They have definitely been a lot. Kamui probably would have never known what it was like to love a person like this without Saku. Love never interested him up until they met. Kamui gently looks at Saku as he moved closer to him. His bandaged wrapped hand rests on Saku's back, gently stroking it.

''That.... makes me really happy....'' Saku's words helped in uplifting his mood, smiling softly instead of looking sad. ''All I want is to be with you, to take care of you, to love you....'' He leaned into Saku's cheek, feeling warmth fill him from his boyfriend's touch.

''You mean everything to me....'' He kissed Saku's palm, over and over, gently squeezing his hand.

''You taught me how to love after all. Me, someone who kills without even thinking about it. Sometimes I do wonder if I even deserve you....'' He lets out a long exhale, looking weary.

''An angel loving someone like me, you're definitely a weirdo. But I love that about you.''

Life was funny like this. There were standards people expected to live and the actual lives they look. It made no sense for an angel and a murder to be together. Though why not? Was it something that actually couldn't be done or was it the expectations people viewed as a norm. Regardless it was clear that they were both not normal but were made for each other. Just the way he was describing their relationship Saku felt it sincerity.

He was so loved.

Moving in the bed he closed the space to embrace Kamui resting his injured heal on the other's chest. How strange it felt to not know how deep their connection is but wish to be so close. He must really love this man so much to be like this. Careful of the iv he lifted his hand caressing Kamui's cheek so gentle.

" I am very lucky and blessed I think. Even though it missing I can feel a difference in myself of the past me where my memories are coming back, the this new me that has been with you. The first thing he notices about this person is that they look weak. They also look fragile. So small, and young looking. A rather delicate appearance that looks like it could break easily. A flaw of his is how easily he judges based off first glance if someone is weak or not. This was NOT someone he sees himself actually fighting, nor will it likely ever interest him enough to do so.

''Ah, you're quite a beauty. However you look like someone who could easily be snapped in half too which is quite humorous to me.'' Kamui says with amusement behind every word.

He had been dropping by Earth to take care of mercenary work. However, for the time being he decided to let his curiosity get the better of him and see this 'circus' he had heard about that was currently nearby. Earth was definitely odd, whether it was the holidays they celebrated or the activities some humans would do. Kamui would come to find out how true that is when he saw what seemed to be a human on display. Although they were all caged up like a wild animal. He was unable to restrain an amused smile from forming on his lips. It was a really pitiful sight. He wondered how his sister would feel if she saw this. Kagura was a lot more kindhearted than him, so Kamui could only imagine the sad face she'd make.

''As better as humans try to make themselves seem compared to other species, they're still pretty heartless and evil deep down huh?'' He may just be finding it funny, seeing this girl in all her misery. Kindness wasn't something he showed just anybody, since he didn't care about a lot of people.

''I wonder how long they've been keeping you like this. Must not be fun. I know I'd be pretty pissed if someone tried that with me, although no one's stupid enough to try or else I'd snap their neck.''

Kamui was pretty used to lying and keeping things from people, only people he actually cared for ended up earning his honesty. Nara was definitely no such person, even if he did find her entertaining.

''Haha, well, it's all true. I usually travel all the time after all.'' He was kind of surprised she's never seen sightings of ships and whatnot, maybe she just wasn't around where people would normally see them? That's lame.

''My family huh? Funny you'd mention that since I would love to kill my father. ♡ I have no problem killing him at all.'' Kamui hated that guy so much after all, but he'd still continue smiling when expressing that.

When she mentioned him going to the hot springs, he'd blink at her a few times before he show slight annoyance.

''You're really annoying. Obviously I clean myself up afterwards, I don't just keep the blood on me all the time.'' It felt like she kept trying to bring a reaction out of him, and unfortunately he kept falling for it. Annoying human.

''You're right though, I don't really care. The only thing I care for is how are you in a fight. I was nice enough to answer your questions honestly at least, so be grateful for that.''

"I have heard legends of ships that can sail across the stars. I had always assumed them to be fairytales told to children." Nara continued her task, listening carefully as he seemed to pause answering her next question. Again, she felt he withheld the truth, but she did not pry.

"If people where you are from are as strong as you, I find it odd that you would come all this way for a good fight. I would also wonder why not fight your own family, but it seems you fight to kill and it may be that even you have reservations about killing your own."

At the mention of bathing in blood, Nara wrinkles her nose exaggeratedly, throwing a glance over her shoulder at him. "You should try the hot springs. There are many natural pools in this area. While not the same consistency of blood, it would certainly be more hygienic." She smiles to herself, wondering if this would get under his skin too. "Now it is only fair that you get to ask things of me as well. Though I assume you do not care to know."

There was the internal conflict of believing dying in battle was the best way for a Yato's life to end given their love for battle, along with the self loathing he already had, then the thoughts of how his death would hurt someone extremely important to him too. As the blood would continue to fall from his wounds, so many things swarmed through his mind.

Of all people to find him though, it had to be her. That annoying samurai. He'd threaten her, but it was empty words since he was pretty sure a punch from him in this state would give the same amount of damage as a toddler. He'll bluff and play it off though. Kamui despised weakness, he hated the memories of being that weak child unable to do anything, the one who failed to kill his father when he needed to the most. Being vulnerable in front of someone he fights with is out the question.

He couldn't. He just couldn't.

What if she'll look down on him? It'll make him want to kill her even more.

He'd grit his teeth, still feeling the pain throughout his body. Hell, he was in so much pain he couldn't think straight. ''I'd rather bleed out than accept help from you get away from me. Worthless human.'' Words were hissed out, despite his current state.

Getting affection from her always really put him in a good mood. It was so odd how she made him feel this way, Kamui didn't really understand it. All he knew though is that he liked putting a smile on her face.

Happy he may be about her agreeing to eat the food he cooked, Kamui saw that saddened smile Lilith would wear. He wasn't sure why she had that expression on her face. He starting thinking he could've been at fault. Maybe she had something else she'd rather be doing....?

Although, she would've said so. Wouldn't she? Honesty was a big factor in their relationship. Lilith usually mentioned whenever she was busy.

''I thought maybe you'd like something....french? So I learned some stuff I could make from that place.'' He'd pull her by the hand before they'd be in front of the table full of meals he put work into making himself.

Croque monsieur, Salmon en papillote, and Bouillabaisse, then Paris-brest as a dessert all waited on the table. Kamui clearly put a lot of effort into this.

''Going to be honest,'' He'd just rub the back of his head with a laugh,

''I don't know how to pronounce the names of any of this stuff. French is.... a really hard language. For me anyway. I hope you like the meals though. If there's anything you don't like let me know, so I can keep it in mind for next time.''

Kouleia had wanted to spend time with him, and Kamui was overjoyed naturally. However, before she texted him, he had gotten pretty injured while in a fight. He overdid it this time around, but he didn't want to give up an opportunity to be with Kouleia.

He'd just make sure the injuries weren't visible and went ahead trying to bandage all of them. But hell, there was a lot. On his torso, his arms, legs.....

All stab wounds because it never occurred to him to maybe not pick a fight with someone that had a sword as a weapon. But Kamui thought they were so fun to fight. His pain tolerance was usually pretty good, but he ended up wincing a few times while wrapping himself up. Maybe he was more worn out than he thought.

His clothes thankfully covered everything up, so she'd never know since he had cleaned himself off. Kamui would rather not bother her with that, and solely just wanted quality time with her. It was pretty humorous he was fawning over her this much nowadays, even going far enough to avoid her worrying and being bothered.

Once he had gone over to Kouleia's place, he was all smiles. He eagerly held her hand, then pressed his lips against her own.

''Are you thaaat desperate to spend time with me? Making me rush over here to see you. How cute.'' Kamui said to tease her, despite it being the exact opposite. There shouldn't be any problem while he was here, as long as there wasn't too much physical activity. But Kamui was pretty confident he could endure it regardless.
