Okay so not that I’m still thinking about that art or anything but I have to know, does Horror pick the others up like that too? Do Dust and Cross also get scruffed if they’re in the way or being a pest or are they scooped up more gently? Has he tried picking up Nightmare?? :o

I don't think Dust wouldn't get scruffed really, being picked up like that could be very panic inducing I feel like, especially since it removes his hood and messes with his scarf. He's not much of a trouble maker anyways. Though, maybe being picked up like from under his arms would be better, he knows he can't get out of Horror's grip (not without hurting him) so he just goes limp. Horror picks him up for being mean to Killer and it's an immediate slump.

Cross I'm not sure. I don't think he'd be scruffed too much just cause it'd be kinda awkward, they don't know each other that well yet for that kinda bond. Also with his need to be perfect, being physically stopped from misbehaving? He is not having a good time, he feels like a failure. I could see it more like... If he's being hard on himself, like cross insisting: "no, I'm fine, I should train two more hours after having already done eight!" And Horror is just like too bad get scruffed bitch. And Cross could get out of Horror's grip, but the hold is kinda comfortable and he is pretty tired and if Horror's picking him up then he should probably listen right? (Haha what a liar, he loves being taken care of and picked up, touch starved ass)

It'd be kinda funny for Horror to pick Nm up, though I feel like it'd just be reflex, like he's gotten Killer away from danger so many times just by grabbing his hood that one day on a mission he grabs Nightmare's cloak hood, Nightmare's stunned and get kinda choked, he looks back at Horror with a look, my god, if looks could make people melt into the ground that would have done it. And maybe like at home? Kinda like for Cross, when Nm's working too hard Horror comes and picks him up, it goes like this "Put me down you insolent fool! Do you know who I am-" And Horror just says he needs to eat. And Nm knows when it's about food there's nothing to try with Horror. He's all petty like "I can walk there myself" Only to be told "yeah but would you have?" *ensue Nm avoiding eye contact* "that's what I thought." And he just keeps him in his hold, and they don't really talk about it.

Whew this has gotten way too long, sorry man you just give me so many ideas 😭.

✦゜ANSWERED: Yeah!! I really liked the general vibe of how creepy-cute DDLC felt and wanted something similar for 14DWY... Aaaaand because I'm into the gurokawa art style >:3c

But canonically, [REDACTED] probably wouldn't even acknowledge Monika's existence if I'm being honest ^^; She's just another insignificant roadblock to him, and he wouldn't care whether or not they have gamebreaking abilities or yandere tendencies.

But in saying all of that, I don't really feel comfortable with others comparing 14DWY with other games/characters unless I bring it up first. It's purely out of respect for both creators (imagine building a passion project only for everyone to talk about something bigger/better/unrelated) — and also because it usually gives people the wrong idea about my characters ;v; (I can't tell you the amount of times people have asked me about Hannah being in a cult; all because they thought Ren was similar to 707 T_T)

hello!! this is an ask about the shipname chart,, i was gonna ask if u could put GothicSweaters as an alternative for Angryfrog(like “AngryFrog; GothicSweaters”) ? its a shipname i made up 🥹 i feel like ships with Ross in it have very basic and bland shipnames so i decided to make my own for him n roy,,

this is a cute name !!! i also would like to see more ross shipnames that isn’t just ‘frog’ haha

though, and i’ll have to double check, i think “gothic” has been used for ethan and morgana (poisonjab’s ocs) ships…! /nm

i wouldn’t mind adding it in the morning (12am rn) but it may cause some confusion with the other side of the fandom… 🙇 like an alt. name for morgana x roy

i normally wouldn’t worry too much about using “words” from popular (oc) ships but majority of the fandom consider ethan and his family as canon (because they are from one of the show’s animator) so it gets tricky when considering ouhhh idk idk……!!

I hate how romantic relationships are seen as one of the more, if not most, important and 'needed' relationships in society.

I hate how you need to give specific reasons to justify your lack of interest in having a family or relationship, only to be told you'll find someone who'll change your mind one day.

I hate how people have the idea of 'people are always happier in a relationship' so ingrained into their worldview that they'll try to set their friends up with each other just because they're compatible as friends, 'so of course they'll be ok with dating each other', and completely ignore that they might be nonpartnering or just not interested.

I hate how queerplatonic and alterous relationships are seen as fake or a stepping stone to a 'real' relationship just because they are partially or fully separate to romantic and sexual relationships.

I hate how people will ignore and exclude the other people with them to prioritise they're partner because 'they're my partner' and 'they're more important to me', as if that makes making people feel uncomfortable and forgotten, especially when you purposely made the conscious decision to agree to including them, ok.

I hate how people will always be less important to their friends than their partner or crush just because they love or care about their partner or crush in a different way to how they love or care about their friends, not a more important way.

(I also hate how different types of relationships are seen as more or less important than each other in general, and I'll (probably) make another post about that later, but itll probably less vent-y)

It just made sense to me he'd be throwing holy water at trick or treaters because halloween tends to be seen as like a fucked up evil holiday, and father Gregor is, wel,l a priest so it wasnt too much of a streth for me that he'd just hate halloween because its fucked up and evil

And then just whoops one of the trick or treaters happened to be like a demon or something, their friends just look a little shocked like ooooooooohhh our friends an ungodly creature :/

i yelled about this to Cross I'm pretty sure, but yeah it would make sense for him to be throwing holy water HOWEVER theres no implication its holy water besides the fact that Gregor is a priest

in the sm5 spoiler board there was a picture of holy water, also Lucky is referred to as "burnt" on patreon.

I do think it's hilarious to think Lucky is just a demon spawn but i feel like if that was the case they would've made it more... demonic?

also the fact that its in a POT and not a holy... vase... or something IDK CHRISTIANITY
