FC Reserves

Thanks to the amazing likes, votes, and interactions we've gathered in just a week of promoting our re-opening, I'm happy to say that I'm now open for FC reserves. Your interest means the world to me! You’re welcome to reserve two face claims! Please remember to add an alias when you reach out. We’ll hold your claims through Monday, January 6th, but it’s best to submit your applications as soon as possible since we have a limited number of member spots and prefer to be a smaller group. We won’t be sharing the application in advance, as it’s semi-appless and includes basic character info along with three short answer questions, one of which requires reading the lore.

                                ABOUT THE CHARACTER.

★ ━  ( meghan markle,   cis-female,   she/her )  ━ ★   just to be clear, ya didn’t get this information from me.   The person you’re lookin’ for is   GENEVIEVE ALIYAH MASTERS.    also known just as     GENEVIEVE.    Last I heard she was born on   OCTOBER 9TH, 1984      in     HACKENSACK, NEW JERSEY,   but she’s been livin’ in    GOOSE HOLLOW,    for about    THREE YEARS.   Word around the districts is, this doll,    GENEVIEVE    can be     IMPULSIVE,   BLUNT,   &    CALCULATING,   but i gotta tell, ya, alls I seen is good things, like the fact that she’s   PLAYFUL,   COQUETTISH,    &     DETERMINED.   I guess that depends on how well ya know ‘em, though.   the last thing ya need to know is that she works as an   HEIRESS.  I don’t know much about what that’s all about but I do know that’s all I can tell ya the rest you gotta find out on ya, own.    ━     ( ooc:  tori,   est,   25,   she/her )

                           BIOGRAPHICALLY SPEAKING…

growing up she was exposed to;

Genevieve has five siblings on her mother’s side and she’s pretty sure she has six siblings on her father’s side, but she’s pretty sure there’s more. Papa was a rolling stone and mama slept with a lot of men, so Genevieve certainly didn’t have the pleasure of being an only child. Growing up there was a lot of dysfunction, since her father wasn’t in her life and her mother had a series of boyfriends who knocked her up and were in and out of their lives. Until she was ten, Genevieve and her siblings lived with her grandmother, whom Genevieve was extremely close to. She had a weird relationship with her siblings and pretty much fell out of contact with them after she graduated high school and moved away. It hasn’t been until the past few years or so that she’s gotten back in contact with her mother and her siblings, and even then things are still rocky at most. Most of them, especially her mother, ask her for money and she indulges them with a short visit every now and again. Genevieve wouldn’t consider herself close with the family she was raised with, but she doesn’t have the heart to push them away again. Long story short, they’re a real pain in the butt to deal with.

On her father’s side, she is surprisingly very close with all of her half-siblings, especially her sister Eevee. Genevieve even opened her doors to her sister when she needed a place to stay while her home gets remodeled. She talks to her siblings and her father every day, and regularly throws family get-together’s. Anything she missed while she was growing up, she got with her father’s side of the family and she wouldn’t trade them for the world.

the road to portland starts with;

After ending her relationship with her long-time baby daddy-fiance- professional boyfriend, Genevieve decided it was time for a change of pace. Los Angeles quickly lost its appeal once she became a mom, and even though she loved the party lifestyle there she wanted to focus on her son. So, she quit her hosting gigs, bought a house in a nice quiet area in Goose Hollow, and started to home-school her son, Felix. The change was great for the both of them, and even though it was away from family, it was a chance for Felix to grow up out of the spotlight and have a normal childhood. Anything that makes Felix happy, Gen is doing it, and if it means staying in Portland until he’s tired of it then she’s definitely fine with that.

her occupational perspective;

Although Genevieve is an influencer, mommy blogger, philanthropist and activist, right now she heavily relies on her savings and her expansive trust fund. Posting on Instagram doesn’t make as much money as one would think, and her blog does pay the bills but she simply hates keeping up with it. Genevieve hasn’t necessarily gone lazy, she just wants to slow down in life and finally do something for herself instead of doing things other people want her to do.

So be prepared for the most open interpretation of an ex connection lmao. I’m calling her Yennefer just to have a name but as I said, you can call her whatever you’d like <3

Noah and Yennefer were together for five years, and though their relationship wasn’t all cheesy and super passionate, they were very serious and they would’ve gotten engaged too (as they talked about marriage but hadn’t arrived to the LES DO IT NOW moment y'know?)

They were both focusing on their jobs (I pictured her doing something that took a lot of working hours, like politics or a surgeon or something, but this is up to you c: ) and when she had to relocate, he would’ve followed her anywhere. But when the job relocated her to Europe, he chose to stay in the states for his siblings and his own job.

This was two years ago (end of 2017. I figured her job started at the new years ) and by now they’re still in contact through messaging and e-mails. He still views her as a close friend that he could trust, as she’s seen all sides of him and knows his secrets. He’s probably visited her in Europe a few times when he had a longer period off from work too.

If you’d like to brainstorm something for her, I’m totally here for it, but really I’d just be very excited to see her be taken since she’s been in my head for a long time now.

Hi! So I need some help, I have this character that I love but her FC is Meghan Markle and with her being a royal now I don't know if continuing to use her would be frowned upon. Any thoughts? Thank you in advance!

hm, i’m not exactly sure what the protocol / ethics are of using a royal as an FC. i know i saw some people say something about not using her anymore because she quit acting to marry harry and therefore became a “private citizen” even though she’s still very much a public figure in a different way. and, since her engagement there haven’t been any new resources released ( at least from what i found in the tags ). so i feel like the rpc had a general consensus to stop using her as an FC. personally, i don’t think there’s anything inherently wrong with using her as an FC, but i do think that it may be a little strange to use her since she did not only retire from acting but also closed all of her social media accounts. it seems like she wants to step back from that spotlight and into this new royal persona which, if you think about it, is a lot more private than if she were still an actress because we only see / hear about her during official events versus when she would be followed by paparazzi and had social media. 

following that line of thinking, i think if you are continuing to play that character in a public manner ( ie. in an indie, or in an open rp ) you should probably change the FC to someone else. but if the character is retired ( as in, she was a character from long ago that you don’t really play anymore ) then i think you can still keep meghan. that’s just my opinion.
