oh boy oh boy is it the end of august already here we effin' goooooooo

1. Write 250 Words Each Day I did not do this. But I did write a lot. I wrote at least weekly. And each time I wrote I wrote a SIGNIFICANT amount of text. So I wrote MORE than the equivalent of 250 words each day. So maybe that's all right. I did a bunch of work on a couple fics, lots of free writing, and some other stuff too. Plus like… the cover letters and shit I worked on. So!! A hefty stack of writing, if not a daily habit. I can do better, but I don't feel too bad, you know? 2. Read 55 Books This Year So this month I read 20 books. Two of those were re-reads of books that I already read this year, so they do not count toward my final total. So what is my current total at for the year? ONE HUNDRED FIFTEEN!!!!!! I have read over 100 books this year and I do not think I will stop there!! This friggin RULES, man!! This is like… my ultimate goal from five years ago finally realized! After this year, I can stop setting numbers to reach and just relax from here on out and just read whatever! I do, of course, still intend to read a lot. And I will still make lists and count them. But my goals will no longer be sheer quantity. After all, I beat this year's goal AND 2015's goal. That's pretty damn good if I do say so myself, which I do, because I'm saying it right now.

3. Get A Full Time Job I applied to 27 jobs this month. I had one interview. I did not get that job. I got an email from one job saying that they are considering my resume past the first round, so that is good news. But the REAL good news is that I just got an email today. Like not long ago, a few hours ago, that's what I mean. It seems that the bookstore I worked at before getting laid off due to the plague has an opening again and they wondered if I wanted it. It's only 11 an hour, and it's still retail, blah blah blah you heard all these hesitations before when they hired me the first time. But I'm working part time at 12 dollars an hour for a very inconsistent number of hours. And this WILL have benefits. And I will be able to save up, AND I will still keep job hunting for something better. But to be honest? This counts. It's not official yet, but I might just have a full time job. Again.

4. Move Out Well, I did not. And I probably won't be out of here by the time I'm thirty (19 days??? Is that right? 19 or 20. Counting days is specifically a challenge for me). But I will have a full time job. Be saving up. Which I have already started saving up a fair amount now that I finally have gotten paid the unemployment that I applied for over the last four months. So. I guess I'm working on it. If I get a different full time job, I will be able to work on it even more. But a full time job of any kind is an important first step and hey I'm taking that step again.

5. Drink Less Soda Yep. 6. Get Something Published No new publications this month, but I applied for another fanzine and I feel pretty confident that I'll get in. Also I found a place that accepts unsolicited manuscripts, so I am working on a collection of my poetry. We will see how that goes!

7. Finish Writing A Legitimate Businessman Finished in April! 8. Write More The Revelation of Takaya According to Jin Finished in February!

MINOR GOALS 9. Finish Playthroughs -The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild: Finished in January! -Persona 1 Main Quest Good Ending: Didn't do anything! -Pokemon Sword Post Game Plot: Finished in March! -Pokemon Let's Go Eevee: Finished in February and March!

-Persona Q 2: Finished it this month! It sure would be a good game if it wasn't rated M. If it were rated appropriate for teenagers, then I could forgive the easier puzzles and the hamfisted moral and the complete lack of any horror or moral controversy. But nope, still rated M. Meh. I bet it'll be better whenever I decide to do New Game Plus and actually do all the side quests.

10. Record More Ukulele Videos I did not. 11. Record Let's Plays I did not. I might, however, do so if I visit my friend in Johnson Creek. We shall see. 12. Duolingo? It's going okay. I'm in the amethyst league now but I'm not making a lot of progress progress. 234 streak and 236 crowns. That's pretty okay.

This wasn't even 900 words. I will have to write more tonight but come on I'm just pretty tired. It's fine.

Listen To The Distant Thunder...

Kabu strummed his guitar quietly as he watched the clouds gathering on the dark horizon, leaning back against the tree behind him. Nanu sat with his head resting on Kabu’s shoulder, his eyes closed, just taking in the sound, heart aching.

“And if the music stops There's only the sound of the rain All the hope and glory All the sacrifice in vain,”

The first drops of rain began to fall, the two young men mostly staying dry under the leaves of the tree, the deep rumbling of thunder like a drumroll in the distance.

“And if love remains Though everything is lost We will pay the price But we will not count the cost...”

Nanu’s last night in Hoenn before going on to Alola for his new job, and it was starting to rain. He wanted to believe, something, somewhere, had a cruel sense of irony, as drops plinked down onto the polished wood, tears that fell just like the rain. They listened to the distant thunder as the strumming of the guitar fell away to silence.

Word had started to spread across Galar of the two young children who Rose left behind, and although Bede was used to being in the spotlight and handling paparazzi and questions and fans and chaos, Kabu was doing everything he could to keep it all away from Basil. The damn leeches were everywhere, it was almost impossible to avoid them, and once they realized he was also housing Cyrus, a known criminal... It was only going to get worse as time went on.

Cyrus didn’t seem as bothered by them, and had scared most of them with his delightfully dark and deadpan humor that they mostly stayed away if he was out and about. His two “friends”, as he called them, started coming around more and more as Cyrus started to heal, and once he was able to move around mostly out of his wheelchair, they began to join Basil with his lessons.

They started with simple things, basic reading, writing, arithmetic, and Cyrus couldn’t help but be impressed with how smart the kid was.

“Rose made me attend lessons.” Was his defense, though he sounded less than thrilled by that fact. He wasn’t thrilled with having class now, either.

Having Lincoln around helped, especially as they taught him sign language, and the more Basil absorbed, the more fun he had with it, as Lincoln was quite talkative when he wanted to be and Basil was thrilled to have someone other than Cyrus and Kabu to talk to.

Cyan mostly sat quietly in the corner, sketchbook in his lap, doodling idly and looking uncomfortable around everyone. Basil had taken a dislike to Cyan but an interest in his sketchbook, so he’d sit as far away as he could while still being able to watch him draw, squinting nosily until Cyan would gesture for him to come over and get a better look. Sometimes, if he was in a good mood, he’d show Basil how he drew something, or explain a little about his art, but normally he was quiet, closed off, just wanting to have alone time with Lincoln and Cyrus.

Basil, however, wanted to be anywhere but in a lesson. He would much rather be running around, training his Pokemon and exploring, and Cyrus knew this. He did what he could to make the lessons interesting, but he could only do so much.

“How come you don’t have any Pokemon?”

Cyrus had been ignoring the hand in the air for five minutes now, he could tell that Basil’s question did not pertain to the lesson.

“That is irrelevant.”

“Do you have pokemon? Do they not like you? How come you never have them out? Do your friends have Pokemon? Can I see them?”

Cyrus groaned. “Focus on your lesson, please. Pokemon have nothing to do with your homework.”

Basil crossed his arms. “I can’t focus anyway so you might as well just answer the questions.” He smarted off with a smirk.

“No, I don’t have any Pokemon. You don’t get to keep your Pokemon after you get arrested for trying to bring an end to the world as we know it. I don’t know if they liked me or not, that is their business and it doesn’t matter anymore anyway. Lincoln does have Pokemon, I don’t know if he’ll let you see them that will be up to him.” He snapped bitterly. “Can we continue with the lesson now?”

Basil frowned at that, and let Whisper out of his ball, cuddling the Meowth close. He couldn’t imagine being separated from his pokemon.

“I’m sorry Mr. Cyrus… do you want to hold Whisper for a while?”

“No I do not want to hold Whisper for a while. I want you to finish this equation.”

Basil dropped the cat pokemon in Cyrus’s lap anyway, before leaning over and getting back to work.

Cyrus growled, annoyed that he wasn’t being listened to, however the Meowth was very warm and very sweet, and he couldn’t help reaching over to give it a pat every so often.

If only for Basil’s sake. He wasn’t doing it for himself, of course.

“You should bring an umbrella with you, there’s rain coming…” Kabu followed Cyrus to the door.

“It’ll be fine, a little rain never hurt anyone.” He assured the older man, leaning on his cane as he rushed off to take a walk with Cyan and Lincoln.

“Bye Kabu see you later!” Basil rushed past, almost making it by before Kabu wrapped him in a hug and pulled him back inside.

“Now where do you think you’re going?” He teased.

Basil squeaked and giggled. “Hop and I are going to Circhester to have a snowball fight! Let goooo!”

He let Basil go, smirking. “Alright, just be safe. It’s supposed to storm and I want you home before that happens!” He called after him.

“Okaaaaaaaaay bye!”

Basil stopped to say hello to Cyan and Lincoln before disappearing down the road.

Kabu watched them and smiled, closing his eyes and taking a deep breath, taking in the scent of rain yet to come. He was so proud of how far the two of them had come, Cyrus could move around pretty freely with the help of a mobility aid, and Basil only needed his cane on bad days. The doctors told him they expected him to make a full recovery, though it was close, any more injuries and things could have been much worse.

He felt… at peace. He couldn’t remember the last time things felt so right. For once, everything was going his way. He was happy.

“Lincoln, wait up! I’m old, I can’t run that fast!” Cyrus called, smiling. Lincoln was running back and forth through the trees, chasing his Spinarak and giggling.

“He hasn’t looked this happy in months…” Cyan mused. “You haven’t looked this happy in… well ever.” He had his hand on Cyrus’s shoulder, an old habit, to keep him steady.

“I haven’t felt this happy in well ever.” He responded, sounding almost surprised. “I don’t know how to describe it. I feel… good.”

“You look good.” Cyan pecked his cheek. “I’m so proud of you.”

“Bean! Get down from there!” Lincoln was hanging upside down from the branches of a tree, spinarak dangling beside him. “You’re going to fall and bust your noggin!”

Cyan laughed. “This is as good a spot to set up camp as any, hm? Are you sure you want to have our picnic out here? We can go somewhere where you don’t have to sit on the ground…”

Cyrus waved the thought away. “No, no, I want this. I want to be out here with you. And this will make Lincoln happy too.” He groaned and tried to sit down, letting Cyan guide him down the rest of the way with a grunt. “There. See? I’m fine.”

Lincoln plopped down from the tree and sat beside him happily. “Are you going to catch any Pokemon today?” He signed excitedly. “It’d be good for you to have a companion!”

“I don’t know, Bean… I don’t deserve a pokemon after what I did. And besides, the old man would just take it away from me if he found it. He doesn’t trust me further than he can throw me, and I’m pretty sure he’d throw out his back just trying to lift me.” He smirked, and Lincoln snickered behind his hands.

“You keep saying that but that isn’t true you know.” Cyan noted. “Like it or not he does trust you. He wouldn’t let you teach his son if he didn’t trust you, you’ve seen how protective he gets. And he’s done wonders for your back, too.”

Cyrus couldn’t deny that.

The three of them ate in silence, just enjoying nature and happy with the company. It was nice to have time together, just the three of them, and they didn’t want to waste the time with idle chit-chat. Eventually, Cyrus made them pack it up.

“The wind’s getting strong, we better get back before we get blown away.”

They made quick work of packing their meal and helped Cyrus to his feet, staying much closer to him on the way back, noting how much slower he was moving.

Cyan kicked himself for not thinking to bring the wheelchair with them.

On the way back, Lincoln stopped suddenly, grabbing Cyrus’s sleeve and tugging urgently, pointing to a patch of tall grass.

“What? What is it, Bean?”

The three of them paused then, watching as the grass quivered, something zigzagging through it haphazardly. Finally, the mysterious creature emerged.

“Oh, Arceus…”

Standing before them, looking dizzy and confused, was the cutest, fluffiest Eevee that any of them had ever seen. It’s fur covered it’s eyes, and it shook it’s head trying to clear them, before catching sight of it’s tail and chasing it a few more round, plopping over on it’s face when it got too dizzy.

“That’s the most pathetic thing I’ve ever seen in my life…” Cyan covered his cheeks with his hands.

Cyrus groaned and crouched down to get a better look. “Come here cute thing…” It started to wobble it’s way over to him.

More rustling was heard, and suddenly a second Eevee flew past the first like a zubat out of hell, knocking it over before latching onto Cyan’s boot, gnawing and growling.

“Hey! Get offa me you little ankle biter!” He tried to nudge it away but it was determined to make an example of the shoe, however its tiny teeth weren’t doing much of anything.

“Catch it catch it!” Lincoln signed excitedly.

“What? No way, it’s vicious!”

Cyrus reached out to brush the fur from the fluffy Eevee’s eyes, but was met with a fingerfull of needle like teeth. “Ow!” He didn’t pull away, watching as it tried to suck and chew at it gently. “Cyan, they’re just babies! They don’t know any better they’re just hungry!” He pulled his finger away finally, watching as the Eevee stood on it’s hind legs and spun around before losing its balance and collapsing. “Well aren’t you a pretty little dancer!” He cooed. He couldn’t figure out why, but he had a sudden need, an urge to catch it.

“Come on, I’m sure they’ll leave us alone, we need to get back before the rain hits.” Cyan huffed and started trying to walk, but the Eevee kept getting underfoot. “Hey! I said beat it!”

Lincoln giggled. “They like you!” He looked to Cyrus, who was watching them with a small smile, and handed him a pokeball, pressing it into his palm. “Go on… it’s okay.” Lincoln smiled and squeezed his hand before stepping aside to let him work.

Cyrus whistled. “C’mere, little dancer…” The Eevee perked right up at that and scrambled back over. “You want to come with me?” It hopped back up and spun around again, making happy noises. Cyrus smiled and tossed the ball towards it. “Alright, if you insist…”

He watched the ball shake, once, twice, three times, then the satisfying click of a pokemon well caught.

“Cyan you can’t leave his friend here.” He scolded.

“I’m not taking it! It’s mean!”

Cyrus and Lincoln both gave him the look. He caught the Eevee.

They made it halfway back before the thunder started to break apart the sky and the rain started to pour, taking refuge under a bridge to wait it out with their new little friends.

Hop, Basil, Marnie, Milo’s brother, and the new champion all met in Circhester for the most epic snowball fight of epic snowball fights. They had invited Bede to join as well, but he hadn’t gotten back to them. Basil promised them he’d come around to their games eventually, after all they always had fun playing when they were little, he just needed a little more time to adjust.

Bede had also told him he was going to see Rose, and Basil could only imagine what that had done to him.

He pushed the thought out of his mind while they played and laughed, he hadn’t had this much fun in a long time and he was going to enjoy every second of it. He rolled his eyes when Hop tried and failed desperately to flirt with the Champion, and rolled them doubly when the Champion gave his attempts in return to an oblivious Hop. It was like watching Nanu and Kabu try to dance around their relationship and it was painful to watch.

The all eventually got tired out and stopped for lunch, piling into the cozy little restaurant and chatting happily. Basil was thrilled that they had all accepted him in as a friend, and he quickly lost track of time as they drank cocoa and gossiped about their siblings.

The snow outside was starting to pile up. The Flying Taxi’s stopped flying over Circhester.

“He should be home by now…” Kabu was trying not to let himself relax too much, but Nanu’s arms were so inviting. “Something’s not right, I told him to be home before it got bad out…”

Nanu pulled him close again, kissing his neck. “He’s fine, Kabu. He’s just doing what we did when we were his age. He probably lost track of time, he’s out with friends. They’ll keep each other safe.”

They were snuggled together on the couch, watching the rain come down through the window as the lighting blinded them yet again.

“I don’t like him being out in this weather. The rain is one thing but Circhester? The snow gets so bad you can’t see your hands in front of your face what if he gets lost?”

“He’s with friends! He won’t get lost.” He turned Kabu’s eyes away from the window and towards his own. “You’ve gotta let the kid have a little breathing room, babe. He’ll be okay.” He planted a kiss on Kabu’s lips, smiling at the small moan of frustration it brought and Kabu pulled him even closer.

Both of their phones started going off, startling them out of their kiss.

“What in Arceus name..?”

Kabu grabbed his first, scrambling to his feet. “No more flying taxis. I’m going to go get him it’s getting too dangerous out there—” As he spoke, a crash of lightning shattered the earth and the wind tossed a large branch against the window.

Nanu pushed him back down onto the couch. “Stay here, I’ll go look for him. He’ll feel safer with you here if he does happen to show up.” He tossed on his jacket. “But he’s fine! He’ll be fine! Keep your phone on you!”

Kabu didn’t want to stay. He didn’t want to sit and feel helpless, but he knew Nanu was right. He was okay, he was with friends. They’d keep each other safe…

The three strongest trainers in Galar gathered in a huddle in the lobby of the Battle Tower (Aside from the new champion, of course, but behind closed doors Leon swears his win was a stroke of luck and not a feat of skill). Piers, Leon, and Raihan spoke in hushed whispers, just loud enough to be heard over the raging storm outside.

“What about Marnie? He’s had his eyes on Spikemuth for as long as I can remember, I won’t let him hurt Marn, I’ll kill him before he gets the chance…”

“I don’t think he wants to hurt anyone.” Leon soothed. “I don’t think he’s going to come after anyone. But we have to be there for Bede and Basil, because he’ll try to get in contact with them and if he does, it’ll be bad news if no one’s there to intervene if his intentions aren’t good.”

“And the Champion?”

“Your brother’s gonna be alright, Rai. Don’t worry about it. We just have to keep our wits about us, and—”

They looked up as the bell on the door rang, announcing the stranger’s presence.

“Excuse me sir, the battle tower is closed…”

The stranger was wrapped in a large, ill fitting coat, with a hood that covered his eyes, and a scarf that covered the rest of his face. He unwrapped slowly, ignoring the warning.

“The battle tower is closed, you need to leave.” Leon warned again, hand twitching near his pokeballs.

The hood came down, and the scarf came off, and the stranger had revealed himself, though he didn’t look much like himself anymore, a shadow of his former grandeur.

“Please… I need your help.”

So, what Pokemon do you think Team RWBY and Team JNPR would have if they could have them? To make this easy, let's just go with one that would be a Pokemon that walks alongside them in their journey.

Oooooo boy this is gonna be a long ride! I have spent too much time thinking about that since I started watching RWBY lmao, so ill try to not type a full book about it dshjg

So with team RWBY, I’ll start with Weiss cuz she was the first one that stopped to think about this months ago. Her main would totally be an Alolan Ninetales! It’s perfect for her not for just it’s typing and looks, but because Weiss’ fighting style and Ninetales usage in real competitive battles are incredibly similar: they can be fast sweepers (Snow Warning + Blizzard - and for Weiss, just look at the vol2 train fight really) and amazing support for their team (Aurora Veil and the supporting Glyphs).

For Yang, my first pick would be an Infernape, Fire/Fighting is a perfect type combination for her, the flaming hair/head comparison, and both Blaze and Iron Fist as its ability are super fitting… really, I don’t think it needs more explanation skjhgsd but I would also give her an Arcanine maybe… mainly because it would it would look good together, just imagine how badass Yang riding one would be!! Also little Yang with a puppy is adorable. Of course, she can have both, but I’m not sure which would be her main.

The main reason I talked about those two first, it’s because I actually have complete drawings of them as trainers! I never posted here tho… I want to do that when I have the complete team. But you can see them at my DA

Weiss / Yang

I’ll put the rest under read more because this is gonna be long as hecc. I have a conflict about Ruby’s, an actual full backstory for Jaune, and I’m Arkos trash so it’s going to have a little bit of that too lmao

Ok, continuing… Blake… Obviously, it would be a cat pokemon. I wanted one that was good at using Substitute, to make a reference to her semblance. I went through every cat pokemon, but most of them weren’t bulky enough for that… then it hit me and I felt stupid dkghds Umbreon is not exactly a cat, but it’s cat-like enough and viable sets with Substitute actually exist! And her Eevee would totally have the ability Run Away before evolving.

Ruby was the most difficult one for me to pick a main, she can have a Roselia or Scizor but I was like… eh. I wanted a Wolf pokemon for her, to make a reference to her inspirational fairytale. I see a lot of people picking Zorua, but really…. aside from color scheme they are nothing alike, it would be more fitting for Emerald or even Neo.

Then the image of Ruby with a Rockruff came to me and I flipped cuz that would be so adorable??? And I was like THAT’S THE ONE.

Then I got conflicted about what it would evolve into. Ok, hear me out, if you were looking at it’s colors, Midnight form would be the best. BUT it’s fighting style is all about waiting, taking damage and lashing out after, its personality is too aggressive. Ruby is all about speed and the sweetest thing… so no…

Also, it’s the only form that doesn’t learn the priority more Accelerock, the one thing that would make it fast, and Ruby’s Lycanroc would totally have that move. So if I had to pick one, it would be the Dusk form I guess… I actually looked at the description of the form’s personalities at Bulbapedia months ago sdjkgh and thought that Dusk was more fitting for her. (Also Dusk is a special form for protagonists only lmao and Ruby sure is one)

Now JNPR! I actually have more than one pick for each one of them.

Ok… I want you … To just imagine… kid Ren and Nora traveling together… with a cute Ralts and a baby Elekid with them… just… imagine that…

Ren’s Ralts would totally evolve into a Gallade, Psychic/Fighting is a perfect type combination for him. It literally has green blades on its arms!!! And who keeps his green blades on his sleeves??? No coincidence!! Riolu/Lucario are also super fitting in my opinion, because of the Aura stuff, but Gallade would be his main

Nora’s Electivire would be a powerhouse! Motor Drive as its ability to reference her semblance. As scary it might look, I headcanon that it would be a total sweetheart tho sjkdgh Because I have one more thing for Nora… a Dedenne, and you don’t want to mess with that tiny rat! Small, but it eats the tears of its opponents for breakfast, and it will kick your butt!

Pyrrha would have most OU/Uber team ever! She’s a champion of various tournaments. Her main is a badass Garchomp, but with personality, that’s similar to its trainer. Also, she would have a shiny Aegislash, steel type, blade and shield… I think it fits. Probably has a mega evolution… Mega Garchomp is actually worse than the regular one so maybe another pokemon of her team. She would totally have a pokemon that’s like… I know it’s definitely not the thing that you will see in competitive battles, but she doesn’t care, she has it because she likes it… I just can’t think which pokemon that would be tho…

Oof… now Jaune, his main would be a shiny Chansey. The backstory that I have is that he found a small Happiny in the woods next to his home when he was just a little kid. There were rumors going around the town that there was a super rare pkm there, the Chansey line is already ridiculously special… and shiny above all that? So people were crazy to catch it.

So little Jaune found the Happiny all tired from running away and ended up befriending it. Helping it hide and find food, visiting her every day on her little hideout at the woods. He didn’t know the pokemon, why it was so wanted, and had no clue that it was a shiny (after all, the colors barely change).

After some time tho… some people found out about all of that. Little Jaune stood between the people and the pkm. The Happiny, seeing how her friend doing his best to protect her, evolves right on time (i know it needs an oval stone, Jaune probably gave one to her after doing some search and finding out that Happiny likes carrying one on their pouches). She puts the trainers to sleep with a Sing (after telling Jaune to cover his ears ofc sksklfj) and after they were safe, Jaune insists that she runs away, people knew, they were going to wake up soon and the little woods on the back of his house weren’t safe anymore.

But Chansey doesn’t want to leave, she grabs an empty pokeball from a sleeping trainer, and offers to Jaune so he could catch her. Jaune doesn’t have the age to be a trainer yet, and even if it’s his dream, he doesn’t think he would be a good one, still, he catches Chansey and they were always together ever since. (i wish i could draw a comic about this someday…)

His team would be more support based. His confidence can get a little down because most of his pokemon aren’t those super strong attackers or competitive material - he will learn that it isn’t all about attacking tho (especially with Pyrrha’s help), and he grows into an incredible strategist. I like to think that he also has a Pachirisu, just because he is Pyrrha’s partner, and you absolutely don’t want to get into a double battle with Garchomp and a Pachirisu against you!

ALSO HE TOTALLY WOULD HAVE A SCORBUNNY!! Probably named after a cereal mascot and damn I really want to draw that someday sgkjhsdg

The last thing… One day while I was thinking about options for Pyrrha’s pokemon, I was just looking for one with a matching color scheme, to then see if it fits her after.

I stopped at Ho-oh, and without even hesitating I thought “That’s more than fitting and she would totally have one its op but she’s badass enough for it and there is no convincing me otherwise.”

So yeah! I like to think that Pyrrha is Ho-oh’s “chosen one”. She doesn’t own it in a pokeball, but she had its protection and has permission to use it in battle sometimes.

Because I Arkos occupies half of my brain, I like to think that Jaune would eventually be Lugia’s chosen one. Just imagine that… the partners paired with a legendary duo… that’s some soulmates stuff! The legendaries totally fit them more than just color schemes too. Pyrrha has the one more focused on attack and Jaune has the bulky one.

I think… that is all… I have a few more minor headcanons, but this is too big already so I think it’s best if I stop here lmao

Pokémon AU

Honestly this is just... your standard Pokémon AU. Because I love Pokémon. And I love Miraculous Ladybug. So obviously... I had to mash it together.

MARINETTE’S TEAM

• She’s had a Ledyba since she was a three year old. It only finally evolved into a Ledian shortly after she began her Pokémon journey at the age of 13. It’s name is, obviously, Tikki. Tikki is the Pokémon she always starts with.

• Marinette’s “starter” Pokémon, the one she received from Professor Fu, is an Igglybuff. She affectionately names her Ballon. Eventually, Marinette finds a moon stone while traveling up a mountain through the caves, and evolved Ballon into a Wigglytuff.

• Marinette snatches a Feebas out of the hands of one horrible Chloe Bourgeois after hearing her mouth off about how “hideous” and “disgusting” it is, despite how “hard” she worked at “trying to make it at least look mildly presentable.” It’s holding a prism scale, and as soon as Marinette comes into possession of the poor thing, it evolves into Milotic. Chloe’s loss.

• Marinette captures an Oricorio and promptly falls in love with its ability to change types and appearance with different nectars. She stocks up in as much nectar as she can, all different types of it.

• Marinette and Mimikyu clicked the moment they saw each other. The neck of its disguise was broken, and Marinette offered to fix it, and maybe make new disguises for it in the future.

• Marinette ended up getting adopted by a Shroomish. She doesn’t know how it happened, considering she accidentally sat on it when looking for a place to rest in the forest, but it apparently took a liking to her after she apologised. It evolved into Breloom way too fast— mostly because it kept bursting out in the middle of battles in order to fight instead of any other Pokémon she was thinking of choosing.

ADRIEN’S TEAM

• Adrien had an Eevee growing up, which evolved into Umbreon in the middle of the night one day when he was 8. His name is Plagg, and he’s Adrien’s most trusted companion, even if the little booger is grumpy as hell.

• When Adrien moves next door to Marinette, he’s invited by Professor Fu to claim a starter Pokémon. He chooses Cleffa, naming her Étoile. Adrien is given a moon stone from his father right before he officially starts his journey, but he waits a really long time to evolve Étoile after it becomes a Clefairy. In fact, he only evolves her after he got all his gym badges.

• Adrien finds a Riolu egg while traversing through the mountain caves. You’d think he’d act like a father or something, but after it hatches, he treats it more like a little brother. He aggressively asserts his role as the “big brother” when Riolu evolves, though, because “it doesn’t matter if you’re taller now, I’m still older!”

• He comes across a Litwick in an abandoned, probably haunted mansion, and nearly dies in fear. The thing was on a warpath or something, it made damn sure to scare the living daylights out of Adrien. It found it immensely amusing, and decided to stick around. When it evolved into Chandelure, it had even more power to pull off even worse pranks.

• He accidentally steps on a Wimpod while walking on the beach and has to take it to Nurse Joy. He decides to train it until it turns into a Golisopod, and ends up treasuring his new cowardly friend.

• A Honedge one day wraps its sash over Adrien’s arm out of nowhere, and in a panic to not have his life energy literally get sucked out of his body, he threw an ultra ball at it. Since he didn’t weaken it, he expected it to break out, so he was running away until... He realised it never broke out. And that’s how he found himself stuck with the thing that he’s pretty sure tried to kill him. It acts civil now but.... he’s not letting it out of its ball at night, that’s for sure.

ALYA’S TEAM

• Alya has never had a Pokémon before, but she’s always trying to run into the tall grass to capture one herself. She had only just moved in, but everyone quickly picked up on Alya’s dangerous habits, so Fu invites her to claim a starter Pokémon of her own. Alya chooses a Vulpix, who she names Trixx.

• Alya likes to run into trouble, that’s already established. That means her team should be built to counteract that danger, right? Except... she doesn’t use brute force. She wants to be able to get into places she really shouldn’t be able to. Enter Kecleon. The ultimate invisible agent.

• On that note, enter Zorua, soon to be Zoroark! Being completely invisible is one thing, but being disguised? An illusionary mastermind? Totally different, and just as useful.

• She realises there’s more than simply tricking the human eye, of course. She also needs to be able to knock out anyone in her way, and without them noticing... The answer comes to her in the form of a Jumpluff infestation. She handles the situation before officer Jenny arrives, and gains a companion in the process. Those sleeping and paralysis spores are going to be useful in the future.

• When going through the same haunted mansion Adrien passed through, she finds a new addition to her team real quick— a mischievous Rotom. It makes a home in her phone, and she can’t bring herself to mind. Especially when it takes over the voice app and starts spouting jokes.

• The last addition to Alya’s team is an Absol. She hadn’t originally planned on it, but looking back, she doesn’t understand why she hadn’t thought of it. After seeing it show up just before a major catastrophe struck... She knows she needs a companion that can sense an impending disaster.

NINO’S TEAM

• Nino had overslept the day he was supposed to pick up a starter from Professor Fu. By the time he got there, there was no more starter Pokémon. Marinette learns about this quickly, and suggests that Professor Fu could... possibly give Wayzz, the old Turtwig Fu had never evolved, to Nino? Surprisingly, Fu agrees.

• Music is life for Nino, so it’s a no brainer that the first Pokémon he’s drawn to after he sets off on his journey is a Kricketot. He captures it without a hitch.

• While traveling through the mountain caves, Nino comes across a whispering sound somewhere in the tunnel, and he finds a Whismur. He thinks it’s adorable, so he captures it. It’s less adorable when it turns into a Loudred. And even less adorable when it becomes an Exploud, but at that point, he loves it too much to care.

• He accidentally catches a Ditto under the belief that it was a Houndour. He... doesn’t know what to think. He doesn’t release it though— if anything, Ditto’s now a valuable part of the team. Plus, it can transform into drums or a pair of headphones if he needed it. Thanks, blobby dude.

• Nino befriends a lone, singing Lapras at the beach one day, and ends up taking them with him on his adventure. He likes to use its singing voice in a lot of his songs.

• He caught a Wailord. He hadn’t meant to, like, seriously catch it. He dropped a regular Pokéball off the side of a ship he had been traveling in while the Pokémon passed under, and... it worked. He caught a freaking Wailord.

RANDOM STORY POINTS

• The region is being overrun by a criminal organisation called Akuma, run by a man who calls himself Hawkmoth (or Papillon.) It’s fairly new and only really started forming after the kids all set out on their adventure. The group’s goal is to capture Jirachi, for reasons unknown.

• Marinette starts off her adventure before anyone else, mostly because she was previously working under Professor Fu as an assistant. Professor Fu studies the inner power of Pokémon, such as their types, and what fuels their abilities.

• Despite working as an assistant to Professor Fu, Pokémon research is more of a hobby of Marinette’s than a full-time job. (Although, she certainly treats it like a very serious job despite claiming it’s a hobby...) Her real passion is fashion, and contests! Her and Tikki can win any and all contests imaginable, you’ll see!

• Adrien also has a love for contests. He’s used to putting off this stiff image in day to day life, but during contests, it’s expected of you to go all out. Get emotional, get aggressive, get competitive, get crazy! Joke, laugh, shout, dance! He loves everything about it, and when he’s performing, he truly feels like he’s... himself.

• Alya aspires to become either a journalist or a member of the police force. She dreams about herself being an Interpol agent, sometimes. She really loves those dreams.

• In an effort to fulfill those dreams, she’s pretty much constantly putting herself in danger in order to get ahead of the program. If she sniffs out any criminal activity, she’ll be snooping around the mafia’s secret headquarters before they even attempt the crime they were planning.

• Nino mostly just wants to be a DJ, but he doesn’t mind writing music for contests and musicals. If anything, he’s excited about watching Pokémon perform and dance to the music he created. He likes to make custom tracks for Marinette and Adrien’s performances.

• Yeah so... Gabriel is the villain once again, but since this is the Pokémon universe, you know he’s probably not going to be permanently locked up for his deeds. (Seriously, why did Lusamine and Lysandre and Maxie and Archie just... w h y.)

• Gabriel is after Jirachi in order to wake it up and claim a wish— a wish to bring his wife back. And he will stop at nothing to acquire this wish, including slipping butterfly pins onto people and brainwashing them into doing his bidding. Yeah.

• Contests in this region are huge. Arguably considered more important than even gym battles or the Elite Four. Which is why everyone is given the option to perform... completely anonymously. Wearing masks.

• Yeah that means the whole messy love square? Whoops, sorry, still exists.

• During a contest, Akuma crashes the party and literally breaks through the walls, declaring to transform everyone in the stadium into an Akuma. Luckily, Ladybug and Chat Noir aren’t simple performers— they’re Grade A trainers and they’re ready to whoop your ass. You picked the wrong day, butterfly man.

• In the end, Ladybug and Chat Noir save the day like a pair of actual superheroes. Their popularity shoots through the roof, everyone ships them, everyone admires them, everyone simply just loves them. It’s a little overwhelming.

• Of course, purple butterfly man takes this as a sign of war. Marinette and Adrien rise to the challenge. They start wearing their masks outside of contests as well, when they’re foiling the plots of the Akuma. Sometimes Marinette or Adrien... forgets the mask, but it’s usually passed off as just a (weirdly capable) fan trying to help out. (Which causes even more ship wars— Ladrien! Marichat! Noooo, Ladynoir, the OTP!)

• Alya, of course, prides herself as being the best investigative journalist around. (Y’know, despite being a literal 13 year old.) That means she follows these new superheroes around like a predator— she’ll get her scoop no matter what!

• Unfortunately this means that Alya’s the one who finds out their identities first, then promptly outs them to each other under the assumption that they already knew... which they didn’t. They didn’t know, Alya.

• #Ladynoir and #Adrienette confirmed, now

I still have,,, so much to write on this, but it’s already gotten way too long, and I’m too tired at this point to give it more thought. So, for now, I’m just gonna post what I have. I might make another post later detailing more on Alya and Nino’s lives, and maybe even Professor Fu, and definitely more an the Akuma and Gabriel, but for now... This is it.

Fuck Pokémon Go

I’m gonna delete this damn game. I’ve always been pissed off about how Niantic handled their ‘Community Days’. Whether it be the date or the time.

I’ve missed some of my favorites like Blaziken because it’s set on the day and time I work.

Community DAY is a fucking joke. Have the whole goddamn event be a full TWENTY FOUR hour day. Not just three hours. And having it be Community Weekend would be better.

Barely any Trapinch are showing up and I don’t even have an hour left with 75 candies to go so I’m missing another favorite of mine.

I’ve been with this since day one and now I don’t care about it. There’s no stops near where I live now either. And I can’t ever get it to synch up with Let’s Go Eevee so I’m never getting Meltan. But go ahead and complain about not getting your shiny little blob.

I’m fed up with this crap. Just wanted my Flygon. Not more Growlithe.

Worldwide TV-broadcast interview brought to you by Mauville television

“Welcome to Co-ordinators galore! Where we interview the best and most interesting coordinaters as of now! Today we have an extremely special guest, so special in fact, that while we don't usually allow pokemon on set, we had to make a special exception just for her! It's the one! The only! Ruianna Arcadia!"

Ruianna walked out onto the set, aura rising in small amounts from her hands, but she seemed quite calm, a small white Riolu, the usually black markings a somewhat darker silvery color, and the yellow ring between the white and that of the usually dark markings. Her fur was a little bit longer, and all but the usual Riolu markings were covered in dark gray almost black in some lighting Liepard spots, aside from her stomach following after her. Tatha was already perched on her shoulder.

Meanwhile Meyu was already on set, appearing in the background, seemingly relaxed as he leaned against the wall, eyes open as he seemed to focus on the tablet in his paws.

The pinkette sat down, picking the Riolu up and setting her in her lap.

"So Ruianna, as every dedicated Coordinating fan knows, about five years ago you simply quit, without a single word, however there were rumors that the reason was a toxic fanbase, tell us all what we're dying to know, why did you quit?"

"I was actually the one who spread those rumors. I figured that maybe if they thought they were the ones who caused my absence in the first place, they'd get better. Roll the damn footage."

A clip rolled, showing a mob of people you could barely see through, all shouting out questions about Rui, including one very hurtful comment in particular, clearly heard above the rest. "Why is Ruianna even friends with someone like you anyways?!"

Rui's Aura flared at that comment, visible even on camera as her calm expression quickly turned to one of rage, and both her Eevee and Meyu glared at the camera.

"But clearly a rumor isn't enough. I'm talking to everyone who mobbed a friend of mine new to the contest scene in Lillycove, you all KNOW what you did, and if you ever do something like that again I will leave the contest scene, permenantly. I love contests. My pokemon love them too, but I refuse to let a toxic fanbase get in the way of my attempts to follow my dreams as a researcher and live my life happily or ruin the fun for my friends and family! This is the only warning you guys get. You all better behave yourselves. Or that contest I participated in will be the last one for me."

"But didn't Caden say that if you permanently quit contests because of your fanbase that he would to?!"

"Yes. We agreed when my fans started getting toxic that if they refused to let us live our lives like normal people save for events, either of us, and drove us to the point of quitting permanently, we'd both quit."

"What was the first breaking point to make you decide to quit the first time?"

"It was *#$@&%¢© horrible, I could barely go outside without being practically stampeded, my Pokemon were scared I'd end up hurt, and that's not even mentioning the paparazzi swarming my entire life. But the real breaking point was when they broke into my family's home where I was staying and tried to steal one of his Pokemon."

"Was it really that bad?"

"Yeah. And getting my education to become a certified legendary researcher? Forget it. But that's in the past, and if I find out that they're going after them again? Not only will I quit, but there's a good chance Meyu will take it personally."

"Mewtwo? The Mewtwo?!"

"Actually, I'm a different Mewtwo, and frankly prefer my nickname. But yes, I will take it personally. Rui's business is my business, and if something is bothering her, it's my job to fix it. No matter what means I may have to use to do so."

"And he's speaking Galarian. Not using Telepathy. Speaking. Full Galarian. I better not lose my job because a god threatened our viewers."

Rui's Aura calmed down, and Meyu went back to the tablet, Tatha adjusting her position on her trainer's shoulder. "Anyway, on a brighter note, I would like to confirm that any rumors that may have been heard about me adopting a kid are in fact true."

"I was just wondering about that, did you really use a Z-move with a Mega on the battlefield? Who were the people you were defending him from? Were they really using shadow Pokemon?"

"I did, but I wouldn't suggest it, I barely managed to pull it off myself, and even then it drained me quite a lot. If someone without a strong enough life force attempted it without knowing what they were doing, using the precise method I did, and had more than enough life force to make a mistake? Well they'd die."

"She's exaggerating on how much it drained her, but that's because she has an inhuman amount of Aura."

"As for who I was fighting, well let's just say they weren't exactly, good people. Who they were doesn't matter, and don't go pestering my kid for answers. I'm going to be even less tolerant of any treatment of him that's close to what happened to my friend. You can talk, interact and ask him a few questions, but if he wants you to back off and you refuse to respect that he doesn't want to answer your questions or talk? Let's just say that I'm not going to beg for your lives if Meyu decides to defend him. And to answer that last question, yes, they did. Two, but I've since purified them. They'll be fine. Wish I could say the opposite for their former trainers however."

"I can fix that."

"Meyu, no. No murder, I'm not encouraging that."

The reporter nervously cleared her throat. "So, who exactly is your adopted son anyway?"

Rui's face lit up at that question, mood changing instantly from the former angry mama Ursaring she'd just been a moment ago.

"His name is Lazar and he's an adorable child and I love him he's just so precious and amazing and he's one of those kids that must be protected always because they're so pure and kind and did I mention how much I care about him?"

"He's probably watching right now."

"Really?!"

"Also totally not going to listen to what you said earlier."

"Do I need to get the spray bottle?!"

"..... No.. also really? On TV? That's gonna be there forever!"

"And looks like that's all the time we have today, thank you for watching and thank you Miss Arcadia for letting us have this opportunity!"

Pokemon Trainer - Jacques Cresent

I’ve been playing Let’s Go Eevee recently and it’s restored my love for Pokemon games and that got me thinking... HMMMMMM what type of Pokemon Team would some of my OC’s have? Obviously I had to start with Jacques because I had the general ideas for his entire time. One, dragons and two... Outrage.

Ultra Necrozma, as a Shiny especially fits with what Jacques is if he ever goes full blown Great Wyrm on everyone. It’s silver, it’s got multiple wings, it’s a dragon type and it’s god damn powerful obviously. So that would no doubt he the ‘ace’ of his team and his staple pokemon that he’ll use as his last resort so to speak.

Charizard/Mega Charizard X, the Outrage train begins and this fits the dragon type finally. While I likely would have said Shiny Charizard would work out I do love the normal Mega better for the colors and Shiny Mega X is just... eh? Jacques would likely pick Charizard because it’s one of the OG’s of Pokemon and he was originally designed in an FF7 setting. Yeah... there ya go.

Gyarados/Mega Gyarados, because Jacques is not just a creature of mass destruction if he loses his shit he goes nuclear. We know just how destructive Gyarados can be if we’ve played and went through the Lake of Rage portion of the games. This checks off that massive destructive power mark as it has Outrage and it’s just a raging giant serpent of doom.

Tyranitar/Mega Tyranitar, one thing I wanted to have is a Dark Type of sorts on Jacques’ team. Lucky for me there is something that Jacques has in common with good ol Tyranitar here... spikes... many many spikes. And while Houndoom would have been good (because the horns) it doesn’t fit in the ‘Outrage’ category for things. It... also has Brutal Swing... take a guess why I picked that move for it lol

Rayquaza/Mega Rayquaza, mmmmmm gotta love that shiny. While Jacques certainly isn’t a ‘serpent’ by any means when he goes dragon there is one thing he can do while in that. He could bring about another Calamity that would be far worse than the Elder Primal Bahamut. Draco Meteor fills in that idea of just what destruction he could rain down if he were to unleash that power and bring about an ‘end of days’ so to speak. Plus, giant black serpent... it fits his color aesthetic quite well would say.

Lopunny....? I was originally going to try and find one of the most ridiculous things that could have a weird moveset or that could learn Outrage (I’m looking at you Mew) but then I decided on Lopunny. It may not be a cat and it may not be some super powerful goddess infused creature but Jacques would have something that is totally out there for him because of his partners Swath (@theaetherhealerffxiv) and P’shali (@talechaser-ffxiv) and he wouldn’t care because this sucker can be powerful in it’s own right. And it might shock people enough to see this guy with super powerful beasts and the like throw out some adorable fluffball.

SO... if anyone wants to do this feel free to? I’d be interested in seeing what you’d pick for your characters!

My Reaction to the 9-13-2018 Nintendo Direct

Like I did with the E3 presentation, I plan on going through each individual game showcased here and posting my thoughts on each. Then I’ll summarize with my thoughts about the entire thing. So without further ado:

Luigi’s Mansion 3: Back from the dead, Luigi has sworn to destroy the monsters that were briefly his brothers. In all seriousness though, this game was completely unexpected and I think it looks great. I like the fact that it seems to be hotel setting this time.

Kirby’s Extra Epic Yarn: I did not own the original game, though I did play it and I loved how stress-free and charming it was. I might even get this one.

Mario and Luigi Bowser’s Inside Story: I’m a little salty they skipped Partners in Time. That one was one of my favorite Mario and Luigi games. This one looks good though, and I like the idea of a Bowser Jr. focused mode.

Luigi’s Mansion 3DS: I actually can’t wait for this one. I only very briefly played the original one, but I loved its creepy atmosphere and sometimes legitimately scary moments. I’m absolutely getting this version.

Yo-Kai Watch Blasters Moon Rabbit Crew: I actually got this game a little while ago on a whim, and while it hasn’t wowed me yet I also haven’t gotten super far. I’m still not 100% sure what Moon Rabbit Crew even IS yet, but if its a free update there’s no harm in getting it.

Splatoon 2 Ver. 4: I don’t play Splatoon anymore, so this trailer didn’t really mean anything to me, but I loved how they went full anime with it, and I absolutely adore the effort and creativity that Nintendo is putting into this franchise.

Mega Man 11: I’ll admit that I was never a fan of old-school Mega Man due to its difficulty (yes, I know. I’m the worst), but this was my first time seeing any footage of Mega Man 11 and I liked what I saw. I might need to try out the demo.

Mario Tennis Aces Ver. 2: I didn’t wind up getting this game, but I’m happy it’s getting tons of post-launch content. I just hope the Switch eventually gets a Mario Golf game with the same treatment.

Capcom Beat ‘Em Up Bundle: This is probably one of the highlights of this Direct for me. I did not grow up near an Arcade so I never played any of these games, but I was aware of a few of them. So this bundle will be my first time playing any of them and for $20 that’s a steal. I just hope there’s a physical release.

New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe: I might skip this one since I prefer modern Mario games to the classic side scrollers (I know. I’m the worst.).

Katamri Damacy Reroll: Oh boy! I have never played a Katamari game, though I have always been aware of how delightfully bizarre they are. And now you’re telling me I get to play the original? Oh you better believe I am getting this.

Nintendo Switch Online: I’ve seen a lot of people upset by this and I get why, but this isn’t something Nintendo just sprung on us. They’ve made it very clear before the Switch even launched that a paid online service was coming just like what Xbox and Playstation have. So while it does suck that we have to pay for something that has been free for over a year now, the jaw-droppingly low price of $20 a year (I’m an unemployed student and even I can afford that!) and bonus NES games are enough to make me be alright with it.

Pokemon Let’s Go: Already got my copy pre-ordered (Amazon had a price error so I got it for $20 less), so Nintendo doesn’t need to sell me on this game, but I’m still excited for it. I don’t care how kiddy or easy it looks, the game looks absolutely charming and I love it! I do hope those Pikachu and Eevee Joycons are sold separately though, because I want them.

Diablo III Eternal Edition: I’m not a huge Diablo fan, so I don’t know if I’ll get this game, but I just want to bring everyone’s attention to the upbeat Nintendo Announcer saying “The Burning Hells”.

Super Mario Party: I’m getting this. I am making my friends play it with me. We will never speak again. It will be glorious.

Town: To quote the best character in Monster Prom: YAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSS!!! I am a huge Pokemon fan, so Game Freak has my loyalty 100%. Especially after how addicting Pocket Card Jockey was. This trailer only showed us a little bit about the game, but I am already all in.

Cities Skylines: This game isn’t really the kind of game I usually go for but I’m happy for people who enjoy city simulators.

Daemon X Machina: This clip didn’t give us any info we didn’t already know from E3, but the game still looks great and I have every intention of getting it.

Yoshi’s Crafted World: I don’t know what Nintendo’s obsession with handicrafts is, but if it keeps resulting in charming, clever looking games like this, I hope it never stops.

Asmodee Digital Board Games: I’m all for digital board games, especially since they’ll likely be more affordable and less reliant on human deck-shuffling than regular board games. I would love to play Pandemic, but since that would probably work best online and since I refuse to use voice chat when playing online (see my above comments regarding my being the worst), I doubt that’ll work out well for me since Pandemic kind of requires a lot of coordination and strategy between players. That Munchkin Dungeon Crawler sounds great though!

Civilization VI: The only Civ game I played was Civ Revolution and I was absolutely enamored by it. I would love to play Civ VI on my Switch, since my PC is not even close to Civilization capable.

Starlink: I don’t know if I’ll get this game, but I do like the Star Fox content. I especially love Wolf’s voice in this trailer. It reminds me of Beast Wars’ Megatron.

The World Ends With You and Xenoblade DLC: My excitement for TWEWY dwindled considerably when I found out the game relies on touch and motion controls, but I still kind of want to get it. And the Xenoblade DLC looks great, but I need to get back in to Xenoblade.

Normies Showcase: Out of the third party games shown here, the only ones I feel like I NEED to get (and definitely on Switch) are Team Sonic Racing and LEGO DC Villains.

SO MANY FINAL FANTASIES: GOOD LORD. I’m not going to go through every single game shown here but... damn. Way to justify putting Cloud in Smash. And yes, I am very tempted to get all of them. Especially Crystal Chronicles.

So in conclusion, I was very, very happy with today’s Direct. There were so many games that I wanted that I can hear my bank account actively weeping right now. If I have one complaint though, it would be the lack of information about Fire Emblem Three Houses. Nintendo has been so quiet about that game since announcing it that I’m beginning to think that all of us collectively imagined it at E3.

Jokes aside, I’m sure they’ll reveal more information soon, and we have plenty to tide us over until then! Now, to play Luigi’s Mansion Dark Moon until the 3DS version of the original comes out.

jeremy heere - jeremy was born in kanto and raised there for most of his life - eventually moved to alola with his dad and lives on melemele island! his mother is from sinnoh (and lives there now) and his father from kanto.. he’s visited kanto a couple times with his family before his mom left, and plans to just travel the different regions one day! jeremy is the kind of person to have a full team on him at almost all times imo!

his team consists of:

a shiny toucannon! he came across her one day and managed to catch her (as a pikipek) and still cries over the fact he found her tbh. her name is leia and she will fucking fight anyone who messes with jeremy (or any of jeremy’s friends, tbh.) ((michael cries over her. everyone cries over her. the shiny bi birb......... bless..... RICH CRIES OVER HER A LOT BC!!! IT’S THE BIRB!!!!!))

natasha is jeremy’s vulpix! she is a cutie that was given to him by his dad, and she’s not an alolan vulpix (which, jeremy is completely fine with tbh, because natasha is pretty fucking rad). jeremy’s actually grown up with her so they’re pretty close.

ganon is a gengar that will fuck u up. he’s kind of an ass sometimes, but he’s apart of the team nonetheless! jer caught him after he was dared to go into the thrifty megamart (while acerola was off taking care of official business, which is... a no-no, jeremy you fuck).

galileo is an eevee jeremy has yet to evolve - mainly out of uncertainty. he’ll probably end up as a jolteon tho! jeremy caught him since the boy loves eevees. michael was probably like “so what are you gonna evolve him into” and jeremy was like “.... fuck, idk.” he’s a pretty rad eevee, tbh - but he’s a lil smaller than most. he doesn’t let that get him down - fuck you if you judge him on his size, tbh.

kalel is a tirtouga that jeremy revived! he’s a pretty rad dude who acts a lot older than he is. pretty gnarly. michael likes him. they share weird outdated lingo lmao

peggy is an ariados that’s super sweet. gentle spider baby. she’s pretty optimistic tbh!!! jeremy loves his spider baby. he raised her from when she was just a baby spinarak. his daughter. i love her.

michael mell - born and raised in alola on ula’ula island! he’s pretty content to staying in alola, but would 100% travel other regions with jeremy because honestly - that sounds super fucking cool. keeps 3-4 pokemon with him at all times. super guilty about catching pokemon and sending them back to his parents - but they don’t mind! his dad loves pokemon a lot and both of his parents research them!!!

his team consists of:

daxter the decidueye! michael’s parents managed to get daxter (as a rowlet) for him for his birthday and the two are super close! sometimes closer than michael and jer are lmao. he’s a pretty damn cool bird. fuck u jeremy and ur SHINY bird.

samus the flareon!!!!!! the only gal who will fuck u up if u underestimate her. michael treasures her. she is a good bab. 10/10. likes to curl up on michael while he sleeps.

christine canigula - also born and raised in alola on akala island, but lived in hoenn for a couple of years before moving back! she loves her team and would fight u. a complete angel tbh, names all her pokemon after theatre characters (same tbh). her father travels a ton and she meets up w him sometimes while she travels!!! it’s fun times

her team consists of:

cassie the oricorio! too good for the chorus. christine loves her a ton!!! she is a good bird. very dance and gets along with christine rly rly well!!!! (most often seen as in pom-pom style)

eliza the lilligant! she is good and an angel. i love her. extrmely sweet tbh. the most liked member of the team tbh. (these descriptions get shorter with every character whoops)

macbeth is christine’s machoke! he’s ready 2 tussle if u hurt christine + he’s super gr8 at moving set pieces if necessary! once picked up jeremy and scared the fuck out of him.

puck is a togedemaru! he’s super cute and ready to destroy. probably the strongest of the team tbh. probably fucked up Many ppl. he’s super sweet though??? just don’t anger him lmao. he chills in the light/sound booth during shows. he doesn’t even do anything he just chills there.

rich goranski - from sinnoh my sweet dudes! most of his pokemon are actually like.... sinnoh-native. lives in alola with his older brother now but still visits sinnoh every year. tends to travel rather than just staying in one place. has broken his pokedex multiple times on accident. his bro is pretty laid-back tbh but probably works for aether since they pay is... good and he was support rich that way. has burn scars from a bad run-in w a pokemon :/

his team consists of:

buzz is his electabuzz! a good baby, buzz is a big ole softy who cares deeply for his trainer. a tough dude, ready to tussle if someone tries to hurt rich though.

ryder is his mudsdale! a tough, cold dude who doesn’t rly give two shits abt 99% of things. prefers naps tbh. a bit stubborn sometimes too tbh. actually rly loves brooke??? no one knows why.

onyx is his salazzle. a sharp-witted girl who would fuckin stab a bitch for rich. very protective of him. she loves her short trainer. often picks fights with daxter whenever rich and michael are together, but more in the older sister way tbh.

jake dillinger - born and raised in kalos, jake made it his personal goal to travel to every region and beat the leagues. his parents have been sort of absent from his life so he’s extremely independent and tends to mother his team, honestly. he regularly talks with sycamore (and thanks him for giving him the opportunity to travel)! strong boy. loves his team. only carries three pokemon bc he’s always ready to add to his team.

chester the chesnaught! wasn’t named by jake. a timid boy who’s a little bigger than most chesnaughts, ending up around 5′8″ rather than the usual 5′3″. forgets he’s a big boy. has always referred to jake as his papa ever since he was a chespin and he hasn’t stopped lmao. what a cutie

stephanie is his mienshao! a tall babe who is ready 2 tussle. loves jake? he is a good trainer. often spars with chester to keep her skills sharp. i love her?

beans is his reuniclus and he is a smart cookie. awkwardly smaller than most pokemon tbh? he doesn’t care. he’s happy and loves himself and his teammates. often naps but is a strong baby.

chloe valentine - born in kalos, raised in alola on akala island. met brooke there too!!! didn’t grow up expecting to be that interested in battling but something seemed to spark and she’s honestly one of the strongest trainers in alola. honestly, i could see her as an island kahuna??? ready to fight anyone threatening her island.

buster the machamp. protective of everyone tbh, not just chloe. a jolly boy who loves to eat, and often jokes around with the rest of the team and with chloe’s friend’s teams.

marshmallow the bewear. honestly a terrifying bear who knows her strength. very patient with everyone, except buster when he tells shitty jokes. often the scariest part of chloe’s team.

kate the lucario. the real threat. chloe fucking trains with her in order to keep in shape. often responsible for knocking teams out, kate is the powerhouse of the team. marshmallow may strike fear, but kate’s the one trainers should lookout for.

brooke lohst - born and raised on akala island with christine! brooke has always had an interest in taking care of pokemon and aspires to be a nurse someday tbh!!! not interested in battling tbh, but is super supportive of her friends! only keeps two pokemon with her at all times tbh. they’re good friends.

winona the chansey is brooke’s main partner tbh. she plans on staying by brooke’s side when she goes into school and helping her when she eventually becomes a nurse! good friends with rich’s mudsdale tbh. winona is very bold and very strong and i love her

terra the espeon. given to by jeremy! terra is a sweetheart who also helps brooke as much as she can, and can help calm trainers if needed. whoops i love her?

jenna rolan - also born and raised in alola on melemele island. jenna is insanely smart??? honestly she’s gonna be a professor one day. she studies under professor kukui rn! more intereted in research than battling tbh. loves her team i s2g she would fight anyone for insulting them.

frost is her ninetails (alola ver)! jeremy loves her? especially bc he was raised in kanto and woah jenna u have a ninetails wtf!!! but she’s an ice type!!! thats so cool.... but anyway, frost is a diva i s2g, she likes attention (and likes jeremy because he gives her attention).

Okay I set meself some new goals for the new year. How have I been keeping up with them?

1) Write 250 Words Each Day

I have missed a couple days this month, but I have certainly written more than the equivalent of 250 words times 31 days. So while I did have some misses, I more than made up for them. This one is both a hit and a miss, but far more hit than miss. I am mostly on track with this goal.

2) Read At Least 55 Books This Year

If we are counting audiobooks, which we ABSOLUTELY ARE, I have finished ten books this month and am close to finishing two more. If I keep up this kind of pace, I will have met my goal by midyear. We will see if that happens, but I am very well on track with this goal.

3) Get A Full Time Job

I have not done this yet. But I did work two jobs all month with a grand total of two days off. I applied for 24 different jobs this month. This doesn't quite equal out to one job per day, and I certainly didn't do this every day, but that's a fair amount of effort. I worked a lot and I worked on the job search a lot. I've also edited my resume, worked on making a brand new one, and designed my own business cards. I think I am making some progress on this but it is just so hard to tell. I am working on this goal, but I do not know if I am on track.

4) Move Out

Yeah obviously this hasn't happened yet. Kiel and Steph have offered to let me move in with them in Milwaukee if I need to or if I get something there. It's so tempting to take them up on it. I might if I have no leads on the job search by the end of March, but both Kiel and I agree that this winds up with the risk that I just get stuck working at Target again. It's so difficult. And yet today, when my parents were out of the house, I hooked up my Nintendo Switch to the television and just played some video games and I also took out my ukulele and sang some dumb songs and I just felt like myself for the first time in a while, and God I just miss that so damn much. I wanna move out so fucking badly it hurts. Ugh. I will get there. I just need the full time job first. I do not know if I am on track.

5) Drink Less Soda

Well, I drank less soda. I didn't cut out soda altogether, but at least half the days, or maybe even most of the days, I didn't have any soda at all. And the days I had soda, I'm pretty sure I limited it to one, except maybe once or twice when it was two. But by and large I am still cutting down on soda. So that's good. I'm not losing weight, but that's probably because I'm not working physically anymore like I was at Target. The last two days I lifted weights, maybe I'll work out more? Either way, I just needed to cut down on soda, and by gum, I have been doing that. I am on track with this goal.

6) Get Something Published

I am going to be published in Eclipse, a fanzine based on Problem Sleuth the Intermissions of Homestuck. I finished the first draft of my fic for it this year. I also found a zine I might want to send some stuff to tonight, and I still intend to send stuff into The Green Light and Red Cedar. I don't know if I have anything good enough for Steam Ticket, but who knows? I should also submit to more places, and I have been bookmarking pages that have promising listings. I am mildly on track with this goal, but I ought to put more into it.

7) Finish Writing A Legitimate Businessman

I have written 6,654 words on this fic in this month alone. This is the most frequently I have ever updated it. It is not finished, but with every update I near the ending. Some of the endings have been as short as two or three hundred words, most have been around six or seven hundred, but at least one was fifteen hundred words, making it the longest chapter written in years. I am on track with this goal.

8) Write More The Revelation of Takaya According to Jin

I have not written ANYTHING on this fic this month. I did listen to some Lovecraft on audiobook and I've been reading a lot of poetry, so I'm gaining fuel I suppose, but I am not on track.

MINOR GOALS

9) Finish Playthroughs Of:

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild -- Success! I beat it on accident and started a new one. So this one is COMPLETED.

Persona 3 Portable 100%: I am on the last day or two. I tried fighting Margaret once this month and got royally scuppered up the barrelstopper. These sorts of super-hard turn-based battles are literally not fun. I also don't have any Armageddons and I don't know if it's possible to beat Margaret or Elizabeth without them. I don't know if it's worth it to try, but I also don't know if I shouldn't beat this and start a new game plus again. It's just……. I'm literally these two boss fights away from 100%, and I've NEVER gotten this close before. Guh. What I really need is Armageddon though. Sigh. Who knows.

Persona 1 Good Ending: Yeah I don't think I picked this up at all this month.

Pokemon Sword: I have beaten the main game and am partially through the post-game plot. It's just kinda boring at this point, but I will beat it I'm sure.

Pokemon Let's Go Eevee: I haven't picked this up this year, but I plan to. It's a fun little game. I'm at Cinnabar Island, so I'm pretty close to the end.

10) Record More Ukulele Videos

I played my ukulele a lot today?? I tried recording a song but didn't like it. I'm working on some stuff though, so I'm not doing this yet but I am at least getting started on practicing and planning

11) Record Let's Play Videos

Not even a little bit.

12) Duolingo?

I've done Spanish on Duolingo every day for 33 days straight. SUCK IT, Me from 2008.

GOALS I DIDN'T KNOW I HAD

13) Set up my turntable and listened to records on my own.

14) Added to my collections of books, amiibos, video games and movies, often in unexpected ways and sometimes at large amounts for little money. And sometimes not. Whoops. I cannot be trusted with money. Ugh.

15) Work out?? I have done so a little bit two days in a row. Maybe I can keep this up and do more. I ought to, since I'm not at Target anymore, and since I won't be at MATC for the time being I will have more free time to do so. It's worth a shot.

So I'm doing pretty well on the ones I can keep track of. I'm not doing PERFECT, but I do think I am doing really well.

Meeting the Avengers family; Chris Evans x teen reader

This request was my first ever Chris Evans request that I had ever written. I hope you guys enjoy it, not really any warnings except for utter teeth rotting fluffiness, sparks of first romance and the Three Leaders of Team Cap picking on a small Tom Holland.

It was the beginning of May and my dad Chris Evans and I have just arrived at the first location spot for the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War film. Now I have been to all the premieres and heck I have all the DVD's but I've never once gotten the chance to go with my dad to see him on set as Captain America (I blame school for that) but now since I've finished my finals and am currently done with school, I have bargained with my dad to allow me to go with him on set to see Avengers: Infinity War and here we are now.

"Okay (n/n) we're here" my dad said as he patted my knee which made me take out my earbuds and shut my music off and I got out of the car with him and we were guided by some of the Marvel staff into the studio where we were welcomed by the entire cast and crew that were there.

"And there he is Captain America ready to return for one more, grand ass-kicking movie!" RDJ proclaimed as everyone applauded and my dad smiled and saluted before going in and hugging some of his cast mates.

"And I see you brought young Evans with you too huh Chris?" stated Scarlett as she came up to me and hugged me. I have known Scarlett ever since I was a little girl when she and my dad first met and for years whenever he was too busy or any other of my family members couldn't babysit me, he called up Scarlett and she became like a second mother to me.

"Hey Scarlett" I said as we hugged each other.

"Hey (n/n), ohhh girl you are getting bigger every time I see you" she said as she rocked me back and forth.

"Is that the Princess Leia to my Luke Skywalker I hear?" A huge smile grew on my face and I ran and glomped my big bro Sebastian Stan. He twirled me around the two of us laughing with each other as he squeezed me in his famous Sebastian teddy bear hugs. "Ohh how you doin doll?"

"Been better just glad to be out of school and see you all become your characters for what may seem the final time. I didn't know you were gonna be in this movie?"

"Told your dad to keep it a surprise from you".

"That's why you randomly took my phone away from me that week!" I exclaimed at my dad as he and the other Avengers laughed. Seb wrapped his arm around my shoulders and brought me in close to him and kissed the top of my head playfully while also gently giving me a noogie.

"Now then, there are some other superheroes you have yet to meet so me along with Seb and Anthony Mackie are gonna give you a little tour around the set to meet them before we get you settled in your trailer".

"For realzies?"

"For sure Lady Liberty!" I heard Mack-attacks voice. He opened his arms out for me and I went into his arms as he rocked me back and forth. "What's up Lady Liberty? You getting bigger or something? Last I saw you, you were—" he then teased me as he placed his hand on my head and measured me and then went about a foot down as he continued, "That tall?"

"Haha very funny!"

"No Chocolachino's right, when I first met you back in 2010 you were about—this big" he teased going lower than Mackie had his hand then I exclaimed out.

"Who you calling small that you wanna crush like an ant!?"

"Hey there will be no ant-crushing while I'm around!" It was then Paul Rudd came up along with one of my favorite actresses and role models Evangeline Lilly.

"Hey Rudd, Eevee" my dad said. "(Y/n), this is Evangeline Lilly and I'm sure you remember Paul Rudd" and believe me when I say I was a little star struck when I found myself standing face to face with Evangeline Lilly.

"Hi (y/n) Paul's told me a bit about you during the Ant-man and Wasp movie from when he met you during the Civil War premiere" said Evangeline.

I froze in shock and nervousness and smiled bashfully I swear my face was probably even redder than the Ironman suit.

"Aww (n/n) gone all shy now!" teased Mackie.

"Shut up" I stuttered. I then turned to Evangeline and said, "It's a real honor to finally meet you I've—I've been a fan of yours ever since I first watched you in Lost. Then when you were on the Hobbit I just—oh my god...." I looked down almost tearing up and everybody awed at me then I felt Evangeline Lilly actually hug me.

"It's always nice meeting a fan of mine. It's an honor to meet Captain America's daughter, I'm thrilled to meet you sweetie" she told me.

"You know Eevee, when we went to Wizard World last year, she actually cosplayed Tauriel and she actually made the cosplay herself. Weapons and all" my dad said.

"Really? Do you have a picture?" she asked.

"Right here, I actually got a video of it on my phone" Sebastian said. We then crowded around Seb and he opened up his phone and played back the video of me doing a testing of my handmade Tauriel daggers in full costume in my hotel room.The video first showed a door and my voice came out.

"You ready Seb?"

"Yeah I'm rolling, Anthony cue the music!" Seb's voice rang out and soon Tauriel's battle music came out and the door swung open and there I was in full costume twirling the daggers pretending to fight and intimidate any orc that came my way. My father's, Seb's and Mackie's voices all cheered out and cried out in exclamation.

"Oh my god! That is so cool!" Eevee exclaimed. "You look exactly like Tauriel! How long did it take you to make the entire cosplay?"

"Four months to make the actual cosplay itself and the weapons about a month so in total five, five and a half. I wanted to be as detailed as possible because she's my favorite character and I wanted to do you justice" I admitted bashfully.

"Well justice is served, wow (y/n) that—that is amazing! High-five badass She-elf!" I then high fived Evangeline and soon the directors called for the actors to get ready for shooting so everyone dispersed and went into their trailers to put away their stuff and get ready for the big day of shooting Avengers: Infinity War.

While heading to my trailer I accidentally bumped into someone dropping my luggage and the damn zipper broke spilling out some of my movies from my bag.

"Oh shit! I'm so sorry here let me help you with that" we both knelt down and when we looked up at each other I was staring face to face with the new Spiderman Tom Holland. Though I did see him at the premiere of Civil War I never did really get a chance to talk to him but I would be lying if I didn't admit that I had a small little crush on him.

"Thank you" I said as he handed me my Star wars: The Force awakens Blu-ray.

"So you like Star Wars too?" he asked me.

"Yeah I—I grew up with it and know every single line to the originals and this movie". I said to him shyly.

"Me too, my brothers and I loved having our Star Wars days when we were kids".

"Me too, hell my dad and I still kinds do that with my cousins whenever he's on break. I also love watching them with my big bro sometimes too".

"If you don't mind me asking, I mean I feel like I've seen you before but I can't quite put my finger on it".

"Well you might remember my father. He's the one your character shares a common New York charisma and my brother is the one who had the metal arm which you thought was awesome".

"Oh my god—you're Chris Evans' daughter?"

"Yep. (Y/n) Evans at your service". After the introductions and gathering up my spilled DVD collection to keep me entertained while my dad is filming, Tom and I went inside my trailer and the two of us just talked for hours on end until he was called to set.

For the next several weeks, I got to meet several other actors who had come in to shoot their scenes like Benedict Cumberbatch, the Guardians of the galaxy (Pratt and I hit it off and he officially claimed himself as my 'other father' since he and my dad have the same name, Hemsworth preferred to be the spoiling uncle carrying me around as Thor whenever he could), Brie was also a lot of fun to be around she became like another sister to me alongside Lizzie and Eevee Lilly.

But the one cast member I found myself bonding to the most was Tom Holland since he and I were the youngest on set that and my crush on him was really starting to blossom into something more. He and I hung out almost every day until he got to set, we worked out together, watched movies on my computer together, he shared with me some pictures and videos of his cute dog Tessa, we did almost everything together.

And of course things like this never stay quiet on set. As the Avengers and the Guardians were all at a late night dinner, RDJ brought up the topic.

"Hey have you guys noticed that lately (n/n) and Holland are spending a lot of time together".

"Robert don't you dare even go there!" warned Sebastian as he ate his dumplings.

"No need to get so defensive there Robocop all I'm asking is if anyone else has taken notice of it".

"I have and I gotta say it's kinda cute" said Scarlett.

"I agree, they do make such a cute little couple together" admitted Lizzie.

"Well I don't like it, little brat's not good enough for her!" stated Anthony.

"I conquer! No man is good enough for my daughter!" exclaimed Pratt.

"Pratt stop she's not really your daughter" stated Zoe.

"Well what do you think of it Evans? You haven't said a word on it and she is your baby girl. What do you say?" asked Paul Rudd. Chris drank his diet-coke and stated.

"My daughter hasn't really had the chance to find love, and even when she did the guys she's dated have just used her to get to me or any of us. Broke her heart over and over again. I'll be honest; even though I've never been cool with my daughter dating, I'm grateful she's found someone who seems to care for her and not just because she's the daughter of Captain America. Mackie, Stan, tomorrow we're gonna give those two a little chat".

"Way ahead of you man" stated Sebastian.

"We got your back Cap" said Mackie.

The next day, Tom actually had a break from filming and he invited me to go out for lunch. Once I had gotten dressed and I heard a knock at my trailer and when I opened it there stood Tom Holland all dressed up semi-casual and said.

"You ready (y/n)?"

"Yep now let's go before the High members of the Team Cap Protection Program finds us". We then quickly raced out of the studio and got into a van and headed downtown for lunch.

As we ate, and after a few fan encounters during lunch, I couldn't help of how my heart was racing as I looked at Tom interacting with his fans. He was such a sweetheart and a loving, dorkable guy that I wouldn't mind dating but I doubt he'd want to go anywhere else in our relationship, plus with all the guys that have used me to get to either my dad or any other member of the Avengers have left me scarred and unable to trust anyone in a serious relationship.

"Hey (y/n),"

"Yeah?"

"Mind if I take you somewhere else before we head back?"

"Uhh yeah sure, lead the way". We then paid for our lunch and our driver took us to a beautiful park and Tom lead me through it until we reached a beautiful gazebo with a beautiful lake surrounding it with water lilies, and swans swimming.

"(Y/n) I—I've really been having fun these past few weeks with you".

"Yeah I've had a really great time too Tom, thanks for making my first studio experience a wonderful one".

"No problem". We sat there in complete awkward silence for a bit before we both said.

"(Y/n) I—"

"Do you wanna head—ohhh you first".

"No, no you first".

"Tom I insist, what were you gonna say?"

"Well umm—ugh uhh (y/n). You are probably the most—no umm you are the most fun person to be around and don't get me wrong when I say I haven't enjoyed it but I was wondering if uhh—that is if you're alright with it would you uhh—consider maybe being....."

"Are you—asking me out?"

"YES! I'm sorry I didn't mean for it to sound like that but yeah...I love you (y/n) Evans. Will you be my girlfriend?" My heart sped up and my face blushed.

"I—I....."

"I know this sounds rubbish and completely cheesy but you are the most beautiful girl I've ever met and Robert did tell me before-hand that you have been used before by other guys but I promise," he took my hand in his and squeezed it to emphasize his point "I promise I will not be like those awful gits. I promise to treat you with the right respect and you never have to worry about me using you to get to the Avengers since I am technically apart of the Marvel world, what do you say (y/n) will you be the Spider-girl to my Spider-man?" Tears formed into my eyes and I let out a choked laugh but nodded and said.

"Yes! Yes!" We then leaned forward into our first kiss before embracing each other while I cried in happiness.

When we got back to the studio with me leaning against Tom's shoulder and his arm wrapped around my shoulder we stopped in shock as standing right in front of us with arms crossed over and putting on their 'Intimidating Soldier faces' were the High members of Team Cap, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie and my dad Chris Evans.

"Mr. Evans sir, I promise you we—we didn't do anything we were just uhh—"

"Quiet spider-boy!" proclaimed Mackie.

"Yes sir" Tom said submissively as he looked down.

"Dad can you please call off the Falcon and Winter Soldier there you're scaring the poor guy".

"Its okay guys I've got this" said my dad. He and I walked up towards each other and he continued "so, are you two a thing now?"

"Yes, he just told me he loves me and he loves me for me, not like all those other guys I dated back home. Besides he's already in the Marvel so he promised to never use me to get to any of you guys". He looked between Tom and I a few times before smiling and saying.

"I approve, he's a good kid and he is one of the only guys I would trust you with when I'm not around". I smiled and hugged me dad tightly and he hugged me back. "But remember this Holland, you break her heart, I won't hesitate to take my shield and really cause some harm" he warned to Tom.

"Same goes with me, you harm Lady Liberty, I'mma gonna take you for a flight without your little webbings in our next scene together" threatened Mackie. I could swear poor Tom was going to pass out but of course Sea-bass had to make everything worse. To emphasize his point, Seb took me into his arms as he said.

"This sweet little angel is the Princess Leia to my Luke Skywalker, you harm my Princess, and there will be a fate worse than being frozen in carbonite waiting for you. And I'll even get my father to double account for that since she's met him too and he loves her".

"Oh God Seb don't bring Mark into this!" I groaned out.

"Wait you mean—" Tom started out and both Seb and I nodded and it was at that moment Tom Holland fainted.

"Thanks guys, you broke my boyfriend".

"Anytime". They all answered.

OC question time (and hugs to your girls because I love every one of 'em) (✿´ ꒳ ` ) For any or all of your gals... 1) How would they describe themselves versus how others close to them would describe them? 2) How does their living space reflect their personality? 3) What kind of rumors might circulate about them (outside of the 'ordinary')? Are any of them true? BONUS question just because I'm curious: 4) If they were a Pokémon trainer, what Pokémon would they carry with them?

Asha Cousland

1. Asha doesn’t really look at herself too nicely. She’d say she’s bossy and harsh, not very likable and super strict. She’s not entirely wrong but Aedan and Alistair know her better. Aedan’s always known she was quiet and preferred to stay on the edges of a crowd so being thrust into the spotlight makes her snappish. He also knows that if you can get her to open up and trust you, she’ll be a friend for life and even though he knows she’s a reserved person, it honestly hurts him to see how closed off she becomes because of the whole origins situation. Alistair would just say that she has a very low tolerance for bullshit and doesn’t want to waste time screwing around. She’s very much a thinker and planner so that they only have to do things once and as far as he’s concerned, she’s a very likable person and if other people can’t see that, more for him.2. Her living spaces are always highly organized. Because her life dissolved into chaos in the course of a night, she tried to keep her control however she could. Which pretty much boiled down to her tent and belongings. She always knows where everything is and can get waspish when people start messing and fiddling with it. She just really isn’t a fan of clutter because she’s had enough of unknown factors in her life that she doesn’t want anymore of it.

3. Most rumours about her are generally about her not being a friendly person. Which can be true to an extent but that just factors back to her not wanting to deal with bullshit and the nobles are famous for it. The rumours are mostly baseless though, especially if you ask anyone that works for her because they all love their queen very much. She might put up a front when she’s dealing with the nobles but they all see how she is when she doesn’t have to wear her Queen Face and they always make sure she’s fully aware of what and who is saying things about her. The only other one that really circulates is that she’s the real power behind the crown and that’s the easiest way to piss her off. She rules jointly with her husband and she really reacts badly when someone slights her husband and king that way.

4. Asha’s all about those canines my friend. She doesn’t care about balance, she’s all about the puppies. Arcanine, Lucario, Fennekin, Houndour, Eevee, and Mightyena. She cuddles with all of them, no matter how large they are. They are all her puppies.

Elora Trevelyan

1. Ells sees herself as fairly soft, especially compared to those around her. Probably a bit of a pushover when it comes to not so important things. Ionas, even though they spent a lot of time apart over their lives, knows she’s a mother hen, always has been, always will be. She cares about people and tries her best to keep everyone happy and healthy. She knows how to pick her battles, when to give in and when to never back down. Cullen usually just calls her stubborn (which pot calling the kettle back much???) but its that combination of worrying over others’ well being and needing to help to almost prove her worth he runs into the most. Which honestly bothers him because she’s more than proven her worth, that she doesn’t have her position because she’s the Inquisitor’s cousin since none of them knew she was when she took on the role, but he knows it’s mostly left over from her life in the Circle that makes her doubt herself. He knows she’s stronger than she first realises and gives herself credit for.2. Like Asha, everything has its place but Elora’s rooms feel more welcoming. Once she had her own space, she made it cozy and warm. The whole mother hen thing bleeds into this, especially her room in the mage tower in Skyhold. It’s right on the main floor so its easy to find if you need to talk to her but it also puts her right between her mages and anyone coming for them. She’s the liaison between the mages and the Inquisition so she has to be welcoming to both sides as well. Soft and comfy chairs, pillows and blankets and just a general setting to put you at ease. But she doesn’t let anyone forget she is a mage; her shelves are full of spell components and her field journals and her staff is always close at hand.

3. No one in the Inquisition wants to start rumours about the Inquisitor’s beloved cousin, but those nobles in Orlais? Halamshiral was a test of paitence and control for her as she heard the most outlandish things about herself. It was already hard given she was a mage, but hearing people wonder about everything from her social graces to her choice of attire to how a mage was part of the Inquisition’s war council and how she managed to get there kind of took its toll on her. While all of them were baseless and merely the nobles being gossipy shits, the Winter Palace was lucky to still be standing after the ball was over.

4. Ells probably has the most balanced team but even then not so much. Jolteon, Serperior, Pikachu, Dratini, Growlithe and Pyroar. She’s a fire and lightning mage so she’s partial to them and it shows. Again, tries for balance…doesn’t always work.

Evan Shaw

1. Ev would describe herself as a workaholic and not very approachable. She doesn’t think she makes friend easily or that people really want to be her friend. Juno knows she is a workaholic but that her greatest joy is creating and sharing those creations. Her baby girl is also shy, sometimes almost painfully so and can be socially awkward. When she opens up, she’s bright and lightly and will talk your ear off. Jesse would call her passionate about the things she loves, including the people she cares about. Crazy smart and cute as shit but can’t cook worth a damn. Sometimes a little too worried about proving her place in Overwatch if you ask him.

2. Evan’s place is…honestly a mess. She spends most of her time working and inventing and very little of it cleaning or keeping things in order. She’d say it’s an organized mess but it really isn’t. She honestly gets so wrapped up in her work that she doesn’t always take care of herself or her living spaces. What she does have in her house usually seems pretty random and out of place but they all hold special meaning to her, reminding her of her loved ones or actually gifts from them.

3. Most of the rumours about her stem from the fact that she isn’t supposed to talk about what she made to join Overwatch at such a young age. The other scientists and engineers aren’t exactly kind or spare much when it comes to the quiet girl who mostly keeps to herself. It doesn’t help matters that she’s fairly close to First Flight Officer Cortez, and through her the Strike-Commander, and they mostly assume that she got in because her parents were a part of Overwatch. They try to discredit what she wants to make because of that. But none of them are true since she got in with her own invention, even if she’s sworn not to talk about it.

4. If Asha is all about those canines, Ev’s all about the damn kitties. Espeon, Skitty, Purrloin, Torracat, Meowstic (she swaps between the male and female because she loves them both) and Cinccino. She’s the crazy cat lady and it shoes. She doesn’t care about balance, she just wants her kitties and cuties.

Eyra Finis-Nuntius

1. Eyra would say she’s pretty harsh and has a short temper. Moving from the Disc region to Insomnia as a child kind of made her pull into herself, putting up walls, because of how different everything was and how much she did not want to be there. At all. So she honestly sees herself as a little shit most of the time. Her dad, having gone through all the moods and tantrums of Eerie’s childhood, knows she’s always but a little shit, now. She’s sassy and playful with people she knows and cares about. She can still be a little standoffish with people she doesn’t know and he chalks it up to how much she was teased as a child. Gladio thinks she’s sarcastic as fuck, which she is, but he’s seen her at work, seen her working with patients, and he knows she cares deeply about people. She just doesn’t always show it in ways people expect and it comes off the wrong way sometimes. Badass softie is probably how he’d best describe her.

2. Eerie’s place is kind of split. The majority of her room is organized chaos because when she wants to relax, she wants to forget about structure and rules and just be herself. But her desk, workspace, and laptop are highly organized and everything needs to be in its proper place. She’s all about being efficient and time smart, at least when she’s working. God help you if try to mess with her time off though.

3. There really aren’t a lot about her beyond the basic cold bitch ones people who don’t know her might whisper about. Most people that know her know better than to talk shit about her behind her back. Maybe a random few about the fact that she’s dating a Crownsguard but never anything major.

4. Cubone, Rockruff, Umbreon, Pumpkaboo, Zorua, and Mimikyu. She got her nickname for a reason and she’s super into the spoopy so her team totally reflects that. It’s a combination between kick your ass and wanting to cuddle after a battle. …Sooooo badass softie >.>

Hey! I has a prompt if thats okay? Some soft Lucy/Maggie interaction, maybe a date night just the two of them whilst Alex is at work or Kara's :)

Alex leaned over the back of the couch and pressed kisses to the top of Maggie and Lucy’s heads. “Don’t wait up for me, I’ll probably go hang out with Kara after this battle.”

“Kick the kid’s ass, babe,” Maggie said, shifting as Munchlax rolled over in his sleep.

“I’ll kick his ass if he deserves it,” Alex said as she headed for the balcony. Kara’s Pidgeot lowered herself so Alex could climb on. “I don’t mind giving the worthy ones gym badges.” She was gone a moment later, Pidgeot diving off the third floor perch before swooping up into the air.

Lucy waggled her eyebrows at Maggie. “Now that we’re alo-”

Feebas popped out of a Pokeball on the coffee table. Lucy bit back curses as the fish knocked the wind out of her and Maggie. Lucy wrangled Feebas long enough for Maggie to get the Pokeball. Once Feebas was gone, Maggie pet her startled Munchlax back into his nap.

“Feel like a swim?” Maggie asked, trying not to be amused at the neediness of Lucy’s Feebas.

“If it means seeing you in a bikini? Of fucking course.” Lucy snagged her damned fish’s ball off the table and hauled Maggie up and towards their bedroom to change.

Five minutes later, they were at the beach just outside their home with a few Pokemon enjoying the water. Feebas was swimming circles around Maggie and Lucy, happy to be out and near her trainer. Maggie’s Dewott and Alex’s Squirtle were racing each other back and forth. Had Alex been with them, they would’ve let her Magikarp out as well, but they were certain Magikarp was due to evolve sooner rather than later and didn’t want to give it extra attention with Alex on hand to control it.

Maggie and Lucy raced out to a buoy and back; Feebas followed loyally, but the other two Pokemon had an aversion to buoys. Lucy wanted her winner’s back rub then and there. Maggie wasn’t opposed to putting her hands on her girlfriend, so sat where the water lapped around their bellies. Dewott immediately plopped down in front of Lucy.

“Only because you’re cute,” Lucy teased as she started to gently massage the developing arm and back muscles.

Squirtle pouted for a moment because of his shell. He settled in front of Dewott anyway and got a sand-scrubbing. Feebas rustled up the sand around them and brought Lucy shiny shells.

“My aunt called about the ranch again,” Maggie said after a few minutes.

Lucy glanced over her shoulder to gage Maggie’s mood. “Did she find someone to take over?”

“No. She still wants me to do it.” Maggie took a deep breath. “She’s willing to move the Eevees out here and set it up for me. For...us.”

Lucy turned around. “Us?”

“Yeah.” Maggie reached over and tucked a wet lock of hair behind Lucy’s ear. “She said we couldn’t be gym leaders forever, and the ranch is something we could pass on, make steady money off of…”

“The League doesn’t exactly skimp on their retirement fund, you know.” Lucy wasn’t against the idea, just surprised. For as long as she had known Maggie, Maggie’s Eevee breeder aunt only ever spoke of passing the ranch to Maggie, not all three of them.

“I think…” Maggie ducked her head, then looked back up. “I think she was willing to let me use the ranch as an out. But it’s been a few years now, and I think she’s convinced the two of you aren’t gonna kick me to the curb.”

Lucy squeezed Maggie’s hands. “If I was going to do that, I would’ve after the night of the teething Pichu.”

Maggie snorted and splashed her. “Says the woman who did the most research into comforting a teething Pokemon.”

“That was completely selfish,” Lucy said. “I wanted a full night’s sleep.”

“Sure. I believe you.” Maggie didn’t point out how her Pichu had pretty become Lucy’s after that week of intense care. Maggie didn’t mind, the now Pikachu was loyal to all three of them equally.

Lucy soothed her hand over Feebas as it maneuvered between them. “Alex would be the hardest sell. Too much like Eliza’s work.” Never mind that Alex and her mother were on better terms than they had been in years. Alex was still adamant about being a gym leader only, and nothing else.

“Yeah. I figured she could be the one to suss out the battlers and pets. Or she could just take over my gym to keep her busy if she doesn’t want to be involved.”

Lucy frowned. “You love your gym. You worked hard for that gym.”

Maggie shrugged. “If it means Alex doesn’t have to do something she doesn’t want to… But I think she’ll be willing if she gets a choice in the matter, rather than having it expected of her.”

“You might be right. Does your aunt have any kind of timetable?”

Maggie snorted. “She only told me to talk it out with you both and give her a reply before she’s too old to lift two Eevee at once.”

“So, like, twenty years,” Lucy said, laughing. Maggie’s aunt was the youngest of five and nowhere near old even with Maggie closing in on thirty. “I’m not saying no, but I think we definitely need to give Alex time to think about it.”

Maggie reached over the Feebas between them to wrap her arms around Lucy. She laughed as the two other Pokemon waited all of eight seconds before nudging themselves into the embrace. Lucy grinned at their antics and wondered how, exactly, she had gone from almost nothing to just about everything.
