As someone with dissociative issues, I cannot shut up about how much I love Copia’s dissociation in RHRN.

Just that flat-out refusal to accept the horrible facts of life (in this case Sister dying). His mind trying to manifest the reality he wishes for, and the confusion as he slowly sees what’s actually happening again.

The way how confused he is when he’s suddenly changed into his black robes.

The hazy way he sees reality and his own imagination blending (Sister being tended to by a doctor while he tries to ignore it).

The. Fucking. Balloon. Sequence.

Copia wants away from his problems, so his mind flies him away until he literally crashes back into reality.

The balloon was great way to show it bc I know when my issues start, it does feel like I’m floating, like I’m in a different realm to the rest of the world.

I love it all and how it was done. Tobias Forge, you are a GENIUS.

viewing the fnaf movie as just a movie doesn't work. you're sabotaging yourself and taking away all the enjoyment from it if you don't think of it as the fnaf movie. if i look at it as just a movie, then yeah, i totally get what the critics are saying. it's so far from the lore of the original games (but since when has that not been a problem in the franchise lmao), the killer doesn't really have a clear motivation, and the ending does kind of come out of nowhere. but if i think of it as the fnaf movie i can actually love it. yes, it's far from the original lore. that's just how fnaf goes. yes, it is a glorified two hour lore dump. but could we want anything more from fnaf? it's literally infamous for the lore. sure, springtrap does kind of come out of nowhere. but the joy and whimsy experienced when he does show up is fucking amazing, actually. i don't care if it's a bad movie. it's the best viewing experience i've had in 2023.

I love how Colin is always so gentle and delicate with Penelope. When he speaks to her he always softens his voice, he’s always so gentle when he takes her hand or leads her somewhere, and when they kiss he is so considerate and soft with her. He kisses her with urgency but does it with an heir of knowing that this is many firsts for her so he’s treating her gently, yet he also holds onto her and touches her with such familiarity because this is Pen, his Penelope, who he’s feeling a connection with other than just merely physical attraction- he’s feeling all of the things he’s dreamed about and wished for yet never knew he would want in this lifetime.

something i desperately need in alecto the ninth is for harrow to be chasing after gideon. like, one of the most heartbreaking aspects of their relationship is that gideon genuinely believes that harrow can never be as devoted to her as she is to harrow. like, she SAYS as much to ianthe at the end of htn (and meanwhile, harrow is standing in a crumbling mansion clinging to the memory of gideon for everything she’s worth, turning herself into gideon’s mausoleum, but gideon has no way of knowing that).

gideon needs to be wanted. she manifests that in her desire to join the cohort, and it is most obvious in the way she emotionally latches onto the idea of her mother, an idea that is violently destroyed when she finds out that her mother never wanted her either. that’s why she’s the saddest girl in the world, as nona says - she might be the prince of the empire, but she isn’t wanted. ianthe is more devoted to harrow. the emperor is grieving his original lyctors. harrow is still obsessed with the idea of the body in the tomb. pyrrha found nona to love instead. hell, even aiglamene kept herself at arm’s length throughout gideon’s life. gideon really, really doesn’t think that she is loved at all.

all of this is to say I need it to not be gideon running after harrow in the last book. I need harrow to be the one showing gideon how much she cares. that gideon’s sacrifice tore her apart, that she’ll willingly burn everything to get gideon back. let harrow be the devoted one.

Kevin watching Jean ask Jeremy if he's okay, watching Jean offer to hold Laila's bag so she can fix her shoe, watching Jean hand Cat a granola bar before a game because she looked a little unsteady. He's not jealous, he had his time by Jean's side. Maybe it's grief. Grief for something that was never so innocent, never so untouched by cruel hands, something that could've been better if they were anyone else. Grief for something that's long passed and can never be fixed to be made better than before. He had his time at the receiving end of Jean's concerned glances. Maybe he's just a little sad that when he's at an away game, he no longer buys post cards for a friend. Maybe he just misses this person who used to always be by his side but they both knows it's better this way. Jean is happy, it's not with Kevin, and that's okay.

i cant even call it a soft launch anymore, this was a non newtonian launch.

it’s so fun to have the sixth sense of realizing when stuff passes the G/t Threshold. like, in fiction, size difference is a relatively popular concept. every kids show has a shrinking episode, we get constant blockbusters about giant monsters, extreme size difference occurs regularly in fiction.

but there’s always like, a point. a line in the sand. when the size is Sizing, or just a little too well done, or has gone on for juuuust a moment too long, and I realize that it’s not just casual size, but someone working on this media specifically was into g/t. it’s like, maybe the giant physics is a bit TOO well thought out, or the animation of a giant hand grabbing a tiny is meticulously perfect, or there’s subtle tropes that I haven’t seen anywhere other than the fluff g/t tags. something clicks and it’s like, oh i KNOW someone on this crew daydreams about being held by a giant on their off time.

it’s literally my favorite game when watching media. like going from “aw hehe normie size stuff” to “SOMEONE COOKED HERE. I KNOW WHAT YOU ARE” is so fun

when i read aizawa/reader fics i cannot help but notice the majority are age gap relationships. and ofc i am but a girl and love me a gruff older man, but i always think about the more realistic aspect of it. aizawa and his younger partner walking on egg shells around the topic until something finally breaks their bubble and they fight abt it. because aizawa isn't embarrassed, really, but maybe a little ashamed? not bc of who his partner is but bc he doesn't want people to talk. it's inappropriate, it's irrational. he doesn't want people to know, you know? and reader cannot comprehend bc they're both adults and who cares what anyone thinks. but he's a hero and reader is young and pretty and the whole picture would easily be painted very very badly.

i have a wip going with this premise but i'm scared to finish and post it LMAOO idk i feel like people will get mad or smth
