Jae-sung always felt like the odd one out in his family, he never understood why and his parents were always secretive with him growing up but there was a reason for that he’d come to learn as a teenager.

He was around 15/16 when he found out what the family secret was and was told they wanted him to take over the business. What he didn’t know was his father was sick and they wanted him to do it asap, however they weren’t expecting him to say no. He had no interest and they decided to make his life hell so he got emancipated from his parents and left home for good.

He’s been in greenview ever since, it was a nice and quiet (for him) town to settle down and get his footing in life on his own this time. The way he grew up he was taught how to save his money, invest, stock all that kind of stuff and he did that as soon as he got his first job so eventually it paid off.

Jae-sung was disowned after his emancipation but as the years went by and the more money he earned, saved and invested he decided to open up his own bar which is now known as the siren's call to keep the theme of the touristy nature of the town.

With the extra money he makes from the bar and anything else, he makes donations to different things but mostly focuses on the ones who’ve had someone murdered. Maybe it’s the guilt of his family, maybe it’s his way of being kind but maybe it’s a mix of the two.

sutton was the product of love, but that didn’t mean things worked out for her parents in the end; her father, skipper, definitely wanted her, but her mother left when she was still young, and that left sutton feeling like there was something wrong with her

she’s incredibly close to her grandparents, her father, and her uncle; they’re a very tight-knit little family, and sutton can always be found hanging out with skipper and starling whenever she’s not busy doing other things

she’s a smart person, but has the tendency not to apply herself when it matters the most; she rushed the beta theta kappa sorority as soon as she got to greenview university, and she tends to party more than she does focus on her studies

sutton is a very caring person, and doesn’t hesitate to put others before herself, especially when it comes to her family; she’s notorious for taking care of her father, especially because she’s always worried about him in some capacity

From a young age, Dasha was constantly told she was beautiful. It didn’t matter that she was clever or a great problem solver - all anyone ever noticed was her looks.

Going into modeling wasn’t even necessarily her passion, but everyone told her she should, and since she wasn’t getting praised for anything else, she agreed.

Her career skyrocketed, and Dasha lost herself entirely to the model lifestyle, turning into someone she barely recognized.

Going through a string of abusive boyfriends, her ex mysteriously disappeared just before she decided to get as far away from LA as possible for some time to detox from who she had become so she could remember who she really was.

Greenview is soothing, and Dasha finally feels like she’s starting to dig herself out of the hole she’d unintentionally buried herself in.

Born to two parents from affluent families, and spent more time as a kid being raised by housekeepers and nannies than their actual parents.

Parents tried to make up for things and the lack of time together with material possessions, trips, etc. 

Dad started his run for mayor when they were still in high school.

Unlike their twin Casper still isn't sure what it is they're going to school for and have still yet to declare a major. 

Has a number of friends and is seemingly well liked, however they’re often unsure if they actually like them or if it’s just because of the money and status that comes with being rich and the mayor’s kid.

Even though they question it, they also kind of feed into the whole thing by spending money on people and doing things like throwing parties, paying for nights out, taking people on trips and fully paying for everything, etc.. The way Libby and her twin sister were raised were very secluded from the outside world, homeschooled until they were allowed to go to public school by elementary age. This meant finding ways to entertain themselves which Libby turned to television, more often than not being found sat in front of the tv watching movies and shows whenever she could.

It was almost like it was her escape to the outside world, since she wasn’t allowed to go there she let the tv take her instead and loved the stories people could create.

High school came around and she became a little more rebellious, sneaking out in the middle of the night when her parents were asleep to go to parties or just friends houses to hang out but always made sure to be back home hours before her parents would wake up.

Her dream is to get into the acting industry as either an actress or director but doesn’t think that will happen anytime soon, she’s landed a few commercials here and there but nothing major yet. She sells her ideas and stories and that’s how she’s able to make ends meet so far.

Matrix had grown up in Texas on a ranch with her older brother clay but despite being the younger one she felt like she needed to take care of him instead of the other way around. This was due a lot to his clumsy nature, that didn’t stop her from still having time to herself though where she often spent it watching criminal shows.

This made her fall in love with the idea of becoming a detective and decided that’s what she wanted to do as her career, starting as an officer and eventually earning her way up to becoming a detective in New York where she moved because of a job offer.

She kept in constant contact with her brother though, making sure he was okay and taking care of himself, even visiting when he’d moved to greenview just to check the town out for herself.

She sustained a career altering injury where she was placed on long term medical leave, eventually making it hard for her to actually do her job and having to take a demotion but even the demotion was difficult and had to be put on desk duty.

She was too anxious to even stay in New York so she packed up her things and moved to greenview to be closer to her brother again and to feel safe. She’s trying to dip her toes back into a career she once loved by becoming an officer hoping this will help her get over her fear.

Jasmine was the middle child of two other sisters, Jovi coming only a few years after she did but even before her younger sister came around their mother had still tried to put her in ballet just like she did to her older sister. The difference was that Jasmine had no interest in it, it was too girly for her and sports caught her interest more.

She’d started with gymnastics and while she enjoyed that it still didn’t feel right for her so she started exploring other sports. Luckily with Jovi showing interest in ballet, it made it easier for her to actually do such things because Jovi was making their mothers dream come true.

She was very much a tom boy by middle school, hoodies were her favorite attire and getting all ‘dolled up’ was something she would really only do for parties, family gatherings, etc.

Soccer was her favorite sport to play but she also ended up playing softball, basketball, lacrosse and even tried out for the high school football team where she actually made it on as a kicker. She may look small but she knew how to take a hit. Soccer is what got her a full ride to college though where she only went to get an associates degree since she doesn’t have a clue what she wants to do in her life.

Her parents showed up to her games but if any games happened during one of Jovi’s ballet performances she didn’t blame them if they went to that instead, often she actually encouraged it if that happened and assured them she’d be fine.

Zeke grew up in the foster system, going in and out of group homes; partly due to his bad attitude but could you blame a kid when the reason he was there was because he lost his parents? That didn’t stop adults from treating him like he was the devil reincarnated so he decided to play the part more until he eventually ran away from his last foster home at 16 and never looked back.

He wouldn't say he was infatuated with death but more so the idea of it. When he was in his early 20’s he’d been in a bad surfing accident where he was legally dead for almost 7 minutes but was revived, ever since then he’s lived life like there was literally no tomorrow because for him there almost wasn’t.

He’d moved to greenview nearly 10 years ago and started as a gravedigger at the cemetery, eventually working his way up to the embalmer. It’s his way of making sure families got a way to say goodbye to their loved ones since it was something he never got to do.

They used to be a very happy go lucky kid until a night out on their 21st birthday where they all had too much to drink, there was an accident that killed one of their friends and it had completely changed their personality.

No one knows that they caused the accident except for their mom who then went into protective mode, making sure Spencer knew to never mention what happened that night unless they wanted to go to jail for what happened. It was essentially her way to ‘manipulate’ them into staying silent and it worked.

While they’ve heard of greenview they’ve never actually been despite it being a tourist spot but maybe that was why. Now that they are in greenview they aren’t sure what to do or where to start, especially because they’re a little confused as to why they keep getting called a different name but they suppose they’ll figure out why eventually.
