So this is more of a niche DR, so uh, strap in y’all! Hjfkdhkgd

If you’re unfamiliar, this DR is based on the urban fantasy series of the same name by @/c.m.alongi_author on Tiktok. In the series, fairy tale creatures and beings of folklore have become ingrained in modern society. The main character of the series is a fae sorceress named Bob, and she runs a coffee shop (called “CaFae Latte”) with her ward, Cyrus. Over the course of the series, the audience meets a gallery of characters, such as the humans Nicole and JC, as well as vampires, werewolves, goblins, and even the Tooth Fairy! There are adventures and shenanigans galore, and I’m gonna be a part of that when I shift. 

In my DR, I live in the same town as CaFae Latte, though I don’t really get involved with the “canon” characters until a bit after I shift there. You see, the whole reason why I made this script in the first place was so that I could have a hot demon girlfriend dkjghfjkdgk

As of right now, she doesn’t have a name, I’m leaving that one up to fate, but I have picked a faceclaim for her. She looks more or less like this, but with some minor adjustments:

So, yeah! She originally met me because she wanted to try to spook me, but I invited her to my at-home movie night instead sjghfkjdkdf (We slowly became friends after that, and then we will date, if she’s interested OvO)

While she doesn’t have a name, I do! My name in this DR is Hera Corvus, and I’m a very powerful witch with boss ass tattoos. We’re both such badasses, I can’t wait!!

To make things easier for the both of us, I scripted that demons can shapeshift into more human-like forms to blend in on the mortal world more easily. Of course, I don't doubt that Bob will see right through that, so our first meeting should be pretty interesting 😂😂😂

Speaking of Bob, I don't plan on working at the cafe, but I do absolutely want to be one of the regulars there! I'm an artist, writer, and poet in that DR, so it'll be nice to vibe there while I work. And the free entertainment when Bob curses Karens is a definite plus 😂😂😂

I really hope I'll be able to join the main cast in their friend group, they're so much fun! And I wanna play Mario Kart with Cyrus SO BAD HJGHHJFDJGDK

so, rewatched the movie Again™️ (are we really surprised) and some more realizations:

in sam’s room, he has a balcony, but he also has a sunroom! i thought it was a bathroom initially but as i watched it more, i realized there was 2 entry points and that it couldn’t be a bathroom because of the door type and at the last watch, i realized it was a sunroom with a wide shot before he yeets his bag into the pool (like a drama queen)

robin spent the last day recounting home videos of george and sam to george before he finally passed

again, sam pretty in tune to robin’s emotions as well and knows when she’s upset even if she doesn’t visibly show it right away (like when she is finally told by george that he has cancer and he watches her get in the car w the boys and immediately looks to george because knows Something Is Up)

thinking about while he would have a greater range of food to try and eat, he still has comfort foods from The Tism™️, and one of them is lasagna.

at time of film in 2001: 40 years old, 5 years younger than George. Father is Raymond Monroe, half-brother to George, a fruity pebble and has 3 kids with his husband all adopted. when kids start asking about his family, he starts to look into it more and finds Sam.

Marlene Hughes (Nicole Kidman)

Was unaware she was “the other woman”, and met Ray at a bar. One night stand ensued, but she never contacted him regarding Dean. Made it work with her and Dean even though they didn't have the best life, but it only motivated Dean to really make something of himself.

Raymond Monroe (Will Patton)

Drove drunk when George was 16, killing Alice, unnamed mother, and the unnamed daughter who became disabled after the head on collision. He did survive the crash with moderate to minimal injuries. Considering that George also recognized abuse and actively fought against harming Sam the way he was hurt, I wouldn’t be surprised if Ray’s father was also an abusive alcoholic.

Alice Monroe (Sigiourney Weaver)

Wife to Raymond and mother to George, a very soft, kind woman that did stay with Ray out of fear of what life would be like as a single mother. Unaware that Ray had cheated on her and had another son with Marlene Hughes. George mentions to Sam that he would have loved her and that she was a cool person or something along the lines of that.

Robin's mom and very devoted stay at home mom, loved her children and grandkids dearly and passed of lung cancer from smoking so much.

The quiet ones are never noticed - which certainly isn't THE BUSYBODY. So yeah, they always tried to get THE COOL LOSER to help them out. Especially when they found out about them and THE GOLDEN GIRL.

Much to THE CLOSET GAY’s horror, THE BUSYBODY found out the truth of their relationship with THE GOLDEN GIRL…somehow they were convinced not to spill the beans, though. Or maybe it really was just out of the goodness of their heart !!!

THE SOCIAL BUTTERFLY is THE BUSYBODY’s dream - if only everyone was so quick to befriend someone new !!! But of course, The Busybody decided to reach out after their eagle eyes noticed THE GOLDEN GIRL in the picture The Social Butterfly posted after their party the summer of 2022, after all.

Nobody likes a mystery less than THE BUSYBODY. Perpetually fascinated with the mystery of THE GOLDEN GIRL even before she disappeared, imagine how their attention piqued when rumors surfaced that Greer had been heading to the same place THE EXCHANGE STUDENT happened to be studying abroad !!!

THE BUSYBODY has a bit of a fascination with THE GOLDEN GIRL - but with Greer gone, who is the next person that will be the focus of all that ?? Perhaps they’ll shift to focus on the Morrison who can stand up the most closely to Greer - get front row seats in case THE PROUD ELITE cracks.

Natalie always knew she was adopted. Her parents made sure to be very open about that fact. They showered her with unconditional love and supported her through her transition, which started at an early age. They helped her figure out who she was as far as gender was concerned, but Natalie couldn’t help but wonder about her roots.

She was sporty in high school, joining the volleyball team and excelling in it. She knew she was going to go on to play in college, maybe all the way to the Olympics. But then the unthinkable happened: she tore her ACL and was told she’d never be able to play at the same level again.

She felt lost, adrift, and so she began to research her birth family, learning about the Ryans in an attempt to figure out who she was other than a volleyball star. During her research, Natalie learned her birth mother was a musician. Curious to see if she had the same gift, she began to learn the guitar and piano, discovering she was actually really good and had a voice too.

Throwing herself into music, she followed her bio mom’s career as The Damned Woman, thinking the woman was cool as fuck. Eager to learn more about her family and her roots, she packed up her things and told her parents she was headed to Huntsville to finally meet her birth family and find out more about where she and the Ryans came from. Her parents supported this journey, and at twenty-one, Natalie made her way to Huntsville.

She’s now been here two years, living in the Commune and hitting up the library and town hall whenever she can. She quickly discovered that her bio mom, Briana Ryan, wasn’t in town, and she didn’t want to reveal herself to her extended family until Briana met her and invited her into the family. So instead, she’s just been hanging around, playing her music on street corners for ration cards and other things, and trying to adjust to this new (somewhat terrifying) life, while she waits for the perfect moment to reveal herself as a Ryan.

The Personality*

For as long as anyone could remember, Thalia Ryan was the life and soul of the party. With jokes for days, fearless fun having and her ability to hold court whenever she opened her mouth, it was no surprise to anyone that knew her when she shot to stardom in the comedy world. She possessed an infectious energy that was rare to find in a male dominated industry and adding her quick wit to the pot, Thalia found her space in on the stage as early as she could talk. She honed in on her craft the more she experienced life and made jokes of any and all of her life disasters. Job interviews, love life, and disastrous embarrassments, nothing was off limits. 

Thalia wouldn’t find her step to stardom until college where she met wider community that really pulled her into her hometown comedy scene. In between her studies, her jobs and general shenanigans, she ended up doing some small performances which led to voluntary stand up shows when she found she needed an outlet. It wasn’t long before she was selling out shows and earning paycheques for getting to crack some laughs. Thalia was living the dream. But what was comedy without an existential crisis and crippling imposter syndrome. As much as she loved comedy, it wasn’t covering all costs for a fashionable funny lady on the go (apartment included). 

Realising she was going to have to get a side hustle going to survive, Thalia started her own podcast called “and that’s the gospel truth” that allowed her to run her mouth about pop culture and continue with her comedy. When life was looking up, it got even better when she met Lucius Best. A hunky dreamboat and if she had it her way she would have slapped his face on every vase because that man was a piece of art. 

Married life was great, for a while. When they were good, they were great. But when things were off they struggled to recover and eventually their relationship ended amicably with them citing irreconcilable differences when the divorce papers were filed. There wasn’t one reason they were divorcing, but there wan’t a main reason either. It left Thalia in limbo for a while and she found it daunting to start over. 

Coping the only way she knew how, Thalia dived into work and found herself back on the comedy scene and she was killing it. During a comedy improv night that she was introduced to Calliope, Clio and Melanie of The Muses fame and as they say, the rest was history.

♢ history: The Zimmerman twins grew up surrounded by artists, their mother an actress and their father a playwright in Los Angeles. It was clear from an early age that their sole purpose was to make their parents look good at social events with impeccable outfits, smart conversation, and good table manners. It was a task at which they both failed miserably for different reasons, Erin for her painful shyness and Ian for his complete lack of tolerance for the exercise. High school was a dreadful experience for much the same reasons.

Their junior year, Erin challenged her social anxiety by joining a garage band. Though she was terrified to sing in front of a crowd, she'd always loved writing songs. She fell hard for the guitarist (musicians were trouble, every single one of them), who left town after graduation to try to make it big. Her depression grew worse in college, where for the first time in her life she was failing all her art classes, and her freshman year ended in a suicide attempt. Ian was never sure how he knew to leave work that night, but he saved her life.

It severely damaged their relationship, Ian furious that she would do that to herself and to him, but they patched things back together with time and therapy. They also both left college after their freshmen year and moved out of the city, deciding it wasn't a healthy environment for either of them. A smaller town where no one knew them held fewer pressures. Ian was able to write in peace and publish his first horror novel, and Erin eventually started making art and writing songs again.
