What's wrong?

I look around, and all I see is…nothing. Everyone, so meh, so average, so bland. I can touch them, I can talk to them, but none of them spark anything. It’s all just people in bodies, wearing skin, just existing.

But then—fictional characters. Gods, they’re gorgeous. They’re flawless. They’re the ones who make my heart race, who make me feel something at all. I want them. Not the boring, ordinary humans around me. Is that so wrong?

I want a relationship, I crave it— But the ones who’ve confessed? No. Boys, girls, whatever—it doesn’t matter. None of them were it. Not even close. I can’t help but wonder—what’s wrong with me? I don’t know what I want, but I do know I want to be held, cared for, loved— All in, all the way, no hesitation.

But no one, not a single soul around me, is worth the time. It’s all so…meh.

Everyone started dating at 12, 13, 14— And here I am, still single. My first kiss? A mistake. We were bored. We just wanted to try it out. It was disgusting, just…spit exchange. I’ll never understand why people love French kissing so much. Why is it such a big deal?

Am I asexual? Maybe. I don’t know. But I still want all the things—a relationship, love, intimacy, someone to be with. But the problem is, I don’t find anyone attractive. I want someone to love me with their whole heart, But when I look around, I see no one I want to give mine to.

I ache for it, though. I get jealous. I see them, the ones who’ve found their “person,” And I wonder—why not me? Why am I still here, waiting, hoping, Doubting every single inch of myself— My looks, my behavior, my entire existence.

Will the right person ever come? I don't even know. I just want someone to love me. And right now, it feels like that’s a dream that’ll never come true.
