Getting affection from her always really put him in a good mood. It was so odd how she made him feel this way, Kamui didn't really understand it. All he knew though is that he liked putting a smile on her face.

Happy he may be about her agreeing to eat the food he cooked, Kamui saw that saddened smile Lilith would wear. He wasn't sure why she had that expression on her face. He starting thinking he could've been at fault. Maybe she had something else she'd rather be doing....?

Although, she would've said so. Wouldn't she? Honesty was a big factor in their relationship. Lilith usually mentioned whenever she was busy.

''I thought maybe you'd like something....french? So I learned some stuff I could make from that place.'' He'd pull her by the hand before they'd be in front of the table full of meals he put work into making himself.

Croque monsieur, Salmon en papillote, and Bouillabaisse, then Paris-brest as a dessert all waited on the table. Kamui clearly put a lot of effort into this.

''Going to be honest,'' He'd just rub the back of his head with a laugh,

''I don't know how to pronounce the names of any of this stuff. French is.... a really hard language. For me anyway. I hope you like the meals though. If there's anything you don't like let me know, so I can keep it in mind for next time.''

How long had he been there waiting for her to wake up? Kamui didn't know, but every second felt like a century. She'd always have so much life in her. . . .

Paranoia would take reign. Thinking maybe this could have been avoided if he was more persistent in going with her. Thinking it was his fault.

Blue gaze looks over Lilith's form, all battered and bruised. Pain fills his vision, lest he not be careful he may just break down. But the minute he heard her voice, a slight gasp would leave him as he'd immediately look over at her.

Relief washes over him but he'd get worried when seeing her try to reach for him. ''H..Hey don't move... you're in bad condition right now.'' He went ahead and took her unbroken hand, holding it gently. However, his voice expressed how anxious he was at the moment.

Her reassuring smile did very little to deter his concern. Kamui hadn't immediately responded, instead getting the water as she asked and releasing his hold on her hand so she can grab it when placing it in her palm.

''You know.... the role I was supposed to play when you hired me was being your bodyguard.'' Kamui would speak after a persist few minute silence between them. His gaze would look down, hands resting on his lap while he sits next to her bed.

''....Wasn't it kind of stupid to not bring me along?'' Honesty was definitely something that came naturally when speaking with her, but Kamui was choosing to be blunter than usual with his thoughts.

''No... I guess.... Maybe I should've ignored what you said and came anyway....'' He'd force a smile, trying to keep his emotions in check but they were bouncing around like an unstable flame, inevitably close to bursting.

''This may as well be my fault.''

Kamui was just relieved he made it in time.

Kamui had checked his phone when he realized a voicemail had been left. When he recognized it was Lilith's right hand man, he listened intently then immediately grinned. He was always willing to join in a fight, he'd never stopped enjoying that.

Plus he was getting rewarded too? Kamui saw no downside to this, and almost immediately left a voicemail of his own.

"I'll be there soon! Just give me a few hours and I'll rush over."

There was so much happiness in his voice, his men would exchange odd looks with each other, given that they weren't used to their commander fawning over a woman of all things. Abuto, his vice commander would just sigh with exhaustion knowing their plans would change all because of the voicemail. Him and anyone else didn't have a say in the matter either.

Kamui turned to him, "Hey Abuto we-" he was immediately cut off.

"Yeah, yeah. I already know. Back to earth right? To meet up with that woman?" Abuto would say,

"Yeah! That's right!" Kamui beams then went back to his phone to text Lilith if she needed him to bring anything before arriving.

Personality: Definitely up to no good constantly, rebellious, inherited Kamui's violent side, but also deep down has a good heart and can be protective of who he cares about.

Special Talents: Has Kamui's super strength, and is really good at martial arts.

Who they like better: Lilith ( major momma's boy )

Who they take after more: A mix of both

Personal headcanon: I can see him eventually leading his own little gang. He gets into fights a lot, but also has good leadership skills. Unfortunately though, he can be really reckless.

Dear Lily,

It's been driving me insane. To the point that I feel nauseous. I don't think I can handle being around you anymore, it's too much. I can't do it anymore.

Every time you get injured, so many things go through my mind. None of them are good. None of them. I care about you so much, more than anything. From what originally started as minor interest, became something more. You're so important to me. But if I go through another event where you nearly get killed, I'm liable to lose it. If you actually do get killed, it won't end well. My sister already worries about me enough as it is.

I remember asking Abuto about my feelings towards you, he kept saying it was likely that I was in love with you. If that's true, my love for you hurts a lot. So much.... it hurts so, so much.

I don't wanna leave you, I loved being able to kiss and hug you, and hold your hand. I enjoyed cooking for you and seeing that smile on your face. I like that.... I actually managed to make you blush before. I've never seen you blush before, and it was probably the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.

Although, I'm just not strong enough, I've never been strong. I'm weak. I'm not awful enough that I'd ask you to just stop what you're doing to keep you safe. But I'm also not mentally strong enough to just stick around and watch you get more and more hurt. I respect you and your skills but I can't do this. Just take care of yourself.
