I was a Certified Sol Hater until the very end and I feel so vindicated with my belief that Sol was no friend to Joe.

He left for Korea because he found out Joe was gay and just knew he was only being nice to him because he wanted him sexually.

He only came back to Thailand when he realized that he was also gay and wanted Joe.

He was then told by Joe multiple times, during the entire show, that he never thought of him like that.

He stayed in a one sided competition with Ming for Joe's romantic affection, despite being told multiple times by Joe that he didn't see him like that.

He was in Joe's If I Stay scene and was NOT part of the reasons to stay flashbacks.

He just had to tell Ming he knew Joe always wanted Ming and was always going to end up with him, even if he had got to Joe first (when Joe never wanted him anyway). Leading to Ming awkwardly being like ...okay well thanks for this talk that was surely needed? while Joe was laid out in the hospital.

He tried to whole ass leave the country without a single goodbye to Joe. He only said bye cause Wut told Joe he was leaving, yet he had a nice group hug with the other stunt crew.

He told Joe he was gonna leave in a few days and that they'd see each other again before he left. Just to quite literally leave for Korea not five minutes later.

He wasn't a villain or evil or anything like that, but he was never Joe's friend. Maybe he could be in the future once he moves on from someone who never even considered him as an option, but that didn't make him Joe's friend once during the duration of this show.

WIP Wednesday

I was tagged by @spyridonya and I'm guessing I share something from whatever I've been writing or drawing recently? Yeah?

So under the cut, there's the most recent bit of the dr1 end rewrite I keep mentioning. With the acknowledgement that this is, like the beginning of chapter three (or four, I guess, if you include the prologue as a chapter).

...and also the acknowledgment that I have posted exactly none of this so far.

and then I'm gonna tag @butimnotasexyrussian and @only-freaking-sunflowers and @our-blood-is-our-ink and also @cissa-calls (because you keep mentioning art and you can post art for this, too, if you want)!

Day One (of an Endless Infinity).

By the time Hina wakes up, Junko has already made it into the shower (after Kyoko makes sure there’s nothing in there that she could use as a weapon, after Junko makes more than enough lewd comments about how if Kyoko really wanted to keep an eye on her then she’d join her) and back out.  They’ve already addressed the problem of clothes for now: Junko and Kyoko are roughly the same size, so although Junko is slightly taller and slightly thinner, she still mostly fits into Kyoko’s clothes, provided she also makes a comment about how tight Kyoko’s shirts are about her chest.  It’s easy enough to address that by unbuttoning more buttons than Kyoko considers strictly speaking proper, but that fits closer to Junko’s other look anyway.

Still.

Even with the jacket gone and her sleeves rolled up to the elbows, even with her own tie and boots, even with her long, damp hair pulled back into an untidy, loose braid (and her barrettes still clipped to either side of her head), the first thing Hina says after her eyes open, after she rubs the sleep from them, after she stands, startled, remembering everything, is a gentle, uncertain “She looks an awful lot like you, Kyoko.”

And Junko’s lips curve into a smug smile.  “Told you so.”
