never sugar-coated his words, not even around his child. "But last time she caught you using naughty words, you were afraid of her!" Isabel exclaimed, giggling softly. In response, Levi grabbed his daughter and started tickling her "Stop being such a smart-ass, Missy!" The stoic man also started to chuckle in a very untypical manner. If someone from his old squad would see him right now, they wouldn't believe their eyes. Isabel squirmed in his arms, now fully bursting into a fit of laughter. As you opened the front door of your lived-in home, you heard the commotion and smiled to yourself. Who would have thought that humanity's strongest soldier was a big softie after all?

Just ignore me, obsessing over my headcanon where Levi bought his daughter a tiny teacup. :') When did I become so soft?

This volume was EVERYTHING AND MORE!!! Was definitely worth all the drama we’ve been dealing with for the last few weeks.

1.) Finn is just dirty! Yes Suresh cheated, but Suresh has always admitted that he was wrong and made it known he wanted us back. Finn is a flip flopper who wants what he can’t have. He is in a couple with Kat, knows how she feels about him and he still is trying to get some from MC? I definitely hosed him down with cold water for that! Kat still wants you after the embarrassment you continuously put her through, shame. the Finn storyline had potential I saw where they were going with him but then week two of Finny I was like NAUR this man won't ever actually claim MC and he has a TERRIBLE pattern of it and look EVEN NOW, last week and he STILL hasn't claimed MC. he's waiting for her to do it. ALFIE...here's what irks me about him. I gave him a shot pre-casa (I always knew I was going to be with Suresh, but your girl was bored) and yes I did kiss Suresh but he never ONCE let me explain myself, he never actually really gave us the truth about him and Kat (who initiated, what they discussed) if he actually truly liked us, we shouldve been able to sort through those issues and discussed them. I couldve even dismissed the fact the he brought meera back from casa, if after he came back if he was all about MC right after.
