Kamui could only imagine how much his vice commander would tease him over this. The big brother going out of his way to get food so he can cook for his sister. Which was why he never brought the guy along with him when seeing her, despite having him tag along everywhere else Kamui went. Otherwise, he was getting punched for opening his mouth.

He was having a gaming night with Kagura, so he also wanted to stock up on snacks. It was pretty much ingrained into his head that his little sister really liked seaweed flavored snacks. Kamui has taken up more jobs than usual to be able to afford everything without worry. His shopping cart was steadily filling up with various ingredients, Kamui and Kagura tend to eat more than others so he had to buy a lot of stuff. He may eventually get another shopping cart....

He'd hum to himself, with the same usual smile he'd adorn within his features. Looking through the aisles for possible curry ingredients since it was a dish he really liked. Kamui would soon go down the snack aisles, his hands covered in martial art bandages steered to a halt to look for seaweed flavored snacks. His sister was kind of weird, liking seaweed of all things. Not that he particularly hated it, but it was really bitter. Like her personality, maybe that's why. He couldn't help but feel amused over that thought.

Kamui reached up for a few bags of seaweed flavored rice crackers, as well as pickled seaweed. Her favorite. Eventually, he does take notice of the rather. . . fancy dressed blonde. Given her clothing, she didn't look like she was from around here. He looked over at her basket filled with rather odd choices for things to buy.

What a weirdo.

Kamui went towards her and easily reached up for the melon soda she seemed so desperate to get. ''Sucks to be so short, huh?'' He couldn't help but laugh a bit, obviously making fun of her.

''Didn't think I'd stumble into such a weird person when coming here.'' He was the weirdest one between them though. Kamui tilted his head a bit,

''Hey, is this stuff good? You seemed pretty desperate for it. I was considering being nice for once and help you get it, but maaaybe. . . I'll just take it for myself.'' Kamui would stare at the soda he had been keeping from her.

''I do wonder if they have strawberry flavored soda too.''

Sonia tried to live her life without regrets, though she couldn't deny that, in that current moment, she regretted her choices just a little.

It wasn't the array of brightly colored foil, plastic, cardboard, and shrink wrap that adorned her shopping basket. No, it was the way all of those packages all but overflowed from up and over the sides. But she couldn't help it: a trolley had seemed rather excessive for one person. Yet she hadn't been able to resist: a fully legal adult studying abroad in Japan came with certain privileges that being a Hope's Peak student hadn't. Perhaps the most prominent being slightly more lax security and the freedom to not reside in school dormitories, but her family's penthouse condo in Tokyo's Aoyama district was fully staffed with several rotating chefs, plenty of fresh produce, and detailed meal plans to keep the Princess of Novoselic at the pinnacle of health during her Japanese semester abroad from the University of Oxford.

What that state-of-the-art kitchen didn't have, though, was even the slightest crumb of junk food. Not that Sonia believed in snacking between meals most of the time, but there was something to indulging in an excellent horror movie, or anime series, or a gripping Japanese romantic drama with a cup of instant noodles, or a bag of individually-wrapped KitKats, or pizza flavored potato chips.

Therefore, she'd taken it upon herself to embark upon a visit to the supermarket. With its bright lights, neat displays, and a bevy of products available, she'd reached for a basket, bypassed most of the fresh produce, meat, and seafood (she stopped to select packages of strawberries and grapes, each one nearly 1500 yen each), and walked up and down the aisles, picking up a variety of products mostly branded with anime characters from toothpaste to sheet masks, before settling on her chosen destination.

The snack food aisles.

Aisles, plural, as sweet and salty were divided up between two different ones, with soft drinks and prepackaged meals rounding out the list. She played a real life game of Tetris, fitting the various bottles, bags, packets, boxes, and even plastic clamshell containers of chicken karaage and layered sponge cake, into the basket to the best of her ability.

Still, it teetered precariously in her hand as she reached up on her tiptoes, her other hand just grazing the top shelf. Even her modest high-heeled shoes didn't help her reach the bottles of melon soda she desired. "Just...a bit more...!" She murmured in Japanese. She found herself, even whilst on her own, preferring to speak the native language as opposed to Novoselic's primary languages of French and Italian, and the other thirty plus languages she could read, write, and speak to some degree of fluency. It left little room for confusion as to if the blonde-haired, blue-eyed, foreign girl was simply a naive tourist who didn't understand Japanese beyond 'ohayo gozaimasu' and 'anime.' She didn't have a choice being gossiped about as a princess, but she wanted to minimize unkind words said about her as a person simply due to her ethnicity.

Sonia sighed, lowering her heels and her basket to the ground. "If only it was on the shelf below," She muttered. It was terribly unfair: melon soda, like most of the contents of her basket, were rare finds in both England and Novoselic save for a few specialty stores focused on Japanese and Asian products.

Speaking of zinru, do you have a good reference for his tattoos? I like to do non-traditional henna that have eye patterns and would love to have his tattoos. (Idk if you play tears of the kingdom but I’ve done Sonia’s tattoos, loved how they looked so much)

I haven't played TOTK yet (still need to play BOTW) but hopefully .. someday... !! For Zinru's tattoos, this is as clear a reference I have from some years ago now, but really anything squiggly and patterned works to fill in the spaces. The main focal points are the eyes, the dots on his fingers, and the little dashes! I don't even follow the details of it myself haha, if you browse my art a lot of it is really just. Whatever squiggles work best. LOL If you do something I'd love to see it!

Hi sorry I died for a while but I've been waiting for my computer to be fixed so I can draw pretty stuff again (yes it's taken like 6 months). Now please consider my thoughts on what animals different danganronpa characters would be

I tried to make sure there weren't any duplicates unless the characters are related and some of these I've put more thought into lol

Yasuhiro is a goat but like the fainting ones because it sounds funny and I can see him freezing up and falling over.

Junko and ikusaba are both chihuahuas because they're super cute but stereotypically people say they're little demons and that fits junko, she seems innocent but is just a big meanie. And I see ikusaba as being like a buff chihuahua who's all awkward but could eat you alive.

Makoto and Komaru are ferrets, ferrets need other ferrets for inrichment and that's basically makoto he wants friends to be happy. Also I think ferrets are very silly, I have 4 named noodle, little man, chonk, and rebel (like Starbuck).

Kyoko is a cat, I felt like a cat could match many different characters but I believe that she fits a cat the most. Cats are cute but pretty solitary also I think it matches with the fact she isn't very scary compared to some characters (ik she's like mysterious type scary and stone cold but I think she's a cutie).

Fukawa is a skunk bc she's stinky.

Byakuya is a cheetah and I thought about this quite a bit, I had a few different ideas on what to pick but honestly I think since he's blonde he's obviously a cheetah!! Duh!!

Asahina is an otter bc swimming and cute.

Sakura... I had so much trouble deciding this one ommmgg 😭 I was thinking about bigger animals and like martial arts and I was thinking about a gorilla and how they like punch their chests. It's the best I could come up with.

Leon is a weasel because I could see a weasel trying baseball and not liking it very much.

Sayaka is a panda because people love pandas and I could see a panda singing pop music.

Chihiro is a bunny because cute and small, also he's like Judy hops cuz he and her wanna prove they're stronge or smth 💪🏻

Mondo is an alligator bc grrrr scary 🐊

Hijumi is a walrus bc his lips kinda look like a walrus and he's chunky like a walrus, I thought of a hamster too but I thought it fit another character better.

Ishimaru I can see being a Labrador dog bc he's a silly little guy. He'd be the dog that barks at flys.

Celeste is a fruit bat bc vampire bat is what she wishes she was so she tries to be scary and goth but she's just a cute fuzz baby.

Nagito is a wolf bc he's literally wolf in sheep's clothing but he's also kinda cute.

Hajime is a panther who doesn't know how to be a panther, he tries to be a house cat.

Teruteru is a mouse bc ratatouille but I wanted him to be a mouse bc they're smaller and I think someone else fits the rat better.

Twogami I was thinking maybe a pig who wears cheetah fur or smth, like he wears the animal skin of what he's imitating.

Pekoyama is a gazelle bc they're coooool.

Mahiru is a red panda cuz they're small and cute and red like her hair

Soda is a rat bc I can imagine him being a sewer rat who smells bad in his silly little jumper.

Sonia is a swan bc they're elegant and pretty like a princess.

Fuyuhiko is a honey badger bc they're not very big but they give 0 fucks abt anything.

Tanaka is a Vulture and everyone's like 'whaaat a vulture taking care of hamsters???? Craaazy he'll eat them' but really he loves his little guys and would never.

Nekomaru is a lion bc team work and big.

Akane is a jaguar bc big and grrrr.

Chiaki is a sugar glider bc tiny and cute.

Saionji is the basilisk bc I can see her Jesus running on water.

Ibuki is a parrot bc caawww and repeating people and singing bird.

Mikan is a possum bc they faint when scared and that's funny haha but also I think they're cute.

Kamukura is a panther but he knows how to be a panther and doesn't wanna be a house cat like Hajime.

Shuichi is a coyote bc he ain't a big wolf but he isn't a tiny dog, he's like in the middle and he's adaptable I'd say.

Kaede is a spider monkey cuz they're like very social but can be aggressive and I think kaede is a more bold but friendly character (ignoring pregame)

Amami is idk!!! I thought about it alot and I stuck with a tortus or a super chill deer.

Maki is like a black mamba cuz they're fast and when I think of an assassin I think of snakes. Also I believe black mambas aren't super aggressive unless bothered and I think this applies to Maki. She isn't aggressive really for no reason she might be sassy sometimes but she isn't gonna throttle you for no reason at all.

Himiko is a dove bc magician.

Kiibo is a chicken bc it made me think of the robot chicken TV channel thing.

Tsumugi is a fox bc cute and pretty but sneaky and will probably give you rabies.

Kirumi is an owl because she seems wise and owls are usually depicted as wise in media.

Ryouma is a poison dart frog bc tiny but will kill you with his tennis balls.

Korekiyo is a giraffe bc tall and lanky.

Tenko is a mongoose and honestly idk why I couldn't think of anything else except maybe that lizard that's like only girls and reproduces asexually so they're all female lizards.

Angie is an African wolf dog bc they work really well when hunting and it would be her little cult of dogs.

Kaito is a border collie bc they're really smart but cute and people always assume they're dumb but they're very smart and everyone says Kaito is dumb but honestly he's gotta be smart to be an astronaut.

Kokichi is a racoon bc he's a trash panda who would also give you rabies.

Miu is a pelican bc she has a big mouth and doesn't shut upppppp!!

Gonta Is an eleghant bc usually elephants are pretty chill and they're suuuuper cute and big.

Hi, thank you!! To start, I'll always be a huge Audre Lorde fan—"A Litany for Survival" was one of the first poems I read that actually got me interested in poetry, so needless to say I was disappointed that it went out in Round 1 haha. fair play to Gwendolyn Brooks though 🫡

Outside of the poets that featured in this competition, I've most enjoyed Aimé Cesairé, Claudia Rankine who I also mentioned in my previous recs, and Sonia Sanchez (in particular Homegirls & Handgrenades, but I couldn't find any poems from it online). For one less well-known than those three, I also really recommend Water & Power by Steven Dunn! That book is a wonder of moving parts—ethnographic interviews, taxidermy museums, war crimes, crazy crazy. Beautifully crafted. It's billed as a hybrid novel but I first encountered it in a class focused on prose poetry, so that's the lens that I've come to view it through. Oh, and also check out 1919 by Eve L. Ewing!

The glowing cave fish are so pretty, I love their colors. I just love all the glowing stuff in the caves, and the caves in general, they were a superb decision on nintendo’s part

I fought some of those crazy monkey bokoblin things. I forget what they’re called. I maybe screamed a little because they startled me. But also something about them reminds me of the Mogmas in skyward sword and that worries me a little (even though I’m sure it’s a coincidence).

Penn is the best. He’s so silly goofy. I love his little salute he does as he leaves and “soar long” abshdbdjdbd. I really hope he carries stuff in his beak at some point (letters would be REALLY funny).

Didn’t expect to find Impa in the middle of a field but okay! why not. Thought I’d have to hike all the way over to Kakariko to see her. I was also surprised she isn’t dead but I guess Sheikah just live longer. She’s gotta be pushing 130 at least...

Hylian? Are Zonai genes just extremely recessive or something? Or has it just been so long with so many Hylian genes that they’re just all gone. I have Questions.

I feel bad for thinking it but the blizzard situation is kinda fun ngl. I know the Rito are struggling but I LOVE snowy areas. I LOVE THEM.

Oh I forgot to mention the newspaper place, that looks like it’s going to be a fun sidequest! And the music is great there too (also Penn again!!! Beloved!!!).

It does explain a bit more what happened: it seems Lucy knew from around May-June that she wanted a new challenge because she won everything at Barça but she didn't have a real plan. Then, Sonia, Camille and Chelsea arrived and she thought that was a great thing for her and the contract was a good one.

Otherwise, she would have stayed at Barça. So, it's not like she absolutely wanted to leave but she wanted what was best for her: either she was getting a better contract so she could play football the way she wanted (and thankfully for her Chelsea was ready for that) or she would have stayed at Barça because she was happy there.

It's honestly nice to hear. Because she was happy in both situations and leaving Barça wasn't as heartbreaking as we first thought. The most difficult for her was probably leaving Ona, a city and a club where she was happy and settled.

i definitely agree! it’s nice that she had at least two very good options to consider and still so funny to me that this all basically happened on the pitch after the uwcl final like that is just so lucy coded😭

i think it would’ve been so much more gutting to hear if she didn’t get any offers that she thought suited her or if barça didn’t want her anymore so as much as it’s a little sad she was kinda close to staying at barça she’s come away with a really good deal!

at least we can be guaranteed that she’ll be flying to barcelona as much as possible seeing as she loves it so much haha

Anyway, here is a short drabble!

It was a beautiful summer day. It was sunny and warm, the perfect day for a pool party. That was Sonia's mindset when she had invited all of her classmates (and Hajime, of course) over to her summer estate to enjoy the pool. Everyone had been thrilled to go.

…Well, almost everyone.

Fuyuhiko flat out refused to go. He claimed that he hated swimming, and pool parties in particular. He had shut Sonia down so completely that she immediately became suspicious.

She had approached Hajime, hoping that he might have some insight into his boyfriend's behavior, but he hadn't been much help.

“If he says he hates swimming, that's probably all it is, right?” Hajime responded with a shrug.

Sonia frowned at him. “Perhaps. But the way he responded was ‘low-key’ very suspicious. I just want to make sure there isn't anything wrong.”

The brunette smiled earnestly. “Thanks, Sonia. I'm sure he appreciates your concern. I'm pretty sure he's fine, but I'll talk to him if that'll make you feel better.”

“Yes, please,” the princess answered, returning his smile.

Fuyuhiko had, of course, looked at Hajime like he was an idiot when he asked. “You know why I can't go to the pool party, dumbass!”

But Hajime just felt confused. “No, I don't. Can you not swim?”

The blonde's already-flushed face got darker. “Of course I can fuckin' swim!”

“Then… are you worried about a sunburn?” Hajime tried.

“Oh my fuckin'... Here!” Fuyuhiko ignored his own embarrassment, loosening his tie and unbuttoning the top button on his shirt. He tugged the fabric down enough to show the skin where neck met shoulder… and the dark purple bite mark adorning it.

Suddenly it clicked. “Oh,” Hajime replied intelligently.

“Yeah, ‘oh,’ you idiot,” his boyfriend grumbled.

Hajime really should've known the reason, given that it was largely his fault. Underneath his clothes, Fuyuhiko was absolutely covered in marks. Hickies and bite marks on his shoulders, collar bone, chest, and thighs. Handprints on his hips. Bruises on his knees.

The taller boy blushed a dark red, thinking about it. He absolutely loved his boyfriend's body, and he loved leaving marks. He loved having a visual reminder that Fuyuhiko was his. He could honestly stare at the blonde's marked-up body for hours, remembering how he left each bruise and planning where to leave more.

But obviously Fuyuhiko didn't want anyone else to see those marks. That made sense. Hajime didn't want anyone to see them, either (although there was something exciting about the idea).

“S-Sorry,” Hajime finally apologized. “I didn't even think about it.”

Fuyuhiko snorted. “Of course you didn't. But now you get it, right? I can't go to a fuckin' pool party with all our friends.” He grimaced just thinking about the others seeing the myriad of bruises under his clothes.

The brunette nodded along. “Yeah, that makes sense. I'll tell Sonia you definitely aren't going.”

“You mean you're gonna tell her that neither of us is going,” the yakuza heir corrected pointedly.

Hajime furrowed his brow. “What? Why can't I go?”

Fuyuhiko laughed, smirking at his boyfriend. “You dumbass, you have no idea what your back looks like, do you?”

Frowning, Hajime walked into the bathroom and stripped off his shirt. He turned his back to the mirror and craned his neck to see over his shoulder.

There, running down his back, were dozens of scratch marks in various stages of healing. He blushed again as memories of his boyfriend clawing desperately at his back popped into his mind.

“How long have these been here?” Hajime asked incredulously.

Fuyuhiko shrugged as he followed him into the bathroom. “I don't know, how long have we been fucking?”

The taller boy looked at him, aghast. “They've been there the whole time?!” He really didn't want to think about how many times he had changed in the school locker room with his back clearly exposed for anyone to see.

His boyfriend just rolled his eyes. “Anyway, you probably shouldn't go to the party either, huh?”

Hajime begrudgingly agreed, glancing at the reflection of his back again. “Okay… I'll tell Sonia.”

“You can't tell her the real reason, though,” Fuyuhiko warned. “That broad can't keep a secret.”

Choosing not to comment on his boyfriend calling a literal princess a “broad,” Hajime sighed. “Man, I really wanted to go swimming with everyone.”

Fuyuhiko stepped closer, slowly trailing his fingers up Hajime's chest and over his shoulder. “Well, what would you rather do, miss the pool party or stop covering me in marks?”

…Hajime supposed he could live without a pool party.

Soniru Thoughts

I don't particularly ship these two romantically per se, but I do have a thing for them in mind. I love the idea of Sonia pecking Mahiru's cheeks as a greeting. Could be that she does the same to others, but I personally like the idea of Sonia doing the same to others she's fairly close and comfortable with and if they don't mind it. Mahiru would be embarrassed with the idea at first, but would slowly grow used to it overtime. She wouldn't find it a problem at all. It's all just part of Sonia's culture - that would be Mahiru's mindset. I have absolutely daydreamt about Sonia really enjoying it to the point where she becomes bolder into pecking Mahiru's lips, almost on impulse. It could work platonically or romantically~! And again, depends on how Mahiru feels about Sonia, too, haha. It's quite a fun dynamic. I have thought about Sonia having a secret crush on Mahiru and adoring it whenever she gets the chance to interact with her. Honestly, I think the fun thing about Soniru is that - like I said - it can work both platonically and romantically, which is rare for me, since I tend to prefer one thing over the other, but I genuinely love it going both ways - it's the same for MahiPeko, too! Though, that's most likely influenced by a fic of mine. Overall, it's just funny to think about the reactions they'd get once they both grow accustomed to the kissing. Sonia: "Mahiru~!" Sonia gently clasps Mahiru's wrists into her palms. Sonia: "Good morning~!" Mahiru, unfazed: "Oh, good morning, Sonia." Teruteru: "Well, well, well, would you look at that~?" Ibuki: "Welcome to the world of yuri~! It gets slippery when wet and Ibuki knows it!" Chisa: "Ah, this is what you call young love~!" Mahiru, embarrassed: "W-wait, I think you've all got the wrong idea." Fuyuhiko: "Eh? What, you sayin' you ain't together?" Mahiru and Sonia glance over at one another and back at Fuyuhiko. Sonia: "We're just friends." It's just a rough example. I didn't really think it out all that much, to be honest, haha. But still, my point still stands. I do wonder how Kazuichi would feel. Anyways, as for my MahiSumiSatoPeko enthusiasm - well, I wonder how their jealousy and desire to do the same would take it. Activate that overprotectiveness, Sato and Natsumi! As for Peko, perhaps she unintentionally comes off as intimidating when she stares at Mahiru and Sonia being so close together...? Sonia would probably get the wrong idea and may feel like she should back off, or just brushes it off. Not sure if she's the confrontational type. I don't really focus much on Sonia, now that I mention it. Moving on, Soniru is an entertaining dynamic that I'd love to explore more thoroughly sometime!

Info for the Mastermind Sonia au!

So! Tbh the fun thing about any sdr2 mastermind au is because of all the cannon remnant stuff any of the cast could have easily been the one to fill the mastermind role and it still would have made sense. So I don’t think anything would need to differ from cannon until the last trial.

It was ages ago I was first thinking all this up so forgive me if I’ve forgotten something lol, but here’s how I sort of think it would go.

Everyone in the last trial is trying to uncover the mastermind, and while they’re pretty sure it must be Worldender/Future Foundation, Hajime says for completion's sake they need to go over if any of those in the game could have been doing it (despite the others protests). At the beginning of the game Sonia, Fuyuhiko, and Twogami commanding organizations that could have had the power/influence to run the game was brought up so they’d likely go over that again, but eventually that would turn to who could have actually made everything.

They’ve seen some crazy advanced machinery and cybernetics during the game, monokuma himself is enough of an example for that, so who could have built it all? Out of their class, there’s really only one person with the know-how, and he just so happens to have somehow made it all the way to the final trial despite the odds, isn’t that weird?

Things get very loud and ridiculous as it’s made clear Hajime is basically accusing Kazuichi of being the mastermind. Kaz himself freaking out, Fuyuhiko and Akane rushing to defend him (‘have you seen the limp noodle of a man?? No way could he be the mastermind!!’), and Hajime trying to explain.

Eventually they come up against the biggest hole in Hajime’s theory, that being the why of it. If Kazuichi did this it wouldn’t have been without a reason, and no one can think of a motivation. Not fully sure what makes it finally click yet, but it dawns on Hajime, Fuyuhiko, and Akane that there already is someone on the island they’ve seen that Kazuichi will do practically anything for, without question or complaint.

That’s when Sonia gets to do her big reveal and costume change, proudly declaring that she was the mastermind running things, and everyone else should really start bowing.

Then it’s a lot of monologuing, info like she had her memories the whole time but didn’t give Kazuichi his back until the third trial (explaining why he was so distrustful of Hajime in the funhouse bc who the heck is this guy he wasn’t a remnant or in their class why is he here???), and of course dropping the whole ‘haha you guys are secretly evil too!’ Remnant bomb.

I think that reveal would be much more impactful coming from one of their own, since Sonia and Kaz clearly being so different would add credibility to the claims. Personally I would love if Sonia had enough control on the program to like, snap her fingers and put everyone else in their remnant outfits just to really drive the point home, but that might just be the remnant brain rot talking lol.

Around then is probably when Junko’s AI would have to come on the scene, and shortly after the thh survivors from the future foundation. From that point it probably follows the same Hajime: oh no I’m Izuru Kamakura and talentless everything is terrible forever! Chiaki somehow: no you’re awesome:) Hajime: yay hope! Formula from cannon lol, and the program gets shut down.

That’s what I’ve got so far! There’s still a few things I’m not sure about, like if Sonia should get a full blown execution, or if it would be better to change things earlier on so that Gundham can be in the final trial for maximum emotional affect lol.

I also have noticed the similarities between Nabooru and the Gerudo Sage of Lightning. And my goodness, it would make the story so much more FIERY if it really were her. The DRAMA between those two seasoned warriors, those two mature lovers who still have so much passion, who found themselves on opposing sides of the conflict. LIKE COME ON.

This is essentially my vibe with the ship in OoT! But, god, yeah, between the sages participating in actual combat and Gan's physical transformation in TotK, it is such a solid and painful (good) version of the story.

Almost called it an AU. Is it an AU? I guess it is, depending on how you look at the games, haha.

But yeah I am not gonna lie I've had backburner brainrot about it for the last couple weeks.

My current vibe on TotK NabsGan Conflict/Fallout (especially with the thought of the mohawk Gerudo woman also being Nabooru, just at an earlier part of her life) is Nabs does not agree with the Zonai or want to participate in or enable their work -- but after witnessing what the secret stones could do to a herd of Molduga? That's not something she's willing to risk happening to her people, and they simply don't have the kind of power to defend against it. And logically, Rauru is only really asking for a centralized alliance with some egotistical semantics, right? They can negotiate terms, he seems reasonable enough with the other countries.

Gan, however, thinks that's bullshit. He's been at war for so long, he's watched these people waste their shoddy technology in the desert over and over again, and the earlier ones were't subtle about what they wanted from the land. He's also killed a ton of them, enough to be considered a hero to his people, and he knows Rauru wants revenge for it. The egotistical semantics are personal, the invitation is a sleight. They're being held hostage under the illusion of free will, and Gan knows there is only one of two things standing between his people and oblivion: Either complete compliance, or getting one of those stones.

So he lies, and publicly goes with option A while privately pursuing option B. Like my OoT headcanons, Nabs realizes something's Wrong when he's spending so much time in Hyrule. Sonia's death becomes the trigger for her to start working against him, and his radical transformation (both physical and mental) pushes her onto the other team out of necessity, and she convinces other Gerudo to do the same. Rauru's magics were terrifying, and Ganon's are worse. But Rauru was at least pretending to be, if he was not genuinely, willing to negotiate. Ganon is not. The anger and power have combined to create a creature of extremes.

They both just wanted their people to survive and be okay. But Ganondorf as a King was already an intense and dedicated warrior, and now he can't be calmed or reasoned with. He will not stop until he's destroyed his enemy, and now his loyalty seems to lie with the ruined and the damned, so she might as well accept a boon and defend what's left of her world.

Because, look, from her perspective, even if Gan IS only attacking Gerudo colonies that are working with (or even just favorable toward) Hyrule, it's horrific that he would destroy his people at all. And as much as she might have loved to trust him otherwise, he got this way by lying to everyone. So what's to say his favor is authentic, or permanent? There's no way of knowing what this stone will do to him in the long run.

There's also the possibility that he might not even be able to control it well at this point! His destruction, while conscious and intentional, could be a hyper-reactive emotional breach from someone who is usually highly disciplined. He might be overwhelmed by this sudden and unrelenting flow of power. But she can't risk betting that a god-king who is currently setting the entire country on fire will level out at some point.

And even if she wanted to, even if she wanted to believe this wasn't really him or what he wanted, she and the other Gerudo might not be alive to find out. She can't afford to wait and see! None of them can!

So even if it means mines and waste and clunky invasive technology, at least if she agrees to join Rauru, her people might survive this. They might maintain some control over their home. If absolutely nothing else, it's literally all she can do to try and keep them alive.

But Ganon doesn't see it that way. It's betrayal, and she's wrong. But, if it is truly her wish to die fighting for what she believes, then it is his sacred obligation to ensure that she does.

hi!! who's your favorite Danganronpa character? :D

Okay so you actually unlocked something because I am a bit crazy about Dangan Ronpa so I'm gonna do this game by game and add a cut in case someone doesn't care LOL (also big spoilers for the games)

Dangan Ronpa: Okay so as a kid I really liked Togami because I thought he was so cool and now as an adult I like him because I find him affectionately stupid. I also loved Leon and I was sad he died so early but I just think his design and execution is so fun!! Like he's very iconic for that reason I think. And speaking of Leon I also really like Maizono! I know the whole joke is "but she was only around for one chapter!" but I think she's cute and I think she was executed exactly as intended and I think she played her role really well. I also really like Naegi as a protagonist, (Though I think sometimes they weirdly put him into a "pervy protag" role for fanservice stuff? Which to me feels almost out of character?) But outside of that there's something about him I find genuinely sweet and I appreciate that he like...cares more than the average protag might, at least in my eyes. Also as a kid I never cared much for Ishimaru but rewatching the game as an adult I found him really endearing!! ALSO I love Kirigiri I think she's very babygirl and I adore Celeste for her design and I think they captured "gothic lolita" in like, one of the most perfect and iconic ways! Also call me crazy but I like Junko and I like her as a villain. I need more girls who are just super weird and evil. And Again her design is also iconic.

Super Dangan Ronpa 2: I really like Hinata also as a protagonist and I think it's funny how everyone immediately attaches to him as a best friend. I also must admit I DO like Komaeda if not just for how absolutely unhinged and crazy he is. I like Gundam and Sonia especially when they're together because I think the way they bounce off each other is nothing short of cute and endearing. I think Ibuki is super cute and as someone who enjoys scene and scenecore fashions quite a lot I do agree that I think she shares a lot of similarities with that aesthetic and I love seeing her grouped with it! I also really like Saionji because mean girls are fun and also I wish we were able to see more of the character growth she had planned originally!

New Dangan Ronpa V3: So I LOVE Korekiyo, he fits into a lot of my character types (long haired boy, mysterious, also kinda weird and creepy and unhinged) and I LOVE the aesthetics that go along with his character, like his research lab?? Oh my god that looked so good! He might be like the most Arcade-made character in the franchise so I probably coulda just answered by saying him but I have so many more characters to talk about!! I also really like Angie, I like that she's pretty manipulative and it's hard to discern at times how aware of it she is and I just really like that. Her design is also cute as hell. Kaede and Kiibo are super cute, I love how earnest they both are in their own ways and how I can't help but root for them. I found Ouma to be super fun actually too(even though I feel like people don't really understand his character) but I love Ouma just the way he was written I feel like he's just a really nice addition to the franchise! And I LOOOVE Maki I think she is also very babygirl and I feel like people also misunderstand her and the writing behind her character but with the way that V3 plays out I think her character is like actually really genius and I really admire her for that. Also again I find her design just really cute too!

Hello again, 🌸 anon!!! I'm also quite late to respond, but omg you have good taste in female characters! Seychelles was a sweetheart and I liked her character a lot, too!! As for ships, I didn't really have any, but I did enjoy the interactions between Germany and Italy! It's very funny and cute. <3 and aaaaaa nyo!America is also a very nice design!!! Wonderful taste once again hehe. I love her tomboy look!!! >0< and nyo!Italy and nyo!Finland are also both so pretty!!!

Pirate England and pirate Spain..... AAAAAA orz and the viking nordics omg omg!!!! The amount of fanfics I used to read with them... too many to count. I remember there was a time I read too many pirate England fics that I ended up dreaming about him LOL. I think I was a stowaway on his ship, but the entirety of that dream was essentially England and Spain fighting over who got the rights to own me????? ^^;;;; I couldn't begin to explain it if I wanted to.

Sonia!!!! I like her a lot!!!! Additionally, I also like Shuichi, Kokichi, Kaede, and Hagakure! I thought Aoi and Sakura's friendship was very endearing, so Sakura's death crushed me the most in the first game. It's always painful being a Danganronpa fan because your favorite character has the possibility of getting killed and that's the worst feeling. </3

AAAAAAA Mystic Messenger....... every summer, I play it just so I can get more hourglasses to finally unlock Saeran's route. I'm vaguely familiar with what happens, but even so I need to play it. T_T the same goes for Jumin's route. I want that bad ending!!!! OTL I have played Zen's route so many times in the past because he gives the most hourglasses. He's so engraved in my brain hehe. <3 I love him. And Jaehee!!!! When I played her route, I kept thinking, "Why does she keep friend-zoning us? We're so obviously in love." >:( let Jaehee love the player!!! It's what she deserves. <3 aaaa and Yoosung!! He's the cutest. :D

Mammon is my number one!!!! Something about greedy and pathetic men is just so *chef's kiss,* so it makes sense I'd inevitably simp for Mammon and Azul lol. But then Satan and Belphegor are so !!!!!! When the latter was manipulating us and planning to trick us all along when we found him in the attic. :) oooooo he's the worst. I need him. I should play Obey Me again just to see Mammon and Belphegor hehe. I have no idea what is happening in the story now, but I heard there were new characters added and I also saw a few things regarding Nightbringer! Omg but your comments on Jade and Barbatos... I need them to sit down and have tea together to see who can out-babygirl the other. >:) and if memory serves, Barbatos can see into the future or foretell all possible timelines? If that's the case, WOOOOOOO the yandere potential!!!! orz

Also, the twst characters as the seven deadly sins is such a fun thought to entertain. <3 you're giving me so much brain rot... orz

Impression now: I think he's a really neat character. His character was done really nicely and you don't have to go digging through lore to find details out about him which can be quite rare in loz sadly haha

Favorite moment: the picnic with Zelda and Sonia <3 such a dad moment for him
