Okay but Sauron invoking the fall of Gondolin while torturing Celebrimbor, describing the “blood hunger” of the orcs when they ravaged the city is so evil on so many levels bc (correct me if I’m wrong ppl who are more knowledgeable about the lore) wasn’t Celebrimbor there at Gondolin? He’s witnessed the destruction of elven cities at the hands of evil before, so even though he’s trapped in the ruins of the forge he knows exactly what’s happening to the city, to the people of his city. He’s already seen it firsthand, and Sauron knows it.
