he takes you around in his world to show you the sights. time moves differently here. he offers you food and drink, and you don't know better -- you take it willingly, consume it until your brain whooshes and fogs and all you know is that chigiri is here, with you. he is stable and warm when you swear the land seems like it's tilting, and he tells you he'll take care of you.

(he does, of course. in more ways than one.)
